Speaker 1 (00:01):
I've learned that cole me was actually very much involved
in the Russia investigation in a very negative way. And
chances are this DOJ has every single email, every text message,
every communication. I believe likely he will be found guilty.
Wait what what I believe likely committed?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
Ben ferguson.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Good Monday morning, nice have you with us on the
forty seven Morning Update, and we've got two big stories
for you. First up, Democrats going after Donald Trump now
saying that this is vengeance prosecutions going after James Comy. Well,
we have new information showing that is absolutely not true,
and I'll explain that to you coming up in just
(00:45):
a moment. Also, Googling YouTube are now claiming they're letting
conservatives back online even though they were silencing in censoring
them in the past. So what does this really mean
for free speech and conservatives. I'll explain that to you
as well. But first I want to talk to you
about my friends over at Patriot Mobile. You've got a
(01:05):
lot of choices for cell phone service, with new ones
popping up all the time, But if you want to
make a difference and you want to stop giving your
money to liberal companies. Well, one way you can do
that is by getting rid of Liberal mobile you probably
have right now. That is where hundreds of thousands of
Americans are now coming together and have made Patriot Mobile
(01:26):
what they are today. They've been in service now for
thirteen years and right now is the best time ever
to switch because it's never been easier. Now, before I
tell you about that, I want you to know why
switching is so important because every time you make a call,
every time you send a text, and every time that
you pay your bill, you're actually standing up for the
(01:46):
values you believe in, your First and your Second Amendment rights,
the rights of unborn children, and you stand with our military,
our veterans, are wounded warriors, and our fallen soldier families.
Because Patriot Mobile takes about five percent of your bill
every month at no extra cost to you, and they
give it back to these organizations that fight for our values. Now,
(02:07):
let's talk about switching. It has never been easier. You
can keep your same number, keep your same phone, or upgrade.
Patriot Mobile's got a one hundred percent US based customer
service team and literally they can now with technology get
you activated in minutes from the comforty your home or
your office. You're second a contract or owe money on
your phones, no worries. Patriot Mobile has a contract buyout
(02:30):
program and this is how we win, folks by aligning
our spending with our values. Every dollar we spend matters. Now,
let me also give you a free month of service.
Go to Patriotmobile dot com slash Ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile
dot com slash Ferguson, or you can call them nine
(02:50):
to seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code Ferguson,
and you're gonna get one month free service by switching today.
So again, Patriotmobile dot com slash Firsterguson use the promo
Kurt Ferguson. You'll get a free month of service today
patriotma dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven to
two Patriot. It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Right now story number one.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
As you know, James Comy has been indicted. The question
is what happens next? Well, how did we get to
where we are now is also a question that many
are asking, And I want to take you back to
two thousand and eighteen. Catherine Heritage, who has done extensive
reporting on James Comy had this to say back then,
(03:37):
listen carefully to the word she chooses.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Amazing.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Exchange to me is when you had Director Comy confirmed
that he shared those memos documenting conversations with the president
with three other people, so the Columbia professor, that's what
he testified to. Also, he describes his personal attorineing Patrick Fitzgerald,
and then this other attorney. What's key here is that
he told you, Brett, that those memos were returned to
(04:02):
the FBI after they've found classified information. He can call
it whatever he wants. That is a classified spill of information.
Doesn't matter whether they have clearances, they didn't have the
ability to secure that information.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Sure, you listen to that, and you go back at
the timeline, and now you understand a lot of where
we're going with this case. You also have this post
from Catherine Rriage based on my two decades covering the
FBI and the Justice Department. A thin indictment suggests a
holding charge with the potential of a more complex superseding
(04:38):
indictment that adds more charges. As you know, the media
has been claiming that this is a nothing burger that
there's nothing there, that this is a weak indictment, which
is exactly why I am bringing this up for you now.
Heritage went on to say this is not only possible,
but plausible in Comy's case, based on the recently declassified
(05:01):
FBI leak investigation caspitel code name Arctic Hayes. The Arctic
Hayes records reveal several FBI senior leaders and Columbia law
professor Daniel Richmond said they coordinated media leaks at Comy's direction.
(05:21):
The former FBI Chief of Staff James Baker, former FBI
General Counsel Andrew McCain, the former deputy director Daniel Richmond,
and a Columbia law professor August fourteenth. I was among
the first to report on Arctic Hayes, she says, and
she's absolutely right. Now. Democrats have no desire for you
(05:43):
to know any of the background that I just gave you.
Why because they are afraid that this is going to
become an even bigger issue, and that's why they're trying
to act as if this is something that is quickly
going to disappear, that there is actually nothing there, that
there is nothing that you should be worried about and
(06:04):
that this is somehow just vengeful law enforcement. In fact,
that's the Democratic talking points. Senator Amy Klobachar putting it
this way on face the nation, as Democrats are trying
to spend their way out of this disaster.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
You sit on the Judiciary Committee, so I want to
ask you about what's happening right now. Earlier this month,
the US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, Eric Sebert,
resigned after failing to bring a case against New York
Attorney General Letitia James. We just spoke about her with
Robert Costa. Monday, Lindsay Halligan was sworn in as the
(06:39):
interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. She
has never prosecuted a case before. Three days into this
new job, she moved forward with the indictment of former
FBI Director James Comy on two counts. Have you spoken
to your fellow Republicans on the Judiciary Committee. Do they
have concerns about what's happening in Virginia?
Speaker 7 (06:59):
Well, I plan I'm doing that this week. And what
I see this as a former prosecutor myself, this is
weaponizing the Justice Department basically taking a career prosecutor who
was recommended by the Republican governor of the state of Virginia,
clearly has Republican roots, who made a decision based on
(07:21):
the evidence over a period of months, made a decision.
Then he's pushed out, forced out so that the president
can install his own aid into the job. When I
questioned Attorney General Bondi during her confirmation hearing, she assured
me that politics would not play a role, that they
would make independent decisions. That is not what this is.
(07:44):
This is a vengeance prosecution. It is not about the law.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
That is a spend that you're going to be receiving
for weeks and probably months. That this is a vengeful prosecution. Now,
to be clear, that is what Democrats did year after
year after year after year. They went after their political opponents,
their political enemies. They lied, They decided to try to
(08:09):
put people in jail, and to even go after the
president of the United States of America to the point
where he had how many different mug shots and how
many different indictments against him over and over again. But
now we're finding out about all the corruption with proof
of just how bad it's actually gotten. We also know
the Democrats are trying to move now to shut down
(08:32):
the government, so maybe you won't be paying attention to
James Comy. And as they're trying to shut down the government,
they're saying, somehow this is Donald Trump's fault. Hakeem Jeffries
saying this about a possible government shut down and saying
it's all Donald Trump's fault.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Oh, you haven't had any formal meetings with President Trump.
You're around him during inauguration of obviously met him. What
are your ex expectations from this meeting and can you compromise?
Speaker 8 (09:03):
Well, Donald Trump has taken a go at a loan
approach from the very beginning of this Congress, and unfortunately,
my colleagues on the Republican side of the aisle have
behaved not as a separate and co equal branch of
government and a check in balance on an out of
control executive branch, but as a consistent rubber stant for
Donald Trump's extreme agenda. Our view going into the meeting
is that we want to find bipartisan common ground, to
(09:26):
find a spending agreement that avoids a government shutdown and
actually meets the needs of the American people in terms
of their health, their safety, and their economic will be if.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
I had this is the Democratic Party's new agenda. It's
an extreme agenda. I agree with Hakeem Jeffries. The only
difference is he's saying that Donald Trump's extreme, when what
Democrats are now trying to do is say, Okay, maybe
we'll have a government shutdown so you won't pay attention
to everything else that's actually going on. You even hear
the hosts there saying that this is well kind of
(09:58):
shocking that they're designed the going to move this way.
And what does Jeffery say. He doubled down on it
and says, well, they're just a rubber stamp for the Republicans.
So if you want to know how big of a
deal the James Comby indictment is, I believe it's such
a big deal. The Democrats are now doing anything they
can to try to change the subject. They are terrified
(10:22):
that this is going to turn into a big black
eye for them. They are terrified that there's a chance
there could be more to this indictment than this the
simplistic aspect that they're trying to describe it. They're also
terrified that if he does go to prison, that there
could be others that could come down around James Comy,
(10:43):
that would be other democratic operatives. So just know, as
this story continues to grow, and as the former FBI
director goes to a trial, as he describes it, that
there is a very good chance the Democrat will do
anything they can to try to bait and switch you
(11:03):
into caring about something else. So pay attention to this
as it continues to happen. We're certainly going to keep
you updated on it here because it is maybe one
of the most important stories of this entire administration and
the corruption of the last administration. Now story number two,
there is a story the media is not talking about,
(11:26):
and that is exactly why we're going to expose it
right now. And the fact is this, Google is now
confirming that the Biden administration pressured it to censor Donald
Trump and other conservatives on a multitude of issues. Google
(11:46):
now confessing that the Biden administration pressed their words not mine,
the tech giant as well as you two, to censor
content the government felt was COVID nineteen miss information that,
according to a letter released by Jim Jordan, the parent
company of Google and YouTube, known as Alphabet, is now
(12:10):
urging those counterculture voices to quote rejoin if they were
kicked off the platform for violating the now abandoned rules
on what content creators could say about COVID nineteen and
election integrity. Alphabet attorney Daniel Donovan shared the shocking admission
(12:31):
Tuesday while speaking to the House Judiciary Committee. The Biden administration,
Donovan wrote created a political atmosphere that sought to influence
the actions of platforms based on their concerns regarding their
decision to describe things as quote misinformation. They went on
(12:51):
to also admit this it is unacceptable and wrong when
any government, including the Biden administration, attempts to dictate how
the company moderates content, and the company has consistently fought
against those efforts on First Amendment grounds. Senior Biden officials,
including the White House officials, conducted, repeated, they said, and
(13:14):
sustained outreach to Alphabet, the company that owns Google and YouTube.
They consistently reached out and pressed the company regarding certain
user generated content related to COVID nineteen pandemic that did
not violate its policies, while the company continued to develop
(13:34):
and enforce its policies, independently. The Biden administration officials continued
to press the company to remove non violated user generated content. Now,
let's be clear, these companies could have stood up to
the Biden administration. They chose not to, and now they're
acting like they had no choice but to fall to
(13:55):
the government pressure of the Biden regime. Now, several members
of the current Trump administration had videos pulled on topics
that covered COVID nineteen and the twenty twenty election, including
current FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino and also White House
counter Terrorism Chief Sebastian Gorka. YouTube takes seriously. The company
(14:17):
now claims the importance of protecting free expression and access
to a range of viewpoints. YouTube values conservative voices on
its platform and recognizes that these creators have extensive reach
and play an important role in civic discourse. They're now claiming. Now,
let's also be clear. If you want to know just
(14:39):
how much the media is involved in silencing and censoring people,
let me just remind you of what the late night
hosts we're saying and celebrating Silicon Valley censoring Donald Trump.
This is a montage of the Big Six that were
on Late Night television, the same six that are crying
when Jimmy Kimmel got a a vacation suspension and are
(15:02):
now saying that they're in favor of free speech no
matter what. Well, we've got the tape and that's a lie.
Take a listen.
Speaker 9 (15:09):
It's been suspended from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and even Snapchat.
But for this president, sill plenty of apps you do
have access to. You still have Spotify to drown out
the sound of millions of people cheering as you leave. Google,
Apple and Amazon removed the Parlor app from their platforms.
Parlor is where all the right wingers gather to post
(15:31):
qann sense and misspel the word Parlor. Trumpers are complaining
bitterly that they're being silenced. They, in fact, they won't
shut up about being silenced.
Speaker 6 (15:39):
I love having Donald Trump off Twitter, not to mention
all the other toxic racists and conspiracy theorists that have
been booted off.
Speaker 10 (15:45):
Oo damn a lifetime Twitter ban has got a sting.
They took away his precious Twitter isn't the only social
media site that wants nothing to do with our president.
He's also been banned or restricted from a bevy of
other platforms. Including Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Reddit, and even Twitch.
What are you waiting for? Porn Hub? It's not a coincidence,
(16:06):
it's a consequence. I know it's hard for you to
recognize it because you've never faced one before.
Speaker 11 (16:12):
Lifetime ban Trump's basically the Pete Rose of social media.
Right now, Trump's phone is stuffed into a pile of
rice after being drenched with tears. In addition to Twitter,
Trump has been banned or restricted from Apple, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Google, Amazon, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, Stripe, Discord,
(16:40):
and Shopify. Trump started this year thinking he should be
on Mount Rushmore. Now he can't even get on Instagram.
Speaker 12 (16:45):
However, our lives changed since Trump has been banned from Twitter. Well,
I thought we'd take a quick look outside and see
has the world changed since our president has been banned
from Twitter. Let's just look outside and see what's going on.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
I like it.
Speaker 13 (17:15):
Elon Musk is in the middle of purchasing Twitter Well today,
Musk said that one of the first things he would
do after the acquisition goes through is lift the permanent
Twitter ban on Donald Trump. So you are banning Trump?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
Was like one of the.
Speaker 13 (17:29):
Few clicked almost good things Twitter has done in like
a decade is that Donald Trump is a scam account.
It's all a scam.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
All It's a scam that is late night demanding and
celebrating the silencing of people they disagreed with, the same
thing they were crying about this past week when someone
actually lied on TV about the shooter that took out
Charlie Kirk. So always remember, whatever ever it is they're
(18:00):
saying is happening to them, is probably exactly what they've
been advocating for for years.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
