Speaker 1 (00:01):
House Speaker Mike Johnson revealing that Congress in fact may
issue a subpoena to former President Barack Obama over allegations
of a coordinated plot against President Donald Trump involving Russia
during the twenty sixteen presidential election. Now Johnson confirmed during
(00:23):
an interview with reporter David Brody that he is considering
the move amid concerns about the integrity of the nation's
intelligence processes and the alleged misuse of federal power. Johnson
making it clear that he is not going to be
intimidated by the fact that we're referring to Barack Obama,
(00:45):
a former president who could have done something so egregious.
And yes, we now have a response from Barack Obama,
which I'm going to have for you in a moment.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
But before we get to that, they're.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Going to ask you a question, are you one of
these is just so tired of giving your money to
radical left woke companies that actually are fighting against your
values every day?
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Well, there are certain bills that you pay.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Every month that if you can go with a conservative company,
why not do it? In fact, why not go with
a conservative company that actually takes part of your bill?
Every month that you're going to pay to somebody, and
they give it back to organizations that support your First
and your Second Amendment rights, that support the rights of
unborn children, that stand with our military, are first responders,
(01:33):
and so many wounded warriors that need help. Well, that
bill I'm talking about is your cell phone bill. And
I've been telling you for a long time about Patriot Mobile.
But there's no better time to switch than right now.
Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major
networks in this country, yeah, all three. That means you
get the same great coverage you're used to right now,
(01:56):
but you also make a difference with every call you
make and every text you make.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
And why would you want to give your mond a
big Mobile?
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Big Mobile has been giving big donations to democratic causes,
democratic candidates, and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations
that actually support abortion. That is why I want you
to switch right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and
make the switch, and it's so easy. All you have
(02:23):
to do is simply call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent
US based team from the comfort of your home or
your office, and they'll have you activated minutes. And if
you're still locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots
Mobile contract buyout program covers up to five hundred dollars
per device. Keep your same number, keep your phone, or
upgrade do a new one. So back to my point,
(02:45):
what are you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and
make a difference every single day with every call you make.
Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot
com slash ferguson or nine to seven to patriot. And
if you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get
a free month of service on top of that. Patriotmobile
(03:07):
dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot.
That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson, ninety seven to two Patriot.
I want to play for you this interview that he
had and the lead up coming from CBN Christian Broadcasting Network.
Take a listen to what they have in their exclusive
(03:27):
reporting on this.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Director of National Intelligence claim she has proof that the
Obama administration manufactured evidence in an effort to discredit and
weaken President Trump in his first term.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
House Speaker Mike Johnson tells CBA News that Tulsa Gabbert's
revelation is quote deeply problematic. He spoke about that issue
as well as the Epstein files in this exclusive interview
with our chief political analyst David Brody.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Although news during Donald Trump's second term has been coming
fast and furious, this latest bombshell is downright startling. Director
of National Intelligence Tulsea Gabbard declassifying documents showing what she
labels overwhelming evidence of former President Barack Obama and his
national security team basically creating intelligence about Russia attempting to
(04:23):
influence the twenty sixteen election.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
There's no question in my mind that this intelligence community
assessment that President Obama ordered be published, which contained a
manufactured intelligence document. It's worse than even politicization of intelligence.
It was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama
and his team's objective, which was undermining President Trump's presidency
(04:49):
and subverting the will of the American people.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
Gabbard called the act treasonous conspiracy. Speaker of the House
Mike Johnson is troubled too well.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
I don't know how to summarize it in by way
of description and a snappy phrase, but I will tell
you it is deeply problematic. We recognize that the people
who are being called out now were involved in a scheme.
We knew that it was a shameless, false set of accusations,
and yet they perpetuated the lie on the American people,
and they looked right into the camera and just lined clearly,
(05:20):
and they knew what they were up to the whole time.
Speaker 8 (05:22):
So there must be accountability for that. You say, there
must be accountability. The dog will work on the criminal
aspect of this. What's the role of the House here specifically?
I mean, people want to see subpoenas, they want to
see depositions, they want to see whether it be Brennan Clapper,
potentially the president of the former president of the United States.
Are you willing to go down that route because a
lot of people want to see some of these folks
(05:45):
questioned under oath?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Of course.
Speaker 7 (05:47):
Look, I think we have a responsibility to follow the
truth where it leads, and I do expect that whether
there's a special council appointed which some are suggesting, and
or in conjunction with the House investigations, that we will
get the answers. There will be accountability to the extent
that we're able to do that. Referring people to the
DOJ for prosecution in any other measure that is appropriate.
(06:07):
As we begin to uncover more of the facts, does it.
Speaker 8 (06:09):
Get tricky at all with the former president President Obama
looking at what his role on this is and bringing
him in for some sort of deposition.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
Potential supereny, Well, listen, I mean I can't. We have
no concern about that. If it's uncomfortable for him, he
shouldn't have been involved in overseeing this, which is what
it appears to us has happened.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Now.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
This goes back to the initial point that has been
made official documents revealing that Obama fabricated the Russian hoax
plot to sabotage Donald Trump's presidency. And this is what
you need to understand. This was not just political drama.
It was a coordinated setup. They told Obama the Russia
(06:49):
link was just a hoax, and he still created a
plan to tie Trump to Russia, knowing it was a
lie that it was false. Director of National Intelligence Tolcy
Gabber saying, quote their goal was to plot against Trump,
President Trump and subvert the will of the American people,
(07:11):
and they almost got away with it for years. By
the way, They lied to our nation. They said that
Donald Trump was quote, a foreign agent. That was a
lie and they knew it. They said the twenty sixteen
election was stolen. That was also a lie and they
knew it. They said that there was not only collusion,
(07:34):
but there was also going to be problems with a
compromised president. That was also a lie and they knew it.
It was all fake. It was all media backed. The
media were the ones that had to sell the story,
and they were happy to sell a story that many
in the media also knew was a hoax, and they
(07:56):
said it was the truth. They said it was the facts.
And why did they do this? Because they hated Donald
Trump as much as the Democrats did, so they worked together.
You want to know who colluded, the media with the
Democratic Party and it was all designed to stop one
man and the people who voted for him, Donald Trump.
(08:19):
It was happening to stop him before it even began.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
But that was only the start.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Not only did they manufacture this, but then when they
were asked questions about it, they then lied to you.
You want to know what else they lied to you
about as well. Let's go through the list. The media
and the Democratic Party lied to you about COVID. The
media and the Democratic Party lied to you about Ukraine.
(08:47):
The media and the Democratic Party lied to you about
censorship online and social media. The media and the Democratic
Party lied to you about Bidenflation, saying it wasn't real
and that things were better than they actually were. They
lied to you about jobs reports, adding hundreds of thousands
(09:08):
of jobs that never existed right before the election, and
they even lied to you about the elections. The list
keeps growing and growing, and yet you're now still being
told to quote, trust the process, to obey, to comply,
to sit there and be quiet, to not question people
(09:32):
in power in the Democratic Party. They also lied to
you about the health of Joe Biden. They lied to
you about his cognitive decline, They lied to you about
the auto pen and now they're lying to you about
what they did at the very beginning. So the question
we should all be asking is this, how bad is
(09:53):
the truth? Well we ever really know, well it is
real and what's manufactured by the media and by the
Democratic Party. I doubt we'll ever know that in politics.
I doubt we'll ever know it in media. In fact,
I doubt we'll even know about it the honest truth
when it comes.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
To public policy.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
But one thing that I am certain about is this
the system our government and what the Democrats have set up,
is not designed to help you or protect you. It
is designed to control you. And it's clear you cannot
rely on the media to uncover the lies of the
Democratic Party. That is another big wake up call in
(10:36):
all of this. Now, as for the President of the
United States of America, Donald Trump, while all this is
going on, he's still fighting for the American people. He's
still going out there and doing what he promised he
was going to do in the election. And that's exactly
why we need more people like Speaker Johnson who are
(10:57):
willing to hold those accountable that use the power the
way the Obama and the Bidens did it. I want
to get you another update on a big story, and
it deals with the success that the President is having
on the issue of tariffs. Now, remember Democrats said it
was going to all be doom and gloom when it
(11:19):
came to tariffs, but we're now starting to see major
successes and deals that are being made that are great
for America. A great example of this is the US
Japan Trade Deal, tariff reductions are actually in place. President
Trump announcing a deal with Japan, setting a fifteen percent
tariff on Japanese automobile exports to the US, down from
(11:43):
the previously threatened twenty five percent. What did we get
in return? Investment commitment for American workers. Japan is now
committing to approximately five hundred and fifty billion in US investments,
loans and guarantees ease.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
What does this mean, Well, it means an.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Issue of market success, because in return, the US gains
increase entry into Japanese markets for autos, rice, agricultural products
through Japan's main quotas, and tariffs on US rice, steel,
and aluminum fifty percent tariffs remain untouched now. The market
(12:23):
reactions also showed big gains in the US. Shares of
Toyota also up eleven percent, Honda up nine percent in
these surges, while Japan's currency also, the Nikyi, rose sharply
on the news. Then you look at Indonesia and the
deal there. Tariff rates the US set at nineteen percent
(12:45):
reciprocal tariffs on Indonesian imports. Initially, the President said he
threatened up to thirty two percent. We now have a change,
and here's the trade offs. Indonesia will remove export restrictions
on critic minerals and impose zero tariffs on ninety nine
percent of US goods.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
It will also.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Open markets for US aircraft, agricultural goods, energy, pharmaceutical as
well as vehicles, something that will again massively help American
workers and American jobs. Then you move to the Philippine.
The tariff right there similarly at nineteen percent reciprocal tariff
(13:28):
on Philippine exports to the US, while US exports to
the Philippines will now face zero percent tariffs. What does
this mean? Well, the announcement at the White House meeting
with the President Marcos Junior and Philippine officials are now
saying that the specifics of this deal will be good
for both countries now. Earlier deals include a twenty percent
(13:51):
terror proposal with Vietnam that it was announced earlier in July,
with additional terms about the trans shipment on illegally transship
goods also coming to a head. A UK deal at
the G seven summit in June lowered tariffs on auto's
and aerospace. India and Canada and the European Union talks
(14:13):
are still ongoing and it looks like the President says,
they are getting closer to a deal ahead of the
August first deadline. Now, all of these talks, especially the India,
Canada and EU bilateral agreements, are part of Trump's broader
Liberation Day tear IF initiative, which faced legal challenges and
the left losing their minds saying that we were going
(14:35):
to have empty shelves. That didn't happen in the US.
They said that prices were going to skyrocket. That also
did not happen. They said it was going to tank
the economy. That also did not happen. And what was
the main theme that I gave you in all of
these deals as even the headlines and foreign countries are
(14:56):
reading US strikes trade deal with Philippines in Donie as
tariff deadlines near. A major win for President Trump and
the US was how another headline put it overseas and
when they announced these latest two new trade agreements with
the Philippines in Indonesia and secured expanded market access, the
(15:16):
White House said for American goods while imposing that nineteen
percent tariff on imports from both Southeast Asian nations, what
the President said was, it is very clear it's time
for US to not be in such a bad position
with other countries. In the first announcement, Trump said the
Philippines had agreed to eliminate all tariffs on American exports,
(15:38):
calling the country quote open market with the United States
and zero tariffs. He added that Philippine exports the US
would be subject to a nineteen percent tariff, and said
the two countries had agreed to expand military cooperation as
well because of the tariff agreements, saying, quote, it was
a beautiful visit. That's what President t I'm set on
(16:00):
true social when the president of the country was in America,
saying I highly respect his country, and he respects America.
He is also very good and tough negotiator. Then later
on the same day, Tuesday, mister Trump unveiled a similar
agreement with Indonesia, saying the country would remove that ninety
nine percent of its tariff barriers on American industrial, tech,
(16:23):
and agricultural products. What does the President say about that
this deal is a huge win for our automakers, our
tech companies, our workers, our farmers, are ranchers, and our manufacturers.
So if you look at this story, there's a pretty
good chance right now that the media will not tell
(16:43):
you about it. By the way, the governments in Molina
and Jakarta have yet to confirm the details of their agreements,
but US trade representatis have also said the deal is
getting very close to being done and to put in
perspective about how how big of an impact this could
have on American jobs. Indonesia exported twenty eight point three
(17:06):
billion in goods to the US last year. The Philippines,
for example, exported fourteen point one billion, according to trade data.
The new tariff rate substantially higher than previous most favored
nation levels. Raiz wrote questions about how both nations weighed
the trade off of maintaining US market access amid broader
(17:26):
economic and strategic negotiations. Now when you hear that, this
is the takeaway, This is clearly good for America and
American workers. And if they're worried in other countries that
their sweetheart deals are going away and now they're going
to have to operate differently, that's probably even better news
for America and American workers. And having access finally to
(17:49):
all of these other countries without being blocked. This is
what the President promised, He said, the only way that
we are going to be able to row as a
nation and grow manufacturing and make sure that America was
doing what it needed to do again to protect itself.
Also on the issue of national security, by actually doing
(18:13):
things and making things in America.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
This fulfills all of that.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
The President United States of America also sitting a clear
message to others right now, others that haven't not gotten
their deals done, you better hurry up and do it.
You better hurry up and make sure you get your
deals done. And if you want a good deal and
a fair deal for your country, then you better get
(18:41):
on board right now.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
All right, I want to.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Get into another big issue, and this is one that
should make every American angry. Democrats have always said in
the left have always said, never let a crisis go
to waste. What about wildfires that fall into that category. Well,
here's the latest on a new shocking allegation that the
(19:07):
California wildfire relief known as fire Aid, the money that's
come in has virtually disappeared and has not reached the victims.
The leader of the fire Aid campaign, coordinated by the
Annenberg Foundation, reportedly raised over one hundred million dollars for
(19:28):
men and women just like you that was supposed to
go to the wildfire survivors. Well, no direct payments have
reportedly reached individuals who lost homes in the Southern California fires. Instead,
all the funds were distributed to nonprofits. Many critics say
(19:51):
that lack direct ties to the survivors at all. Journalists
and fire supervisor by the name of Sue Pecou highlight
of the issue after talking with numerous displaced residents. She
told the local Fox eleven affiliate, the fire aid money
(20:13):
is not helping the people, It's helping nonprofits, many of
which have executives who are getting a six figure salary.
The California Republican Party has now called for a forensic audit.
Why is the left being quiet? Maybe they're the ones
that are running all the nonprofits. The California Republican Party stated, quote,
(20:37):
fire victims lost everything, but not a single dollar from
the one hundred million reached them.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
This is what corruption looks like.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Foxes eleven reporting triggered an inquiry finally from the California
Attorney General's office regarding the nonprofit disbursement structure. But the
lack of transparency is what really people are angry about.
In large donor fund and recovery efforts just like this one,
(21:08):
where so many are concerned about the government's failure.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
You want to pitch in, and then you find.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Out your dollars are not reaching the people that are
actually in need. So the question now is what is next.
Number One, we need a forensic audit. There are growing
calls at both legislative and party levels for a full
audit of the fire aid fund distributions. There's also demands
(21:35):
for the Attorney General review. The AG's office may investigate
whether donor intent was violated and if oversight laws were
actually broken. And then there's the real question, can Democrats
get their heads out of that we're in in California
and actually have legislative reform. The scandal should drive those
(21:57):
changes quickly to ensure future disaster funds go directly to
individuals and not channel to people in nonprofits who are
in theory just getting rich off of other people's pain.
I want you to take a listen to what Jesse
Waters had to say on his show on Fox News
(22:17):
Channel with Steve Hilton about the money and where it's
actually going.
Speaker 9 (22:22):
Podcasters and NAACP leaders, how they spent the money and
we still haven't heard back. Out of the seventy five
million dollars distributed, only one million went to the LA
Fire Department Foundation. Zero dollars went directly to the victims.
Fire Aid says this was all by design.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Quote.
Speaker 9 (22:43):
Fire Aid does not have the capability to make direct
payments to individuals, and that was never the plan. We've
partnered directly with trusted local nonprofits. Each dollar was intended
for the community, So this was the plan all along.
Collect the money, feed it into a liberal nonprofit machine,
and just hope for the best. Sound familiar. This is
(23:06):
like la usaid Elin, I hope you're watching Steve Hilton's here.
Is this how California always operates?
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Steve Yes, I mean, Jesse.
Speaker 10 (23:20):
This is basically like it's like a parody of California
corruption and craziness, except it's all true.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I've got a couple more for you, Jesse.
Speaker 10 (23:29):
One of the organizations that they gave money to it's
in Sonoma County, which is like nowhere near LA And
another one says that it spends its money on multi
generational power building. We don't need power building in Los Angeles.
We need house building, but they're not doing that. They're
not doing any of the things that they promised. Gavin
(23:50):
Newsom in January promised a marshall plan to rebuild LA.
I did a press conference just a few days ago,
the six month anniversary the fires, standing outside a pile
of rubble and debris where he couldn't even clear the
sidewalk in six months. It's a total joke. And the
thing is that when they say that they're going to
(24:12):
do something, this is why it's so true. And what
you said is exactly right. Everything in California is like this.
They don't care about the actual results. They just say
some grand thing make themselves feel good, have good intentions,
but the results don't matter. You see it with homelessness,
where billions of dollars are spent, but in the end
the problem just gets worse. You see news and bragging
(24:32):
about where the fourth biggest economy world. Yeah, we have
the highest unemployment in the country, the highest poverty rate
in the country. The results are always a disaster with
these people.
Speaker 9 (24:42):
If none of the money really gets to any of
these fire victims and it's just fleeesed by the nonprofits,
should there be a criminal investigation.
Speaker 10 (24:51):
Definitely. I mean the people who gave money. The people
who went to those concerts and donated, they acted in
good faith. I remember people of friends with mine and
when they had real compassion, people of faith. They've been
ripped off, they've been cheated. I mean, there needs to
be a criminal investigation.
Speaker 9 (25:07):
What about Lady got about Stevie Wonder? I mean, these
guys spent all night singing, dancing, and they thought they
were gonna give one hundred million dollars to the people
of southern California. Why aren't they speaking out well?
Speaker 10 (25:21):
Because in the end, this is the Democrat machine, isn't it.
The activists and the politicians and the do gooders and
the nonprofits, they're all in. The celebrities, they're all in
the same kind of swamp of good intentions but terrible results.
But I think next year, so I'm running for Governor Jesse,
We're going to change this in California. People are sick
of this nonsense. And this is a real wake up call. Actually,
(25:43):
this fire Aid story, it's so shocking to exploit people's
good intentions and rip them off and siphon the money
off to the same old political nonprofits and activists, lefty
groups fighting ice and immigration, enforcement by the Trump administration.
That's not why people get money.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
They want to help people.
Speaker 10 (26:01):
And now they've been really revealed, the people in charge
in California and in LA for what they really are.
And now I think it's a wake up call.
Speaker 9 (26:08):
Well maybe you're going to be the wake up call,
because how many wake up calls does California need after this?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
That is a fat point.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
Steve Villen, good to see him.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
You look at Steve, who's running for governor by the way,
in California, and he's absolutely right.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
In the end, this is the democratic machine, isn't it right.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
The activists and the politicians and the do gooders and
the nonprofits, they're all in. The celebrities, they're all in
the same kind of swamp of good intentions right with
another disastrous result. And so you see that they all
take care of one another. They do the big events,
(26:46):
they raise one hundred million, Not a single one of
the victims who lost everything is received a check.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
When people decide.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
To give, they give because they want to help people directly.
This is one of the problems that makes me so
angry because I actually feel bad for other nonprofit organizations
that actually do the work because now people are gonna
be less likely to give it them the next time
(27:17):
there's a massive disaster, right, Like, you hear this story
of a hundred million dollars and nobody's actually getting the help.
And when you hear that and you think about the
hurt and the pain and the people that lost everything,
(27:38):
and then none of the money that was raised and
all these people that were involved is actually going directly them.
Then said, they're just filling the pockets of these nonprofits
and liberal woke groups and they're clearly just taking the money.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
And unfortunately they're taking advantage of it.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
They're taking advantage of the loss by of everything by
the people that were affecting these fires. And I'm sure
there's a lot of people that I mean, think about
one hundred million. Think about how many houses. If you
picked one hundred homeowners that lost everything, gave them each
a million dollars, think about what that could do. And
(28:14):
that's a hundred homes. That's one hundred plus families. Imagine
if you just gave them a quarter of a million
to try to get back on their feet, how many
that's four hundred people that lost everything that could have
been affected and said like no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
We don't do that here. That's all we do, absolutely not.
What do we do here? It's saying completely different than that.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
We raise the money and then we give it to
nonprofits and then once we give it that, you know,
give it to the not like give it to the nonprofits.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
And what happens.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
We're good, everything's fine, Everything is fine. We got our cash.
Other people's lives are hurt and we don't care. This
is the really, really really sad part of all of this. Anyway,
I hope they do a big investigation. Let me just
say that, I hope.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
People go to jail for this.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
This is corruption in stealing at a level that I
think everybody should be just infuriated.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Don't forget Hit.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
