Speaker 1 (00:01):
The fallout out of Minnesota is now reaching other states.
Is now there's more accusations in other states that Democrats
were allowing illegal immigrants and not all of them are
going to be Somali's to defraud the system on purpose
buying votes. Now, all of this is happening, and I'm
going to go through some of it in a moment.
(00:22):
But there's a new trend that has just started because
of the fallout in Minnesota. Now Mark Kelly, a Democrat,
is coming out randomly calling for the ban of stock
trading for members of Congress. Why well, there are reports
(00:42):
that are out that Alam Omar went from being negative
in her net worth when she got into Congress to
just a few years later being worth upwards of thirty
million dollars.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
How did that happen?
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Congresswoman Omar's net worth has increased again up to thirty million,
despite her claiming she isn't a millionaire. According to a
new report, Omar and her husband have a net worth
between she's stated in her government forms of six million
to thirty million according to their twenty twenty five disclosure.
The Washington Free Beacon is now reporting this disclosures from
(01:21):
the end of twenty twenty three, that is just two
years ago, show the pair had ownership stakes that only
add to the value of just about fifty one thousand dollars.
The question, obviously, is, how do you go from having
fifty one thousand dollars in your bank account to two
years later on a fixed salary that everyone knows where
(01:43):
it is, it's about one hundred change two upwards of
almost thirty million dollars. Now, Omar has denied that she
has an increase in well since being elected to Congress,
because apparently you can just lie now about everything. At
one point, she even stated, quote, she's not a millionaire.
So let's go back to Mark Kelly, hardcore liberal Democrat.
(02:05):
You know, the same guy that was in favor of
sedition and advocating for the military members to not take
the orders of the President of the United States of America.
He now as a Democrat, is coming out saying, yeah,
maybe we should ban stock trading for members of Congress
like Ommr and Anti Pelosi, whose net wealth is in
the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Take a listen, hey, folks, let's talk about these New
Year's resolutions. Never really been that big into them. My
wife Gabby, though, you know, this is something she plans
for every year, but I got one this year that
I think is pretty important. You know, my New Year's
resolution is going to be to finally get stock trading
(02:48):
banned from Congress. Why is it that members of Congress
get to use the information they have from having this job.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
And trade stocks? Ridiculous? American people don't get that. It's
not right. For that reason, I don't trade stocks. I've
got all my assets in a blind trust here on
one of the few people that do that. But we
really need the ban stock trading. It is a problem
(03:17):
that has been going on way too long.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Why did Mark Kelly decide to come out right now.
I think it's probably because he realizes how much fraud
and corruption in inCider trading is about to be exposed,
and he's trying to get ahead of it. He understands
how corrupt the Democratic Party is, how many members of
Congress around him are going to be exposed just by
(03:45):
what we're witnessing in Minnesota right now, Which brings me
back to elam Omar. Omar said, it is categorically false
to call her a millionaire. Her networth just reachs up
to thirty million and increase of at least three five
hundred percent in one year. Much of the squad member's
(04:05):
wealth comes to her husband's winery, they claim, and his
venture capital firm. How does this even happen, Well, it's
pretty simple. It happens because Congress allows it to. Which
brings me to the fight that has just started between
Alamo mar and the Treasury Secretary, Scott Descent. They're duking
(04:29):
it out now over the Minnesota fraud scandal. What I'm
about to play for you is not from the National News.
I want to be clear, they're still staying away from
this story. This is from local news. Listen carefully to
what they say about the back and forth it developments.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
The fraud scandal in Minnesota escalating over the weekend, both
Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and state Representative Ilhan Omar publicly
speaking out regarding the widespread alleged scheme allegedly orchestrated by
Somali asylum seekers. The National News desk Jeff Harris joining
us and both Beston and Omar they appeared on Face
(05:05):
the Nation, Jeff. But the two, of course is you
can expect relate much different messages to the American people
break down what we know.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
So Besson spent much of the interview on his end
discussing the Treasury Department's investigation, which includes whether taxpayer money
went to terrorist organizations in Somalia. Omar, who's part of
the Somali community, responding to those comments, saying it would
be a failure of the FBI if that did in
fact happen. Over the weekend, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessing calling
(05:34):
out Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar for her response about the
allegations of widespread fraud from the state Somali community, the
largest in the nation, and potential link to terrorist organizations.
Speaker 7 (05:46):
Representative Omar tried to downplay it, said, oh, it was
very it was very tough to know how this money
should be used. She was gaslighting the American people.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
And while Omar pushing back saying any connection between alleged
Somali fraud and terrorism would fall on the FBI.
Speaker 8 (06:06):
If there was a linkage in that the money that
they had stolen going to terrorism, then that is a
failure of the FBI.
Speaker 6 (06:15):
This fraud investigation dates back to twenty twenty two, when
the Biden administration filed charges in connection to what they
called the largest pandemic fraud in the US. Bessen saying
he was asked last week to investigate whether Minnesota's tax
dollars made its way to terrorist organizations linked to Somalia.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
That money has gone overseas and we are tracking that
both to the Middle East and Somalia.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
Minnesota is currently dealing with multiple fraud scandals totaling over
one billion dollars in stolen taxpayer funds, including nearly three
hundred million from the nonprofit Feeding Our Future. Omar's campaign
receiving donations from people charged in that scheme, donations, she says,
have since been returned.
Speaker 8 (06:57):
We obviously had people who were able to donate to
our campaign that were involved. We send that money back now.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
The House Oversight Committee announcing last week it's also opening
an investigation into the fraud in Minnesota, Chairman James Comer,
saying whistleblowers were ignored.
Speaker 9 (07:15):
That this fraud was taking place and that both the
Attorney general and the governor of Minnesota turned a blind
eye to it.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
Meanwhile, Republican Senator John Kennedy also wing in on the
Senate floor last week, calling the fraud case quote a
clown world on steroids.
Speaker 9 (07:29):
It makes me want a nie someone in the groin.
It just makes me furious.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
Now, a total of eighty seven people have been charged
across all the main fraud cases here, all but eight
being of Somali descent, with sixty one conviction secured so far.
Amy Bach, founder of Feeding Our Future and the alleged
mastermind of that scheme, was found guilty on accounts and
right now is awaiting sentencing. Reporting for the National News Desk,
I'm Jeff Harris.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
You notice there in that report they talk about how
Omar says, oh, I return the money, so apparently everything
should be fine. Well, how did she become a multimillionaire?
She also is dismissing these new allegations as quote right
wing disinformation campaign, saying again, I am not a millionaire.
(08:18):
Then why on your financial disclosures do you value your
net worth up to thirty million dollars in just a year.
This came out of nowhere. How much does she make
less than two hundred thousand dollars a year? You can
do the math on it and decide what you think
about that. And you go back to Mark Kelly calling
(08:39):
to Banstock trading for members of Congress, saying this has
gone way too long. Why because he understands that we
are now at the tip of a very large iceberg
that is being investigated, and there are other states where
the same type of fraud is going to be exposed.
(09:00):
Something that will make you laugh about this entire scandal
is remember the Quality Leering Center. You know the sign
where they couldn't even spell the word learning correctly. Well,
after that sign has gone viral, they have suddenly fixed
a sign and it now reads the actual word learning.
I'm not joking, this is literally what it says.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Now JD.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Vance, the Vice President United States of America, putting out
a tweet saying, quote, what's happening in Minnesota is a
microcosm of the immigration fraud in our system. Politicians like
it because they get power, Welfare cheats like it because
they get rich. But it's a zero sum game and
they're stealing both money and political power from Minnesotans. He
(09:47):
couldn't be any more right on what he's saying, which
brings us to the new headline the Department of Homeland
Security on Tuesday now highlighting what they're referring to is
day two of a massive operation in Minnesota. As federal
agents are intensifying their efforts to crack down on the
widespread Somali initiated fraud targeting the state and federal programs.
(10:11):
The Department of Homeland Security posted a video online showing
agents conducting searches and enforcement actions aimed at individuals that
are suspected of defrauding taxpayers of billions of dollars now.
This surge is following the new allegations involving daycare centers
in Minnesota, many that are operated by Somali residents that
(10:34):
are accused of abusing public assistance programs caught red handed
on tape. Are investigative agents are conducting a massive operation.
DHS says to identify, arrest, and remove criminals who are
defrauding the American people. We will root out this rampant
fraud that is plaguing Minnesota, the Department of Homeland Security
(10:55):
said in a post on Acts Now. The announcement comes
amid heightened screw on the state, which has already been
under investigation for years over large skilled fraud involving Medicaid,
pandemic relief funds, and the child nutrition programs. Homeland Security
Secretary Christy Nome confirming that Homeland Security Investigation agents are
(11:18):
actively operating. Quote, we are on the ground in Minnesota,
in Minneapolis right now conducting a massive investigation on childcare
and other rampant fraud. This comes to the FBI director
also increasing their operations on day two, saying federal authorities
are focused on dismantling what they describe as large scale
fraud schemes exploiting federal programs now. The latest push follows
(11:43):
reporting by the journalist Nick Shirley, who again I say,
is a hero, who showed the Somali daycare centers in
Minneapolis committing as much as one hundred million in fraud
in a single day. Minnesota's most notorious fraud case remains
defeeding our future scandal, but there are real chances now
that that could be in the past and new fraud
(12:05):
scandals could be even more expensive. That fraud scandal was
all related to the COVID nineteen fraud scheme, the largest
in our country's history. That was three hundred million in
pandemic relief funds that were intended to provide food for children.
And guess what the Somalis did. They stole the money. Now,
(12:26):
since twenty twenty two, seventy eight people have been charged,
fifty seven had been convicted or pleted guilty. Federal Prosecutor
Joe Thompson is estimated that total losses from fraud schemes
in Minnesota alone could easily exceed more than a billion dollars,
and earlier this month, the federal prosecutor also led a
half or more of the roughly eighteen billion in federal
(12:49):
funds sent to support fourteen Minnesota programs since twenty eighteen
have been misappropriated. Yes, we're talking about fraud now. James
from the House Oversight Committee Chairman set He now plans
the subpoena top Minnesota officials, including the governor Waltz, to
testify under oath to Congress investigating how the fraud went
(13:13):
undetected for years. I think we all know it wasn't undetected.
They knew about it, they were in on it, and
they knew it was helping them get elected to office,
which brings me back to the accountability aspect of all
of this. There are now real members of Congress that
are taking action, including Senator John Kennedy, a Republican who
(13:34):
represents Louisiana, describing the one billion dollars Somali fraud case
in Minnesota as a clown world on steroids and deeply discussing.
Kenny made the comments during a Senate for speech when
speaking about the feed or Future fraud scandal with prosecutors
uncovering the defrauding of the federal government during the COVID
(13:57):
nineteen pandemic. I want you to listen and carefully to
what the Senator had to say in front of all
his colleagues, many of them listing on the floor, who
actually represent Minnesota.
Speaker 9 (14:10):
It makes me. It makes me want to knee someone
in the groin. It just makes me furious, and I
think the American taxpayers feel the same way. What I'm
about to tell you, mister President, let me apologize in advance,
is deeply disgusting. It's deeply disgusting. I mean, it is
(14:38):
clown world on steroids. And when I first read about this,
mister President, I read it a second time because I
was I experienced slack jawed astonishment. And when I read
it a second time and I realized it was true,
(15:00):
I just wanted to run away, screaming, what am I
talking about?
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Mister President, we have.
Speaker 9 (15:07):
Discovered the federal federal prosecutors have discovered that for the
last five years, there has been massive welfare fraud in
the great state of Minnesota. Massive. Over a billion dollars
(15:35):
of American taxpayer money has been stolen, just stolen. They
can call it fraud, but a better term would be stealing.
And this fraud has been centered in the Somali community
in Minnesota. Now, I'm not here to criticize the Somali community.
(16:00):
I'm here simply to describe what happened. The Somali community
in Minneapolis is about eighty thousand people. They're centered around Minneapolis.
And let me say it again, I'm not here to
(16:22):
detegrate the Somali people or people of Somali ancestry just
because of the actions of a few. But it is
a fact that this one billion dollars in welfare fraud
occurred almost exclusively in the Somali community in Minnesota and
(16:48):
was orchestrated by people with Somali ancestry. That's a fact.
Facts aren't racist. Facts are facts.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Facts aren't racists. Facts or facts.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
It makes me want to need somebody in the growing
slamming the state leaders in demanding accountability. The American taxpayers,
he said, feel the same way. Freederal prosecutors say that
fifty nine people have been convicted in those schemes so far,
and that more than one billion in taxpayer money has
been stolen in three plots they are investigating. That is
(17:27):
more than Minnesota spends annually to run its Department of Corrections.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Hundreds of millions of dollars were diverted.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Again by several Somali nationals who took the money they
were supposed to be using literally to feed children, and
in fact we're pocketing for criminal instances. Kennedy saying that
this is truly shocking. It was one hundred and twenty
five million meals that this charity claim they were providing
(17:59):
to children that were not provided at all. So what
can we all do to make sure that this continues
to have light put on it? Share all the information
that I'm giving you, Share it everywhere that you can
so that more people see what the Democrats have been
(18:21):
doing and also what the media has been covering up.
Donald Trump is unleashing the federal government and its resources
to hold those accountable for the fraud in Minnesota at
a staggering pace. We now know that federal funding has
been frozen and systems safeguards are being put into place.
(18:45):
The Trump administration, starting with the Department of Health and
Human Services, has frozen about one hundred and eighty five
million in federal childcare funds to Minnesota as part of
accountability measures over suspected fraud in the state programs. It
was announced by the Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neil. This is
(19:06):
what he had to say about how much money is
going to stop flowing to the fraudsters in Minnesota.
Speaker 10 (19:12):
Hello, I mayh just Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neill. I'm here
with Assistant Secretary Alex Adams Silverseas, the Administration for Children
and Families and TRUMPID journalists have made shocky, incredible allegations
of extensive fraud in Minnesota's childcare programs. We believe the
state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake daycares to
siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.
Speaker 11 (19:34):
My office ACF provides Minnesota one hundred and eighty five
million dollars in childcare funds each year. That money should
be helping nineteen thousand American children including toddlers and infants.
Any dollar stolen by fraudsters is stolen from those children.
Yesterday I spoke directly with the director of the Minnesota
Childcare Services Office. She could not tell me with confidence
(19:56):
whether those allegations of fraud are isolated or whether there's
fraud stress statewide.
Speaker 10 (20:01):
Today, we have taken three direct actions against the blatant
fraud that seems to be rampant in Minnesota. First, I
have activated our defend the Spend system for all ACF
childcare payments across America. Starting today, we require a justification,
receipt or photo evidence before we make a payment. Second,
I've just signed and sent a demand letter to Governor Walls.
(20:23):
I required a full three hundred and sixty review of
these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections.
Speaker 11 (20:32):
And Third, we've launched a dedicated fraud reporting hotline and
email address at childcare dot gov. Whether you're a parent,
a provider, a member of the public, we want to
hear from you. Let me be crystal clear. ACF expects
every state to uphold the highest standards of oversight, monitoring,
and accountability for federal dollars. Minnesota is no exception.
Speaker 10 (20:53):
We're committed to holding bad actors accountable, regardless the rank
of office. Anyone is involved in perpetrating this fraud against
the American people should expect to be prosecuted to the
fullest extent of the law.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Not only are is HHS officials saying they're activating to
defend the spend system, requiring evidence and justification before further
federal payments are made, but they also said that if
you are involved in the fraud, they are coming after
you and you will be prosecuted, Which brings me to
Part two of the Trump administration's response. They have now
(21:26):
expanded the federal investigation. The FBI and the Department of
Homeland Security have significantly increased their investigative efforts in Minnesota,
including now deploying additional federal agents. They're on the ground
investigating all that has been uncovered. The actions are described
by federal law enforcement leadership as part of a quote
(21:49):
broad effort to uncover and dismantle large scale fraud operations
within the state. Now, this is on top of the
intensified federal actions built on the existing work where dozens
of convictions have already been secured in major fraud schemes,
including the large pandemic air feed Our Future case. Federal
(22:12):
prosecutors and investigators say they're continuing to pursue accountability, including
additional charges and oversight demonstrate the ongoing commitment to enforcement
of the law in the state. Now this isn't just
going to be in Minnesota, We're being told as well.
They expect us to expand to other states where fraud
(22:33):
is unfolding.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Now.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
The reason why these actions matter is because they're freezing
the funds when misuse is even suspected instead of when
it's just proven. It helps protect federal dollars for their
intended purpose. A great example without is actual childcare and
childcare support for families of American citizens. They also say
(22:56):
requiring evidence before disbursement add safeguards that were previously weaker
because they were trusting and now they're going to reduce
the risk of large scale fraud in the future. And
expanding the investigative resources signals the federal resolve from the
Trump administration thoroughly examining and prosecuting fraud beyond just low.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Core state efforts.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Now, while all this is happening, there's also a pr
disaster for Governor Tim Walls. In fact, there's a new
ad out right now, and this is what it sounds like.
Speaker 12 (23:29):
Tim Walls doesn't seek out fraud. Fraud seeks out Tim Walls.
When scammers apply for jobs, they list him as a reference.
Under his watch, Fraud is Minnesota's fastest growing small business,
his biggest export taxpayer money delivered to foreign terrorists. If
Fraud had a frequent flyer program, he would always fly
(23:52):
first class. He is Tim Walls, the most fraudulent man
in America.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
The scary part is there's a lot of truth to
that parody ad, which brings us back to even the
bigger issue now, and that is the Democrats response.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
They're not seeing fraud at all.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
In fact, they're looking at the opposite of that, making
it clear they don't believe that anything really bad is happening.
A great example is ms NBC or ms NOW, whatever
the hell they call themselves with the New York Times.
One of those in charge the editorial board had this
to say on Morning Joe, saying that if you are
(24:31):
criticizing the fraud in Minnesota, you are a racist towards
Somali's take a listen.
Speaker 13 (24:38):
The question is, you know, why is this a priority?
In a different kind of way, the politicization of the
DOJ and the FBI is undeniable. So whether they are
reliable narrators is the big question. And this is what
happens when you weaponize and politicize federal agencies that are
not meant to be you know, politicized. And I think
(25:02):
the American people are right to ask the question, well,
can we trust you? And that's a sad thing to
say as an American. Let's recall too that there's also
other scandals in other states, for example, the Mississippi welfare scandal,
and this is not unique to politics. Americans know that.
But of course, the other factor here is that because
(25:23):
it looks like the Somali population in Minnesota, the Smali
immigrant population may have been some involved in some way,
those people are being scapegoaded, and that community is being
scapegoaded in a way that certainly serves the far right.
And so that's also something to keep an eye on,
and that's inappropriate. Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
So there you have it, Democrats going back to their playbook.
Anytime they can't defend their actions or their fraud, they
scream racism and say how dare you criticize a Somali community. Now,
let's be clear about just how massive this fraud is
within the Somali community. It isn't just a few bad
actors that set up a few daycare centers. This is
(26:07):
a widespread fraud with the community owning these centers as
well as the children they claim are going to the centers,
and the kickbacks that are going to the parents for
signing their kids up that never actually attend. This is
not a little fraud. It is a massive fraud. And
the massive fraud is all Somali run and organized. It's
(26:31):
no different than organized crime. It's no different than what
we see with the cartels. And that's exactly why the
president has no other choice but to do exactly what
he's doing right now, unleash the entire federal government to
go after those that have stolen billions of dollars from
the taxpayers. Now, this is another example of just how
(26:56):
absurd the left has really become. They say, do not
punish anyone because they are Somali, And the real reason
why is they want to buy votes. Why else would
you bring in so many Somali voters. You brought them
in so they'd support you. You got them addicted to
government aid, and you know they're going to vote for
(27:17):
you as long as you pay them through the government aid.
And the waste and the fraud and the abuse, and
the scary part of all is Democrats aren't even outraged
over this, and they're not outraged that the money was
actually going to a terrorist organization, al Shabab.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
So here we are. It is a divide.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
You're either standing with the terrorists al Shabab, or you're
standing with the American taxpayer, the hard working Americans that
pay their taxes that have been ripped off. And now
we know exactly where the Democrats stand on the issue.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
It's not with you, it's with the terrorists.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
