Speaker 1 (00:01):
Are you with.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
That's what I want you to give.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
People. Treat us so man Wall Street Journal. It's truly
gotten the hell ahead. A rotten newspaper.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Everybody I said, it's a rotten newspaper. You're listening to
the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Good Monday morning. Ben Ferguson with you. It's so nice
to have you on the forty seven Morning Update. And
here are the three big stories we're talking about today.
First up, Lindsey Graham has some questions for the man
that's going to be leading the DEA and what he
had to say about Kamar Obrega Garcia, Well, it will
shock the media with their big lie and the Democratic Party,
(00:39):
and we have the audio for you here in just
a moment. Up next, it's not just about tariffs when
it comes to fighting with China. This after the Chinese
Foreign Ministry said the fetanel problem is a US problem,
not a China problem, even though the chemicals for fetnol
are coming from China. We'll have the latest on President
Trump's response on to the shocking move and admission by
(01:02):
the Chinese Communist Party that yeah, they are sending the
drugs that are killing countless Americans and finally, we're coming
for you. That is the message from the Trump administration
as major roundups of illegal immigrants happened over the weekend.
We'll give the details about where all this took place
and how they're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
This is just the beginning.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
Story number one, another media lie has exploded in the
face of Democrats and those in the media that we're
telling the story. President Donald Trump's pick to lead the
drug enforcement agency known as the DEA has blown up
the denials from liberal media outlets that purported that the
(01:45):
MS thirteen gang member Kilmar Obrego Garcia is not sporting
tattoos for the gang. The DEA administrator Terry Cole made
it very clear to the members of the Senate Judiciary
Committee that the media and demic crafts were long about
the tattoos of a man they described as just a
father from Maryland. He was asked about the tattoos during
(02:09):
the hearing from Lindsey Graham, and here is what he said.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Are you familiar with MS thirteen, Yes, sir, briefly, what
are they?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
They're a terrorist organization?
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Yeah, they've been designated a foreign terrorist organization. Yes, sir,
they're involved in drugs, fentanyl.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
Extortion, kidnapping, drugs, intimidation, money laundering.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
In your time in the DEA, do they have like
membership cards?
Speaker 6 (02:35):
Not necessarily the membership cards, but they are well recognized
based on tattoos and different Do you.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
Have a photo I think our office provided to you.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
We spoke, Yeah, we spoke about it earlier. Yes, sir,
can you give this touff?
Speaker 5 (02:49):
This is a photo of tattoos a mister Breo Garcia.
Much attention has been paid to his case. I think
he's in Venezuela. Can you see the photo here? Yes?
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Sorry, Ken, I have a copy of it.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Okay. Based on your time and experience and expertise in
the DEA, what does that photo or those markings suggest
to you.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
Well, they suggest that he's an MS thirteen member, that
those are his markings, that's his brand. Not only my
time at the DEA, but currently I participate.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
The start with a leaf, what's that sign of marijuana? Okay?
The next one.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Is your smiley face.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Okay, and the next one is I.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Believe that's the one. I can't. It's a little burned
out from you, sir. And then the last one's a
three backwards.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Okay, So, based on your time as a DEA agent
in the field, particularly in Mexico, these tastoos are consistent
with MS thirteen associations.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yes, sir, that's correct.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Do you know of any other set of combinations that
it suggests some other organization disrepresents with.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
This particular one, No, sir, Yet again, it's very clear
the DEA nominee is the Democrats and the media's worst nightmare.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Quote.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Based on your time as a DA agent in the field,
particularly in Mexico, these tattoos are consistent with MS thirteen
associations the DA chief nominee.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
So why did the media lie to you? Why do
they say that the picture wasn't even real, that the
president was, you know, bamboozled? Well, ABC News even in
the one hundred day interview, try to imply that the
picture wasn't real. Not only is it real, but now
we know from the man who will be in charge
of the DEA that yes, this individual is an MS
(04:44):
thirteen gang member, not some father from Maryland. And just
think about it this way. This is the man that
Democrats flew down to hang out with, hold his hand
and desperately want to bring back into the United States
of America a man that two different courts have declared
a member of a terrorist organization. So if you think
(05:06):
democrats and the media are looking out for you, just
look at this new hoax that they've already been busted on.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Did you know that, just.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Like here in the US, Israel has their own Independence
Day In case you missed it this year, Israel's Independence
Day was a few days ago on May first. But
for the people of Israel, freedom is nothing more than
a daily struggle to survive. There's no real peace, only terror,
no joy, just suffering. The Israeli government relies on the
International Fellowship of Christians and Jews for ongoing help to
(05:35):
make sure the elderly, the sick, the wounded, soldiers, and
impoverished families don't fall through the cracks. That's why your
gift to the Fellowship will provide such important life saving aid, medicine,
hearty meals, safety, and comfort. I believe that when you
bless the people of Israel, we unlock God's blessing in
our lives as well. So to show your support for
Israel's independence. You can make a life saving gift today.
(05:58):
You can call eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ.
That's eight A eight four eight eight four three two five.
You can also go online to IFCJ dot org. That's
if CJ dot org.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Next story number two.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
The tariff war with China is continuing, and it's not
just about tariffs on goods. It's also about what China
is doing to kill Americans. The Chinese Foreign Minister spokesman
is now insisting that the fetnyl crisis is in fact
the US problem, not China's, even though the drugs and
(06:35):
chemicals are coming directly from China. In an actual statement
at a press briefing, this is what the Chinese communists
had to say, quote the US, and the US alone
has the responsibility to solve it, even though they are
the drug supplier. Despite the goodwill China has shown. They
went on to say the US slap tariffs on Chinese
(06:57):
imports and blame it on This is bullying, China said,
through and through and highly damaging to dialogue and cooperation
on counter narcotics. This is exactly why the President United
States of America is sticking it to China and not
backing down. China also wasn't done with their propaganda, They said, quote.
(07:18):
The US should know that vilifying others will not hide
its failed responsibility to punish those who try to help,
will not solve any problem, and intimidation or threats are
certainly not the right way to engage with China now.
The trade representative was also responding to reports about slow
progress and the talks between US and Chinese officials about
(07:41):
curtailing China's supply of the chemicals needed for the deadly
fetnyl drug. US officials have made it clear that the
Chinese are failing to negotiate in good faith now. These
officials also said that China is quote exchanging intelligence about traffickers,
but it's proposals to resolve the fetinl crisis have been
(08:02):
quote inadequate. Also, while China might be willing to share
intel about the traffickers, it rarely, unfortunately takes serious action
against the illicit chemical manufacturers in China that they clearly
know about. This is partly because fetanyl chemicals also have
quote legitimate uses and the Chinese government is reluctant to
(08:24):
compromise the profits of their huge chemical companies, even if
it means it's killing Americans. Start putting big important people
behind bars as a signal to the whole industry or
black market, we just haven't seen. That is what one
US officials said on the record. Now, the Trump administration
has made it clear they want China to stop killing Americans.
(08:46):
They want China to aggressively prosecute those who produce and
sell fetanyl chemicals, while China is merely offering to regulate
the chemicals a little more tightly. That's at least what
they're trying to sell the public. But the reality is
talk is cheap, and China has never done anything meaningful
to shut down the chemical pipeline, is what American officials
(09:09):
have said in the Trump administration. Now, Donald Trump's first
round of twenty percent tariffs on China in February was
presented as punishment for China failing to take the fetanel
crisis seriously. China responded by saying it would do nothing
further to address the fetnyl problem until the tariffs were lifted,
basically admitting that they know that fetnah is flowing into
(09:31):
America at a record pace. American officials have also noted
that China is a member of the UN Commission on
Narcotics and Drugs, which unanimously agreed to place tighter controls
on fetnel chemicals at a March twenty twenty four meeting
in Vienna. Well guess what China has done nothing since
then at all to stop the flow of drugs into America.
(09:53):
Now pressed on the issue, Chinese officials have lately been
repeating the Chinese communist talking point that fetanyl is entirely
an American problem, even though no one disputes that most
of the chemicals come from China for fetanyl in the
entire world. Now, the biggest change in fetnyl production since
the Trump administration's term has been that China no longer
(10:15):
ships the chemicals directly to American drug dealers. Instead, it
ships the chemicals to Mexican cartels. So it's fair to
say that China is now in business with the cartels
in Mexico, and then those cartels are manufacturing the fetanyl
and then smuggling it across the US border. Fetnyl users
and traffickers in the US say there has been very
(10:37):
little reduction in the supply of the drug since China
promised to crack down on chemical producers.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Obviously they were lying.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
So if you want to know why Donald Trump is
standing firm, it is clear that he's standing firm to
protect our kids and grandkids, so many that are dying
from accidental overdose from fetanyl lace pills. At the end
of the day, the President isn't just fighting for better
deals on tariffs. He's also fighting to protect American.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Lie And finally, story number three.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
CBS News poll is out saying this, do you approve
or disapprove of the Trump Administration's program to find and
deport immigrants who were in the US illegally? Fifty six
percent of Americans say yes and forty four percent disapprove,
meaning there is a twelve point advantage for Donald Trump
(11:29):
to do exactly what he's doing and what his promise
was to get rid of illegal immigrants that have flooded
this country, which.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Brings me to three different headlines.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Eight hundred illegal aliens were rounded up in a four
day Florida ice raid. US Immigration and custom Enforcement officers
and agents teamed up with Florida State police to round
up nearly eight hundred legal aliens during what they described
as a major operation. The roundup came as part of
a multi agency immigration enforcement crackdown, and they're saying that
(12:03):
this is just the beginning. Secretary of Homeland Security Christy
Nome put it this way, saying, quote, this is a
warning to all criminal illegal aliens. We're coming for you.
Our state partners will hunt you down, arrest you, and
deport you. Florida Highway Patrol troopers teamed up with the
(12:24):
federal Task Force as part of the Operation Tidle Wave.
Nearly eight hundred arrests took place during the four days
of the targeted enforcement operation. ICE officials called it a
first of its time partnership between state and federal authorities.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Florida Governor Rond De.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Santis commenting on social media, saying Florida is leading the
nation in active cooperation with the Trump administration for immigration
enforcement and deportation operations. Bill Malusion at Fox News reported
the arrest included Colombian murderers, plural Ms thirteen and eighteenth
Street gang members, and a Russian spy wanted by Interpol.
(13:05):
This is just part of Donald Trump paying off and
what he promised would be big action by his administration.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
And that's not all. FEDS also busted.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
One hundred and fourteen illegal aliens during a raid at
a Colorado underground.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Nightclub, all caught on tape.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
More than one hundred illegal aliens busted during the raid
in Colorado Springs on Sunday morning. The operation, led by
the Drug Enforcement Administration DEA and the Rocky Mountain Division,
resulted in the arrest of one hundred and fourteen illegal aliens.
The outlet noted that authority said members of the violent
gangs trend' Ragua and MS thirteen frequented the venue. Video
(13:47):
footage from the DEA shared showing the raid and officers
swarming the building. One of them smashed a hole in
what appears to be a window where flashing blue lights
are seen inside monks. Later, a door opens and people
are seen pouring out. Many of them held their hands
up in surrender as officers confronted them and sirens began blaring.
(14:10):
Several women are also seen among the group. DEA Rocky
Mountain led the multi agency enforcement operation, along with local
and federal partners. The Department of Homeland Security has taken
more than one hundred legal aliens into custody. Drugs and
weapons were also seized at the underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
So what is the point of all this?
Speaker 4 (14:32):
The President is showing Americans that this is just the beginning,
and many state and local authorities are now more than
happy to be working with the Trump administration to get
rid of violent gang members and those that are killing
Americans with FETNO as well that they're putting onto our
streets yet again, another example of just one hundred days
in and Donald Trump, in many ways, is just getting started.
