The federal government still officially shut down. That means that
the shutdown has now entered at sixth day, it's already
tied with the fourth longest shutdown in US history, and
the scale it is large. As the humor shutdown continues.
Estimates suggests nine hundred thousand federal employees have been furloughed

and others required to work without pay. Not to be clear,
they will receive back pay when the government reopens. Many
services are paused or operating in a curtailed mode, especially
programs depend on annual appropriations, which parts of the IRS

Today, the measure, which would keep the government funded at
pre shutdown levels until November the twenty first, fell yet again,
eight votes short of the sixty needed to clear the
legislative filibuster. Democratic Senaters Mastow and Fetterman, as well as
Agnes King of Maine and an independent who caucuses with

the Democrats, continue to be the only Demomocrats backing the
measure to reopen the government. Republican Senator Ram Paul of
Kentucky remains the only member of the GOP side opposed
to the bill. Now, a handful of senators from both
sides of the al did not cast votes. Senate Minority
Leader Chuck Schumer and other Democrats had objected to the

so called clean Continuing Resolution because they claim it failed
to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire
at the end of the year. Head of the failed vote,
Trump expressed willingness to make a deal if we made
the right deal. I'd make a deal, sure, the President
told reporters in the Oval Office. And that is not all.

That's the problem with Obamacare. The subsidies are so much.

So all of this begs the question, what is the
Democrat ongoing shutdown truly about. The sad truth we believe
is that the Democrats intentionally shut down the governments and
are inflict this pain on American citizens to try and
demand free health care for legal aliens. Of course, this
is an indefensible and truly radical policy to be in

favor of, let alone to use as the primary reason
to shut down the United States government. So the Democrats
and their allies are desperately lying about their true motivations.
We have to set the record straight with the facts
so the American people understand what's really at play here.
House Republicans passed a clean and nonpartisan funding bill to

keep the government open and ensure our troops and other
hardworking Americans are paid. Every single House Democrat except one
voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill. Senate Republicans
have subsequently tried to pass this same clean funding bill
four separate times, and they will do so again tonight
to fully pass it to be sent to the President's
(05:50):
desk for signature. And the President is ready to sign
this bill to reopen the government as soon as it
is sent to his desk. Yet every single Senate Democrat
except three, have voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill.
The Democrat's current position is that the only way the
American government can reopen is if illegal aliens can get

free health care. Don't take my word for it, just
look at what's inside of the Democrats proposal to reopen
the government. Their funding proposal would result in nearly two
hundred billion dollars spent on healthcare for illegal aliens and
other non citizens over the next decade. To put this
in perspective, two hundred billion dollars is enough money to
fund the entire Children's Health Insurance Program, which provides health

insurance to low income children and women. Under the Democrats proposal,
the millions of illegal aliens who improperly were granted asylum
in paroled under the Bided administration would once again be
allowed to receive Medicaid benefits. It does not end there.
The Democrat proposal would also require Medicaid to pay more
for emergency care provided to illegal aliens than it does

for American patients who are disabled, elderly, or children. When
someone shows you who they are, believe them. The Democrat
Party has unfortunately closed our government, costing Americans their jobs,
threatening our military readiness, harming our economy, and causing chaos,
all to help the illegals who broke into our country.

analyze cellular call data for federal probes. Think of it
as link analysis that shows patterns of communication location data
as well as potential targets network of associates. This should

shock every single one of you to a core. And
these declassified records, as the FBI Director Cash Bettel is
now exposing code name Arctic Frost, was brought because of
a whistle blower disclosures to Senator Grassley and Senator Ron
Johnson that showed nearly one hundred conservative groups, including Turning

Point USA, were part of the probe. Now you have
something that's even more shocking, and that is not only
was the FBI going after conservative groups, but the FBI
was spying on senators, and some of those senators are
now fighting back. Senator Ron Johnson saying it this way
in a statement earlier, I was just briefed by the

FBI's Dan Bongino that the FBI and the Justice Department
obtained call logs from eight US senators, including myself. We
were surveilled simply for being Republicans. This does not surprise me,
but it should shock every American. Senator Johnson continued. What

the Biden administration has done is an outrageous abuse of power.
It is blatant political persecution. Those responsible must be held
fully accountable. Now you may ask yourself what is in
this actual document. The Federal Bureau of Investigation unclassified document

dated nine to twenty seven of twenty twenty three puts
it in a simple manner. The FBI special agent with
an Amory dak did conducted preliminary toll analysis on limited
tolls records associated with the following US Senators Mike Kelly,
Lindsey Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Holly, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville,

Ron Johnson, Cynthia Loomis, and Senator Marsha Blackburn. You look
at what I just explained to you, and this is
the weaponization literally of our federal government right before our eyes.
The other question is this, who were the FBI's supervisory
special agents and why are their names redacted? Who approved

the report and the surveillance of the US senators is
another question that should be asked. Markings indicate that the
FBI Washington Field Office was doing this during the Biden administration.
This this also means that there was a team involved
as well. An FBISSA manages investigative teams and approves the

reports that we now are seeing. Toll analysis, as I mentioned,
is used to analyze cellulo data and the call details
for federal probes. This is a highly revealing investigative tool.
It exploits all the patterns of the targets or the
people involved in the communication investigation, and it also is

incredibly invasive because it would look at the location data
of those senators that were being spied on now, several
of these senators decided to have a press conference that
were the targets that were spied on. Senator Grassley was
the first to speak, and I want to play it
for you. Listen to what they had to say that we.

I think emphasizes the political weaponization that was behind all

that were targeted Representative Kelly Sanatra's Graham Haggerty, Holly Sullivan, Tuberville, myself,

This member was dated September of twenty twenty three.

occurred in August of twenty twenty two. Jack Smith announced

of the Senate in the House again, I've been.

Again, none of us were subject to targets this investigation.
There's no predicate, there's no reason for this other than
efficient expedition, which again should outrage and shock every American.

an extraordinary revelation that just took place this afternoon. My
colleagues and I found out all of us Republicans by
the way that we were placed under investigation by this
FBI under the Joe Biden FBI that was led I
presume by Jack Smith and his predecessors. This isn't the

first time that it's happened, though Senator Johnson just mentioned this.
I served on the Trump transition team in Trump Tower
in twenty sixteen. Senator Blackbird was vice chair of the
Transition committee then as we're probably a dozen or more
members of Congress to think that we were all surveiled
back then by the Obama FBI. This corruption to run deep,

runs deep, and it's gone on for far too long.
And the fact that it's happened here again, the fact
that they are looking at our records in twenty twenty
three sitting members of the United States Senate. Again, the
only thing that we have in common, the only thing
that common in this entire list, is that we're all Republicans.
They've decided to come after us. This is as partisan
as it gets. The FBI and the corruption's running there

has to be cleared out. Thank god, we have Cash
Betel and Dan Bongino there. This has to be addressed,
it has to be resolved. It needs to happen today.

Biden and under Barack Obama, is that they exercised activity
that they had no authority to exercise. And as Senator
Haggardy mentioned, we know what they did in twenty sixteen

President Trump, they surveil US people who support President Trump,
members who are all Republicans.

Fox News show that Smith, in his official capacity at
the Department of Justice, as he investigated Donald Trump and
the events of January sixth, twenty twenty one, decided to
not only track the phone calls of Lindsey Graham, Marshall Blackburn,

Ron Johnson, Josh Holly, Cynthia Loomis, Bill Haggerty, Dan Sullivan,
Tommy Tuverville, but also we now have learned Republican representative
Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania. The alarming document revealing that Smith
and his Arctic Frost team had subpoena telephone providers for
the lawmakers' records in twenty twenty three was recently discovered

by Patel. Patel confirmed the legitimacy of the findings in
an ex post, writing, we recently uncovered proof that phone
records of US lawmakers were sees for political purposes. That
abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership, the FBI
will deliver truth and accountability and never again be weaponized

by this administration to make sure that these bad actors

know about abuse of power that was happening in the
Deep State and letting them know there's a safe place
to bring it. Bongino, we also know brief the impact
of the lawmakers on Monday afternoon and said that it
is a disgrace that he's having to sit there and

I have to stand on Capitol Hill and reveal this
that the FBI was once weaponized to track the private
communications of US lawmakers for political purposes. That era is over.
Several of the senators who have allegedly been spot on
not only spoke at the press conference which you just heard,

but said that they are also going to be looking
into this from a congressional standpoint. And to put it
just an overall perspective for you, Senator Holly called Smith's
actions not only an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond
j Eggar Hoover, one that directly strikes he said, at
the Constitution, the separation of powers and the First Amendment.

in charge of the FBI to root out this pure.

Sanctuary City of Chicago, they're under fire right now, as

ignore the calls for help as attackers were going after
ICE agents. The Sanctuary City of Chicago reportedly ordered its
police forced to refuse calls for help from the ICE

agents who were under siege by increasingly violent protesters in
support of criminal illegal aliens. Several police unions have now
denounced the Chicago Mayor Johnson and his police leadership for
ordering the officers on the streets to refuse to help
Immigration and Customs enforcement officers, as well as other federal

law enforcement officers, as they faced protesters, some of whom
are now used using automobiles as weapons to attack the agents.
According to the New York Posts, when ICE officers made
calls over the radio for assistance on Sunday, the Chicago
Police dispatch replied, We're not sending anybody out to that location.

It's shocking to see exactly how violent it's become in
Chicago by the anti ICE activists. They're anarchists, or you
could even call them domestic terrorists if you want to
be honest about it. It was also reported that the
Chicago police vehicles sat immobile nearby as ICE agents were

being attacked. The inaction infuriated the nation's largest national police union,
which said in a statement that it was shocked and
appolled at the Chicago Police Department's leadership's refusal to help
ICE agents who were asking for their help who were
under said. The president of the National Fraternal Order of

Police and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police blasted the
Chicago Police chief, who reportedly directed officers not to assist
the ice agents.

Details are still emerging, but it appears at officers from
the Chicago Police Department were ordered not to assist a
group of ice agents while they were being physically threatened
by what appeared to be a very angry mob. That's

Illinois FOP believe that when an officer calls for assistance
to answer no matter what. We at the National FOP,
as well as our members at the Illinois FOP, condemn
these actions and urged Chicago officials to ensure that any
law enforcement officers needing assistance is guaranteed that their brothers

and sisters in law enforcement re spawn immediately. The number
one unwritten rule in law enforcement is that we respond
to any calls from officers in distress. What would have
happened if the local police were facing threats and nearby
federal officers were told not to assist question Mark whether

enforcement officer is in trouble, nothing should stand the way
of fellow officers rendering assistance. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland

Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson and other sanctuary politicians demonize

ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement.

than a one thousand percent increase in violence directed at
the officers, many of them being targeted because local law

has doubled down on the anarchy in a city and
now has signed an executive order of quote no go
zones for ICE, and it violates not one, but two

violence in both Portland and Chicago, with Chicago's mayor today
declaring parts of his city no go zones for ICE agents.

But Brandon Johnson's new executive order is pretty amazing on
a couple of fronts because it violates two federal laws.
One of the Alien Harboring Law, which has anything to

shield illegal aliens from detection, and he specifically says that's
the purpose of it. It's also a violation of federal
obstruction because it's to impede federal agents. So the big
fun irony of his executive order is that it violates
federal law and it's also unenforceable on its terms under
the supremacy clause. So another stunt, But I don't even

think he recognizes really what the repercussions would be if
it was actually played out.

Yet again, anarchists and the Democratic Party putting American men
and women in uniforms lives at risk, knowing that ICE
agents are being attacked, and advocating and encouraging more of
it to happen in their cities, and also not caring
what the actual laws say. And this is exactly why

Donald Trump is doing what he's doing sending federal law
enforcement into cities that are out of control with radical anarchists.
Mayors just like the Portland mayor, just like Chicago's Mayor Johnson,
who is literally going to war not with the violent
criminals that have invaded his city, but going to war
with the law enforcement that are trying to protect their citizens.

and others required to work without pay. Not to be clear,
they will receive back pay when the government reopens. Many
services are paused or operating in a curtailed mode, especially
programs depend on annual appropriations, which parts of the IRS
certain grant programs, for example, and the Federal Judiciary Courts
(00:45):
has projected it can maintain operations through October seventeenth under
existing resources, and that brings us to today. A majority
of Democratic Senators rejected on Monday, the fifth of ten
by Republicans to pass a stopgap bill that would end
the government shut down, just hours after President Trump even

floated the idea of possibly making a healthcare deal with
the Democrats, but that didn't matter.

Senate voted fifty two to forty two, with sixty votes
needed to block the simple Trump Back Continuing Resolution, a
clean cr from moving forward, ensuring the government will remain unfunded.

For a seventh straight day.

Today, the measure, which would keep the government funded at
pre shutdown levels until November the twenty first, fell yet again,
eight votes short of the sixty needed to clear the
legislative filibuster. Democratic Senaters Mastow and Fetterman, as well as
Agnes King of Maine and an independent who caucuses with
(01:57):
the Democrats, continue to be the only Demomocrats backing the
measure to reopen the government. Republican Senator Ram Paul of
Kentucky remains the only member of the GOP side opposed
to the bill. Now, a handful of senators from both
sides of the al did not cast votes. Senate Minority
Leader Chuck Schumer and other Democrats had objected to the
(02:20):
so called clean Continuing Resolution because they claim it failed
to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire
at the end of the year. Head of the failed vote,
Trump expressed willingness to make a deal if we made
the right deal. I'd make a deal, sure, the President
told reporters in the Oval Office. And that is not all.

The President of the United States of America had to say,

Then the Democrat on all of this, As you know,
the inrident people are experiencing law came with any government
shutting down.

And while you're dealing with the Democrats, of course, Republicans are.

What is your message to records the American people.

Who may encounter some of this pain a year, how

lot of good things are going to happen. It's all
I can say. I mean, I think a lot of
good things could happen, and that could also pertain to healthcare.

And they could also, as he mentioned, deal with healthcare.
President Trump asked more about healthcare, and here's what he said.

And I'm talking about good things with regard to healthcare.
Are you speaking at the universal kind.

Of well, I don't want to say that.

I don't want to say that, but we are speaking
with the Democrats, and some very good things could happen
with respect to healthcare. Would you make a deal with
them on the ACA cubsidies.

If we if we made the right deal, I'd make
a deal.

Should I mean, you have right now subsidies. You have subsidies.
That's the problem with Obamacare. The subsidies are so much.
It's billions and billions of dollar is being wasted. And
we can have a much better healthcare than we have
right now.

And we're talking to them.

I mean, I'm not saying that's going to happen, because
this has also been going on, not for three thousand years,
but it's been going on for a long time.

I'd like to see a deal made for great healthcare. Yes,
I want to see great health I'm a Republican, but
I want to see healthcare much more so than the Democrats.

more so than the Democrats. The President reiterating there some
very good things could happen with respect to healthcare in
this country now. The White House Press Sayer Terry also
making it clear from the podium that this is the
Schumer shut down and what the Democrats are doing is

holding America hostage.

So all of this begs the question, what is the
Democrat ongoing shutdown truly about. The sad truth we believe
is that the Democrats intentionally shut down the governments and
are inflict this pain on American citizens to try and
demand free health care for legal aliens. Of course, this
is an indefensible and truly radical policy to be in

favor of, let alone to use as the primary reason
to shut down the United States government. So the Democrats
and their allies are desperately lying about their true motivations.
We have to set the record straight with the facts
so the American people understand what's really at play here.
House Republicans passed a clean and nonpartisan funding bill to
(05:29):
keep the government open and ensure our troops and other
hardworking Americans are paid. Every single House Democrat except one
voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill. Senate Republicans
have subsequently tried to pass this same clean funding bill
four separate times, and they will do so again tonight
to fully pass it to be sent to the President's
(05:50):
desk for signature. And the President is ready to sign
this bill to reopen the government as soon as it
is sent to his desk. Yet every single Senate Democrat
except three, have voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill.
The Democrat's current position is that the only way the
American government can reopen is if illegal aliens can get
(06:11):
free health care. Don't take my word for it, just
look at what's inside of the Democrats proposal to reopen
the government. Their funding proposal would result in nearly two
hundred billion dollars spent on healthcare for illegal aliens and
other non citizens over the next decade. To put this
in perspective, two hundred billion dollars is enough money to
fund the entire Children's Health Insurance Program, which provides health
(06:34):
insurance to low income children and women. Under the Democrats proposal,
the millions of illegal aliens who improperly were granted asylum
in paroled under the Bided administration would once again be
allowed to receive Medicaid benefits. It does not end there.
The Democrat proposal would also require Medicaid to pay more
for emergency care provided to illegal aliens than it does
(06:57):
for American patients who are disabled, elderly, or children. When
someone shows you who they are, believe them. The Democrat
Party has unfortunately closed our government, costing Americans their jobs,
threatening our military readiness, harming our economy, and causing chaos,
all to help the illegals who broke into our country.

important one. It is a fact now that the FBI
literally spied on not one, not two, not three, four, five, six, seven,
but eight GOP senators. It was called a total analysis.

That is the terminology that's used by FBI investigator to
analyze cellular call data for federal probes. Think of it
as link analysis that shows patterns of communication location data
as well as potential targets network of associates. This should

shock every single one of you to a core. And
these declassified records, as the FBI Director Cash Bettel is
now exposing code name Arctic Frost, was brought because of
a whistle blower disclosures to Senator Grassley and Senator Ron
Johnson that showed nearly one hundred conservative groups, including Turning
(08:43):
Point USA, were part of the probe. Now you have
something that's even more shocking, and that is not only
was the FBI going after conservative groups, but the FBI
was spying on senators, and some of those senators are
now fighting back. Senator Ron Johnson saying it this way
in a statement earlier, I was just briefed by the
(09:06):
FBI's Dan Bongino that the FBI and the Justice Department
obtained call logs from eight US senators, including myself. We
were surveilled simply for being Republicans. This does not surprise me,
but it should shock every American. Senator Johnson continued. What
(09:29):
the Biden administration has done is an outrageous abuse of power.
It is blatant political persecution. Those responsible must be held
fully accountable. Now you may ask yourself what is in
this actual document. The Federal Bureau of Investigation unclassified document
(09:51):
dated nine to twenty seven of twenty twenty three puts
it in a simple manner. The FBI special agent with
an Amory dak did conducted preliminary toll analysis on limited
tolls records associated with the following US Senators Mike Kelly,
Lindsey Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Holly, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville,
(10:19):
Ron Johnson, Cynthia Loomis, and Senator Marsha Blackburn. You look
at what I just explained to you, and this is
the weaponization literally of our federal government right before our eyes.
The other question is this, who were the FBI's supervisory
special agents and why are their names redacted? Who approved
(10:43):
the report and the surveillance of the US senators is
another question that should be asked. Markings indicate that the
FBI Washington Field Office was doing this during the Biden administration.
This this also means that there was a team involved
as well. An FBISSA manages investigative teams and approves the
(11:08):
reports that we now are seeing. Toll analysis, as I mentioned,
is used to analyze cellulo data and the call details
for federal probes. This is a highly revealing investigative tool.
It exploits all the patterns of the targets or the
people involved in the communication investigation, and it also is
(11:31):
incredibly invasive because it would look at the location data
of those senators that were being spied on now, several
of these senators decided to have a press conference that
were the targets that were spied on. Senator Grassley was
the first to speak, and I want to play it
for you. Listen to what they had to say that we.

Can find for the solicitation of these telephone records, which
I think emphasizes the political weaponization that was behind all
this effort. And we're still getting more information, but we've

released some records today and I'll let Senator Johnson take
over from here and then each one of you collegues

First of all, I want to thank Sander Grassley. It
is because of his relentless advocacy for whistleblowers that a
lot of this information is surfacing right now. We wouldn't
know about the list of one hundred Republican entities that
were targeted by Jack Smith Arctic Frost's investigation. I don't
think we know about this as well, So we need whistleblowers.
I think Dan Bongino and folks of the FBI they

don't know where all the records are hidden. They still don't.
They're not necessarily getting hunt scent cooperation. But this is
outrageous what has happened. I just want to give you
a timeline this. I think you've already got the the
FBI sheet that shows the number of Members of Congress
that were targeted Representative Kelly Sanatra's Graham Haggerty, Holly Sullivan, Tuberville, myself,

Santa Lummis, and Blackburny.

This member was dated September of twenty twenty three.

To put it all into context, the mar Lago raid
occurred in August of twenty twenty two. Jack Smith announced
the indictments against President Trump in August of twenty twenty three,
so this.

Is almost two months later.

They're casting this net, this fishing accident expedition against members
of the Senate in the House again, I've been.

Investigating this with Santa Grassley.

This doesn't surprise me, but it should shock every American
of what the Bide administration has done. And by the way,
this is the first time I was targeted by the
FBI under the Obama administration. The same thing happened to
both Sander Grassley and I. As part of the Foreign
Foreign Influenced Task Force, we were giving a com a

briefing to try and convince us that the Hunter Biden
laptop was no big deal, basically trying to throw us
off the track. So this is major corruption just being
revealed inside the Obama and Biden department. Justin's the FBI,
and I'll turn it over to guest Senator Haggerty, who's one.

Again, none of us were subject to targets this investigation.
There's no predicate, there's no reason for this other than
efficient expedition, which again should outrage and shock every American.

you for your leadership in making this happen. This is
an extraordinary revelation that just took place this afternoon. My
colleagues and I found out all of us Republicans by
the way that we were placed under investigation by this
FBI under the Joe Biden FBI that was led I
presume by Jack Smith and his predecessors. This isn't the

first time that it's happened, though Senator Johnson just mentioned this.
I served on the Trump transition team in Trump Tower
in twenty sixteen. Senator Blackbird was vice chair of the
Transition committee then as we're probably a dozen or more
members of Congress to think that we were all surveiled
back then by the Obama FBI. This corruption to run deep,
(15:19):
runs deep, and it's gone on for far too long.
And the fact that it's happened here again, the fact
that they are looking at our records in twenty twenty
three sitting members of the United States Senate. Again, the
only thing that we have in common, the only thing
that common in this entire list, is that we're all Republicans.
They've decided to come after us. This is as partisan
as it gets. The FBI and the corruption's running there

has to be cleared out. Thank god, we have Cash
Betel and Dan Bongino there. This has to be addressed,
it has to be resolved. It needs to happen today.

What we know is this that the FBI under Joe
Biden and under Barack Obama, is that they exercised activity
that they had no authority to exercise. And as Senator
Haggardy mentioned, we know what they did in twenty sixteen

to the Trump transition team. And now we find out
that after the mar Lago raid, after the indictment of
President Trump, they surveil US people who support President Trump,
members who are all Republicans.

But it shows you.

How out of control and rotten to the core and
politicized the FBI had become, and how they had absolutely
no problem at all whatsoever with political weaponization. We appreciate

You just heard from many of them, those that were
targeted by the FBI, as you heard Bill Haggerty say,
we are sitting members of Congress, and by the way,
we now have learned it's not just senators. There was
also a representative that had their private communications tracked by
the former Special Council Jack Smith under the Biden administration.

The FBI director Cash Bettel, also revealing files obtained by
Fox News show that Smith, in his official capacity at
the Department of Justice, as he investigated Donald Trump and
the events of January sixth, twenty twenty one, decided to
not only track the phone calls of Lindsey Graham, Marshall Blackburn,
(17:42):
Ron Johnson, Josh Holly, Cynthia Loomis, Bill Haggerty, Dan Sullivan,
Tommy Tuverville, but also we now have learned Republican representative
Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania. The alarming document revealing that Smith
and his Arctic Frost team had subpoena telephone providers for
the lawmakers' records in twenty twenty three was recently discovered
(18:07):
by Patel. Patel confirmed the legitimacy of the findings in
an ex post, writing, we recently uncovered proof that phone
records of US lawmakers were sees for political purposes. That
abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership, the FBI
will deliver truth and accountability and never again be weaponized
(18:27):
against the American people. That abuse of power ends now.
It seems to be the mantra, unfortunately, that is needed
by this administration to make sure that these bad actors
are exposed and rooted out. Finally, you also heard one
other thing that was really important that was mentioned there.
We need listle blowers. You heard that from Senator Johnson.
(18:52):
He is asking for others to come forward that may
know about abuse of power that was happening in the
Deep State and letting them know there's a safe place
to bring it. Bongino, we also know brief the impact
of the lawmakers on Monday afternoon and said that it
is a disgrace that he's having to sit there and
show what he has found. It is a disgrace that
(19:14):
I have to stand on Capitol Hill and reveal this
that the FBI was once weaponized to track the private
communications of US lawmakers for political purposes. That era is over.
Several of the senators who have allegedly been spot on
not only spoke at the press conference which you just heard,
(19:34):
but said that they are also going to be looking
into this from a congressional standpoint. And to put it
just an overall perspective for you, Senator Holly called Smith's
actions not only an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond
j Eggar Hoover, one that directly strikes he said, at
the Constitution, the separation of powers and the First Amendment.

And thank goodness, President Donald Trump has put great men
in charge of the FBI to root out this pure.

Sanctuary City of Chicago, they're under fire right now, as
they should be. Why because they reportedly ordered police to
ignore the calls for help as attackers were going after
ICE agents. The Sanctuary City of Chicago reportedly ordered its
police forced to refuse calls for help from the ICE
(20:33):
agents who were under siege by increasingly violent protesters in
support of criminal illegal aliens. Several police unions have now
denounced the Chicago Mayor Johnson and his police leadership for
ordering the officers on the streets to refuse to help
Immigration and Customs enforcement officers, as well as other federal
(20:54):
law enforcement officers, as they faced protesters, some of whom
are now used using automobiles as weapons to attack the agents.
According to the New York Posts, when ICE officers made
calls over the radio for assistance on Sunday, the Chicago
Police dispatch replied, We're not sending anybody out to that location.
(21:19):
It's shocking to see exactly how violent it's become in
Chicago by the anti ICE activists. They're anarchists, or you
could even call them domestic terrorists if you want to
be honest about it. It was also reported that the
Chicago police vehicles sat immobile nearby as ICE agents were
(21:40):
being attacked. The inaction infuriated the nation's largest national police union,
which said in a statement that it was shocked and
appolled at the Chicago Police Department's leadership's refusal to help
ICE agents who were asking for their help who were
under said. The president of the National Fraternal Order of
(22:03):
Police and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police blasted the
Chicago Police chief, who reportedly directed officers not to assist
the ice agents.

Details are still emerging, but it appears at officers from
the Chicago Police Department were ordered not to assist a
group of ice agents while they were being physically threatened
by what appeared to be a very angry mob. That's
what the National FOP president said in a statement, saying, quote,
let me be clear, both the National FOP and the

Illinois FOP believe that when an officer calls for assistance
to answer no matter what. We at the National FOP,
as well as our members at the Illinois FOP, condemn
these actions and urged Chicago officials to ensure that any
law enforcement officers needing assistance is guaranteed that their brothers

and sisters in law enforcement re spawn immediately. The number
one unwritten rule in law enforcement is that we respond
to any calls from officers in distress. What would have
happened if the local police were facing threats and nearby
federal officers were told not to assist question Mark whether

you agree about immigration enforcement or not, when a law
enforcement officer is in trouble, nothing should stand the way
of fellow officers rendering assistance. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland
Security is now blaming the increased violence that ICE is
facing into Chicago and other cities on sanctuary politicians who

are stirring insurrection to achieve their political goals. Thankfully, none
of our law enforcement was killed because of these deranged criminals,
and their attacks on law enforcement is with The Assistant
Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security said a statement
on Sunday, saying, quote, this is exactly what happens when
Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson and other sanctuary politicians demonize

ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement.

McLaughlin also pointed out that ICE has suffered a more
than a one thousand percent increase in violence directed at
the officers, many of them being targeted because local law
enforcement is looking the other way, in other words, allowing
it to happen because the order is coming down from
the local government leaders.

I got to ask you a question, are you one.

Of those that is just so tired of giving your
money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting

that's important, and that is that the Chicago Mayor Johnson
has doubled down on the anarchy in a city and
now has signed an executive order of quote no go
zones for ICE, and it violates not one, but two

The legal battle erupting after a weekend of anti ICE
violence in both Portland and Chicago, with Chicago's mayor today
declaring parts of his city no go zones for ICE agents.

The order builds a broad civic sealed that limits the
reach of harmful enforcement practices. Is strengthens neighborhood solidarity, and
it reaffirms Chicago's rule as a welcoming city. The fact
is we cannot allow them to rent paced throughout our
city with no checks or balances.

Nobody is above the law. Well, they now is.

Jonathan Jay Hay, former acting ICE Director, DHS Deputy Assistant
Secretary and federal prosecutor so Brandon Johnson is wholly against
the deployment of any federal forces in Chicago, particularly federalizing
the National Guard.

But when you look at the crime.

Statistics, if any city needs help, it's Chicago.

Yeah, You're exactly right, And normally cities would welcome federal
health that have clime problems. And you see a DC
mayor of ouser, you know, after initial reluctance, has actually
welcomed it and the city's better off, I think objectively.
But Brandon Johnson's new executive order is pretty amazing on
a couple of fronts because it violates two federal laws.
One of the Alien Harboring Law, which has anything to
(27:16):
shield illegal aliens from detection, and he specifically says that's
the purpose of it. It's also a violation of federal
obstruction because it's to impede federal agents. So the big
fun irony of his executive order is that it violates
federal law and it's also unenforceable on its terms under
the supremacy clause. So another stunt, But I don't even
(27:37):
think he recognizes really what the repercussions would be if
it was actually played out.

Yet again, anarchists and the Democratic Party putting American men
and women in uniforms lives at risk, knowing that ICE
agents are being attacked, and advocating and encouraging more of
it to happen in their cities, and also not caring
what the actual laws say. And this is exactly why

Donald Trump is doing what he's doing sending federal law
enforcement into cities that are out of control with radical anarchists.
Mayors just like the Portland mayor, just like Chicago's Mayor Johnson,
who is literally going to war not with the violent
criminals that have invaded his city, but going to war
with the law enforcement that are trying to protect their citizens.
