Speaker 1 (00:01):
We have new breaking news and it deals with former
President Joe Biden. He ignored. We're now being told the
Department of Justice's warnings over legally flawed auto pen pardons.
Senior Justice Department officials were left scrambling to quote interpret
the sweeping clemency orders former President Joe Biden approved for
(00:25):
thousands of federal convicts in his final days and final
hours in office, and they chastised the White House for
falsely portraying the releases as limited to quote nonviolent offenders. This,
according to internal emails, have now been revealed. The records
(00:47):
obtained by the Oversight Project and reviewed by The Washington
Examiner now reveal that former Associate Deputy Attorney General, the
Department's top career official the time, Bradley Weinsheimer, raised alarms
immediately after Biden issued three auto pen sign warrants on
(01:09):
January seventeenth, covering nearly two thousand, five hundred inmates were
now learning. In a January eighteenth message to the White
House Council and the Department of Justice Office of the
Partner Attorney, Weinsheimer wrote that one warrant granted clemency for
(01:31):
offenses described to the Department of justice was so vague
it could not be lawfully even carried out quote unquote.
He went on to say, at the time, I think
the language is highly problematic, adding that to interpret the
document properly, we will need a statement or direction from
(01:54):
President Biden. He also suggested that Biden provide quote a
list as to each inmate listing the offenses that are
covered by the commutation, which he described as the clearest
and least problematic alternative. Moving forward, Weinsheimer and Biden needed
(02:15):
to clarify the meaning of the warrant language quote unquote,
so the DOJ could implement it in the manner intended
they claim by President Joe Biden. Here is an exact
quote from the email. It said this, Given the above,
I think it is best that we receive a direct
statement on direction from President Biden as to the meaning
(02:39):
of the warrant language. This will then allow us to
give full effect to the commutation, warrant, and the manner
intended by the President. In the absence of such a
statement or direction, I am concerned option three above will
be the interpretation that is given to the warrant. While
that is a logical construction, legally it can't possibly be
(03:03):
what the President intended, so I would like to avoid
that outcome. One other important note the email says, in
communication about the commutations, the White House has described those
who receive commutations as people convicted of nonviolent drug offenses.
I think you should stop saying that because it is
(03:26):
untrue or at least misleading. As you know, even with
the exceedingly limited review we were permitted to do of
the individuals we believe you might be considering for commutation action,
we initially identified nineteen that were quote highly problematic. That
(03:48):
was based only upon running our initial priority list against
the list of those who had submitted clemency petitions, a
small percentage of the overall total from the White House.
Even in that number, we identified violent offenders, including those
who committed acts of violence during the offense. Now, this
(04:11):
is a screenshot of a much longer email exchange that
came from Weinsheimer on January eighteenth. This email was directly
warning the Biden White House that its language about clemency
subjects was quote untrue or at least misleading. Weinsheimer also
warned the ambiguous order could unintentionally wipe away convictions for
(04:36):
many violent felons. He pushed back against the White House,
messaging that the clemency recipients were only nonviolent drug offenders.
That's not true. Among them, for example, was Russell Macintosh.
Now this is not someone you would ever describe as
a quote nonviolent drug offender. How do we know this?
(04:58):
Russell kill woman and her two year old child to
protect his drug business. Stephen Fowler, whose enforcer tortured an
informant with a but tane torch, and Plays Anderson, a
gangster's disciple member, was implicated in multiple murders and multiple kidnappings.
(05:24):
This according to a commutation's receipt page from the Department
of Justice. Now all of the people I just named
those are not nonviolent drug offenders, as the White House claimed.
And despite these warnings, the White House released a statement
in Biden's name touting the mass commutations as relief for
(05:44):
quote non violent drug offenses and saying it was the
largest clemency action in US history that we apparently were
supposed to celebrate it well. In July, in the interview
with The New York Time, I want to remind you,
Biden insisted he personally made all clemency decisions, calling Republican
(06:07):
claims that AIDS misused the autopen ridiculous and quote false.
Now I'm at scrutiny of his aide's use of the
automated signature device to place his name on the pardon documents.
Biden said he approved broad categories of inmates and left
staff to apply those standards, defending using an autopen as
(06:32):
a practical tool to process the sheer volume of cases. However,
the DOJ emails illustrated that inside of Biden's administration, officials
were at least at the very least very uncertain about
what Biden was actually ordering them to do, and were
(06:54):
forced to openly challenge the accuracy of the White House's
public explanation about what they were executing. Now, Weinsheimer previously
accused of loyalty to biden administration. He has had warnings,
by the way, are notable. Why because given his long
reputation as quote a non political DOJ official a career
(07:19):
ethics lawyer, he was previously accused, in fact by Republicans
of playing it behind the scenes role in shaping what
critics derived as Hunter Biden's sweetheart plea deal. While his
father was the President of the United States, of America,
So you need to know that to put it in perspective.
In fact, according to multiple reports, Weinsheimer met directly with
(07:43):
the first son Hunter Biden's defence counsel in twenty twenty three.
This is a move that raised questions about whether the
DOJ's leadership was actually undermining former US Attorney David Weiss's
purported independent in that entire case, his career at the
DOJ ended with a partisan dispute. In February, shortly after
(08:07):
Donald Trump returned to office, the administration reassigned him to
a new sanctuary city's task force. Rather than accept the
politically charge assignment, Weinsheimer accepted a federal employee buyout, part
of a broader wave of career officials who resisted what
they viewed as attempts they claimed to politicize the DOJ's
(08:28):
work altogether. So if you look at exactly what we
now know, it is clear that there were efforts that
are happening right now to recover additional records related to
the oversights projects, pursuit of the internal DOJ emails to
the White House, and that is ongoing, and also the
(08:49):
email exchange that we just mentioned. It was revealed on Tuesday,
we now know was released by the Office of Ed Martin,
that is Trump's appointees serving as the US part Attorney
and head of the DOJ anti Weaponization Group. As the
White House claimed in the final days in office. I
want to talk to you about my friends at Kirk
(09:11):
Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago, I got my new
order of silver. Now I'm investing in silver right now
because the pricing on it is amazing and the upside well,
it's real. I actually have a one hundred ounce silver bar.
It is actually really cool. It's really heavy because it's
one hundred ounces. But I also know that I bought
(09:34):
it at the right price and I wasn't paying massive
up charges on quote. Rare are special coins, and then
when you go to sell them, you take away all
of your earning potential. Why do they do it this
way at Kurt Elliot because they have transparent pricing up front.
It's very simple. You pay eight percent when you buy,
(09:54):
and here's what matters to you the most, nothing when
you sell. There are no and fees. Ever with Kurt
Elliott Precious Metals. This is the reason why I recommend them.
It's not just about investing. It's about making sure you
get more for your money. And that is exactly why
Kurt Elliott helps people all the time. Whether it's gold

of it, you can pass it on to future generations,
and you can build wealth with it. It's real bullion,
never gimmicks, just investment grade gold and silver. No overpriced coins,
no flashy markups. And it's a company that I love
because they are a faith driven company. There's no pressure,
(10:40):
just honest care. They treat every client like family, offering
honest answers up front to help you make wise informed decisions. Now.

(11:25):
I want to take you back to oh what a
week and a half ago, when the President of United
States of America announced he was going to federalize law
enforcement in Washington, d C, take charge and fight crime.
What did the left in the media say, Well, I
can tell you because I was on TV that night
on CNN, and they said the president all this was
(11:45):
was him being a narcissist, a dictator, and this is
all about Donald Trump wanting to be in charge. And
I asked the question, why is it you guys hate
Donald Trump so much to the point where you won't
even advocate for and fighting crime when people are dying
in Washington, d C. They then said Donald Trump doesn't
(12:05):
know how to fight crime, and that this is all
for the cameras. It's all theatrics. That he wasn't actually
going to fight crime in high crime areas in Washington,
d C. He was just going to put him around
the National Mall. Well guess what that was also a lie?
How do we know it? Take a list in the
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt is she explains exactly
(12:29):
what's happened. In just over a week of data they've
now received.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
President Trump's efforts to make DC safe again are working.
There have been a total of four hundred and sixty
five arrests since the start of this operation on Thursday,
August seventh, last night, there were a total of fifty
two arrests, including the arrest of an illegal alien MS
thirteen gang member with convictions for DWI and drug possession.
(12:56):
Thanks to President Trump's leadership in the outstanding work of
both federal and local law enforcement, dangerous gang members like
the one picked up last night will not be allowed
on the streets of our nation's capital. Other arrests last
night included assault with a deadly weapon for stabbing, parole
violation for robbery murder, outstanding warrant for attempted murder, assault
(13:18):
on federal law enforcement officer, and felony assault. Four more
homeless encampments were also removed during yesterday's reporting period. To date,
a total of forty eight homeless encampments have been cleared
in Washington, d C. By multi agency teams. MPD patrol
units are actively working with city officials to locate in
clear additional encampments and remove homeless residents off of Washington streets.
(13:42):
And despite fake narratives from the media, again, a significant
number of the arrests have been in high crime areas
of DC. In fact, nearly half of all of the
non illegal alien related arrests have occurred in Wards seven
and eight, the two wards that have the highest number
of violent cres t as well as homicides and assaults
(14:02):
with dangerous weapons last year. So while Democrats continue to
caudle violent criminals, President Trump and this administration are focused
on putting them behind bars and unapologetically standing up for
the safety of law abiding American citizens. And the White
House will continue to provide all of you with the
results of this operation in the days ahead.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
You listen to what she said, they went into the
most violent neighborhoods to protect the least among us. You also,
and if you listen to Democratic Party, they're obsessed with
Black Lives matter. If I remember correctly, they even painted
a street with Black Lives Matter on it, the mayor
(14:43):
of DC making sure it was headed straight to the
White House. And so why wouldn't you advocate for more
law enforcement? Now the liberal media narrative has been well, actually,
things are incredibly safe in DC. They's so much better
than they were when they they had a quote bad
year in twenty twenty three. When we now know that
(15:05):
there may be massive lives have been told to us
in twenty twenty four and twenty twenty five. What am
I talking about? Insert the DC police union chairman who's
now exposing saying there's a very good chance, based on
what they've seen, that the numbers were deliberately manipulated to
make crime look like it was lower than it actually
(15:28):
was in DC. Another Democrat cover up, caring more about
faking the numbers than fighting crime. Listen to what the
DC union police chairman had to say on Fox News Channel.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Can you confirm for us that there have been police
officers and detectives and members of law enforcement in DC
who on the scene of crimes have been told don't
write that one down, or don't at don't add that
to the list, or put that down as a more
minor effect.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Absolutely.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
That's one of the chief complaints of our members when
we go around and talk to them, is that they
respond to the scenes of these violent crimes, and inevitably
you'll have a captain or a commander or sometimes a
lieutenant show up on the scene and advise them to
take a report for a lesser offense. One of the
things that we see them do often is Sometimes they'll
be a shooting or a stabbing, and if the victim
(16:22):
is uncooperative with the police, which is not uncommon in
some areas of the city, they'll be directed to take
an injured person to the hospital report, which is not
even a crime at all, it's an incident report. Sometimes
you'll have a robbery, it'll be reported as a theft.
Other times you'll have burglaries that are reported as unlawful
entry or thefts. This is something that's been unfortunately part
(16:43):
and parcel of the police department for some time, and
we're very skeptical that these crime stats are accurate.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
That's extraordinary. What is the motivation? Why are these commanders
or higher ups arriving on the scene during apprehensions and
telling police officers to indicate something other than what actually
happened at the scene.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
Well, the only explanation you give be to keep the
crime stats down because politically that's expedient for the police
department and elected officials in the district.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
I mean, let's go back to how we got here.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
Which is that in twenty twenty, the DC City Council
passed the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Act, which was
a sweeping piece of legislation designed to hamstring police officers,
to reduce the size, scope, and responsibilities of police officers.
In addition, it also prevented us from holding criminals accountable
even when they're convicted of crimes. And so now here
we are five years later, the police department, with an
(17:35):
authorized strength of four thousand sworn members, we only have
three thy one and eighty, leaving us with over eight
hundred vacancies for the position a police officer. And in
order to make up for that gap, the police department
uses two million hours of mandatory overtime to cover the
demand for police officers. And so because of that, crime
has skyrocketed in the district. And one of the things
(17:56):
that we think is going on in the police department,
which who knows how high up that those directives are
coming from, is to make sure that these crime stats
are reported in the most favorable way possible.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
I mean, what you're saying obviously substantiates what we heard
from President Trump. He said they were opening investigation and
that he didn't believe because what happened. I don't have
to tell you I'm speaking to the audience at large,
But when President Trump said he wanted to bring a
national guard. All we heard from many quarters in the
media and in leadership in Washington was this is ridiculous.
(18:27):
Our numbers are lower than they've been in a long
time in Washington, DC. We don't need national guard presence
on our streets. I mean, this sounds very, very egregious.
This is lying to the people at the constituents of Washington,
d C. And lying to the federal government about what
your numbers really are.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
Well, you're right, Martha, it is a crime under DC Code.
It would be false swearing and it would be false reporting,
and those are statutes in the DC Code that make
it illegal to do that, to false by police reports
or to change the data. So if the DOJ is
in fact investigating, I hope they do, and if they
find that somebody was intentionally manipulating the data, they should
be held accountable. It's a crime in the District of Columbia,
(19:06):
and frankly, it's a disservice to the police department, it's
a disservice to the city, and most of all, it's
a diservice to the victims whose police reports are not
being properly handled. And we're not dedicating the proper resources
to the crimes that they've been victims of. So something
needs to change here, and this is an important issue.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
So let's just go over the DC crime stats. Now,
DC crime since the announcement of federal control versus the
seven day prior numbers, forty six percent is how much
they are down when it comes to robberies, six percent
down when it comes to carjacking, eighty three percent down
for car theft, twenty one percent, violent crime, twenty two
(19:47):
percent down, property crime six percent of all crimes. This
is unbelievable. And now the Justice Department is investigating whether
the DC police deliberately manipulated crime data. The police chief
also saying this about DC crime under the Democrats to
(20:07):
the Republicans, the criminal.
Speaker 5 (20:09):
Justice system here in the District of Columbia is broken.
Every aspect of it is broken, whether that's policing, prosecution,
judges and trials, sentencing and supervision, all of it is broken.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
And you can.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
Trace every aspect of it back to a piece of
legislation that was passed by the council. They have destroyed policing,
they have destroyed prosecutions, they have destroyed the way that
the courts are allowed to operate, and they've destroyed our
ability to sentence criminals to sentences that are commensurate with
the crimes they've committed. And so the only way to
fix this holistically is to go back and look at
all of this legislation that the Council passed it back
(20:43):
in twenty twenty when there was all of this anti
police rhetoric, and work to undo that.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
So just remember this, remember what the Democratic Party is doing.
They're not actually trying to fight crime. They just went
Donald Trump to be a failure, even if it means
Americans dying. We've got a major story that we've got
to talk about, and I've got all the information you're
gonna need, and it deals with Vladimir Putin, Ukraine, Zelensky
(21:10):
and Donald Trump. As you know, the summit took place
on August the fifteenth and Anchorage, Alaska, and officials present,
including Marco Ruvio and many of the envoy on the
US side, said that there was real progress that was made.
Democrats in the media, of course, using the Sunday morning
shows to lie to the American people. We also now
(21:32):
know through sources the territorial proposals have been floated. In fact, quote,
a potential peace framework is emerging. Putin reportedly offered to
withdraw from small areas in southern Sumi and other areas
in exchange for larger concessions from Ukraine. However, the ideas
(21:52):
remain controversial and unresolved. Notably, Russia wants Ukraine to renounce
NATO membership, partially live sanctions, and acknowledge Russian sovereignty over CRIMEA.
Ukraine firmly rejecting these conditions publicly today. But then there's
where are we actually compared to the posturing in public. Well,
(22:14):
one of the things we are learning about is security guarantees.
In a notable development, Putin apparently agreed to allow the
US and Europe to offer Ukraine NATO's style quote unquote
security guarantees ach into Article five protections. That is a
historic shift in Russia's posture. Now, there is no agreement yet.
(22:37):
Despite Donald Trump calling the talks productive and the media
is saying they're a failure, this seems to be working
towards a real formal agreement, and both sides are acknowledging
that major points will have to be discussed, but they're
willing to do it. Now I'm going to tell you
what Marco Rubio had to say the Secretary of State
(22:57):
in his interview on Face the Nation. But I want
to talk to you about my friends over at Patriot Mobile.
You've got a lot of choices for cell phone service,
with new ones popping up all the time. But if
you want to make a difference and you want to
stop giving your money to liberal companies, well, one way
you can do that is by getting rid of Liberal
(23:17):
Mobile you probably have right now. That is where hundreds
of thousands of Americans are now coming together and have
made Patriot Mobile what they are today. They've been in
service now for thirteen years, and right now is the
best time ever to switch, because it's never been easier. Now,
before I tell you about that, I want you to
know why switching is so important. Because every time you
(23:41):
make a call, every time you send a text, and
every time that you pay your bill, you're actually standing
up for the values you believe in your First and
your Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children, and
you stand with our military, our veterans, are wounded warriors,
and our fallen soldier families. Because Patriot Mobile takes about
five percent your bill every month at no extra cost
(24:02):
to you, and they give it back to these organizations
that fight for our values. Now, let's talk about switching.
It has never been easier. You can keep your same number,
keep your same phone, or upgrade. Patriot Mobile's got a
one hundred percent US based customer service team and literally
they can now with technology, get you activated in minutes
from the comfort of your home or your office. You're
(24:25):
second contractor owe money on your phones, no worries. Patriot
Mobile has a contract buyout program and this is how
we win, folks by aligning our spinning with our values.
Every dollar we spend matters. Now, let me also give
you a free month of service. Go to Patriotmobile dot
com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson,
(24:49):
or you can call them nine to seven to two
Patriot use the promo code ferguson and you're gonna get
one month free service by switching today. So again, Patriot
Mobile dot com slash ferguson. Use the promo could ferguson.
You'll get a free month of service today Patriotmobile dot
com slash ferguson or nine to seven to patriot. All right,
(25:09):
I want you to hear what Marco Rubio had to say.
He was on face the nation Democrats saying that Donald
Trump got played by Vladimir Putin. It's absurd. They weren't
in the room. No he didn't, But there's nothing to
say that that's actually what happened. Now. Of course, the
media is running with it because that's what Democrats are saying,
(25:29):
and why because they would rather score political points against
is Trump then stop the senseless killing between Russia and Ukraine,
with the innocent children and women and seniors and men
and women in general that are being forced to fight
in this war. I want you to hear the Secretary
of Saint Rubio on Ukraine and what he says. This
(25:50):
meeting with Zelenski is going to really look like.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
This Weekley, If if Vladimir Putin is going to be
offered land that he has not seized yet but negotiates
his way into, doesn't this set a dangerous precedent that
the United States now accepts this concept that it is
okay to seize land by force.
Speaker 7 (26:14):
Well, Putin's already sees land by force, and that in
and of itself is not a positive precedent.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
This whole war. A you're demanding withdrawal or precedent.
Speaker 7 (26:23):
Well, again, here's the in order to have a deal
here to in to reach the end of this conflict,
both sides are going to have to make concessions. That's
just a fact. Any negotiation, no, no, but if But this
is not about accepting. This is about what Ukraine can
accept and what Russia can accept. They both have to
accept it, otherwise there won't be a peace deal. Okay,
if there aren't concessions, If one side gets everything they want,
(26:45):
that's called surrender. That's called the end of the war
through surrender, and not what we're close to doing anything
close to it. So in order for there to be
a peace deal, this is just a fact.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Like it.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
It may not, it may may meet this taste.
Speaker 7 (26:56):
But in order for there to be an end of
the war, there are things Russia wants that it can
cannot get, and there are things Ukraine wants that it's
not going to get. Both sides are gonna have to
give up something in order to get to the table
in order to make this happen.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
That's just the way it is.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
And I mean, the sooner we accept that that's the
reality now what those things are, it's gonna be up
to both sides. There's no conditions that can be imposed
on Ukraine. They're gonna have to accept things, but they're
gonna have to get things too. And so, for example,
Ukraine is a sovereign country. They have a right like
every sovereign country does in the world, to have the
enter into security alliances with other countries to prevent an
(27:30):
invasion in the future, to prevent threats to the national security.
That's not an unreasonable request. That's something needs to be
worked on. Territories will have to be discussed. It's just
a fact. And there are things that maybe Russia's holding
now that they're gonna have to give up, who knows.
The point is we need to create a scenario where
that becomes possible. And that's why this has been so hard,
because neither side up to now has been willing to
(27:52):
give on some of these things.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
But we'll see if that's possible.
Speaker 7 (27:55):
It may not be, but we're gonna try, and we're
gonna do everything we can to try to achieve a peace.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
Now, think about what Karubio just said there. He says
we're moving towards peace. Why would anyone want a root
against that? Why would you want to root against President
Donald Trump if he is able to get these parties
to the table, which by the way, is exactly what
he's moving towards right now, getting closer than anybody else has,
and he now has at least a framework. And that
(28:22):
is part of what Marco Rubio also said on Face
the Nation, reminding the host we are moving forward, whether
you like it or.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
Not, asking about the security that you just mentioned there,
because Italy's Prime minister says that President Trump provide the
idea of security guarantees inspired by NATO's Article five and
a collective security clause that would involve the United States.
How does that work? Are these US troops that we're
(28:50):
going to monitors.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Well, that's what we're going to be working on. That's why.
Speaker 7 (28:54):
That's one of the reasons why you know, I talked
yesterday to all the national security advisors and a bunch
of them from the different European countries or European leaders
coming here tomorrow, heads of state coming tomorrow along with
President Zelensky to discuss this in more detail. I mean,
the constructs of something like this needs to be built.
Out A concept is one thing. The reality you know,
how it's built and how it would work is another.
(29:14):
But those are the kinds of talks that we're going
to be having with them, along with some of the
other issues that are at play. But that is one
of the if you were to break this thing down.
I mean, there are obviously there needs to be an
agreement on territories and where the lines are going to
be drawn.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
That's not going to be very easy. That's going to
be tough.
Speaker 7 (29:29):
I think there has to be some discussion about security
guarantees for Ukraine because they don't want this war. None
of us want to see this war in the future.
They're a sovereign country. They have a right to have
security agreements with other countries and security alliances with other countries.
And then there's the whole issue in construction. How do
you rebuild the country? Well, potentially, like I said, that's
what we're going to be having a conversation about, and
(29:50):
that's what we're going to be meeting. That's why they're
all coming here tomorrow, and that's why we've been talking
on the phone for the last forty eight hours.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
With them and even leading up to it. Throughout the week, there.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
Were various meetings just to sort of filled out some
of these ideas. So all of these right now are ideas.
There are concepts that require some more specificity. Will need
to work with our partners to see what that looks like.
And I think that's an area where potential progress is real.
But that alone won't be enough. There's a bunch of
other things that have to be worked through.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Here we're gonna be working right. Notice how he's like,
we have things to work through. There's no way everything
could be agreed to to stop a multi year war
in a three hour time span when only one of
the two parties is in the room with President Trump.
You think about their definition of success. It was an
immediate end of the war, a ceasefire immediately when Donald
(30:35):
Trump walked down of that meeting in Alaska. That was
never gonna happen. Everyone knows that was never gonna happen.
There are concessions that may need to be made. There
are security guarantees that need to be made. And this
goes back to how much the media hates Donald Trump.
They would rather him fail then stop the senseless killing
(30:56):
around the world. Now here's something else. That also center,
Rubio said that it's important listen carefully.
Speaker 7 (31:04):
If not, it's just called surrender. And neither side is
going to surrender, So both sides are going to have
to make concessions.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
So, of course concessions were asked.
Speaker 7 (31:11):
But what utility would there be of me going on
a program and tell you we've wagged our finger at
Putin and told them you must do this and you
must do that. It's only gonna make it harder and
less likely that they're going to agree to these things.
So these negotiations, as much as everyone would love it
to be a live, pay per view event, these discussions
only work best when they are conducted privately. In negotiating
(31:32):
serious negotiations in which people who have to go back
and respond to constituencies, because even dolitarian governments have constituencies
they have to respond to.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
People have to go back and defend.
Speaker 7 (31:44):
These agreements that they make and so and figure out
a way to explain them to people. So we need
to create space for concessions to be made. But of
course concessions were asked.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Of course concessions were asked. We work and do these
discussions in private. Isn't it amazing how the media they
believe they're so important that they should be in the
middle of negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, the EU, and the
United States of America. Ultimately, the President of the United
States of America, Donald Trump, knows one thing. This piece
(32:15):
deal is not going to be done without Vladimir Putin
agreeing to it and also Zelensky agreeing to it. So
the question is coming out of this meeting at the
White House, the one on one was Zelensky and then
the meeting with all of the world leaders, what was
Zolensky's mindset? Does he want peace or does he want
(32:36):
this three plus year war to continue. I want you
to listen to Zolensky in his own words at the
White House. This is at the very end of the
day after the meetings had taken place, and here is
what he said to close it all out.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
I can speak without my perform.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (32:57):
I think that we had a very good conversation with President,
very good and it really was the best one or sorry,
maybe the best one will be in the future, but
it was really good and we spoke about very sensitive points.
The first one is security guarantees and We are very
happy with President that all the leaders are here, and
(33:18):
the security in Ukraine depends on the United States and
on you and on those leaders who are with us
in our hearts. They have been online before yesterday and etc.
So a lot of countries on the side of Ukraine,
our people and all of us want to finish this word,
stop Supprussian and stop this war. We spoke about it
(33:40):
and we will speak more about security guarantees. This is
very important that the United States gives such strong signal
and is ready for security guarantees. The second point, or
maybe the first humanitarian direction were important to change all
the prisoners, and I think that President will help. And
I was very said to your wife again, mister President,
(34:03):
for the letter about our abductive children, and I hope
that really it can be historic role for the people
to bring kids back to the families and be happy
the people. This is so so important and I'm happy
(34:23):
that we discussed it.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
This tracked with the President Trump, and I hope that.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
We will find decisions and then what is very important
that all the sensitive things territorial and et cetera week
we will discuss on the level of leaders during trilateral
meeting and President Trump will try to organize such meeting,
and he said that he will come or not come.
(34:51):
Ukraine will be happy.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
If if you, if you, if you will will be there,
will be there.
Speaker 8 (34:55):
Yeah, thank you, and I think this is very important. Yeah,
so security guarantees, bring kids back and all our people
not only warriors first of all warriors and all the civilians, journalists,
a lot of people in prison, so we need them
back and guarantees which will work for the years. We
(35:17):
spoke about it and I showed the President a lot
of details on the battlefield on the map. Thank you
so much.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Thank you for the.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Map, by the way, it was great.
Speaker 8 (35:28):
I'm thinking how to take it back.
Speaker 9 (35:31):
We'll get you.
Speaker 8 (35:32):
No. I think that we had constructive, specific meeting and
I'm very thankful to all the all the leaders who
are here and you help a lot, and so we're
happy that we have such a big unity today.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Thank you, mister, Thank you very much.
Speaker 9 (35:51):
I think you'll say that President really would like to
do something else. I think when we set that up,
when we do, I think it's going to be when
if I think you're going to see some very really
positive moves.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
There's a couple takeaways from what you just heard. Number one,
the media. They hate that President Trump is bringing these
two countries closer to a piece agreement. They hate that
they cannot continue to lie to you claiming that Vadimir
Putin played Donald Trump. They hate the fact that Donald
Trump is respected by all of these world leaders who
(36:27):
are saying to him, thank you, and we've never been
closer in the last three years. And they would rather
Donald Trump be a failure the Democratic Party and the
media then stop the killing of so many people in
Ukraine and in Russia. Let that sink in. That is
what President Trump is up against, and that's what many
(36:49):
conservatives are up against every single day by the people
in our media and the Democratic Party in America. Right now,
during a day full of crunch peace talks with leaders
in the United Kingdom, the European Union, NATO, and Ukraine,
it wasn't isolated from direct contact with Russia. Again, this
goes back to the media lying to us. President Trump
(37:13):
broke off. We are now being told to personally call
Moscow to arrange a bilateral meeting between Putin and Zelensky,
and ultimately the goal is to set up a three
way meeting in which he will act as a mediator
for a final peace agreement. Now, before the breakthrough by
(37:34):
the President on Monday afternoon, you have to understand the
Kremlin had been going nuts and saying that they would
not agree to any face to face talks. Was Olenski
opting only to negotiate through the Trump and the White House.
The President, writing on true Social quote, at the conclusion
(37:54):
of the meetings, I called President Putin and began the
arrangements for a meeting at a location to be determined
between President Putin and President Zelenski. After that meeting takes place,
we will have a trilateral meeting, which would be the
two presidents plus myself. Again, this is a very good
early step for a war that's been going on for
(38:15):
almost four years. President United States of America made it
clear that he was going to be a president of peace.
He wanted to broker these types of deals if he
was elected. He wanted to move forward to make sure
that this was something that could happen and it could
be real, something that Joe Biden could never get. And
that is exactly why I voted for him, and I
(38:36):
hope you did as well. Don't forget share this podcast.
Please with your family and your friends wherever they are,
and I will see you back here tomorrow
