and also in Australia. Radicalized individuals connected to terrorist organizations
in Australia decided they were going to kill people for
one reason, because they were Jewish. We know a lot

because they're Jewish. We now know the death toll has risen.

community was directly targeted. According to the latest coming out
of Australia, this area by the sea had about one
thousand people at an event was scheduled to take place
near a children's playground from five pm on and have
begun when the attack began at the iconic beach location.

The state Premier Chris Mens confirmed twelve individuals killed the attack.
One offender has also been killed and another is in custody.
He says the attack was designated to target Sydney's Jewish community.

He added there were well over one thousand people in
attendance tonight is what the police commissioner said. They were
doing one thing, celebrating a Jewish holiday. Two State Police

It was also confirmed late on Sunday evening that a
number of suspicious items had been found near the bridge
where the gunmen fired their rounds, including an improvise explosive
device and ied. The ID was removed by a bomb

pm local time there, police called it what they described
a developing incident, urging people to avoid the area altogether,
saying quote, anyone at the scene should take shelter. Police
are on the scene and more information will be provided

The heroic bystander, unarmed, tackled and disarmed a terrorist gunman

own safety. He literally ran towards danger, not away from it.
He tackled one of the two terrorist gummen during that
mass shooting Sunday in which so many were murdered and
so many more were shot. Video of the scene shows

and parking lot, holding a shotgun and firing randomly into
the distance of the Jewish holiday event. The bystander, who
is crouching unarmed behind a parked car, rushed towards the
shooter As he fires, he leaps on to the terrace

a shotgun at him as the gunman backs away. The
bystander then gently plays the shotgun against a tree and

on Jews who went to light the first candle of
Hanukkah on Bondi Beach in a speech at an event
in Jerusalem. We also now know that he called on
Australia to fight against the enormous wave of anti Semitism

lawmakers were quick to both condemn the attack and warn
of what the future holds. One of their sentators there,
the founder and Leader of One Nation, led the way, saying,
quote today is an extremely dark day for our nation,

target of this terrorist attack. The Prime Minister never heeded
the warning signs, including the weekly anti Semitic protests across
our nation. Hate speech from certain religious clerics are obnoxious,

right to live in peace and harmony as all Australians.
Authorities must be honest when revealing the identities and backgrounds
of these murderers. I could not agree more about exactly
what I read there from Senator Pauline Hansen. You put

all this in perspective and I just got to be
honest with you. This was something that was clearly avoidable.
This is something that this Prime Minister as it was
described perfectly, had been warned about, and what happened political
correctness has now cost the lives of countless individuals, and

over the weekend at Brown University, I do want to
just pause and take a moment for you to understand
exactly what Democrats are now doing after the shooting that
happened at Brown and also what just happened in Australia.

listen carefully to what he had to say about gun

how democrats immediately go to not blaming the person or

Instead they do one thing, They blame the gun. Always

we don't know anything about it yet except a man

said that she's now because she's there, lived through her
second school shooting, because she grew up in Florida and

Congress passed a Safer Communities Act on a bipartisan basis
that created many things that would address all the issues
of which she speaks. Now, if she's going to say,
wait a second, we need gun control laws, there is
the also shooting we just occurred in Australia in which

there are gun control laws, and yet this still occurred. Again,
we don't know the facts of this, but in the
Avaldi shooting, we addressed not just mental illness, but also
background checks, also the girl friend loophole, other things that
would attempt to address this. And I would argue that

if the facts are known, you will see the Congress
has acted.

Senator Murphy was just on here, and I know you
voted for that legislation that you just let me just.

Hit pause here. You notice how fast they go to
push their agenda, their political agenda. That political agenda is
there's a shooting, and immediately we scream we must have
gun control. Right, everything is about gun control. We don't
care about the facts, we don't care about what guns

were used, we don't care about anything, just gun control.
I look at this and it is incredibly frustrating. Democrats
have also gone to another low. They're now actually blaming
Donald Trump for the shooting at Brown University. You had

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy going on CNN State of the
Union and said the Brown University shooting was a result
to President Donald Trump's dizzying campaign to increase violence in
this country. Murphy said, if you look at states like Connecticut,
Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California that have, as he described it,

stronger laws, we have gun violence rates, murder rates, mass
shooting rates that are two to three four times lower
than states that have loose gun laws. And many of
the weapons that are used in our states for gun
crimes come from our states, from those states that have
the ability for criminals and people with serious mental illness
(12:45):
to buy weapons. By the way, that's just a flat
out lie. He went on to say, So, what we
know is that stronger laws do work. Since we passed
the bill in twenty twenty two, the first bill in
thirty years at strengthens and nones gun laws. Gun violence
rates and mass shooting rates have come down in this country.
By the way, just out of curiosity, I would ask

Senator Murphy then, explain to me the violently high crime
rates in cities that have intense gun laws, like Chicago,
New York, Washington, d C. They have what he describes
these amazing gun laws, and they have out of control
violent crime. He is saying it's time to restore, as
(13:29):
he describes it, and again, this blows my mind gun
control laws that protect all of us, he said. Instead,
what is shocking his President Trump has been engaged in
a dizzy campaign to increase violence in this country. He
is restoring the rights of felons and people who have
lost their ability to buy guns. He eliminated the White

House Office of Gun Violence Protection, and he has stopped
fundamental health grants and community anti violence gun grants. The
Republicans and Democrats supporting the twenty twenty two bill. So
he's been engaged in a pretty deliberate campaign to try
to make violence more likely in this country. I think
you're unfortunately going to see the results of that on
the streets of America. Now, let's also be clear, this

is the same president that is lowering crime to some
of the lowest levels I've seen in my lifetime my
hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This is the same president that's
lowered gun crimes and violent crime in Washington, d C.
To an incredibly low level, lower than it's ever been
since two thousand and two, and they believe it's going

to continue to go lower. So when you look at
the claims compared to reality, they are completely out of touch,
completely clueless, and have no idea what is actually being done.
That is the part that I think is the most shocked.

They have no clue, They have no idea what is happening.
They just want to blame Donald Trump. Are they going
to save lives?

pop pop. We at first thought it was fireworks, so
we did not react. People around us did not react,
and then the popping did not stop. It was continuous,

fireworks or if it was shooting bullets.

We're also getting reaction from Israeli officials following this terrorist
attack in Australia. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Nett Yahoo says
anti Semitism is a cancer spreading around the world. Trump
administration officials also weighing in, with Attorney General Pam Bondi saying, quote,
heartbreaking news from Sydney, Australia. My prayers go out to
the victims, their families, and the Jewish community. The Attorney

States but around the world. Again, the latest information that
we have though, twelve murdered in Sydney, Australia during this
terrorist attack, and police remain on the scene there along

the shooter. So he's behind a vehicle, he sees the shooter,

but that doesn't happen. What do you see Is this

that the bullets have run out? Is it perhaps that
you know, this is a country that you know has
very strict gun laws, maybe not as many trained gun
users as it possibly doesn't know how to use the gun,

is Ahmed al Ahmed, a forty three year old who
runs a fruit stand by and he, as you see
in this video, takes down the gunman and takes the
weapon from him, ultimately disarming him and stopping some of

as a hero across Australia and the world. We don't

know the specifics as to why the gun was not
fired at that point, or if it malfunctioned, but we
do know that officials on the scene have recovered at
least two firearms, and they also say in a vehicle
near to where this terrorist attack took place, they recovered
an ied and improvised explosive device, again an indication that
these two terrorists planned meticulously to go after Jews who

were celebrating the first night of Hanukkah along the beach
there in Sydney.

a developing incident, urging people to avoid the area altogether,
saying quote, anyone at the scene should take shelter. Police
are on the scene and more information will be provided
when it comes to hand, also saying we are still
asking people in the area to take shelter until we
can determine what is happening. Multiple patients were treated at

the scene and were transported to hospitals in the immediate
vicinity of Australia's biggest city, known as Sydney. News dot
Com Australia reports one of the targeted victims has since
been named as Rabbi Eli. Just hours before the event,
the rabbi was reportedly posting about the gathering to its

Another friend posted about the rabbi's death, saying quote, he
was just doing his job, showing up being the constant,
relatable presence for his community. This is about my friend

The heroic bystander, unarmed, tackled and disarmed a terrorist gunman

at Bondi Beach. The bystanderd showed complete disregard for his
own safety. He literally ran towards danger, not away from it.
He tackled one of the two terrorist gummen during that
mass shooting Sunday in which so many were murdered and
so many more were shot. Video of the scene shows
gum and standing on a footpath between a grassy area

and parking lot, holding a shotgun and firing randomly into
the distance of the Jewish holiday event. The bystander, who
is crouching unarmed behind a parked car, rushed towards the
shooter As he fires, he leaps on to the terrace
and wrestles a shotgun from his hand before the frightened,
disarmed man tries his camera away. The video shows a

terrorists meekly falling to the ground as the hero points
a shotgun at him as the gunman backs away. The
bystander then gently plays the shotgun against a tree and
pushes puts his hands in the air. Australian authorities declared
the incident a terrorist attack. At least twelve people were
killed in the assault at the celebration, including one of
(05:45):
the shooters, and as I mentioned before, at least twenty
nine were injured. The good news is at least authorities
are declaring and being honest about what this was, a
terrorist attack to reality of fear that many Australian Jews
say they have been living with that they are no
longer safe in the country that was supposed to protect them.

The President called the shooting quote a very cruel attack
on Jews who went to light the first candle of
Hanukkah on Bondi Beach in a speech at an event
in Jerusalem. We also now know that he called on
Australia to fight against the enormous wave of anti Semitism
which is plaguing Australia society quote unquote in Australia, some
(06:33):
lawmakers were quick to both condemn the attack and warn
of what the future holds. One of their sentators there,
the founder and Leader of One Nation, led the way, saying,
quote today is an extremely dark day for our nation,
particularly the Australian Jewish community, which appears to be the
(06:55):
target of this terrorist attack. The Prime Minister never heeded
the warning signs, including the weekly anti Semitic protests across
our nation. Hate speech from certain religious clerics are obnoxious,
universities and probabletarists alert. I stand with Australia's Jewish community,
(07:16):
who tonight deserve our absolute solts. You have the same
right to live in peace and harmony as all Australians.
Authorities must be honest when revealing the identities and backgrounds
of these murderers. I could not agree more about exactly
what I read there from Senator Pauline Hansen. You put
(07:38):
all this in perspective and I just got to be
honest with you. This was something that was clearly avoidable.
This is something that this Prime Minister as it was
described perfectly, had been warned about, and what happened political
correctness has now cost the lives of countless individuals, and
(07:59):
that is the status part of all. More after this,
before we get to the other tragic event that happened
over the weekend at Brown University, I do want to
just pause and take a moment for you to understand
exactly what Democrats are now doing after the shooting that
happened at Brown and also what just happened in Australia.

Senator Cassidy was on Say the Union on CNN. He
was asked about the two killed and the nine injured
in the Brown University shooting, and I want you to
listen carefully to what he had to say about gun
violence in this country and also around the world, and
how democrats immediately go to not blaming the person or
(08:45):
the policy that allowed people into Australia or into this country.
Instead they do one thing, They blame the gun. Always
take a listen to this.

I think targeting students this time at Brown University. Here
with me now is Republican Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana,
also the chair of the Senate Health Committee. Thank you
so much for being here, sir. I do want to
get your reaction to this tragic shooting in Providence.

Yeah, isn't it awful as a parent, as a grandfather,
the fact that you would send your child off to school,
they're in their finals, you're saying a prayer for their grades,
and it turns out there's a shooting and you're saying
a prayer for their health and safety, and sometimes am memoriam.
So we have to learn more, Donna. As you know,
we don't know anything about it yet except a man

in his thirties apparently entered presumably not a student at
that age. We don't know for sure. But again, everybody
in spirit be with those parents, those grandparents, those students.

Senator, I want you to listen to something that Brown
University's sophomore Zoe Weisman told my colleague Jim Shudo. She
said that she's now because she's there, lived through her
second school shooting, because she grew up in Florida and
witnessed the twenty eighteen shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High

School in Parkland. Listen to what she said.

I think that we've seen time and time again, Congress.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Is failed to show that they actually care about their constituents,
and if they did, it would immediately beast comprehensive and
violence correction.

Senator, what do you say to Zoe?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I would say that after the shooting in Texas and Nevaldi,
Congress passed a Safer Communities Act on a bipartisan basis
that created many things that would address all the issues
of which she speaks. Now, if she's going to say,
wait a second, we need gun control laws, there is
the also shooting we just occurred in Australia in which
(10:46):
there are gun control laws, and yet this still occurred. Again,
we don't know the facts of this, but in the
Avaldi shooting, we addressed not just mental illness, but also
background checks, also the girl friend loophole, other things that
would attempt to address this. And I would argue that
(11:07):
if the facts are known, you will see the Congress
has acted.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Senator Murphy was just on here, and I know you
voted for that legislation that you just let me just.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Hit pause here. You notice how fast they go to
push their agenda, their political agenda. That political agenda is
there's a shooting, and immediately we scream we must have
gun control. Right, everything is about gun control. We don't
care about the facts, we don't care about what guns
(11:38):
were used, we don't care about anything, just gun control.
I look at this and it is incredibly frustrating. Democrats
have also gone to another low. They're now actually blaming
Donald Trump for the shooting at Brown University. You had
(12:03):
Democratic Senator Chris Murphy going on CNN State of the
Union and said the Brown University shooting was a result
to President Donald Trump's dizzying campaign to increase violence in
this country. Murphy said, if you look at states like Connecticut,
Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California that have, as he described it,
(12:25):
stronger laws, we have gun violence rates, murder rates, mass
shooting rates that are two to three four times lower
than states that have loose gun laws. And many of
the weapons that are used in our states for gun
crimes come from our states, from those states that have
the ability for criminals and people with serious mental illness
(12:45):
to buy weapons. By the way, that's just a flat
out lie. He went on to say, So, what we
know is that stronger laws do work. Since we passed
the bill in twenty twenty two, the first bill in
thirty years at strengthens and nones gun laws. Gun violence
rates and mass shooting rates have come down in this country.
By the way, just out of curiosity, I would ask
(13:07):
Senator Murphy then, explain to me the violently high crime
rates in cities that have intense gun laws, like Chicago,
New York, Washington, d C. They have what he describes
these amazing gun laws, and they have out of control
violent crime. He is saying it's time to restore, as
(13:29):
he describes it, and again, this blows my mind gun
control laws that protect all of us, he said. Instead,
what is shocking his President Trump has been engaged in
a dizzy campaign to increase violence in this country. He
is restoring the rights of felons and people who have
lost their ability to buy guns. He eliminated the White
(13:50):
House Office of Gun Violence Protection, and he has stopped
fundamental health grants and community anti violence gun grants. The
Republicans and Democrats supporting the twenty twenty two bill. So
he's been engaged in a pretty deliberate campaign to try
to make violence more likely in this country. I think
you're unfortunately going to see the results of that on
the streets of America. Now, let's also be clear, this
(14:14):
is the same president that is lowering crime to some
of the lowest levels I've seen in my lifetime my
hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This is the same president that's
lowered gun crimes and violent crime in Washington, d C.
To an incredibly low level, lower than it's ever been
since two thousand and two, and they believe it's going
(14:37):
to continue to go lower. So when you look at
the claims compared to reality, they are completely out of touch,
completely clueless, and have no idea what is actually being done.
That is the part that I think is the most shocked.
(15:01):
They have no clue, They have no idea what is happening.
They just want to blame Donald Trump. Are they going
to save lives?

No?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Are they going to blame Donald Trump? Yes? Do they
always blame Donald Trump? Yes? Do they hate Donald Trump? Yes?
If there is a mass shooting, will they give you
the facts?

If the shooter is a liberal or a radical or
a isis connected person, do they want to tell you
about that. No. All they want to do is blame
Donald Trump. They have not you notice, blame the actual
shooter at the Brown University shooting, and if it comes
out that this person is a leftist, they'll say nothing.
In fact, they're hoping it's some sort of conservative that

has done this so then they can go after conservatives
and attack them and then say, see, we need more
gun control, and you're the reason why people are dying.
That's what this is actually all about. I want to

This goes back to what the President said, why are
we letting people into this country if we don't actually
know who they are? Why are we letting people in
this country? If they actually hate America? Why would we

will confirmed that the perpetrators are the anti Semitic attack

at Bonnie Beach and Sydney where a father and a son.
They've just come out with that information. This is people
being radicalized by their own families. You think about that
and you go why is this happening over and over again.

The offenders are fifty year old and twenty four year
old Mile, who are father and son. The fifty year
old is deceased, twenty four year old is currently in hospital.

that these individuals were radicalized within their homes. They were
radicalized by their family, by their friends, by the people,

been warnings Australian politicians are not the ones who are
running our country. Is how it was described today. Watch

the problem they have.

Australian terror attack. That's just another example of how things

are changing very quickly. People understand that political correctness can

After a horrific terror attack at a hunacup party in Sydney, Australia,
marking the worst attack on the Jewish community since October seventh,

in Sydney, Australia. At least twelve people are dead and
more than two dozen wounded after two gunmen opened fire
on Jews at a Hanaka party along Bondai Beach. Australia's
Prime Minister reacted to the event, saying.

This this is a targeted attack on Jewish Australians on
the first day of Hanukkah, which should be a day
of joy, a celebration of faith, an act of evil,
anti Semitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation.

Local police put out a statement saying two people are
in police custody at Bandai Beach. However, the police operation
is ongoing and we continue to urge people to avoid
the area. Please obey all police directions, do not cross
police lines.

Now they have.

Updated this statement to say one of the attackers is dead,
another remains in police custody. This event was scheduled to
start at five pm local time in Sydney and was
advertised for all ages, with music, games and fun. One
person describes what they saw and heard nearby.

As soon as I arrived, we heard pop pop, pop
pop pop. We at first thought it was fireworks, so
we did not react. People around us did not react,
and then the popping did not stop. It was continuous,
and then people started to panic and we started to
(25:23):
see hundreds of people running around, not sure where the
sound was coming from. I'm sure again if it was
fireworks or if it was shooting bullets.

We're also getting reaction from Israeli officials following this terrorist
attack in Australia. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Nett Yahoo says
anti Semitism is a cancer spreading around the world. Trump
administration officials also weighing in, with Attorney General Pam Bondi saying, quote,
heartbreaking news from Sydney, Australia. My prayers go out to
the victims, their families, and the Jewish community. The Attorney

General an advocate for Jews, not only in the United
States but around the world. Again, the latest information that
we have though, twelve murdered in Sydney, Australia during this
terrorist attack, and police remain on the scene there along
the beach.

Back to you, hi, Trey, We're finally seeing this video
of the civilian in Australia on Vondai Beach taking down
the shooter. So he's behind a vehicle, he sees the shooter,
he tackles him, wrestles away the gun, takes the gun
and then it looks like he's going to fire at him,
but that doesn't happen. What do you see Is this
(26:36):
that the bullets have run out? Is it perhaps that
you know, this is a country that you know has
very strict gun laws, maybe not as many trained gun
users as it possibly doesn't know how to use the gun,
clearly a hero though nonetheless Trey.

Local media in Australia is reporting that the man's name
is Ahmed al Ahmed, a forty three year old who
runs a fruit stand by and he, as you see
in this video, takes down the gunman and takes the
weapon from him, ultimately disarming him and stopping some of
the killing that was taking place there. He's being praised
as a hero across Australia and the world. We don't
(27:14):
know the specifics as to why the gun was not
fired at that point, or if it malfunctioned, but we
do know that officials on the scene have recovered at
least two firearms, and they also say in a vehicle
near to where this terrorist attack took place, they recovered
an ied and improvised explosive device, again an indication that
these two terrorists planned meticulously to go after Jews who
(27:36):
were celebrating the first night of Hanukkah along the beach
there in Sydney.
Speaker 7 (27:40):
Can you tell us anything more about that vehicle? Was
it a vehicle that I assume it's a vehicle that
they both arrived in.
Speaker 8 (27:50):
We don't know the specifics The information that we received
just was from Australian authorities who held a press conference
earlier today confirming that there were twelve individuals murdered and
more than two dozen wounded. We saw some aerial images
in local news media and Australia of this vehicle that
was surrounded by Australian security forces. We don't know the
details about how they arrived. All of this taking place
(28:12):
again just a few hours ago in Sydney, Australia, but
we do anticipate that Australian authorities will update as they
gather more information into this investigation. Local media and Australia
also reporting that first responders arrived at a scene near
to where the shooting took place, a house where they
believed one of the individuals was previously living.

I'll say it again, it is very clear that there
was warning signs on this long ago. There were elected
officials saying, what are we doing? Why are we letting in?
