🧩 1. Government “Weaponization” and Political Retaliation

The first section describes a Senate hearing involving:

  • Attorney General Pam Bondi testifying before the Senate.

  • Senator Josh Hawley accusing the Biden administration, the DOJ, and the FBI of “weaponizing” federal agencies against Republicans.

  • Claims include:

    • FBI phone tapping of Republican senators (e.g., Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn).

    • Surveillance of conservative organizations such as Turning Point USA.

    • Targeting of Catholics, parents at school board meetings, and pro-life activists.

  • Bondi asserts that “weaponization under Donald Trump has ended,” suggesting this scene takes place under a new Trump administration that is “restoring justice.”

This segment portrays a highly partisan narrative where Democrats are accused of widespread abuses of power and civil rights violations during the Biden presidency, while Trump and his team are depicted as correcting those wrongs.

🌍 2. Middle East Peace Negotiations

The podcast transitions abruptly into Donald Trump’s Oval Office remarks about progress toward a peace deal between Israel and Hamas on the two-year anniversary of the October 7th attacks.
Highlights include:

  • Trump claiming near success in securing a “lasting peace in the Middle East”.

  • Mentions of Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and support from leaders in Turkey, Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

  • Netanyahu is quoted discussing “America First” and the strategic value of U.S.-Israel alliances.

This section shifts tone from domestic accusations to foreign policy optimism, framing Trump as a peacemaker in the Middle East.

⚖️ 3. U.S. Domestic Politics and Government Shutdown

The final portion focuses on:

  • The Democrats (Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries) allegedly causing a government shutdown.

  • Dispute over Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies and claims of hypocrisy between tax cuts and healthcare spending.

  • Trump and others (e.g., Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy) criticizing Democrats for harming workers and federal employees.

  • Trump characterizing the shutdown as a “.css-j9qmi7{display:-webkit-box;display:-webkit-flex;display:-ms-flexbox;display:flex;-webkit-flex-direction:row;-ms-flex-direction:row;flex-direction:row;font-weight:700;margin-bottom:1rem;margin-top:2.8rem;width:100%;-webkit-box-pack:start;-ms-flex-pack:start;-webkit-justify-content:start;justify-content:start;padding-left:5rem;}@media only screen and (max-width: 599px){.css-j9qmi7{padding-left:0;-webkit-box-pack:center;-ms-flex-pack:center;-webkit-justify-content:center;justify-content:center;}}.css-j9qmi7 svg{fill:#27292D;}.css-j9qmi7 .eagfbvw0{-webkit-align-items:center;-webkit-box-align:center;-ms-flex-align:center;align-items:center;color:#27292D;}

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before the Senate and it
got very heated because Democrats refused to admit the obvious,
the exposing of the Department of Justice, the FBI weaponizing
itself to go after Republicans. Sitting members of the Congress. Now,

(00:21):
there was a very interesting moment that happened with Senator Hawley,
and I want you to hear what Senator Grassley had
to say before he spoke about the spying on our
men and women in the Republican Party who were elected
to serve their country and the United States Congress. Listen carefully.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Haully, without objection, introduced two documents into the record. First
one is the Expanded Scope of Arctic Frost. The second
document is a list of Republican groups and people that
Arctic Frost targeted, including Charlie Kirk's group Turning Point USA.

(01:01):
These documents show the political weaponization of the Biden administration
against Republicans.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Senator Hawley, thank you very much, mister Chairman. Attorney General
BONDI good to see you. Welcome. I've been listening closely
in this hearing, and I've heard over and over from
my Democrat colleagues concerns about targeting political enemies, and they've
accused you of all manner of things, and the current president.
I've also heard them said, and I just wrote it
down because I wanted to be sure I heard it correctly.
I've heard them say that Joe Biden never targeted his

(01:30):
political enemies. Joe Biden never directed his attorney general to
target his political opponents. Huh. That's interesting because I could
have sworn that. Yesterday we learned that the FBI tap
my phone.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Let's look at it.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
We've got a list. Tap my phone, tap Lindsay Graham's phone, tapped,
Marshall Blackburn's phone, tapped five other phones of United States senators. Gee,
it sure looks like targeting political opponents to me. But
I haven't heard a word from that side of the
DAIS about any concern whatsoever. We've got nothing but concerns today,

(02:07):
but no concern at all for a Justice Department that
is tapping the phones of sitting United States senators because
who knows why they don't like them. They're members of
the opposition party, they're Republicans, their conservatives. You've seen this document.
Attorney General Bonnie Well, what was going on here? Who
ordered this, Who ordered the tapping of the phones of

(02:29):
United States senators?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Senator Holly, I cannot discuss the details of that right
now for very good reason.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You're going to do a thorough investigation into this, I trust.
Is that correct.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
We will be looking at all aspects of this, and
I have talked to Director Pateel at length.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
And you're going to figure out who was involved in this,
who signed off on it, who knew about it. You're
going to get to the bottom of all of it.
Is it correct?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
And I've spoken to Director Patel about it, and he
is committed to doing this.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Well. I can tell you we already know many of
the details. We all already know that this was ordered
by the Special Prosecutor, Jack Smith, who reported directly to
the Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland. And
we know that Jack Smith was on his witch hunt
because he was directed to do so by the President
of the United States, Joe Biden. Let's just remember, let's

(03:18):
take a walk down memory lane. April second, twenty twenty two,
The New York Times. Garland faces growing pressure. The time
says as recently as late last year, that would have
been twenty twenty one, mister Biden confided to his innerserble
he believed former President Trump was a threat to democracy
and should be prosecuted. It goes on to say that
Garland that the Biden rather was frustrated with Garland and

(03:41):
wanted him to take decisive action against Trump. Here's what
we're talking about. Trump, of course, was a private citizen
at the time. So he appoints his own hitman, Jack Smith,
who goes after the president, former president, who goes after
members of this body.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
You know.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
The thing about it, though, that really strikes me is
is that it didn't stop with members of the United
States Senate, did it? Attorney General Bondy, It didn't stop
here at all. I mean, just as egregious, maybe more
so than tapping the phones of US senators. Is this
memo that I know you've seen before. Let's just look
at it again. This is an FBI memo from the
same time period, I might add, from the same time

(04:21):
period in which the Federal Bureau of Investigation attempts to
recruit informants into Catholic parishes in this country. So here
you have an administration that is activating the FBI against
its political opponents and tapping the phones of United States senators.
Can I just say that again for my colleagues, for
the benefit of my colleagues on the other side of
the dais tapping the phones of United States senators. This

(04:46):
isn't hypothetical, This isn't maybe what will you do in
the future, This isn't og Can you imagine the situation.
This happened, This happened, and this happened. The targeting of
Catholics in this country because Joe Biden and his FBI
didn't like Catholics who went to a certain kind of
mass I mean, good God in Heaven, what is happening

(05:09):
to this country? What happened under Joe Biden? Or then
how about this the infamous school board memo where Merrick Garland,
at the direction of the White House, issued a memo
activating the FBI's Counter Terrorism Division against parents who attended
school board meetings and had the temerity to ask what
their kids were being taught, and some of those parents

(05:32):
were treated like this. Let's just remember. Let's remember how
parents were treated treated like this man a parent at
a school board meeting I think in Virginia who was
drug out of the school board meeting. He's bloody there,
you can see it. And what was the response of
Joe Biden's DOJ and FBI. It was to issue a
memorandum saying that people like this ought to be investigated

(05:55):
by the counter terrorism Unit, and unbelievably they were. They were.
Or how about this, Let's remember Mark Hawk and the
pro lifers who were prosecuted for what for going to
a clinic and abortion clinic and praying on a sidewalk
outside of the abortion clinic. This is Mark Hawk and
his beautiful family at mass. This man at the direction

(06:19):
of Joe Biden's FBI, this man had an FBI swat
team come to his door in the early morning hours
with his beautiful children there, terrorizing them with weapons drawn.
He was then arrested and prosecuted. Unfortunately, a jury acquitted him.
This is what was happening under Joe Biden. United States

(06:43):
senators spied upon former presidents, the political opponents of the
president of the time, targeted, prosecuted pro lifers, targeted, prosecuted Catholics, targeted, prosecuted,
ninety two conservative organizations put under surveillance, targeted for potential prosecution. Gee,
I don't know would you call that an example of weaponization.

(07:07):
Attorney General Bonnie, do you think that's a fair characterization.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
Senator Holly, that is the ultimate weaponization, and weaponization under
Donald Trump has ended. It has ended. Harmeat Dylan is
running our civil rights unit and she is doing an
incredible job. No longer will parents be targeted. No longer
will parents who care about whether their elementary school children

(07:33):
have to read a transgender book be targeted and told
they cannot have any say in their child's education. That
has ended under this administration. People can worship freely, whether
they're Catholics at synagogues or Muslims. Everyone can worship freely.
That was the ultimate weaponization. They were targeting Catholics.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
No longer.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
They have been targeting so many an American citizens throughout
this country. And Senator Hawlly, you have been a champion
of this, and thank you for being a champion of that.
But under Donald Trump's watch, it has ended.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
You know, I think about some of the abuses of
power in this country's history, and there's been sadly a
lot of them by members of the executive branch over
the years, whether it's Watergate, whether it's what Jaye or
Hoover did and his time at the FBI spying on
many public figures are FKA, MLKJFK, you name it. And
I just have to say, what we now know happened
in the last four years under this administration surpasses all

(08:33):
of that. It surpasses all of it, not just for
the interference in the legislative branch, not just for the
blatant disregard for the separation of powers, not just for
the blatant disregard for the First Amendment, but for the
targeting of ordinary American citizens who can't afford lawyers, who
can't afford to mount a defense, who when the FBI
knocks at their door or comes with the swat team,
they don't know what to do. It is absolutely a disgrace.

(08:56):
It is a stain on the history of this country
and the conscience of this country what this administration did
in the last four years. So here's what I think
needs to happen. Man Attorney General, I think we need
a special prosecutor to be appointed whose sole responsibility will
be to get to the bottom of what has happened
in every instance that I have just named.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Senator Holly calling for a special prosecutor Pam Bondi talking
about the weaponization of the government and saying that those
who did it will be held accountable, especially if they
were breaking the law. And it's also very clear that
this is a moment where this administration is saying no
longer will this be allowed or acceptable, And if you

(09:38):
did it in the past, we are going to bring
it to the light of day, and we are going
to investigate it. And this is exactly why so many
are happy President Trump and the people he's chosen to
put in positions of power which are now leading to
real accountability. Are you one of those that's just so
tired of giving your money to radical left woke companies

(10:00):
that actually are fighting against your values every day? Well,
there are certain bills that you pay every month that
if you can go with a conservative company, why not
do it? In fact, why not go with a conservative
company actually takes part of your bill every month that
you're going to pay to somebody, and they give it
back to organizations that support your First and your Second

(10:21):
Amendment rights, that support the rights of unborn children, that
stand with our military, are first responders and so many
wounded warriors that need help. Well, that bill I'm talking
about is your cell phone bill. And I've been telling
you for a long time about Patriot Mobile. But there's
no better time to switch than right now. Not only

(10:43):
does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major networks in
this country, yeah, all three. That means you get the
same great coverage you're used to right now, but you
also make a difference with every call you make and
every text you make. And why would you want to
give your money a big mobile? Big Mobile has been
giving big donations of democratic causes, democratic candidates, and radical

(11:05):
left organizations. I'm talking about organizations that actually support abortion.
That is why I want you to switch right now
to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and make the switch, and
it's so easy. All you have to do is simply
call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent US based team from
the comfort of your home or your office and they'll

(11:26):
have you activated in minutes. And if you're still locked
in a contract, not a problem. Patriots Mobile contract buyout
program covers up to five hundred dollars per device. Keep
your same number, keep your phone, or upgrade do a
new one. So back to my point, what are you
waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today? And make a difference
every single day with every call you make. Patriot Mobile

(11:49):
dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash
ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot. And if
you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get a
free month of service on top of that. Patriot Mobile
dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot.
That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson, ninety seven to two Patriot.

(12:12):
Donald Trump expressing optimism now about a deal between the
Palestinians and Israel, saying, quote, there's a really good chance
of actually reaching one. He said, i'm as has also
been agreeing to things that are very important, implying progress
in the talks is being made. He told reporters from
the Oval Office that there is a quote possibility we

(12:35):
could have peace in the Middle East beyond Gaza. Here's
more of what the President had to say on the
two year anniversary of the October seventh attack on the
innocent Israelis and many of them there are still being
held hostage. More than two years later.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
On Over seventh, the two year anniversary of the regional
Israeli attack.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
You expect the Gaza deal tomorrow where I think we're
gonna have a soon. I think we're gonna have a deal.

Speaker 6 (12:59):
Look, it's a hard thing for me to say that
when for years and years they've been trying to have
a deal with Gaza.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
But I mean literally for centuries.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
Okay if you really think about it, But we're gonna
have the guys that deal.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
I'm pretty sure you.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
And one of the talk well, I'm the one that
got the hostages back.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Remember that, you know, I'm the one that, Yeah, I
got them back.

Speaker 7 (13:23):
What these citizens are celebrating, what people confident this deal
show to come through.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
There will be are all celebration on the streets of Israel.
And the hostages families.

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Have they been in contact with you.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
With regard to this deal with that, yeah, they're so
they're so happy about it. It's like they can't breathe.
Once that I can't breathe.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
You know, it's very sad because you have hostages and
you have people that are no longer living.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
But the parents, and.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
I've said this too many times, the parents want the
bodies of their boy back, the bodies of you know,
they love to back.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
In most cases, they're young.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
Men and they're dead, and there's probably thirty two or
so about that number.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Nobody knows exactly what the number is.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
They want that body back as much as if their
son were alive.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
And I've been with them, you know, many.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Have come to the White House, to the Oval Office.
I've been with many of the people that I got released.
We have a fantastic group working on it. Steve Whitcoff
has been amazing, Jared I have Jared. I took Jared
out because Jared's very you don't find anybody more capable.
And we have the A plus team working on it.

(14:40):
I think we've made tremendous progress. And yeah, the people
of Israel, the people of Israel wanted to happen, but
the people related to hostages, I mean, you see in
Israel tens of thousands of people. They really want the
hostages back, and they really want things to end. And
I think mass now has been All I can say

(15:03):
is they've been fine. They've been fine. I hope it's
gonna continue that way. I think it will. I really
think we're gonna have a deal. We have a really
good chance of making a deal, and it'll be a
lasting deal.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
We won't have peace. This is beyond Gaza. Gaza is
a big deal, but this is really peace in the
Middle East.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
And the amazing thing is we have every Arab country,
every Muslim country, we have every country surrounding. They all
want I spoke with President Irewana of Turkey. He's fantastic.
He's been pushing very hard. He's a very powerful guy,
and he's been pushing very very hard to get this
deal done.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
And Hamas has a lot of respect for him.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
They have a lot of respect for Qatar, they have
a lot of respect for UEE and Saudi Arabia. We
have everybody who is on our side to get this
deal done. There's never been anything like it. Nobody's ever
seen it. There's always been like eighty percent of them
don't want something done. I think virtually Weaving had a signal,
a very strong signal, as you know, from Moran, they'd

(16:05):
like to see this done. Now.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
If you think that was a one off from President Trump,
you're wrong. Less than twenty four hours later, he had
this to say from the Oval Office as an update.

Speaker 6 (16:15):
Mark wants just as much as I do. We are
very close to making a deal on the Middle East
that will bring peace to the Middle East.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
After all of these years of.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
Millions and millions, tens of millions of people being killed,
There's a chance to bring peace to the Middle East.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
There's a chance to bring peace to the Middle East.
He characterized the peace proposal that he and Noahu rolled
out in September as extremely fair, urging Hamas to accept
it and following a Hamas statement and indicating partial acceptance
of the proposal, Trump said he believes Hamas was ready
for lasting peace. That is the most important word lasting.

(16:54):
Trump also said he urged negotiators today to move fast
towards a deal to avoid further bloodshed, and in a
more forceful tone, he warned that if a Masu does
not accept his proposal, there would be serious consequences, but
still framed in the context of urgency to secure a
piece deal. Benjamin net Yahoo, for example, talking about America

(17:16):
first and what does that mean and how does that
fit in with Israel? And I want you to hear
what he says, especially his anti Semitism is on the
rise in the US.

Speaker 8 (17:26):
Well, let me first start with the America first. That's
a natural position, would be unnatural to have a different position.
But America first doesn't mean America alone, because all countries
need allies. Superpowers need allies, China's allies, Russia's allies.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
And if you're.

Speaker 8 (17:42):
Without allies, who may develop the technologies that are needed
for your defense or the technologies that are needed for
your offense, or the intelligence to save your lives. Why
forfeit yourself of these allies. The problem that you've had
over the years, the United States is that you didn't
have these allies pulling their weight.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
And Israel is an ally.

Speaker 8 (18:04):
It's a fighting ally that pulls its weight. Not only that,
not only do we fight, we don't ask for American
to bring boots on the ground.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
We can.

Speaker 8 (18:13):
We've done the job of defending ourselves pretty well, i'd say,
over the last seventy seven years.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Now net Ya who's saying there he believes we cannot
do it alone. There's no way for us to do
it alone, and we need America, and this is an
important ally. It's also the reason why the President has
been putting pressure clearly on both sides of the Aisle
to do everything that they can to get this deal done.
That includes being very blunt with net Nah who as well.

(18:43):
Now all this is happening, is anti Semitism is continuing
to be on the rise in this country, especially among
young people. On the two year anniversary of the attack
and the deadliest day since the Holocaust for the Jews
in Israel, many acted like it didn't even happen. Media
refuse to talk about it. Many in our media that

(19:03):
used to care about these things are looking the other way.
And there's one other thing that's happening right now that's
really scary. How many people are going after conservatives that
stand with Israel, claiming that they're on the payroll. Another
victim of these Slanders attacks is Deness Tsuza. He had
to put out his statement saying this about the accusations.

(19:26):
He's only defending Israel because he's being paid to do
it by the Israeli government.

Speaker 9 (19:31):
And this is basically what I'm finding is the MO
not just stuff talker and of Candae, but they're followers.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Denish.

Speaker 9 (19:39):
You really must be getting seven thousand dollars, Debbie and
I will talk a little bit more about this later
this week. The seven thousand dollars nonsense, but my point
is prove it. Forget the seven thousand prove that Wie
and I have gotten a single penny from Israel. You

(20:00):
can't do it. Why because we haven't. I think, as
many of you know, we give money to biblical archaeology
in Israel. We've been doing it since we first experienced
all this in twenty twenty two, so we've been doing
it for three years. We intend to continue. So to
put it someone differently, we are not on Israel's payroll
for a single shekel if we have to, if the

(20:23):
truth is to be told, it's really the other way.
Israel is kind of on our payroll. If you know
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
You listen to Danesh and this is exactly what's happening
all over the country. If you are a conservative right now,
there's many that are anti Israel, anti jew that are saying, well,
you must be on Israel's payroll. I speak up for Israel.
I'm accused this all the time. I wear a lapel

(20:50):
pin on my suit proudly now every time I'm on TV,
and it is a pen that shows the American flag
in the Israeli flag. And what is the first thing
I see? And I get on X or on social media.
After the appearance these leftists extremists who will come after
and say you're bought and paid for it. Now, to
be clear, I'm not paid a dime either by the

(21:11):
Israeli government. But this is the new slander that they're doing.
This is exactly what they're choosing to say is the
reason behind anyone that would stand with Israel. Now, this
is going to be interesting to see how this ends.
And when I say how this ends, is there a
peace deal that is going to get done? I believe

(21:32):
the president is close. Could that change because of terrorists?

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Could the terrorists decide at the last minute they don't
want a part of peace because it's bad for their business. Yes,
there is obviously a chance of that. But overall, what
we do know is that we have a president of
the United States of America that's doing more to get
peace in the Middle East in the last week than
the last administration did in four years. It was called

(21:59):
the Schumer shut down, but now you need to add
a name to that. Now it should be called the
Schumer Hakeem Jeffries shut down. This after late breaking news
that Hakeem Jeffries has rejected legislation to extend Obamacare's subsidies
for one year. The House Minority leader rejecting that one

(22:20):
year extension of Obamacare subsidies, and Democrats had said that
if they got this extension, that the government could have
a clean SR and move forward. Well, now the Democrats
are proving that this is all being done and orchestrated
to hurt Americans. Democrats have not only shut down the
government over the issue, but also they've shut down the

(22:42):
government so Chuck Schumer can show just how radical he is.
Hoping to avoid a primary for his Senate seat by
aoc NA. Hill reported that while Representative jen Kaigins, a
Republican from Virginia, is advocating for legislation that would extend
enhanced to Affordable Care Act tax credit until the end

(23:05):
of twenty twenty six, Hakeem Jeffries criticized Republicans for thinking, quote,
Democrats are going to go along with a one year
extension of the Affordable Care Act subsidies. The congresswoman from
Virginia is pushing legislation to extend enhance Affordable Care Act

(23:25):
tax credits, which expire on January one, through the end
of twenty twenty six. The proposal has bipartisan support and
some political observers view it as a launching pad for
securing a deal to reopen the government. Jeffries, though, has
other ideas, saying that this is well a moving goalpost.

(23:47):
A one year extension is quote now a non starter.
That is not what they were saying just days ago
before the government shut down. He emphasizes, well, the President
Trump and Republicans had adopted a permanent extension of the
tax cut for the country's wealthiest people earlier this year,
and he says with that in mind, he's now demanding

(24:09):
a permanent extension of the enhanced ACA subsidies, which overwhelmingly
help working class people. They claim, quote, what world are
these maga extremists? Yes, the rhetoric has not been toned
down by the left, even after the assassination attempt on
the President and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, calling conservatives

(24:31):
now maga extremists living in right now. He went on
to say, to think that Democrats are going to go
along with a one year extension from a group of people,
meaning the Republicans who just permanently extended massive tax breaks
for their billionaire donors, is what Jeffreys told reporters on
Capitol Hill. Now we also know that real Americans are

(24:55):
going to feel the effects of the government shut down. Also,
the workers, many of them being f and are going
to be missing pay checks. The president United States of
America saying this from the Oval Office.

Speaker 6 (25:06):
Well, they're the ones that started it, They're the ones
that have it, and it's almost like a Kama Kazi
attack by them. You want to know the truth, this
is like a Kama Kazi attack. They they almost you know,
they have nothing to lose. They've lost the elections, They've
lost the presidential election in a landslide. I saw the

(25:28):
other day where Kamalis. So this was a very close election,
very This was one of the biggest sweeps that anybody's
ever had. Won the popular vote by millions, won the
electoral College by a massive amount. They said, if I
got two hundred and seventy, that would be great, But
I got I think three hundred and twelve or three

(25:48):
hundred and fifteen, and they got two twenty.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
So you know, we won that. But we won counties.
The big thing is counties.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
So out of all of the counties thousands and thousands,
we got two thousand, five hundred. They got five hundred
and twenty five. It was a landslide, and we listen. Oh,
yes it was. It was one of the greatest victories ever.
And it was a mandate to do what we're doing now.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Donald Trump isn't the only one talking about how Democrats
are putting Americans at risk. The man in charge of Transportation,
Secretary Sean Duffy saying this today about air traffic controllers
and what Democrats are causing.

Speaker 10 (26:27):
They work six days a week, right, so we don't
have enough control, so they have to work overtime. And
they're family people, right, this is their living, their concerned
now they don't get the pay trucks. How do I
pay my mortgage? How do I pay my car payment?
What do I do to put food in the kids table?
So the controllers yesterday were saying, we actually have to
think about working six days a week and then do
I go and take an uber job and try to

(26:49):
make extra money to put the food on the table.
All because Chuck Schumer is trying to have this political
fight instead of saying, let's do a clean cr let's
open the government up, let's have a conversation about what
Democrats want to talk about. But do that over the
course of the next several months. Don't shut it down
and affect our airspace, our controllers. Uh and against it's
a huge problem. And again Burbank zero controllers came to work.

(27:11):
I don't support that they should. They should come to work.
They're supposed to come to work. But this is they can.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Miss a paycheck yet, so why aren't they coming to work.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
I mean it's only been six days.

Speaker 10 (27:21):
So well, the paycheck, the pay the pay cycle ended yesterday, right,
their paychecks come next week and they see it's on
the horizon, Brian, They're like, listen, do I see the
shut Do I see resolution of the shutdown? I don't
see it. So guess what I'm concerned about my own life,
my own family. And what we do is say again,

(27:42):
I want people when they travel to get to where
they're going. So if we don't have controllers, we're going
to make sure the airspace is safe. So what we
do is we'll slow traffic, We'll shut down traffic. And
that's what you saw on Burbank. We saw, you know,
significant delays because controllers weren't.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
There significant delays in Burbank. And there's a very good
and so those delays could extend around the country. We
also know that Democrats are filling the heat as their
constituents are starting to get very angry about what is
happening right now. A perfect example of that is signor
Agnes King saying this on the vote count.

Speaker 11 (28:17):
Where things stand with the shutdown. I've seen some polls
showing both parties the public is blaming both of them
for where things stand. What do you think about the
Democrats handling of it so far?

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Well as you know.

Speaker 12 (28:30):
As you may know, I've voted yes on the Continuing
Resident the Republican House pass continuing resolution because I'm concerned
about the effects of the shutdown on the country. On
the other hand, I'm also concerned that the Republicans have
not stepped forward to even commit to serious discussions about

(28:53):
the ACA issue, which.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Is a big issue.

Speaker 12 (28:56):
People are going to see double digit double digit is
the right word, could see more than ten thousand dollars
increases in their insurance premiums in a month, and and
I think there's something we have to deal with.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
You listen to the center there. That is a guy
that's an independent quote unquote. He's now even saying he
might change his vote and oppose a GOP bill to
end the shutdown if the Democrats are successful enough in
their new move, which is to say, you must give
us all the money we say we need for those
subsidies for the Obamacare Affordable Care Act, which has never

(29:33):
been affordable, and now we're witnessing just how much money
it takes to underwrite it. So here we are another
day of a shutdown, a president of United States of
America that clearly is still doing his job and doing
what he said he was going to do for the
American people. There also is another part of this, is
there a chance we can get rid of a bunch
of bureaucrats almost with Doge two point zero. That may

(29:58):
be the leverage that Republicans have to move the needle,
as they're making it clear now that they are looking
at getting rid of quite a few many who are
bureaucrats that may not be actually serving the American people.
Instead they are serving themselves. So here we are the
shutdown is real. The President also saying hang in there

(30:19):
when it comes to shutdown because he promises good things
are coming.

Speaker 7 (30:24):
And the Democrat on all of this, as you know,
the inherent people are expression lack pain any government shut down,
and while you're dealing with the Democrats, of course Republicans
are standing or ground.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
What is your message to REPUS American people who may
encounter some of this pain there? How do you get
it done well?

Speaker 6 (30:44):
Up till now that hasn't been a great deal of pain.
There could be a great deal of pain, but up
till now.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
That hasn't been. I will say this just.

Speaker 6 (30:51):
Hanging there because I think a lot of good things
are going to happen.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
It's only can say.

Speaker 6 (30:55):
I mean, I think a lot of good things could happen,
and that could also pertain to healthcare.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Just rec good things are going to happen. The President
saying that, and I think many that voted for him
believe the President when he said it. Don't forget share
this podcast please with your family and your friends were
whoever they are, and I will see you back here tomorrow.
