Speaker 1 (00:01):
Minnesota's Somali fraud scandal has exploded over the weekend, all
because of a very brave YouTuber in his early twenties
that decided to do the job that the entire media
apparatus chose not to do. Now, did he do some
unbelievable amount of undercover journalism to get this story? No,

(00:22):
he just went and asked basic questions and knocked on
doors and what he found was billions of dollars in fraud.
We also now know that the FBI Director Cash Ptel
has said the Minnesota fraud scheme is a now quote
top FBI priority and is calling it the tip of
a very large iceberg. He also made it clear that

(00:46):
the FBI is not only aware of the videos that
have gone viral over the weekend, but is going to
do everything to bring those who have been committing this
fraud to justice, including denaturalization. Now, let's get to the
core of what exploded over the weekend, and the biggest
part of the story is simply asking questions by a

(01:09):
very brave young man. He put up his video on
social media. It is one that has obviously gone viral,
and it's an important story about an individual using the
power of a cell phone to then turn it into
a forty two minute investigative video. Nick Shirley went out

(01:31):
to the addresses that were listed on the government's website
in Minnesota where the money had been going by the
millions of dollars to see what he could find. And
what he found was incredibly shocking, massive fraud and no
kids playing at any of the learning centers time after time.

(01:52):
Guess what happened. He didn't see anybody actually doing anything
with kids. Now, the government surely knew this, but they
didn't care because they're in on the scheme as well.
Which brings me to playing part of the videos for you.
I encourage you to watch the entire forty two minute
investigative video. I've put it up on x on Instagram

(02:16):
and on Facebook, but I want to play part of
what Shirley uncovered and one widely shared scene what you're
going to hear. Shirley highlight that one center received about
two million dollars this last year in twenty twenty five alone,
despite no children or activity being a parent at the
site during daytime visits. Now, Shirley's video claims it over

(02:40):
one hundred and ten million in fraud was documented in
a single day of investigative reporting. Why did the media
not do this story? Again, this was not some massive whistleblower.
This was simply using publicly available data from the government
of Minnesota to then go and ask questions, and Shirley

(03:03):
was the only one that apparently was willing to do
the job that all of the media chose not to do.
But before we get to that, I want to tell
you about our good friends at Patriot Mobile. Every so often,
something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
We can't afford to take our rights for granted. We
must draw a line in the sand, and our friends

in so much more, and switching has never been easier.

a new one. And this is where the magic happens.

with every call you make. So take a listen to
one incredible part of that video.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
When I look at the world as whole and I
look at fraud, the Twin Cities is ground zero The
fraud is worse here than anywhere else ever in history anywhere.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
We're gonna go in front these people. We're gonna go
to these daycare centers. We're gonna see what's actually happening.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Okay, so we have to be careful because these people
are very violent. They're exceptionally violent.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Now, with all of David's evidence, we headed out to
the streets of Minneapolis to see how much fraud we
could uncover in one afternoon. Where are we going.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Now, We're going to a place called Mako Childcare, which
actually has another childcare registered at the same address called
Mini child Care Center.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
So we should see lots of children there's at this
childcare centers, especially if there's two the two of.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Them combined our license for one hundred and twenty and how.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Much money have these childcare centers received.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
None of those vans had moved in six months. None
of them in twenty twenty one of them received one
point three million, and twenty twenty one they got nine
hunt and eighty seven thousand. In twenty twenty two they
got seven hundred and fourteen thousand. That's the last I
have for that one, and then the other one one
point six zero four million in fiscal year twenty twenty five,

(06:22):
fiscal year twenty twenty four they got about eight hundred thousand,
and in twenty fiscal year twenty twenty three they got
nine hundred and four thousand and fifty nine dollars. This
place right here, yes, outside of it, well, this is
actually two daycares are registered here. One of them is
Mako what you see on the sign. The other one
is Many Childcare Center. And between the two of these

(06:47):
childcare centers, they're pulling in about three million dollars a year.
And there are no children. Every facility is you go to,
the windows will be blocked out so you can't see,
and there's nobody here. You won't see a single child
at any of these facilities.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
There are indeed no windows. All the windows are blacked
out right here. All right, let's go in, No, and
the childcare center is locked. Shoot, ring the doorbell, try
to get in, Rang the doorbell. Nobody showed up. They're
open seven days a week at seventy to ten pm,
it says here on their sign. Yet there's absolutely nobody here.

(07:24):
And this building here right here has generated millions of
dollars and it seems like business isn't even open right now,
and it's a weekday. And if this was a daycare center,
it wouldn't just be in some industrialized building there. It'd
be maybe like a playground or something outside.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Or there's no play area for the kids. So where
are the kids? Where's anybody? How can there be nobody here?
And it's like this every single day. I've never seen
a single child here. In nine years, I've never seen
a single child at this building right there.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Oh, then, now it looks like we've already gotten Somemali's.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Comings tout, they're comedy, the words out.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Hello, is this your daycare? No can tell us.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Where there are no children? Have you ever seen children
at this childcare center?

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Doesn't know if you've ever seen a child here? All right,
let's go to the next location. Now we're going to
the next daycare center. How much mony has this one generated?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
This one in fiscal year twenty twenty five one million,
forty two fifty nine dollars, in Fiscal Your twenty twenty
four one million, fifty nine thousand, seventy eight dollars, and
in Fiscal Your twenty twenty three, seven hundred and twenty
seven thousand, three hundred and thirty six dollars.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
This next one is literally one block away, and this
one's also generated nearly three million dollars in the past
three years. See if there's any children, but see if
any of the buildings are open. Here we go. All right,
we've arrived to ABC Learning Center. All the windows are
blocked out. Let's see if anybody is here. This door

(08:58):
is locked.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
This facility is life for forty children, zero children. I
come by this place one hundred times. I've never seen
a child here. Ever, Another thing I've ever seen is
someone standing outside smoking.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
What's crazy about this is that last daycare center is
that green building right there, and the other daycare center
right now is right here. These buildings should be operating
as they're receiving literally millions of dollars. I knocked on
the door. Into my surprise, somebody actually answered the door. Hello,

(09:31):
can we speak? I would like to check a child
in the daycare? Can I speak to a manager? Where
can I get paperwork to file for my son? I
wanted to put my son, Joey in daycare, and after
a few questions, the lady went silent. Looks like little
Joey Shirley ain't going to daycare here? And now where

(09:51):
are we going?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Now We're going to Sweet Angel Childcare.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
We're in the middle of a strip mall here inside
of this neighborhood.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
In fiscal years twenty five, this facility, which shaws its
license for seventy four kids, was paid one point two
six million dollars in tax money. And there are no kids,
and all the facilities are the same way, all of them.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Let's see if anyone opens. Yeah, let's see once again.
I try to find a spot for my son Joey,
and they would not open the door. I want to
put my son Joey in daycare because I need a
spot to put my son Joey. Yes, is this your
daycare center? No? I just wanted to put a child

(10:35):
in daycare, but all the daycare centers seem to be closed.
No one's opening the doors.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
You work here, oh was Yeah, what's helping? Where are
the kids? Says it's license for seventy four children right here,
State of Minnesota. Where are the kids? They got paid
one point twenty six million dollars in Fister Your twenty
twenty five. It says they have a capacity for seventy
four children?

Speaker 3 (10:58):
When when?

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Where are the kids stayed? In Minnesota website? You work
here and you don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I was dead before. I don't know what's goes going on?

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Were there any kids when you worked here?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
He's dead, he's dead so many I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I don't know. Yeah, you worked here. Okay, well then
you're out of any.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
Can I put my son in the daycare here?

Speaker 1 (11:18):
No?

Speaker 2 (11:18):
No, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Can I speak to someone? No? Yeah, I would like
to see if I can put my son Joey here?
Who is his son, Joey? My son Joey. Can I
check out daycare center?

Speaker 2 (11:29):
No?

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Do you put your kid here in the staycare? There
is one child in there? Yeah. I would like to
know if this is a legit business.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
I'm scared of you too.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
How come I explain.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
You're scared of me?

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Because of my color. You said you're scared of me
because of my color. Does that make you a racist?

Speaker 4 (11:49):
No?

Speaker 3 (11:49):
But you said you're you said you're scared of me
because of my color. I'm not saying you said you're
scared of me because of my color, that makes you
a racist. So right now they're all getting mad because
he's showing the paperwork of this business being registered as
a business. Seventy four children have no children? He saw
one child when the lady opened up the door. So
now they're all getting mad.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
What was this money spent on one point two six million?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
What was that money spent? Run any kids after?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Don aren't the kids?

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Well?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Then why are you talking for the owner? If you're
trying to talk to you, I'm sorry, I'm not just
what he's talking about. Do you have a child here? No?

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Does anybody where are the seventy four kids? Did you
lose them? Did you lose these kids? Do I need
to call someone? Do I need to issue an Amber
alert for missing children? Are these children missing? It's not
my business that children are missing. Seventy four infants and toddlers,
free school.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
The prison right there, there's no children anywhere, Buffy. Now
it's kept buying away. I think we're moving on to
the next location. I have a good day. I have
a good day. As we continue to show the blatant
fraud that was taking place here in Minnesota. Somali started

(13:08):
following us around the city, and now we're being followed
by the Somali. This is another daycare center. Absolutely no
signage and there's no footprints in the snow of children
playing outside. Five million dollars in the past two.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Five point nine million they received in two years that
facility right there.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
And now we have a group of Somali's telling us
in our vehicle right now. From this daycare center, we
headed over to the infamous Quality Learning Center, which actually
spells Quality Leering Center on the outside of their sign.
That's how blatant this fraud is here at this daycare.
So this is Quality Leering Center meant to say quality

(13:49):
learning center. They said they spelled learning wrong. How do
you have ice here, ma'am? I'm literally a YouTuber, ma'am.
What do you think about the fraud that's taking place
here in Minnesota?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Don't open up? We have eyes, man. What do you
think about this place being licensed for ninety nine children?

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Don't open up.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
And getting four million dollars over them? Four million dollars
in the last two years. What do you think about that?
Are you in favor? Are you in favor of that
go away?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
You know we're not welcome here. Are you say money?
Are you in favor of one point nine million dollars
going illegally fraudulently to this business that has quality learning center.
But Kenny's still learning right on the door. Don't open up, ma'am.
We are not Ice. I don't care who you are.
You don't belong here. I belong here just like you

(14:43):
belong here. Don't open up. It's Ice. You do realize
that there's supposed to be ninety nine children in here
at this building, but there's no one here. This is
a child daycare center.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
It's ninety nine children paid one point nine million dollars
this year in seacamp funding. Where the children are, where
they kidnapped? They run away? Where are the children? This
is state of Minnesota. Were here? And who are you?

Speaker 3 (15:08):
My name's Nick Shirley, ma'am. And who are you with
Nick Shurley? Nick? Surely on YouTube?

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yeah, so who are you with here?

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Oh? He's just been doing some research and investigating the
fraud that's taking place here in Minnesota. This lady, she's
calling his ice. We're just trying to put law and
order back in the streets of the United States, get
rid of all the fraud. Have you ever seen children
at that daycare center right there?

Speaker 5 (15:29):
Were?

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Yeah, it's right there. It says the child. You've never
seen dacab. We're gonna educate you on something. So what
do you think about this daycare center? They spelt learning wrong.
They've received over one point nine million dollars this year alone,
and they're supposed to have ninety nine children here.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
I don't see it.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Children.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Have you ever seen any children here? None?

Speaker 5 (15:46):
None at all?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
None?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Last year? This year they got one point nine million.
Last year they got one point five million of your
tax money for nine and nine children. We just want
to know where the kids?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Right?

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Where are the children?

Speaker 5 (15:58):
I'll see him. I've been here since twenty seventeen. I
haven't seen anybody like that.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
And so you've never seen a child here for eight years?

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Nope, not at all.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
And how does that make you feel? Knowing that this
place is received a one point nine million dollars disgusting?

Speaker 5 (16:13):
I mean, what the hell they stealed in the money.
That's a federal grant too. Let's see if they get
caught for that's a federal offense. I don't know. I
studied law.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
And do you think Tim Watts should go to jail
for all the fraud that's he's enabled here in his
state that's him doing this.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Shure, heck care, He's gonna be helicopteral for this. I've
been just no, just no rhyme or reason. What's going
on here?

Speaker 3 (16:32):
It's simple, it's nothing there.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
It's parking lot.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
And look, they even spelt learning wrong on their sign
for a place that's supposed to be educating children. Children.

Speaker 6 (16:42):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Well, I mean who who runs it? Who supposedly runs it? Somalians?

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Oh my god, Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Will Joey would not be accepted to that daycare. Joey's
still looking for daycare. And because little Joey couldn't get
into a day here, we went to an autism center,
as they have been popping up everywhere as a rise
of autism has occurred here in Minnesota because of the
government funds that they're receiving. I tried to check my
son Joey into an autism center. And I'm going to

(17:13):
a lot of these daycare centers. We're trying to find
a spot for our little boy Joey. But we thought
maybe we could check them in the autism center because
now the daycar centers are open. Yeah, and how many
kids you guys have at this autism center. I can't
give you a burning like more than five probably probably,

(17:35):
so you don't really know. What do you guys think about,
like the fraud that's been labeled on the autism centers here?
What do you guys do think about the fraud? Or
how come the autism centers are popping up? I can't
My name is that Nick. We're doing a little documentary
trying to find little Joey a spot to put himself
in one of these centers here because there's the fraud. Yeah,

(17:56):
because we want to make sure we're going to the
legit business. If we're gonna bring our little boy Joey here.
This is not a dust well that's our number on
you qu This is a you tell what you're gonn
excuse okay, thank you. So once again, little Joey he
can't even go to daycare and now they won't even
accept him, but he has autism.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
And again no kids, couldn't tell you how many kids
they serve.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
After being able to provide no evidence of them actually
being an autism center in a place where a child
could go, they shut the door and we headed to
the next fraudulent daycare center that was just around the corner.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
We're on to the next location. We're still trying to
find little Joey a place to go to get some daycare.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
So where we're going now is a place called super
Kids Daycare Center. Interestingly, this daycare center was shut down
when it was called Creative Mind's Daycare and it had
received two point four five million dollars this fiscal year
twenty twenty five. They had the shutdown because there were

(18:58):
so many violations, and they went and they just reopened
under a new license and they renamed the center super
Kids Daycare Center, LLC.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
So they got shut down then started another one literally
the next day Creative Mind's Daycare. Two point four or
five million dollars got sent to this daycare center.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
We have.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Empty parking lot. We do have a bus here. This
is different. We'll see if we see anybody.

Speaker 6 (19:23):
I knocked on the door. Absolutely nobody was inside, and
once again no children could be heard anywhere.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
So David, once again another child daycare center. We have
a bus out here, no one's inside, license for over
fifty kids, no children anywhere, but yet millions of dollars
every single year.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
So the sign says Creative Mind's Daycare. They got in
so much trouble. They had so many violations that they
had to shut down and they reopened the next day
under super Kids Daycare Center. You see thirty Portland thirty
eight oh one Portland, which is where we are.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
So that's fraud right there alone.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Millions and millions of dollars. And again the kids are missing.
Where are the kids?

Speaker 3 (20:11):
You'd think if they had the same address that whoever's
inside we're working at the capitol here inside of Minnesota,
would just say, oh, maybe that's a red flag.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
They just write the check. Human Services. They got to
clean out the whole bunch. They're the ones who enabled
this fraud. How can you not look and say, wait
a minute, this these two are registered at the same address.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
On top of all the childcare centers. That's just only
a small piece of the fraud. What other fraud of
the committee here in Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
So another major piece of the fraud is the home
healthcare industry. Where we're going now is a building that
has fourteen Smaly owned home healthcare companies in the same building.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Fourteen of the same healthcare companies in the one building.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Fourteen home healthcare companies with different names in the same building.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
How bad has Tim Waltz managed the budget here inside
of Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
So the last biennium we had an eighteen billion dollar surplus.
This biennium we have a six billion dollar deficit. That's
a twenty four billion dollar swing in one biennium. How
in the world can you burn through twenty four billion
dollars in two years? This is how right here. This

(21:29):
is a huge part of it.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
And so would you say a lot of that is
fraud that's taking place here in Minnesota?

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Absolutely, I would say better than ninety percent of it
is absolute, outright fraud.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
And a large percentage of this fraud is from these
healthcare companies that are charging the state millions of dollars
while they actually aren't providing anything. In fact, the FBI
just died a arraide a few days ago on a
building similar to the one we were about to enter.
Inside of this building, they were fourteen of nearly the
exact same businesses offering the exact same services. Right here,

(22:01):
you have a list of all of the healthcare companies,
loads of them right here. We want healthcare, Yes, we'd
like to speak about getting healthcare here? Why can't I
get healthcare here? Warning you are under video surveillance, no trespassing,
security armed. This is the strangest place I've ever been

(22:26):
to get healthcare. Just a bunch of different places. Healthcare here,
healthcare here, another healthcare company right here. There are three
healthcare companies inside of this building. Right here in this
room of seven C. Now we have another Helping Hands

(22:47):
home Care LLC, another healthcare company present help right here.
We're looking for the best rates of healthcare here inside
this building because we have so many options. Who can
we talk about getting the best healthcare?

Speaker 4 (22:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
No, all right, we will not get any health care here, David.
This is one of the stranger places I've ever been. Literally,
healthcare every door you go to, yet nobody will give
you a rate. How much money think has been funneled
through this building every year?

Speaker 2 (23:16):
I would say fifty to sixty millions at least.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
And finally we were accepted into one of the daycare
centers and they actually took down information to give us
a rate. However, when we left, we were then met
with the police.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
We received a complaint that tellen mentioning your description, we're
in this building harassing the individuals who stay here. Oh,
we're just seeing we're checking out the rates for healthcare
because there's fourteen healthcare companies inside this building.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
So okay, he said, he said, there's fourteen companies here,
and he's trying to assume because there's Somali.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Providers that everyone to your stradulent So we're gets here
with some kind of like propaganda.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
No, we're just checking this is this is a area
that we're allowed to enforce prespassing ordinance. Is there any
other reason that you guys are here, Well, we are
checking rates. We are checking rates. We asked for rates. Okay,
I'm gonna have if you guys grove it, we're gonna
set out that we all right, let's lease so all right,
we're getting escorted out right now. The police have arrived.

(24:14):
When we were checking out the rates, seeing what was
happening inside this building, and no one would really speak
with us. We did go inside the one daycare center
and she actually did give his rates for childcare. Much
respect to that lady. What's the problem, offstir well? So again,
were we've been getting reports from there now multiple individuals
that you guys were harassing individuals who are work here.
At the end of the day, this is private property

(24:35):
and it's one that people are allowed to ask you
to leave. And it's also in the Minneapolis Police Department
is allowed to enforce trespassing ordinance at this address.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
Yeah, so as we got escorted out of this building,
the Somali's filmed us as we left.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Now, the FBI Director Cash Patel has come out and
said not only is the FBI aware of the recent
social media reports in Minnesota, but he said even before
the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel
and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large scale fraud schemes.

(25:11):
Is the way that he described it, fraud that steals
from taxpayers and rob's vulnerable children. He then said, we'll
remain a top FBI priority in Minnesota and nationwide. To date,
he said, the FBI dismantled a two hundred and fifty
million dollar frauds game that stole federal food aid meant
for vulnerable children during COVID. The investigation exposed sham vendors,

(25:34):
shell companies, large scale money laundering tied to defeeding our
future network. The case has not only led to seventy
eight indictments in fifty seven convictions, but it had high
profile defendants that were busted for fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy.
He said these kernels didn't just engage in historic fraud,

(25:55):
but try to subvert justice as well. He gave an
example of Mohammed Nor and others that were charged for
attending to bribe a juror with one hundred and twenty
thousand dollars in cash. Those responsible pleaded guilty and we're sentenced,
including a ten year prison term and nearly forty eight
million in restitution and related cases. He said, the FBI

(26:17):
believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg.
We will continue to follow the money and protect children,
and this investigation very much remains ongoing. Furthermore, many are
also being referred to immigration officials for possible further denationalization
and deportation proceedings where eligible. So it's clear not only

(26:43):
is the President of United States of americaware of what's happening,
but he has made sure that those are in charge
of justice are fully involved in seeking it for every
taxpayer that's been defrauded. Don't forget to share this podcast,
