Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is a story that I'm about to tell you
that it's an incredibly important one. It is a fact
now that the FBI literally spied on not one, not two,
not three, four, five, six, seven, but eight GOP senators.
It was called a total analysis. That is the terminology
(00:24):
that's used by FBI investigators to analyze cellular call data
for federal probes. Think of it as link analysis that
shows patterns of communication location data as well as potential
targets network of associates. This should shock every single one
(00:47):
of you to a core. And these declassified records, as
the FBI Director Cash Bettel is now exposing code name
Arctic Frost was brought because of a whistle blower disclosures
to Senator Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson that showed nearly
one hundred conservative groups, including Turning Point USA, were part
(01:12):
of the probe. Now you have something that's even more shocking,
and that is not only was the FBI going after
conservative groups, but the FBI was spying on senators, and
some of those senators are now fighting back. Senator Ron
Johnson saying it this way in a statement earlier, I
was just briefed by the FBI's Dan Bongino that the
(01:35):
FBI and the Justice Department obtained call logs from eight
US Senators, including myself. We were surveilled simply for being Republicans.
This does not surprise me, but it should shock every American.
Senator Johnson continued. What the Biden administration has done is
(01:59):
an outrageous abuse of power. It is blatant political persecution.
Those responsible must be held fully accountable. Now you may
ask yourself what is in this actual document. The Federal
Bureau of Investigation unclassified document dated nine to twenty seven
(02:20):
of twenty twenty three puts it in a simple manner.
The FBI special agent with the name redacted, conducted preliminary
toll analysis on limited tolls records associated with the following
US senters Mike Kelly, Lindsey Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Holly,
(02:42):
Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, Ron Johnson, Cynthia Loomis, and Senator
Marsha Blackburn. You look at what I just explained to you,
and this is the weaponization literally of our federal government.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Right before.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
The other question is this, who were the FBI's supervisory
special agents and why are their names redacted. Who approved
the report and the surveillance of the US senators is
another question that should be asked. Markings indicate that the
FBI Washington Field Office was doing this during the Biden administration.
(03:26):
This also means that there was a team involved as well.
Anissa manages investigative teams and approves the reports that we
now are seeing. Toll analysis, as I mentioned, is used
to analyze cellular data and the call details for federal probes.
This is a highly revealing investigative tool. It exploits all
(03:50):
the patterns of the targets or the people involved in
the communication investigation, and it also is incredibly invasive because
it would look at the location data of those senators
that were being spied on. Now, several of these senators
decided to have a press conference that were the targets
(04:13):
that were spied on. Senator Grassley was the first to speak,
and I'm going to play it for you. Listen to
what they had to say that.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
We can find for the solicitation of these telephone records,
which I think emphasizes the political weaponization that was behind
all this effort. And we were still getting more information,
(04:40):
but we've released some records today, and I'll let Senator
Johnson take over from here, and then each one of
you colleagues can join in when you want to whatever
you want to say.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
First of all, I want to thank Sender Grassley. It
is because of his relentless advocacy for whistleblowers did a
lot of this information surfacing right now. We wouldn't know
about the list of one hundred Republican entities that were
targeted by Jack Smith Arctic Frost's investigation.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
I don't think we know about this as well, so
we need whistleblowers.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
I think Dan Bongino and folks of the FBI they
don't know where all the records are hidden. They still don't.
They're not necessarily getting huntrecent cooperation, but this is outrageous
what has happened. I just want to give you a
timeline this. I think you've already got the FBI sheet
that shows the number of members of Congress that were
targeted Representative Kelly Sandra's Graham, Haggerty, Holly Sullivan, Tuberville, myself,
(05:36):
Santa Lummis, and Blackburn. This memo was dated September of
twenty twenty three. To put it all into context, the
mar Lago raid occurred in August of twenty twenty two.
Jack Smith announced the indictments against President Trump in August
of twenty twenty three, so this is almost two months later.
(05:58):
They're casting this net, this fishing accident expedition against members
of the Senate in the House. Again, I've been investigating
this with Sender Grassley. This doesn't surprise me, but it
should shock every American of what the Biden administration has done.
(06:20):
And by the way, this is the first time I
was targeted by the FBI under the Obama administration. The
same thing happened to both Sender Grassley and I as
part of the Foreign Foreign Influenced Task Force. We were
giving a com a briefing to try and convince us
that the Hunter Biden laptop was no big deal, basically
trying to throw us off the track. So this is
(06:41):
major corruption just being revealed inside the Obama and Biden
Department Justice, the FBI. And I'll turn it over to
I guess Senator Haggerty, who's you know, one of the
one of the individuals. Again, none of us were subject
to targets this investigation. There's no predicate, there's no reason
for this. Other than a fishing expedition, which again should
outrage and shock every American.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
Senator Hageity, thank you, Senator Johnson and Chairman Grassley, thank
you for your leadership in making this happen. This is
an extraordinary revelation that just took place this afternoon. My
colleagues and I found out all of US Republicans by
the way that we were placed under investigation by this
FBI under the Joe Biden FBI that was led I
presume by Jack Smith and his predecessors. This isn't the
(07:25):
first time that it's happened, though. Senator Johnson just mentioned this.
I served on the Trump transition team in Trump Tower
in twenty sixteen. Senator Blackburn was vice chair of the
transition committee then. As we're probably a dozen or more
members of Congress to think that we were all surveiled
back then by the Obama FBI. This corruption to run deep,
(07:46):
runs deep, and it's gone on for far too long.
And the fact that it's happened here again, the fact
that they are looking at our records in twenty twenty
three sitting members of the United States Senate. Again, the
only thing that we have in common, the only thing
in common in this entire list is that we're all Republicans.
They've decided to come out for us. This is as
partisan as it gets. The FBI and the corruption's running
(08:06):
there has to be cleared out. Thank god, we have cash,
hotel and Dan Bongino there. This has to be addressed,
It has to be resolved, It needs to happen today.
Speaker 7 (08:16):
What we know is this that the FBI under Joe
Biden and under Barack Obama, that they exercised activity that
they had no authority to exercise. And as Senator Haggardy mentioned,
we know what they did in twenty sixteen to the
(08:37):
Trump transition team. And now we find out that after
the mar A Lago raid, after the indictment of President Trump,
they surveil US people who support President Trump, members who
are all Republicans.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
But it shows.
Speaker 7 (08:59):
You how out of control and rotten to the core
and politicized the FBI had become, and how they had
absolutely no problem at all whatsoever with political weaponization. We
appreciate the information we've gotten today. We look forward to
(09:21):
further investigation on this.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
You just heard from many of those that were targeted
by the FBI. As you heard Bill Haggerty say, we
are sitting members of Congress, and by the way we
now have weren't.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
It's not just senators.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
There was also a representative that had their private communications
tracked by the former Special Council Jack Smith under the
Biden administration. The FBI Director Cash Betel also revealing files
obtained by Fox News show that Smith, in his official
capacity at the Department of Justice, as he investigated Donald
(10:02):
Trump and the events of January sixth, twenty twenty one,
decided to not only track the phone calls of Lindsey Graham,
Marsha Blackburn, Ron Johnson, Josh Holly, Cynthia Loomis, Bill Haggerty,
Dan Sullivan, Tommy Turverville, but also we now have learned
Republican Representative Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania. The alarming document revealing
(10:22):
that Smith and his Arctic Frost team had subpoena telephone
providers for the lawmakers records in twenty twenty three was
recently discovered by Patel. Patel confirmed the legitimacy of the
findings in an ex post, writing, we recently uncovered proof
that phone records of US lawmakers were seized for political
(10:44):
purposes that abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership,
the FBI will deliver truth and accountability and never again
be weaponized against the American people. That abuse of power
ends now seems to be the mantra, unfortunately, that is
needed by this administration to make sure that these bad
(11:06):
actors are exposed and rooted out. Finally, you also heard
one other thing that was really important that was mentioned there.
We need listle blowers. You heard that from Senator Johnson.
He is asking for others to come forward that may
know about abuse of power that was happening in the
deep State and letting them know there's a safe place
(11:27):
to bring it. Bongino, we also know brief the impact
of the lawmakers on Monday afternoon and said that it
is a disgrace that he's having to sit there and
show what he has found. It is a disgrace that
I have to stand on Capitol Hill and reveal this
that the FBI was once weaponized to track the private
(11:47):
communications of US lawmakers for political purposes. That era is over.
Several of the senators who have allegedly been spot on
not only spoke at the press conference which you do heard,
but said that they are also going to be looking
into this from a congressional standpoint, and to put it
(12:08):
just an overall perspective for you, Senator Holly called Smith's
actions not only an abuse of power, beyond Watergate, beyond
ja Eggar Hoover, one that directly strikes, he said, at
the Constitution, the separation of powers and the First Amendment.
And thank goodness that President Donald Trump has put great
(12:28):
men in charge of the FBI to root out this
pure evil that is inside of it. Are you one
of those that is just so tired of giving your
money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting
against your values every day? Well, there are certain bills
that you pay every month that if you can go
with a conservative company, why not do it? In fact,
(12:51):
why not go with a conservative company actually takes part
of your bill every month that you're going to pay
to somebody, and they give it back to organizations that
support your first, First and your Second Amendment rights, that
support the rights of unborn children, that stand with our military,
are first responders and so many wounded warriors that need help. Well,
(13:12):
that bill I'm talking about is your cell phone bill.
And I've been telling you for a long time about
Patriot Mobile. But there's no better time to switch than
right now. Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all
three major networks in this country, yeah, all three. That
means you get the same great coverage you're used to
right now, but you also make a difference with every
(13:33):
call you make and every text you make.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
And why would you want to give your mondy a
big mobile?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Big Mobile has been giving big donations to democratic causes,
democratic candidates, and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations
that actually support abortion. That is why I want you
to switch right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and
make the switch, and it's so easy. All you have
(13:59):
to do is simply all Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent
US based team from the comfort of your home or
your office, and they'll have you activated minutes. And if
you're still locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots
Mobile contract buyout program covers up to five hundred dollars
per device. Keep your same number, keep your phone, or
upgrade do a new one. So back to my point,
(14:20):
what are you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and
make a difference every single day with every call you make.
Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot
com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot. And
if you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get
a free month of service on top of that Patriot
(14:42):
mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven two Patriot.
That's Patriot mobile dot com slash ferguson or ninety seven
to two Patriot. Attorney General Pambondi testified before the Senate
and it got very heated because Democrats refuse to admit
the obvious, the exposing of the Department of Justice, the
(15:04):
FBI weaponizing itself to go after Republicans. Sitting members of
the Congress. Now, there was a very interesting moment that
happened with Senator Holly, and I want you to hear
what Senator Grassley had to say before he spoke about
the spying on our men and women in the Republican
(15:25):
Party who were elected to serve their country and the
United States Congress.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Listen carefully.
Speaker 8 (15:31):
Hally, without objection, introduced two documents into the record. First
one is the Expanded Scope of Arctic Frost. The second
document is a list of Republican groups and people that
Arctic frost targeted, including Charlie Kirk's group Turning Point USA.
(15:52):
These documents show the political weaponization of the Biden administration
against Republicans.
Speaker 9 (15:58):
Senator Hawley, thank you very much, mister Chairman. Attorney General
BONDI good to see you. Welcome. I've been listening closely
in this hearing, and I've heard over and over from
my Democrat colleagues concerns about targeting political enemies, and they've
accused you of all manner of things and the current president.
I've also heard them said, and I just wrote it
down because I wanted to be sure I heard it correctly.
I've heard them say that Joe Biden never targeted his
(16:21):
political enemies. Joe Biden never directed his attorney general to
target his political opponents.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
Huh.
Speaker 9 (16:28):
That's interesting because I could have sworn that. Yesterday we
learned that the FBI tap my phone.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
Let's look at it. We've got a list.
Speaker 9 (16:38):
Tap my phone, tap Lindsay Graham's phone, tapped, Marshall Blackburn's
phone tapped five other phones of United States senators.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
Gee, it sure looks like.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
Targeting political opponents to me, and yet I haven't heard
a word from that side of the dais about any
concern whatsoever. We've got nothing but concerns today, but no
concern at all for a Justice Department that is tapping
the phones of sitting United States.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
Senators because who knows why? They don't like them.
Speaker 9 (17:10):
They're members of the opposition party, They're Republicans, they're conservatives.
You've seen this document, Attorney General Bonnie, What was going
on here?
Speaker 5 (17:18):
Who ordered this? Who ordered the tapping of the phones
of the United States senators?
Speaker 10 (17:22):
Senator Holly. I cannot discuss the details of that right
now for very good reason.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
You're going to do a thorough investigation into this, I trust.
Is that correct.
Speaker 10 (17:31):
We will be looking at all aspects of this, and
I have talked to Director Pateel at length.
Speaker 9 (17:35):
And you're going to figure out who was involved in this,
who signed off on it, who knew about it. You're
going to get to the bottom of all of it.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Is it correct?
Speaker 8 (17:44):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (17:44):
And I've spoken to Director Patel about it, and he
is committed to doing this.
Speaker 9 (17:48):
Well. I can tell you we already know many of
the details. We already know that this was ordered by
the Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, who reported directly to the
Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland. And we
know the Jack Smith was on his witch hunt because
he was directed to do so by the President of
the United States, Joe Biden. Let's just remember, let's take
(18:10):
a walk down memory lane. April second, twenty twenty two,
The New York Times. Garland faces growing pressure. The time
says as recently as late last year, that would have
been twenty twenty one, mister Biden confided to his inner
servile he believed former President Trump was a threat to
democracy and should be prosecuted. It goes on to say
that Garland that the Biden rather was frustrated with Garland
(18:31):
and wanted him to take decisive action against Trump. Here's
what we're talking about. Trump, of course, was a private
citizen at the time. So he appoints his own hitman,
Jack Smith, who goes after the president, former president, who
goes after members of this body.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
You know.
Speaker 9 (18:51):
The thing about it, though, that really strikes me, is
is that it didn't stop with members of the United
States Senate. Did an Attorney general body. It didn't stop here
at all. I mean, just as egregious, maybe more so,
than tapping the phones of US senators is this memo
that I know you've seen before. Let's just look at
it again. This is an FBI memo from the same
time period, I might add, from the same time period
(19:14):
in which the Federal Bureau of Investigation attempts to recruit
informants into Catholic parishes in this country. So here you
have an administration that is activating the FBI against its
political opponents and tapping the phones of United States senators.
Can I just say that again for my colleagues, for
the benefit of my colleagues on the other side of
the dais tapping the phones of United States senators. This
(19:37):
isn't hypothetical, This isn't maybe what will you do in
the future. This isn't og Can you imagine the situation
this happened, This happened, and this happened, the targeting of
Catholics in this country because Joe Biden and his FBI
didn't like Catholics who went to a certain kind of mass.
I mean, good God in Heaven, what is happening to
(20:00):
this country? What happened under Joe Biden? Or then how
about this the infamous school board memo where Merrick Garland,
at the direction of the White House issued a memo
activating the FBI's counter Terrorism Division against parents who attended
school board meetings and had the temerity to ask what
their kids were being taught, and some of those parents
(20:22):
were treated like this.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Let's just remember.
Speaker 9 (20:25):
Let's remember how parents were treated treated like this man,
a parent at a school board meeting I think in Virginia,
who was drug out of the school board meeting. He's
bloody there, you can see it. And what was the
response of Joe Biden's DOJ and FBI. It was to
issue a memorandum saying that people like this ought to
be investigated by the counter terrorism Unit, and unbelievably they were.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
They were.
Speaker 9 (20:53):
Or how about this, Let's remember Mark Hawk and the
pro lifers who were prosecuted for what for going to
a clinic, an abortion clinic, in praying on a sidewalk
outside of the abortion clinic. This is Mark Hawk and
his beautiful family at mass. This man at the direction
of Joe Biden's FBI, this man had an FBI SWAT
(21:13):
team come to his door in the early morning hours
with his beautiful children there, terrorizing them with weapons drawn.
He was then arrested and prosecuted Unfortunately, a jury acquitted him.
This is what was happening under Joe Biden. United States
(21:34):
senators spied upon former presidents, the political opponents of the
president of the time, targeted prosecuted pro lifers, targeted, prosecuted Catholics, targeted, prosecuted,
ninety two conservative organizations put under surveillance, targeted for potential prosecution. Gee,
I don't know. Would you call that an example of weaponization?
(21:58):
Attorney General Bonnie, do you think that's a fair care transition?
Speaker 10 (22:01):
Senator Holly? That is the ultimate weaponization, and weaponization under
Donald Trump has ended.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
It has ended.
Speaker 10 (22:09):
Harmeat Dylan is running our civil rights unit, and she
is doing an incredible job. No longer will parents be targeted.
No longer will parents who care about whether their elementary
school children have to read a transgender book be targeted
and told they cannot have any say in their child's education.
(22:32):
That has ended under this administration. People can worship freely,
whether they're Catholics at synagogues or Muslims. Everyone can worship freely.
That was the ultimate weaponization. They were targeting Catholics. No longer.
They have been targeting so many American citizens throughout this
country and Senator Holly, you have been a champion of this,
(22:55):
and thank you for being a champion of that. But
under Donald Trump's watch it You know, I.
Speaker 9 (23:01):
Think about some of the abuses of power in this
country's history, and there's been sadly a lot of them
by members of the executive branch over the years. Whether
it's Watergate, whether it's what Jaye or Hoover did in
his time at the FBI spying on many public figures,
are FKA, MLKJFK, you name it. And I just have
to say, what we now know happened in the last
four years under this administration surpasses all of that. It
(23:24):
surpasses all of it, not just for the interference in
the legislative branch, not just for the blatant disregard for
the separation of powers, not just for the blatant disregard
for the First Amendment, but for the targeting of ordinary
American citizens who can't afford lawyers, who can't afford to
mount a defense, who when the FBI knocks at their
door or comes with the swat team, they don't know
what to do.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
It is absolutely a disgrace.
Speaker 9 (23:47):
It is a stain on the history of this country
and on the conscience of this country what this administration
did in the last four years.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
So here's what I think needs to happen.
Speaker 9 (23:56):
Man Attorney General, I think we need a special prosecutor
to be appointed whose sole responsibility will be to get
to the bottom of what has happened in every instance
that I have just named.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Senator Holly calling for a special prosecutor. Pam Bondi talking
about the weaponization of the government and saying that those
who did it will be held accountable, especially if they
were breaking the law. And it's also very clear that
this is a moment where this administration is saying no
longer will this be allowed or acceptable, And if you
(24:29):
did it in the past, we are going to bring
it to the light of day, and we are going
to investigate it. And this is exactly why so many
are happy President Trump and the people he's chosen to
put in positions of power which are now leading to
real accountability. Did you see that gold just hit an
all time new high of over four thousand dollars an
(24:53):
ounce And if you hear that, you're like, are you
kidding me? And you're thinking, gosh, I missed my opportunity well,
if you missed your opportunity. But my friends at kirk
Elliott Precious Medals they can answer that question for you.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
You also may not.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Be paying attention to the incredible gains with silver that
are happening right now as well, and that's why I
trust the guidance of the team at kirk Elliott. In fact,
I literally just got a hundred ounce bar of silver
the other day. And the reason why is because after
I talk to the team at kirk Elliott Precious Medals,
(25:27):
they let me understand exactly where I could have a
big upside in investing in silver.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Now.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
The other part that I love about them is this
they have transparent pricing. There are a lot of gold
companies that you'll hear about if you listen to talk
radio or podcasts or watch TV, but do they tell
you how the pricing actually works well. At kirk Elliott,
they're real simple, just eight percent when you buy and
(25:54):
zero commissions when you sell, with no hidden fees. Ever,
that is the other reason why I recommend them to
all of you. They also don't sell you quote rare
coins or precious coins that you pay insane markups on
and then when you go to sell them you find
out they're really not worth that much.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
They are a bollyon only approach.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
They focus on investment grade medals, no overpriced collectibles, no gimmicks.
That means you get more gold or silver for your
money at fair value when it's time for you to sell.
So if you're ready to find out if gold and
silver is right for you in your portfolio, then call
them and get a plan. You can visit them at

Speaker 1 (27:03):
The FBI Director Cashpattel has fired agents involved in tracking
the phone calls of eight Republican senators and a congressman
as part of the former Special Council Jack Smiths investigation,
a sham investigation, and to President Donald J. Trump communication
(27:25):
records belonging to GOP sentators Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn, Ron Johnson,
Josh Hawley, Cynthia Loomis, Bill Haggerty, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville,
and representative Mike Kelly, we know now for a fact,
we're handed over to Smith's Arctic Frost team after they
(27:49):
subpoenaed major phone companies in twenty twenty three. The fact
was unknown to the public until this week when Cashpttel
the FBI director saying he discovered the files hidden in
a lock box that was placed in a vault in
a cyber place where no one can see or search
(28:12):
these files.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
The FBI director saying, this.
Speaker 11 (28:17):
It in a lock box, put that lock box in
a vault, and then put that vault in a cyber
place where no one can see or search these files.
They're called restricted access and prohibited access. Restricted access means
some people get to see it. Prohibited access you put
it in there when you want to hide it from
the world, and that takes the authorization of the Attorney
(28:37):
General and the director of the FBI. So not only
did they weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got
in there, and when I got in as the FBI director,
from my experience as Russia Gate, I knew where to
look and what rooms to open and what doors to
kick down. And that's what we did. We found this
information to expose to politicization by Jacksmith and the prior
Department of Justice. I mean, just think about it. Eight
(28:58):
city United States senators phone records were gathered in subpoena
through the grand jury process, and it was buried and wormholed.
It was the hope that no one would find it.
So we're just scratching the surface here, but accountability is coming.
We are finding every single person involved. We will not
leave a single room locked. We will go in through
all the prohibited access requirements and we will find the
(29:20):
material and show the American public like we have done
in this FBI more transformative and transparent than any in
the US history, to bring accountability to the American people.
And we will work with our partners in Congress, who
should be furious at the prior administration's leadership and weaponization
in singular politicization of law enforcement. The American public sees
what we're doing, Sean with the statue just right off
in the beginning. They see what we're doing here to
(29:43):
unseal the vault and show the world how the deep
state actually operated.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Cash Betel making it clear this is the beginning, not
the end. And if you go back and you actually
look at what he said quote you put it in
there and when you want to hide it from the world,
and that takes the authorization of the Attorney General and
the director of the FBI. So not only did they
weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got in there,
(30:13):
and when I got to in as the FBI director,
from my experience as Russia Gate, I knew where to
look and what rooms to open and what doors to
knock down.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
And that is what we did.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
So if you want to know why the President of
the United States of America decided to pick Caspitel.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
To do this job, it is exactly for this reason.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
And it goes back to what else he had to say, saying, quote,
we found this information to expose the politicalization.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
By Jack Smith.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Members this guy in charge of special counsel weaponizing our
government to go after Donald Trump and the prior Department
of Justice, he added, before revealing that he fired the
agents who facilitated the secret investigations into City. US law
makers now Holly by the Way Center. Holly, one of
(31:05):
the senators who had his phone calls tracked by the
Biden administration's DOJ, called Smith's subpoena an abuse of power
beyond Watergate. Beyond Jaeger Hoover, one that directly strikes at
the Constitution, the separations of power and the First Amendment.
(31:25):
Holly also said it's time for there to be a
special counsel, saying, quote, we need a full investigation of
all involved, who knew about it, who ordered it, and
who approved it. Anyone and everyone who violated the law
must be prosecuted. The way to save the country is
(31:46):
to restore the rule of law.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
The senator said.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Now, the US Office a Special Counsel, the OSC, in
August opened an investigation into Jack Smith, who may have
unlawfully targeted President Trump, and that may be where this
investigation is going next. Now, there's another story that I
also want to talk to you about, and it deals
with abuse of power. New York Attorney General Leticia James,
(32:13):
a story the media is having to cover right now because,
let's be honest, she built much of her political career
on one thing, trying to put Donald Trump behind bars,
attacking Donald Trump. She even raised money off of attacking
Donald Trump, instaid if she was elected she would.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Go after Donald Trump. Well.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Now she has been indicted on a bank fraud charge
by a federal grand jury in Virginia. The Grand Jury
in the Eastern District of Virginia returned the indictment on Thursday.
Earlier this year, the Justice Department confirmed an investigation into
Leticia James over what was described as alleged mortgage fraud.
(32:58):
The probe centers on claims she misrepresented property records and
loan application to secure more favorable financing. By the way,
that is against the law. According to letter from the
Federal Housing Finance Director, James allegedly made false statements on
multiple documents, meaning that you can see clearly if she
(33:22):
was lying. That includes listing a Virginia property as her
primary residence when it was in fact not filing Brooklyn
records showing her multifamily building had five units instead of four.
That would be what would be categorized as fraud. Submitting
(33:44):
a mortgage application claiming she was her father's spouse pretty
easy to, you know, prove that that wasn't actually true.
Now James has been under scrutiny for at least one
suspected instance of misrepresentation an investment property as her primary
or secondary residence, a move that could save thousands in
(34:07):
interest rates as well. The case is being held by
the US Attorney Lindsay Halligan, a Trump appointee. Halligan, by
the way, is new and replaced Eric Siebert, who has
ousted after reportly showing reluctance to pursue cases one against
James and the former FBI director James Comey. Both obviously
(34:30):
are individuals that people believe have abused their power, and
there are people that say, I'm one of them, that
it's time to hold those accountable who have lied and
weaponized our government. Now James has responded, and here is
part of what she had to say about the indictment.
Speaker 12 (34:48):
This is nothing more than a continuation of the President's
desperate weaponization of our justice system.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
He is forcing federal law.
Speaker 12 (34:57):
Enforcement agencies to do his bidding, all because I did
my job as a New York State attorney general. These
charges are baseless, and the president's own public statements make
clear that his only goal is political retribution at any cost.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Let's be clear, Patitia James is the one who has
literally said before that if you would just vote for
and get her in office, she's going to take down
Donald Trump. So much for acting like you're not going
after your political enemies. We also are getting to witness
what the media is doing with this, and they're covering
it as big breaking news, but they're also trying to
(35:40):
see can they spin it to hurt Donald Trump, claiming
he's just going after his political enemies and acting as
if somehow mortgage fraud is not a big deal. Here's
how they broke the news on CNN.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
CNN Breaking News.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
Welcome to the lead.
Speaker 13 (35:57):
I'm Jake Tapper, and we start with shocking breaking news
in our Law and Justice Lee. Just moments ago to
two sources telling CNN that the Justice Department indicted yet
another one of President Trump's perceived political opponents. This time
it was New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James. She
was charged in a federal court in a grand jury
(36:18):
in Alexandria, Virginia. Today, you will remember James brought civil
fraud charges alleging financial fraud against Trump and his adult
sons in his real estate business in New York back
in twenty twenty two. A judge found them lible and
ordered a three hundred and fifty fifty five million dollar fine,
which Trump appealed. And this obviously comes in the context
(36:38):
of President Trump demanding that the Eastern District of Virginia,
the US Attorney there carry out orders to go after
his political opponents. James Comey, who has been indicted Letitia James,
who as of today has been indicted. Democratic Senator Adam
Schiff is the third that he mentioned in that public
truth social post at the Wall Street General Reports was
(37:00):
accidentally hosted publicly was meant to be a private message
to his Attorney General, Pam BONDI with me here in
New York scene.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
By the way, let's just stop there.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Isn't amazing that they actually overlook the crimes that these
people are accused of committing. And isn't amazing that the
same people that were screaming when Donald Trump was indicted
on ridiculous and bogus charges, saying well, he's been charged,
he's going to be a raided, he's gonna have a
mug shot, he's going to be in court, are now
acting as if this is all news that you should
(37:29):
just look the other way on There is one, by
the way, one of those that was a part of
the hoax January sixth Committee, a guy by the name
of Adam Kinzinger, who is at least somewhat honest on
CNN about this fraud mortgage fraud charge against Latissa James,
and I want you to hear what he said.
Speaker 13 (37:48):
That people's trusted our system, Congressman, I mean, lived by
the sword, die by the sword.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Is that the way the system should be?
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Did?
Speaker 6 (37:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (37:58):
I mean, look, I.
Speaker 5 (37:58):
Think two days can be true here.
Speaker 14 (38:00):
I think the first thing is Letitia James never should
have made those comments. She never should have run on.
I'm going to go after him before she's seen the evidence,
before she's had anything that was wrong, not illegal, that
was wrong. And then at the same time, there is
no doubt and I mean we can argue about it,
but there's no doubt that this thing went They went
(38:23):
after her specifically for retribution, specifically because.
Speaker 8 (38:28):
It was her.
Speaker 14 (38:28):
I mean, all you have to do is read the
President's accidental fake tweet or whatever thing that's called posts
and know that he was basically saying, Pam, here are
two people we have to go after. And then all
of a sudden, boy, just miraculously, a new person comes
in after the other person said that they didn't have
enough to make a case and get indicted. This thing,
(38:49):
probably like Comy's, is either going to be thrown out.
I'm not a lawyer, so who knows either be thrown
out before trial or certainly will will be seen as
what it is, which is but I think we can
hold Anderson. Both things are true. Letitia James never should
have said that in the campaign. And also they are
going after her for one reason because it's her.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
So there you have it.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Wetessa James as well, you know, probably did something wrong
and you know, maybe she didn't commit mortgage fraud, but hey,
they shouldn't go after because she went after them first
in a political way. That is some weird leftist logic.
But the one thing that we can be sure about
is this. Donald Trump ran on and said he was
(39:35):
going to hold those accountable who abuse their positions of
power to go after their political enemies. And what we're
witnessing right now is the deep state crumbling, and those
that went after the president only for political reasons are
now being held accountable for their own actions that apparently
now include mortgage fraud. Don't forget share this podcast please
(40:00):
with your family and your friends wherever they are, and
I will see you back here tomorrow
