Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is two am as I am recording this for
you right now Eastern Standard time, and it is incredible
to watch what is happening in Israel right now. Red
Cross teams have already begun retrieving the captive who've been held,
many of them underground for more than two years. In fact,
many of them may not have even realized they were

(00:22):
being rescued until they were put into the Red Cross vehicles.
The initial batch of seven have been handed over early
this morning, and the full transfer is expected by noon
local time in Israel. Now, as I am doing this
show right now, we are witnessing the emotional moment after

(00:42):
more than two years of anguish since the October seventh
teer attack that claimed more than one thy two hundred
Israeli lives and saw two hundred and fifty one people
abducted as hostages. In exchange for this moment, Israel will
free approximately two one thousand Palestinian prisoners were being told,

(01:03):
including two hundred and fifty serving long sentences and one thousand,
seven hundred detained during the conflict. Alongside the return of
twenty eight hostage bodies, the recovering the remains of the
remaining deceised captives may extend beyond today, were being told.
We also know that the president will be landing soon

(01:26):
and greeted upon his arrival by the Israeli Prime Minister
net and Yahoo and the Israeli President as well. I
want you to hear the moment as it was told
on CNN about the Israeli crowd cheering at the top
of their lungs at Hostage Square upon the announcement of
seven hostages who are alive being delivered to the Red Cross. Wolfe.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
I can tell you because it happened just moments ago.
When the announcement came that the hostages were in the
hands of the Red Cross, this entire crowd cheered at
the top of their bombs of surprise. Honestly, you couldn't
hear it from the rooftop of the hotel where you
are now. It was extraordinary. We have seen this square,

(02:15):
which has become a sort of vocal point before the
movement to bring their hostages home, just fill up in
the last few hours. Some people came here as early
as four or five in the morning before sunrise to
guarantee that they could get themselves a place to witness
history walk because that is what is happening here now.

(02:39):
There are many thousands of people who are here. You
can see that brok behind me, black clock marks every second,
every minute, every hour, every day that these hostages have
been held in captivity. And now, for the first time,
Israeli's really starting to embrace the very real possibility that

(03:04):
that clock will finally stop with the arrival of these
twenty hostages. And I will say, you can probably feel
just the shift even then. Well, if you go from
moments of elation where the crowd is cheering, to moments
of real quiet, of real sadness, of real grief, we

(03:26):
see a lot of tears in the crowd, a lot
of emotion, a lot of posters as well for the
hostages who will not be coming home alive today, have
been killed in captivity, who will be coming home in coffins.
And so you feel this sort of extraordinary wave of

(03:50):
different emotions with Israelis, of all different political ideologies and
backgrounds coming together in a display of unity, of joy,
of grief, of sadness. There's a sense of serenity and comments.

(04:11):
But such a long wait for these people, for these families,
for the hostages who have been released and who I'm
championed tirelessly around the clock to see all their fellow
hostages home. And now we wait for the moment that
these people, the entire country and the entire world will

(04:32):
finally hear the words that those hostages are back in Israel. Wolf.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
We're also being told again as I'm doing this after
two am Eastern time in the morning, that the Red
Cross has now handed the first seven hostages who are
still alive over to the Israeli military. This again is
another moment where we now know these hostages will be safe.

(05:01):
We also know that the Benjamin Netnaho had this to
say earlier today about how we got to where we are. Now,
you are going to hear NETANYAHUO speak first, Then you
are going to hear Jared Kushner, the President's son in law,
who worked on this deal as well. And then finally

(05:22):
you are going to hear from another person, Steve Whitkoff,
and you're going to hear all of what they had
to say at a joint press conference about how we
got to this moment. Listen carefully, We're.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
At a amendous development. In the last two years. We
fought doing these two years to the achievea warreams in
Central One of these warreams is to maternity osages, all
of the osages, the living in the d and we're
about to achieve that group. We couldn't live a chief

(05:56):
without the extraordinary help President Conference, Steve Whitcomb and Garant Pushman.
They worked tirelessly with Ron and his team, our team
UH and UH that and the courage of our soldiers
who UH entered Gaza, and the combined military and diplomatic

(06:18):
pressure that isolated the class I think as bodies. To
this point, I wanna personally thank both of you, Steve
Jareded UH spend long hours work round the clock, but

(06:39):
not only worked. I I think you you put in
your UH, your brains and your hearts, and we know
that it's UH for the benefit of Israel and the
United States, for the benefit of UH decent people living there,
and for the benefit of these families who will finally
get to be with our mothers. And I want to

(07:00):
thank you on their be out as well to behalfy
for people who act you with ALM.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Obviously bringing the hostages his home is a It's been
a priority for President Trump for a very very long
time and and we've all worked very.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Tirelessly to do that.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
But I really want to say that this all would
not have been possible without the bravery of the IDEF
and the soldiers. What they've accomplished not just in Gaza,
but also what they've done in the theater over the
last couple of years to eliminate has belond the North
and really degrade them. What you were able to do
in Iran it really helps set a big tone. But

(07:39):
particularly seeing the way that your citizen army, I know
a lot of you, probably all of you have family
friends who are in this effort. You know, really, you know,
put your sacrifices on the line to fight for your
country and to try and try to make a difference.
I think that made a very very big difference in there,
and I wanna just give a very very special thanks
to mister Natanyahu, who really did an incredible job with

(08:03):
this and did a great job to negotiations. You held
your lines firm, and I think that between you and
President Trump you had a lot of alignment on what the.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
End state should be.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
The hardest job was the Prime Minister's. He had the
job of protecting this country. He had the job of
making tough choices with regard to how tough to be
with Hamas, when to be flexible, when not to be flexible.
I think to myself all the time, I lost sleepover it.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
What would I have done.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
In some of those circumstances. There were times that I
thought we should be more flexible, what your country should
be more flexible? But the truth is, as I look back,
I don't think we get to this place without Prime
Minister Nanyahu playing it. I'm not just saying that, not

(08:56):
just words. The President believes that, My president believes it
believes that Prime Minister Netnyaku made some very very difficult calls,
and lesser people would not have made those calls. And
here we are today because Amas had to. They had
to do this deal. The pressure was on them.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
They were backed up.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
And you've got the bigger army. You were making inroads
and that's what led to this deal.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Now, there are many leaders around the world, and many
that are being honest about how incredible this moment is
and how it would have not happened without the leadership
of President Trump, who was clearly able to do something
that the Biden administration never even got close to. Accomplishing
and this is a moment where politics shouldn't actually matter.
There are very few in the Democratic Party that are

(09:46):
putting politics aside. One of those was actually Hillary Clinton,
and here's what she had to say to the world
about what is being accomplished right now.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
It's a really significant first s depth and I really
commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab
leaders in the region for making the commitment to the
twenty point plan and seeing a path forward for what's

(10:19):
often called the day After. Most importantly, the conflict hopefully
will end with the ceasefire, the hostages will be returned,
and then the very hard work of rebuilding Gaza, of
finding the kind of security that Israel and the Palestinians

(10:40):
after Hamas deserved to have. Moving forward with the other
points in the plan to try to create an opportunity
for Palestinians to have a better life and for Israel
to have greater peace and security. I am very hopeful
that we'll be able to see progress. Today's a good start,

(11:03):
but we have to keep going from here.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
So this is where we are now at two ten
am in the morning. We are expecting more hostages to
be handed over and by the time you hear this,
hopefully all twenty of the living hostages will be returned
to Israel. We are also expecting that the President United
States of America and Netanyahu will have a lot to
say about this moment after he lands, and I promise

(11:28):
you I will have all of it for you. So
make sure you hit that subscriber auto download button and
share this forty seven special update wherever you can on
social media. Pray for the hostages, pray for their families,
and also pray for those whose loved ones are being returned.
Unfortunately that we're killed that were murdered by these terrasts.

(11:51):
There are many that are going to be grieving and
are going to be sad, and are going to be
wishing that it was theirs that was still alive one
instead of being the remains being returned. Our thoughts and
prayers with the people in Israel and so many that
lost their loved ones because of this horrific attack on
the Jewish people. Every so often something happens that reminds

(12:16):
us just how fragile our freedoms are. We can't afford
to take our rights for granted. We must draw a
line in the sand and our friends at Patriot Mobile
have been doing just that for more than twelve years.
The truth is there is only one provider that boldly
stands in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is
worth fighting for, and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not

(12:39):
only are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing
the competition and technology. Patriot Mobile is one of the
only carriers offering premium access to all three major US networks,
giving you nationwide coverage and service that you can count
on day after day. They also offer unlimited data plans,

(13:01):
mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet back up, in so much more,
and switching has never been easier. You can activate in
minutes on your phone from your home or your office
and you keep your same number. You've got now keep
your same phone, or upgrade to a new one. And
this is where the magic happens. Every month, about five

(13:21):
percent of your bill is given back to conservative causes
at no extra cost to you that stand up for
our First and our Second Amendment rights, the rights of
unborn children, and are wounded warriors and those that have
fought for a country and wear a badge. So take
a stand today and make a difference with every call
you make. Patriot mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine

(13:45):
to seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code ferguson

Patriot and make the switch and make a difference with
every call you make. President Donald Trump has set off
for Israel and Egypt on Sunday to celebrate the US

(14:08):
broker ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas and
to urge Middle East allies to seize the opportunity to
build a durable peace in the volatile region. Now you
think about that, and it's pretty incredible that we're even
having this conversation because you have a president that said,

(14:29):
I'm going to take on the impossible. That's what I'm
going to do. Well, not only did President Trump set
off to do this, but he knows it's a fragile
moment with Israel and Hamas only in the early stages
of implementing the first phase of the Trump Agreement, designed
to bring a permanent end to the war that sparked

(14:50):
the October seventh attack on Israel, which has lit all
of this on fire by the Hamas and Ran backed militants.
Trump thinks there's a narrow window to reshape the Middle
East and reset long, well tough relations between Israel and
its Arab neighbors. It is in a moment, the Republican

(15:13):
president says that has been helped along by his administration's
support of Israel's decision to decimate Iranian proxies, including Hamas
and Gaza and haspalagn Lebanon, and also America attacking those
nuclear sites in Iran. Trump told reporters before Air Force
One took off, quote, we are very excited about this

(15:34):
moment in time, he said, many people in both Israel
and Arab countries were cheering the agreement, adding that everybody's
amazed and they're thrilled, and we're going to have an
amazing time. The White House says momentum is also building
because Arab and Muslim states are demonstrating a renewed focus
on resolving the broader decades along Israeli Palestinian conflict and

(16:00):
in some cases deepening relations with the United States of America.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Now.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Donald Trump's comments as a trip began followed him saying
Friday that quote, I think you are going to have
tremendous success, and Gaza is going to be rebuilt, and
that you have some very wealthy countries, as you know
over there. It would take a small fraction of their
wealth to do that, and I think they want to
do it now. The first phase of the ceasefire agreement

(16:25):
calls for the release of the final forty eight hostages
held by Hamas, including about twenty to believe to be alive.
The release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel
is part of the trade. A surge of humanitarian aid
will also come to Gaza and a partial pullback by

(16:46):
Israeli forces from Gaza's main cities. Israeli troops on Friday
finished withdrawing from parts of Gaza, triggering a seventy two
hour countdown under the deal for Hamas to release it's
Israeli hotages, potentially while Trump is on the ground there.
He said he expected their return to be completed on

(17:06):
Monday or Tuesday. Trump will then visit with Israel first
to meet with hostage families, and they will also meet
with Parliament. An honor last ex senate to President George W.
Bush during his visit in two thousand and eight. Vice
President Jedy Vance on Sunday also said Trump is likely

(17:27):
to meet with the newly freed hostages. Knock on wood,
he said, but we feel very confident the hostages will
be released, and this president is actually traveling to the
Middle East, likely this evening in order to meet them
and greet them in person, is what Vance told CBS's
Face the Nation. Then after that, Trump will stop in Egypt,

(17:48):
where he and the Egyptian president will lead a summit
with leaders from more than twenty countries on peace and
Gaza and in the broader Middle East. Is a tremendous truce,
and is unclear whether the sides have reached an agreement
on Gaza's postward governance. The territory's reconstruction will be on

(18:10):
the table as well, and Israel's demands at Amas's disarm
Negotiations over those issues could break down. That's a real
part of the conversation, and Israel has hinted it may
resume military operations if its demands are quote not met now.
Hr McMaster, national security advisor during Trump's first term, said

(18:31):
this quote, I think the chances of amostis arming themselves,
you know, are pretty close to zero. He said this
during an event for the Defense of Democracies on Thursday.
He said he thought what probably would happen in the
coming months is the Israeli army. The Israeli military is
going to have to just destroy them. Now, Israel continues

(18:53):
to roll over millions of Palestinians without basic rights as
settlements expand rapidly across the occupied West Bank. Despite growing
international recognition, Palestinian statehood appears exceedingly remote because of Israel's
opposition and actions on the ground there as well. Is
how it's being reported in The Times. The war has

(19:13):
quote left Israel isolated internationally, they claim, in facing allegations
of genocide, which obviously they are denying. They're also international
rest warrants against Prime Minister net Yahoo and as former
Defense minister. They are in effect right now, and the
United Nations Highest Court is considering allegations of genocide that
have now been brought by South Africa. I wish I

(19:36):
was joking, I am not. Now Here's what we do know.
Hamas has been militarily decimated and has given up its
only bargaining chip with Israel by releasing the hostages, but
the Islamic militant group is still intact and could eventually
rebuild if there's an extended period of calm. Part of
the reason why they're probably agreeing to the cease fire.

(19:58):
It's something they've done history after they get hit hard.
Net Nahoo has also reiterated that Israel would continue with
its demilitarization of Hamas after the hostages are returned if
they do not agree to their terms. Quote. Hamas agreed
to the deal only when it felt the sword was

(20:20):
on its neck and is still on its neck, is
what Netnahu said Friday, as Israel began to pull back
its troops. Now much of Gaza has been reduced to rubble,
and rebuilding it is expected to literally take years. The
territory's roughly two million residents continue to struggle because while

(20:40):
they were in bed with Terrists who went after Israel
and the worst attack on the Jews since the Holocaust. Now,
let's talk about the deal for a second. Under the deal,
Israel agreed to reopen five border crossings. That is significant
because it will help ease the flood flow of food
and other supplies into Gaza, part of which they the

(21:04):
international community certainly those on the left and those that
support the Palestinians say are experiencing real famine. Trump is
also standing up with a US led civilian military coordination
center in Israel to help facilitate the flow of humanitarian
aid as well as logistical and security assistants into Gaza. Now,

(21:25):
there are roughly two hundred US troops. Let me say
that again. They are roughly two hundred US troops that
will help support and monitor the ceasefire deal as part
of a team that includes partner nations. We also know
that non governmental organizations in goos and private sector players
are involved as well. US troops will not be sent

(21:47):
to Gaza. That is what the US military commander for
the region said in a social media post on Saturday. Now,
the White House is signal that Trump is looking to
quickly return attention to building on a first effort known
as the Abraham Accords, which forge diplomatic and commercial ties
between Israel and the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco, a permanent

(22:11):
agreement in gods that would help pave the way for
Trump to begin talks with Saudi Arabia as well as Indonesia,
the most populous Muslim country towards normalizing ties with Israel.
This all according to senior Trump administration officials who decided
to brief reporters on this. Now, such a deal with
Saudi Arabia, the most powerful and wealthy Arab nation, has

(22:34):
the potential to also reshape the region and boost Israel's
standing in historic new ways. But brokering in agreement remains
a heavy lift, as the kingdoms said it won't officially
recognize Israel before a resolution to the Israeli Palace and
in conflict is reached. Now, I've told you a lot
about President Donald Trump, but let me also be bringing

(22:56):
you up to date. Let me say that word again.
Whot me now bring you up to date of what
Benjamin Netan Yahoo is saying. Net Yahoo, the Prime Minister
of Israel, addressed the nation of Israel Sunday night, this
on the eve of the return of the remaining hostages

(23:16):
to Israel, calling it quote an evening of tears and joy,
while warning that the threat to Israel's security is not over.
Net Yahoo spoke from Jerusalem. He opened with a direct
appeal to the Israelis, saying, quote, citizens of Israel, my
brothers and sisters, this is an emotional evening, an evening

(23:40):
of tears, an evening of joy, because tomorrow children will
return to their border. He casts a moment as one
of profound national meaning, calling it a moment that blends
sorrow over the release of murderers and joy over the
return of hostages. He stressed it while some did not

(24:01):
believe it would happen, are fighters believed, many among the
people believed, and I believed. The Israeli Prime Minister called
for unity despite political divisions, saying quote, I know there
are many disagreements among us, but on this day, and
I hope also in the period ahead, we have every

(24:23):
reason to put them aside, because through joint efforts, we
achieved enormous victories. Victories astonished the entire world, and I
want to say everywhere we fought, we won. He then
warned the Israeli people in the address to the nation
on Sunday evening that Israel's mission is unfinished, saying quote,

(24:46):
in the same breath, I must tell you the campaign
is not over. There are still very great security challenges
ahead of us. Some of our enemies are trying to
rebuild themselves to attack us again. And as we say,
we're on it Netnah, who also pointed to gains that

(25:06):
he said have opened new avenues. There are also great
opportunities that we have never known before, precisely because the
victories we brought. I am convinced that through joint efforts,
we will overcome the challenges and realize the opportunities. He
spoke of meetings with hostage families that shape his decision,

(25:28):
saying quote, during the war, my wife and I met
many times the families of the abductees. We saw their pain,
their yearning, their tears. These meetings were with me, and
every decision I made during the war, we embraced the families,
and I promise them I will not rest until I

(25:49):
bring your loved ones back. Netnah then saluted the country's
resilience among the troops and the public, saying quote, I
wish to thank the IDF soldiers and the commanders, the
security forces, the bereaved families who lost. What is most
dear to them are heroic wounded, who carry their pain

(26:10):
in body and soul. And I wish to thank you
citizens of Israel, you who stood strong day after day
with love for our country and faith in the justice
of our path. Closing his remarks. The Prime Minister also
looked ahead by saying this tomorrow is the beginning of
a new path, a path of building Netnyahu said, a

(26:34):
path of healing and hope, a path of uniting hearts. Together,
we will continue to strengthen our country. Together, we will
continue to win, and with God's help, together we will
ensure the eternity of Israel. Now, this address comes as
the iss Israel implements it ceasefire agreement with Hamas, and

(26:58):
as Israel prepares for the hostage handover, the culmination of
a dual track of military pressure and the diplomacy that
Detau had argued vindicated his approach over the years of war.
Earlier on Sunday as well, the IDF Chief of Staff
announced operation returning Home, saying the IDF had redeployed to

(27:23):
cease fire lines at full readiness and was prepared to
strike any enemy who dares to raise its head. He
also praised a generation of victory, honored nine hundred and
fifteen fallen soldiers, and said Israel remains engaged in a
multi front campaign with further challenges ahead. This all as

(27:48):
President Trump is on his way on his way to
address Monday morning, the people and this country and the world,
meeting with the hostage family, and then travel as well
for a Middle East peace ceremony on the hills of
the historic peace agreement he broke her between Israel and Hamas. Now,

(28:09):
as I said earlier, under the Trump Broker deal, Hamas
will release. This is what is being planned now, all
remaining hostages living and deceased, and that will be in
exchange for a large scale prisoner release as well. So
this is where we are, this is what we're looking at.

(28:33):
This is the reality of the situation. I also want
to be clear, this is going to be very tough
moving forward. Why because we know what the enemy is,
We know what the enemy believes in. We know that
Hamas and Iran and Hezbelah are ones that really never

(28:53):
want to stop killing. That is clearly why you've heard
the way the DT Nyahu and also so Donald Trump
have responded to this. They've made it incredibly clear that
they are not going to back down or allow for
their people to be hit in any way. Like we've
witnessed before. They are worried about another October seventh style attack.

(29:17):
They are worried that they are going to be people
that will try to take advantage of this ceasefire. That's
also the reason why they're saying we are going to
stay alert. So the big takeaway is this, will this happen?
I think there's a very good chance. Has Hamas been
decimated to the point where they need a ceasefire to reorganize?

(29:41):
That may be part of what they're actually thinking about
is truly reorganizing. Do they need the humanitarian aid to
come in? Probably so, even for their own families. Are
they isolated, underfunded, without weaponry and with a very small
fire force. That is what Hamas is dealing with. But

(30:04):
what Israeli is saying is we're not going to allow
for this to just be about them re arming or
training or reorganizing. That they said they're not going to
allow to be an issue. Don't forget Share this podcast
