1. Lindsey Graham on Russian Interference and Obama

  • Senator Lindsey Graham appears on Meet the Press expressing anger over alleged media misinformation and the Obama administration’s handling of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
  • He suggests new evidence has emerged, possibly warranting a special counsel investigation.
  • Graham criticizes the media (e.g., Washington Post, New York Times, NBC) for their role in promoting the Russia-Trump collusion narrative.
  • He clarifies he is not accusing Obama of treason but calls for an investigation into the origins of the intelligence narrative.

2. Obama Phone Program and Fraud

  • The segment revisits the "Obama phone" program, originally part of the Lifeline initiative to provide phones to low-income individuals.
  • It highlights a recent case where a Florida CEO, Isa Asad, was sentenced to prison and fined $128 million for defrauding the program.
  • The host uses this to argue that the program was a form of vote-buying and rife with corruption.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Center, Lindsey Graham went on Meet the Press and was
very angry. He was angry about the lies the medium
told over Russian intelligence and the Russian collusion story. Back
in two thoy and sixteen. Lindsey Graham having this to say,
he was in Congress, you may remember then, and he

(00:24):
knew exactly what was going on in sixteen, and now
he's got three seats to show what the Biden regime
was doing to try to overthrow the will of the
people with a coup attempt against Donald Trump. Here is
Lindsay on NBC. Take a listen.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
All right, well, let me ask you about this twist
that happened this week. President Trump seemed to want to
try to shut down questions about the Epstein files by
accusing former President Obama of treason. This came as his
Director of National Intelligence, Tulci Gabbert, declassified documents which alleged
top Obama ficial manufactured information related to Russian interference in

(01:03):
the twenty sixteen election. Now, Senator, as you are well aware,
this actually contradicts a bipartisan Senate intelligence report led by
Marco Rubio, which found that Russia did, in fact interfere.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
In the election.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Do you actually believe that former President Obama committed treason?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Well, I think somebody needs to look at what we found.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
The Intel Committee looked at the matter, and they said
in twenty seventeen, the intelligence analysis of twenty seventeen showing
that Russia was trying to interfere in our election was real.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
They didn't achieve their goal.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
But what she found, Miss Gabbert, is that in twenty sixteen,
the intelligence community he told President Obama there's no evidence
that Russia was involved in trying to change the outcome
of the election, and he supposedly told her group of
people keep looking, and the analysis changed. So what we're

(02:04):
looking at is did what role did Obama play in
twenty sixteen to change the narrative that resulted in twenty seventeen.
I'm not alleging he committed treason, but I am saying
it bothers me. It's disturbing that this is new information.
Now you got the number two guid the FBI, don
mister Bongino, saying he's seeing things that has changed his life.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
And I assume now he's referring to Russia.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
So the best way to handle this is if there
are if there is evidence of a crime being committed
or suspected evidence of a crime being committed, create a
special counsel to look at it.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I think that's the best way to go.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Okay, let me follow up with you on your calls
for a special council investigation.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Let's just pause there. Lindsey Graham just called for a
special prosecutor to investigate. This is what he's saying. By
the way, when he said this, he also went after
the Washington Post and the New York Times, and he
went after the media for how they covered the Russian

(03:12):
collusion story, and then in essence, they were in on
it as well.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I think that's the best way to go.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Okay, let me follow up with you on your calls
for a special council investigation. As you know, Senator, there
was already a Trump appointed special council at the time
investigating the origins of the Russia probe, but did not
find any evidence of political interference. And Senator, at the time,
you agreed with the findings of the intelligence community. I

(03:41):
want to play back what you said at the time.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Take a look, Yep, the Russians did it.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It was the Russians who tried to interfere in our election.
Every member of the committee agrees it was the Russians.
They didn't change the outcome, but they did release information
embarrassing to the Democratic Party.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
It did affect Hillary Clinton.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
There's only one person Washington that I know of that
has any doubt about what Russia did in our election,
and is President Trump.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Senator are you now saying that you don't believe that
Russia tried to interfere in the twenty sixteen election, Well.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
What I am saying is that you left a lot
out here. It's called the Horowitz reports. The Mueller investigation
was crooked and rotten to the core. The Washington Post
and The New York Times got a pull up surprise
for reporting on Trump's campaign's relationship with Russia. It was
all bs at the time. I didn't know any of

(04:36):
that at the time. I didn't know that they were
manufacturing evidence to get PHISA warrants.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
There was a confirmation bias.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Durham didn't say there was no political bias.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
He said quite the opposite.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
He said, every time PAISA warrant was sought in the
Mueller world, they got it, and the errors made to
get warrants in this space were a lot greater than
they were in anything not involving Trump. But what I'm
saying is that this is new evidence. This is something
I didn't know. You didn't know that. In twenty sixteen,

(05:10):
Obama suggested, I don't like the outcome that there's no
evidence Russia was involved. Well, now we all say Russia
was involved, but in twenty sixteen they said Russia wasn't involved.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
What's that happened. Let's get a special council hold on
et centa.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
As you know, former President Obama has weighed in through
a spokesperson.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
By the way, do you notice how nervous Christian Welker
is at NBC News over this. She's nervous because she
feels that they're losing the narrative. And then Lindsey Graham
goes into NBC News' reporting. He's like, I talked about
Washington posting your Times. I'll talk about you guys too.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Let's get a special council hold on et cetera.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
As you know, former President Obama has weighed in through
a spokesperson. He says, that's just patently false. I actually
spoke to Susan Miller, who's a former Senior CIA officer
who helped oversee the twenty seventeen intelligence assessment on Russian interference.
She says it's completely false that Obama or anyone else
asked them to change or.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Sway their investigators.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
She says they all, she says, and she's a Republican,
says they all would have quit if that had happened. Senator,
are you trying to rewrite history to distract from the
Epstein matter?

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Senator No, I'm trying to let you know and the
media know that we found something we.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Didn't know before. At the end of the day, I'm
not calling.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
For a prosecution against President Obama for treason, but I
am calling for an investigation. Mister Miller also said there
was no credible evidence that President Trump colluded with the Russians.
For years and months and days and weeks, people had
their lives turned upside down. Chasing the Muller narrative that

(06:55):
Trump was in bed with the Russians, that the Trump
campaign was colluding with the Russians. The only people colluding
with the Russians were the hill or Clinton campaign and
Christopher Steell.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Manufacturing a document to get.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Warrants against Carter Page based on lies and falsehoods.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
So yeah, I'm very familiar with it.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
What you don't seem to acknowledge is there something new
being found Rather than reinventing the wheel here, let's go
back to a special Council model to look at this.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Something new.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Something new is statements by President Obama. I don't like
your analysis. Russia wasn't involved here in twenty sixty.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Cenator, you're saying there's something new. This report goes back
to twenty twenty. It's five years old. There's actually nothing
new in this report and nothing that changes any conclusion.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
But I want to talk about because nover is new
to me. I it's new to me trying to sweep
this stuff under the rug. And that's not right.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
But Senator, you know that at the time.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
You said you you did believe.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
The assessments and the multiple investigations. But let me move
on to let's talk about that.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I love how fast by the way, She's like, let's
move on to Gaza. Lindsey Graham making it pretty clear.
I'm not calling for prosecutes from Obama for treason. I'm
calling for an investigation, and you're trying to sweep this
stuff under the rug. And that's not right. And what
we've learned now is completely different than what we were

(08:24):
told in twenty sixteen we relied to. So what I
said then is completely different than the reality in twenty
twenty five of what we're now learning because of these
documents that have been released. And I think it's pretty
clear that the media now is trying to act like
there's nothing there, right, that there's no there there, Like

(08:47):
they's just oh, there's nothing nothing to nothing to see here,
nothing to talk about here, nothing to men, nothing at all,
just just no, no, everything's you know, look the other way.
There's nothing here here. Everything's just totally different. And he's saying,

(09:07):
we got new intel. We were lied to. What I
said back then was based on a different set of intel,
was based on a different set of information. It was
based on a very different set of information and intel
we were lied to. So you want to act like

(09:31):
what I was saying back then is somehow accurate I
guess back then, but not now. We have new information.
And if we have new information, why would I not
change my assessment? And you're trying to sweep it under
the rouge. By the way, he's absolutely right about that.

(09:53):
I want to take you back in history for just
a moment. You may remember when President Donald Trump ran
for office, one of the things he he promised what
he was going to clean up waste fraud and abuse. Now,
when did our government get really big into waste fraud
and abuse. A lot of it actually happened when President

(10:14):
Barack Obama was in office, because he understood that it's
easier to buy votes than to convince people to vote
for you for actual policy reasons. You may remember the
perfect example of buying votes, a woman that became famous
for her reason for voting for Barack Obama over a

(10:35):
guy by the name of Mitt Romney. Let me be clear,
I'm not advocating for voting for Mitt Romney for anything.
We now know what a disaster he was, but at
the time he obviously was willing to do a lot
better job for this country than Barack Obama. Insert September
twenty six of twenty twelve and the famous woman who

(10:58):
loved her Obama phone.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
You got Obama phone?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yes, everybody in Cleveland's Oh my Nordy got Obama. Faull
keep Obaman president. You know you gave us a fall.
He give you a phone.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Lett he give you a phone, you signed.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Up during, you a full steps, you a social charity,
you got low income, you disability.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Okay, what's wrong with Romney again?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Roy?

Speaker 2 (11:22):
He sucks.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
There it is. The woman made it clear, you can
buy my vote. The Obama phone was real, and it
was a way to buy votes, and the Democratic Party
was giving out those Obama phones and free sell service
each and every month. Well, fast forward to where we
are today and we know a lot more about how

(11:49):
corrupt the program actually was. The Obama phones. It was
also a big scam, and a Florida ceo is now
headed to prison and has been ordered to pay one
hundred and twenty eight million dollars in fines after quote
defrauding the government. And we're also being told this may

(12:13):
be the tip of the iceberg. The owner of a
Florida telecommunications company will spend the next five years in prison.
That's it, only five years, and his firm must pay
a hefty fine regarding the Obama phone scam. Q Link
Wireless LLC and its owner identified as a CEO isa Asad,

(12:38):
previously pled guilty to conspiring to commit wired fraud and
still federal funds from the Lifeline program that originally began
in the nineteen eighties to offer home phone service to
those that were in need so they could call nine
one one. Well, the program offered subsidized cell phone service

(13:00):
than to lower income people and then free phones. And
in that twenty twelve video, you had that protester emerging
outside of Mitt Rodney event who claimed her neighborhood received
then Obama phone. Everybody's got one, every minority. When asked
why she supported Obama, the woman said, everybody in Cleveland,

(13:20):
low minority got Obama phones. Keep Obama and President you know,
he gave us the phone. He's going to do more. Now.
This clip was really the first time many Americans ever
heard about the abuse in this program, and the name
Obama Phone caught on after the video went viral. Some

(13:40):
telecommunications companies with Lifeline contracts embraced the term as a
marketing point. The government, by the way, did not go
back to twenty thirteen, Brightbart News reported the opposition to
the Lifeline program was growing, as Track Phone Wireless, a

(14:02):
company that most benefited from the government's up c, is
now advertising on the inside the Beltway news websites in
an effort to quote unquote save it. You go to
the Fox article and it now says that a Side
was sentenced to prison and he, along with his company,
must pay one hundred and twenty eight million dollars in fines.

(14:25):
In a press release on Friday, the US Attorney's Office
for the Southern District of Florida shared more details about
the case and just how bad the fraud may be.
Aside to fraud in another federal government program, it states
the Paycheck Protection Program, also known as PPP, by making

(14:45):
false statements about q Link's business, Congress you may remember
created PPP and it was filled with waste, fraud, and
abuse during the COVID nineteen pandemic to authorize forgivable loans
of small businesses for job retention as well as quote
other expenses. Aside, the q links name executive executed a

(15:09):
fraudulent scheme to obtain and keep PPP proceeds. To further
the scheme, Aside made false statements about q Link's business,
including a false claim that q Link's Lifeline reimbursement substantially
decrease because of the pandemic. Aside then in twenty twenty one,

(15:29):
engaged in an unlawful financial transaction involving approximately three hundred
and eighty nine thousand of those proceeds, Aside spent PPP
loan proceeds on a land rover, payment, his personal AMEX card, jewelry,
and personal property taxes. Aside was reportedly charged with murder

(15:51):
several years ago in connection with driving over a grounds
keeper at his business. Per another Fox article, He later
pled note, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor culporable negligence, and
was slapped with one year of probation in order to
pay just a one hundred and twenty five dollars fine.

(16:12):
The outlet said, proof if you've got really good lawyers,
you can get away with a hell of a lot.
As for the Obama phone scam, the four to CEO
at least is headed to prison and we'll pay, in
theory one hundred and twenty eight million dollars in fines
for defrauding the American taxpayer. But is this program still

(16:34):
going yes? Is the program still corrupt as hell? Yes?
And is it time that the Trump administration look into it?
You better believe it. And there's a very good chance
that's exactly what's happening right now. I got another big story.
I want to move to real quick and it is

(16:54):
one that involves the corruption on a level that's to
shock everybody when it comes to being anti Israel. And
the New York Times is now being forced to admit
that an emancipated palacing in child that they featured, by

(17:15):
the way, on the front page of the New York Times,
that suffered they claim from starvation, is actually a lie
let that sink in all right, So New York Times
takes propaganda and they put it on the front page
of the New York Times. And as they do this,

(17:39):
this is not actually from a child being starved, and they,
of course are trying to imply this is all Israel's fault.
The New York Times admitted that this child actually was
suffering from quote pre existing health problems that it had
presented inaccurately as the result of starvation. Now let me

(18:02):
just be clear, there is an ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza,
all right. This is the result of poor food distribution
because of the terrorists and hamas. It's not low supply.
You have hamas and arm games that are looting the
aid convoys. Hamas is refused by the way to release

(18:24):
the remaining Israeli hostages that have been held for two
and a half years now. I feel terrible for the children.
I want to be clear about that, I really do.
I feel terrible for the children. I hate that their
parents decide to put killing Jews ahead of their own children.
I hate the fact that many of these parents advocate

(18:48):
and cheered on the killing of innocent Jews. I hate
the fact that these parents decide to get in bed
with the terrorist organizations and allow them to build tunnels
into their buildings and under their homes. I hate the
fact that they chose that mainly for the kids. But
the reality of this situation now is that you have

(19:08):
a media that hates the Jews so much that they're
willing to put out their pictures and claim that somehow
this is Israel. By the way, I remind you, Israel
was the one that was attacked, not the other way around.
So yeah, there is an ongoing humanitarian crisis right. Hamas
is refusing to release the hostages that they are starving
to death and have killed. Yes Hamas and armed gangs

(19:30):
because of a government that is run by Terras have
looted the eight convoys and they're not allowing it to
get to the children whose fault is that Again, I
go back to what I said earlier, when you get
in bed with terras and that's how you sleep with
This is what happens now. The child I want to
go back to. This child that was photographed by a

(19:52):
Turkish agency had a muscular disorder. Few outlets that ran
the photo disclosed fact to the readers. They wanted to
look like this was a child that was being starved
to death in Gaza. Some observers noted other photographs in
which the boy's relatives, including his brother, looked very well fed.

(20:13):
And so the internet did what the internet does right now.
So well, they went out there and they decided to
show the truth. You had to watchside group honest reporting
that noted this. They said there were massive inconsistencies in
the image set. In one of the photos, another child,
reportedly his older brother, can be seen standing in the background.

(20:36):
He appears well nourished and perfectly healthy. That alone raise
serious questions. In a CNN report published on Saturday, the
boy's mother explained that the individual the child suffered from
a muscular disorder. It's a medical condition that requires ongoing
physical therapy and specialized nutrition. Every outlet that promoted this
false narrative should have updated their coverage to reflect the

(20:58):
full truth. Right, that this child is not starving the
way they wanted it to be. But he has a
medical condition. He's not simply a victim of starvation. And
the image has been presented in a misleading and incomplete way.
They should have fixed that. Did they decide to know? Now?
The Times was basically beat into submission. Okay, The Times

(21:22):
acknowledge the truth in a note by its public relations
apartment posted on X on Tuesday. Now again, the damage
are been done. Had been on the front page of
the New York Times. Now, let me just read for
you this statement that the New York Times Communications put out.
So not near as many people see this X account.

(21:43):
All right, it's not even the actual New York Times page.
It's the n Wie Times PR. So it's the PR.
So the story's still out there in the world. Everybody
knows or believes that this is because of a child
that's being starved to death. It pulls on your heartstrings.
And this is what the at New New York Times
PR sets. All right, we have appended an editor's note

(22:04):
to his story about a child in Gaza who is
diagnosed with severe malnutrition. After publication, The Times learned that
he also had pre existing health problems. Okay, so that's
what you're gonna do. You're going to say that, and
they say, read more below. All right, we recently ran
the story about guys the most vulnerable civilians, including this

(22:25):
young boy who is about eighteen months old and suffers
from severe malnutrition. We have sense lar new information, including
from the hospital that treated him in his medical records,
and have updated our story to add context about his
pre existing health problems. This additional detail gives readers a
greater understanding of a situation. Our reporters and photographers continue

(22:46):
to report from Gaza bravely, sensitively, and at personal risk,
so that readers can see firsthand the consequences of war.
All right, So let's be clear about the second part
of that statement from The New York Times. What they're
saying is as well, Number one, you shouldn't be criticizing
because our reporters and our photographers are there. They are

(23:07):
putting their own lives at risk. So you should just
move on from this, right, their actual words, right, they're brave,
they're sensitive, not like they're calling reporters brave and saying, well,
they're there at their own personal risk. So you guys
need to just calm down a little bit and realize, like,
this is not that big of a deal. Okay. The
photo was on the front of the New York Times.

(23:27):
All right, it's one of just one of many photos
of emanciated Palising children that circulate over the weekend, in
which were used to bolster the narrative that Israel is
starving the Gosins. Again, that is a lie. If you
want to know who's starving them, it is Hamas many
of the photographs actually showed Palising children with their medical conditions.

(23:48):
One showed, for example, palsing child with assistic fibrosis, whom
Israel had actually helped to obtain medical treatment for in Italy.
So if you think that Israel's so evil, just know
they took a Palace child with cystic fibrosis, they got them,
helped obtain medical treatment in Italy. And what do they do.
They come back in, they decide, no, no, we're gonna screw

(24:09):
you over. That's what we're gonna do. An Israeli spokesman
noted that the photograph that was used all right as propaganda.
I'm a palacing child starving in guys. That shows a
child that's been in Italy for several weeks and whose
journey there was facilitated literally by Israel. And then they
decided Israel's like blasting the media for the lies. Right,

(24:30):
it's straight up spreading anti Semitism, which goes back to
what I was saying about the New York Times. They're
spreading anti Semitism and they're lying. And what I would
tell you is, look, is there is there famine. Yes,
there is Okay, there is famine. There is it terrible
the conditions, yes, Whose fault is it? Whose fault is it?

(24:55):
It's one person, folks. It is the terrorists. It is
Hamas and the people that have supported a Moss and
those that cheered on the death of the Jews. It
is a Moss and the people in Palestine that attacked
and murdered and are still holding hostage and torturing and
sexually assaulting and starving the hostage they still have right now,

(25:18):
we know that for a fact. It is truly amazing me.
I said this on Fox News Channel earlier this week
with Harris Faulkner, and I said to her, I said,
you know, in the history of the world, the only
country that I've ever heard of that is actually supposed
to feed their enemy their attacker is Israel. And one

(25:41):
other point I want to make is where are all
the other Middle Eastern countries? Why aren't they getting involved?
Why is it that all these other countries are not
sending food an aid to help all these people in Gaza,
Like somebody should probably ask that question. Why why is

(26:02):
it that not a single other Middle Eastern country is
doing air jobs right now? Why is it America's job?
Why is it Israel's job to feed their enemies? Why
is it Israel's job to feed their enemies? This article
and I go back to the article here, and you
go back to X. You put a child out there,

(26:25):
a Palestinian child starving in Gaza, showing a child that's
been in Italy for several weeks and whose journey there
was facilitated by Israel. And instead of giving Israel credit
for doing that for a Palestinian child, what did they
decide to do? They decided that they were going to
put that image out there in the news and say
Israel is starving the people of Gaza. That is anti Semitism,

(26:48):
one oh one. And for the New York Times to
do this and then say we corrected it by using
the ex New York Times PR account. Have you ever
in your life read the New York Time time PR
account on x No. Most Americans that read the New
York Times wouldn't even know that the New York Times
had a PR account. They didn't want you to know

(27:09):
that the picture they put on the cover of The
New York Times showing a child starving to death was
actually not a child starving to death because of Israel,
but because of a medical condition that the child is
being treated for in a hospital, and that the rest
of his family around him are not starving. I go
back to the picture the New York Times didn't want
you to see, and that was a picture of his
own brother. His brother was healthy. It's a medical condition.

(27:35):
And now the New York Times forced to admit that
the photo actually showed a child with a medical condition,
a child with cystic fibrosis, and a child who's being
helped with medical treatment Italy because of Israel, helping a
Palestinian child, And they decide to correct it on X
that is anti Semitism one oh one, and they are cowards.
