House coming out with a statement saying this quote, the
One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House of Representatives.
This is arguably the most significant piece of legislation that
will ever be signed in the history of the country,
that coming from President Donald J.

He then put out a true social statement, saying this
the one big, beautiful bill is passed, and not only
is it arguably the most significant piece of legislation that
will ever be signed in the history of our country,
but the bill includes massive tax cuts, no tax on tips,
no tax on overtime, the tax deductions when you purchase
an American made vehicle, along with strong border security measures,

pay raises for our ice and border patrol agents, funding
for the Golden Dome, Trump's savings, accounts for newborn babies,
and much more. Great job by Speaker Mike Johnson and
the House leadership. Trump went on to say, and thank
you to every Republican who voted yes on this historic bill.
Now it's time for our friends in the United States

There's no time to waste. The Democrats have lost control
of themselves and are aimlessly wandering around showing no confidence,
grit or determination. They have forgotten their landslide losses in
the President's election and are warped in the past, hoping
someday to revive open borders for the world's criminals to
be able to pour into our country. Men to be

able to play in women's sports and transgender for everybody.

They don't realize that.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
These things and so many more like them, will never
happen again.

That is the President's statement on all of this.

Now, let's dive into some of the big things that
are going to affect you the most and have a
major impact on our economy. Number one is the no
tax on tips in overtime.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
What is this going to do. It's going to increase
take home pay.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Workers in the service industries and hourly jobs are going
to benefit immediately. Why Because they're going to be able
to keep one hundred percent of their tips in overtime.
That's going to boost income without increasing labor costs for
the employers. So this is a win win for not
only those that are hiring and the employers, but also
(03:31):
for the employees. Another way of looking at it is
this it's a great way to have an instant pay
raise without it actually negatively hurting the economy or small businesses.
They're also going to simplify the tax filings. This is
huge because it allowed for more Americans to be able
to just get their tax dollars back quickly, and it
will reduce complexity for both employees and the irs, lowering

the cost to run a business.

Specifically for employers.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
There's also longer incentives for working extra hours or in
another way of putting it, working extra hard to provide
for yourself and your family. It's encouraging productivity and rewarding
productivity is how the White House described it, and helping
businesses meet demand with more willing to work in those
overtime hours. Now, let's move from there to the one

hundred and seventy five billion dollars for deportations as well
as the border wall funding. You know that border security
is one of the top priorities of President Donald Trump. Well,
now we have the money needed, as Tom Homan describe it,
to get the job done. And what the border security
is going to do with this money is well, it's
going to have the issue of reinforcement. It will not

only they say one, boost enforcement, but also technology and
infrastructure at the southern border, which supporters are arguing will
reduce illegal immigration even more. It's also going to help
stop drug trafficking in the feedanl trade and the multi
billion do industry of human smuggling, So that is again
part of this bill. It will also have as they
(05:06):
described it as a deterrent effect. A large scale investment
is sitting a very strong signal that immigration laws are
actually going to be enforced and strictly enforced at that.
We know this from the Trump administration. There's also what
they describe as job protection as well from this money
that will be spent. Why, well, it is seen by
(05:27):
the Trump administration as a way to quote protect low
skilled American jobs from being undercut by undocumented labor and
millions and millions of them with a race to the
bottom that will help more Americans than ever before.

And then let's talk about seniors for a second.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
This is something else that the President was really focused on.
He wants her to be real tax relief for our
seniors that are just trying to live a comfortable retirement
without having to worry every single month. Well, higher disposable income.
Why because it reduces the financial burden on retirees, especially
those living unfixed incomes. There's also greater economic participation, the

White House says, as seniors may have more freedom to spend,
invest or support family members because of the tax relief
that they're specifically putting in there for as senior citizens
and then there's also the healthcare costs buffer, which is
the number one reason why seniors have financial problems later
than life. It is easier, they say, now, to manage
out of pocket medical expenses or rising living costs. So

they're trying to protect seniors in this country.

Now.

Part of this bill, and the big part, which is
going to be monumental, is making the twenty seventeen Trump
tax cuts permanent. This is giving certainty for families and
for businesses. The long term planning is easier when the
tax rates are locked in, and what the President said
is you're not going to be forgotten.

These tax rates were important to lock in.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Otherwise we're going to have the largest tax cut increase
in our country's history. It was going to decimate the
middle class, and it was going to be brutal on
our not only on our economy, but also those at
higher This is now going to be locked in with
as twenty seventeen rates that you're used to. It's also
going to lower the individual tax rates that have continued

for middle class earners to keep more of their paycheck.
So if you're a middle class American, you're going to
keep more of your money because of this big beautiful bill.

There's also major support for small businesses.

Pass Through entities like LLCs and escorps are going to
continue to benefit, the White House says, from deductions spurring
entrepreneurship and growth. There's also investment and growth incentives as well.
Lower tax as the White House says on capital gains
and corporate income are seen as pro business, potentially driving

job creation and market performance to new levels. Now, the
overall positives on this are this economic boost. There's going
to be more money in consumers pockets that can lead
to higher spending and economic activity.

It is a pro worker bill.

The bill positions itself as rewarding hard works, tips, overtime,
and protecting American jobs. And then there's the long term
structural changes. By locking in the tax policy and beefing
up immigration enforcement, the White House us this is fulfilling
their long promise reforms that put American workers first, American

middle class workers first, and making sure they're not under
being undercut by illegal immigrants. This is, in fact, a
big beautiful bill.

there was some controversy, by the way, with this bill,
with two Republicans that were holdouts. You had Congressman Massing
and Congressman Davison.

The White House Press Sancretary was asked about those two
Republicans not voting in favor of the big beautiful bill.
It was pretty clear that Donald Trump has a tar
get on these two congressmen. Now, and here's what the
White House had to say about it.

You had two Republicans last night that voted against this bill, Congressman.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Massey and Davidson. Does the President think that they should
be primary?
Speaker 6 (12:11):
I believe he does, and I don't think he likes
to see grandstanders in Congress. What's the alternative. I would
ask those members of Congress. Did they want to see
a tax hike? Did they want to see our country
go bankrupt? That's the alternative by them trying to vote no.
And the President believes the Republican Party needs to be unified,
and the vast majority of Republicans clearly are and are
listening to the President. They are trusting in President Trump
(12:33):
as they should because there's a reason he's sitting in
this oval office. It's because he's the unequivocal leader of
the Republican Party, not just a president for Republicans, but
all Americans. The President's approval rating is at an all
time high right now because he knows how to deliver
in Republicans like Thomas Massey and others should take note.

That was clearly the warning from the White House. Massey
took to the floor of Congress and here is what
I had to say about his reason for voting no.

Listen carefully, jentlemen from Kentucky's recognized for ninety seconds.

We'd love to stand here and tell the American people,
we can cut your taxes and we can increase spending,
and everything's going to be just fine, But I can't
do that because I'm here to deliver a dosa reality.
This bill dramatically increases deficits in the near term, but
promises our government will be fiscally responsible five years from now.

Where have we heard that before?
Speaker 4 (13:31):
How do you bind a future Congress to these promises?
This bill is a debt bomb ticking. Congress can do
funny math, fantasy math if it wants, but bond investors don't.
And this week they sent us a message. Moodies downgraded
our credit rating, and the bond investors who buy our
debt and finance our debt demanded higher interest rates on
(13:54):
the ten year note, the twenty year note, and the
thirty year note. What does this mean? Very soon the
government will be paying sixteen thousand dollars of interest interest
a loan per us family.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
And what are we telling him?
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Instead of taking care of that problem, We're gonna give
you a sixteen hundred dollars tax break. Under the taxing
and spending levels in this bill, we're gonna rack up
the author say, twenty trillion dollars of new debt over
the next ten years. I'm telling you it's closer to
thirty trillion dollars of new debt in the next ten years.
Mister speaker, We're not rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic tonight.

We're putting coal in the boiler and setting a course
for the iceberg. If something is if something is beautiful,
if something is beautiful, you don't do it after midnight.

on the Democratic side of the aisle, Thomas Massey saying

News Channel. He had something very interesting to say on
Fox Today about this bill and what it means not
only for the president but for the country.

It happened earlier today and now joining us with reaction

First, Steve, your reaction to that.

And where this goes next.

Well, this was a huge, huge victory for Trump. I
think there were really three heroes here. Obviously President Trump, who,
as you know Sandra went over to the House and
made the final pitch for this and got the final votes.
And then Mike Johnson, who has almost impossible of course,
he's the Speaker of the House. I don't know how
he did it, but he somehow sits together two hundred

and eighteen votes for this, and I think it was
a one vote majority that they were able to get.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
It wouldn't have happened without him.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
And then I have to say, Chip Roy, who you
may recall Sandra raised some objections to the bill last
week and I hapen to agree with some of those objections,
and you know what, they made it into a better bill.

And so now this goes to the Senate.

I think the Senate will act sometime before fourth of July.
And I agree, we got to get this thing on
the desk of the President as quickly as possible. I
think it will be very positive for the economy and the
stock market.

You listen to seem Moore there in what he says,
and he's absolutely right, Like this is going to have
a huge impact on our economy.

Everyone knows it, that's involved in it.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
The President had a really tough job here keeping this
together with a slim margin in the House. He said
that the other day when he was on Capitol Hill
meeting with members of Congress, and this was his warning,
by the way, on a couple holdouts at the time.
Speaker 9 (17:00):
Look, the alternative is a sixty eight percent tax increase,
and you can blame the Democrats with that, Edwa or
two Brinson, as we only have Waterton, but we have
not tremendous support. But you'll have a sixty eight percent
tax increase, or you'll get a massive tax increase. You'll
get a tax cut the likes of which we've never

had to book. This is bigger than any Ronald Reagan
tax cut. It's even bigger than the tax cut that
I gave because as you know.

That's being extended an acreest.
Speaker 9 (17:32):
So this is the biggest tax cut in the history
of our temetry, or you'll get a sixty eight percent
tax increase.

Now, when you think about the numbers the President just
gave there, this was not only a huge success for
the American people, but a moment where if it didn't happen,
the taxes on everyday Americans were going to skyrocket. I
also got to give a lot of credit here to
Mike Johnson. Mike Johnson and what he he did to

get this across the finish line. Hurting cats is the
best way I can describe it.

Is incredible.

He could only lose a couple and sure enough he did,
and he was able to do it with the President's help.
But if you want to know who the biggest bad
a is in Washington right now, it is no doubt
that it's Speaker Johnson. Joe Kanca on Fox said this,

And right now, the MVP right in Washington for Donald
Trump is Mike Johnson. Because he is hurting cats right
where he has almost no majority, and he's been able
to pass some things already. If he could get this
thing through, get it to the Senate, get it through reconciliation,
House and Senate kind of you know, go back and forth,
and it gets to the President's desk and this thing passes,

this big, beautiful bill with all these tax.

They can't run on foreign policy, they can't run on

so we put it in the bill. We knew we

work to do too. That's why we've been talking to
the Senate for a long time. But it's their turn
to take this bill and move forward. But I'll tell
you none of this would be possible without the leadership
with President Trump, who every step of the way not
only laid out the vision, ran a campaign on this vision,

but every step of the way too, said whatever you need,
let me know.

and this one is obviously a tragic story. A shooting
that occurred outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, d C.
I was literally in front of this building just a

few days ago when I was in DC and had
been to events there as well, which is I think
the most surreal and shocking part of this anti Semitic killing.

Clearly that's what it was.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
What's even more discussing is the fact that Democrats are
refusing to condemn the deaths of these two Israelimy staff members.

The couple had just.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Attended a young diplomat's reception hosted by the American Jewish Committee.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
They were leaving the event around nine h eight pm Eastern.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
The suspect a thirty year old from Chicago approached a
group of four individuals and opened fire with a handgun,
faintly wounding two of those that he was targeting.

Rodriguez.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
The shooter was observed pacing outside the museum prior to
the attack, and after the shooting, he entered the museum
appeared appearing distressed, leading bystanders to initially mistake him for
a victim.

He was even given water.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
And comforted until he revealed himself as this shooter, at
which point he was attained by security personnel. Now, during
the arrests, the individual shouted, free, Free Palestine.

I did this for Gaza, is what he said. Now.

The victims were a couple in their late twenties. They
worked in the embassy's political department and in public diplomacy.
They were actually planning to become engaged during an upcoming
trip days away in Jerusalem, and apparently he had already
bought the ring. Authorities are investigating the incident as a

targeted act of violence with potential hate crimes implications, as
it should.

The FBI and local.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Law enforcement are examining the man's background, including his online
activities and any possible connections to extremist group. Now, the
attack has widely been condemned by leaders in the United
States and Israel. President Trump described the killings as based
obviously on anti Semitism quote unquote, and called for an
end to such hatred. Israel's Prime Minster net Yahoo also
(23:50):
denounced the act, linking it to the rise of anti
Semitic sentiment and ordering increased security at Israeli diplomatic missions worldwide. Now,
this incident has also heightened concerns about the safety of
Jewish communities and institutions in this country, as we are
witnessing anti Semitic rhetoric and violence that is spilling out.

What's even I think more damning to the Democratic Party
and there should be no place for this in the
Democratic Party. Yet there is is the fact that Elamo
Mar of the Democratic Party refuse to condemn the killing
of the Israeli diplomats. It is despicable, is how the
White House describe it.

condemning this active terror.

anti Semitic protests, of pro Hamas, protests of terrorist sympathizers.
We saw them on our college campuses, and we've seen
the Democrat Party turn a blind eye and in some
cases actually embrace such anti Semitic illegal behavior. And that's
(25:04):
why this administration has done more than any administration in
history to crack down on anti Semitism. As you know,
in January, when the President took office, he signed a
new executive order to combat anti Semitism. He created a
commission focused on doing just that. The Justice Department announced
their task force as well. The Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
has revoked thousands of student visas from campuses where these
(25:27):
pro Palace pro Hamas, terrorist campus agitators and violent protests
took place. And we've also withheld funding from those very
campuses as well in an effort to combat anti semitism.
So the President's made it very clear that such hatred
will have no place in our country.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
I love how clear the White House is on this one.
I also want to play for you, and we now
have word. The FBI's investigating the DC shooting is an
act of targeted violence, is how they've described it. So far,
after this young Jewish couple is brutally murdered, and I
want you to hear what was also said on CNN.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
CNN apparently their main worry isn't.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
The safety of Jews, it's how the backlash might affect
anti Israel protesters. Yes, that's their actual angle on this
and the FBI investigation. As they had a witness that
was there. They had them on TV this morning, and
again I want you to hear their narrative. It's very
clear their main worry is not the safety of Jews.
(26:30):
After two Jewish individuals, this couple was brutally murdered, they're
worried how the backlash might affect anti Israel protesters, the
same ones calling for the death of Jewish people, the
death of Israel from the river to the sea.

We've seen this on college campuses.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You cannot hide this level of anti Semitism here, it
is in real life on CNN.
Speaker 11 (26:52):
As you go forward, as you go forward with what
you have seen, can you give us any sense because
you said you look the shooter in the eyes, can
you give us any sense of what you saw in him?
As he was sort of getting help and people were
tending to him as if he too was a victim
of seeing this.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, it would be clear.
Speaker 13 (27:13):
I like heard about that part because we were in
the secure room when he initially walked in. I just
saw him screaming and then being handcuffed. But what I
saw in his eyes, I mean, I went to Columbia
for grads.

Go on.
Speaker 13 (27:24):
I saw the same thing in his eyes as I
saw in the eyes of all the protesters at Columbia.
Nothing different between him and them.
Speaker 11 (27:32):
But they did not create this horrific shooting. They did not,
you know, sort of.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
They didn't shoot.
Speaker 13 (27:40):
They gave permission. They gave the permission, and they have
called for this. They have called for and to fought
a revolution, which is the same thing he yelled last night.
Speaker 11 (27:51):
Do you worry that there will be a come conslation though,
of the two, those people who are speaking their mind,
who really care about what is happened in Gaza, and
those people who are like this person who did this
horrific shooting, who intend to do harm.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
A conflation.
Speaker 13 (28:10):
I mean, they are calling for intifada at Columbia University.
They call for intifada constantly. Now they're not quietly, they're loud.
They're loud, you can hear it. They make recordings of themselves.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
So what's the difference. Are you afraid? Yes, what We're
all afraid. Everyone should be afraid.
Speaker 11 (28:31):
What are you doing to try to make yourself feel safer?
Speaker 13 (28:36):
Why can't you just go on and live your life.
I'm a New Yorker, I remember nine to eleven. You
can't let them make you be afraid.

You have to go on.
Speaker 13 (28:43):
You have to live your life and hopefully your government
does things to protect you.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Last night, our government failed us.
Speaker 11 (28:51):
Jonathan Epstein. I know that they are going forward with this.
There is expected to be charges in this case. We
will see what happens, but I know you'll be watching
and we'll talk to you again as this goes forward.

I mean, it is shocking to hear CNN do this
interview this way where they're like, well, aren't you worried
about you know, what's going to happen to the protesters
and their ability to like what world are you living in?
And he's right. At Columbia University, they were calling for evatada.
They were calling for the death of Jewish students in PR.

This is what they had in their article, for example,
and this is absolutely an excusable anti Semitic behavior by NPR.
This is the reason why I'm in favor of defunding
NPR as soon as we possibly can. Their headline was,
here's what we know about the two Israeli embassy staffers
killed in Washington, d C. Then in their second paragraph
it says, and more notably, as Israel ramps up it's
(29:50):
offensive in Gaza, where the risk of famine looms for
a population ground down by a month's long blockade.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
That's what they wrote in the second.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Paragraph. Right, like, justifying is what they're doing. They're justifying
these types of attacks. This is in PR. In their
own words, they're saying, yeah, well, you got to understand
why this has happened, right, I mean, you look at
defunding NPR.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
The American Jewish community is.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Not a pro Israel advocacy group is another way of
describing it. In this article, is an American Jewish community group.
They know what they're doing with their lies. And here's
their headline to Israeli embassy aids are killed in a
shooting in DC. Officials say, okay, so then you moved
the second part quote. Shortly after nine pm, as an
event by the Pro Israel Advocacy Group American Jewish Community
(30:49):
wrapped up at a local Jewish museum in downtown DC,
a man was observed pacing back and forth outside of
the building. Metropolitan Police chief said, so, now, if if
you're Jewish and you go to a Jewish event, you're
like a pro Israel advocacy group.

That's like, so if I'm an American and I go
to Fourth of July event, that what does that label
mean now? As it is insanity what we are witnessing
right now, it is total insanity. I got something really

And for me, you do it through faith. And when
I went through all my difficult things in life, it
was always my faith that got me through. Faith and
my wife are may Those two things have been my
two greatest things in my life. And now I get
to write about both of them, and starn and opposite

my wife. So I'm just I'm so excited about this
film it's hard to even put it into words.

Then you talked about doing this with your wife.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Have you guys ever gotten to act before in movies
or is this the first time.
Speaker 7 (33:53):
You're the leader and she's my wife's ever acted before.
When I wrote the film, like okay, honey, so you know,
I've always wanted to be the John Wayne guy who
you know is here in the end who has to
kick the girl in the end. She's like yeah. I'm like, well,
I'm finally gonna do it. She's like, okay, but I
need to do it with you because I won't kiss
anybody else. He goes, I'm not an actress. I'm like,
well you are now. And she did awesome. I'm so
(34:13):
proud of her. You know, she was a runway model,
she was a supermodel, so she understands the pressure of
being in front of people and delivering. So for her
in front of a camera, it was very natural and
I'm just so happy. I'm so happy for her. Now.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
When you wrote this, you also have real stars in
here as well that you that you mentioned a moment
ago PBR stars. What brought you the idea to even
write the script specifically with bull riding.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
I'm a big fan.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
I've gone to a lot of different Rodeos eight second Tour,
et cetera. It is a brutal sport. What inspired you
to use this as the backdrop?
Speaker 7 (34:47):
Well, Ben, I was doing another film at the time
called The Warrants, another Western that Ravee and I are producing.
And you know, when I'm not around Revenge, she was
home at the time with the kids. When I'm not
around my family, I get really just downright kind of depressed.
The times it's really hard. I don't like being on
the road. So but this one day I was driving
home from set in Arizona, and I got gut punched
(35:07):
with his thoughts that what whatever happened to me if
something happened to Rebee, And then I pulled over to
the side of the road just kind of buckled. And
then this other idea came in my head, which I
it have to be from God, because I didn't know
a whole lot about bull riding, and this idea came
into my head right rocking on a bull or a
grandfather who has to save his grandson because he's dying
(35:28):
of the same brain tumor they killed his wife. This
came out, and I don't know where they came from,
but it just did and then I sat in the
side of the ten freeway for two hours voice dictating
into my phone because I'm dyslexic, so I'm not very
good at writing, so I always do all my writing
through voice dictations, and I sent it up to my
writing partner and within the week we had our first draft.
(35:50):
In a week later, Reve and I raised the financing
and Angel Studios came on board, and here we are
almost two years later, and it's just it's kind of miraculous.
I mean, it really is.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Well, you mentioned that there's a family friendly movie. You
don't have to worry. That's one of the reasons why
I wanted to have you on how tough is it
to produce movies like this in the environment we're in now,
Because I know you had friends and people that you
could go to for financing, but saddling up to do
a pro bull riding movie and on top of having
all the pressure behind you of getting this out and
(36:22):
then getting it to the big screen, it's not an
easy task, especially in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 7 (36:28):
No, it's not. It's you know, it's a minor miracle
to pull any film off, but for this one, you know,
God led me the whole way in this one. I
wanted John Abne to direct it, and the amazing John
Abnet and one incredible director he is he killed it.
I wanted Michael T. Williamson and Christopher McDonald to play
my two guys in the film, and there two of
my best friends of life, and we went after you know,
(36:49):
my one of my best friends back home, Lim Griffin
helped us with the film, and then these other financiers
came to me and said, hey, we know what you're doing.
We really like what you're doing with your message and
Angel Studios, we like to help financi your next film.
So between those two parties, all of a sudden, we
had our budget, we had distribution, and everything just kind
of went according to plan, which was kind of miraculous. Yeah,
(37:12):
there's always pickups, there's there's always variables that you wouldn't
even think of, but we always knew that we weren't
doing something that was for his glory, not our own,
and everyone bought into it. So when you say Hollywood
doesn't want that stuff, I think that in their heart
of hearts, they actually do. And I think that this
(37:34):
film was a whole lot easier to make than other
films because it did have a faith backdrop. It was
a film that the whole family can go too, you know.
So I think I think the landscape is changing a
lot of it thanks to Angel Studios and you know,
our partnership with Angel and the films we've been doing.
That you could make these smaller films and turn a profit,
(37:56):
and that's great for everybody. And to be able to
put these movies out and have the support of all
the fans who go to the films and buy tickets
and pay it forward anything we do with Angels, it's
just it's so humbling that it's again it's hard to
I get so choked up just thinking about how fortunate
I am and blessed I am to be able to
sit here on a show like this and talk about

this amazing film that we have coming out.

Last question for you, there's a rumor that you actually
got injured while bull riding.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Is this true?
Speaker 7 (38:26):
Which time?

Okay? I love I love when I get good intel.
Speaker 7 (38:31):
Yeah, I got busted up a lot. You know. We
trained for months and months and months to make sure
I look as authentic as possible, and yeah, you know,
busted up my wrists. My I busted a few other
things with my shoulder popped out that hurt like the dickens,
But I didn't tell anybody. I just went around the
corner and snapped it back in at this barn net
(38:51):
this door around the corner, and I popped back in.
I had like tears in my eyes, and John's like
y okay, I'm like yep, ready, let's roll. And I
didn't tell them the story for three months later because
if I told him here to shut it down and
everyone have gone crazy, Like I'm just I'm a tough
old dude, So I just like I kept it to
myself and a couple other injuries that happened that hey,
(39:12):
those are war wounds that I consider as trophies and metals.

for deportations, as well as to finish the wall construction,
tax relief for seniors, and making his twenty seventeen tax
cuts permanent. It was announced by the Speaker of the House,
and here's what he had to say.

The members of the Chamber on this vote, the Yaser
two hundred and fifteen, the Naser two hundred and fourteen,
with one answering present, the bill is passed.

The chance of USA continue, the crapping continue. The White
House coming out with a statement saying this quote, the
One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House of Representatives.
This is arguably the most significant piece of legislation that
will ever be signed in the history of the country,
that coming from President Donald J.

Trump.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
He then put out a true social statement, saying this
the one big, beautiful bill is passed, and not only
is it arguably the most significant piece of legislation that
will ever be signed in the history of our country,
but the bill includes massive tax cuts, no tax on tips,
no tax on overtime, the tax deductions when you purchase
an American made vehicle, along with strong border security measures,
(01:54):
pay raises for our ice and border patrol agents, funding
for the Golden Dome, Trump's savings, accounts for newborn babies,
and much more. Great job by Speaker Mike Johnson and
the House leadership. Trump went on to say, and thank
you to every Republican who voted yes on this historic bill.
Now it's time for our friends in the United States

Senate to get to work and send.

This bill to my desk as soon as possible.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
There's no time to waste. The Democrats have lost control
of themselves and are aimlessly wandering around showing no confidence,
grit or determination. They have forgotten their landslide losses in
the President's election and are warped in the past, hoping
someday to revive open borders for the world's criminals to
be able to pour into our country. Men to be
(02:43):
able to play in women's sports and transgender for everybody.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
They don't realize that.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
These things and so many more like them, will never
happen again.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
That is the President's statement on all of this.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Now, let's dive into some of the big things that
are going to affect you the most and have a
major impact on our economy. Number one is the no
tax on tips in overtime.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
What is this going to do. It's going to increase
take home pay.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Workers in the service industries and hourly jobs are going
to benefit immediately. Why Because they're going to be able
to keep one hundred percent of their tips in overtime.
That's going to boost income without increasing labor costs for
the employers. So this is a win win for not
only those that are hiring and the employers, but also
(03:31):
for the employees. Another way of looking at it is
this it's a great way to have an instant pay
raise without it actually negatively hurting the economy or small businesses.
They're also going to simplify the tax filings. This is
huge because it allowed for more Americans to be able
to just get their tax dollars back quickly, and it
will reduce complexity for both employees and the irs, lowering
(03:54):
the cost to run a business.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Specifically for employers.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
There's also longer incentives for working extra hours or in
another way of putting it, working extra hard to provide
for yourself and your family. It's encouraging productivity and rewarding
productivity is how the White House described it, and helping
businesses meet demand with more willing to work in those
overtime hours. Now, let's move from there to the one
(04:22):
hundred and seventy five billion dollars for deportations as well
as the border wall funding. You know that border security
is one of the top priorities of President Donald Trump. Well,
now we have the money needed, as Tom Homan describe it,
to get the job done. And what the border security
is going to do with this money is well, it's
going to have the issue of reinforcement. It will not
(04:44):
only they say one, boost enforcement, but also technology and
infrastructure at the southern border, which supporters are arguing will
reduce illegal immigration even more. It's also going to help
stop drug trafficking in the feedanl trade and the multi
billion do industry of human smuggling, So that is again
part of this bill. It will also have as they
(05:06):
described it as a deterrent effect. A large scale investment
is sitting a very strong signal that immigration laws are
actually going to be enforced and strictly enforced at that.
We know this from the Trump administration. There's also what
they describe as job protection as well from this money
that will be spent. Why, well, it is seen by
(05:27):
the Trump administration as a way to quote protect low
skilled American jobs from being undercut by undocumented labor and
millions and millions of them with a race to the
bottom that will help more Americans than ever before.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
And then let's talk about seniors for a second.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
This is something else that the President was really focused on.
He wants her to be real tax relief for our
seniors that are just trying to live a comfortable retirement
without having to worry every single month. Well, higher disposable income.
Why because it reduces the financial burden on retirees, especially
those living unfixed incomes. There's also greater economic participation, the
(06:06):
White House says, as seniors may have more freedom to spend,
invest or support family members because of the tax relief
that they're specifically putting in there for as senior citizens
and then there's also the healthcare costs buffer, which is
the number one reason why seniors have financial problems later
than life. It is easier, they say, now, to manage
out of pocket medical expenses or rising living costs. So
(06:31):
they're trying to protect seniors in this country.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Now.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Part of this bill, and the big part, which is
going to be monumental, is making the twenty seventeen Trump
tax cuts permanent. This is giving certainty for families and
for businesses. The long term planning is easier when the
tax rates are locked in, and what the President said
is you're not going to be forgotten.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
These tax rates were important to lock in.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Otherwise we're going to have the largest tax cut increase
in our country's history. It was going to decimate the
middle class, and it was going to be brutal on
our not only on our economy, but also those at
higher This is now going to be locked in with
as twenty seventeen rates that you're used to. It's also
going to lower the individual tax rates that have continued
(07:18):
for middle class earners to keep more of their paycheck.
So if you're a middle class American, you're going to
keep more of your money because of this big beautiful bill.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
There's also major support for small businesses.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Pass Through entities like LLCs and escorps are going to
continue to benefit, the White House says, from deductions spurring
entrepreneurship and growth. There's also investment and growth incentives as well.
Lower tax as the White House says on capital gains
and corporate income are seen as pro business, potentially driving
(07:52):
job creation and market performance to new levels. Now, the
overall positives on this are this economic boost. There's going
to be more money in consumers pockets that can lead
to higher spending and economic activity.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
It is a pro worker bill.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
The bill positions itself as rewarding hard works, tips, overtime,
and protecting American jobs. And then there's the long term
structural changes. By locking in the tax policy and beefing
up immigration enforcement, the White House us this is fulfilling
their long promise reforms that put American workers first, American
(08:30):
middle class workers first, and making sure they're not under
being undercut by illegal immigrants. This is, in fact, a
big beautiful bill.

Speaker Johnson just released a statement on the House passage
of the one Big Beautiful Bill. You heard him earlier,
but I want you to hear what he said quote.
The media and the Democrats have consistently dismissed any possibility

Once again, they have been proven wrong.

Today, the House has passed generational nation shaping legislation that
reduces spending permanently, lowers taxes for families and job creators,

there was some controversy, by the way, with this bill,
with two Republicans that were holdouts. You had Congressman Massing
and Congressman Davison.

The White House Press Sancretary was asked about those two
Republicans not voting in favor of the big beautiful bill.
It was pretty clear that Donald Trump has a tar
get on these two congressmen. Now, and here's what the
White House had to say about it.

You had two Republicans last night that voted against this bill, Congressman.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Massey and Davidson. Does the President think that they should
be primary?
Speaker 6 (12:11):
I believe he does, and I don't think he likes
to see grandstanders in Congress. What's the alternative. I would
ask those members of Congress. Did they want to see
a tax hike? Did they want to see our country
go bankrupt? That's the alternative by them trying to vote no.
And the President believes the Republican Party needs to be unified,
and the vast majority of Republicans clearly are and are
listening to the President. They are trusting in President Trump
(12:33):
as they should because there's a reason he's sitting in
this oval office. It's because he's the unequivocal leader of
the Republican Party, not just a president for Republicans, but
all Americans. The President's approval rating is at an all
time high right now because he knows how to deliver
in Republicans like Thomas Massey and others should take note.

That was clearly the warning from the White House. Massey
took to the floor of Congress and here is what
I had to say about his reason for voting no.

We'd love to stand here and tell the American people,
we can cut your taxes and we can increase spending,
and everything's going to be just fine, But I can't
do that because I'm here to deliver a dosa reality.
This bill dramatically increases deficits in the near term, but
promises our government will be fiscally responsible five years from now.

Where have we heard that before?
Speaker 4 (13:31):
How do you bind a future Congress to these promises?
This bill is a debt bomb ticking. Congress can do
funny math, fantasy math if it wants, but bond investors don't.
And this week they sent us a message. Moodies downgraded
our credit rating, and the bond investors who buy our
debt and finance our debt demanded higher interest rates on

the ten year note, the twenty year note, and the
thirty year note. What does this mean? Very soon the
government will be paying sixteen thousand dollars of interest interest
a loan per us family.

And what are we telling him?
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Instead of taking care of that problem, We're gonna give
you a sixteen hundred dollars tax break. Under the taxing
and spending levels in this bill, we're gonna rack up
the author say, twenty trillion dollars of new debt over
the next ten years. I'm telling you it's closer to
thirty trillion dollars of new debt in the next ten years.
Mister speaker, We're not rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic tonight.

We're putting coal in the boiler and setting a course
for the iceberg. If something is if something is beautiful,
if something is beautiful, you don't do it after midnight.

Fox Today about this bill and what it means not
only for the president but for the country.

It happened earlier today and now joining us with reaction

First, Steve, your reaction to that.

And where this goes next.

Well, this was a huge, huge victory for Trump. I
think there were really three heroes here. Obviously President Trump, who,
as you know Sandra went over to the House and
made the final pitch for this and got the final votes.
And then Mike Johnson, who has almost impossible of course,
he's the Speaker of the House. I don't know how
he did it, but he somehow sits together two hundred
(16:04):
and eighteen votes for this, and I think it was
a one vote majority that they were able to get.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
It wouldn't have happened without him.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
And then I have to say, Chip Roy, who you
may recall Sandra raised some objections to the bill last
week and I hapen to agree with some of those objections,
and you know what, they made it into a better bill.

And so now this goes to the Senate.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
I think the Senate will act sometime before fourth of July.
And I agree, we got to get this thing on
the desk of the President as quickly as possible. I
think it will be very positive for the economy and the
stock market.

You listen to seem Moore there in what he says,
and he's absolutely right, Like this is going to have
a huge impact on our economy.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Everyone knows it, that's involved in it.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
The President had a really tough job here keeping this
together with a slim margin in the House. He said
that the other day when he was on Capitol Hill
meeting with members of Congress, and this was his warning,
by the way, on a couple holdouts at the time.
Speaker 9 (17:00):
Look, the alternative is a sixty eight percent tax increase,
and you can blame the Democrats with that, Edwa or
two Brinson, as we only have Waterton, but we have
not tremendous support. But you'll have a sixty eight percent
tax increase, or you'll get a massive tax increase. You'll
get a tax cut the likes of which we've never

had to book. This is bigger than any Ronald Reagan
tax cut. It's even bigger than the tax cut that
I gave because as you know.

That's being extended an acreest.
Speaker 9 (17:32):
So this is the biggest tax cut in the history
of our temetry, or you'll get a sixty eight percent
tax increase.

Now, when you think about the numbers the President just
gave there, this was not only a huge success for
the American people, but a moment where if it didn't happen,
the taxes on everyday Americans were going to skyrocket. I
also got to give a lot of credit here to
Mike Johnson. Mike Johnson and what he he did to

get this across the finish line. Hurting cats is the
best way I can describe it.

Is incredible.

He could only lose a couple and sure enough he did,
and he was able to do it with the President's help.
But if you want to know who the biggest bad
a is in Washington right now, it is no doubt
that it's Speaker Johnson. Joe Kanca on Fox said this,
take a listen.

And right now, the MVP right in Washington for Donald
Trump is Mike Johnson. Because he is hurting cats right
where he has almost no majority, and he's been able
to pass some things already. If he could get this
thing through, get it to the Senate, get it through reconciliation,
House and Senate kind of you know, go back and forth,
and it gets to the President's desk and this thing passes,

this big, beautiful bill with all these tax.

Cuts that are in here.

Democrats had nothing to run on in twenty twenty six.
They can't run on foreign policy, they can't run on
the border, and they can't run on the economy. So

work to do too. That's why we've been talking to
the Senate for a long time. But it's their turn
to take this bill and move forward. But I'll tell
you none of this would be possible without the leadership
with President Trump, who every step of the way not
only laid out the vision, ran a campaign on this vision,

but every step of the way too, said whatever you need,
let me know.

and this one is obviously a tragic story. A shooting
that occurred outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, d C.
I was literally in front of this building just a

few days ago when I was in DC and had
been to events there as well, which is I think
the most surreal and shocking part of this anti Semitic killing.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Clearly that's what it was.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
What's even more discussing is the fact that Democrats are
refusing to condemn the deaths of these two Israelimy staff members.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
The couple had just.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Attended a young diplomat's reception hosted by the American Jewish Committee.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
They were leaving the event around nine h eight pm Eastern.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
The suspect a thirty year old from Chicago approached a
group of four individuals and opened fire with a handgun,
faintly wounding two of those that he was targeting.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Rodriguez.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
The shooter was observed pacing outside the museum prior to
the attack, and after the shooting, he entered the museum
appeared appearing distressed, leading bystanders to initially mistake him for
a victim.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
He was even given water.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
And comforted until he revealed himself as this shooter, at
which point he was attained by security personnel. Now, during
the arrests, the individual shouted, free, Free Palestine.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
I did this for Gaza, is what he said. Now.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
The victims were a couple in their late twenties. They
worked in the embassy's political department and in public diplomacy.
They were actually planning to become engaged during an upcoming
trip days away in Jerusalem, and apparently he had already
bought the ring. Authorities are investigating the incident as a
(23:20):
targeted act of violence with potential hate crimes implications, as
it should.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
The FBI and local.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Law enforcement are examining the man's background, including his online
activities and any possible connections to extremist group. Now, the
attack has widely been condemned by leaders in the United
States and Israel. President Trump described the killings as based
obviously on anti Semitism quote unquote, and called for an
end to such hatred. Israel's Prime Minster net Yahoo also
(23:50):
denounced the act, linking it to the rise of anti
Semitic sentiment and ordering increased security at Israeli diplomatic missions worldwide. Now,
this incident has also heightened concerns about the safety of
Jewish communities and institutions in this country, as we are
witnessing anti Semitic rhetoric and violence that is spilling out.
(24:13):
What's even I think more damning to the Democratic Party
and there should be no place for this in the
Democratic Party. Yet there is is the fact that Elamo
Mar of the Democratic Party refuse to condemn the killing
of the Israeli diplomats. It is despicable, is how the
White House describe it.

I do you or President Trump have a message to
politicians like Ilhan Omar who believe this morning explicitly avoided
condemning this active terror.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
It's despicable and frankly, we have seen a rise in
anti Semitic protests, of pro Hamas, protests of terrorist sympathizers.
We saw them on our college campuses, and we've seen
the Democrat Party turn a blind eye and in some
cases actually embrace such anti Semitic illegal behavior. And that's
(25:04):
why this administration has done more than any administration in
history to crack down on anti Semitism. As you know,
in January, when the President took office, he signed a
new executive order to combat anti Semitism. He created a
commission focused on doing just that. The Justice Department announced
their task force as well. The Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
has revoked thousands of student visas from campuses where these
(25:27):
pro Palace pro Hamas, terrorist campus agitators and violent protests
took place. And we've also withheld funding from those very
campuses as well in an effort to combat anti semitism.
So the President's made it very clear that such hatred
will have no place in our country.

I love how clear the White House is on this one.
I also want to play for you, and we now
have word. The FBI's investigating the DC shooting is an
act of targeted violence, is how they've described it. So far,
after this young Jewish couple is brutally murdered, and I
want you to hear what was also said on CNN.

CNN apparently their main worry isn't.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
The safety of Jews, it's how the backlash might affect
anti Israel protesters. Yes, that's their actual angle on this
and the FBI investigation. As they had a witness that
was there. They had them on TV this morning, and
again I want you to hear their narrative. It's very
clear their main worry is not the safety of Jews.
(26:30):
After two Jewish individuals, this couple was brutally murdered, they're
worried how the backlash might affect anti Israel protesters, the
same ones calling for the death of Jewish people, the
death of Israel from the river to the sea.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
We've seen this on college campuses.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You cannot hide this level of anti Semitism here, it
is in real life on CNN.
Speaker 11 (26:52):
As you go forward, as you go forward with what
you have seen, can you give us any sense because
you said you look the shooter in the eyes, can
you give us any sense of what you saw in him?
As he was sort of getting help and people were
tending to him as if he too was a victim
of seeing this.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, it would be clear.
Speaker 13 (27:13):
I like heard about that part because we were in
the secure room when he initially walked in. I just
saw him screaming and then being handcuffed. But what I
saw in his eyes, I mean, I went to Columbia
for grads.

Go on.
Speaker 13 (27:24):
I saw the same thing in his eyes as I
saw in the eyes of all the protesters at Columbia.
Nothing different between him and them.
Speaker 11 (27:32):
But they did not create this horrific shooting. They did not,
you know, sort of.

They didn't shoot.
Speaker 13 (27:40):
They gave permission. They gave the permission, and they have
called for this. They have called for and to fought
a revolution, which is the same thing he yelled last night.
Speaker 11 (27:51):
Do you worry that there will be a come conslation though,
of the two, those people who are speaking their mind,
who really care about what is happened in Gaza, and
those people who are like this person who did this
horrific shooting, who intend to do harm.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
A conflation.
Speaker 13 (28:10):
I mean, they are calling for intifada at Columbia University.
They call for intifada constantly. Now they're not quietly, they're loud.
They're loud, you can hear it. They make recordings of themselves.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
So what's the difference. Are you afraid? Yes, what We're
all afraid. Everyone should be afraid.
Speaker 11 (28:31):
What are you doing to try to make yourself feel safer?
Speaker 13 (28:36):
Why can't you just go on and live your life.
I'm a New Yorker, I remember nine to eleven. You
can't let them make you be afraid.

You have to go on.

You have to live your life and hopefully your government
does things to protect you.

Last night, our government failed us.

Jonathan Epstein. I know that they are going forward with this.
There is expected to be charges in this case. We
will see what happens, but I know you'll be watching
and we'll talk to you again as this goes forward.

I mean, it is shocking to hear CNN do this
interview this way where they're like, well, aren't you worried
about you know, what's going to happen to the protesters
and their ability to like what world are you living in?
And he's right. At Columbia University, they were calling for evatada.
They were calling for the death of Jewish students in PR.

This is what they had in their article, for example,
and this is absolutely an excusable anti Semitic behavior by NPR.
This is the reason why I'm in favor of defunding
NPR as soon as we possibly can. Their headline was,
here's what we know about the two Israeli embassy staffers
killed in Washington, d C. Then in their second paragraph
it says, and more notably, as Israel ramps up it's
(29:50):
offensive in Gaza, where the risk of famine looms for
a population ground down by a month's long blockade.

That's what they wrote in the second.

Paragraph. Right, like, justifying is what they're doing. They're justifying
these types of attacks. This is in PR. In their
own words, they're saying, yeah, well, you got to understand
why this has happened, right, I mean, you look at
defunding NPR.

The American Jewish community is.

Not a pro Israel advocacy group is another way of
describing it. In this article, is an American Jewish community group.
They know what they're doing with their lies. And here's
their headline to Israeli embassy aids are killed in a
shooting in DC. Officials say, okay, so then you moved
the second part quote. Shortly after nine pm, as an
event by the Pro Israel Advocacy Group American Jewish Community

wrapped up at a local Jewish museum in downtown DC,
a man was observed pacing back and forth outside of
the building. Metropolitan Police chief said, so, now, if if
you're Jewish and you go to a Jewish event, you're
like a pro Israel advocacy group.

That's like, so if I'm an American and I go
to Fourth of July event, that what does that label
mean now? As it is insanity what we are witnessing
right now, it is total insanity. I got something really

There aren't many films out in the landscape anymore where
you can bring the whole family and not the soccer
any sweet types of films, the films that actually have
a bite to it that the whole family can go to, kids, grandparents,

I got to cover years or eyes. You're gonna have
some great films. You can have great action with the

bull riding, but you're gonna have a story about families
and broken families and how are you men to fractured family?
And for me, you do it through faith. And when
I went through all my difficult things in life, it
was always my faith that got me through. Faith and
my wife are may Those two things have been my
two greatest things in my life. And now I get
to write about both of them, and starn and opposite

my wife. So I'm just I'm so excited about this
film it's hard to even put it into words.

Then you talked about doing this with your wife.

Have you guys ever gotten to act before in movies
or is this the first time.

You're the leader and she's my wife's ever acted before.
When I wrote the film, like okay, honey, so you know,
I've always wanted to be the John Wayne guy who
you know is here in the end who has to
kick the girl in the end. She's like yeah. I'm like, well,
I'm finally gonna do it. She's like, okay, but I
need to do it with you because I won't kiss
anybody else. He goes, I'm not an actress. I'm like,
well you are now. And she did awesome. I'm so
(34:13):
proud of her. You know, she was a runway model,
she was a supermodel, so she understands the pressure of
being in front of people and delivering. So for her
in front of a camera, it was very natural and
I'm just so happy. I'm so happy for her. Now.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
When you wrote this, you also have real stars in
here as well that you that you mentioned a moment
ago PBR stars. What brought you the idea to even
write the script specifically with bull riding.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
I'm a big fan.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
I've gone to a lot of different Rodeos eight second Tour,
et cetera. It is a brutal sport. What inspired you
to use this as the backdrop?
Speaker 7 (34:47):
Well, Ben, I was doing another film at the time
called The Warrants, another Western that Ravee and I are producing.
And you know, when I'm not around Revenge, she was
home at the time with the kids. When I'm not
around my family, I get really just downright kind of depressed.
The times it's really hard. I don't like being on
the road. So but this one day I was driving
home from set in Arizona, and I got gut punched
(35:07):
with his thoughts that what whatever happened to me if
something happened to Rebee, And then I pulled over to
the side of the road just kind of buckled. And
then this other idea came in my head, which I
it have to be from God, because I didn't know
a whole lot about bull riding, and this idea came
into my head right rocking on a bull or a
grandfather who has to save his grandson because he's dying
(35:28):
of the same brain tumor they killed his wife. This
came out, and I don't know where they came from,
but it just did and then I sat in the
side of the ten freeway for two hours voice dictating
into my phone because I'm dyslexic, so I'm not very
good at writing, so I always do all my writing
through voice dictations, and I sent it up to my
writing partner and within the week we had our first draft.
(35:50):
In a week later, Reve and I raised the financing
and Angel Studios came on board, and here we are
almost two years later, and it's just it's kind of miraculous.
I mean, it really is.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Well, you mentioned that there's a family friendly movie. You
don't have to worry. That's one of the reasons why
I wanted to have you on how tough is it
to produce movies like this in the environment we're in now,
Because I know you had friends and people that you
could go to for financing, but saddling up to do
a pro bull riding movie and on top of having
all the pressure behind you of getting this out and
(36:22):
then getting it to the big screen, it's not an
easy task, especially in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 7 (36:28):
No, it's not. It's you know, it's a minor miracle
to pull any film off, but for this one, you know,
God led me the whole way in this one. I
wanted John Abne to direct it, and the amazing John
Abnet and one incredible director he is he killed it.
I wanted Michael T. Williamson and Christopher McDonald to play
my two guys in the film, and there two of
my best friends of life, and we went after you know,
(36:49):
my one of my best friends back home, Lim Griffin
helped us with the film, and then these other financiers
came to me and said, hey, we know what you're doing.
We really like what you're doing with your message and
Angel Studios, we like to help financi your next film.
So between those two parties, all of a sudden, we
had our budget, we had distribution, and everything just kind
of went according to plan, which was kind of miraculous. Yeah,
(37:12):
there's always pickups, there's there's always variables that you wouldn't
even think of, but we always knew that we weren't
doing something that was for his glory, not our own,
and everyone bought into it. So when you say Hollywood
doesn't want that stuff, I think that in their heart
of hearts, they actually do. And I think that this
(37:34):
film was a whole lot easier to make than other
films because it did have a faith backdrop. It was
a film that the whole family can go too, you know.
So I think I think the landscape is changing a
lot of it thanks to Angel Studios and you know,
our partnership with Angel and the films we've been doing.
That you could make these smaller films and turn a profit,
(37:56):
and that's great for everybody. And to be able to
put these movies out and have the support of all
the fans who go to the films and buy tickets
and pay it forward anything we do with Angels, it's
just it's so humbling that it's again it's hard to
I get so choked up just thinking about how fortunate
I am and blessed I am to be able to
sit here on a show like this and talk about

this amazing film that we have coming out.

Last question for you, there's a rumor that you actually
got injured while bull riding.

Okay? I love I love when I get good intel.

Yeah, I got busted up a lot. You know. We
trained for months and months and months to make sure
I look as authentic as possible, and yeah, you know,
busted up my wrists. My I busted a few other
things with my shoulder popped out that hurt like the dickens,
But I didn't tell anybody. I just went around the
corner and snapped it back in at this barn net
(38:51):
this door around the corner, and I popped back in.
I had like tears in my eyes, and John's like
y okay, I'm like yep, ready, let's roll. And I
didn't tell them the story for three months later because
if I told him here to shut it down and
everyone have gone crazy, Like I'm just I'm a tough
old dude, So I just like I kept it to
myself and a couple other injuries that happened that hey,
(39:12):
those are war wounds that I consider as trophies and metals.
