Speaker 1 (00:01):
There are two things that are happening right now in
this country because of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. One
is truly a spiritual revival we are witnessing right now,
as attendance at church across the country in many places
was as high as it is on Easter Sunday and
Christmas Eve services. We are also witnessing a younger generation
(00:24):
who is now proudly standing up like never before for
what they believe in instead of being bullied into silence
by the radical left. We are also getting to know
the stories of Charlie Kirk and just how dedicated he
was to what he believed in. There's also a second
(00:46):
part of this story, and that is the accountability for
the radical left. We are witnessing now. Leftists who celebrated
Charlie Kirk's assassination are being held accountable, being fired at
a rapid rate, and conservatives are uniting to make sure
that these individuals, especially at high schools and colleges, are
(01:10):
no longer in a position to indoctrinate a generation to
believing that violence is the way to silence speech that
you disagree with. Before we get into all of that, though,
I want you to hear some truly inspiring words by
the pastor of Charlie Kirk and what he had to
(01:34):
say about Charlie, his friend and his passing. Listen carefully.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Charlie Kirk is irreplaceable. Charlie Kirk is a once in
a generation mind and soul and anointing and heart. Charlie
Kirk was a rare combination of evangelist, apologist and political strategist.
One of our most recent communications, he said, thank you.
(02:02):
I have a ton of questions. I didn't ask for it,
but I have become a high profile defender of the faith.
I need to be the best I can. I said,
I'd be honored to serve for free, invisibly as needed.
You have an anointing to steward and it's massive. Proud
of you and pray for you and your family daily.
Charlie Kirk and I had been communicating. I was on
(02:25):
vacation with my wife and he was asking one week
could get together for a half day. He had a
bunch of questions about the Christian faith that he wanted
to wipe board out, and I told him it would
be a great honor of my life to try and
serve him He told me that he felt like God
gave him this platform an opportunity so that he could
become an evangelist and apologist to the next generation. He
(02:48):
wanted to make it his primary message and life work
to proclaim the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
which is evangelism, and then defend it by answering criticisms, questions,
and objections, which is called apologetics, which means to defend
the faith. Charlie Kirk stepped into a level of spiritual
(03:10):
warfare that I believe moved him to the top of
the enemy's hit list and to some degree contributed to
his assassination, his murder, and has martyrdom today. And I
do not use those words lightly. Those are entirely accurate
and fit the description of the demonic activity that we
saw today. Charlie wanted people to meet Jesus Christ, and
(03:32):
he wanted to do the best job that he could
presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And as a result,
Charlie was going to campuses and he was proclaiming Jesus
and he was answering questions, and he was a generational
master in doing what the Bible says and that is
(03:53):
to give an answer to everyone for the hope that
you have with gentleness and respect. He was a joyful,
happy warrior. He had a great smile. He was kind
to his enemies. He tried to have a good time
even when they were trying to give him a bad time.
(04:13):
His impact on this generation cannot be overstated. I believe
it is absolutely non hyperbolic to say that he is
the greatest conservative voice of this generation alive on planet Earth.
And one of the last times I saw him was backstage.
(04:34):
It was actually some months ago, I believe, when JD
Vance was in town and Charlie invited me to come
meet JD in the greenroom and hang out with them,
and I walked in with a big smile. He gave
me a big hug and he said, he said, I
need you to be praying for me, Pastor. I said, absolutely,
I pray for Charlie every day my wife and I have,
and for his beautiful family. He said, he said, I
(04:58):
think they're going to try and kill me. And he
said if we lose, I think they're going to incarcerate me.
Here's a young man with a family who's willing to
sacrifice his own life and well being, and the joy
he had with a wife whom he very much loved
and children that he completely adored. For the sake of
(05:18):
selfless service and sacrifice out of love for others. Charlie
is was and will forever be one of the most
significant men who walked on planet Earth in his generation.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
You listen to Charlie's pastor there talking about how much
he wanted to prepare, how much he wanted to make
sure that he was prepared for the questions about the Gospel,
about his faith being an apologist. That is how much
he cared about spreading the Gospel to the world. There's
(05:56):
also incredible things that have come out of this. Give
you an exam that that happened and was just sent
to me a moment ago.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
JD.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Vance, the Vice President the United States of America, will
have the quote honor as he put out on social
media of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show. He said, please
join me as I paid tribute to my friend. Apparently
he will be doing this from the White House. There's
also part of what Charlie's legacy was, and it was
(06:24):
an important one, was making sure that the Left didn't
get a hold of our children indoctrinate them the way
they've been doing it in such a radical way. And
we're now witnessing leftists who celebrated Charlie kirk assassination or
being fired at a rapid pace. Those leftists who celebrated
(06:44):
the assassination of Charlie are now facing serious consequences, consequences
of sunlight after they were excited that Charlie was murdered.
Others are being identified and called out, then placed on
leave or suspect. According to a running thread that keeps
count on social media platform x As you know, we
(07:08):
understand how extreme the left has become, but what we
are witnessing right now is that there are many who
are dedicating their time to exposing far left radicals, and
one of those groups, Libs of TikTok, is doing a
lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to pointing
out how much violence and hate are still brewing on
(07:30):
the left regarding Charlie. A teacher, for example, at King
Elementary School posts a video online appearing to celebrate Charlie
being assassinated. This person teaches your children. Any comments and
guess what happened when that was posted about a teacher
at King elementary school. There has now been accountability. There
(07:54):
is another post by another teacher at another high school
in Maine and what happened there. She said, we're not
offering sympathy moments after Charlie Kirk was shot. This teacher
has also been exposed. Republican activist Scott Presler is also
creating a database of such behavior and encouraging his followers
(08:18):
to send him any examples that they see online. Another
Pennsylvania teacher by the name of Susan another high school.
One of Presler's posts made it clear this is a
woman who said, so yeah, I don't really care that
someone shot him dead. F him. This is another teacher
teaching your children, and so yes, there is some accountability
(08:42):
for the radical left that has been creating these killers,
these monsters. All right, I want to take a moment
and I want to talk to you real quick about
what you can do to help the people in Israel.
It was nearly two years ago that the terrorists murdered
more than twelve hundred innocent Israelis and they took two
(09:04):
hundred and fifty hostages. Today, it seems as if the
cries of the dead and dying have been drowned out
by the shouts of anti Semitism and just pure hatred,
not just in America but around the world. And the
most brutal attack on Jewish people happened. It happened since
the Holocausts, and now it's like they're trying to act
like it never happened. Now, this is where it is
(09:26):
important for us to stand with the people in Israel.
It's a movement of love and support for the people
of Israel, and this is where I want you to
get involved. It is called Flags of Fellowship. It's being
organized by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. On
October fifth, you can stand with Israel and the victims proudly.
(09:50):
Just a few weeks away, millions across America will prayerfully
plant an Israeli flag in honor and solidarity with the
victims of October the seven, twenty twenty three, and stand
with their grieving families. You can be a part of
this movement as well. And that's what I love about
what IFCJ does. They're making sure that the world knows
(10:13):
there are there are lots of people of faith in
this country and friends and advocates for Israel. They're going
to stand with them. You can get more information about
how you can join the Flags of Fellowship movement, including
your church. There are going to be countless churches around
the country. They're going to plant flags as well. So
all you have to do to get involved with Flags
(10:35):
of Fellowship movement is go to IFCJ dot org. That's
IFCJ dot org Stand with Israel on October the fifth.
It's just a few weeks away. And if your church
you think would want to be involved, you can also
find out more about how to get your church to
be involved on a special Sunday at IFCJ dot org.
(10:55):
That's if CJ dot org. There is also a shocking
statistic that needs to be brought up. And you understand
now how this younger generation has become so violent because
the radical left that is controlling our schools and these
teachers that I was just mentioning are in doctrine in
your kids to believe that violence is okay if it's
(11:18):
against someone you don't like. How bad has it gotten
The radical Democratic Party has done this to our youngest generation.
Political violence is never acceptable, is the poll question of
baby boomers. Ninety three percent say political violence is never acceptable.
(11:38):
The number then goes down with gen X to eighty
six percent who say political violence is never acceptable. The
number drops even lower with millennials to seventy one percent.
Just seventy one percent of millennials say political violence is
never acceptable. But here's the number you need to really
understand the left that's taken over our universities, in our
(11:59):
school public and private, have convinced the gen Zers the
political violence is acceptable. In fact, just fifty eight percent
of gen Zers say the political violence is never acceptable,
meaning forty two percent of gen Zer's believe the political
(12:21):
violence and what we've witnessed with Charlie Kirk is acceptable.
I want you to think about that. So, Yes, as
Reverend Franklin Graham put it, Charlie Kirk's voice is being magnified. Yes,
churches are full. Yes people are searching. Yes, people are
(12:42):
thinking and talking about what Charlie Kirk believed in. Yes,
more people now than probably ever before are watching and
listening to what Charlie Kirk had said in the past.
But the reality is also very clear, there is still
a lot of hate. There is still a lot of
(13:03):
people out there that are celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk.
I want to play for you with the Speaker of
the House, Mike Johnson, had to say, as he was
one of the first to speak at the prayer vigil
at the Kennedy Center that was put on with forty
eight hours notice, and I want you to listen carefully
(13:23):
to his message about who Charlie Kirk was and what
it means going forward.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
No, no, right, Thank you all so much. It does
my heart good to see you, and they hear that
all the way in heaven. I'm telling you, it's been
a very, very difficult week in America. We all know
that it's been a mixture of unspeakable sadness and grief
and anger and even fear. It's as if a dark
(14:11):
shadow was cast over our country, and certainly here even
on Capitol Hill.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
The leaders of the nation have been shaken.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
As have university students and college students and young people
all across the country. Is as if the ground was
shifted beneath us. We all felt it deep deep inside.
And in spite of that, we remember that our dear
friend Charlie would never want us to be overcome by despair.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
He would want exactly the opposite.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
You know, Charlie Kirk recruited and trained and educated a
generation of happy warriors, and we do well to be
reminded that the best way to honor his memory and
to honor his unmatched legacy, is to live as Charlie did.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
That's right. I just have two thoughts.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
At a very brief moment I'm given to speak to
you tonight, I just want to give you two thoughts
in that regard. If we can do two things that
Charlie did, we will honor that legacy. One is to
advance his principles, and the other is to adopt his approach.
Now regarding his principles, Charlie was a man of deep
faith and conviction. Everyone here can testify to that, and
(15:34):
all the speakers will tonight. I mean, he meant it
to his core. He was authentic, and that's what drew
people to the message so much. And he believed in
the things that are noble and praiseworthy and good that
scripture talks about. He believed in family and freedom, faith
and virtue and patriotism. See, Charlie understood that we live
in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
(15:55):
It's not even close. I don't care what anybody argues,
and Charlie could beat them all. We're the most We're
the most free, most successful, most powerful, most benevolent nation
(16:16):
that has ever been on the earth. And Charlie understood why,
and he wanted others to understand it as well, because
Charlie knew that if you don't understand the source.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Of your freedom, it is easy for it to be
taken away.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Charlie believed in the creed of our country, which we
will celebrate our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary next year, right.
Charlie loved to take university students and young people through
the second paragraph of the declaration. We hold these truths
to be self evident. By the way, students, what is
(16:48):
the self evident truth? That's something that's obvious. We hold
these truths to be self evident. That all men are
created equal, not born equal, created equal.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
That's what Charlie knew.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
And Charlie knew that because of that, because what the
Founders said, what they articulated that God created us, He's
the one that gave us our inn ailible rights. Charlie
Kirk stood for the principle and he shared it everywhere.
He could our rights do not derive from the state
or a king, They come from the King of kings.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Charlie also taught.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
So effectively he did it as well as anybody in
his generation or possibly for many generations, that the other
principles that come from that what the founders do and
when they put this country together, this grand experiment in
self governance, they understood that we are made in the
image of God.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
And because of that, that's right. Because of that, Charlie
knew and he believed.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
It, and you could see it in how he he
advanced this ministry of his.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
He knew that because we're all made in the image
of God, every single person has an estimable dignity and value.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
And your values are not related in any way or
the color of your skin, or what zip code you
live in where you go to school. It's irrelevant your
values and hear it because it is given to you
by God.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
That's what Charlie Kirk believed. That's what Charlie Kirk believed.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
If we could advance those principles that Charlie advanced, we'll
be able to save this great republic.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
And that's what he was all about. But we should
also adopt his approach.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
See Charlie loved a vigorous debate, but he loved people
more Charlie. That's right, Charlie. Charlie was never motivated by hate.
I mean he could cling the thock of anybody in
a debate. We all know it.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
But you know what he did after those debates.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
He was always the first person to reach out a
hand of friendship or to offer an arm around the
shoulder of someone who he felt was lost, because in
many places, inny cases, that people he was debating were
indeed loss, not just philosophically but spiritually.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
And Charlie knew the truth, and he knew that eternity
awaits us all. We know exactly where Charlie is right now,
that's right.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Charlie had such faith and such such belief, and he
wanted to share that truth with others. And what he
was trying to do is pull people back from the abyss,
not just to save a country, but to save souls.
That's what Charlie Kirk was about. And that will resonate.
It goes far beyond him. His legacy is immeasurable. I
used to be a lawyer. I defended free speech and
(19:45):
religious freedom and all that in the courts, and we
tried to We talked a lot about advancing and preserving
the free marketplace of ideas. I think Charlie Kirk offered
more productive content the free market place of ideas than
anyone in its general and arguably in the last hundred.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Years of US history.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
I could go on and on, but I'm out of
time because you have a lot.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Of great people to hear from tonight.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Everybody has a story about Charlie and they're all worthy
to be shared.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
And I wouldn't know.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
We'll be doing that for many days to come. I
just leave you with a thought from Edmund Burke. It's
attributed to him, and Charlie knew this quote well. He
was my friend. We talked about these things. He reminded
young people, all that is necessary for the triumph of
evil is that good men do nothing. Charlie Kirk did
so much in his short life that he spurred that
(20:42):
on in other people. He inspired it in other people,
and that message and that truth will go.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
More boldly now than it did while he was here.
It will go forward with power and strength.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I've been asked to offer a brief word of prayer,
so if you would do that with me. Heavenly Father,
we come to you tonight in sadness, but also with
grateful hearts because we know that your truth endoors. We
know where our dear brother and friend, Charlie is. We
thank you that he is receiving his reward and that
he's heard those words that we all aspire to hear.
(21:25):
Well done, good and faithful servant, Father, help us to
remember the principles of your word that Charlie worked every
day to advance. That we do not return evil for evil,
but we over to not come evil with good. And
we pray that you bless our friend and brother's legacy,
that it goes on roars on throughout the nation. That
(21:48):
you pray and encourage and inspire Erica, the children, the
Kirk family, the Turning Point staff, and all the volunteers
and supporters, and every student around the nation who is
who is already connected to this organization in the eighteen
thousand plus.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
Quiries that they received this week for new chapters.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Heavenly Father, we pray that you bless that in such
a supernatural, exponential way that no one can explain it,
but that your spirit has been involved. We pray and
believe all this. We commit our great nation to you
in Jesus' name.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Amen, you're the speaker of the house. There Mike Johnson
telling that incredible story of Charlie Kirk, his life and
his legacy. We are also hearing from the Pentagon there
will be, as they are describing it, a zero tolerance
(22:42):
policy for the cheering of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Pentagon officials
are now actively monitoring an alarming wave of public celebrations
over the assassination of Charlie Kirk and weighing action against
any military members or to Apartment personnel who are involved.
The Defense Secretary p Deadseth, along with multiple other military
(23:05):
and department leaders, said the department is quote tracking celebrations
of Kirk's death among personnel and promised the issue will
be addressed immediately. In the wake of the assassination, there
is a lot of left leaning users on x blue
Sky and TikTok that are openly cheering the conservative leader's murder.
(23:28):
Several accounts allegedly tied to military personnel popping up quote
It's unacceptable for military personnel and Department of War civilians
to celebrator mock the assassination of a fellow American. That's
of the Pentagon's chief spokesman, Sean Parnell, a friend of mine,
by the way, posts on X saying the Department of
War has zero tolerance for it. It is unacceptable for
(23:51):
military personnel and Department of War civilians to celebrator mock
the assassination of a fellow American period. The Department of
the Air is also aware of inappropriate comments concerning recent
political violence. This behavior is unacceptable and contrary to our
core values. Airmen and guardsmen are expected up hold the
(24:12):
highest standard of professionalism and conduct at all times. This
is just one example of how left and how that,
I should say, the radical left has decided to indoctrinate
a younger generation to believe that if you're angry, you
can kill, if you're angry, you can have riots, if
(24:33):
you're angry, you can have violence. And what we've witnessed
since the assassination of Charlie Kirk is this, When the
right's angry, there are prayer visuals. When the left is angry,
there are riots and violence. We are clearly not the same.
I want to talk to you about my friends over
(24:53):
at Patriot Mobile. You've got a lot of choices for
cell phone service, with new ones popping up all all
the time. But if you want to make a difference
and you want to stop giving your money to liberal companies, well,
one way you can do that is by getting rid
of Liberal Mobile you probably have right now. That is
where hundreds of thousands of Americans are now coming together
(25:15):
and have made Patriot Mobile what they are today. They've
been in service now for thirteen years, and right now
is the best time ever to switch, because it's never
been easier. Now, before I tell you about that, I
want you to know why switching is so important. Because
every time you make a call, every time you send
a text, and every time that you pay your bill,
(25:36):
you're actually standing up for the values you believe in
your First and your Second Amendment rights, the rights of
unborn children, and you stand with our military, our veterans,
are wounded warriors, and our fallen soldier families. Because Patriot
Mobile takes about five percent of your bill every month
at no extra cost to you, and they give it
back to these organizations that fight for our values. Now,
(25:58):
let's talk about switching. Is ever been easier You can
keep your same number, keep your same phone, or upgrade.
Patriot Mobile's got a one hundred percent US based customer
service team and literally they can now with technology get
you activated in minutes from the comforty your home or
your office. You're second a contractor owe money on your phones,
no worries. Patriot Mobile has a contract buyout program. And
(26:21):
this is how we win, folks by aligning our spinning
with our values. Every dollar we spend matters. Now, let
me also give you a free month of service. Go
to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot
com slash ferguson, or you can call them nine to
seven to two Patriot use the promo code ferguson and
(26:44):
you're gonna get one month free service by switching today.
So again, Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Use the promo
code ferguson. You'll get a free month of service today
Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven to two.
Patriot also had the President the United States of America
doing something that was incredible, ordering on Wednesday that all
(27:06):
American flags be lowered to have staff until Sunday evening
at six o'clock for one reason, to honor Charlie Kirk.
I look at what is happening also online, and what
we are witnessing right now is people flocking to videos
of Charlie Kirk's most important moments, things that he said
(27:28):
in the past, things that he believed in, watching church
services that he was involved in, commentary that he was
involved in. And there's even some Democrats that are breaking
with their party. John Fetterman, being mocked now begging Democrats
to stop calling Trump names the Democratic Party. He's now
(27:50):
a black sheep, as he's been described by The Daily Beast,
says of President Trump, it is unprecedented the number of
attacks on his administration, John Fetterman saying, is time that
it all stops. That it's something that we should not
have And what are Democrats doing right now? They're attacking
(28:12):
John Fetterman. Take a listen to part of what he
had to say about his own party.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
I'm never going to change my party, but clearly we've
lost the argument. And now right now I think it's
entirely appropriate to really be honest and just figure out
why exactly have we effectively lost two out of less
three cycles and then a lot of the things. We've
really kind of really lost our connection with American voters
(28:41):
in ways. And I think we can't just be well,
Trump is always wrong, or that we're going to set
the country on fire or whatever. That's just not true either,
of course. But you know, when I represent a state
like Pennsylvania, that keeps you honest and you always can't
forget that a lot of Americans happen to disagree with you,
(29:02):
that does not mean that they are fascists or now
they want to shred the Constitution.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
But when you hear some Democrats saying Trump is acting
like an.
Speaker 5 (29:11):
Autocrat, yeah, no, that's the thing. I if you actually
compare them to an actual autocrat, that is not just that.
Now last night, for example, people were complain they're protesting
about oh, that's the Hitler Hitler thing. You just don't
ever ever compare anyone to Hitler and those kinds of
extreme things. Now, look what happened to Charlie Kirk. I mean,
(29:34):
the man was shot. Now we have to turn the
temperature down. It's like, we can't compare people to these
kinds of figures in history, and this is not an autocrat.
This is a product of a democratic election.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
So you don't think that Trump is at all shattering
any of the norms of democracy.
Speaker 5 (29:51):
In any way. I'm saying he's definitely different, but that's
what America voted for. Again, I don't agree with many
of these things, but that does not make him an
autocra atic.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Things I hear from Democrats a lot saying a reason
why voters may not like Democrats because they don't fight
hard enough.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
Democrats would be fighting harder.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
What do you say to folks, exactly what exactly is fighting?
What is fighting? You know, delay more votes or just
vote every no on everything, or saying well, if they're
doing X, well, then that mean it's wrong that kind
of thing. It's like, what exactly is is fighting? I'll
give you an example. It could be shutting the government down, like.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Some Democrats say, if this happens, it will be Trump's faults.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
That's not fighting. That's mutilating our nation. If you vote
to shut our government down, you are going to harm
millions of Americans. And why would you do this? Where's
our leverage? It was wrong. It was wrong for the
Republicans to do that. Absolutely that's true. It is wrong
for the Republicans to do that. It would just be
(30:50):
wrong for us for those things.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Bigger picture, as your party shifted or have you shifted ideologically.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
My party is acting in a way they have for gotten.
They have forgotten one of the reasons why we lost
in twenty twenty four. Some of the most extreme things
were weaponized against that and now some people think, now
we have to double down on those things, or we
must become more progressive or more extreme. That's absolutely just
not that's absolutely not true. The seven or eight states
(31:18):
that are going to determine who's going to be our
next the next president, you know, we have to win
in those states, and I understand what that takes. And
a lot of these ideas that are now putting back
and being reinduced are not going to carry, you know, Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
You listen to Fetterman and it seems like he's saying
the Democratic Party has left him because of the radicals
which are controlling it. I couldn't agree with him more.
Don't forget Share this podcast wherever you can with your
family and your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
