Speaker 1 (00:01):
An illegal truck driver behind a fatal U turn failed
the English language tests. We're now finding out at mile
marker one seventy on the Florida Turnpike, a semi truck
driver executed an illegal U turn in an area designated
quote official use only. It has caused a fatal collision

(00:23):
and three fatalities in a Chrysler Town and Country minivan
were killed a thirty seven year old woman, a thirty
year old man, and a fifty four year old man
from Miami. The truck driver is, unfortunately where the tragic
story begins, identified as a twenty eight year old Indian

(00:44):
national living illegally in the United States of America. He
entered the country in twenty eighteen, reportedly via Mexico, and
was actually granted a work permit in June of twenty
twenty one after an earlier denial under the Trump administration,

(01:05):
meaning Joe Biden allowed this to happen. We also are
finding out more about the licensing details of the illegal immigrant.
The man literally held a CDL, a commercial driver's license,
something that is supposed to be hard to get, but
it wasn't for this illegal immigrant because he went to
a sanctuary state. And it was issued by California, one

(01:30):
of nineteen states plus DC that will actually grant CDLs
regardless of immigration status. That is why we would refer
to them as a sanctuary state. Federal testing after the
crash revealed that the man failed to properly interpret basic

(01:51):
English instructions and road signs. He answered only two of
twelve English questions correctly, and it didni fied just one
of ford traffic signs correctly. Legal charges are also going
to take place, but the damage has already been done.
The driver now faces three counts of vhicular homicide and

(02:16):
immigration violations. An ice detainer has been issued and federal
authorities are requesting as transfer once state proceedings conclude. We
also had these shocking video evidence that went viral. The
dashcam footage from inside the truck capturing the illegal maneuver
and ensuing crash at surfaced and circulated widely, also showing

(02:39):
a man that really didn't seem to care much that
he had just taken the lives of three individuals. Now,
the legal and political fallout is even bigger. In Florida,
each count of hicular homicide can carry up to fifteen years,
meaning the maximum of forty five years in prison if
he is convicted on all three. Prosecutors also must prove

(03:03):
recklessness and not just negligence to receive that sentence. Federal
state crash is also another part of the problem here,
also the question of federal and state and what's going
to happen there. The Department of Homeland Security criticized California's
licensing policies, calling it asinine, while California officials and legal

(03:28):
experts counter that the man had quote a valid visa
and work permit when he received his license, validating compliance
with legal requirements, even though apparently couldn't even read the
basic road signs. And then there's the bigger question, how
many more are out there on the roadways who have
been given CDLs who can't speak English and don't know

(03:51):
what the signs say on the roads they're driving with
an eighteen wheeler. Public reaction is going to play a
large part in this. The incident has sparked intense backlash,
fueling political debate over sanctuary state policies and also these
states that are permitting undocumented illegal immigrants to obtain CDLs.

(04:15):
California Governor Gavin Newsom is also facing particularly sharp criticism
over the entire episode. So if you look at it
and step back, here's the takeaway. You have a semi
truck driver who killed three Americans while making an illegal
U turn in Florida, failed an English language proficiency test

(04:36):
and also failed to accurately identify highway traffic signs. In
the press release from the Department of Transportation, it was
revealed that officials of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
had launched an investigation into the deadly.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Crash in Florida.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
During the interview with the driver they are now saying
publicly who has been identified, investigators administered a Engli nguage
proficiency assessment. He failed the assessment and only provided quote
correct answers to just two of twelve verbal questions. And again,
as I mentioned earlier, the report now states he only

(05:12):
accurately identified one of four highway traffic signs. It states
that he had he followed the rules, this driver would
have never been behind the wheel and the three precious
lives would still be with us. The Transportation Secretary Sean
Duffy saying in a statement, quote this crash was a
preventable tragedy, directly caused by reckless decisions and compounded by

(05:37):
despicable failures, non enforcement and radical immigration policies have turned
the trucking industry into a lawless frontier, resulting, he says,
in unqualified foreign drivers improperly acquiring licenses to operate forty
ton vehicles. The press release from Sean Duffy Transportation secont

(06:00):
Terry also revealed that on July the fifteenth of twenty
twenty three, Washington State, we are now being told, issued
the man a quote regular, full term commercial driver's license,
and then on July twenty third of twenty twenty four,
the driver was issued a limited term slash CDL in

(06:23):
California as well. So the federal investigators administering all of this,
and they know that this guy can't speak English, doesn't
know the signs, and then killed three people, and yet
Democrats are still defending the practice of giving illegal immigrants
CDL licenses to drive eighteen millers in America. There's no

(06:45):
doubt that Sean Duffy and the Trump administration are gonna
do everything they can to make sure this stops happening,
especially in light of what we just witnessed. I want
to talk to you about my friends over at Patriot Mobile.

to seven to two Patriot. I want to take you
back to oh what a week and a half ago
when the President of United States of America announced he
was going to federalize law enforcement in Washington, d C.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Take charge and fight crime.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
What did the left in the media say, Well, I
can tell you because I was on TV that night
on CNN, and they said the president all this was
was him being a narcissist, a dictator, and this is
all about Donald Trump wanting to be in charge. And
I asked the question, why is it you guys hate
Donald Trump so much to the point where you won't

(09:36):
even advocate from fighting crime when people are dying in Washington,
d C. They then said Donald Trump doesn't know how
to fight crime, and that this is all for the cameras.
It's all theatrics, that he wasn't actually going to fight
crime in high crime areas in Washington, d C. He
was just going to put him around the National Mall.

(09:57):
Well guess what that was also a line, how do
we know it? Take a list in the White House
Press Secretary Caroline Levitt is she explains exactly what's happened
in just over a week of data they've now received.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
President Trump's efforts to make DC safe again are working.
There have been a total of four hundred and sixty
five arrests since the start of this operation on Thursday,
August seventh. Last night, there were a total of fifty
two arrests, including the arrest of an illegal alien MS
thirteen gang member with convictions for DWI and drug possession.

(10:34):
Thanks to President Trump's leadership in the outstanding work of
both federal and local law enforcement, dangerous gang members like
the one picked up last night will not be allowed
on the streets of our nation's capital. Other arrests last
night included assault with a deadly weapon for stabbing, parole
violation for robbery murder, outstanding warrant for attempted murder, assault

(10:55):
on federal law enforcement officer, and felony assault. Four more
homeless in casements were also removed during yesterday's reporting period.
To date, a total of forty eight homeless encampments have
been cleared in Washington, d C. By multi agency teams.
MPD patrol units are actively working with city officials to
locate in clear additional encampments and remove homeless residents off

(11:17):
of Washington streets. And despite fake narratives from the media, again,
a significant number of the arrests have been in high
crime areas of DC. In fact, nearly half of all
of the non illegal alien related arrests have occurred in
Wards seven and eight, the two wards that have the
highest number of violent crime, as well as homicides and

(11:39):
assaults with dangerous weapons last year. So while Democrats continue
to caudle violent criminals, President Trump and this administration are
focused on putting them behind bars and unapologetically standing up
for the safety of law abiding American citizens. And the
White House will continue to provide all of you with
the results of this operation in the days ahead.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
You listen to what she said, they went into the
most violent neighborhoods to protect the least among us. You also,
and if you listen to Democratic Party, they're obsessed with
black lives matter. If I remember correctly, they even painted
a street with Black Lives Matter on it, the mayor

(12:21):
of DC making sure it was headed straight to the
White House. And so why wouldn't you advocate for more
law enforcement? Now the liberal media narrative has been well, actually,
things are incredibly safe in DC.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
They're so much better than.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
They were when they had a quote bad year in
twenty twenty three, when we now know that there may
be massive lives have been told to us in twenty
twenty four and twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
What am I talking about?

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Insert the DC police union chairman who's now exposing saying
there's a very good chance, based on what they've seen
that the number who were deliberately manipulated to make crime
look like it was lower than it actually was in DC.
Another Democrat cover up, caring more about faking the numbers

(13:12):
than fighting crime. Listen to what the DC union police
chairman had to say on Fox News Channel.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Can you confirm for us that there have been police
officers and detectives and members of law enforcement in DC
who on the scene of crimes have been told don't
write that one down, or don't add that to the list,
or put that down as a more minor offense.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (13:41):
That's one of the chief complaints of our members when
we go around and talk to them, is that they
respond to the scenes of these violent crimes, and inevitably
you'll have a captain or a commander or sometimes a
lieutenant show up on the scene and advise them to
take a report for a lesser offense. One of the
things that we see them do often is sometimes they'll
be shooting or a stabbing, and if the victim is

(14:02):
uncooperative with the police, which is not uncommon in some
areas of the city. They'll be directed to take an
injured person to the hospital report, which is not even
a crime at all.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
It's an incident report.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
Sometimes you'll have a robbery, it'll be reported as a theft.
Other times you'll have burglaries that are reported as unlawful
entry or thefts. This is something that's been unfortunately part
and parcel of the police department for some time, and
we're very skeptical that these crime stats are accurate.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
That's extraordinary. What is the motivation? Why are these commanders
or higher ups arriving on the scene during apprehensions and
telling police officers to indicate something other than what actually
happened at the scene.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
Well, the only explanation you give me to keep the
crime stats down because politically that's expedient for the police
department and elected officials in the district.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
I mean, let's go back to how we got here, which.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
Is that in twenty twenty, the Dccity Council passed the
Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Act, which was a sweeping
piece of legiac designed to hamstring police officers to reduce
the size scope and responsibilities of police officers. In addition,
it also prevented us from holding criminals accountable even when
they're convicted of crimes. And so now here we are
five years later, the police department, with an authorized strength

(15:16):
of four thousand sworn members, we only have three and eighty,
leaving us with over eight hundred vacancies for the position
a police officer. And in order to make up for
that gap, the police department uses two million hours of
mandatory overtime to cover the demand for police officers. And
so because of that, crime has skyrocketed in the district.
And one of the things that we think is going

(15:37):
on in the police department, which who knows how high
up that those directors are coming from, is to make
sure that these crime stats are reported in the most
favorable way possible.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
I mean, what you're saying obviously substantiates what we heard
from President Trump. He said they were opening an investigation
and that he didn't believe because what happened. I don't
have to tell you. I'm speaking to the audience at large,
but when present and Trump said he wanted to bring
a national guard. All we heard from many quarters in
the media and in leadership in Washington was this is ridiculous.

(16:08):
Our numbers are lower than they've been in a long
time in Washington, DC. We don't need National Guard presence
on our streets. I mean, this sounds very, very egregious.
This is lying to the people at the constituents of Washington,
d C. And lying to the federal government about what
your numbers really are.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Well, you're right, Martha, it is a crime under DC Code.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
It would be false swearing and it would be false reporting,
and those are statutes in the DC Code that make
it illegal to do that, to false by police reports
or to change the data. So if the DOJ is
in fact investigating, I hope they do, and if they
find that somebody was intentionally manipulating the data, they should
be held accountable. It's a crime in the District of Columbia,
and frankly, it's a disservice to the police department, it's

(16:50):
a disservice to the city, and most of all, it's
a disservice to the victims whose police reports are not
being properly handled and we're not dedicating the proper resources
to the crimes that they've been victims of. So something
needs to change here, and this is an important issue.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
So let's just go over the DC crime stats. Now,
DC crime since the announcement of federal control versus the
seven day prior numbers, forty six percent is how much
they're down when it comes to robberies. Six percent down
when it comes to carjacking, eighty three percent down for
car theft, twenty one percent, violent crime, twenty two percent down,

(17:28):
property crime, six percent of all crimes.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
This is unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
And now the Justice Department is investigating whether the DC
police deliberately manipulated crime data. The police chief also saying
this about DC crime under the Democrats to the Republicans.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
The criminal justice system here in the District of Columbia
is broken. Every aspect of it is broken, whether that's policing, prosecution,
judges and trials, sentencing and supervision, all of it is broken.
And you can trace every aspect of it back to
a piece of legislation that was passed by the council.
They have destroyed policing, they have destroyed prosecutions, they have

(18:10):
destroyed the way that the courts are allowed to operate,
and they've destroyed our ability to sentence criminals to sentences
that are commensurate with the crimes they've committed. And so
the only way to fix this holistically is to go
back and look at all of this legislation that the
Council passed it back in twenty twenty when there was
all of this anti police rhetoric and work to undo that.
I know from my experiences the DC Council will never

(18:32):
do that on their own.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
And so what we're hoping over.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
The course of the next thirty days is that whether
that's the White House, whether that's these federal law enforcement agencies,
whether that's Congress, that people get an insight into exactly
how the system got so broken, because the only way
to fix it is if we can get rid of
that legislation. And my main concern is that thirty days
are going to go by, all of these folks are
going to go up about their merry way, and we're
still going to be stuck with all this bad law.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
We're only going to be stuck with bad laws. Remember this,
Remember what the Democratic Party is doing. They're not actually
trying to fight crime. They just want Donald Trump to
be a failure, even if it means Americans dying. You
may remember during the campaign, Donald Trump said that if
you elected him, he was going to look into voter

(19:20):
election integrity, and he was wanting to get rid of
mail in ballots. Now that has made the left lose
their minds. Why because we have now witnessed even recently
local elected officials stuffing the ballot box. It happened to
be the mailbox with mail in ballots that obviously were
not from the people that they were setting them in

(19:41):
on their behalf. Well, now Donald Trump has pledged to
end mail in ballots and voting machines ahead of the
twenty twenty six midterms. Making big news with the announcement,
President Trump announcing he intends to sign an executive order
banning the use of mail in ballots and electronic voting
machines in federaltions sat in the stage for a fierce

(20:02):
political and legal battle ahead of the twenty twenty six midterms. Now,
this move, Trump argued, is quote necessary to restore public
confidence in American elections, which he says have been plagued
by fraud, mismanagement, and manipulation since the rapid expansion of
vote by mail and the widespread adoption of computerized voting systems.

(20:25):
Quote I am going to lead a movement to get
rid of mail in ballots. And also, while we're at it,
highly inaccurate, very expensive, and seriously controversial voting machines, Trump
wrote in a true social post elections. By the way,
the United States are primarily run by state governments, not Washington.
Legal experts are noting that there could be a real

(20:46):
problem and a fight, obviously, a fight that Donald Trump
has no problem having, and that fight would be over
constitution and who actually has the authority. Yes, the Constitution
gives states the authority to administer elections, with Congress, not
the President, holding limited power to quote regulate them. One
liberal law professor at New York University put it this way, quote,

(21:08):
the president has no power constitutionally to dictate two states
the manner in which they conduct national elections. Still Donald
Trump and says the states act as agents of the
federal government when conducting elections and therefore must follow the
presidential direction. That claim is clearly a test that the
president's more than happy to happen, and that's exactly why

(21:29):
he's wanting to do the executive order. He obviously is
planning on it going to court now. Conservative liberals have
long raised alarms about electronic voting machines.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Let me say that again.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Conservatives and liberals have been raising alarms about the electronic
voting machines, which rely on proprietary software and digital tabulation
of the votes. In fact, critics on both sides of
the aisle have actually argued the same thing, that these machines,
produced by a handful of private companies, are vulnerable to hacking,

(22:00):
miss programming, or even deliberate tampering. Now, while election officials
insist that voting machines are more accurate than handcounts, skeptics
point to high profile eras in passed elections, such as
miss reported totals and technical breakdowns that left voters frustrated
wondering if their votes were even counted. In fact, Democrats

(22:22):
have been critical of electronic voting machines and have at
times raised significant concerns about their reliability and also security.
A great example of this is in Georgia, leading Democrats
criticize the state's decision to use dominion ballot marking devices,
arguing they were vulnerable to tampering and lack the transparency

(22:44):
of hand marked paper ballots. Lawsuits were filed seeking to
block their use with election security advocates pointing to risks
of hacking and also just basic software flaws. In fact,
the twenty twenty HBO documentary Killed Chain, the Cyber War
and America's Elections highlighted potential vulnerabilities and computerized voting, featuring

(23:05):
interviews with security experts who warned the machines could be
manipulated and most shockingly, leave elections open to interference. Together,
democratic lawmakers, advocacy groups, and investigative media have question whether
technology base voting undermines public trust. Let me say that again,
this is democratic lawmakers that have been doing this. They

(23:28):
were also pressing for greater reliance on paper ballots and
robust auditing. So why now would Democrats be against what
they've been advocating for. It actually comes down to one
simple issue. They hate Donald Trump, and they also don't
want admit that maybe Donald Trump is right about a
lot of this issue when it comes to election integrity.

(23:50):
As for the President, he says he wants transparency. He
wants hand counted paper ballots, even if it's slower, to
make sure that our elections are meaningful, that people feel
like their ballots are being casted and not canceled out
by a hacker or a computer. Yes, it may even
cost a little bit more money, but is it worth

(24:10):
it to know that your vote counts. That's exactly what
the President's saying, and the legal fight he's wanting to
have don't forget Share this podcast please with your family
