Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let me first start with just talking about how incredible
it was to see Donald Trump on stage and the
reception inside of that arena. I was there for what
I would refer to as a front row seat to history.
I also saw the president in a much smaller setting
(00:24):
right before, about an hour and a half before, no
less than that, thirty minutes before the convention started, and
he went to his seat. And I want to first
start by saying, Donald Trump is a different person right now.
And I want to be clear, I don't mean that
in a bad way. This is something that has happened
(00:48):
because of the shooting and its perspective faith, a demeanor
that is very different. As I watched him speak to
the smaller group in a different tone, in a somber tone,
in a focused tone. I leaned over to cinder Ted Cruz.
(01:09):
I said, he's different. This is different. And if you
watched the first twenty five minutes of the speech that
he gave, he was different. And then he started to
get a little bit of his campaign groove back. There
were people that criticized the speech last night, y it's
too long. And I said this when he gave the speech,
(01:31):
or afterwards, when I was doing commentary on Fox, and
I said, you know, if you got shot five days
ago and survived an assassination attempt, you'd have a lot
to say too. I think I didn't mind it all.
The length of the speech, I as it was described
(01:54):
to me by one and I thought was a great analogy.
The first twenty five thirty minutes was like church on
Easter Sunday. It's a sermon that is to the masses.
It is a sermon to people that maybe only come
to church one time a year, and it's a packed house.
And then the second part of that speech, the long part,
(02:14):
was Sunday school with all the regular attenders. He gave
a clear message to the American people about what this
administration is going to look like, the Trump administration number one,
and why you should take a look at the agenda
that he has laid out and look at your life
(02:35):
and ask yourself questions about safety in this country, safety abroad,
economic issues. These are issues that affect the American people.
Many Americans don't feel safe in their towns anymore, and
the cities they live in, they don't feel like their
government has their back on those issues, and they're prioritizing
(02:59):
I legal immigrants, criminals ahead of them because of radical
das and a wide open southern border. You look at
economic issues, it's very clear that many Americans believe that
bidnomics has truly hurt their family. They's destroyed their purchasing power,
it has destroyed their ability to really focus on a
(03:23):
future that looks brighter, and now it's a future that
just looks like it's survival that has changed. And so
there were so many people, millions of millions that were
going to tune in, not just because they're maybe willing
to give Donald Trump another chance, but also because they
wanted to hear what he had to say about the
assassination attempt on his life and being shot. I think
(03:49):
Donald Trump did an amazing job because most people don't
watch the entire speech. That's just the reality of TV
viewing habits. A lot of people that tuned in that
maybe wouldn't have normally tuned in. They watched ten minutes,
fifteen minutes more than they would have watched normally. They
would have gotten the highlights the next day on social
(04:09):
media on TikTok, on Instagram, on Facebook, etc. On x
they said and listened to a very somber and a
very different president of the United States of America by
the name of Donald Trump. I think many people that
watched this speech were watching out of curiosity to see
(04:32):
what he was going to say, how he was going
to act, but also because they have seen what's been
going on with the Biden campaign day after day. Now
there's a civil war that's broken out in the Democratic Party,
and that makes people want to watch what the other
side is saying and doing. It's human nature. You then
(04:53):
start hearing hours before Donald Trump's going to take the
stage that Joe Biden's probably not going to be the candidate.
Even more people tune in because now this is like
a sporting event. It's like one team screwing up. What's
the other team going to do in response? You combine
(05:15):
all that together, and I think what Donald Trump said
in that first twenty five minutes of a speech was
truly the most important speech that he had ever made.
And then, as many of those people were more than
likely tuning out, he started talking to his bas He
(05:38):
started talking to the faithful conservative voter, evangelical voter. I
think the program last night was phenomenal. I think the
convention was unbelievable. It was the best Republican convention I've
ever seen with a party that is unified, and I
(05:58):
think this is going to be another reason why it's
going to be very hard to beat Donald Trump. The
other big story that is going to have massive ramifications
on this election is the reality that apparently Joe Biden
is starting to understand that he is not going to
(06:23):
be the nominee, that they believe that he doesn't have
a chance to win, and they are convincing him of that.
Reporting coming out now is at the big five families
of the Democratic mafia, the Clintons, the Obama's, the Schumer family,
the Pelosi family, and the new Jeffrey's family on the
(06:46):
House side, leadership of the Democratic Party have all coalesced
with the media and the donors. So that's seven entities
working together to force him out. I've been I'm told
by sources that I trust that Joe Biden is still
holding on because he wants to make sure that he
(07:08):
gets a sweetheart deal, a golden parachute that if he
does come out and say I'm not going to, you know,
be the guy I'm going to finish out this term,
but I'm not going to be the guy that What
actually would happen then is that whoever gets this job,
(07:29):
they're going to agree to give immunity to my family.
Hunter Biden's not going to go to jail, My brother's
not going to go to jail, and I'm not going
to be prosecuted or any other family member. He wants
to guarantee from what I've been told, and I believe
this to be true, that nobody with the last name
(07:50):
Biden is ever going to go to jail because of
the actions of the Biden crime family. And he has
leverage and the Democratic Party is more than willing to
give him that. The question is, because there's going to
have to be a trust factor, do you trust Kamala
Harris to not screw you? Because if Kamala Harris becomes
(08:15):
the president and he decides to step aside and not
take the nomination, he's got to trust that a woman
in his entire career has been basically documented with screwing
the people closest to or no pun intended, is going
to be trustworthy enough to take a hit in the
(08:39):
polls to protect Joe Biden because it's not going to
help Kamala Harris or any other Democrat that becomes the president.
If they did become the president, hypothetically, it's not going
to raise their approval rating if they immediately say, oh,
and by the way, here's all these convictions again, Hunter
(09:00):
or Joe or his brother or anybody else, and we're
giving a blanket immunity, and they're all going to be
all sins of the Biden crime family are forgiven. That
is not good politics. So could you promise that and
not deliver on it? Absolutely? Do I believe that Kama
Harris could lie to the face of Joe Biden. Yes,
(09:27):
I absolutely do, which is the reason why I think
he hasn't dropped out yet. It's the reason why the
family has isolated him. They've isolated him politically, they've isolated
him in the name of COVID. He has gone into
complete and utter hibernation from all reality and the Democratic
Party they know this. So they've got to sweeten the pot.
(09:51):
They've got to figure out a way to convince a senile, paranoid,
all Tzheimer's dementia ridden individual that they can be trustworthy,
trustworthy enough that he can walk away without having the
ability to pardon his son. Because there's nothing to pardon
(10:13):
him for yet because his son, being an idiot, didn't take,
you know, try to take a deal that was too good,
and now is fighting in these court cases instead of
wrapping them up. I understand how hard it is to
deal with someone that has Alzheimer's dementia. If you've ever
dealt with somebody with Alzheimer's dementia, they dig in. They're irrational,
(10:36):
they're not willing to usually compromise on things like, hey,
I need to take away your car keys. Hey, you
don't need to go out alone. Right, You're not going
to tell me that I can't go shopping by myself.
You're not going to tell me I can't drive. They
dig in. So I think you're also dealing with that
aspect of Alzheimer's dementia with this clearly mentally incapacitated individual
(11:00):
and that paranoid individual who believes that now his entire
party with good reason. By the way, I don't think
it's paranoid. I think it's reality has turned on him
and thrown him to the wolves. I've never seen anything
like this in the Democratic Party, where these mafia style families,
the Biden, you know, the Biden's used to be one
(11:23):
of the Big Five. They're not anymore. They're on the outs.
Democratic Party have no need, no use for the Biden family.
In fact, you could argue that if the Biden family
went down for all of their corruption, right, all of
their corruption, that the Democratic Party would actually benefit from
(11:45):
crucifying them, acting like that's not a part of the
Democratic machine. Nancy Pelosi once acted like she's separate from
this corruption. The Clintons and the Obamas won't act like
they're sep of the Biden corruption. The Democratic Party in
general wants to act like they're separate from the Biden corruption.
(12:08):
The members of the House and the Senate and the
Democratic Party don't want to be tied to a man
who is this corrupt. If it's all coming out, So
now you understand why the machine has turned against Joe
Biden is in essence, kicking him out of the White
House and out of the Democratic monarchy is probably the
(12:33):
best way I can describe it. A guy that's been
there for forty plus years is now being fed to
the political wolves. The media, by the way, they're all
on board with this. Every single member of the media
in the Democratic you know, media, however you want to
describe them, every single one of them, every single one
(12:59):
of them is throwing Joe Biden under the bus. They
want to get rid of him. Even his own cabinet
is throwing Joe Biden out. They're leaking everywhere his staffers
within the White House, and they're almost trying to manifest
(13:20):
destiny this. I think they think if they say it
loud enough, say it often enough, leak it enough times
where the fever pitch continues to grow, that Joe Biden's
going to drop out, Joe Biden's going to drop out,
they can somehow turn that leak into a reality, which
which is a moment of caution as well. Joe Biden
(13:41):
could just say screw all y'all. None of you are loyal,
You're all scum, and if I'm going down, you're all
going down with me. In other words, all of you
in the party are gonna you know, I'm gonna hurt
all of you while you're hurting me. This is going
to be the biggest political story going into the Democratic Convention,
(14:06):
and the fact that it's August and we still may
not know who Donald Trump's running against is completely and
utterly insane. It has been a very interesting week in
the political world. It is a week that I was
sitting on set at Fox News Channel last night as
(14:29):
the President's speech ended, and I'm like, can we just
take a moment and just think about what all has happened.
We've had a disastrous president of debate that then called
for the Democratic Party to demand that their candidate stepped down.
We then had an assassination attempt less than a week ago.
(14:52):
We then had a Vice President of the United States
of America who was selected, then had have the news
that there's a very very good chance that Joe Biden's
going to step down as president. And then we have
the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump,
take the stage to accept the Republican nomination. On top
(15:15):
of the fact that we also have a Secret Service
director defies logic and the facts about what happened with
the assassination tempt on the President of the United States,
former President Donald Trump, and still has her job. That's
(15:37):
all in like days of one another. Joining me now
to talk about this is Senator Marshall Blackburn, who was
on that Senator's Only call that I have heard a
lot about. You heard about it in the last hour
with Senator Cruz and a call that was maybe one
of the most BS calls I've ever heard about, where
(16:00):
they were said you could ask questions, please hit a
number and you're in Q. No real conservatives got to
ask questions on that call, And so senators at the
Republican Convention took matters in their own hand. And the
Secret Service Director was at the convention, and in a
very very amazing, awesome turn of events, senators decided, Okay,
(16:25):
we're gonna start asking questions here and now since you
wouldn't answer our questions on the call, Senator you and
the video of you asking questions of the Secret Service
director has gone viral as it should have one. How
did you guys find out she was at the convention
and we're able to check her down to then ask
(16:45):
her questions which she refused to answer in a shocking
display of just total screw you guys, You're just senators.
I'm in the Biden administration. I don't have to answer you.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Well, good morn then, and yes, it was really quite
an odd turn of events. And I had gone into
the suite where Susie Wiles and Trump's team was. They
had invited me to come in, and I told Susie,
I said, you know, I want to just tell you
about this call and what we heard, because many of
(17:24):
us were in the queue, and of course those of
us are conservatives in the Senate, Ted Mike Lee, Rick Scott,
several of us were on the text thread and I said,
they're saying.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Nobody else is in the queue. I'm in the queue,
and then others started saying, so am I so in
and we realized they were cutting the call off, and we.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Had questions because the director and her deputy and FBI
Director Ray and his deputy had been on the call
and they were providing us timeline information. So we work
through that. I go up to the suite. I'm talking
(18:11):
to some of Trump's team and someone says, well, the
Secret Service director is here in the building and in
a suite, and I had just seen seen John Barrosso.
I knew he had also been in the queue and
couldn't get his question in. So Barrosso and then Kramer
(18:34):
and Langford came by and we said, well, let's just
go ask her if she will give us an answers announcence.
We got cut off, and of course that's the video
that so many people have seen. We went into this suite,
We introduced ourselves and asked if she would take a
minute and answer the questions. She did not want to
(18:56):
do that. We laid out our questions and she said, well,
now it's not the time and place. I offered that
We moved to a quiet place we knew where there
was a private space the floor below us. We could
have visited and gotten some answers, because the American people
(19:17):
want to know. We want to know things we're hearing
on social media. What is true and false? The timeline?
Why did you find a suspicious person, loose track of them,
find them again, identify the person as a potential threat,
then allowed the president to go on stage knowing you
(19:39):
had a potential threat. Why would you do that? You know, Ben,
It is questions like that, was this something that was
a mistake and a myth in the advance plan, in
the operational plan? What is the problem here? Because the
(20:02):
Secret Service has one job, and that job is to
protect their protectee, and we would not want this to
happen to anyone that they are there to protect. And
of course we had found out after the assassination attempt
(20:23):
that there was also the Iranian threat on President Trump.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
So let's pause there. Will you explained for people? Let
me ask you this, Will you explain the Iranian threat
real quick? Because it has not been explained well by
the media because obviously the attack overshadowed the Iranian threat.
Can you bring listeners up to date on what the
(20:52):
Iranian threat was so that people understand how significant that
was stand alone from any other threat and the shoot
that tried to assassinate Trump on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yes, and what we had heard. We don't have all
the detail yet, but from others that the Iranian government
has supposedly hired or is trying to assassinate you know,
we've all heard Secretary Pompeo they are after him and
(21:29):
this is all retribution from what we hear and know
so far. And again there Ben, we don't have a
lot of the detail on this, but it has to
do with a sola money and his exec his killing
and him being taken out, and these are actions you
(21:54):
can't allow somebody to be walking around when you know
there is that kind of threat. But we wanted to
get more detailed. We had questions, We have answers that
are owed to the American people. They want to know.
I hear from tennesseean's every single day, every single day,
(22:16):
wanting to know what really has transpired, Who is really
in charge? Why would they have allowed President Trunk to
go on that stage? Why did they not play a
few more minutes of music, put him in a car
shield and protect him. And the fact that all of
(22:39):
these thousands of people were put in danger, and of
course we have one dead too, still severely injured from Saturday,
why would they have allowed these people to be in
harm's way. I've heard from so many Tennesseeans who have said, Marshall,
(23:04):
what about public events? And I've got friends who are
Democrats who want to go to political rallies, but they're saying,
who's doing the security on these rallies? Who's the doing
security on public events? And it causes that fear, and
it causes questioning, and it causes people to say, hey,
(23:29):
wait a minute, the Secret Service let somebody get within
one hundred and fifty yards of the former president with
a clear line of sight. They are just astounded that
this actually transpired.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Let me ask you this because I said this last
night on post debate or or post convention, I should
say recap is what does it take to get fired
from your job? And the Biden administration, I mean a
colossal screw up where you give excuses that the slope
(24:10):
was too dangerous for the Secret Service, even though the
slope of the roof the shooter was shooting from was
the same exact damn slope as the is the cyper
team that took him out was on. The excuses have
been I think disgusting to the American people, and the
lack of just accountability and oversight from this administration when
(24:35):
you guys have questions is also disgusting. But like, what
does it take to get fired? The President United States
of America at the end of the day, at the
bare minimum, just talking about facts, got shot from one
hundred and sixty yards away, which is less than two
tenths of what the cyper team's train out to protect
(24:56):
the president at public events from a rooftop with a
direct line of sight, and had a subject that they
then knew was out there and couldn't find them, and
still put a present on stage. If that doesn't get
you fired, center, is there anything that you can do
in this administration to get fired?
Speaker 2 (25:19):
I don't think there's anything. They don't fire people. They
moved them around, and they elevate them. And when you
look at this and the fact that they knew an
hour out they had a suspect. At five point fifty one,
they identified the suspect as a potential threat. That was
after they lost him and found him again. And then
(25:43):
at five point fifty three the sharpshooters were notified. And
then they still put Donald Trump on the stage at
six o'clock and allowed him to be on that stage
knowing there was that potential threat. I don't no. You know,
Joe Biden should have called her in that Saturday night
(26:03):
and said you're fired, and you've got to turn over
everything you know, and you've got to explain this, and
you've got to explain this agency. If I were Joe Biden,
for my own protection, I would want to know those answers.
But you know, then, the thing is when she said
she would not answer our question, she didn't think it
(26:24):
was the time and place. You have to say, when
is the time and place? When is the time and
place to give the American people their answers? And she
said I'm leaving them. Well, you know, what there are
a lot of people that wanted to know they were
in a safe and secure environment. And then when she
started to run from Hunt, when she started to run
(26:48):
from Punt, you know, it was just astounding. You know,
she should have planted her feet and said, yes, let's
step to the side, let me answer your questions. We
do have to get to the bottom of this. But
she did not do that. She chose to run.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Well, last question for you, and it just shows I
think the chaos that is around this administration. Even today,
as we wrap up the convention, you get word that
all flights grounded for American Delta United due to a
global IT outage. And we're not going to get an
(27:25):
answer from this administration, a straight answer, even on things
like that. There is no trust in our government right
now when it comes to safety or security. Now, to
be clear, this to be private, we don't know. But
do I trust this administration to tell me the truth
if it's a hacking? Do I trust them when it
comes to protecting the president? Do I trust them when
(27:46):
they tell me about the health of the President of
United States of America. The answer is on all of
these different issues that are completely separate, I don't trust
our government. I don't trust the FBI to do the investigation.
I don't trust the FBI to tell me a straight
answer as they're doing this investigation on the assassination attempt.
And it's because so many different fronts we've been lied to.
(28:10):
Do you have any faith in the leadership in these
different areas within our government? Because the American people, I think,
say whatever they're telling us, we assume they're lying to
us now, even on non political issues, whether it's an
IT outage at the airport or whether it's an assassination
attempt on the President of the United States, And.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
You've just hit on it. This administration, their priority is
not the people. It is power that they want to control.
And when you look at this Secret Service director who
to she came to the convention to hold a cocktail
party in a luxury suite to thank the security partners.
(28:58):
So donors were more important to her than a group
of four senators saying we're glad you're here. Could we
have five minutes of your time to get answers for
the people that pay your salary and people wanting to
know these answers. Now, think about that she is in
(29:19):
a luxury suite. She wanted us to leave so that
she could continue the evening and not disrupt the evening
for the partners. Everybody there should have wanted and probably
wanted to know what happened in Pennsylvania, that you could
have that snipe, that assassin that close to the president.
(29:44):
But this administration, it is all about power, It is
all about control. It is about the elites. It is
not about the people. And then I think that's why
the American people do not trust in the leadership of
these institutions, not the rank and file, but the leadership,
(30:07):
because they all have a political agenda aimen to that center.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Always a pleasure. Be safe on the road. I know
everybody's trying to get out and the flights are crazy.
Thanks for coming on and I'm sure we'll talk to
you again real soon.
