Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Best Bits of the week with Morgan. It's Listener
Q and daytime. We're Morgan in a show member answer
almost all your questions. We are here in Listener A,
Q and A time. Abby is joining me.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Hello, Abby, Hello.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Stephanie from Woodale wanted to shout out you because she
loves your singing.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yes, And I'm also going to look at this because
I wanted to make sure there was not any others
that came through as we were recording, and I just
now remembered that I wanted to do that, So right,
you guys are seeing my brain work. We did answer
some questions about the Scooba Steve Abby situation over on
part one. If you want to go check that out.
Anna says my favorite best bits, and then also, yeah,
(00:44):
that looks good for right now. I think I have
everything else. I like to double checks go.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, you never know.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Have our boyfriends met? I love you both. You're such
beautiful girls. That's from Leah, so kind of starting out
with a shout out and a question.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
No they haven't, they haven't. I I've met yours and
I've met yours, but I haven't met now have we
not been at it's crazy. I guess there haven't been
that many like events we've both been at.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
No. He so he met you and Scuba Steve that night.
That was at the KINGE. Brown concert. Yes, And then
he's met Lunchbox at the softball celebrity game.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
How'd that go?
Speaker 1 (01:19):
It was actually fine, cordial, and I already prepared him.
I was like, don't give anything away, don't say anything
about anything because Lunchbox will use it. Yeah, so just
ask him questions.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
He did exactly that. Oh good, he's learning already. Yeah,
and I don't think he's met anybody else yet. That's
the extent. But also we haven't been anywhere, we haven't
had any events, work events, we haven't had any concerts
besides the King Brown one, right, So there wouldn't be
really a setting for any of them to have met
yet unless we purposely do it, which you know, we
spend a lot of time together at work, but I.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Never Yeah, and I'm yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
What were you going to say?
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Because he lives not really in Nashville. We're a little
bit outside of Nashville, so sometimes on weekends I'm just
like totally out of the Nashville scene, out there in
the country kind.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Of sense you and Ray.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Want to live in a country.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
House with a country house. Wait, yeah, there it is.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Anymore races planned for the year, Elisa in Illinois?
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Any races?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah? I think she needs like marathons or running.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
No, I want to. I want to branch out of
Nashville because I only do that Nashville half. And I
always talk to people and they're like, oh, yeah, there's
like so many other ones, so I need to do that,
But no, there's not. I haven't really been running because
it's so hot. When it's this hot, I cannot run.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Do you run inside when it's this hot.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I don't really like treadmill running. I can do like
two or three miles, but I'm like, oh, I just
want to get outside.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
So like summer comes and you just stop.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
All kind of yeah stand extra Yeah, not boxing or anything.
I have gym memberships, don't go. I did run. I
canceled it. My title box.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I was gonna give you so much crap for that one.
Did you cancel it?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Ridiculous?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (03:01):
It was probably like a year later.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Abby, I was in investments. Ever. Abby and I went
in to box together one time, and she decided to
sign up for a membership that day, which fine, that's cool.
She never used it.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
It's all inclusive like the unlimited.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah, she went for like the top one, not even
just like a month to month not she went balls
to the wall and then never used it.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
So remember, Well, like earlier, you were talking about how
I'm not impulsive, like I'm very like slow burn. I'm like, no,
there's stuff that I am just go.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
You are impulsive about shopping.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yes, yeah, yeah, spending money?
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Spending money, yes, which is funny because I did have
a question, what is your favorite store to shop at?
Lisa and Indiana.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Ooh, my favorite store, the one that I spend most
of my time at is Target.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Mm hmm okay, Tarage if you will. Do you feel
like you spend the most money there too?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yes? Do you have a red card? Do you have
a red card?
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Oh? Yes, of course not off five percent off.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
My problem is I have every store I go to
the app on my phone, so like I just look online,
Like if I'm bored somewhere I'm in a waiting room,
I'll just get on there and see like what sales
they have, And I'm like, oh, my gosh, I need
that sin or you know, order and then I go
pick it up. It's just so easy. It's so bad.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Does your boyfriend know about your shopping problem? Yes, he does.
How does he feel about that? He is not a shopper,
he's a financial advisor, so about tracks?
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yes, he is very good with his money, does not
buy stupid things at all, like never, and it is
something that he that is a problem.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
And he's trying to work on you with.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
He's like, it's your money, you can do whatever you want,
but like, why do you need that? You already have
like five black shirts? Why do you need another one?
And I'm like, because it's cute and it's on sale. Yeah,
it's I'm really trying to work on it because it's
it's problem, say Target, I like to look around to you.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Do we have talked about this also, I'm very proud
of you that you can at least cancel your membership.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yes, but I think that I do that so that
I can. I'm like, oh, well, I'm paying all this money,
I'll go and then I don't, And I'm like, you're
wasting money.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
How many times have you done that with something? Have
you ever bought a membership or unlimited of something and
you actually used it.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I don't do it that often, Like I like Peacock,
Like the streaming services, okay, I use them, HB like
max Disney Plus you use. Those are all subscription services
I use. I got like this video editing app on
my phone that's like one hundred and twenty a month
a year. Haven't used it since?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Did you cancel it? No?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Okay, I just got a notification today.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
You need to get one of those ass where it's like,
look at all of my subscriptions or things that I have.
Isn't there like Rocket money or something to look at
all the things that you buy yearly, monthly or something.
You need to do that.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, And I'd be curious to know what you.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Were all buying that you don't know about.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
You know, you're so right, it's so bad, like during
COVID even like the why I had a Y membership too,
and I didn't go for all of COVID like a
year and a half.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Why do you keep buying gym memberships when you don't go?
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I like, I don't know, you literally run outside? Why
do you buy these? Because I used to love it?
Like I was such a gym rat, like I loved
it all the time, like through high school, college when
I first moved here, and then for some reason it stopped.
And I'm just like, no, get back on that. And
i just think, if I have a membership, I will Okay,
(06:39):
if you're going to do.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
That, you got to do like month to month abby, Yeah,
you don't stop buying like the unlimited they're like, oh yeah,
give me the year. Yes, they're small.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
I have Planet Fitness because it's really affordable, and I
do go. I do go there, Okay, because it's super
close to home. That's fine.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I feel like every time, there's every time, and.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm dating a financial and I still am crazy with money.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
You're not crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
But that's the thing too. Once you get married, that's
something that I'm gonna have to work on.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, that's why you're trying to work on it now
so it's not a problem later. It's better late than never.
And I'm proud of you for canceling your membership.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
I should not be left with a credit card. I
should just get it taken away.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
That's that could be a strategy if you pay it
off completely and then you're like Okay, no more credit
card for a few months, so I can just use
my debit card and that's the money that I have.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
The thing about that is, yeah, I don't overspend. I
don't ever rack up like debt.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
It's a credit card that gets you in trouble.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Though, Well, no, I don't with that.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
But that you think, oh, well, I can just spend
this money. I'll worry about it. I'll pay it, but like, yeah,
I do worry about it. But yeah, invisible money correct. Yeah,
it's easy to reply that plastic girl math. Yeah, this
is like Pfessions of a Chocoholic that movie. Did you
ever see that movie? No, because you're not much of it?
You should watch it? Maybe don't give you some perspective.
(08:06):
It's ay Me Adams, I believe No. Uh, she's the
other she's the redhead that looks like Amy Adams, the one.
Oh Confessions of a Yeah, it was in a two
thousand and nine film. Really uh huh? And her name
is Isa Fisher.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Oh okay, yeah, oh I really I like her.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
You should watch it. Oh so good. I feel like
it'll help you.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Maybe it's embarrassing that maybe it will like I'll be like, oh, gosh,
that's me and that's bad. Like you need to stop.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
You're not bad and you're not crazy, but this is
definitely a habit you should break for the sake of
your life and for your relationship.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
In my closet, also in space, all of it my drawers.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Last question here and then we'll take a break. Do
you guys still hang out with Hillary? Hailey from Ohio
I do, I do if Abby kind of came on
towards the end of Hillary's I don't know that you
guys were on that at the same time, were you.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, yeah, you were like a year Okay. Oh I
love her. Oh my gosh. When I run into her
at event, that makes me so happy because I love her,
but I haven't seen her in so long.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yes, yeah, her and I still hang out. We went
on a double date the other night you did with
her and her fiance and my boyfriend and I and
her Wedding's coming up, so we'll be going to that. Yeah,
that's so exciting, very exciting time. So yes, I still
keep up with her. She did an episode with me
for my podcast not too long ago, a couple of
months I think, And yeah, she predicted her I guess
(09:25):
it has been a couple months because she predicted her proposal,
which that's wild, that is really big gauged literally a
month later. She knew it was coming when it was
coming too.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Oh my gosh, no way, yeah no, Like, I still
talk to her. I was in the classroom with her,
and I loved her. She is probably one of my
favorite people to work with. Like, I was really sad
when she was leaving, Like she was always so kind
but always like listen you know, and just oh my gosh,
I miss her.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yes, oh yes, we love her. Okay, we're gonna take
a quick break. We'll be our back. Cita would like
to know if we want babies of our own, which
we did have a very extensive conversation about relationships and
stuff in part one, if you want to check that out.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Yeah, we talked about me answering this what about you.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Well, you can give your short answer here so they
can listen to the part one.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yes, I do.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
I do.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Probably like two, I would say, okay, and you have
two yes, my boyfriends two okay already, so then that
would be four. That's a lot.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Hey, big kid of big family, Big white pig, Event's
house all the things. Oh yeah, live in that mash
life right, Oh my gosh, I love that game. I
don't know. I go back and forth. Some days I do,
some days I don't, honestly, and I think with my
boyfriend now I can more confidently lean that I would
want them, But I don't know. I just I really
(10:47):
don't have a definitive answer. I think i'd be a
great mom, and I think I would be really good
at it, but I just don't know.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Do you guys have that conversation, Yeah, something.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
I feel the same way. We're both very much up
in the air. We could go either way. We can
have them or we cannot, and we'd both be okay
with that, and I think that becomes more of an
extensive conversation. I think both of us want to enjoy
our lives together, especially if it's going to be something
long term in the beginning, just us, and for how
long or what that looks like. Who knows. There's also
(11:22):
a possibility I can't have kids. I had posted something
about this on my Instagram, but I have endometriosis, so
there's a possibility that I can't. I don't know. I've
never looked into it because I've never been in a
place where I'm ready to have kids, so I might
have to explore different things, and if it comes down
to me having to do IVF for all of that,
I don't know that I would go down that route.
(11:44):
I think I'm open to adopting too. There's just like
so many different routes that could happen. When that time
finally comes, I'm like, Okay, yeah, I want to try.
So it makes it really hard for me to say
yes absolutely or no ever, because like sometimes they'll be
like I'm not having them, and I'm like, nah, I
kind of want one, and then I'll be like, yes,
(12:06):
I want to know, I don't want that. It's just
like it, I have so many different experience. I have
nieces and nephews, a lot of my friends have kids,
so I've just seen a lot of different variations of
what that can look like. And I think it makes
it hard to have a definitive.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Answer yeah, no, that would maybe. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
You just see a lot of things and you hear
a lot of stuff, and it kind of makes it
harder when you're the last one to do it. All right,
It's an advantage because you get a lot of the information,
but then your face was so much information that you
don't know how to make the right decision for you.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah, it's a lot, Yeah, it is a lot. But
my mom's always like, oh my gosh, it's like the
greatest thing I'll ever do in your life and stuff
like that. And I feel like that puts pressure on
people too, like you know, and like my friends that
keep having kids and I'm like, whoa, they love it,
you know, It's well, it's also a thing.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
I think there's people who are meant to have kids.
I think they are born like this is gonna be
something I will absolutely do, no question. And I think
you have a lot of people, especially now, it costs
a lot of money to have kids.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
The world is a little.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
You know, all over the place. So what's gonna happen.
What's that gonna look like when they're eighteen years old
and saving money? Heck, like you retiring and also taking
care of a kid for that, because there's so many
more pieces to that puzzle now then I think there
used to be like when we were born in the nineties, right,
oh yeah, And that's also a lot of my hesitation.
(13:32):
So I don't know, I think at the end of
the day. I would love to have them and I
would be a really good mom, But I just don't
know if that's what's in my cards or not.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Ye, which you don't have to right now, No, you know,
but that I goes through my head a lot, and
we talk about it a lot together, and I'm like,
what happens if we one day are like yes or
one day no.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Like what happens? Then it's like, oh, oh, we'll face
it when we get to it, because right now we
both feel the exact same way where we'd be happy
either way. And I think that's cool.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
No, that is that's awesome, because it's hard because I mean,
if you meet somebody that is like dead said, they're like, no,
I want to be a dad, that's hard, you know,
or other way around. Yeah, no, not, I do not
want them at all. So it's like that at least
is good that you're both on the same page about it.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
What is your ultimate career goal or have you met
it already?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Ooh my ultimate career goal. That's really hard because I
feel like I'm always in a place where I'm like
I want to do so much and I don't have
enough time to do it all, you know, Like I'm like,
oh I want to be a realtor. Oh I want
to be a singer. Oh I want to do this,
And it's like my dream, my dream dream dream would
(14:47):
be like a lady a like a group. That would
be like my ultimate dream.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
And there's still time to accomplish that if you want to.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah, it's just the whole, like networking and like meeting
other band you know people, it's like like their story
is crazy, like they met on like MySpace or something
I don't even know, you know, and then they saw
the other one like playing out and then they came
up to them. So I feel like everything is just
like so circumstantial and I don't really play out much.
(15:16):
So it's like, how is something like that gonna happen?
I need to start. I don't know. I'm in a
weird place right now.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Well it's it's meant to happen. It's going to regardless
of what your situation is right now. And if you
do go out and play one time, you might meet
somebody who's like, yeah, I've always thought about this, you
may try it. You know. Some of those things work
out because they're supposed to be regardless of everything you
put off. Yeah, this kind of goes along with that
whole invisible string theory. I mean.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
But honestly, like I just like love working in country
radio and like winning a CMA like as a part
of that. That's like a pretty cool, like bucket list
thing that I can say. I don't know, it's hard.
I just I know I wanted to live in Nashville
and work in country music. So I feel like part
of my goal like has been accomplished with what I'm
(16:04):
doing now. As far as like what I'm gonna do
next or what I'm going to continue to do. I
think about that all the time, especially like with a family,
you know, like thinking of that because I'm starting to
appo back way too. It's like this job would be
really hard, I feel like with kids. I don't know
how like everybody on the show does it. Honestly, I
(16:25):
just feel like that would be really hard, like for
me with the hours I work and stuff. So I'm
just constantly thinking of the future and what that holds.
I don't really know.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Well, and if you listen to part one, it's gonna
make a lot of sense. By Abby has a lot
of weight on her shoulders was a particular decision. This
is now all tracking.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yeah, just the hours.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Are like very abnormal even for like us and like
producers working behind the scenes compared to people on air.
It's just a lot more like at homework and behind
the scenes and you know, late nights and yeah, it's
just a lot that people don't really see. It's a
lot on my plate. I feel like I'm tired all
(17:06):
the time just because there's just a lot, because I'm
trying to balance like being with my boyfriend, his kids,
being there with them, but also like getting everything done
so very much.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
So yeah, I have thought about that too, that side
with kids. I'm like, what happens if I do get
pregnant because I don't have a backup here at the show,
like to do all our digital stuff. What happens if
my take maternity leave.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
I can't take all that on my plate right now.
I'm sorry, I can't do it.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
You shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I can try, you should.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
I can post a little bit that'll creep in you
know where I'm like, well, what does that even look like?
We don't have a blueprint for that. Yeah, so who knows?
What is yours?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Your goal?
Speaker 1 (17:46):
I feel like I accomplish it. This is something I
wanted to do. I wanted to be on a national
show of some capacity, and I also wanted to have
my own show, which I have with my podcast. And
I feel like both of those goals are what I
had and now esp actually i've gotten older, a lot
of those goals have changed from career to personal. I'd
love to whether it's run a rescue or create a
(18:12):
system to help with rescues and shelters, I would love
to do that. That would be my dream. Or travel
the world and help people see the world. Like I
love putting together itinerators, and I was like, how do
you like not put itineries? You can totally sell these
and do this stuff for people. I was like, I would.
(18:33):
I would love that, so that would be fun. And like,
I also love putting together flowers, so I would love
to own a flower shop that also sells ice cream
or something like that. I don't know. I just feel
like a lot of it has shifted into these more
creative personal loves now that I have accomplished this one.
This was the This literally was the dream goal, and
(18:56):
accomplishing it so young really kind of threw me for
a loop because I just I thought it was gonna
take a lot longer. Yeah, and then I did, and
I was like, Okay, well I don't want to leave.
But also, like all of those things, I feel like
could be a side quest for me and still be
able to do this for as long as we do this,
and then if this ever ends, I could morph further
into it. Yeah, but I don't know. We'll see. I'm
(19:18):
gonna have to get a lot more land if I
start doing rescue stuff, and I could totally make my
boyfriend build a little flower shop for me on that
land and I could do it there.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Oh look at that.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yeah, and I could still travel and do like mobile
put together itineraries for people I know, and I could
do it all.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
I think we're both just like we we want to
do everything. It's like there's not enough hours in the
day to do everything we want to do.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
I know, And so it's crazy come a time when
that's right. And yeah, I think it's good to have
just ideas and plans for a later point in your life.
But yeah, that's all. Okay, best airport you've been to,
Kyle and Minnesota. Best airport Ooh, let's see.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Oh, my gosh, I'm trying to think. I always go
the same ones. It's like Saint Louis, Denver.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Saint Louis, that flight to which does sucks.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, Saint Louis is not the best one.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
It's it is the best one for coming from here
because it's the flight.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Yeah, I actually like it. I it's nice.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Saint Louis is nice. I say suck because there's only
like one or two that come out now a week,
and that's when it's too mad. Yeah, that's why it sucks,
not because of Saint Louis.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
I'm in there at like eleven at night. Everything's closed
and I'm like, oh my gosh, I want to leave.
I'm the only one here.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Yeap, because it's either the early morning flight or late
at night flight. Yes, only options. The one that's coming
to mind for me because I got to see it
and I started pulling up some different lists, but this
one didn't even make it. I loved the Palm Springs Airport.
Really it's all outdoors.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Oh I haven't been.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
And you have, like you still have roofs and stuff,
but a lot of it is outdoors, so you're walking
in and out and very just vibey palm trees everywhere,
and it's the vibe of Palm Springs. I loved that airport.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
That is really cool.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Yeah, so that was a good one.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
I'm there's any Chicago that's cool.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Chicago's cool, it's huge.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
That may have been the.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
One they're thinking of. Yeah, I've never really thought about airports.
I really am not a big person of spending time
in airports. I will get in and get out. I
show up thirty minutes before I flight. I leave as
soon as I arrive, right. I just am not a
big spinder timer at I know airport.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
No, the Nashville Airport, how much it has changed is crazy.
Oh I remember what it was like before they did
the whole remodel all of it.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Yeah, it was so small.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Now it's like I feel like I'm not even in Nashville.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Somewhere else. Yeah, they have a whole extension that just
got added on last month or two.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
The Kansas City one's nice. Now, ooh, that might actually
be my favorite Kansas City. Okay, I like it.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
KCMO comes strong, Yeah, I like that. And then, also
in that same capacity, where are your next vacation plans? Nick?
And Louisiana.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
I am going to California to see my uncle.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
You love going out to California.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
I do.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Same place, uh huh, Laguna, Laguna Beach. You go to
new places when you're out there, or do you just
keep going the same places.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
I kind of just hang out with him. It's basically
just to spend time with him because I love him
and I you never know, he's he's getting older and
like he was the one that got the kidney transplant
from my aunt seven years ago, and so I just
I'm trying to spend as much time as i can
with him.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Well I can, so, Yeah, you guys spend time with family.
And that's a cool place to go and visit.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
It is it's like paradise. I love it, Like I
grew up going there every summer, and so it's just
also like this feeling of like, oh free, like when
I was a kid. Like it just brings back memories.
It's so fun, a nostalgia feeling. Yeah, Oh that's fun.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
I haven't been out to Laguna. I've been to other
parts of California, but I haven't been to Laguna.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
It's so pretty.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Is that near Newport at all?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Okay. So I was at Newport, but I didn't go
all the way till it's like the next one up,
next city, okay, and you were talking me about something
with TSA.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Oh my god, boyfriend. Okay, I want to ask your
opinion on the Okay. So like our first trip we
ever took, we allow on a flight, I have TSA
pre check okay, and he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Okay, nowhere this is going go on?
Speaker 2 (23:11):
And I went without him. I'm like, okay, I'll see
on the other side.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
I'm like, I don't want to take my shoes off,
I don't want to take my laptop out.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
I'm going okay.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
He's still to this day is like, I can't believe
you like left me behind to go like in the
normal do you like normal line? And I'm like, but
I why I paid for it? Like why can I
not go? It's not my fault you don't have TSA
pre check. And he's still like, but I wouldn't do
that to you, And I'm like, but I would expect
you to. I'd be like, no, go ahead, you have it.
(23:40):
I'll just I'll be fine, Like I'm good. And it's
now it's kind of like a running joke, like every
time we go, he's like, see the ah he has
it now, but you can't believe I left him, And
I'm like, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 1 (23:52):
No, he's in the wrong for that.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
If you bought something, you're gonna use it and either
very night like catch up to that level, or you're
just gonna like you I've always.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Traveled, But you would leave him, like what if the line,
the general line that he's just going through like is
super long and he like misses the flight, Like.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Well, at least you could be there to be like, hey,
my boyfriend's coming. He got stuck somewhere. At least somebody's
there to say it. Otherwise nobody's there to say it. Also,
if you've done something one way your entire life, you're
not just gonna all of a sudden change, no TSA
PreCheck is a completely different experience than like a seat situation.
You see all those stories of like, oh I would
to first class with art. That's different.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Yes, we're sitting together, you're gonna make it through. Yeah,
I'm gonna have more time over there to chill.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Yeah, and if you no, my boyfriend, this is so funny.
We're about to fly together for the first time, which
ironically would be the first time I've ever flown with
a boyfriend. They'll mostly do a lot of road trips. Yeah,
so I've never flown with a dude before and he
doesn't have TSA. But I've been trying for the last
four months to be like, hey, if we ever travel together,
I have TSA PreCheck. I've been setting up. Oh you
(24:57):
have him, I said, I have TSA PreCheck. I will
use ESA PreCheck. So either you're gonna get it and
we're gonna be good together, or you're gonna go bire yourself.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
What do you say?
Speaker 1 (25:06):
He's like, Okay, yeah, I'll get it. You know what
he hasn't done before I've gotten it. I was like, cool,
I'm believing you. He's like, yeah, I know that's my fault.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Okay, well, yeah, I don't think I gave him the
heads up. No, maybe I did.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
I still I just don't think that's a huge deal.
I would be the same way as you as if
like we are in one, because it would be on
me to be like, okay, well we need to get
there enough so I can get through this, because it's
gonna take me longer, i'd be like, okay then, so
I have to get through this. And I'm like, yeah,
go to TSA PreCheck because you did it. I didn't. Yeah. Yeah,
he's so wrong for that, thank you. I don't know.
(25:38):
Let us know. If you disagree with us, maybe you disagree,
and there's other people. I think it's all about people too.
Everybody has different feelings on being left.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I see both sides, but no, I'm right.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
I do see both sides too, but I definitely agree
with you on this, and maybe it's because we're both
TSA PreCheck and they don't. Also, I do not understand
if you travel a lot, how you haven't done that
or some version of it.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah, even though I mean, the TSA line is starting
to get longer than the other line.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
It now is, but it's it's long, but you still
move faster because you don't have to take everything off.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
But now they're changing that you don't.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Have the show, yeah, or laptop is it?
Speaker 2 (26:14):
So it's kind of the same.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
I don't even think about it.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
I don't know the difference now, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
I don't know. I don't do a race, so you
know what, now it doesn't matter. So his point is
null and void because technically it doesn't matter anymore.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
All right, Oh my gosh, that's all for us. That's funny.
