Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hope that your body and mind. He miss the Bobby
Bobby Show. That's right. Welcome to Monday Show More Studio.
Thank you all for being here. Let's start with what's
happening with everybody in a segment we call what's the HAPs? Hey,

(00:23):
what's that? What's with you? Well? I thought I would
give everybody an update on my dog. He's about nine
months old now and he had been through so much
as far as medically. Get a lot of questions. Here's
the overview. His name is Stanley. He's about nine months old.
He's had five surgeries in the past month or so.
But he's pretty good. His eyes are fixed, both of them. Oh,

(00:44):
his breathing is much better. Had surgery on his throat,
his he gives neuter. That's fine. He end up two
eye surgeries and then um his wiener is doing okay,
that's great. So all good news. Yeah, yeah, pretty good.
So he's still at times I can't leave him out

(01:05):
with the Christmas tree. I was trying to leave him
out when I would leave for work and he's his
own room. Yeah, I'd be like, I'm gonna leave him
out because I can't not leave him out for the
rest of his life. So I left him out, but
he hates that. I don't know what it is about
the Christmas tree, so what does he do to it?
Goes and he starts eating the bottom of it, like
ripping it off. He hates. It's like someone moved in
the house. He doesn't like. And so I can't leave
him out with the Christmas tree. But that's good. And
now he has this thing too where I will eat

(01:26):
cereal and be recommended the cereal. Then I eat it
because it's like Keto friendly and I actually dropped some
on the floor sometimes and he'll eat it. And I
don't feed him people food. But what happens is when
he sees that cereal, he turns into like a cereal monster.
And so I'm eating this bowl of cereal and he
can't get to me because I can have the elbows out,
but he jumps over on the coffee table and then
jumps back right head first into my bowl of cereal,

(01:47):
and it was so much his head and face goes
right into it and just starts eating all the cereal,
where I just had to laugh and almost give up.
So that happened. And then also the vet tells me
when I feed him to feed a special food for
all his all the stuff he's going through. I dump
it into eat a bullt. I eat it so fast.
Then we're like, hey, put it one of those bowls
where he has to like go around and it's like
a maze. He takes a longer to eat, but his

(02:09):
nose is so short he can't put his face in
the bowl. This is a whole thing of issues. Or
we're getting through it. He's healthy. He's healthy ash right now.
So it's so cute. That's my update. That's my what's
the halfs? Hey, what's the heck? Amy? So my husband
is a pilot and my son was asked, Hey, like,
what what does your dad do? And I just thought

(02:30):
his answer was super cute. He said, um, he's an
airplane driver, kind of like a bus driver. But it's
not like what did your dad do? Oh, he's a pilot.
He's like, he's an airplane driver. Yeah, that's cute. I know,
what does your son want to be right now? A policeman?
Still still we are still to bother your husband that
he doesn't want to be a pilot a little bit.
I mean, but he understands, like I guess that not

(02:53):
every kid is going to be in the way he's into.
But I guess when he was five years old, because
his dad was a pilot, he decided I'm going to
be a pilot, and he was obsessed with all things
the airplane wise, and the fact that Stevenson's not doing
that a little rough, but we'll get over it, all right,
what's the hats? Hey? What's the hatch? Guys? Janelle Evans

(03:16):
is moving to Nashville. I don't know who that is.
Teen mom Too, she's from teen Mom Too. She's getting
a divorce and she's going to start a new life
in Nashville. And oh my gosh, that means I could
be friends with her. She could live right down the
street from me. I could make her kids be friends
with my kid. I mean, this is perfect. How cool

(03:36):
is it that Janelle Evans is moving here? This is
one of those things that where I would encourage you
to play it a little cooler. Rememb when he came
out and was like screaming about Johnny Bananas. Yeah, and
how did that friendship end up blossoming? No, it's a
real question. No, I didn't blossom. I just think you
go a little too hard to where they're like, oh,
that guy's kind of crazier than he is normal. Yeah,
I mean, just want to be your friend, Just try

(03:56):
to be your friend. Well, I gotta get her to
be back on my good She blocked me on Twitter.
All that's tough. It's gonna be tough to get the
kids playing if she's blocking you on social video sounds impossible.
But that's a good point. You can't use the kids. Yeah, exactly.
I thought it was perfect, Like, Oh, find out they're
gonna be playing at the park. Oh, we go to
that park all the time. Will you find out where
she lives? Absolutely? Will you go by her house? I will? Okay,

(04:18):
how are you gonna find out? Is the internet is
out there? People will figure it out for me. There,
there's good detectives there. He goes a y, what's the hack? Eddie? Well,
I've been wondering when this is gonna happen. But finally
my six year old saw me playing guitar. He went
to one of our Raging idiot shows. I've been playing
guitar for a long time, and I was wondering, when
is one of my kids gonna finally want him to

(04:39):
learn how to play guitar. My six year old he
came up to me with his own little guitar and said, Dad,
will you show me how to play this thing? Dude,
what a big moment in our live. So I showed
him the D chord and a lot of songs start
with a D chord. So now he walks around with
a dcord and trying to play it a little bit.
It's not perfect, but you'll get there. And I just
love that he's show an interesting guitar. Have you showed
him the G string? Yeah? Oh, I get that's obvious joke.

(05:05):
Is there really a G stream? Yeah? All right, there
it is. Hey, what's the hat? The Bobby Bones show story.
Let's go over to our producer, Raymondo. RAYMONDO, what you
out over there? Happy's Cyber Monday. The deals go all
day long online for most of your favorite stores. In
New Orleans, at least ten people were shot and wounded.

(05:25):
A gunman opened fire into crowds in the street after
the Bayou Classic football game. And finally, in the Northeast,
more than a foot of snow is forecast in New
York and New England. The National Guard is on standby.
Want to join it? On a topic called the show
at one eight seven, seven seventy seven Bobby The Bobby

(05:45):
Show Show. Okay, so what happened? Okay, So my friend
went on a date and it was a very first date,
and when the bill came, she likes, you know how
when you go out with the girl, you appreciate the
wallet grab. Yeah, I appreciate the reach. I'm I'm not
gonna let you pay forever, but you like if the
girl is like going into her bag to get her wallet.

(06:07):
But then you're like, I got this, I got this. Yes,
It's like this is the move with me because I'm dating,
so reach for yours. I'd like, no, no, no, I'm
not gonna split it. Stop stop, it's not even an
option to split it. I'm going to get it right. Okay, Okay,
So my friend who is dating a lot right now,
I mean, and she's like our age, so she's like

(06:27):
ready to find somebody. But when the bill came, she
was like it kind of was she just I don't know,
I guess she just felt like she's used to paying
because she's an independent female. She works hard, so she
just kind of instinctly was like, no, I got this.
But then also at the same time kind of thought
after that came out of her mouth that he would
be like, no, way, I got this, but he said okay.

(06:51):
So she was like so confused. She goes, I know
I'm in the wrong because I said I got this.
That's all I mean. I take full responsibility. She's like,
but the fact he just said okay and then let
me pay was a turn off. Okay, So here's the
thing I think I'm dating too, right, Yeah, So it's
me and my personal belief system and how I live
in my life. I would never let someone pay, right,

(07:14):
I would. I wouldn't let someone pay me and how
I live my life, okay, Right. And by the way,
I don't even think about her paying the whole bill.
I'm thinking, like it might even let you split. Right
she first told me the story, I thought, okay, y'all
wit Dutch, which I was like, okay, and she goes, no, no,
I paid for the whole thing. He didn't even say,
let's at least go have the's nothing. He just said, okay.
But here's the only thing I have to say back, Like,

(07:35):
if you say it, though, no mean it, you're you're
bound to it. And she did. She was bound to it.
She paid for it. She didn't look at him and say,
you're joking, right, I here, you pay for it. I
mean she paid for it. N you can also make
your decision on that person based on what that answer
is too, Like she has every You're all making decisions
based on your actions. There. Everybody's making decision based on
everybody's action. Yeah, if I were with you and you're grabbing,

(07:56):
I said no, you can then go oh, because I
had a girls get mad at me for opening doors
for them. They're like, we do, like I got mown door. So,
but you're all making decisions based on what you're looking
for in your life, on every little action that you're making.
She's looking for somebody to not say okay, So looking
for somebody to say, oh no, no, no, no, thank you,
but I got this. Yeah, it's definitely a thing where

(08:17):
if she said it okay, it's like negotiating a contract,
Like you can go do the little thing you're bluff
But if they go okay, you're done, You've said it,
you're in. So that's basically all dating is a contract
negotiation in some form. So she has the right to
also be turned off by him. Not doing it. But
he has every right to be like, oh, you want
to do it, you should pay. Everybody's testing everybody, Okay,

(08:40):
But if Hilarious, I know because I would never never
allow that in my life. She totally. Maybe Huan was
raised by different parents that are like, hey, if someone
offers to pay and they're being generous, let's let them
have their generosity. We're all raised by different people, live
in different lives. But Hilarius I texted her because I
know where too, and I was like, oh, but don't

(09:01):
offer it. In life. The two things that I've been
working on. Don't offer it if you don't mean it.
I always mean i't want to offer it. But also
if someone offers it, they mean it and take it.
You have to live by if you're gonna live by
your rule. If if I'm offering it, this is a
sincere offer, and you have to accept everybody else that
their offers. So maybe that's what he was doing, is
living by that rule. And maybe he's turned on because

(09:22):
he's like, oh my gosh, this girl is amazing. She
paid for me like this, and he probably went to
his friends and was like, I went on the greatest
date this girl is amazing. I'm gonna marry her well,
and that's on them to figure that out. But I mean,
even more so than dating. Here's my point. If you're
going to say I only offer sincerely to people, then
you have to take their offers as sincere too. Okay,

(09:43):
and I'm talking to myself as well. Okay, because I
do offer and go ahead, like to help you here,
I'd like to do this, Will you take this? And
people like, oh, I don't know, Like I wouldn't offer
one since here. I mean, you can stay at my
house with your family when you move. Yeah, I know
you said it. And I even listen back on the
replay that you said that. I was like, wow, he
said that, yes, and I mean it. And therefore when
you offer me things, I'm always like, ah, she doesn't
mean it, but I can't. It's not fair to me

(10:05):
to offer since here but not taken since here offers
bigger than life but hilarious. Yeah, and now she knows.
Now she knows that's not for her. It could be
for somebody else, yeah, but not for some girls. My mean,
the guys being like okay, but she she's not and
I wouldn't and that would never be me in my
life by the Yeah yeah, yeah, I never never. That's

(10:26):
a good story that I think a lot of people
relate to that. Thank is the Bobby Bones show. All right,
lunchbox of what happened? So you know how I've been
telling you. They have the auctions in my neighborhood where
they just sell a house. They say auction, and on

(10:46):
this day you go and you bid on the house.
So do people get to go inside the houses? Yes,
it's open for everybody. You can walk in check it.
It's sort of like Storage Wards on TV. You can
look at everything. And then at one thirty say that's
the time they just start all right, ere we go,
Now we're gonna start the bidding blah blah blah. And
they start bidding and people yeah yeah, and they start
bidding on the house. So you went absolutely no intention

(11:09):
on buying the house. I just want to drive the
price up. Who said, jerk man, why would you do that? Like?
What what's your motivation for doing that? Man? It's just fun.
I've always watched Storage Wars and I think it's cool
how they get to go yeah, oh me, you know
things like that, and so I want to be a
part of it, and so I go to these houses

(11:31):
and I mean, I just want to be a part
of the action. But you know that someone's paying more
money for something because of what you're doing. Well, I
mean that's the business, okay, And there's no chance you
think you'd win this thing. No, no, no. Like whenever
it starts, I start getting nervous when like people start
dropping out. And then I'm like, all right, I gotta
stop because I see, okay, someone walks away. Because people,

(11:52):
once they're done bidding, they just leave, and so you're
down to like five people. I'm like, okay, I better
not bid anymore. All right, Here is lunchbox at a
house of right. Yeah, it's a five bedroom, five room house,
two bathrooms and it has a little um utility closet
in the I guess in the yard where you had
no interest in buying this house, no interest whatsoever. Okay,

(12:12):
here we go. Yeah, I want to it's mine. It's
give it to me. Not too hot, too hot, too
hot da. People can sell you like, oh man, sorry

(12:37):
about that. You didn't get that one. Oh you know that? Well,
they have people in the crowd that are you sure
you don't want to go higher? They point it. You're
like like you you should keep going, and I'm like no, no, no,
they don't consult you. But then and then the guy
talking were like, you guys know what a beauty this is.
Oh my gosh, this is a beauty. Don't want to
watch away from now. You don't want to walk away now?
And I'm like, I want to walk away now. When
it gets three fifty, I'm out. Sorry he's seeing you though,
when you're yelling that stud Oh yeah, I mean he

(12:57):
stood on top of a truck with speaker so the
whole neighborhood could hear. And what did it feel like
whenever he had acknowledge you? Oh? Man, it felt good.
It felt like you were winning. He's like, yeah, this
guy wants it, like he felt like you were friends, Like, hey,
you know what, you're a hero for bidding on this house.
And I felt like I was doing good because I
was going to improve the neighborhood. But then, I mean,
it just keeps flying up and he goes so fast,

(13:19):
like it's he moves on from you real quick. Though.
Did you see anybody that won the house? Oh? I
saw it was a couple. Yeah, they won. They were
high five in each other. What were your thoughts on that?
I was proud of them. I was happy. Um, I
think they got a beautiful property. They're probably just gonna
tear down the house and build something new and sell it.
But hey, props to them. I'm sorry that I couldn't win.

(13:41):
And what does your wife think about this? She thinks
it's stupid. From Nashville and Tullywood. Number two. Garth Brooks
documentary The Road I'm On is airing tonight in tomorrow
on A and E. And in't it Garth's ex wife
seeing He talks about their marriage, and he says she's

(14:02):
phenomenal with her interview. It airs at nine eighth Central.
Bootcombs loves that his parents join him on the road.
My dad's sixty four and my mom's fifty eight, and
so seeing them both be retired watching that happen has
been not only a joy for me, but a great
way for them to have the financial freedom and the
ability to come out and experience some of these awesome

(14:25):
things that I get to do right by my side.
Thomas ratshared that he and his wife Lauren have been
asked a bunch of times to do a reality TV
show but he says that's something they never do. He
confessed that they've already given up of themselves on social
media and a reality show might just be too much.
I'm Morgan number two. That's you're skinny. It's time for

(14:46):
the good news. This is just the cutest thing ever.
There's this knitting club at a retirement community in Texas,
and they've been knitting for like ten years yours, and
they have like a knitting group name. They're called the
knit Wits. That's funny. The Nitwits, yeah, get it. And

(15:07):
they put together like knit caps and scarves and they
send them to troops serving in Afghanistan, which it gets.
It's good for freezing cold there in the winter. So
I mean, just super cool and I love it. There's
right now there's about twenty members of the Knitwits and
they spread their love through knitting. That's a good story.
My favorite knitting group. It's a country group called the
Nitty Gritty Dirt Bands. Oh yeah, okay. They knit lots

(15:30):
of different like country thing. That's that's what's up, Amy,
That's what it's all about. Right there. That was tell
me something good. Bow down. Sorry today. This story comes
us from Clearwater, Florida. A twenty year old man pulls
up at a stop wy that's two am. He looks
at the car next to him, says, want to race?
Boom room light turns green. The only problem is guy

(15:54):
next to them, undercover cop pulls them over. Whoo, well
you know that guy as soon as he saw those
lights his But how go yeah, unmarked vehicle gets you
every ti time. Okay, lunch box, that's your bone head
story of the day. Dolly Parton talks about how she
dreams song lyrics so you will wake up in the

(16:16):
middle of the night and go, oh, I have a
melody or I have some lyrics. Do you have a
no pattern? Do you type into your phone? I just
have no pad because I would still work like that.
I still write all my song longhand I don't even
use any of the you know, and I still when
I put down my songs because I'm so programmed for
the old days and hats always work for me. I
have my big legal pads to write. I still work

(16:38):
with a cassette and because that's just kind of my
mind is sit like that and then you know, transfer
them to you know, to CDs. But I still work
like I always did. And that's a flow like that
the ball show your buddy and mind he missed the
bombing transmitted America. That's right, all right. Time to play

(17:05):
Amy versus Lunchbox. Four to three. Lunchbox in the lead,
right now, let's go. We'll ask Lunchbox three questions that
when we google questions for women, these three come up.
The whole purpose of this is to put Lunchbox in
uncomfortable spots of trivia. Got it, Lunchbox, you're up. Question
number one, Matt gloss sheer and transfer resistant are types

(17:32):
of what product? Matt gloss sheer and transfer resistant are
types of what product? Matt black. I know you can
get a car in that color Sago nail polish. That
is incorrect, Amy Lipstick. Correct, Lunchbox, which of these flowers

(18:03):
requires the least water because this only needs water every
seven days? A rose, a lily, or an orchid. Now
you have a one in three shot. We don't normally
do multiple choice, but only once every seven days? Does
this flower need water? A rose, a lily, or an orchid?

(18:25):
I mean, let's go. The answer is orchid. Wh Wow,
lucky guess ye Frozen two is still crushing it at
the box office. Who's the voice of Elsa? Also the
main princess. I'm gonna say yeah, because that's what all

(18:47):
the kids dress up. Frozen two is still crushing it
at the box office. Who's the voice of Elsa? I
don't know if it's this is that girl? But Kristen Chinaw,
dang it, it's I don't think Christian Joth is in Frozen?
Don't think Amy? Can you steal Menzel? Correct? All right?

(19:08):
Amy steals two? Lunchbox has one? Let's go over, Amy,
Let's go you get three questions meant for dudes? Freddy?
How many rings are in the Audie logo? Audie the
car brand? Yeah? How many rings are in the Audi logo?
You say Audio? I say Audi? Huh oh? What do
you guys say? Audi? Audie? There you go, Morgan number two?

(19:31):
She goes Oudia. She said everything funny? What do you say? Okay? Anyway? Um,
what are you gonna say? I think it's Audis It
can be however you've pronounced it said Audi. I don't know. Okay, right, Bobby,
it's Audie. I'm gonna say one, two, three, four, four? Logos? Correct? Amy?

(19:53):
James Harden plays what professional sports James Harden, Oh basketball,
what nice? Yeah, don't ask me what team. But grip tape, trucks,
wheels and bearings are all parts on what sports equipment.
Grip tape, trucks, wheels and bearings are all parts of

(20:16):
what sports equipment trucks. Sport grip tape trucks, wheels and
bearings are all part of what sports equipment sports equipment trucks.
This is throwing me, but I mean, I guess my
first guest in my head was Nascar. I don't know
how that makes sense, but Nascar lunchbox, that's when you

(20:38):
do an allie on your skateboard. Good trucks, lunchbox steals.
That puts it at Amy four. Lunchbox too. Amy is
a big winner. I don't know he'll get juice. Juice
You feel good? Yeah? Oh I feel so good? Yeah?

(21:02):
I go hey, whatever makes this early in the morning. Whatever.
You don't drink coffee, however, No, I drink it sometimes.
It's not not never, But do you ever come in
you're a little wired because of coffee? Yeah, we're any
sort of caffeine. Yeah. The top reasons Americans drink coffee
go number one oh, to wake up. That's actually number two,
to stay awake. I'm not a coffee drinker. Once every

(21:26):
month and a half or so, we'll I have any coffee.
I'll put espresso in a tea. Yeah, a little bit.
I don't feel like that's a coffee drinker, Like that's
tea a little bit of coffee. Okay, yeah, that makes sense,
But I don't understand how that's not number one whiles.
I mean, I get that we start drinking it because
of that, but I mean, I guess just socially. Number
three is to stay focused. Oh that doesn't work for me. Okay.

(21:47):
Number two is to stay awake, to be awake, and
number one is they just like to taste. But it's
good though, I don't see whatever that dies having aired it. Yeah,
and someone who can drink black coffee, I can do that.
Have you ever had it out of a cute little
coffee mug? Yeah? Probably mean that helps. It just feels

(22:11):
like if you've got your favorite mug and you sip
out of it, that just helps the whole experience to self.
You love Christmas movies, huh? Of course, yes, who doesn't. Well,
I saw in Netflix a Christmas Prince seen it. Oh yeah,
huh yeah. So cheesy, yes, but the cheesier the better.
I mean, yeah, they all are, most of them are.

(22:33):
But that's there's just something if it's Christmas time and
there's a cheesy movie on, the more the better. Christmas
comes early for an aspiring young journalist, which he sent
abroad to get the scoop on a dashing prince who's
poised to be the king. So it's like normal girl
meets fancy guy. Yeah, or in a Hallmark movie, it's
like a girl from the city meets country guy. Right,

(22:54):
that's like either runs a coffee shop or is a
Christmas tree farmer or something local business. What's with Netflix
and their Christmas movies? Like them? Yes, I love them,
like they have good ones and you can scroll through,
like if you're looking for them. You know, they have
different categories, but I think it says something like it's
beginning to look a lot like Netflix. You type all
that in the search, but I'm pretty sure you could

(23:16):
just type in like Christmas. But I mean, if you're
just scrolling down, that's what it says. In the next segment,
I'm gonna give you a Christmas movie, Okay, like a
Hallmark Christmas movie, and you tell me if it's a
real one or if we just made it up. Okay,
I'm gonna be good. So if you're in your car
right now, you're playing play against someone, you guys play
against each other, we'll do that game. Real or fake
Hallmark Christmas movie. Next, miss any of today's show. You

(23:39):
just want to listen again, check out the Bobby Bone
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio WAP. You do love
your Hallmark Christmas movies? Huh yes? And they are rolling now,
They've been rolling since October twenty six. Hallmark is releasing
forty new Christmas films this year, Amazing which started back

(23:59):
in octob over. Hallmark does them? Who else does them? Lifetime?
Those are the two solid ones. I mean there's other ones.
Netflix even has some. Yeah, but Hallmarks the o G.
I feel like I've created a game for you. Okay, Well,
Mike Daz, I'm just reading it. Yeah. I'll give you
the title and plot to one of the Christmas movies.
You tell me if it's real or fake Hallmark Christmas Movies. Okay,

(24:21):
this is awesome. The first movie is called Single Bells
instead of Jingle Bells. Single Bells Ashley is a marriage
counselor who's unlucky in love, but when she starts counseling
an older couple who look remarkably like mister and Missus Claws,
she falls in love with their son, Matthew single bills.

(24:42):
She's a therapist. She's therapying two people, maybe sand in
missus Claus, but falls in love with their son. I mean,
could be real, yes, real, I'm sorry, that's fake. Okay,
that's incorrect. Okay, let's do another one. Well, that'd be
a good one. I should work on that. How about

(25:02):
every Day is Christmas? A shrewd money manager Alexis Taylor
gets the holiday visit of a lifetime. A self proclaimed
workaholic who humbugs love, Alexis ends up embracing the spirit
of Christmas when her past, present, and future collide, forcing
her to risk a one thing money can't buy her heart.
I'm pretty sure I've seen it. Oh, it is all right, good,

(25:28):
Let's do one more. How about Winter Wonderland? Is this
a Hallmark movie? Okay? A department store window decorator learns
there's a vacancy for her dream job in the run
up to Christmas, only to find. A professional rival has
his eye on it too. What's it? I feel like

(25:49):
I've seen this too. If not, there is one very similar. Yes, yeah,
it feels like all the real ones you've seen, I know,
but single Bells has some potential that one? Okay, how
about this one? More? Yep? Right Before Christmas w R.
I te recently single Jessica, who sends Christmas cards to

(26:11):
five people that have influenced her life. The aunt, her
younger brother in the military, a pop star who provided
music she liked, the music teacher, and her best friend.
As each person receives her card, they are sparked to
act in their own personal lives to make them better.
It's called the Right Before Christmas. That it's quite the
detail for something that might not be real. So I

(26:32):
don't know if I've seen it, but I'll watch it. Yes, okay,
they're pretty good at that game. All right? Nice joff
that is. Don't this just make you feel good? Don't
you want to watch them? No? You know you're not
into it at all, nothing about that nothing, but you

(26:52):
want to be in one? Yeah? Okay, yeah, it would
be fun. It would be fun. I want to be
a good iron one though, there's like the guy in
the city goes back home to the country. Yeah, it's
like I've been here in a while. I'm here because
some of the tragic happened, and I don't I'm there
for my family, but then I fall in love with
somebody from home. Yeah. Either that or you're the guy

(27:13):
in the small town and the girl from the big
city comes to you. That's an interesting content. You're a
Christmas tree farmer. Oh oh, you've already got this whole
thing planning. Okay, okay, all right, Merry Christmas. Everybody here.

(27:34):
So shout out to Disney. There's a terminally ill patient
that really wanted to watch Rise of Skywalker, so Disney
sent him an advanced copy of the movie. It doesn't
hit theaters till December twentieth, but he got to watch
it in hospice and just his family and him. They're
like so grateful. That's cool. You know what. I also
read as they sent someone with the movie who, well,

(27:56):
someone from no, not like a stormtrooper, but someone someone
from Disney to make sure because they don't, and rightfully,
so they don't trust anyone blindly, they don't just you
can boot like that stuff so awesome, they sent it
and they send someone to to kind of watch it
with them and make sure they don't like shoot video
and self destruct. Because here's a couple of things. One,

(28:17):
even with this show, people have lied to me about
how sick they are, and they're like, oh, I'm I'm dying.
I really need to meet Stapleton or man, if you
can just get me that Pam Tillis meet and Greek
because I don't have long to live. And I'm being
a little hyperbolic there, but the truth is I've made
things happen for people off the gear and then it
turns out they were lying, So then you don't trust anybody.

(28:40):
Can you imagine everybody asking Disney come on if you can.
So yeah, So what they do is, by the way,
great for them to send that on. But I did
see that they sent someone. They always send someone with
them just to make sure, just to make sure. Speaking
of pirrating, not to throw Eddie's kids under the bus,
but Eddie's oldest son, Eddie Junior, who's eleven, yeah, has

(29:02):
been pirrating Disney Plus. Yeah, he's probably not proud of
me if I talk about this, But yeah, he's been
He has Disney Plus and some of his friends don't
have Disney Plus. So he's been recording scenes from certain
shows on Disney Plus and send him to his friends.
And I had to have a serious talkshow I like, buddy, though,
this could be illegal. You gotta be careful. That could
be is Yeah. Yeah, they're probably not getting press charges

(29:24):
unless you get on like a national radio show. Want
to talk about it, Well, I'm not gonna do that. No, no,
of course we don't say his name. God kids these days,
my daughter does the same thing with her tablet. Not
further people, but for herself. She's not allowed to watch
certain things on her tablet, like download them, but she's
allowed to take video. So with her tablet, she took
pictures and video things and music and stuff she wants
to watch and hear back and keeps it in her

(29:46):
video folder. So when she wants to watch it, she
just watches it. How do they think, Yeah, there's a will,
there's a way. I figured it out. I'm probably watching
their parents learning how to do this illegal stuff. Wait
it Well, speaking of Disney Plus and Star Wars, there's
there's some new show called like The Mandalorian or something.
Mike I talk about it. Miked, watch it's a Star
Wars spini ish off. Yeah, okay, yeah, well I guess

(30:09):
o we're gonna but that. We watched one episode. I
fell asleep, but well, and you may not remember we
talked about it because it's so out of what we watch,
so I didn't even know that's what. Yes, sorry, because
I asked Mike d if I should watch it, but
you said to me no, Yeah, you haven't seen any
Star Wars. He won't like it. That's probably that's probably
why I fell asleep too, and probably why Miked was
talking against Baby Yoda. Is any that one? Right? Yeah?

(30:31):
Is that where baby Yoda? I see all the memes
about Yeah baby smart? Is baby Yoda already smart? He's
like has like the early powers of Yodea. It's not Yoda,
actually Yoda, but it's a species. Yeah wait, that's not Yoda.
It looks like Yoda. It's the same species, but it's
not baby. Oh it's not. No, but everybody calls a
baby Yoda. Okay, all right, I don't know what that means, Amy,
you're up again because I'm lost. Okay. So Bobby put

(30:55):
this on his as the story, and it's just a
good reminder, I think for all of us. So I
pulled it, and it's don't charge your phones in those
little USBs that are conveniently provided for you, like at
coffee shops or airports for whatever, because obviously, when you're desperate,
that's what you want to do. But hackers are there
waiting to just pull all your inp really. Yeah, it's
still on my Instagram story right now. I saw in

(31:15):
the New York Times it's they're putting malware in a
lot of these things. As soon as you plug in
into your phone, malware takes it and they have it all.
Now what I have done, and I just I love it,
is that I bought one, and I wish I had
it in here. I do have it in here. I
have one of those you what are those things called
where you charge your phone like a mofi. Okay, so

(31:35):
it's a mofi, but check this out. It's like, oh, man,
don't plug my headphones. A mofi that protects you. No,
But it's just a mofi, so you don't need to
plug your phone up at the coffee shop. Oh you
keep it charge the mofi. So and you look at this.
This is the best one I've ever bought. It's this
that's like a mop used to be what you put
around your phone. This is just like an extra battery.

(31:57):
I have that and you and it's like got three
phone charges on it. And again you have to be
responsible to keep this thing charged, which I am. I'm not,
but this is this version of the Mophi is the
greatest thing. And I avoid that airport or a coffee
shop getting hacked. That'd be a good Christmas present. So
have lifelot. Yes, shout out So an expectant mother who

(32:18):
was thirty eight weeks pregnant and cleared by her doctor
to fly and the airline again at thirty eight weeks pregnant,
which Eddie, what what? What's full term? Thirty eight? I
guess I don't know. Oh my gosh, Eddie has four kids. Yes,
so I'm pretty sure that's basically you're about to give birth.
But she was cleared to fly and sure enough gave

(32:39):
birth on an American Airlines flight, and they can gave
the baby in the middle name Sky get it. No,
I do. She may have had to get somewhere right,
that's super important. She said she felt her water break
in the sky and she tapped her husband. She was like,
oh my gosh, I think my water just broke. So yeah,

(32:59):
American air Line splite had an extra passenger before everyone
got off the plane, but I think she had it
on the ground. Yeah, they did a landing and then
she gave birth on the jetway. But like she went
on that plane with no baby. She was that pregnant
on the plane. If she was just going for a vacation,
bad her. If she needed to get somewhere. I'm listen.

(33:20):
When you gotta do it, you gotta do it. You
probably don't think you have a kid, but if you're
probably just going like got a thirty a that have
a little beach time that pregnant like baby moony Yeah yeah,
middle name sky though. I'm glad everybody's healthy and they
got that all fixed. Yeah. I have a friend there's
a doctor. And she was talking about they did that,
is there any doctor on board? Now? She does eyes

(33:45):
And they were like, hey's ther a doctor on board,
and she's like, oh great, like kind of but she's
a doctor. Yeah, And so she's like, I'm a doctor,
but apparently a kid had had ruptured their ear drums
on the plane, and so they were like, we'll take
any doctor. And so she goes, and you know, her
specialty isn't ears, but I guess when you're a doctor,

(34:08):
you're just a doctor on a plan. They'll take anything.
And so she went and was like, well, there's not
a lot you can do because the kids got ruptres.
But I thought it was crazy that even though she
wasn't the right kind of doctor, they were like, we'll
take any doctor in the situation. So I wonder what
that situation was on an airplane. Well, I don't know.
I don't know the doctor. Well, i'm a vet, all right.
I think because they had landed and they were on
the jetway, they were able to gather paramedics and firefighters

(34:32):
and they came and helped. But definitely gave birth to
her and her water broke in the sky. I'm sure
the pressure of flying because all this stuff happens, squirts
the baby out. She's like the water. That's a file
that was Amy's pile of stories. Tell me something good.
Guys going out to have some dinner with his wife

(34:53):
he sees a crazy explosion across the street, and what
he does next will make you go, I wonder if
I would have done that. Just a random dow not
having dinner and this happens. We'll talk about that and
tell me something good coming up. Tell me something good next.
On the Bobby Bones Show, It's time for the good news.

(35:14):
Glenwood Little was saved from his burning car with very
few injuries thanks to the heroic driver who pulled him
from the blazing vehicle. He had been on his way
home from getting more gas fous generators when one of
the gas cans spilled in the back seat. He had
been smoking a cigarette at the time. The fuel suddenly
ignited and caused an explosion of flame inside the car.

(35:34):
That's all crazy, by the way, the gas bills and
if you have gas in the back to see the
cardinal smoke. Okay, this is in hindsight. In hindsight. After
experiencing a wave of yellow light and heat, the dazed
Connecticut drivers so he tried to undo a seat belt,
but to no avail. Luckily, Edward Sear was on his
way to dinner with his wife, saw the explosion from

(35:54):
across the street. The security footage captured the minute he
ran up to the vehicle as the car was on fire,
which pulls him out. So I didnt even see the
guy come to the door. He opened it up and
reaches in and gets my seat belt off. Since a
random ambulance also having me passing, they quickly got him
for treatment. I mean, this guy's a hero. He jumped
into a fire to save somebody else. Wow wow, I

(36:15):
mean that right, there is what it's all about. That
was tell me something good, your buddy, and mind you
miss the boy show? All right? Thanksgivings over. So now
we're onto Christmas jokes. Oh yeah, so this is the

(36:36):
first Christmas joke of the Morning, Corny, which we will
roll with these for about a month and it's gonna
be awesome. You feel good about him, yes, because there's
so much you can do around Christmas time. Absolutely, here
we go, first Christmas morning corner, Morning Corny, what do
you call a bankrupt Santa? What do you call a
bankrupt Santa? Saint? Nicholas Nicole Nicolas, Nicholas, Nicholas Nicholas. Pretty good?

(37:09):
That was the morning Corny. There you go. I got
a teacher on the phone who wants some advice. In
a second, we'll do that. Appreciate everybody being here on
the Bobby Bone Show. Bobby Bone Show. Let's go over
to Morgan in Alabama. Morgan, you're on the show. What's
happening with you? Hi, Bobby, Good morning to you. Oh

(37:31):
this is so exciting. Okay. I'm an eighth grade math
teacher and Auburn, Alabama, and our can just went through
that kind of something really sad. A girl went missing
and ended up fighting her. Anyways, my eighth grade students,
you know, way too much for their age, and I
was just about to play back some piece of advice

(37:51):
you have for them as they you know, go older
and for the huge ure and for the rest of
the year. I just want to play something backs from you.
I talked about you all the time during my first
day at school side, so I look up to you
and a kids look up to you so much. Okay, yeah,
I can say something to them, Mum, to all the

(38:12):
eighth graders listening right now, Hello, it's friend Bobby Bones.
Let me say this, eighth grade is a weird time
in your life because your body's doing different things. You're
starting to feel the pressures of looking a certain way
social media, like there's a lot like I feel for
you guys. You guys have a lot of extra pressure

(38:32):
on you. What I would encourage you to do is
if you see someone being bullied on social media or
just in general, to kind of step in and be
a support voice to them, even for them. Also understand
that if somebody is treating someone badly again bullying, that

(38:56):
in most it's because they're hurting. Like happy people don't
pick on other kids. Right in eighth grade is that
age where you guys are starting to be adults, and
so you know who's gonna look out for you. You
guys are gonna look out for each other. So as
you're sitting here listening to this right now, because listen,
I know your teacher making you listen to some dude
on the radio right now. I get it. But I'm

(39:17):
gonna tell you look out for your classmates. If there's
something that's happening where somebody is not feeling good because
of what somebody else is saying or doing, like step in.
You don't have to step in and like step up
to the bully and punch them in the face, but
what you can do is give some support to the
person that's kind of being hated on a little bit.
That's what I would encourage you to do. So look
out for your It's going to be a common theme
in your life. You look out for people, people look

(39:38):
out for you. That's how we as a society go
further by looking out for each other. That's what I
want to say to all of your eighth guds listening. Now,
be there for somebody. That was great, Bobby. I was
bullied in eighth grade and that's why I'm an eighth
grade teacher, and so if I can change in my life,
that's my purpose. So thank you for that. And I
can't wait to show the kids. Well Am, anything you'd

(40:00):
to say with the eighth grader is one right now.
Oh man, I would just say, also take that stuff home. Like,
I don't know everybody's family life what it's like, but
I know in eighth grade I tried to really I
was resistant to my mom and anything she tried to
do for me and be there for me. But I
realized later, like how important family wash. Whoever is your

(40:21):
family figure in your life, your mom, your dad, aunt, uncle, sisters, brothers, whatever,
like respect and honor them. And and uh cherish those relationships.
I'll also add as a final exclamation point where deodorant, Oh,
that's a good one. Yeah, because sometimes I'll be there
all the way, sort of hit you about sixth grade
for some folks. But gay, where deodorant you go? Football?

(40:44):
You have you need to you don't smell great kids
young young adult kids, young adult kids. Yeah, okay, how
do you feel like? Hey, how do you feel about that?
You feel good about that? Morgan? Oh? Absolutely, thank you guys,
all right, have a wonderful day at school. Appreciate you
for Colin. Thank you all right, by bye. Ball. In

(41:10):
the next segment, we'll talk about Thanksgiving an Amy's house,
which was pretty awesome, and I'll tell you how her
daughter and I finally bonded over something instead of just like,
here's a gift, we finally bonded over something more than
me just giving her a present because he's twelve. Finally, yeah,
finally the Thanksgiving a review. I'm gonna give you a
review and I'll tell you what Amy's daughter and I
bonded over. That's coming up next. Bobby Bones, yall Bobby

(41:37):
Bones show to say, Amy, you put on a heck
of a Thanksgiving Oh thanks, it's good. And I was
a little concerned that there were gonna be thirty people
at your house. But what do you mean concerned? Well space? Yeah,
and how you were going to put us all at
one table, because that was my goal. Yeah, And I
tell you Amy had to have a bunch of apples
and everybody's name written on the apple as a placeholder. Yeah.

(41:59):
It was very, very inclusive, and I was I was
happy because you know me, I never liked to impose anyway.
But you had your family, your sister, you had like
me and let me bring friends. It's just everybody could
bring anybody. It was good. It was really good. Yeah.
I loved it. I was so glad you came and
I thought it. Yeah, I was thankful to having everybody

(42:20):
around the same table. That was my only goal. Shout
out to my sister. Apples were her idea, but she
did that's that was our place setting. And the beauty
of that afterwards is nobody ate their apple. And so
now we have like tons of green apples left over.
My kids are pumped because that's their favorite apple. Well,
I give it five out of five. Cornucopia is thank you. Yeah. Yeah,
And I'll tell you us. You know, we went around

(42:42):
the table and Amy's like, okay, everybody say what they're
great before, and I'm like, oh my gosh, there's so
many people around this table. Just one thing really quick.
And here's the thing too. We already got our food
and our food is warm in front of us. Was
happy and he's like okay, everybody say what you're think
and everybody's looking around like can we eat? And where

(43:03):
you were born? Oh yeah, yeah, oh she wanted to
hold bioh yeah, she wanted to because we had people
from Haiti and South Korea and like America, and everybody
in America was all born in different places. So I thought, well,
this is a great time to just know where people
were born and then share one thing that you're thankful for.
And so, you know, my god, we did it. We

(43:23):
went around the table. Yea, yeah, it took a minute,
but it took a minute. It felt like a graduation
when you go and you go, does everybody have to
get their diploma? Like can we just just just like
be like, okay, gated, Yeah, it's Thanksgiving, you're supposed to
share its gratitude. Absolutely. Now, did people double up on
what they were thankful for and do you have to

(43:44):
be original? Oh? Yeah, no, people people doubled up. My
dad got everyone's thankful for Papaul. I was like, okay,
you win, Dad. I bet there was a pressure, though, well.
I always felt pressure in those settings, because when it
comes to like, Okay, somebody Bobby, the guys sest stuff
for a living, he's got to be funny. Oh let's
see what Bobby's gonna say, And well, no, mine wasn't

(44:06):
so much funny, serious but funny. So I always fell
an odd pressure to perform, even when I'm not supposed
to perform. There were a lot of people there. They
were even show listeners there that I hadn't met yet,
and I know they were like, oh, see what he's
gonna say when he's not on the air. So and
maybe I'm projecting a bit onto them of what I
feel like they're thinking. But so we're going around, and

(44:28):
what had happened at Amy's house was it's hard for
Amy's daughter and I to really bond over anything. She's
a twelve year old girl from Haiti. Like, I don't
know what twelve year old girls doing anyway, but insert
a girl who's only been here for two years into America,
and I'm like, so we struggle on that because I
don't really ever know what to do. Her son knock,

(44:49):
get out of the park. You don't play video games,
You're gonna throw the ball, pick you up over my head.
All that's fine, But her daughter I struggle with. But
her daughter is really into TikTok. You know who all
said to TikTok, your boy, here me do. And so
we spent like half an hour on TikTok, like doing dances,
and so there's one up on my TikTok but also
my Instagram mister Bobby Bones, where I taught her how

(45:11):
to actually count and eight count and then we did
the dance on TikTok. And so when it came around
to me, I said, you know, everybody was being thankful
about really serious things health love, I said, you know,
I would just like to say I'm very thankful for TikTok,
and people were like, and I was like, because it's
the first time that Stashira doesn't think I'm just the

(45:32):
dumb old guy who she has nothing to talk about with,
I said, because we were actually able to spend time
with each other in bond over TikTok, and so that
was what I was thankful for. So it was special,
like it was funny, but then special because in a
way you were also saying you were thankful. I was serious,
Yeah it was. It was really the first time that
she just saw me as like somebody to do something
fun with instaid of somebody was just forced in her

(45:53):
house because I do try to be as president as
I can with Amy's kids at times, and her daughter
does feel differently about me as her son because I
just spent more time with him because I know what
to do with him. All to do with the now
I do. I want to TikTok and we get on
that app and yeah we did it. We did a
dance cut. Yeah it was good. And Amy's dughter is
good at TikTok. Yeah I saw the video. You guys

(46:15):
just that. No, no, she making lots of videos. It's
not just dancing. Also like comedy bits. Oh wow, yeah,
so like she's clever. What were you thankful for? I
was thankful for my sister. Oh that's right. I almost
started crying. No, we didn't really, yeah, really did it? Yeah? Okay, whatever,
But I really was, like she got that's like her
in her family. They came to stay with me for

(46:36):
a week, and it just reminded me how thankful I
am to have her in my life. And a lot
of the awesomeness that was at my house that looked
so good. That's hers as thankful because people think it's
me and I'm like, yeah, welcome to my house. But
she's like Martha Stewart. So it was awesome. And then
we took a big picture all on the stairs. You
may see it on my Instagram and mister Bobby Bones
on my Instagram. It's great. Your Thanksgiving was great. Thank

(46:57):
you for inviting me, thank you for coming. Didn't feel
like I was imposing good. Brought nurse Bobo. Bobo and
I went over. We sat and ate and it was great.
How would you do with all the food? Oh my gosh,
we were trying. We bought a bunch of tape aware
things so that people would hopefully take a lot to go,
and not many people wanted to take it to go.
Everyone was traveling. You were traveling then, but everyone was like, oh,

(47:18):
flying out the next day, flying there, got to travel
and it's like okay, So I mean, we still have
some I guess, and he's been eating off of it. Yeah, yeah,
it's great. Yeah the Cowboys lost. Yeah, that bitter taste
of a Thanksgiving. Yeah, it wasn't a great sport. Sports.
So I did go to the Knicks game. Yeah, dude,

(47:38):
pretty ball, Yeah ball. I've never been to the Knicks.
Watch the Knicks. Yeah, that's and I've never been to
Madison Square Garden. I'm not New York City guy. I'm
Arkansas guy. I'm Nashville guy. And so but I go
and they put me on the court, I said, court side.
It was crazy. They put me up on the jumbo tron.
I don't know if that's called JumboTron, whatever, the screen.

(48:00):
They put me on the screen, and I was like,
what the crazy dude, what's it like to watch basketball?
Like right there on the court. They're so big. One
of the guys fell on my lap. If you sweat
on you, amy, I was right on the on the
court and one of the guy was like falling backward
fighting for a ball, and he sits in my lap
and he's going to like put your arms on pushing back.
But I was just so happy I got to touch
one on my rap. Mor I'm drawn his waist and

(48:23):
out and he was like, hey man, sorry, I'm like no, no,
you're good. You're good. Yeah. So it was fun. So
I did that and then flew to La last night.
So I'm in California to do American Idol for this week.
But it was I'll say this as we wrap up
our Thanksgiving talk here, it was fantastic. You really outdid
yourself this year, your first time hosting. Could not be
happier that I went and could not be prouder for

(48:45):
what you put on. Oh well, thank you. I'm so
glad you came. Yeah, me too. Show. I got a
couple of things. I read a story about a dog
that really freaked me out because this good happened to me.
Did you see the store? Now? What happened? Well, I'm
gonna tell you a minute. Okay, you see my dog Instagram.
By the way, my dog just demolishing my house. Yeah,
it was raining cabins, like, who lives there? That? No,

(49:09):
it's the dog's house. Yeah, the dog does. So if
you want to see it, that's on my Instagram at
mister Bobby Bones. But I do have a dog story
about dog licking that was like, oh my goodness. I'll
tell you that coming up. Also, I have the first
half of my top ten Country Songs of the decade. Wow,
here we are wrapping up the decade. I made a
list top ten, my top ten country songs of the decade.

(49:33):
What would you put out? It was your number one?
Just off the top of your head. You're not committed
to it? My god of the decade? The decade? Yeah,
the decade? Oh something Taylor Swift. It's got to be
for the deck of the decade. She she's in this decade,
the decade? Okay, well, this is too much pressure. Yes,

(49:53):
she has songs? Is she before the decade? No? I
think you're pretty safe, Eddie. Do you have anything you
think of just comes to mind? Of the decade? For
the decade? Gosh, I guess I would have to go
maybe a little Nasax. I gave you, guys no space
to think about this song is all? OK, we'll come back.

(50:14):
Why are you gonna be so mean? Okay? One Taylor
Swift Mean came out in the year of twenty Tencade
Little Nasax? What's wrong with it? You're about say? I
thought you're gonna say a little big town? And I
was like that makes sense. Yes, okay, here we go
back in a second, we'll do We'll do the first

(50:36):
half of my tap ten Songs of the decade Bobby Bones. Yeah,
I'm gonna throw this out there. I'm not supposed to yet,
but on Friday, tickets to the Raging Idiots Million Dollars
Show go on sale, and I'll say this our headliner.
I'm not gonna announce it that we're gonna play with
I'm gonna headline the show for SAT's say, right, yeah,

(50:56):
why not? It is Brooks and Done. Yeah, it's possibly
the two biggest country dubos of the decade, Brooks and
Done on the same stage. I'm not supposed to announce it, yeah,
but I'm just gonna say Brooks and Done. They are
so I've been begging them and they said yes. So

(51:18):
the Raging Idiots Million Dollars show, Brooks and Done will
be the headliner. They'll come out and play with us,
And there you go, the two biggest duos of the decade. Oh,
come on, you can't miss this decade. Speaking of the decade,
here we go we ready. I have my top ten
country songs of the decade at number ten, All Town
Road did not make the list at number ten. From

(51:40):
the year twenty fourteen, at number ten, Little Big Town
Girl Crush the Girl. I've never seen a song so
good be so oddly controversial that I had to fight
so hard for it to get people to go like, hey,
just chill, just chill. It was a wild time and
country music. It really was um girl crushing Uber ten

(52:01):
Songs of the Decade at number nine, Thomas Rhett Die
a Happy Man see from two thousand and fifteen. When
this song hit country music, it was everyone going, oh man,

(52:22):
I got got he nailed that love that country love story.
He nailed it. He nailed it. It was so good
and became a wedding song too. That's his song. That's
his career, so staple song, that's it. Die a Happy
Man for him. That actually took him up a level
I would say twenty fifteen, four years ago, that took
Thomas Rhett into because he won a CML Vocalist of

(52:42):
the Year, Like that took him into that that category
of artists. Yeah, that song did at number eight Top
ten Country Songs of the decade. According to me, Casey
Musgrave's Merry Go Around Good God is so good for me,
I've not been screaming it as of late, because I

(53:04):
feel like once everybody starts to scream it, you have
to back off a little bit. But Casey Muskrats be
my favorite artist since I've been in Nashville. Of all
contemporary artists, She's my favorite, Casey Old Dominion and Garth
kind of is that line He's still to me Garth
from the nineties, or he's Garth, Yeah, but Casey's my favorite.
And that was the introduction to Casey Musgraves, like here

(53:24):
we go, same trailer, different parks the record, loved it,
liked it better than Golden Hour. Like that first record
to me was like, this is Casey Musgraves. And so
at number eight on my top ten Country Songs of
the Decade is Casey Musgrave's Mary Go Around and number seven.
This artist came into the building once and it was
when his record was coming out, and he's like, hey,
I got this new record, and he was doing this
song he had a single four but we were sitting

(53:46):
in my office and he goes, but I'm gonna tell
you I got this other song and that's on the album.
He goes, it's slow, So I knew it could be
an issue because it's slow. He goes, but it's so good,
and I was like, oh yeah, and I'm just like
everybody is promoting everything they're doing, but he rarely did
they promote a single one or two songs away. And
he's like, not even a single, Like it's so good,
Like the first time I heard it, I had to

(54:07):
record it, and he goes, and it was written by
one person. I didn't write it. One person wrote it.
She wrote it, sent it to me and I cut
it immediately, and I was like, is that right? Do
you know who it is? No, no clue. The year
is twenty sixteen. The artist was Tim McGraw. The song
is Humbling Kind. Laurie McKenna wrote the song who she

(54:28):
recorded it herself too later, But I just remember Tim
sitting with me my office and going, Okay, I know
this is the single. Now it's a different song, he goes,
but humbling kinds of song. That's gonna beat the song
from this record, And boy was it ever. Yeah, Tim
McGraw Humbling Kind at number seven on My Songs of
the Decade, at number six. The year is twenty eighteen.

(54:52):
It's a duo. O. What is it yeah, yeah, you
know what song because it Tequila was that shot them
to the next level, because they are next level now.
But this was the one that made Dan and Shay
undeniable to people. Yeah, because forever people try to deny them,
like no, no, no about those two guys. Is that
even country? Are they even any good? Are they wants? Tequila?

(55:14):
Hit ball, game boys, no question girls. They are now
superstars number six Tequila, Dan and Jay says to keep says,
tomorrow hit you with five to one. Oh, we gotta wait.
Tomorrow hit you with five to one. So when I

(55:35):
come tomorrow, you guys, have you your song of the decade? Okay, okay,
So Girl Crushed Ie, A Happy Man, Marry go Around,
Humbling Kind, and Tequila are the first to nine eighty
seven six of my songs of the decade. Everybody Good, Yeah, okay,
Boom dude, gold Town Road, Tomorrow might be in your
top five rules the list. Tell me something good. I

(56:00):
love a good comeback story. A guy spent six years
in jail, then twenty years later he appears, well I
don't even want to tell you where he appears. Lunchbox
has this story coming up next, and I do think
you'll like it. It'sn't tell me something good. Tell me
something good. Next on the Bobby Bones Show, it's time
for the good news good. Twenty years ago, this guy,

(56:25):
Robert and Detroit was sentenced to six years in prison
for all these robberies he's been committing and he's behind bars.
He's like, man, I got to change my life. So
twenty years later he's getting sworn in as a lawyer,
and who swears him in but the judge that sendenced
them to six years in prison. Wow, Oh that is
a great story. Wow, guy totally redid his life. That

(56:48):
is amazing. That's what it's all about. Right there. That
was tell me something good. I hope that your buddy.
And he missed the Bobby Oh yes, that's right. This
guy died because he got an infection because his dog

(57:08):
licked him. Oh no, you know who else's dog licks
him all the time? Yah? Yeah, wait, he died. According
to the report, the sixty three year old was healthy
before coming down with a fever, trouble breathing, leg pain,
a rash of purplish red splotches on his face and legs.
He was admitted into the intensive care unit when his
organs started failing. Despite strong antibiotics and other efforts to

(57:32):
save him, his condition declined rapidly. He died. His doctors
were able to determine he'd been effective with a bacterium
called not even try to pronounce it, a germ commonly
found in the amounts of dogs and cats that causes
usually no harm either animals on their owners. The Center
for Disease Control says those most at risk for this
are people whose immune system are either compromised a bit

(57:54):
or drink alcohol excessively. And I don't think I'm either
one of them, but you never know till you know.
Saw this freaking me out because I'm letting my dog
lick me more. Yeah, not my dog. Yeah, what are
you gonna do? I'm gonna tell you what I did
this weekend though, because we were all for four days
and I was at the house for most of it.
And I don't let my dogs sleep in the bed
with me as a general rule, because that can't be

(58:17):
his bed. He needs to have his own room. But
I did let him a couple of nights because I
was like, he's here anyway, he snores so loud. I'm
gonna now play you a clip of my bulldog nine
months old. He snores louder than the TV that I
can't hear the TV. Here you go, and that's just

(58:41):
taking my phone. Yeah, how did you even sleep? Play
it again? Please? And that's after his surgery. He's snore.
I can't and I can't. Like when I do get
a girl friend, I can't, like, Okay, come stay at

(59:04):
the house and then she's my dogs, Like, he's not
a big farter yet what apparently bulldogs do? But he
snore so loud. So the first night I got through it.
The second night, I woke up halfway through the night
and took him to the room. It was like, I
can't do this again too much. But he snore so loud.
It's a cute. It is. It's cute. If it's if
you only hear this clip right here, it's cute. So

(59:29):
but I did let him sleep in the bed. And
again on my Instagram there's a picture of him just
going bonkers in my house. It was raining, are we
any closer to you getting a girlfriend? Wow? That's a
loaded question. You brought it up. M not ready to
talk about that, I guess not today. Answer well, good answer,

(59:50):
good answer. Here's why I'm not ready to talk about
it because if there was no chance, if I was like, no,
we're nowhere near, I would go don't exactly. But if
there was a good chance, I'll be like, you know,
there's something. It's kind of that purgatory right now, like
there's a I don't even want to say it, but

(01:00:14):
remember the game Buck Hunter, what the deer running game? Yeah,
you know, I don't where are you going with this?
Here we go duck buck And you would see them
out there kind of far on. You would hope that
they would but they were out there and you knew
you could see the actual buck. But what you need
needed to walk toward the screen a little more because

(01:00:35):
you didn't want to because if you shot, like ll
have did, you would run off. So you wouldn't shot
when it was too far away, so you needed it
to walk. But sometimes they didn't. Some as they did.
But you know exactly what you're talking about. But you
didn't shoot at the buck when it was too far
away because you didn't. You didn't want to scare it off,
so you just sat quietly and it was there and
it definitely could and that you could, you know, Prize buck, Amy,
Are you getting all this in You can hear what

(01:00:56):
he's saying. Yeah, I get it. I'm playing buck hunter
right now and there's a buck out there and it's
it's so are away though that I don't want to
shoot at it and go that's it because it gets
scared off. But you like what you see. It's it
looks like it could It looks like it could be
a big buck. Huh. It looks like at least at
ten point. This is good stuff. Yeah, like you know,
pretty pretty widespread a book. So yeah, it's a weird analogy.

(01:01:18):
But I see what he's saying. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Okay,
I'm done in this conversation. But no, but yes, but
no the answers, we're not talking about it. Okay, thank
you for asking it. When you're fishing, here's the thing
right your thumb wrestling with your buddies, right, Yes, And
coming up, we'll talk to nurse Bobo in the next segment.

(01:01:40):
We'll talk to him about the importance of sleep, like
what someone in the medical world really says about sleep,
and also screen time, like should you, you know, be
on your phone right before you go to sleep? Yeah,
I don't know the answers, No, you shouldn't, but like really, why,
Like what's the deal here? I'm tired to read an
internet crap, Like tell me the real deal. So we'll
talk to Nurse Bobo coming up just a second here
on the Bobby Bone Show. Did you know you can

(01:02:02):
text us? Text Bobby that's two six two two nine
to send us a message. Yes. I love these segments.
We bring on Nurse Adam Bobo, who comes on and
to thank you, talks about a lot of the things
happening in our lives that maybe we feel dumb about asking,

(01:02:23):
and I wanted to bring them on and actually talk
about the importance of sleep today. Here he is, nurse
Nurse Bobo is on right now? What up Bobo? Hey?
What's up? Man? Hey? I want to ask you. First
of all, you know, there's so many stories happening about
how much sleep we should be getting per night, Like
what is how many hours of sleep shall we get?
I'd tell people eight to ten um. The reason I

(01:02:43):
based up as eight to ten is there's been enough
research now that shows that eight to ten hours is
really optimal. Is it possible to catch up on sleep
on a weekend? And just like I'm gonna get a
whole bunch of sleep because I missed some sleep during
the week. Uh No, it'll probably make you mentally feel
about her to text up. But it's really about consistency,
not overnight. I mean, sure that one night helps you,

(01:03:05):
but it really doesn't. That lifestyle doesn't benefit you long term.
It's like one all nighter, like people that party or
people that study, like you know, people that study through
the night, or people that are stuck up all night
with a baby. It usually takes around fourteen days to
fully catch up from one all nighter, So I mean

(01:03:27):
you could extrapolate that over a you know, all week
to getting four hours asleep, You're not gonna make it
up on one night, and of getting ten hours asleep
on a weekend. A question that Aimy and I talked
about a bit of screen time, How does screen time
affect your sleep? Well, it's huge in the effect at night,
which is a huge time when people are in front

(01:03:48):
of a screen. So when you're in front of your
screen within about an hour and a half to two
hours before bedtime, you're decreasing your melatonin production by a
good bit melton and really helps you get the sleep.
Stay asleep makes you sleep more effective. It's hormone. But
when you decrease and people take melatonin supplements to sleep better,

(01:04:09):
you know, I know a lot of people to do that,
So it decreases that blue light from phones TVs will
decrease your melatonin, which essentially makes your sleep less quality.
So are you saying that I shouldn't watch TV when
I sleep because I leave it on and I watch
The Office and then I leave it on as I sleep.
But what happens now with Netflix as it goes Are

(01:04:31):
you sure you want to keep watching? And then it
shuts itself down in the middle of the night, which
is great, and then I have dreams after that goes off,
I have dreams. Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. So are you
saying I shouldn't do that? You definitely shouldn't if you
wear the glasses. What if I sleep in those blue
blocker or glasses or whatever. Yeah, yeah, I mean the
blue blocker glasses definitely help. But I would tell you
you should be sleeping in a pitch black room. What

(01:04:53):
about just in general, with all these screens, we need
to take a break with that, Like, well, in the
middle of the day, how many out my phone is
I'm on like seven hours a day. Sometimes being on
your phone over three hours has been shown to alter
your neuroplactifs or create hard wired in um electrical pathways
and ways of thought and ways of like habits, so

(01:05:13):
to speak. That truly can affect your quality of life.
And that's not Instagram and Facebook specific, that's sitting in
front of a phone period. Oh wow. So so you're
saying seven hours probably ain't that good. Probably not good.
My screen time is not good either, you know um.
And then you start to alter like chemical like happy,
euphoric and good feeling back filing things in your brand

(01:05:34):
with your dopamine, like every time you get a direct
message or lights up like that. And I like that.
When I get a message, I'm like, whoa, I get
a little thrill. I like those thrills. Right, Nurse Bobo
is on the dust. Right now, we're talking about the
importance of sleep and getting away from from screens. Let's
end on this, Bobo, give us, give us something about
we need to know about sleep to help us as

(01:05:56):
we walk into the holidays here well as busy. As
I always tell people the easiest way to get better
sleep is to approach sleep the same way you do
your mornings. Most people have a morning routine. You get up,
your shower, you brush the teat breakfast and make a
cup of coffee. You go to work at night. We
don't have routine, and that's the reason it makes it
so much more difficult to go to sleep, or we

(01:06:16):
don't approach sleep the same way we approach work. So
by creating some kind of structure that will definitely help
you a great deal in getting more sleep. It's about
an hour hour and a half before you're actually going
to bed. Just create some kind of routine of this
is what I do every night, and it will make
actually getting to sleep much more efficient and your sleep

(01:06:39):
will over time become more and more quality. So I
should approach sleep like I shoot free throws every little
thing exactly. Give MYLA routine down when I'm at the line, Yeah,
flitting the ball yeah yeah, two dribbles yeah yeah yeah yeah,
and then twist bubbo give up. Give everybody your Instagram
name so they can follow you and find out more
about what you do. Yeah, for sure. Mine is at

(01:07:02):
Adam Bobo. And then I don't want help to want
of company that primarily functions in the IVY world. Is
at Rita Nashville, A r Ete Nashville. Yeah, there he is,
Adam Bobo. Everybody, Yes, thank you very much. All Right, Bobbo,
we'll talk to you soon. All right, sounds good. Missed
any of today's show or just want to listen again,
check out the Bobby Bones Show on demand on the

(01:07:22):
iHeartRadio Whip. Go over and talk to Chris and Virginia. Chris,
what's up dude? Driving home from the office. All right,
So what I'm gonna hit you with here is I
have two categories left in the sixty second showdown. Okay
I heard okay, you heard the girl when she played

(01:07:42):
the cartoon when she did not win. Poor thing? She
was so close. Yeah, yeah, he's a big lesson. Hey,
so close she Okay. I'm gonna give you two categories.
You can have the Bobby Bones Show or US History.
Which one would you like? I want to bomb you
the one of them, So let's go with US History. Okay,
you're gonna bomb US history. Yeah I'm not yet, not

(01:08:06):
so much. The cartoons. I would have killed it, would
do you though? Because everybody calls and things. I'm going
to nail them all. Well, I really want I did
answer them all. Okay, let's try US history. Yeah, Chris, Chris,
what do you do for a livin I'm a project
manager for a commercial construction company. What does that mean?
What do you do all day? Make sure all the

(01:08:29):
stubs are doing the works? Full permits? Do blue friends, X, Y,
and Z. Okay, sounds like a guy knows what he's doing.
Let's give him to US history and see how he does. Okay,
all right, sixty seconds if you get all the ten
questions right? You want one hundred bucks in cash? Could
you use one hundred Hey? Can you give me two seconds?
I'm gonna pull off the road so I'm not driving
all answer, so I can actually think I'd rather you
pull off. Yeah, I'm pulling off right now. Yeah, yeah, No,

(01:08:50):
you're good, take time. I don't have the hands free.
The first thing we preach on this show is safety,
right all right? Amy, Okay, I'm pulling a parking lot
right now. All right, Chris, you have ten and go
whenever you're ready to boss. By the way, morning studio, morning,
Thank you? Do you have a truck put in p
right now? Yes, I'll kind of truck you driving? Yes,

(01:09:11):
I don't know. Sounds pretty fancy to me. No, not
so much. All right, ten questions, rightmund already, all right,
here we go for Chris and Virginia. Question number one,
how many stripes are on the American flag? Twenty? He
missed it, almost said a bad word. We we gotta
quite the run here going right? Pause the time or

(01:09:34):
pause the time or pausit time. Let's go. We're gonna
start over. I needed to also tell him no bad
words about that. No, No, you're good, I mean you
you We're geting to get reasked the first question again.
So you're gonna get to get that one now work,
but you cannot use profanity, okay, Chris, sir? Yes, sir? Okay.
He almost said fifty, then twenty, then said the S
word and then okay, sorry, all right, here we go.

(01:09:59):
Let's start it again. Now you know the first answer,
so answered as soon as you get here we go.
Question number one, how many stripes are on the American flag? Thirteen? Correct?
The attack of Pearl Harbor took place in which month? February? Incorrect?
What are the branch the three branches of government? How
many are there? Correct? What war was fought on American

(01:10:20):
soil from eighteen sixty one to eighteen sixty five Civil War. Correct.
Who is the sixteenth President of the United States? Incorrect?
How many senators are in US Congress? Too many? Incorrect?
You know what, I'll give it to him, all right.
Who is remembered for his large and stylist signature on
the US Decoration Independence? Thomas Jefferson? Incorrect? What famous actor

(01:10:45):
became governor at California in two thousand and three? Correct?
Who wrote the national anthem? Best? That's funny. Now, Malcolm
Little was a civil rights activist known by what name?
Welcome back? That's correct. The attack of Pearl Harbor took

(01:11:05):
place in what month? Okay, gosh, it would have been December, Yeah,
December nineteen. I took the um the branches of government,
and I actually gave you that answer. There's three branches
of How many are there? Yeah? He got that one.
He got Civil War. Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth president.
There are one hundred senators, two per state. John Hancock

(01:11:28):
had the big fancy handwriting. Oh, that's right, Arnol Schwarzenegger.
The national anthem was not written by Betsy Ross, but
instead was written by Francis Scott Key. She listen, listen,
you're just making up, so I listen. Yeah, yeah, Chris,
you know what, you didn't win. I figured as much.

(01:11:49):
I'm glad you pulled over though, well thank you, hey,
but I did have one question though quickly run out
of time. I actually called in to see what the
update was with Morgan number two and the guy from
Santa Barbara. We do we have an update yet Morgan
over two. He's not in town yet? Right, No, no updates?
Did he d M you? You know I haven't checked out?

(01:12:12):
Check that. I'll look all right, Chris, Thanks Bud. Bobby
talks to Dustin Lynch about riding back roads with the ladies. Hypothetically,
just meet a girl and you go, hey, let's go
for a drive and then you just drive into the woods.
Well or just back roads, yes, but but backroads. You

(01:12:33):
don't that sounds cute. No, but I'm gonna lose signal. Yeah,
that's gonna be a total good because I'm like, I
don't know, are you getting out of here? Get on
someone's property and they're gonna come out. Yeah. You know
what's kind of disappointing about Black Friday. This year. What
that most people shop online and there aren't all those
videos of people going just absolutely bonkers at the store.

(01:12:56):
That was really one of the greatest parts of waking
up on Black Friday. People would get hurt, yeah, but
there were just you don't run, don't run, my good memories.
I'm sorry, I just like I'm thankful there wasn't anything
too crazy that happened. And mostly there wasn't things too crazy.
Mostly people didn't get hurt or die. Yeah, and I
remember the good old days. You wake up on Black Friday,

(01:13:19):
get a little hot coco, you go to your computer,
and you watch the news that everybody getting trampled going
into this door, and you would go look at those
idiots fighting over a toy. Yes, now there were still
a couple of nutty stories, but just not as much.
You know, everybody's doing Black Friday on Amazon. Panic hit
one California target after someone shouted there was a shooter.

(01:13:42):
Oh boy, this is anywhere I'm out. Yeah, yeah, terrible,
not funny. The internet took place in Fremont, California, and
pandemon pandemonium and warranted because I wouldn't went nuts too
of somebody else someone shooting when someone else shooter in
the middle of the crowd. One other person who was
present tweeted out that they had to spread out the

(01:14:04):
emergency exit, while others warned to stay clear of the area.
It turned out to be a false alarm or a prank.
They don't know which one. There is a difference too,
by the way. Yeah, if you literally think there's a
shooter and you're wrong, that's a false alarm. If you're
a bad person, a new Yell shooter, that's a prank.
Trying to be funny. But again, not that many crazy

(01:14:27):
Black Friday stories. Yeah, I have one, and there are
a few, So don't don't at me, don't hit me
on Twitter with all the stories, because there are a few.
A man was off with the broken nose after getting
into a fight with another man at a Walmart. Cell
phone video shows the two men, one an act of
marine and the other retired marine, whoa in a physical
altercation in the Christmas gift wrapping aisle. The fight started

(01:14:50):
when one of the men responded rudely to being bumped
by an elderly woman's shopping cart. The other man came
to the woman's defense, and then the fight ensued. A
security guard had to break them up, and neither wanted
the charges against each other. See, this is all we
have now back in the good old days. In the
good old days, even watch people like punching each other

(01:15:11):
for a hoteddy Rocks been like nine people. It was
a bra It was like it was like um like
Survivor series and wrestling. It's like a royal rumble. Yeah,
they even made movies about that. What was that jingle?
All the way? That's it. Kids don't even know. That's
it for today. That's it for today. Amy, what's going on?
I'm speaking of shopping. I mean, that's what I'm gonna do.

(01:15:32):
I'm gonna have a workout planned and then I've got
to kind of get at my computer and I was
gonna do some cyber Monday Cyber Monday shopping or cyber
Monday shopping. Oh yeah, I do. My cyber Monday is different?
Is that the one day year I do cyber sex?
Oh a great cyber Monday. Serious, every Monday is cyber
Monday for me. It was going on today. He's been serious.

(01:15:58):
You mean, that's it And they'll see to Martin, this
is Hollywood week in American Idol so I'm here. We'll

last week of the year for us to shoot idol

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
