Speaker 1 (00:03):
Transmitting welcome back. We got another week? How lucky are
a week?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Why are we lucky?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Do we have a job that we love? Like I
watch arkisas Keiths go to the mill every day again like
that job. So we're here, we got job. We love
the morning, the hours. But all of our listeners listening
now do too. Let's are on the podcast. Then who
needs you?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
You know what I mean? Guys, get to wake up
whenever you want more in studio morning.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
All right, We're gonna get to know here on Monday.
Which of your personality traits are you most proud of?
Which of your personality traits are you most proud of?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Lunchbox? Do you know yours? My awesomeness is that a
personality traite? Sure can be. I would say that would.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Be more of my outgoing confidence that you're going, I'm awesome,
that's the best thing about me. That's pretty confident.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
So I would say, okay, And my confidence is my
best one, because I mean, I believe I can do anything.
I believe I'm better than anybody, and that would be.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Going into their arrogance. But yes, I hear you.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Yeah, I'm like, I'm just confident. I believe in it,
and I don't let people bother me. They can give
me their opinions of me, and guess what, their opinion
don't matter like it.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Huh, what personality Trader are you most proud of? Eddie?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
My humor?

Speaker 5 (01:23):
I like my humor. I think everyone in my family's
kind of funny. Like my dad's brother was a comedian,
and so they're like, yeah, it just kind of runs
in the family that we like to make people laugh.
I get joy out of seeing people laugh at what
I say.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
So I like that Amy.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
I think that he'll go with And I've learned this
a lot about myself recently, especially being a co parent.
But my personality can see the bigger picture and try
to see where the other person's coming from.

Speaker 7 (01:50):
Too, Like I like understand, I.

Speaker 6 (01:52):
Go there easily where I can. I guess I can
kind of be in the gray. Things don't have to
be so black and.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
White, Like you can also understand that maybe you don't understand.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Yes, that's I think too, And I when you this
is just a new part of my life and things
that I'm learning about myself. And I even said that
to been my co parent the other day, where I
was just like I felt like I was really seeing
the bigger picture, and I said, I don't want to
have an inflated view of how I'm handling this, but
I think that I am because I felt at the

(02:24):
time he was being a little black and white, But
then I also had compassion for that's some of his
his how he grew up in his military background, and
so then I gave space for that, and ultimately he
came around that.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
To me feels like the words of someone has put
a lot of work into themselves.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Yes, yes, And that's why it was even hard for
me to admit that to him on the phone, Like
I was like, it sounds like I'm thinking highly myself
by saying this, but actually I think I'm proud of
the patience and the work that I've put into trying
to understand.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I want to say that to him, that you're proud
of yourself, But I mean, still.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
I did it, I said, I think, I said, I
have an inflated few.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
I just wanted him to.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Understand and mine is not going to make sense to
you guys. But if I'm picking what personality trait I'm
most proud of, now you guys are gonna roll your
eyes and be like.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Let's let's see. No, we never, we would never roll on.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I would say, my patience, you don't have hold on
talking about it's gotten I work so hard, Yes, it has.
Shut up because I'm gonna take any of listening to
your mouth. I would say that in general, I have

(03:33):
a bit of an understanding that because I need, want,
desire something to happen now, because I feel like I
should have, doesn't mean everybody else should have the same
feeling I have. I'm still not good at not feeling
like it, but I think outwardly I've become even a
much more patient boss much.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Hold on, we're not doing what we've most improved.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I know it's what you're proud of. You're doing whatever
you want. You don't get to make the rules. The
question is what are you most proud of? My personality
trying I most proud of is patience. I've gotten better
at it. It's not what I'm the best dat I
think that's like tenacity, just showing.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Up what you're quick witted.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Well, okay, but I'm saying if I was most proud
of something, it would just be like yeah, like to
I don't have a talent but I'm not very talent.
I don't quit, but I would say what I'm most
proud of patient, the patients that I've developed in the
past four or five years as a boss.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Still no, just a person. It's still not good, but
it used to be terrible.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I think being married has, like my wife has instilled
a lot of PTO.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
What's that?

Speaker 6 (04:36):
Oh, that's just me saying praise the Lord, because I
think it has since in the world, since you've gotten married,
there's been some healthy changes.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, I don't. I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Right there, you showed patience, right, they're not just jumping out.
I've showed like ignorance. I have no idea what that means. Confused,
mind's paid. I'm not a patient person. Still in a
patient person. I'm very impatient. But patience is what I'm
most proud of now because I've developed a sense of
it that I've never had before.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
I would agree with that.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
It's your view on your personality, man sense you know
he is guys over and kid be patient.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
When I said mine, I think the lunchbox.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Said what the I didn't? I said, I think I
got confused halfway through your speech.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
What would you say the personality trait you're most proud
of yourself?

Speaker 8 (05:20):
Hmmm, I think it would be empathy in my heart.
I have a I have a really I have a
lot of empathy for people in the situations they've been in.

Speaker 9 (05:28):
Also just a really big heart.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
It also is a weird question to answer because it
feels like I'm asking you, like, what are you most
proud of?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
And it feels like you're bright, but I'm begging you
to bry right. So it does feel weird. I don't
feel weird, but I don't mind bragging. I'm aw.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I'm smarter than everyone.

Speaker 10 (05:42):
Hey, yeah, a chameleon. What you can put me wherever
and I'll always fit in. My humor isn't just like
in the studio. See if I went to a lumber mill,
I'd be the funniest dude there. So I say, then humor,
but also everything, work, ethic, whatever, So everything you could
drop me in any environs dominating fit it immediately.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
It I like it. You should be a spy dude,
Maybe he is. What if we dropped you in Asia,
they'd be like, there's a white guy. I don't think
you fit in there.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
He's familiar. Does he want to know our government secrets.
All right, We're good. Everybody good.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
What I don't know, I just I'm sorry I turned
mine into a sorry. I think I was just talking
through like something I've been thinking about.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
You know what your worst trade is you think too
much and you're dwelling on things that you think we are.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Okay, but I don't know why I just didn't answer
it like, oh, I think I've grown in the area
of like.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You know, I have no patience for this. Okay, we're
moving on exactly. Let's open up the mailbag family.

Speaker 9 (06:38):
Name mail and read all the air.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah, hello, Bobby bones.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Lately, my wife and our teenage daughter have been at
each other's throats. I refuse to get in the middle
on I have just tried to be supportive of both.
It seems to being quote Switzerland, isn't all it's cracked
up to be. Now I'm being resented by both of
them because neither of them think I have their backs.
How long can I keep the neutral thing up before

(07:07):
I become the common enemy? Here sided husband, father, trying
to keep the peace.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I don't have kids. I'll remove myself from anybody taking
my real advice.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
But I feel like I'd always have to set to
the president of being on my wife's side just because
But I don't have kids, So Amy, yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
This is something you and your wife I think need
to work through. I don't have the full picture, but
I would say you'll need to figure it out and
then present a united front to your teenager. The teenager
shouldn't feel like she needs you to stick up for
her versus mom, or mom to stick up for.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
Her versus dad. I don't know. I just feel like
that's when it gets really tricky.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I doesn't feel like it's that it's general teenagery that's
making them fight. Yeah, there's not like one issue, so
it's just that age and stage.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Yeah, somehow you need to be able to step up
if if you don't agree with the wife. See's where
it gets tricky, Like maybe if you don't agree with her,
y'all need to settle it on the side, so that
way y'all come up with the united front. That way
you can say, support your wife in front of your daughter,
because I feel like that is going to be the
best as a co parent. I'm not even I'm not married.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Anymore.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
But we're still parenting the same child. And we disagree
about things for sure, but towards the kids, it's still
a united front and we do everything possible to maintain
that because that's just going to be the best for
our family, and I would assume maybe yours too.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
But Eddie, yeah, Amy's exactly right. You and your wife
need to be on the same page. And if you're
not on the same page, Amy's right again, go in
a separate room, make sure you're away from your kids.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Talk about it. Okay, how are we going to present this?
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (08:37):
What is what?

Speaker 5 (08:38):
I If you can't come to the same you need to.
You have to whatever it is, even if you're wrong
about it. You say, you know what, I'm wrong about it.
But if you feel stronger than.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I do, I never do it. It's got to.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
It's got to because you cannot be on your daughter's side.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
That I'm going to be told us right. But if
it's like I'm wrong about it, I'll just act like
I'm wrong. I'll just check out right.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
So then you say, all right, this is then you're
not being supportive and you have to tell your daughter
you know what I'm on our side.

Speaker 7 (09:01):
Now, checking out is the lazy way.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah yeah, yeah. I gotta get to work.

Speaker 7 (09:07):
That's like that's passive.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
You gotta be on the same team.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I gotta get early the morning. So you got to
deal with this peace. Yeah, I agree, unified front right
has to be. Even if we argue, all tend to
feed the dogs. We go in the room, we go
let we feed away from the dogs, seven thirty and
we go back.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
We're like seven thirty.

Speaker 10 (09:24):
It is.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Yeah, we both agree on both agree. Good luck with that.
I bet that's a very common thing.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah, mom versus a teenage girl and dad being like
I don't know what to do because I don't understand or.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Just parents against kids, like oh yeah, all different war. Yeah,
I mean didn't matter, you know, daughter.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Mom.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
It's like even like me sometimes my son and I'm like, man,
I know what he's saying.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I know.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
I was a dude, I know what he's talking about.
Like I was in high school and I was like,
what are you talking about. Let's talk about it separately,
come up with one thing and then we'll present it PowerPoint.
Yeah pretty much, all right, there you go. Good luck
as you hear there is no answer that's right. It's
just be unified in your answer.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
That's an answer.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Yeah, that's the answer.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
There's no answer that's right. Always with the in the fight. No, no, no, no,
it's just the answer is to be unified even if
you're wrong.

Speaker 7 (10:14):
Yeah, right, but you got to get there.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
You don't want to just kid fake it the entire time,
although sometimes I just choose the United Front and then
I call my friends in the dog trushure.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Just kidding. All right, close it out, I did.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
We got your game mail and we ran in on
your and now let's find to close Bobby failed back.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yeah, it's time for the good news.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Like Bobby, if you're a dog guy, if you're a
dog girl, you like this one. So Jason and Julia
have been together for a while and Jason was gonna propose,
and he's like, what do I do? How do I propose?
If I do a boring she's not gonna have a
good story. You wanted to be romantic. And so he
also worked at adoption services, and so there was a

(11:00):
dog named Banjo that had been there forever, and so
he inscribed will you marry me?

Speaker 1 (11:05):
On Banjo's caller?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Nice and had Banjo like follow him and go up
to her say oh, because it was like a stray
bulldog mix. She's like, oh, look at the bulldog. Will
you marry me? She did not think it was Banjo proposing.
She knew it was Jason, and so it.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Was a success. The couple was overcome a join. Then
they both adopted Banjo. That's cool, which is pretty cool.
That's a great story. That's what it's all about. That
was tell me something good. Today is April first, is
April Fol's Day.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
We're not doing any jokes on you. We do jokes

would be livid.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Because this is a bit of neglect by him, for like,
prioritize that dress.

Speaker 11 (18:01):
Yeah, And I just don't, like, I don't understand how
you leave something that big. It's not like it's like
a phone or like a cup of coffee. It's probably
in a huge dress bag. Like, how do you just
not see that and drive off?

Speaker 1 (18:10):
You don't care about it that much. You don't prioritize
that much.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
You said it on top and then open when it's
so big. It's not a cut, it's not a cup,
I know. But the groom doesn't wear the dress him.
It's just like a grocery bag. And the whole reason
you are where you are is because of that dress,
because you wouldn't just go and walk around with that dress. Also,
you went to wherever you were going because of that dress.
Otherwise you wouldn't be carrying that dress around it Happens's
a great point.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
No, it doesn't. Yeah, and it's it makes the news.
It's because it didn't happen. He wasn't supposed to see
the dress. That's why I did karma.

Speaker 9 (18:40):
Yeah, maybe that's the bad luck.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yeah, yeah, so two thousand bucks.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Jeez?

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Do you get insurance on a dress that's not a thing,
is it?

Speaker 9 (18:48):
I don't know. I don't think so I didn't. I
don't have insurance.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Do you have your dress?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
I do?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
And you're getting married when in May?

Speaker 9 (18:55):
So real soon?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah, corner.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
Did you do anything crazy like put yourself like on
a crazy diet or take hair growing pills or anything
where you're like, I'm gonna make sure of my wedding.

Speaker 9 (19:06):
I'm perfect just watching what I eat, but nothing like crazy.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
And you have how many bridesmaids do you have? I
have ten brides mad I know it's a lot. He's
like ten. She's like, I gotta cut it down to ten.
He's like, I gotta have ten?

Speaker 7 (19:20):
Are you gonna have all ten on your side? And
all ten?

Speaker 6 (19:22):
Because the bride when I was one of the ten,
there was she did it five and five on each side,
so we were staggered, Oh, that's.

Speaker 9 (19:29):
A good idea. So I like that idea. We haven't
really discussed yet.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Purely with them.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Yeah, four three two one, and they all do the
parent where they're on their kneath, so that's a lot.
I saw a note on my desk and it says
Bobby Bones and wife and it's an invitation from Lauren.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I'm assuming to her wedding.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
I haven't opened mind up either.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Did you invite the everybody?

Speaker 11 (19:49):
I invited everyone. I wanted to be polite include everyone.
You don't have to do that, but I wanted to,
and I want everyone to know. I don't feel I
hope no one feels any obligation to go, Like. I
will not be offended, I won't be upset. I just
wanted to extend the invite. I would love everyone to
be there. If you can't come, I'm not going to
take a personal and be like okay, like I.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Totally get it, and uh wait, do you feel a
pressure that we feel a pressure? No, you should feel
like you don't have to invite us.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
You're still polite if you didn't invite us, though.

Speaker 11 (20:16):
Of course would love for everyone to be there. It's
a celebration. And I see you guys almost every day.
I would love for everyone to be there, but I'm
not going to be upset if like someone can't come, well,
we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Cost you money.

Speaker 9 (20:27):
So this is what the thing is.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
We are no no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 9 (20:32):
We guys write also like a package.

Speaker 11 (20:34):
So it was like between one point fifty and like
two hundred people and then we had enough open spots,
so so we got the leftover spots.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Yes, because what it is if we just got this
invitation and we're supposed to RSVP in the next week.
So basically it's saying, hey, we waited until we got
r s vps from enough people, saying okay, it's podcast.

Speaker 9 (20:56):
You guys on a short list.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
I thought she was using us for clout because she
was trying to say, hey, you guys come so I
can tell my friends.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
The Bible is.

Speaker 9 (21:05):
Definitely not that. I know, Lunchbox, you think everything's about you,
but it's not that.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Let me ask you this, though you want to give
a speech, are you concerned Lauren, that like a celebrity
like Lunchbox is going to be there.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Maybe take the attention off of you on your wedding day?

Speaker 11 (21:18):
You know, I haven't thought about that, because we all
know how Lunchbox loves to just think. Yeah, I think
he's the center of attention. But you know, I'm not
too concerned about it to be honesty.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
So who can go like, did Morgan get a plus one?
Or is it just Morgan? You realize? Oh, whoa, it's
not a good weekend, man, that is a bad weekend. Arkansas,
No a CM Awards. I gotta go. I'm part of
the broadcast.

Speaker 7 (21:45):
Oh we're all nominated for an award.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Oh no, we're all going to be We're all going
to be there in Dallas. I don't know they're all
going to be there. Wrong, I'm supposed to be part
of the show.

Speaker 7 (21:53):
We've gone to Vegas to get to accept the ACM.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
We don't even have won the award, be nominated. You
don't just go, haven't won the award. You're acting like
we already we don't win. Amy just jinks it you
guys me you just heard.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
It's like when Eddie text me two minutes left in
the game, good win and then we lose.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Amy just did that to us.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
I didn't got a question.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
It's gonna win, react, Ray, I'm just glad I wasn't
the one that jinks wow.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Wow, Okay, I honestly am starting to feel like wow.
Lately it doesn't appear as though I do much exactly.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Get back Okay, Lauren, Okay, I will. I will not
be in town. I'm very sorry.

Speaker 9 (22:37):
That's yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
I have to. I'm a part of the show. So no,
it's not that you don't go to Dallas if you
don't win the award, and you don't even go if
you do win.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Sometimes, Hey, but Bobby, you still get a gift, right,
I'll get our gifts.

Speaker 9 (22:53):
You don't even have to do that.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
I'm done.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Are you registered anywhere?

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Lauren?

Speaker 9 (22:57):
Yea, and everything everything is up there.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
But yeah, hey, Scoob, but when will we know that
we didn't win? Usually it's usually right now, but it's
usually mid April. I believe we find out.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Okay, well, some time, I regardless of even once we lose,
I will be in Texas.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
I'm very sorry.

Speaker 9 (23:15):
I totally understand you want to get it, and then.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Who can go? Anybody want to commit now? I mean,
I'll be in San Francisco. I apologize. I don't thank
you for the invite? Is a special ready did you
get about it.

Speaker 10 (23:26):
If it's mid week, I can't go weekend, it's midday,
it's a Saturday.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I can probably go. You can probably go. You're not
even committing. I just don't know. My wife has her calendars.
Got I got it? Got it you guys.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, I gotta check with the wife. I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Do you want to go?

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeah? I would love to go.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Se a plus one for them, Yeah yeah, I mean
I Bobby's out. I can bring two of my kids.
One person will be out.

Speaker 11 (23:46):
There's no kids, no kid is it? Open bar, open bar,
twelve piece live band.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
Man.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
She's got some expensive stuff on this registry. Oh you
want it? Yeah? She wants a dice in cool per
purifying fan.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yeah, but that's probably like the most expensive. Probably you
probably clicked so you can rub it, rubbing in her face.
I literally clicked on the thing is cheapest put in
for those towns. She wants us to buy a new
house for house. It's a house, buy me a house. No,
I don't think she wants a hell. I think she
wants a fun buy this stuff, and she put the

(24:25):
actual house on the it's more it's marked our top choice.

Speaker 9 (24:31):
That is our top choice. We just want like, we
just want money. We plan on buying a house after
the wedding.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
It's much easier, which give me money.

Speaker 9 (24:37):
Please just do that. Yeah, yeah, it's not.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
The point is actually buy that house. I'm looking on
Zillow right now. It says estimate seven hundred for this
house thousand. It's not the house, it's the picture of
the house. I don't have that kind of money. Oh
my god. Okay, okay, marriage is great. You think a
marriage wedding, Well, you know, the marriage is great. The
wedding is gonna be a disaster, but that's all great.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
The lottery drawing for the numbers nine nine nine nine hit,
I wouldn't even pick those numbers. No, Like, if I
were picking, I'll be like, there's no way it's gonna happen.
Three hundred and sixty six tickets won when the numbers
nine nine nine nine hit. A total eight hundred and
seventy thousand dollars in prizes are being distributed to three
hundred and sixty six winners.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
So that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yeah, you still won a bunch that split, but you
gotta split that three hundred and sixty six ways.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
I didn't know that you can have multiple numbers of
the same numbers on the lot.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
It's like a pick three or something forty nine nine
nine nine nine nine, right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Whatever, you have one of those ones where you can
it's like the numbers are zero through nine or one
through nine.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Those can repeat.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Yes, where the power ball once it comes out, it
can't come back out because it's the same bucket.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Basic like a pile of stories.

Speaker 7 (25:54):
Guess what our life expectancy is on the rise.

Speaker 6 (25:57):
We're headed in the right direction because it had gone down,
but now we're expected to live a little bit longer.
The average age of seventy seven and a half years old. Now, women,
we're gonna win. We're going to live longer.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
It's a conversation with my wife and I because I
am almost twelve years older than her, and she's like,
I'm already going to live to a later life number
than you, just based on data.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Plus you're already a lot older, so I could die
it in time.

Speaker 6 (26:25):
Yeah, women are at eighty point two years for life
expectancy and men are at seventy four point eight.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
So let's say die seventy four, so that's basically thirty
years oh, man, I die in thirty I die in
thirty years.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
And then she's got another like fifty.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Yeah, so she can get married again over my dead
body whole of their life.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Yeah, I guess she do.

Speaker 7 (26:46):
Y'all ever talk about that? Like, would you be okay
with it?

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, no problem. Just don't he get kissing them of money?
Would she does?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
She would she be okay with Like she want to
get married to someone else?

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Well, I don't think she wants to because she wants
me to die. Well, my wife tells me like, I
will not marry anyone. Yeah, but because she can tell
you that cause you're not gonna be alive whenever says that, Yeah,
that's messed up. I would just want her to be
happy over my dead body.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yes, okay, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (27:13):
So it's the end of an era for gum.

Speaker 6 (27:15):
Apparently nobody's really chewing it anymore or as much as
we used to. And there's a few reasons why it's
been in decline. Obviously COVID it went down, but then
it just hasn't caught back up like other things have.
So there's a trend of limiting sugar and eating foods
with better ingredients and even sugar free gum has artificial.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
Stuff that people are like, I don't know that I
want to put that in my body.

Speaker 6 (27:35):
And some people are concerned about I guess the litter
from gum, Like how seeing it everywhere, disgusting.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
It and sitting it out, you throw it?

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Ou let's say, throw it in the yard. Decomposable liman
does it? Or does it because it doesn't sit for
seven years. It doesn't sit in your stomach for seven years.
And I'm saying, Morgan, do you know about this?

Speaker 9 (27:54):
I don't think it decomposes.

Speaker 8 (27:55):
The thing that I learned is if you throw it
out the window, birds are typically the ones to pick
it up, and they get stuck in their beaks and
it kills them.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
I'm talking about us. How long will it be forget
the bird? How long will it be sitting in the
yard if you just leave it? Okay?

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Well, I'm glad Morgan said that because I had no
idea that that was the thing, and that's you can
just save the birds words.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
Well, sure, no, it probably smells good.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Or if you do, do make sure it's like hub
above and you leave a little bit of flavor now,
so at least they can have a little something.

Speaker 6 (28:24):
And then another reason is because of inflated prices, like
people just don't want to spend.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Money of gum. Gum gum's gone up or no, yes,
lusch Buck's like something up. Yeah, he's coming, he says,
chest is puffed out. This is crazy. Glad for it
to decompose on the ground.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
There has been in depth research and they think it
takes between five to one thousand years.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Well that's a big spectrum. Have one thousand they like,
they have no idea and they just made it up.
I don't know, Chuck, write this between one day and
one million days.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I'm sorry, there is you have to be in depth research.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
But they said, well that's if they're a big the
current understanding, I mean, let's oh.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
No, not check.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
The estimate comes from our current understanding of synthetic plastic
and rubber, and that is what gum is like.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
And it's five to one thousand years when you throw
it on the ground. That's a difference in that. So
five years to decompose, that's a long time.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
Just throwing the trash can man and Amy said, inflation,
my son, we went to the grocery, even the trash.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
If he's spending dump. It's still gonna be in a place.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but you can save the birds.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Forget the birds.

Speaker 7 (29:28):
Well what about Eddie Son?

Speaker 5 (29:30):
Yeah, so he had a dollar and I said, you
can buy whatever you want in the grocery store for
a dollar.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
He can find a single thing. Nothing was under it all,
not even gum.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Surely like a single laffy taffy. No, man, it's crazy. Nothing.
They didn't have single laffy taffies.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
The cheapest was nine to nine cents, but when taxi
he couldn't afford it.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Yeah, and according to eco Freak, it says about five
hundred years to decompose and it is very bad for
the environment.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Eighty to ninety percent of gum is not disposed of properly.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
I just keep thinking, have red solo cup is not disposable,
and you, my friend, don't have anyone else.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
Okay, So mom fluencers who glamorize motherhood or making new
moms feel really insecure just because a lot of times
they're posting their happy kids. They always have their hair
and their makeup done and their house is clean. But
just remember that's not reality. But a lot of people
are watching the content and then they're like feeling depressed

(30:28):
about how they mother, or how their house looks, or
what their life is like or what they look like.
Just another reminder to not compare yourself to someone who's
doing that on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Yeah, I mean, didn't we see that lady that just
did that and she went to prison. She was the
mommy blogger that was all about oh Frankie.

Speaker 7 (30:45):
So she was popular on YouTube.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
There's now a special like I think who twenty twenty
has a special or whatever. I was watching it because
she got arrested last year, and it was wild. She
had all kinds of mom tips on YouTube and she
I think she had like two million followers on YouTube,
and she was giving advice to other parents on how
to parent and then yet on the side she was abusive.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
To her kids.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
The twenty twenty thing, it's just wild. Did you want
to watch it? It's clips of the twenty I don't
want who watched the twenty twenty all?

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Oh? I did, but I watched clips of that twenty
twenty thing, and because it was on social media awful.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
I don't even know.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
I don't even know there is I just saw the
story and I saw the kid walk up to like
he snuck out. He broke out, and he went to
a neighbor's garage who was in his garage. He was like,
can you do me two things? Can you give me
something to eat? And can you take me to the
police station.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Which this kid's gonna beat and it's gonna have so
much trauma forever.

Speaker 7 (31:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
The crazy part is is the person she was in
partnership with, so she was like a mom influencer or whatever,
giving mommy advice on YouTube. But then she partnered with
a therapist and the therapist was bad too. They were
at the therapist's house and the kids were being abused there.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
I'm gon talk about anymore. It may feel suffer unomfortable
this early in the morning. Later yeah, well in an hour.
Ye don't believe what you see on Instagram. That's good,
that's good. I don't like it.

Speaker 6 (32:05):
Well, my final point was it was really part of
that that stood out to me was a woman, an
adult woman now came out and said, I told everybody
years ago, this therapist woman is like her aunt or something.

Speaker 9 (32:17):
She was doing this stuff.

Speaker 7 (32:18):
She did it to me. It's bad and like a.

Speaker 6 (32:21):
Lot of times, people don't feel heard and then twenty
years later, it's like, oh, okay, so just try to
listen to people and hear them investigate.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
It was like Tom, something bad, all right? Amy, that
is I'm Amy.

Speaker 9 (32:33):
That's my podcast.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
That was Amy's pile of stories.

Speaker 7 (32:36):
It's time for the good news produce already.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
Ever since he was a young child, Joseph has dreamed
of owning a Ford Mustang. He loves cars, but he
always wanted that Mustang. Well, eleven years old, Joseph found
out that they had bone cancer and after years of treatment,
it spread to his lungs and he was just given
a month to live. Joseph is eighteen years old. Oh wow, Yeah,
he's fought and fought. He's eighteen years old now. And

(33:06):
his dad said, you know what, Joseph, I'm gonna buy
you that Mustang. So he bought him a twenty twenty Mustang.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
And that's not it. They put it on social.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
Media and the CEO for the Ford company found out
and he said, I'm gonna send Joseph to racing school.
So now Joseph is on his way to racing school.
He's gonna have drivers instruct him how to race on
a race track. And he's gonna be able to drive
the dark Horse, which is a souped up Mustang, and
he can drive on a track.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
I love all that, but I mean you got me
at the beginning. He's like, only a month to live,
and I thought it was gonna be one of those
for a whole month. He got to live it out.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
No, man, he's eighteen and he's going strong. So and
his dad's like, you know what, man, we're gonna live
hard right now. So there's your Mustang.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Great story. That is what it's all about. That was
telling me something good.
