Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hello, welcome to Monday's show. Good morning studio. Well, Cole
Swindell is gonna be in on like fifteen minutes, so
since with a big star coming in, we're gonna go
ahead and do the mailbag right now. So open up
the mailbag, Ray Ye, it's something we call Bobby's mail
bag year. Hello, Bobby Bones, my two best friends and
(00:32):
are going to Europe on the couple's trip of a lifetime.
It's happening at the end of summer. Our friend, let's
call her Julie, has been single for quite some time,
but just recently began dating this guy. Now she wants
to change her ticket and bring him along, and it
being a couple's trip, we honestly don't know what to
say to her. We hate the guy. He's got a
(00:53):
terrible sense of humor, is narcissistic. Worst of all, every
red flag in the book points to her being the
other woman. She's considering or at least talking about, marrying
this guy, and we don't know how to tell Julie
she's making the biggest mistake of her life and we
don't want him to run our vacation. Every time we
tried tactfully to mention this that maybe she shouldn't change
(01:14):
her ticket. She blows up and thinks we aren't supporting her.
Please help? How do I keep my friends and also
not run my first trip out of America that I've
been planning for years? Signed memes? It's interesting. I guess
it's a couple of strip It sounds like they're two
couples and one spare. Yeah does that sound like to
you guys? What's coming? Okay? I think you have to
let him come. I know, yes, you have to either
(01:39):
let him come and let her experience it, and you
either a you'll understand why he's actually a good guy
and you've had these thoughts and you're wrong, could go
that way, or you're really right and this could prove that.
But it's just tough to go. You can't bring along
somebody that you care about on a trip that you're
(02:00):
paying for yourself coming along with us. It's a dicey situation.
It's not comfortable, but you just can't say if you
were paying for her trip, it would be different. Absolutely,
she is a grown a adult and she's paying for
a trip and she's coming along. You have got to
be a friend. And sometimes I know I know. Just
the part it sticks out to me is like, ah,
I don't want this to ruin my trip, and sometimes friends,
(02:23):
you maybe have to set it's okay to set a
boundary and not want to ruin your trip and be like, hey,
you don't have to hang out the whole time. I'd
love for you to come, but it's literally a couple's trip.
It was said that, right, and now that she has
a couple, you have to embrace your friend's couple. Yeah, okay,
And possibly this could be the thing that allows you
to accept and understand him. It may not be. It
(02:44):
maybe the opposite to be open to that. It's just unfortunate.
It's happening at a time where you're really looking forward
to this experience. Okay, I'm not saying this is easy,
but I'm saying, as a good friend, this is the
opportunity to be that good friend, welcome and then discover
after that you've brought me to your side. Oh I
don't need to do that, but just what I would do.
(03:08):
That's always your plan is to bring people to your side.
But I think that now that he's going, because if
if the listener allows him to go, then you be welcoming.
Don't be like, oh, I hope this trip she finally
learns all the bread flags and that he's awful. Go
into it with positivity and then don't get don't get
(03:29):
too attached to the situation where you think it's your
responsibility to make sure she knows how bad he is.
Like that is her decision, her problem, and don't let
it ruin your trip. Yes, they will be with you,
but there you can go do things without both couples.
You want be on a high vibe. Okay, thank you, Amy,
all right, thank you for that email. If you want
(03:49):
to email us, you want to send us a question
about anything you can Morgan, what do they do? Mailbag

Thank you so much, in a while, I'm gonna play
a little something and talk about it specifically in a second.
I do have a gift for you, really, yes, Okay,
the longstanding tradition here on this show. Nah, this is
(04:33):
the shirt show. We know. We're passing it back and
forth every time call I told him, every time he
comes in, we passed the Crook and Chase shirt back
and forth. That's great. This is one of my favorite
retro shirts that you gave him. Yeah, and I loved
it so much. I'm now returning it to you. Thank you,
And the next time you come in in a few months,
you bring it back and we'll get our wears all right.
Here we go a gift recalls love it a gift
(04:57):
that he gave me. Nothing says friendship like that. Everything good.
That's good man. Yeah. The new records out, it's called stereotype.
And I was thinking about, you know why people name records,
and you know, a lot of times it's after a
song that they feel means something on the record, and
sometimes it's also a sort of way of going, hey,
this is me, So what do you think the stereotype
is about you? That isn't true, man, that's a tough question.
(05:21):
I wish I knew that answer, but I think for me,
it's probably just how my career started. I think a
lot of people, you know, I moved to town, and
a lot of it's been said many times. I know,
I sold T shirts and did what I had to do,
but I just wanted to be around the music and
I wanted to be a songwriter first. And I just
think that everybody's always going to look at it as
overnight success, but there was a lot of years where
(05:43):
I wrote a lot of crappy songs and a lot
of you know, it was just tough and not knowing
if I was gonna make it. And I think, you know,
you come out with a fun first song, and then
people think that's all you are is the chilling it
comes out, people are right, he must see the chilling
it fun guys, exactly. And I think that's what the
point I'm trying to make is just maybe at some point,
but those kind of songs have allowed me to release
songs like you should be here, break Up in the end.
(06:04):
The other side of things I get to think about too.
So I just feel like I and a lot of
artists are just people in general. Are stereotype. I just
think that it was. I love the title, I love
that song, but also I think it had a little
deeper meaning for me too. So I want them to
know that there's a song for everybody on this album.
I hope you know I made a pact with you.
I think three appearances ago where I was said I
(06:26):
would never bring up the T shirt thing again, Nor
am I now don't? Yeah, because I knew that would
irritate me. That every interview all went into they were like, hey,
it's like, I'm not gonna say it again right now.
That's fine, let's move on. And so what do you
stereotype me? Let's do that. What do you think you
can give a stereotype you think people have that you
know is or isn't true. Let me give me a
(06:47):
little something here. Stereotype me in any way whatsoever. I
don't it can be my boyish good looks. You think
that it can go ahead? Yeah? I mean I think
you're a pretty big deal, and I don't know people
that don't know you that what a good dude you are.
And to me, I mean, you've been off supported me
from day one, so I don't really I mean I
know you're a big artist. No, I'm not good at that.
(07:10):
That's not even fair. Cole Swindella is here, He's got
a whole whole new album. I actually want to play
one of the songs full right now if you don't mind. Yeah,
whichut you shouldn't because I'm gonna really promote the head
Thank you. Yeah, I want to play she had me
at heads Carolina, Okay, And when I listened to it,
obviously I was struck by it because wanted the super
catchy song and two heads Carolina. You definitely hear that
(07:30):
in the song. Absolutely, tell me about why you picked it,
like what the situation was with this song in general? Yeah,
And that's the you know, the first thing when I
talk about this song, I want people to know that
how much I love the original song and Joe d.
Massino of just not just that song, all of all
of her stuff, you know. But you know, I think
when we picked that one, my first thing was we
(07:52):
got to reach out to the songwriters, Tim Nichols, Mark Sanders.
I wanted them to know that what our idea was,
and me and Thomas Fred had talked about this last
year on tour, or like what if we took a
nineties country song and just kind of put a spin
on it. But obviously we got to get all the
the okays and the blessings from the original folks, and
so that was our first step was knowing the songwriters.
We had their blessing. They were excited about it that
(08:13):
we had picked album because I think out of a
lot of nineties country songs we love, I don't think
anybody would have thought we'd have done that one. And
to do a song that I feel like so many
people have probably got up karaoke and sang and just
put a spin on it about just falling for a
girl that got up and was singing some j D
messina as a little different angle. But I'm you know,
I'm just glad us out there for me. The few
(08:34):
people that have heard it of it's just the one
they go to because it takes you back. I think
it does from the very first note. It is that
guitar lick. It is the song. But I reached out
to Joe D and just let her know what a
fan I was and how much I appreciated the original
and if she ever wants to be a part of
it in any way that I certainly wanted to be so.
So from his new album Stereotype, which is out now,
(08:55):
and here's the writing credits on this, it is like
an all star type So it's coal Ashley Gorley, who
has I think more number one than anybody else in
the history of the country music Jesse Frasier, Thomas Rhett
and then the two original songwriters. That's pretty cool, man. Yeah,

is out now. And you know, just thinking about you
as a kid, I didn't know you were such a
good football player until I guess i'd seen you post
(09:37):
some throwback pictures. How good of a ballplayer were you?
Because you were all you were? You were an award
winning football player. I mean, yeah, I was All State,
but I also graduated with twenty three people. But fair enough,
I graduate with same them out right, you still gotta
be really good to be All States. But yeah, no,
I mean, that's all I did grow playing sports. I
always love music, but I was just always on a
(09:58):
ball field, and after one sport ended, it was the next,
and uh, you know, baseball was my first love. That basketball,
then football came probably in high school. And uh, it's
just I'm thankful though, because when I got to college
and a lot of the friends I made they were
all state but in like huge public schools, and it's
just like, man, I better not talk about my high
school career too much, but it's I just I wouldn't
(10:19):
have changed that because I got to experience everything. I
played every sport I could play, and I think it, uh,
you know, you learn a lot through that, the winning,
the losing, and the uh it's you know, I'm just
gotta ended up in music. So what was the name
or what was you say? Class? Twenty five kids? And
what class? Because I was single A. Yeah, we were
GISA double A and when I was there, but that
(10:41):
goes up and down. It's gone down to single A
since I've left and been up to triple A. So
it's just I think that kind of changes. But with
twenty five kids roughly in your class, where did you
kind of fall when you graduated in Like, what where
were you in the rank? Uh? Right around passing? That's
what I just, I don't know. School was never my jen.
I mean I don't I don't even know where I was.
I just know I got out of there and got
(11:02):
to Georgia Southern. But it, honestly, I don't know. I
was kind of a crastinator where I would wait to
have to ace the finals to get there, and I
could do that, So it's a shame that I didn't
probably apply myself better, but it was. I was all
about sports back then, and you know that's why I
left Georgia southerns to get in the music I knew.
I just school just wasn't wasn't for me. Did you
(11:23):
study music at Georgia Southern. Did you go to Georgia
Southern and you start doing music? Now, that's what That's
kind of where I fell and started playing the bars
there and just really loving being on stage. But I
was a marketing major, and you know, I still think
some of the things, I don't remember a whole lot
of what I learned, but I just feel like those
kind of classes of the business stuff, there is a
business side of this, and you know. I'd like to
think I learned a few things there, but I did
(11:44):
learn a lot just playing shows, and that's where I
found out what I really loved to do and wanted
to be a songwriter by the time I left Georgia Southern.
I do want to play Stereotype a little the first song,
and then I have a reason to play. But the
album is named Stereotype. Here's track one from Cole's album.
(12:12):
So that was written with Jordan Schmidt, Michael Hardy, who's Hardy,
and you and Um. I wanted to bring that up
because I was talking too Hardy a couple of days ago.
And yeah, so he was in here and I was
talking to him. We were texting back and forth because
he was listening to the show and they had this
segment where Lunchbox has his haunted doll. He's out of
his house for a week and he is like, he
believes he was haunted at one point and he believes
(12:33):
he they had to do with some sage and get
get all these spirits away from him. And so I
ask you, do you believe that things can be haunted? Wow?
I mean I don't. I don't. I hadn't had an
experience like that. Ever seen a ghost? You ever seen
the ghosts? Now? I have it. But that's something. Do
you believe it? You believe in aliens? I just kind
(12:56):
of have to unless we're talking about faith or so.
I just kind of have a big foot. I mean,
come on, I don't know. I mean, I just what
do y'all think? Y'all think things are? I mean, obviously
things are. We talk about this for hours and hours
a day. Right, it's rare that we get in freaking
Cole Swindell and we get his opinions on things. Well,
I don't want to get things to start haunting because
(13:17):
I don't believe it's real. But I don't know. I
don't want to miss I don't believe it's real, but
I don't want to mess with it, right, I don't either. No,
I certainly would not want to do that. In ghost
I mean I think they're interesting. I love you know
you've never seen TV, but no, I've never not that
I know of. No, what about angels? I do believe
in that. Okay, so there is a speed I do.
I really do think That's what I'm saying. There's things that,
(13:40):
um that happened in life. That I think that. You know,
I'm just glad I do believe in that because it's
I just there's no explanation. I mean, just moments in life.
I think I saw you said something about a year
after your dad. I think you said that something happened
to the year birds. She believes her parents are birds. No, well,
I just know, well my dad used a blue jay
to to say high to me. Yeah, and that's what
(14:01):
I'm saying. And some people might be like, come on,
but that's the fun and that, you know, it's just
like for me. But when you go through that, I
think you you look for a little things like that
and it's almost like they're just you might not ever
paid attention to, but it's like they're everywhere. And if
you don't take that and try to just know that, hey, um,
you know, I think they're they're saying, hey, I sure
would want to send somebody a sign if I left
too soon. So I I do. I do believe in that, sir.
(14:23):
I love the romantic idea of that. But I would
like to tell another amy story, just seeking kind of
put it all in a box. She was walking down
the street. There was a guy doing like a billboard sign,
putting letters up like for example, you know Wendy's has
Hey come by the burgersense? Yeah, so she was under
a guy doing that and the letters in O fel
and she's like, that just told me not to do
something in my life. But she based her hold like
I had just been contemplating it and the letters in
(14:47):
and oh, I mean, how do you not? Yeah, I'm
more on that side of things. It's just hard not
I'm like, man, maybe that's the sign and maybe I
overthink things, but that's that's what we'll do super successful
culse one. Dell's on my side well and he's not
on mine, and how do I Yeah, and Cole, we
should address them back. Do you even? You seem to
know a lot about the show if you follow along.
Did you know that every time that there's a celebrity
(15:09):
scam online, Bobby mentioned journey, Oh, I don't get it.
Imagine we do something about that, right, And that's what
I think. Colstwindell is not messaging you asking from gift
cards your money. Oh and I'm not dating that. I
mean my girlfriend's message of just hate mail. I'm like,
what did they really think they're talking to me? That's scary.
I mean, it's it's sad and not just I wish
we could figure out something to do about that, because
(15:30):
it really does feel like I have more than anybody.
And I'm like, why is it? Because I try to
reach out to people and they think that they're gonna
believe it's me or what. Well, you do ask a
lot of fans for gift cards, so they think does that? Yeah,
I mean that's but you do trying to get out
of you and ignoring the amount of people that fake
as you. And it's often my reference like Colstwindella is
(15:50):
not messaging you, well, thank you for taking up from
It's just because you certainly don't want people getting fooled
like that. But okay, so wait, there's people being Cole
Swindell and it's asking for gift cards. But there's also
people being you dating other dating No this, I'm just
saying people that think they've been dating me and like
just telling me that for courting me to back off.
(16:10):
Just hateful stuff. Yeah, God, same thing, and I wanted
to we don't have to talk about now. That's whatever
I want you to know, like what you do about
that stuff because it's not That's one of the reasons
I think I've been private about things when I am
dating people, because it's just I don't know how hateful
people can be, and I know y'all deal with the
same thing, so for me, I just don't know what
you do with it. I feel like it's kind of
(16:31):
stopped a little bit now that people think it's not
all a scam that I'm dating somebody else. I don't know,
so it's rough at first. Yeah, it was rough for
us at first because she was my wife, entered into
a world that she didn't quite know what. I didn't
but I didn't either. I didn't either. I didn't know
what I mean, people were gonna be to her. And
then it's like, you know, Bobby was here with me
and I was like, so then it was just proving
(16:53):
them wrong over and over again. Not that she even
believed it, but it's like this. Then it was this
is going to happen and it's not ever true, but
we can talk about it anytime you want. Yeah, that's
another artist has come to me and said, hey, I
know you're dealing with and they're dealing with it. Or
someone photoshopped this artist head perfectly onto a naked dude's body.
Oh yeah, yeah, and they were like, hey, so your
(17:16):
your husband sent me this picture and she was like,
he doesn't have that slight birthmark on and that's how
she knew. But that's the lengths people will go to. Oh,
I mean, they photoshop passports of my like whatever it
may be. But that's just absolutely. Uh. I don't know.
I hate anybody has to go through it, but I
think now that just seeing how it bothers people, it's uh,
it's something that needs to be done about other things,
(17:37):
and it does make you value privacy a little more.
It did for me as someone who was not private
at all, but now that I have someone in my
life that I don't want them to be so available.
Absolutely I've always felt like that, but now you know,
I am happy and I don't mind putting it out there.
But it's like we already you know, try not to
focus on the two negative comments out of hundreds of posit,
(17:59):
but it's just it's hard to do. We're human, and
to see it affect somebody else you care about, that's
what it really When they can dog me all day,
but it's it's different when they're doing doing that stuff.
So I just wanted to I don't know how I've
always wanted to ask you what you were, what you
did about that. But I think it has gotten better.
I think people realize, like, when we're not gonna mess
this up so some movie with somebody else, we get
(18:19):
listeners like I gave two thousand bucks to this artist,
and I'm like, so here's the idea. Creatively. I don't
know if you've heard, but um Eddie and I have
this little this little duo that's been moderately successful in
the comedy world called The Raging Idiot. Just missed. Joe
in Florida did same, same festival. We're opening it for
Garth oh Dudere and Razorback Stadium April twenty third. If
(18:39):
you want to come out all right, yeah, but here's
here's the situation. Yeah, we write a song called blue Check,
a funny song. Yeah, and it's all about that and
don't trust people without the blue check and what they
asked for. And if it meets the criteria of you
thinking it's funny, maybe you do a little collab with
us like John Party did. We can't say that in
(19:00):
the country song I would love to. I mean there's nothing.
There's no more important issue I want to deal with
than I love that idea. Hey, one real question, like
seriously is like with the album, why did it take
so long to put out Stereotype? Because it felt like
it was a long time. Yeah, And I think, um,
you know, people have been waiting. I've been waiting, and
I obviously with the pandemic, a lot of things were
(19:23):
put on hold, and that includes me making an album,
but also without all the time on the road doing shows, Um,
I had time to just focus on writing more. And
I think I don't know if I was personally in
a rud. I was confused of wondering if we'd ever
get back to touring and doing all that stuff. But
I also took a look at the songs I had
and realized that there were friends of mine and other
(19:44):
artists I respected putting out of music and I just
didn't feel that way about the songs I had yet,
and whether that was the production or the actual songs,
whatever it was. So I just wanted to take a
chance and you know, work with some different people. There's
so many talented people in this business, and my Michael Carter,
obviously we've done everything I've done together and I would
not be where I am without him, But he still
(20:05):
did single Saturday Night, and then I also got to
work with Zach Crowell, got to work with Jordan Schmidt
and Chris Lacourt, who I'm all fans of them. So
I think that's what makes this album a little different.
I was able to do songs like I'm Gonna Let
Her and Walk on Whiskey that are more stripped down
and kind of what I wanted to do, but then
also have the tempo of the fun stuff too, so
(20:25):
that kind of put things on hold. Yeah, you and
Laney will be performing the single now Yes at CMT
Music Awards coming up this week April eleventh on CBS,
and then you're up for a Video of the Year
as well. So hey, great and early call by you
guys to get Laney on because she's blown up since
like you, you nailed it and then she blew up. Yeah,
but I mean I think we you know, I was
already a fan of her debut album, but it was
(20:46):
I think her first thing, you know, things a man
ought to know with top ten and just the timing
of everything. But now getting to know her and just
I don't know. I couldn't. I can't imagine anybody else
singing that song. So I'm most huge Lanney Wilson fan.
I'm just happy for everything's going or always said that
from the beginning that I think this song is going
to do big thanks for both of us, and that's
that's how it should be. So the new album is out.
(21:07):
It is called Stereotype. Cole is passing me a note.
It says, do you have any gift cards? No, I
don't have an Apple gift cards, but I ask me
on Instagram and I'll hook you up over there. I'll
your message from what Yeah, Okay, Cole, You're just a
massive success, ten number ones as an artist and many anymore.
You write like crazy. You're just one of the real
creatives and I appreciate you for that. And that's it.
(21:29):
Good luck. I hope you won all the awards. I
hope you sell it all the shows. What you do
have much shows coming up? Yes, we get tickets at
Cole Swindell dot com. He's got starting April nineteenth all
the way until October eighth on the books right now.
So wherever you are, Cole's probably gonna be near. You
go to Cole Swindell dot com. Cool, thank you, thank you,
good talk to you, thank you all for having me,
and we'll see you soon. There is everybody. It's time
(21:53):
for the good news. Bobby Good Lunchbox. We said you
can make the news. Just go hand out a few
bucks to people pumping gas. Yeah, and you were like, oh,
I don't want Well how do I spend that money?
Where do I get it? We're like, well, if you
want to make if you want to make the news,
and you should use your money. And you're like, we're
give me the show card. Well, then then the show
(22:14):
would make the news. It wouldn't be you. Yeah, you
know the police Department California, Oceanside PD. They were giving
people fifty bucks for gas sitting at the gas pump. Yeah,
you know what. It's not their own money, it's a
city's money. Okay, but a single person is not getting recognized.
You wanted single person recognition? Yeah, well they could say
Lunchbox from the Biby Bones Show, it's given out gas.
(22:35):
You wouldn't it would be who We wouldn't just send
you if we were doing it to the show event.
Why let me have the spotlighter once you could tell
you every day all the wool, so shout out Oceanside
Police Department. The officers were able to give away fifty
bucks at a time, a total of fifteen hundred dollars.
The free money went a long way toward putting smiles
on faces the people that were getting gas because gas
is high, and they are doing other programs now, and
(22:56):
it looks like they're gonna help people their grocery bills
soon as well. It's awesome. There you go. That is
what it's all about. That was tell me something good.
It's time for our check in. It's called what's the halps? Hey?
What's all right? What's the halps? Amy? Well, I went
out to eat and the bill comes and we're all
(23:17):
gonna split it. Everybody throws their credit card in, and
then the waiter comes back to the table and hands
me my card and said it didn't work. Oh embarrassing,
I know, did it expire? So then I was like, oh, shoot,
you know how I've had all that fraud lately. I
got a new card and I forgot to put it
in my wallet, so I hadn't replaced it, and so
(23:38):
then I had no way to pay. I had no
other forms of payment, and so I had to get
the bill covered and they had to go rerun their
cards and it just got really awkward. And I just
met the people. Oh, I was gonna say, if it's
close friends, it's not as Oh, it's fine. Oh, but
it was no like my first time. One of them
(23:58):
I had met once before, the other one didn't first
time meeting, and it was just very awkward. Well, if
they know your reputation rude? Yeah, I mean Amy know
what Amy does? Amy does this thing where she let's
go eat, Let's wait. Oh, what do you know? I
don't have my card? Bobby, will you pay for me?
(24:19):
All the fingers on my hand? That's not true? And
then what do you know? You know with your other
friends too? Bobby said, just you know, thanks? Okay, exaggerating much,
but it was embarrassing and I will be paying them back,
don't you worry? Okay, Hey, what's the heck? I'll give
(24:41):
you guys an option on mine. I can tell you
about a new show. I can tell you about something
that's happened to me. That's a bit awkward, but I'm
proving you guys are wrong. Awkward. I just grew at
half shoes eyes, friends, you can't. I told you guys,
I'm growing. I'm growing. I'm a quarter of a niche taller,
my foot's getting bigger. The same tennis shoes and the
(25:03):
same brand I always buy. I had to go up
a half shoe size. So are you swollen? Oh yeah, salt, Yeah,
your feet don't get bigger and you don't get taller
if they're swollen. I'm getting taller. No, I've just been
telling you guys for six months that for some reason,
I'm growing still toe nails? Are you trimming though long toe?
(25:24):
Just because you got called out? I'm not calling you out.
I'm just saying that we hear of it with age.
People's nose or their ears keep growing, but we've never
heard of I'm getting taller. What about your hands? Yes?
Like I big Darren? Now, thank you? So I went
up a half shoe size that's what's halfs And it
was crazy and I had to order shoes a half
(25:44):
shoes sizes up? What up? It's weird. I'm still a
growing boy. Submit yourself to science. Well, I haven't gotten
that big yet. If I grow up another half inch
and I'm a legit six one, you never get hear
the end of it. I'm gonna start being six two,
do you guys? Because if I'm six one, I'm really
six two. All right, that's my what's the hass? Hey, Hey,
(26:05):
what's the hash? Lunchbox? Man? I can't go anywhere, guys.
I tell you all the time that I get recognized here.
I get recognized there. You guys never believe me. And
I go to take my dog to get a bath,
you know, a little spoiling at the spa. And I
walk in and the girl behind the desk about jumped
over the desk. She was, are you lunchbox? Oh my gosh?
Can I get a picture? And then she turns around
(26:28):
and runs to the back of it, like through the doors.
And I was like, well, are we not getting a picture?
And she went to get her other you know, co
workers in here. I got audio, Okay, got a Are
you ready? Are we gonna do a picture? Yeah? I
mean I know you probably don't get a lot of
celebrities in here right now. You asked her, No, no no, no,
(26:52):
We played the clip again. She said, you picture? Are
you ready? Are we gonna a picture? I'm wanting? Yeah,
I mean I know you probably She was like, do
we want to do She was asking, I don't think
just the reactually wanted to let me, let me explain
how it went down. First, she was wanting an autograph,
and I was like, most people do selfies now. She
(27:13):
was like yeah, yeah. And then that's when she went
to get to other people from the back and she
brought out some dude and another girl and they came
out and I was like, oh, are we gonna do
this picture? And she looked at her friends she goes,
are we going to take a picture? They were trying
to play by the way, I have a clip. I
walked into an arena and everybody was so shocked that
I was walking in. They all got really quiet. Here's
the clip of that war that they were in such shock.
(27:39):
You can take any clip to say anything about any want. No, No,
that was what I mean. You heard it right there. Yes,
And they were so excited. I heard her say I
don't know, do you want to take a picture? And
you go yeah. I said, you don't get very many
celebrities and you're doing and she goes nope, yes, And
she still felt like no, all right, what's the half? Say?
(27:59):
What's the eddie? My wife's been taken a liking into
a certain country artist, and I don't like it. Okay,
So we talked about this a couple days ago. We said,
Eddie's wife's in love with the country artist. The thing is,
he's so younger than Eddie. She loves his music all
of a sudden. Oh, I got it. It has to
be part Oh wow both how he's young, like, she's
(28:25):
a Texas girl. Do you guys, you guys like him?
I don't know anything about him? Yes, yes, yes, that's it.
That's the artist. Why, yes, the artists. I mean, she
just wants to hear this song all the time. Does
she ever look at him? Oh? Yeah, bones, this is crazy,
This is crazy. I got her phone to get something
(28:46):
and I opened Safari Parker McCall him Wikipedia. Yeah, so
she's reading about it. She just music, Like, why look
into more about the dude? I know? Oh good looking?
Where's gold tags? Young dude? Maybe you should try that.
I wearing a gold chain and don't say anything about it, huh,
and just see if she brings it up. Okay, okay,
(29:09):
little tall trucker hat, gold chains, white tshirt, yeah, sunglasses yeah.
Morgan Parker McCall him. Yeah, he's cute. All right, Well
do you have it? Eddie? Right's? I think she's graduated
from Sam Hunt because she used to love Sam Hunt.
She likes him the same age sam age doubt. I
guess all right, that's what's happening in everybody's life. That's
(29:31):

we roll the dice. You go first. What is America's
favorite Disney movie? I'm gonna go Lion King. Show me
Lion King. That is the number one answer one point.
(31:01):
Say any more points than that, but you still keep it. Okay, Uh,
it is Frozen Disney. So your answer Frozen show me
Frozen number six. Oooh okay um. What about Aladdin? Aladdin
(31:25):
number two? So far you have nine points. Snow White
show me snow White number nine. I don't know if
this person's Disney. That's what's hard. M Aladdin all right?
(31:55):
She already said Aladdin should do the show everything Bobby does. Yeah,
crossed it out. Yea. Lets give me Beauty and the Beast.
Show me Beauty and the Beast. Correct number three. Oh yeah,
let me go down under the sea a little Mermaid Ariel?
(32:17):
Isn't that her name? Ariel? Just stick with little Mermaid?
Show me a Little Mermaid. Oh that's a great one. Wow. Okay,
that's my wife's favorite of all time, Eddie. Okay, let's
see over. There are five answers on the board. This
is where it gets tricky because the Pixar Disney. So uh,
(32:41):
let's go with Oh, no one has said Cinderella. Let's
put Cinderella in there. Show me Cinderella, all my guest
after a lot. That's number four, got four points. Okay,
that's where I'm gonna go. I have to go into Pixar.
So give me finding Nemo. Show the guy finding Nemo.
What's just Pisar? An not count everybody? I don't. All
(33:03):
I see is the question they asked ten thousand Americans
our favorite Disney movie. Es are the answers. That's where
it gets tall. Amy back over to you in the lead.
Right now, Cars, show me cars, Amy, that was a
great answer. That was a great answer. Actually, Pixar, that's
(33:24):
not count lunchbox man. I don't even know any more
Disney movies. It's the problem. Um give me pokahonas. Oh,
good one, that's amazing. Pocahonas. Yeah, number ten would kiss?
What a kiss? Oh? Now I'm out. Yeah, you're in
(33:46):
trouble now, well you're out. Even before that I was out.
That was even an out guess an out guess. Um
just repeating what you're saying. I'm not repeating what he's saying. Uh, Disney,
I don't even know if this is Disney. Dang, give
me sing what the movie sing? Sing? Yeah? I don't
(34:11):
know if it's Disney though, show me sing all right?
I don't know if this is the end of round two.
So there's only only three rounds and the third round
has got to be speed round, and you only have
three seconds to answer Eddie jungle Book. M h good
one show Eddie the jungle Book. There are three answers
(34:37):
left on the board five, seven, and eight, and they
go from old school to even new new Okay, so
it's all all ages. There are three left. You have
three seconds to answer it, Amy, You're in the lead
with eighteen points. America's favorite Disney movie. What you got
show me Mowanna lunch Box? You need one of these
(35:00):
just to tie. Any of them will tie? Go ahead?
Give me oh Tarzan? All right? Is that not a
Disney still in I don't know anything. I don't know
any more Disney movies. Guys, show me Tarzan. I mean yeah,
(35:20):
because you'll be in my heart. It's Disney. I thought that. No,
juncle Buck wasn't Phil College. You'll be in my heart. Eddy.
You only have four points. You need well all three
of these to win. Okay, so can you get one?
I have four written? Okay, what's what's your strongest one? Gosh,
I don't know because I'm not sure none of the
Pixars have hit. Okay, we can't talk anymore. I need
(35:41):
an answer. Okay, Yeah, let's go with Alice in Wonderland.
Show me that's the old school one. The old school
win Alice. He's pumping the crowd up right now in Wonderland.
So before we get to Amy's winning song, I think
you You're one on the bottoms in Eddie Bamby would
(36:03):
have been number seven nineteen forty two instead, of Alice
in Wonderland. Yeah. When I think of Disney movies, I
think of Bambi. That was sad one toy story. I
have that, but nineteen ninety five and the new one
was sold. Amy is our winner, even though she guess
Aladdin twice in the same round. Eighteen point. Hey, it's
(36:34):

Some restrictions apply. He's Amy's pile of stories. So we've
(36:54):
talked before about the five click trick on an iPhone,
like if you're in an emergency situation, you just hit
that big bar on the side of your phone five
times and it will alert nine one for you. Not
only we talked about it, you did it. Yeah, sos
straight here from the studio. Yeah, and it's scary, but
I think I've mostly talked about it in cases in
(37:15):
which women feel threatened and they need to have their finger,
Like if you're ever walking alone at night. They say,
have your phone in your hand, have your finger on
that button. In case something happens, you can just boom
boom boom boom boom. Do it. Well, this one guy
was snowboarding and he ended up in a terrible situation
where he was underneath a bunch of snow and ye, yeah,
like I don't know, he fell off, like went off
the cliff and there was like call it whatever you want.
(37:37):
But he was in like the Swiss Salt mountains or something,
and he's forty one years old, and he said, he's
so glad he knew the five click trick because he
was able to do it. His phone was wet, he
wouldn't have been able to dial nine one one, and
so he did it and then twenty minutes later emergency
crews were able to find him. I mean, that's cool
at all. He can get service there in my house.
I get like one bar, you guys underneath snow and
(37:59):
some slift and yeah, I get one bar in my
living room. He did. Yes, I got a click to
get a call to go through Eddie. Click click click click,
all right, what's your emergency? All right? Yeah? He lived, Yes,
he lives. So it's an amazing story, like a little
tell me something good here an apsa. So it is
now going to be socially acceptable to eat a Kitcat
(38:21):
bar for breakfast because they released a new flavor called
blueberry muffin that sounds awful and kit Kat might be
my favorite candy bar move. If I were doing this,
I won't get into that today. There we go again. Now,
I know, but kit Kats, but blueberry muffin is not
good for that really. Yeah, that's like, hey, we're gonna
do a new cereal Pepperoni Cereal and you're like, I
(38:42):
love them both, but that don't that don't make sense. Okay,
let me describe this to you, because to me it
sounds amazing. So there's notes of fresh and cooked blueberries.
Well that's the first thing. Kitcat should not be fresh, Okay,
they should be so processed. No, it's still processed. It's
what it tastes like, a cake batter like muffin flavor
and graham cracker like cookie pieces folded into the bar,
(39:03):
and then the iconic crispy wafers. Of course, all right,
I'll pass. Okay. There's a rare interview with George straight
from nineteen eighty two that has surfaced, and I'm just
gonna go ahead and play a clip because it's kind
of funny of what the person says about George. With
George Straight T shirts selling briskly in the background. We
asked some fans about the singer who supposedly can make
(39:23):
a cowgirls jeans twitch at one hundred yards. Well, he
sings pretty songs and he's a good looking that's what
it is. You'll see when he washed out on the stage.
Just probably see about seventy five to one hundred, two
hundred girls Stan met at defended stage, holding Moses to
throw to him or try to get his auto gap
and just get a look from him. Yeah, he was
the original. Justin Bieber. Yeah, what do they mean by
(39:45):
jeans twitch? Eddie? I'll tell y'all here. Yeah, your parents
having had that talk with you at this point, Huh,
it's not something we'll do here, Okay. Yeah, and again
the yah that's from nineteen eighty two, and he had
one number one song at that point, which is full
Hearted Memory. I just wish at some point in my
life I can make someone's jeans twitch. M I'd be
too late for that. I know Okay, I'm Amy. That's
(40:08):
my vial. That was Amy's pile of Stories. One of
the hottest artists in country music, Cole Swindell, has a
brand new album out called Stereotype, featuring the hit duet
with Laney Wilson. Never Say Never. Make sure you add
this new release from Cole Swindell to your music library.
Get it today wherever you get music. It's time for
(40:29):
the good news. So this guy, Donnie, he's had kidney
disease for thirty years and so he regularly visits the
pharmacy in North Carolina. Well, the pharmacist that works there, Kathleen,
She's developed a relationship with him, and one day he
found out he's going to need a kidney transplant, and
(40:50):
he shared with her that he was on the transplant list,
and she looked at him and she said, you know what,
I'm gonna go get checked see if I'm a match,
because I'd love to give you my kidney. She went
and got checked. She's a match. The transplant went down,
everyone is doing great, and he called her an angel
from heaven. Pretty cool in thirty years. Huh, Yeah, he's
been dealing with it for thirty years. It's a rare
(41:12):
genetic thing. Wow. Good for him that donating body parts
and organs and stuff. Big deal. That's a big deal.
That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good.
