let's try this. Okay, that's not a fight, though, it's like, okay,
let's fix someone.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
We both like.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
You never said I don't want to watch this, but
it's not a fight.
Speaker 7 (03:18):
A fight is where you're how come you never want
to watch what I want to watch.
Speaker 8 (03:22):
I can't believe you you watch that.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I think that's a bit dramatic. I think disagreements. I
think that any disagreements a fight. Yeah, okay, okay, cleaning,
not keeping the house clean. Number one answer.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Like going out, drinking or hanging part partying? I don't
have part No like going out.
Speaker 5 (03:46):
I don't understand what context you're using there.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Drinking you do like too much?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Or like just you're not You're not really giving me
an answer here.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
I guess they could fall in that category of partying.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Okay, too much party? Okay, all right, So now lunchboxes
round two points are doubled. There are one, two, three, four,
five answers left on the board. Number one is not
keeping the house clean. Number two is kids. Number three
is money. Number four is what to eat for dinner?
Number six is what to watch on TV?
Speaker 7 (04:19):
Yeah, directions, directions.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
He says, go that way. She says, go that way.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
No, I think you're wrong.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Directions, show me directions.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Eddie's confused too.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
No I'm not. It's just because I had something around directions.
But my directions though.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
I mean, you can kind of hit you bus on
your phone.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, you know that's what right?
Speaker 5 (04:46):
If we ever, like, how do we go? No, go
this way? We hit and see which one has the
less minutes. And that's always our judge.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Eddie phones. You know, we all spot of me and
you are you and your wife?
Speaker 3 (04:56):
No?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
No, no, no couples.
Speaker 5 (04:57):

Speaker 1 (04:59):
The temperature in the house, yeah a men? Come on,
a men?
Speaker 5 (05:04):
I don't know if you're right or on?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh show me temperature? Yes, yeah we do. That's a
constant source of man. Did why is it on heat?
Or she's like, why is it on sixty one? I'm like,
I like a cold baby. I need to fight more
of my wife.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
That's your number nine answer.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Ready to get eighteen? Number nine? Okay?
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Okay, man, you know what, I'm getting enough respect around here,
so no respect?
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Hey, not getting respect?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
No no, no, no, no, no no no. Kind of funny,
but al right, Amy, it gets really personal with the
guys you respect me.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Go ahead, gosh, Lunchbox said directions.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
But what if he's just driving. Yes, maybe that's what
I thought. Definitely different drive egg, definitely different, but not right?
All right, round, three points are tripled, Lunchbox. You're in
the last place with three points and.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Number one pick because I don't use it's confusing.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
These social media what about it?
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Good one screen time?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
Too much social media? Use screen post. They're liking things.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
Your mother is your wife, a child.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
They're liking so you get yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I'm
just saying social media it causes a lot of fight.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Show me social media. Wow, three points and he retires
at three points.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Well, this category was absolutely stupid.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
No it wasn't, Eddie two thousand adults, Top ten most comment.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Things people fight about a couples. I was saving the
good ones.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Here where you got triple points? Yeah for triple points? Baby.
You always find about the in laws. You're so much
like your mom.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
I hear, like you're dad.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
That's a good one. In laws. Eddie's like when find
out what you calls me a little bee like Eddie
relax man relax might not be pay show me unlaws
no on there? Oh okay, so Eddie is in the
lead with eighteen points. Amy, if you get any of
these you win. Yeah, but I only got one right,
that was the number nine one though there are four
(07:04):
anches left on the board. Not keeping the house clean
at one kid's money? What's eat for dinner? What to
watch on TV? And the temperature? Can you get one
of the four for the wind?
Speaker 9 (07:14):
Mm hmm?
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Friends?
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I have that watching friends? No, no, no, not show
your favorite of the cats and friends?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Is that something there? Working too much?
Speaker 5 (07:28):
But that's you can't pick a different one.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Friends wasn't on there.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
I don't like your friends, so like you.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Hang out with your friends too much?
Speaker 1 (07:38):
I'll give them to you if you're ready.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Working too much?
Speaker 1 (07:40):
No kid's names, norenoring, snoring, Oh, don't put it, no
want you want.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
To do it?
Speaker 4 (07:51):
The amount? That's not stuff, dude, No snoring clothes.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Okay, So anyway, thank you everybody there keeping the house clean?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
First of all?
Speaker 1 (08:00):
On winning play a song number five? Who left the
lights on a for durable electric? I'm not caring about
the electric bill for water, running that type stuff. Number seven,
leaving the toilet seat up and down. Number eight, constantly
being on the phone, either talking or close. But it's
(08:26):
not it. But this is that social media literally says
on the phone, So it could be talking and sleeping
with the TV on.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Sure, Eddie with your one correct answer, it was a
heavy one.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Win got Jim.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
On the phone.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Now is my friend Brent who was on Will of
Fortune with Ryan Seacrest as the host. So Brent is
the program director in Bakersfield and he comes in all
the time Michael's friend. Yea, oh my gosh, So this
is crazy. I'm not sure what Brent can sand. He's
on Hey Brand, good morning, Hey, good.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Morning, Bobby, Good morning, studio morn.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
So I'm not sure what Brent can say. So anything
you can't say Brent to say, I can't say yet
because I don't know the rules on when you go
on a game show.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
And it hasn't aired yet.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
When does it air?
Speaker 3 (09:12):
It airs September eighteen, so wisday?
Speaker 5 (09:14):
It's going to be on Wednesday? His episode?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Well that's soon.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
So when did you tape it?
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Brent?
Speaker 10 (09:19):
It was back in July, like end of July, and
so but did you.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Know Seekres was going to be the host whenever? And
how did you get on?
Speaker 3 (09:27):
I did know he was going to be the host,
So I got an email just saying, hey, would.
Speaker 10 (09:33):
You ever want to be on Wheel of Fortune?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
And so you have to go through a process.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Whoa wait, So like you, how do they just let
all the people in the world.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
They just email you?
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Let him finish. You can ask him that in a second.
So you got an email would you ever want to
be on Well Fortune?
Speaker 3 (09:48):
You said yes, yep, and so you uh send him
in a video just you know, they asked for a
short video just showing off your personality, and then you
kind of wait and then they reach out to you
if you're interested, and then you know, from there, there
were a couple of things you had to do, like
they have you talk to someone and then you know,
you kind of get on a couple of zooms and
(10:10):
if you kind of get through all the steps, then
they invite.
Speaker 10 (10:12):
Should come down and come play.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Did they ever challenge you on your actual Will of
Fortune skills? Because I suck at well Fortune?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yes, that is one of the rounds. Yes, they put
up a board in front of you kind of simulate yes,
and how did.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
You do in your practice round?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I thought I did okay, but not great, Like I
don't know that you got to. I think they're just
trying to and this is just my judgment on I
think they're trying to make sure that, you know, kind
of under pressure, you still kind of.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Seem fun and can kind.
Speaker 10 (10:37):
Of keep your personality.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
So they just don't want full idiots who are going
to melt down. They don't mind mid idiots if they
can just contain their composure.
Speaker 10 (10:44):
I mean it led me through.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
So how long until you knew you were getting the
call to go do the show? Like from the last
time you talked to them until they said hey, come
do it.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
It was probably a couple of months and then they
kind of reached back out. So yeah, no, I mean
at Lunchbox, if you want to do this, you know
they are always looking for contestants. I mean you think
they film all these shows. I mean they need three
contestants every show, so you can always go to their
website submit a video. Man, you've got the personality, you
(11:14):
can do this.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
I understand, but I don't understand how they just find
your email and just email.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Been on other game shows.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Did you know that? Yeah, no, we've a database. What
other shows have you been on?
Speaker 3 (11:28):
So? I once was on twenty five Words or Less
that was about seven years ago. Now it's a game
show Network show. And I was on a different game
show Network show called People Puzzler that was about four
years ago.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
So are you in a database? And they're like other players?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
And have you won money on these shows?
Speaker 3 (11:48):
On the first show, I won ten thousand dollars. I
didn't win anything the second time.
Speaker 10 (11:55):
And I'm not allowed to say kind of what happens
this time, so you have to tune in and watch.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
Dang, are you a well a fortune fan?
Speaker 7 (12:01):
I am?
Speaker 3 (12:02):
To me that was like the iconic one. If I
could ever get on, I was gonna get on, like
I really wanted to do, so, I mean it was
definitely a bucket list thing.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
How did Seacrest do his host I think.
Speaker 10 (12:12):
He's really good at it. I think he was a
good choice.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I mean this is pretty early because I mean he's
just starting, so, I mean it's one of the first episodes,
and I thought he was.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
A great lunchbox. Any questions for a brand? He's been
on three game shows.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Now, I don't understand how this happens.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Then I'm just so like, can you give Lunchbox and
advice Brown what he could do today? Because he you
know him's and haws and no, I don't have all
that stuff, but he never actually does anything. So what
could he do like practically speaking, that would get him
on one of these shows?
Speaker 3 (12:41):
So think of the game show you want to be
on all of them.
Speaker 10 (12:44):
Go to their their site.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
They all have like here's how you be a contestant.
So if it's Wheel of Fortune, then send them a
video like you can. Always they always are looking for people.
But you do have to be willing to go to
wherever they take the game show.
Speaker 10 (13:01):
To be on it.
Speaker 11 (13:03):
Do this.
Speaker 10 (13:04):
You have to get there on your own.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Oh that's easy for Brent. He's in California. That's worth
a fly. Yeah, it's worth it.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
How bad do you want it, Lunchbox?
Speaker 5 (13:14):
I want he demands.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
No, Okay, I thought for sure they gave you a
flight out there. I mean, if you're going to be
on like a reality show or what about Floor's lava,
what's up floors?
Speaker 2 (13:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
I thought that was kids. It's like doubledare No, no, no,
it's adults too.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Adults.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Hey, Brent, congratulations. I don't know if you want to not.
The show airs Wednesday. It's our friend Brent, who will
be on Well Fortune with Ryan Seacrest. He's also on
h he's our program Doctor of the Bull, but he's
also on What's the Station You Do? Afternoons on Brent Casey's.
He's also nominated for CMA. This guy doesn't all, he
does it all.
Speaker 10 (13:50):
Congrats to you guys too. You're also nominated for a CMA.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
You know.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Congrats to you you, Brent.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
That's right, all right, Brent, good to talk to you.
I hope you went on Wednesday.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
All right, Thanks, Bobby.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
Let's do the news.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Bobby's stories. This first story this bank in Kentucky. So
people are going up and they're going up to the ATM.
Money comes out, fake hunt dollar bills, movie money.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Oh no, but do they know it? They trying to
go spend it, and then they get vested.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
I thought you meant the bank.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Oh, a bank in Kentucky's in hot water after more
than a dozen people received fake one hundred dollars bills.
It was movie money, said we have some and it
looks so real. But in very small letters. It says
for motion picture purposes, but it's very small, and I
think it says in props we trust very small. Ooh,
that's funny. It does say that, that's funny. The bank
(14:46):
says they apologize for any inconvenience. I do not think
the bank knew what was going on. Independence Bank in
Kentucky's and hot Water. More than a dozen people got
this money. Again, it's so real. It's unclear who's a fault.
The bank is blamed, get on the vendor that manages
and maintains their machines. They say they've shut down the
fake money ATMs and they have contact with the people
who may have been impacted. There's so many places this
(15:09):
could have gone. I won't say wrong. This could have
gone dishonest. It could have been somebody working at the
bank who's just slipping it and passing it out. It
could have been the person again who's filling the money.
It could have been a person who gave the money
to the filler of the money. Because it looks so real.
But imagine that you go to the grocery store and
you try to pay for this.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
And you're innocent and yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
No one believes you.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Like, oh, yeah, we kind of got new looking one
hundred dollars bills or whatever they look like.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
I just don't think they look different unless you stare
at it.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, you gotta hold it up.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
But even that, I don't do that. When I worked
a hobby lobby, they say hold the money up. I
never once. Actually, I just did it to see if
the person would like, right, serious, Yeah, I didn't know
what I was looking for. Are there's something in the
middle of it? I can't see uh Alaska Airlines playing
hard breaks to avoid a collision with the Southwest plane
while we got triving jameson runaways all the time, we
got planes hitting planes, knocking.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
Off tails, hard breaking.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
The pattern of near miss plane collisions continued yesterday in Nashville.
No one was injured when an Alaska Airlines jet had
to abort a takeoff at Nashville on a national airport.
THEFA says the jet blew out some tires while breaking
to avoid a collision with a Southwest Airlines flight. What
oh yeah, Like, who messed this up? Is this happening
more now?
Speaker 6 (16:25):
Or is it just like the shark attacks and the
deal where like one story comes out and then like,
all right, guys, let's talk about every time there's a
wreck on the runway.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
It's a great question. I would assume. O. I would
have said, it's happening more. But you're right, maybe the
stories are either way. It doesn't we need to stop. Yeah,
no more running is there? The more air traffic? Are
there more planes going in and out? That's from the
Chicago Tribune. Portland State, Ay, you're not gonna believe this.
I should do this in like an old nineteen ten
radio voice. Portland State has canceled it's week three meeting
(16:56):
with South Dakota because of an outbreak of whooping cough.
They had to cancel a football game because because of
whooping cough. Portland State OH and two was set to
South Dakota one to one on Saturday, following their U
losses to a couple of teams. Uh, but too many
people on the team. Had we just call it the crew.
I GOTDMA called it the crew. That's the crew. I'm
(17:16):
not sure if there is that, but it would be
like it was like a bacterial infection the lungs, and
I would get that, I can't do it now, it hurts.
They'd be like, how do you say the wool?
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Yeah, whooping? Whooping?
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Did you say whooping?
Speaker 5 (17:30):
I don't know, because now now that I hear you
guys do it, I'm gonna cheat.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Okay, but I would have said a wooping cough.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
You said whooping, and I say, you say whooping? Whooping cough.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
See when once we start saying we hear each other,
we change. Okay, let me read it again. Portland State
is cat So it's week three meeting with South Dakota.
Because if an outbreak of the whooping cough?
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Is that how it said?
Speaker 1 (17:50):
You said whooping?
Speaker 5 (17:52):
How do you I don't know.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
I never say it anyway.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
I don't know if I've ever really said it.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Next week's game, Holy oh no, oh gosh. But that's
why job like too many people had it, so they
had to cancel the game. The world's oldest cat dead
at thirty three.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
What is that old?
Speaker 5 (18:10):
That's real for a catty three years old?
Speaker 4 (18:13):
Yeah, that's really old and maybe twenty.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
My wife's not thirty three. Oh oh man, this cat
lived along under my wife.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Wow, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
I much loved and thought to be the oldest cat
in the world has died at thirty three years old. Rosie,
a fluffy tortoiseshell is that a cat? Or her coat
is tortoise showt Yeah, passed away. Her proud owner was
seventy three born in nineteen ninety one. She was the
unofficial holder of the world's oldest cat. Now it's to
(18:45):
a twenty eight year old cat called Flossie. Rosie turned
thirty three on June first and died at the equivalent
of one hundred and fifty two in human years. Wow
New York Post. I was talking to Josie, doctor Josie,
my vet, who has a podcast called in the Vet's
Office with Doctor Josie. You should check it out. But
she was talking about dog years and how it's not
exactly seven years per year. That's just how we can
(19:07):
remember it. But it's like seven seven seven six six
six five five five four four three two. It's like that,
it slowly starts, but for a long time it's like seven.
Even I think about my dog's dying every day. I
think about me dying every day every day. But Stanley, like,
he's a bulldog, and they shouldn't make bulldogs because basically
bulldogs are made. And I love him, but I would
(19:28):
never recommend anyone to get one. He's fat and everything's broke.
Everything was broken in and when he was born like
his noe, you can't breathe.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Like, what part of your day do you think about this?
Speaker 1 (19:39):
When I look at him, and I'll look it in
the mirror.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Okay, So anytime that happens, or just morning night.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Anytime I look at him, I'm like, man, he ain't
gonna ma too much. Fune makes me sad. I like,
I get so sad. Where Ella is like a mutt.
We've found her, adopted her. She'll be she'll be older
than old Effie or whatever the stupid cat's name was.
It's awesome.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
That part is awesome. It doesn't make me sad.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Dakota Johnson says she basically overdosed on caffeine. Dakota Johnson
is Don Johnson's daughter. She's also fifty shades of gray
at that Actresses said she didn't know Celsius was an
energy drink, so I was a vitamin drink.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
So she was knocking back Celsius.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Whoa She also cold plays Yes, girlfriend or fiance or something? Yeah,
cold play a whole band note Chris Martin Lee singer, Yes,
she said, I discovered Celsius on day one of filming.
I didn't know it was like red bull. I thought
it was a natural drink. At first, she attributed the
energy to being in the zone. I was like, I'm
(20:33):
so creative, I'm so inspired, and it was having too
sales this to day. I thought it was vitamins. That
is funny.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
Weekend headaches.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
If you get headaches on the weekend, there's actually a
reason you get them on the weekend and not during
the work week. It's because you could be taking a
sudden break from your daily nine to five. Experts say
if you get weekend headaches, a stress hangover maybe to blame.
When your work week tension ends, you're adrenaline plummets because
your body's so off with something. Your head hurts. That's
from Hill your Headache by David Buckholtz, MD. A study
(21:02):
found bosses don't know more than those below them. If
you've ever suspected your boss isn't actually good enough what
he or she does to deserve their job, a study
suggests you might be right. The study found the bosses
most times looked the part and we're great speakers. When
it came to the intriacies of the company. Most times
they did not have greater knowledge than anyone else. Social psychology.
Social psychologists say that one way to be viewed as
(21:23):
a leader is to simply act like one. So in
the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, I will say
I do not know a lot of things that like
Scuba and Ray and Mike d know that they have
to do in the organization of the show and the
communication with salespeople or the editing, Like I had to
do all that myself coming up, but it's changed so much.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
I have no idea. I'd be on an island. They
were like, okay, do the the.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
What about our CEO? Like would you be able to
do that?
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Could I do what our CEO does? I do not
know what our CEO does, nor do I know like
the financial part of it. So now I'm gonna go.
And I think there's a difference than a boss and
a CEO of a major company because I think the
CEO and CFO they have to have certain skills, But.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
They play golf like all day, don't they. I don't
think are CEOs in general like, yeah, that's what you
do once you make it to that level.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Play golf.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
I think if you want to be great at that level,
you don't.
Speaker 7 (22:19):
Oh, I think you're meeting with people from other companies,
like other CEOs, and you got to swap ideas.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I think you can do that a little bit. But
I think you want to be great, you got to
continue to be great, you know. But I feel this
way a little bit about myself, Like there's some of
the stuff that these guys do that what you guys do,
no problem. What they do anie, what you do, video stuff.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
I have no idea about technology?
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Yeah, yeah, very complicated.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
What else three do over here?
Speaker 1 (22:42):
You guys could do that. Let's you guys can crush that.
And then finally, should you eat gluten? From the Journal
of American Nutrition Association. Unless you have a medical disease
or condition like Celiac disease, eat gluten.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
It's fine. Don't avoid it like you're not missing anything.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
What happens is when people avoid it, they're actually getting
It's not the gluten that's hurting them.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
They're having less fiber or less B vitamins.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
So their body's inflame because they're avoiding gluten because they're
think I shouldn't avoid gluten.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
But if you don't have an allergic reaction to gluten.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
If you're missing gluten, you're actually missing out all the
things that are coming along, like gluten's friends.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
Oh the friends, Yeah, like the vitamins that are associated.
Speaker 10 (23:19):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
This is definitely one of those things where we look
back on it. It's like the different crazes. Like in
the nineties, it was like that is bad, like don't
eat fat and everything was fat free, and then we
realized later like, no, don't eat fat free, eat full fat.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Salt a bit too right, Like you do need a
bit of salt in your diet, and so we're like,
no salt. So anyway, gluten, I wish I could. I'd
have a plate of gluten right now. I don't even
know what gluten looks like, but it looks like gluten wheat.
Speaker 9 (23:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
I mean, but can you just have straight gluten? I
think it's in the gluten farm.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
I think it's just in a.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Bobby's story. Okay. I went to a fantasy basketball camps
day Friday, and it's thirty and over. I didn't know
what I was getting myself into. It was like the
fifty percent of the people there were just ballers. They
were like betteam cleees from Michigan State. Uh, the old
quarterback from Ohio State.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
They were.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
It was well when you say the old quarterback, like
how old?
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Thirty?
Speaker 7 (24:17):
Oh, so there was legitimate athletes. I saw the picture
and it looked like there was.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Some fifty percent of the people were actual hardcore ballers
or athletes that were really good. Twenty percent were guys
that used to play like there were some old men there,
but like the old man.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
We played against like Kent State, and you wouldn't miss dang.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
It was great. I bit off more than I could chew.
And so every team had eight people on it. In
the first in it the first game, two of our
guys went down hurt. One went to the hospital. And
it's forty minutes full court every game. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
This is why I asked you this morning when I
walked in, if you were sore, No, I'm in good
shame you a good basketball player?
Speaker 1 (24:54):
No, But I saw a picture of you with like
frozen p's on your ankle. You like, you're good.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
I have a kill, you know I have that todaylights
and achilles.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Nothing got worse.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
That hurt pretty bad, but that we had the full
training staff of Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
Yeah, it was. If you're not a hardcore BASKETBA player,
I would not encourage you to do it.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Luckily, I was in shape enough to just kind of
keep up because by the time it was tournament time,
if you were like, weren't basketb player out, if.
Speaker 5 (25:17):
You were gone, you didn't even play.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
Really, dude, if we would have dropped, like didn't play
in the tur We.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Had eight people on every team at eight people in
the first game on the first day, two of them
were gone, one went to the hospital, and one got hurt.
There were we had six people running full court for
forty minutes. People were like bagging to come out, and
then we didn't have any.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
Be on the bench.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
You had no bench. So for me it was a challenge.
I was not good. I kept up just fine, but
it was hard. It was one of the hardest athletic
things I've ever tried to do. How did they divvy
your teams up? Was it like so they so? What
they did was they had everybody do like twelve minutes
full core different sets, which, by the way, I was
(25:56):
stupid and I was like, I'm about to show them,
what's up? Just running wise, I won't wait hardway you
My thought my heart was gonna explode out of my
chest like four minutes in, and I'm in really I
think I'm in really good shape. So then they disappeared.
The four coaches, Like my coach was Seth Greenberg, who's awesome,
who was head coach at Miami and Virginia Tech. He's
on college game day now. But they disappear, and they
come back and they tell you who they drafted. They
don't do it in front of you. Thank god, I'd
have been one the last ones picked. But it was,
(26:20):
it was, it was. It was humbling in like, uh,
Cardil Jones, a House State quarterback who's a monster, was awesome,
played center for the team against us and just dunt
dunked on people. Now did he pay to be part
of this or did he get invited?
Speaker 2 (26:34):
That's my question.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
I don't know. Mat Teen Cleaves again, we talked at
from Michigan State.
Speaker 5 (26:37):
Dominated mean, it was, it's wild.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
So was it it was? Was it fun?
Speaker 5 (26:41):
It's okay?
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Was it a challenge?
Speaker 5 (26:43):
Absolutely?
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Would you do it again?
Speaker 3 (26:44):
No?
Speaker 5 (26:44):
But I'm glad I did it this time.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
I compare I compare it to either the skydiving, which
I freaking hated, or I compare it to when I
rode with the Blue Angels, which I'm so happy I
did that because I felt like it was such an honor.
They called and invited me to do it, but I
would never do it again because I got so sick
and I like to fly.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
But did I go and did I do it?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yep?
Speaker 5 (27:07):
And that's it.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
It was really hard. Coach cal I talked to him
for like one second. Was he there the whole time?
Kind of he likes set in the stands for a
little bit, but he had people around him, and I
was so tired. There is no like there is why
if you're a ballplayer you have to do it.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Did you make any friends?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
There's one guy It's exactly like it's camp to talk.
Luck Again, Luckily I was in okay shape or I
would have quit because I definitely wasn't a good.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
Enough basketball player. Did I have any that make any friends?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
One guy named Big Blue drew okay well because he
went to the Kentucky He's from Kentucky.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
He went to the Kentucky camp.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
The week before and because they were all there were
probably twenty guys that traveled around the country and do
all these camps, like that's what they do for a living.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
No, they train and they go do these camps.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
But what do they do, Like, how do they have
that time?
Speaker 1 (27:59):
They don't have to They do like six years, so
it's like one every two months they have they take
like a Thursday afternoon off or Friday or something. Was
Big Blue Big or just Big Blue Drew. Yeah, yeah,
he played with then. He was probably six y three,
played post for us. Really nice guy was like super.
You could tell he was an athlete because and like
played sports. Was building me up even though I was not.
And I was wearing a new Balance runn shoes because
I know all I had to do is run. I
(28:19):
just was running playing defense. Anyway, I'm telling there's a
video of me playing ball and I kept I did. Okay,
So we made like a little highlight video or sorry,
a mixtape and a mixtape. Yeah, so if you go
to my Instagram, mister Bobby Bones, it is way harder
than I thought it was gonna be.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
And about five minutes in, I was like, oh, I
don't know what I got myself into. I haven't thought that.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Morning I was like, should I even go because I'm
just gonna hold my team back, But I went, Uh,
we didn't win the tournament.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
But okay, was it a net gain?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Yes, but it was not. I thought like I was
hoping it was gonna be that lunch box said a
bunch of fat businessmen.
Speaker 7 (28:57):
And day one there were more of those I did.
I saw a sure posted and I was like, oh, Bobby,
he's got this. Look at these goofy old dudes. If
you look at my team.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Once the teams got down, it's like five college basketball players,
me and two other dudes.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
And I'm in the back row and I'm on my
tiptoes and I'm.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
Still not a tall says the guy that went to
the hospital.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
Okay he is.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
Yeah, he like tour his cap or something, hurt his calf.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
W wow.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Yeah he came another guy hurt his back and does.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
He get a refund?
Speaker 1 (29:21):
I don't think so mine. You went to like charity,
that's part of the deal of the school. Yeah, you
hurt yourself, you heard yourself. Yeah, but I hey, I
was no alehen Iverson. I'll tell you that, but I
did it. I'll tell you I'm going to owe you
in just second. So I went to Norman to watch
O You and Tulane play. I've been invited out by
the Oklahoma football team and the athletic director Joe c
(29:43):
who I love, and they were like, hey, you knew Toby.
We're having somebody come out between third and fourth quarter
every game. I don't know if it's this season or forever,
and just kind of set up the Toby Keiths tribute.
Toby was a massive Ou fan, and I was like,
I would I would love to. So did the basketball
camp in Arkansas and drove over to Norman on Saturday
(30:05):
and wore an iHeart Toby t shirt and I got
a shout out to Oklahoma people because they know that
I'm not a Sooner. I'm not gonna and out of respect.
I'm not gonna fake like I'm a Sooner. And there's
a lot of respect there. And they were awesome. They
were super warm to me, and I loved it and
they were so kind and so they were also really kind.
They put the Arkansas game in the suite, they gave
(30:26):
tickets to Oh dude, they were a plus.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
It was awesome. So I and Toby was very much
involved in this.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
UH children like a children's hospital, sick kids organization. And
so I had one of the kids with me and
we went out and Oklahoma Children's is what it is,
that children's hospital there, And so we went out between
third and fourth quarter and we were going to do
Red Solo Cup, which was the plan because they were
going to change the song up, but because it was
so close to nine to eleven, I think the same
(30:56):
week they ended up doing Courtesy the Red, White and
Blue again. So I think a lot of the fans
think they're doing that song every week. I don't think
that's the case. I think they are going to switch
it up. But went out and said They were like, hey,
so whatever you want, you have twenty thirty seconds to
do whatever. But in a stadium like that, it's not
like you can get out and do a ted talk
because one there's a net, it's delay, it's massive. People
(31:19):
don't want to hear you do a routine of any kind.
So I just said, and the kid's name was Baker.
They named the kids for Baker Mayfield, who's quarterback at
Oh You so shout out Baker's family, and so Baker
and I walk out and I just said, I'm here
with Baker from Oklahoma children. There's no more of an
Oklahoma name than Baker. And there were people that were
(31:41):
were in Toby's shirts too at the game, and I
was I can tell much Toby was loved here. I
can tell buy all the shirts Oklahoma obviously missus Toby,
Coutry music, Missus Toby. And then I was super honored
to be asked to do this. And you go up
to the board and it's Toby talking and the whole
crowd sings to the song. So really cool tradition they're
starting there. Like Toby Keith was an oh you fan
(32:03):
like I'm an Arkansas fan. He's an oh you fan like.
He loved it, So to be asked to do that
was really special. And spent the time with his wife
before and no, just they treated me so great and
I'm very grateful and I'm super honored they would ask
me to do that, especially so early because they had
Toby's daughter do week one, Bob Studs do week two,
and me do week three, and so I thought it
(32:25):
was great Oklahoma one. Thank goodness. My in laws were happy.
Oh yeah, they were more concerned about me because Arkansas
was losing for a lot of the game. We ended
up beating the University of Alabama Birmingham. Thank God.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
I would have been a really tough one to I mean,
I know.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
It was already tough just winning by ten. Don't worry,
don't get me wrong. So yes, yeah it was. It
was a really wonderful experience. And oh, you has this
thing where it's their wa Arkansas is a really good
one too. You has a really good one though with
actual championships where there it's like to walk out and
they show all the championship just with like Brian Bosworth
and Stuti.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
It's awesome.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
That's cool game day experience. There's good They're playing Tennessee
this week. It was gonna be so Archell's playing Auburn.
I'm more concerned with the Arkansas Auburn game. But big
shout out to everybody in Norman because you really treated
me wonderful and you didn't have to do it, you
didn't have to invite me to do it. I'm very
grateful and thankful, so with my family because they treated
my family so good, to my wife and her parents,
which are massive Oklahoma fans. So that's it.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
It looks awesome.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Yeah, there's some pictures by the way, on my Instagram,
mister Bobby Bones if you want to see them. So
I was worried they'd boo me. No you thought you
thought they were not because they hate me. But it's
just like what's the Arkansas guy doing down there? More?
Speaker 5 (33:42):
Or instead of boo I hear oo? But it's actually
who like who's that?
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Who?
Speaker 6 (33:47):
Who that is?
Speaker 5 (33:49):
But it was amazing and thank you everybody. We talked
about my weekend?
Speaker 1 (33:54):
What about yours? It was really good.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
I had my kids this weekend and we went to
the movies, which well I saw It Ends with Us
and Stevenson saw Beetlejuice.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Oh he split it up.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Yeah, the kids went to the kids' theater and the
adults went to the adult Do you guys do that?
So we hadn't ever done it before. And I don't
know why. I never thought my son might not know
etiquette in a theater. And I know sometimes he talks
a lot, which Toashira gets very annoyed by, and I
think if she had been in the theater with him,
she would have set him straight.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
Wait, why do you think he didn't have etiquette?
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (34:27):
Because when him and his friend got in the car
and we were leaving. His friend was coming home with us,
and they were in the back stet laughing about All
I could hear was little whispers. And then I heard
Stephen say, but I don't think they left because of us,
And that got my attention, and I said, you don't think.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Who left because of you?
Speaker 4 (34:42):
Some people in the movie. And I said, why would
you even think for a second maybe they left because
of you? And his friend's like because we were being loud,
and then they both start laughing really loud and obnoxiously,
and I said, well, were you laughing like that? And
they were like yeah, And then we were talking ring
the boring parts, and I was like, I'm mortified. My
(35:04):
child is And I was like, well, you have lost
privileges of going to.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
A movie, punishing it for something he didn't even get
caught doing.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
I'll talk about this people that are annoying in the
movie theater is it's unacceptable.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
But you can have that talk. You don't have to
punish its fourteen shot him doing it.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
You have it.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
No, they were I didn't catch him. I didn't have to.
They were admitting, no, they were just talking though during
the boring parts you're supposed to be quiet?
Speaker 1 (35:29):
What was punishment?
Speaker 5 (35:30):
He didn't even get caught doing it.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Didn't watch the movie anymore, just sit now until he
came his eyes from watch nothing until he learns how
to behave in the movie theater.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
But how does he learn if he doesn't know how to.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Do We're gonna watch a movie at home and if
he can, like show me how he act?
Speaker 5 (35:46):
Yeah, he was mom, of course he gonna be quiet.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
No, I don't know. He really struggles.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
He for sure was loud in the movie, but he
didn't get caught being loud.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
I mean they were having a great time though, like
they thought whatever they were doing was hilarious. And I'm like,
and I I escorted him in there to sit down,
like because his friend beat him there, so I had
to like take him in and show Moore's friend was
sending down and they were right in the middle of
the theater.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
How did you like the movie?
Speaker 4 (36:08):
They said, Well, first of all, he's never seen Beatlejuice one,
so but his that's what his friend want to see,
so he went so without knowing anything. He said he
liked it, and he gave the funny parts of five
and the gross parts.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Of one, but out of what five or ten?
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Five out of five love the funny parts, gross parts,
he said, disgusting one.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Doing it?
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Got it?
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Oh gosh, I hope that. I didn't think they'd So.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
He got punished for something he didn't even get caught doing.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
No, he outed himself.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
They were just talking in the car. I have trouble
with that one.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
And if you're the people in the movie theater, would
you leave?
Speaker 4 (36:43):
I don't know if they left because of them. We
still don't know that. That's up in the air. That's
just what triggered the conversation.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Got it, lunchbox? Your weekend?
Speaker 2 (36:51):
What do we do this weekend?
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (36:52):
We knew. I was going to ask your weekend? Next
right and go to Amy. Then I go to you.
We do this every show. I know you get him
and we play weird you'd ask me. Let me think.
We played in the rain.
Speaker 8 (37:03):
I mean it rained a lot on Saturday, so we
went jumped in puddles and that's.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Good and free.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Yeah, it was free entertainment.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
I like that.
Speaker 8 (37:10):
We did that for a good hour hour and a half.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
I mean that was what else? No kids?
Speaker 8 (37:19):
Yeah, the kids?
Speaker 6 (37:21):
You know.
Speaker 8 (37:21):
I was run up and down the street and I
was just out there with them, no shirt on, jumping
in puddles.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
It's fun. That was my weekend, all weekend.
Speaker 8 (37:30):
No, we went to the Sounds game on Friday night.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
You could have led with that one. That sounds fun. Yeah, yeah,
that's an actual event, like a minor league baseball game.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
With Okay, yeah, Eddie, huh, I don't know, let me
take about interesting.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
I wasn't prepared.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
No, we just you know, watched a stupid football game
on Sunday. Yeah, they lost, boy, like eighty points and
by a lot they got.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
It was terrible. So there was that.
Speaker 6 (38:01):
My kids played basketball, they had a football game on
Saturday too, just sports, sports, sports. I said, Man, that's
my life every day, every weekend.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
But you've allowed that.
Speaker 6 (38:09):
Yeah, yeah, it's just a certain After like ten losses
for one weekend, you start feeling like a loser. I
felt that my kids lost the football game, and then
the Cowboys lost, and then we took my son to
a basketball game they lost.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
So just the whole week was like, man, a big loser.
Lots of l's, a lot of l's. Morgan.
Speaker 7 (38:27):
I was in a wedding.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
I saw that here.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
Yeah, I was in Franklin, Tennessee.
Speaker 11 (38:31):
Was at a place called Greystone Corey, you know, super pretty,
but it rained all day during.
Speaker 4 (38:35):
The wedding, which was a thing.
Speaker 8 (38:38):
Did not jump in the puddles.
Speaker 4 (38:39):
It is an outdoor wedding.
Speaker 11 (38:40):
Originally no, it was an indoor but like we couldn't
go outside and take any photos or anything at the beginning,
and then over the course of the day, I think
she just allowed it to be what it was, so
it was really good. I have another wedding coming up
next weekend that I'm also in, so that's that age.
Speaker 8 (38:57):
I'm so excited for next week to be over, though
it'll be done for.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
This year finally twenty seven to thirty three. It's just
like wedding central if you have friends, yeah, was like, yeah,
she has a lot, well more than to ride social
yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
And then it's just like it's probably pretty awkward for her.
Speaker 8 (39:14):
Thanks lunch, because why, that's why she's ready for it
to be over, is what I took that with her comment.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
Was she's never the one get like, but I don't
think she was like getting married. She wasn't like at
the altar guys and he didn't show up.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
But I bet she peached this wedding like she posted
a picture.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
I saw a picture. Yeah, yeah, it's funny.
Speaker 8 (39:34):
Yeah, that's that's a big for It's from.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Twenty seven dresses. It's a movie quote. Well no, it's
actually from like life. People said that.
Speaker 8 (39:41):
Yeah, but it's also Hey, guys, tell me how great
I am.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
And I'm going to find the one.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
You think it's fishing. Oh no, it's the same.
Speaker 4 (39:50):
I also did it right, never a bride.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
I just said, always a bridesmaid. I literally didn't fish it.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
It's a saying.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
It's not exact fish.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
No, it's not fishing. Disagree.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Was it sympathy fishing, Eddie? No, throw the line fishing? Okay,
let's vote. Let's vote if she was simpty fishing or not. No,
no lunchboxes eddie fishing, Mike.
Speaker 9 (40:13):
Bobby, it's I mean, you can use that quote for sports,
oh cowboys man, always a bride by the bride?
Speaker 4 (40:21):
Well yeah, yeah, like loser.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
So you don't think that in reflection of her situation,
even though she hold on everybody relaxed, even though she
was at a wedding. It's not literal. That's just a
figure out, I know, But you don't think she was
saying that in reflection of our current personal situation. No, okay,
so you vote not fishing scuba. I mean it's a
little fishing. Yeah, no, Bobby thought I thought it was
(40:47):
a little fishing. I don't feel like she would have
posted that had she had her boyfriend and were like,
hey you guys.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
Yeah, because that would be pressure of like I want
to get married.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Well, I feel like it was based on her personal
situation reflect it into that caption. You know, we convinced you.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
No, I'm not convinced. I think that that's like a
It's just a thing. Sometimes you see people say that,
I've been in a lot of wedding I don't.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Think you know you're not right. You know, I can tell.
I can tell by your face you know you're not right.
Speaker 8 (41:16):
It was a wedding nice all, Yeah, it was really nice.
I had a good time. And I didn't call you
a loser.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
No, I called the Cowboys a loser.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Weekend Yeah, yeah, a bunch of country as Honestly, what
did I do?
Speaker 9 (41:29):
I installed a little golf thing in my back patio,
so now I can just watch TV on the patio
and then golf in between the games. And then we
went to a country bar. Baser drove. It was epic,
played the ring game.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
What does it matter if she drove, because then I
can get loaded. Oh but she can't. Yeah, she doesn't
really drink that much anymore, so she uh so, then
yeah I drank.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
It was great.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
You didn't say who drove me? You just get to
a bar, right amy. And then the UFC fights, I
mean it was absolutely massive. We went over to the
neighbors and lose.
Speaker 9 (41:59):
Yeah, over like two in the morning.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
It was so late, dude, was so late. All you
got there's I was a no chance I was staying
up to watch that. Watch it in the morning, right, yeah.
Speaker 8 (42:08):
But it usually ends at midnight. But the problem is
it was Mexican independence or.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Heritage, and they were playing, right, Hispanic heritage, Mexican independence,
it a Hispanic heritage whatever.
Speaker 8 (42:21):
They were playing videos in between every fight. The videos
were like fifteen minutes long each, and so it went
an extra hour and a half. It was like, oh
my gosh, like I understand, that's great, but started earlier then,
I sound so what Hispanic heritage or ten minutes the
fights earlier? So the videos it still ends at midnight.
They stayed up till one thirty for the fights.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
Unacceptable and it sounds like anybody had a fair. We
had a weekend, a fair weekend, got puddle jump in
free puddle jumping fishing.
Speaker 11 (42:50):
In the comments, I would like to bring up the
I bring up my breakup lunch box?
Speaker 4 (42:56):
It did?
Speaker 1 (42:58):
You are like your time will come more?
Speaker 3 (43:01):
That's what.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Comments?
Speaker 4 (43:06):
Oh, okay that I didn't even bring any of this up.
Speaker 8 (43:09):
You guys did I said I went to a wedding and.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
I was in a wedding.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
Okay, you said you posted on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
I did not say that.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Who did?
Speaker 1 (43:15):
I said I saw it? I did. Okay, so I
do not bring any of this up.
Speaker 8 (43:20):
Hey, you guys, this was me. I was almost a
real life twenty seven Dresses until it happened unexpectedly and
out of the blue. To be honest, mirroring later in
life made more sense. Be patient, he's out there.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Okay, we'll happen.
Speaker 8 (43:33):
I can't judge what people make comments on.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Okay, we're done, all right, thank you man. Okay, now
we're good. We're good, We're doing thank you.
Speaker 5 (43:42):
I mean, how many members of the Jackson five can
you name?
Speaker 1 (43:45):
The old School two go Tito, Michael, correct, I mean
for most it's probably it.
Speaker 5 (43:54):
Tito died.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
That's why I asked that it's the Really, I don't
know that you guys, but he's the only one I knew,
y Street, No, dude. Jackson five member Tito Jackson is
dead at the age of seventy. Passed away yesterday. I
suffered a heart attack while driving. The third of ten children,
Tito was an original member of the Jackson Five. Tito
had been touring with Jackie and Marlon as the Jackson's.
(44:17):
Besides being the family group, Tito released two solo albums.
T Yeah, I just wondered if you knew even.
Speaker 5 (44:21):
Who Tito was.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
No, I just I don't know why that name stuck.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
You guys act like he's your cousin. Well, he's the
only one we knew.
Speaker 6 (44:28):
And Jermaine I knew him too, Jermaine Jackson right, Oh crap,
Maybe he's not a Jackson.
Speaker 4 (44:34):
Maybe Janet, No, there's ten of them.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Janet. Janet wasn't a Jackson. She was the Jackson five.
But I wanted Jermain Jackson might have been Jackson five.
I feel like he is. And Tito and Marlowe Jermaine
is one. Marlin Jermaine is one. I don't know if
he's Jackson five, but he definitely was a Jackson brother.
Maybe was at Marlowe. I think he said Marlin Marlon Marlowe,
Marlin Marlon Marlowe, Randy Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jacksonson was part
(45:00):
of Jackson five. I did not know different Randy, Randy Jackson,
Different Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson. That's a funny name.
Don't name your kid Jackie Jackson, Jackie jack Jackson, Jackie Jackson.
What do they do?
Speaker 2 (45:13):
What is Jackie doing?
Speaker 10 (45:14):
Though?
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Well, he was touring with Tito. They just said Tito
Jermaine bass guitar, Michael Jackson.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
There's six in the Jackson five, the Jackson five letter
of the Jackson I guess cause they had a different
one bones and I think Tito was the oldest brother.
Could be making that up, uh, Tito if he was seventy,
probably could be from oldest to youngest rebby Jackie Tito.
Speaker 2 (45:41):
If yeah, you forgot about Rito.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
They found an original trended archetype of the US Constitution,
signed by Secretary of Congress Charles Thompson. They found it
like this past weekend. I think where in a in
a document in like a cabinet. The Revolutionary document was
discovered in twenty I guess they're just now not they
put it up. I guess they didn't find it. I
saw the story that I thought they found it and
(46:06):
was discovered at a farm in North Carolina. The rare
piece of history was pulled from old filing cabinet while
the house was being prepared for sale. The one hundred
and eighty four acre plantation property was purchased by a
former North Carolina governor, Samuel Johnston, at seventeen sixty five.
The document is one of only eight known surviving signed
ratification copies and the only known copy in private hands.
(46:28):
The bidding will start at one million dollars. Ooh, but
if it's starting at one million, it's going to go
for far, far, far more. That's when Fox News they
just found that.
Speaker 5 (46:36):
I'd see that and just thought away, hmm, it just
looks like old paper.
Speaker 4 (46:39):
I'm sure it.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
It's like a ceiling.
Speaker 6 (46:42):
It's a version of the Constitution, So then it would
say we the people on it. You wouldn't throw that away.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
I'm telling you. I wouldn't look at it.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
There's a bunch of papers.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
You wouldn't look at an old, old, old paper like that.
It looks when they were cleaning this place out, it
looks like a dump. It looks like quarters, a whole
bunch of old crap. They're just getting rid of stuff.
And in my house, if the constition was in there,
I wouldn't know.
Speaker 5 (47:04):
I just thought it away.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
I would be like, what is this doing here?
Speaker 10 (47:06):
Throw?
Speaker 1 (47:07):
But that's pretty wild that they found that. I saw
Christiano Ronaldo has a billion social media followers now b
a billion. He was holding up a big sign like
a something. I don't know, but that's just crazy how
we don't care about soccer in America but we do.
We do know him though we know him. We know him, Yeah,
(47:28):
we know, but we know a few of them. But
I'm saying in general soccer. Let's rank the sports football
football one, basketball two, baseball three.
Speaker 8 (47:37):
Well do you think basketball is out of baseball?
Speaker 1 (47:40):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, more people watch basketball. Baseball is
very very regional, like city based. Uh so, probably hockey
at four. Golf maybe ahead of hockey, but I put them,
but they're at four and five. Major tournaments. Yeah, I
mean I put soccer and tennis around the same now,
So soccer is not a top five.
Speaker 6 (48:01):
Sport, even with Major League Soccer because they've tried really
hard to make it part of our culture.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
I mean, I don't think soccer is a top five.
I could be argued into the fifth spot. Also, not
a hill I'm gonna die on cause I don't care
that much. It's just how much matters some like geographically,
you just go down the road or just fly everybody
water and it's like the biggest thing ever. And they
think we're weird because we love American football as the
most like the most passionate thing in sports.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
I watched the Hope solo untold.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
Yeah, she seems like she wouldn't be like like a
fun person to be around.
Speaker 4 (48:37):
But I think she had a I don't know much.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
I don't know much about her, but I mean anytime
that like that one, fox's in the whole team fight
with her all the time.
Speaker 2 (48:45):
Yeah, she was kind of an attitude problem.
Speaker 8 (48:47):
I think, I don't know, they fought with her, but
she fought with her.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
I feel like for some reason which I can't even explain,
that she she doesn't feel like she'd be fun to
hang around, she was a goalie.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
Yeah, I think if you watch it now, obviously it's
it's about her. Verse is United States soccer.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
Who made it her? I mean about her?
Speaker 4 (49:05):
It's the untold Netflix thing. Did it about her? But
she is in it and speaking but ship producer, good question.
But I will say it didn't always shine her in
the best light at all. I felt like there was
a good balance of that. But I do think that
I don't know. I walked away from watching it thinking
(49:26):
that they definitely screwed her over.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
If you produced a documentary on yourself, though, wouldn't you
throw in some dirted up a little bit so people
didn't go, oh, this is just a fun project. Let's
see here, hope so Lo'll Pelly punched nephew have sister
in the face during family scuffle. I felt that that happened. Yeah,
I mean I felt that, But again I could have
easily just that was been encouraged to feel this way
(49:50):
through a bunch of stories, which, again it's not always fair,
but there were a lot of them. Mike, we see
if she was part of that Netflix show like she's
I'm told Yeah, because if so, that would make sense,
and who knows, did you like it?
Speaker 4 (50:07):
I mean, I'm not into soccer at all, and I was.
I watched the whole thing. I think I'm interested.
Speaker 1 (50:13):
Those are all really good because it's not so much
about the sport, but like so many layers.
Speaker 4 (50:18):
And then with her, I mean, then they brought in yes,
it was the equal pay thing and a comment she made,
and like then she got kicked off the team and
later people looking back even that weren't necessarily on her side.
They're like, looking back, if a guy had, like a
basketball athlete, a man had said the same comment, he
wouldn't have been fired from the team. But she was
for whatever reason. But she was ruffling feathers and causing
(50:41):
issues with her equal pay stuff.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
No, I also have been swayed many times in phil ways.
I don't actually feel by just a bunch of media stories.
Speaker 4 (50:50):
So you know, she's she said an inside look at
her life, and it was it. She had a like
difficult life, and she worked incredibly hard to be as
talented and successful as she was and just wild how
just like that it was over for her and she
felt like just abandoned by something she had given her
life to.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
I haven't seen any of the three that have been
out so far. The Steve McNair oneboy watch that one murder.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
Watched on I watched McNair the sign, Steeler and Stallions.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
It's like a hero Steve McNair.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
Yeah, so he was a football player for the Titans
and he had ding ding true. What else do you
want to know? I drove by where the apartment was
that he had.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
So he was murdered.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
He was definitely murdered.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Well, definitely. I don't think they definitely. No, I think
she suicide. Yeah, that's the conclusion. But that's that's what
it has been. What do you think. I've heard people
talk about others.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
They do insinuate.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
They're saying they definitely, But I'm saying I think the
official is definitely murder. I think that's what the law.
I said, that's what the Why do you keep no?
But you're saying definitely. I mean, I think the official
conclusion of that as of now is definitely murdered.
Speaker 4 (52:04):
But there are parts of the documentary that may lead
you to But Eddie said, they're not saying, but they
have said it's like KFK.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
They said Lee Harvey Oswald did it, But is that
really how it happened? But they did say they did.
They definitely said Lee Harvey Oswald. Now there are other
people who feel different, Like I didn't.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
Know this guy at all whatsoever, Like never knew when
he was a thing, don't know nothing, but yes, and
for whatever reason, I was so shocked that he was
cheating and doing all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
I was shocked. What was crazy though? Is he ever
got a David Busters?
Speaker 4 (52:32):
Yeah? They out there.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
You sit there and you're like, this is where he
met his girlfriend. This is crazy, Like there's nothing but kids.
Speaker 5 (52:38):
That you guys shouldn't be shocked at people.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Yeah, I know, they don't know what I know.
Speaker 4 (52:44):
I just thought I don't know. I thought I just
was surprised and that they did. They have a whole apartment.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
I was shocked that he was hanging out with Dave Busters.
That was a shocking partment.
Speaker 4 (52:54):
They all would go there.
Speaker 1 (52:55):
Yeah. No, they love people here, love that new them
that lived here. He was a beloved person. Steve mcneaer
was Did you like it? Yeah, not the murderer again,
but did you like this? I don't We're interested.
Speaker 4 (53:08):
I mean I care about Titans foball now like as
of the last few weeks.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
You don't care that much. Did they win this weekend?
Good question? I know, my friend, they did it.
Speaker 4 (53:20):
Yeah, that weren't They weren't expected to win though, so
easier to accept.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
Okay, okay, so that one theeah.
Speaker 4 (53:26):
So that was really interesting to me because I knew
nothing so much so that reading the title, I thought
he stole like poster board signs, like I didn't know
in the like ads for it, I saw like signs
being held up. But he Wow, what a crazy thing
he did and came up with. But then he sort
(53:48):
of shot himself in the foot.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Not literally figuratively. Have they have? They said if he
shot himself? Yeah, listen, he had a big part to
do with their championship, big part, but the way I
had a big part.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
See, is a lot of people steal science.
Speaker 10 (54:07):
Sure.
Speaker 4 (54:07):
He just was very busy and very dedicated to the credit.
Speaker 5 (54:10):
A lot of people don't get caught right.
Speaker 4 (54:12):
And he was like, hey, Ben, mommy, which.
Speaker 1 (54:15):
One was the best of the three?
Speaker 3 (54:17):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Good question? What was the first one? I forgot? God,
they're pretty well, I hope, so, I hope.
Speaker 4 (54:23):
So they're pretty cool. But there they remind me of
the thirty for thirties because I can get into those
and if I'm not even into the athlete or the sport,
they do a really good job of just telling the story. Sure,
so all three good, all three are good equal.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
Well it's not Tuesday with Tuesday, but little little spot,
little early there for you. All right, thank you Bobby
Bone Show. Today.
Speaker 8 (54:46):
This story comes us from Baltimore, Maryland. Fifth grader's playing
some basketball, you know, and one kid's not getting a
lot of playing time. Dad's in the crowd, going put
my son in, Put my son in. His son doesn't
get in the game. So Dad marches across the court,
pulls a gun on the coach and says, you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Put my son in the game.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Well there's no game. Sorry, you've just canceled the whole game.
By that, Dan just march across the court would be weird.
I can shooes like street clothes.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
Yeah, this is terrible.
Speaker 5 (55:15):
And he pulls a gun.
Speaker 8 (55:16):
So now he's going to prison for eight years.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
Oh no, I would assume somebody that makes this decision
has also made other bad decisions and this isn't his
first defense.
Speaker 2 (55:26):
Yeah, he's had previous crime.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Because you don't just go for eight years, even for
something as terrible as this. So he must have made
other bad decisions as well. His son, ever get in
and he get good. So this is also bad for
the Sun because the rest of the year, even if
the dad's in jail like that, coach is not gonna
be cool with that kid.
Speaker 4 (55:41):
Right, well, hopefully the coach will be extra cool with
the kids, you know, swoop him under and take care
of him like the coaches.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
Did for you. He kind of ruined that game. Yeah,
he ruined the season on pretty much. So kind of
ruin the coach and the trauma. The coach is gonna
have him anybody walking on the court ever, right like that. Okay,
I'm lunchbox. That's your bone head story. That being told
by Eddie that we're celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month starting today.
Yeah all the way, it's a month.
Speaker 5 (56:06):
It's sixteenth today.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (56:08):
For some reason, it goes from September sixteenth to October sixteenth.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
Oh we're not like halfway in a minute. No, we're
in it, baby, Okay, we're celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. How
would you like us to celebrate I.
Speaker 6 (56:20):
Think that me and Raymundo, the hispanics of the show
should talk about what we like about being Hispanic.
Speaker 1 (56:26):
Okay, so we have we have Eddie and Mike d
hispanics and Raymundo, who claims to be Hispanic, but I
don't know that he has one ouncenter. Come on, big shot, Raymundo,
you go first. Why are you happy to be Hispanic?
Speaker 9 (56:41):
Being able to speak Spanish, I feel like it's a
little bit more beautiful of a language than speak to
us in Spanish. Hold on, Miamo Ramundo Santiago as radios
Amigo s Bobby.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
Bobby. People often confused Raymundo and Eddie. Raymundo is Midwestern.
It's so annoying. He is from Michigan. He got a
twenty three and meters or one of those, and it
had like zero point one percent Hispanic. So it changed
his name from Ray to Raymundo because of that. Santiago.
Speaker 5 (57:17):
It's our fault. It's our fault. We let it stick
like an idiot.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
We let Raymundo Santiago star. I've never heard of that. Yeah, yeah,
your middle name is Santiago.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
No.
Speaker 9 (57:27):
When I did Spanish, they said slater translates to Santiago.
Speaker 3 (57:30):
No.
