Speaker 1 (00:03):
Transmitting America.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Aliza, I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to
Monday Show Morning Studio Morning. Okay, Amy, what happened with
your driver's test your driver's license?
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Well, if y'all recall, I believe a couple of months ago,
I informed all that I needed to renew my license
and that I was like, coming up, there was going
to be a deadline where if I didn't do it
by that point, I was gonna have to retake the test,
and y'all were like, don't book your appointment. Wait, wait
till we have to retake the test. And at the time,
I was like, okay, fine, you know, do it for
(00:41):
do it for the show, Like yeah, let's see if
I can take the test now, and how I would do.
And now that time has come where I've missed the deadline,
and now if I want a new driver's license because
mine has expired, my only option is to take a test.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
But you didn't do that for us. You just forgot.
Now you're blaming you.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
No, I didn't forget.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
We said that.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Yeah, yeah, I don't believe. I don't believe you because
you forget a lot of.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I don't have the tape so I can't pull it.
But surely somebody in here remembers that. You're like, Amy,
please please don't go overnew it take the test.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
But I didn't think you would do it. There's no
way because you forgot to.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Do the lottery.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I keep a good calendar. That was last minute.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Do we believe she forgot on purpose? No, because I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
I mean maybe I guess I forgot maybe the show.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Maybe, way, I don't somebody anybody.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Amy, I'm gonna have your back, Bobby, you did.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I know we said it, but I'm saying she didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
I don't think she didn't do it because of the show.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I know we said it was like, yeah, this will
be fun, I'll do it. I'm just saying the time
has come and now I'm you know, we talk about
regrets sometimes, and this is my show regrets. It's like
at the time I was with you and I was like, yeah,
that'll be fun. Then I can tell y'all like, oh,
this was on the test, or these are the questions
I missed, or I barely passed, or I passed with
flying colors, or I failed the worst case scenario.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
So what do you have to do here? Like take
a drug, like get in a car with someone and
take that test.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
I don't know all the details yet, but I'm sure
I have to take the written test. I would imagine
it's just the written You think I have to physically
get in the car with somebody.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Maybe if you have to redo the test?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Well, what about the test we took on the show
like two years ago? Does that count? We had a
legit driver's that guy?
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Well, we didn't know there wasn't the risk of losing
our lives.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
But I think I was voted best driver by him.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I didn't do that. And when we did our driver
test out in the car, didn't you finish last?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
No? I think I was first.
Speaker 6 (02:30):
But he also said, oh, you know, my daughter goes
your daughter goes to my driving school.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
So I'm gonna give you extra points for that.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I mean, oh, maybe I hired him.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
So then what do you have to do? You have
to go? Do you have a license right now?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
No, it's expired. I have to go everywhere with my passport.
In fact, we went out and give it.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
It doesn't work.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Does you can't drive?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
It's correct, but if you want to, Like we went
out to dinner the other night and I ordered a
drink and they were like, can I see your eye D?
And I had to give them.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
That works in Tennessee.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
The road works. But yes, I have to carry my
passport to fly passport even if I'm going domestic to
order a cocktail passport. But if I get pulled, I
can drive.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
I get pulled, you're physically able to drive.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Drive without it.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I mean I'm driving, yes, to come to work today. Illegal?
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Oh my god, Hey, she said me.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, I'm bringing it.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
And it's all our fault, breaking the law. Ask to what,
I don't believe. I'm not subscribing to the theory that
she purposes.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
That is not your fault. I did it with I
joined in on the plan. But now that the time
has come and I'm fully expired, and now my only
option and I got to get a real I D.
So I have to get that's I mean, I'd have
to get a new license anyway because mine's not real.
But now I have to take a test.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
When do you take the test?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Well, here's the thing, my son's fifteen.
Speaker 7 (03:59):
No.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
But I was like to see Canna start drivers that soon,
so like we go together. I'd be like a non
traditional non traditional. Yeah, so I don't know if anybody
else is in my shoes. You're not alone. I feel you.
It sucks. We just have to do it. Or let's
see how long can I last with an inspired license?
Speaker 2 (04:18):
No, that's not a fun game, it's not.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
And how long can I last?
Speaker 5 (04:22):
See?
Speaker 2 (04:23):
This is how it starts, Amy, This is what you do.
And then you're gonna blame it on us, Yes, because
I do think I was encouraging her all that, But
I just don't think she did that on purpose.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
No, I did. I let it run out on purpose
because also I wasn't looking forward to going to renew
my life.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
That.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
But now that we're here, I'm like, why didn't I
just do it back then? And it's because everyone's trying
to get the real idea? The lines are long, isn't
that over?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I think everyone has their real life.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Its back a couple of months ago. That was those
were news stories. It's like lines wrapped around the building.
You're never going to get your real ID. And so
then I tell y'all I need to go do this
because I have to renew it. And then y'all had
the brilliant plan that I just put it.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Off it's us. I guess I'm telling you. I do
not take the blame for this. Okay, let me ask
you an you can't take the blame.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I'm an adult. I made the decision.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
But would you ask some general knowledge driving questions for
a driving test? Because my co host has to take
the driving test. We'll do that in a second. I'm
gonna get the questions. We'll ask them to Amy coming up.
We'll see how you do. Okay, Anonymous sin by.
Speaker 9 (05:36):
Anonymous sin by the question to be.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
Well.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Hello, Bobby Bones. My girlfriend picked out an engagement ring
she really loves, but it's out of my budget. But
she wants to get engaged soon, so I've been thinking
about whether it's reasonable to ask her to help pay
for it since it's the ring she really wants. Do
you think it's okay for a guy to ask his
girlfriend to chip in for the ring? Or should I
just wait longer to propose so I can save up
for the ring? Appreciate your honest advice on this, Signed
(06:12):
budgeting boyfriend. This pretty easy one because if you've already
talked about the ring, meaning it's not going to be
a surprise. If that is not something that is important
to you to do a complete I'm shocked surprise proposal. Then,
I don't think it's out of the realm of what's
acceptable to go to her and actually present her with
(06:33):
this to go. This is the ring that you want.
I can't afford that right now. What do you want
me to do? I don't think that's bad. I'm not
saying you have to demand she chips in, But if
you're like, I know you want this ring, I can't
afford that right now. So what would you like? I can.
I would love to propose sooner than later. I won't
tell you exactly when, but I can't afford this ring.
So I can take out a loan that we're all
going to that we're both gonna have to pay back. Yeah,
(06:55):
so that's gonna be on both of us. Or if
you wanted to chip in that fine, or your dad
or mom or whomever, or we can just wait, Like,
I will give you the option on what to do.
I don't think that that is an unacceptable option here. Okay,
you've grown in a couple of times.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Because I can't see a scenario and maybe I need
to think through it longer. But I don't like him
asking her to chip in, and I know that's not
how you presented it. You presented it more like, hey,
this is the situation, So what do you want to
do about it? I guess I would just advise them
to wait and save.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
And what if she's like pressing him though, because that happens,
like we are you ever going to.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Propose to back off? I'm saving money?
Speaker 2 (07:37):
You say that? Back off lady?
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Yeah, just ring or not?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
So tell her to get your ring. I'm going to
have to wait.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
I don't. I don't know, because we're now we're inserting
that she's pressuring. Maybe she's not, and she can be patient.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Wants to know.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I'm gonna read this line again. She wants to get
engaged soon. Okay, he wrote that in the emails, And.
Speaker 10 (07:59):
Would you be willing to.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Like if he said, if he said, like, look, I
can afford this, I really can't afford what you want,
would you be willing to downgrade?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Gosh?
Speaker 3 (08:11):
I guess I don't know.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
I have not.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
The one time I did get engaged, I had no say.
I guess I said, I liked a round, and he
went to my sister and then he picked out the ring.
And that's what I was proposed like, there was no like,
this is the ring I want. So I don't know
that I'm that type of person to be like this
is exactly what I want and it must be this.
Like I guess I don't want to be really a
part of it. I want you to propose to me
and me not be involved in that process at all.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
But she is involved because she's already showed him a ring,
and that's what the question comes from. If she's already
showing it to him, she has expressed her desire to
have it. There's been communication about the ring and the proposal,
and I think because there's already been communication, you could
continue to communicate inside of it. The only time that
I wouldn't do that is if it's all going to
be a surprise. It's all gonna be a surprised you
have to make that decision. You're gonna wait, you're gonna
(08:57):
take out a bigger loan, you're gonna what, you're gonna
just but it's not a surprise.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I guess if it's that important to her, then yeah,
she might be willing to throw downs for it.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
And maybe she won't. But I do think you since
there has been communication. You keep communicating about it and go,
I know you want the ring. I want to look
at it. I can't afford it right now. Here are
the options we wait longer, I save up. Two, I
take out a loan. We're both gonna have to pay
that back.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
You make a good point there, because she's gonna have
to pay for it anyway, if they take out a loan.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Three, if you want it now, if your parents or
you can even do that, your parents want to chip in,
I would love to take that if you want to
get married sooner than later, because it's irresponsible otherwise to
get that ring.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Yeah, that's tough one.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
That is because I do not ever want to be
asked you want to pitch in for your ring?
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Nobody does. I don't think there's a single person that
wants to be asked that. And that's not my point
it or his point. It's like he's already in the
situation where they're talking about it, so what does he do?
And I think you just keep talking about it.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I think I've decided to Eddie's question, I guess I
would downgrade whatever. If I really wanted to get engaged
asap get married, then okay, whatever we can whatever you
can afford at the time, let's do it and then
we upgrade later. If that's really.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I know, I know, yeah, I would just keep communicating
because that that barrier has already been broken, So have
at it, good luck, let us know what happens there.
We were in Las Vegas over the weekend for iHeartRadio
Music Festival is a great time. I'm exhausted. I get
so dehydrated. I was in the airport yesterday and leaving Vegas.
That airport situation is the worst because it's a Sunday,
(10:32):
it's in the morning, so everybody's trying to get out,
and everybody's also exhausted and dehydrated, so it's just a mess.
And you get there in their lines and I shout
out because those big lines move relatively fast. But I
got I don't know ten minutes into the line, I know,
started bleeding.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Oh from the from the air from.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Just being in Vegas. It sucked. It would not stop bleeding.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
So I take up toilet paper, and I've had nose
bleeds my whole life, and so I just cram it
up my nose. And I saw a couple of people
that I knew while at the airport and I didn't forget,
but I just don't think about it. And they're looking
at my nose and they want to tell me I
have something in my nose, But then then they're wondering,
do I know I got something in my nose?
Speaker 5 (11:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
It was a mess. It is a mess.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
But the festival was great.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
John Fogerty is the lead singer of Creeden's clear Water Revival.
They were massive in the sixties and seventies. He's eighty
years old and he's a legend. But he's also eighty.
But he went up and he's sang like he was thirty.
It was crazy that an eighty year old could go
that hard. Offspring. I was telling my wife last night.
I was like, I watched The Offspring. She's like, I
don't know who that is.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
And I was like, yeah, you wouldn't you.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Know because she's what thirty thirty, Yeah, something like that,
And she was like yeah, And then I tried to
sing her. I saw a couple songs. I said, you
wouldn't know the early stuff. You got to keep them separated, damn,
but you may know like their later stuff. It was
like all the girls says pretty fly for a white guy.
She's like, nah, and it sounds stupid, and I was like, okay,
(12:07):
fair enough.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
My niece is twenty one. And she loved everybody like
she thought like from the even the people she didn't know,
like John Fogerty. She does not know who that is.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
It's great.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
She just stayed from start to finish.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
She did.
Speaker 9 (12:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Yeah, it was a great show.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Big thanks to Hyundai for sponsoring our House of Music,
our twenty twenty five iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
It was incredible and get ready to.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Relive the once in a lifetime moments starting October second,
only on Hulu.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
I'll tell you one other story.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I go and I just wanted to prove to everybody
that I'm not the luckiest person in the world. And
so I go and I'm like, okay, I have four
hundred bucks. So I go to the crabs table and
I put four hundred bucks down.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
I'm by myself.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I don't really didnt see anybody unless we were doing
shows a who weekend. I was bout myself a weekend.
And so I go and I put the money down
on the crabs table.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
And I win. I win some in Ali I'm like
a sixteen hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
So this was you trying to prove well.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
I was just documenting it to show So what did
it prove?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Well that you've won.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
It proved that I won that one time.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
So the next day I go back and buy myself again,
and I put four hundred bucks on a slot machine.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Lose all four hundred of it gone.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Okay, So at this point it's a slot machine.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Okay, but luck's luck.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, your luck is over there at rule.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
At this point, I'm like, okay, So I was up
twelve hundred at that point, so then four hundred. So
I'm up eight hundred bucks, but all I have in
my pocket is like one hundred fifty dollars hundred sixty dollars.
I go back to the crafts table and I went
like twenty two hundred bucks, and so I'm way up
at this point.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Now here's where the luck separates itself and winning separates
itself from just being lucky. I didn't go back the
whole rest of the weekend. Why am I going to
go back and lose it? Because if I'd gone back,
I would have lost it, no doubt. So that was
me making the conscious decision to take the money that
I had won and not gamble it back, because that's
how people lose money.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
I'm sort of computed. So you came out ahead of.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Course, correct, So you'll want to.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Because people believe vegas in.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
The because they don't stop. Have had these guys.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
People don't win anything.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Had. These guys lose everything. This guy found money on
the ground. Don't listen to them. They found me.
Speaker 11 (14:10):
I did.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
I found one hundred dollars and then what did I
do with it? I went to the roulette table, bit
on red tolled it up. No hundred dollars bill, That's.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
What I'm saying. So there's luck everywhere.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
I was lucky.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
It's just what you do with it.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
So did you turn it? What did you turn it into?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Two hundred? And then I lost it?
Speaker 4 (14:29):
See how he just quit? So lucky?
Speaker 3 (14:34):
You like one a lot? A lot, dude, I know
you have to play a lot to win a lot.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
I didn't play a lot, and lucky for you too.
You're smart, so you quit.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
That's I don't think that me being smart as lucky. Oh,
I think that's going through a lot of crap and
losing it all. Back and then deciding, Hey, the best
thing for me to do is just kind of to
shut it down.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
But it was a great It was a great Vegas.
iHeart weekend.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Just generally speaking, the show is awesome and again thanks
to Hundai for uh being a big part part of it.
If you go to the podcast today which will be up,
it's a backstage interview with Jelly Roll and a backstage
interview with Bailey Zimmerman on the podcast feed. And Yeah,
my nose is doing pretty Good's still little drug? I
have little believe this morning. Still, but yeah, doing pretty good.
If you missed it, Amy let her license expire. She
(15:18):
has to go retake the driver's test to get her
license back. She's currently driving illegally. I'm surprised you said that.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Well, I mean, but the whole that's known from this
whole segment, I know to verbalize it.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, I'm glad. It's funny. But you could have been
like I uber and we knew you didn't you imagine
ubering everywhere? Okay, here we go. A triangular red and
white sign means what.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
A try? Oh m, a triangular red and white I
have all the questions. I don't have the answers like
a triangular yellow this morning hazard.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
A triangular red and white sign.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
A triangle red and white.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah, do you know that red and white? I would
think that's do not enter. No, it's not. What is
it like?
Speaker 9 (16:07):
It is?
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Yield?
Speaker 2 (16:08):
It's just upside down?
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Oh you didn't.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
They're gonna take my license too. I'm gonna don't show
up and take my license. Triangular red and.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
White, upside down triangle.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I can't picture it my head.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yes, just turn the triangle upside down and says yield
on it.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
A flashing red traffic light means.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
What stop like a stop sign and then turn.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, stop completely right and then proceed. Yes, I would
think that's what that.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Would then go straight?
Speaker 9 (16:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
What does a solid yellow line on your side of
the road mean?
Speaker 3 (16:41):
It means solid? Is it yellow or white? Solid yellow
means I gotta stay in my lane. I can't cross
like in life has to be dotted.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
Stay in your.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Lane, yeah, yeah, stay on my side of the street.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
What does a solid yellow line on your side of
the road mean?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
Don't cross?
Speaker 2 (16:58):
What is your answer?
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Don't cross? Stay on your side of the lane.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
I would think it means no passing.
Speaker 10 (17:05):
Don't pass?
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah, no, passing.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
That's the same thing. If you pass your leaving your
side of the street, you're crossing.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Okay, you know, fair enough? Next yeah, next up. What's
the legal blood alcohol concentration limit for most adult drivers
in the US?
Speaker 3 (17:23):
I do not know, but uh I hear point eight
a lot or point eight or that'd be deadly eight
or eight point eight.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
There you go the answer. I believe.
Speaker 8 (17:39):
So.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
I mean, that's what I would guess.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
When approaching a school bus with flashing red lights, what
do you do?
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Stop and immediately until it goes away. I'll mess with that.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Stop and remain stopped until the lights on the bus
stop flashing it. That's that one. If you miss your
exit on the highway, I'm gonna give you some options here.
You should stop and back up carefully, keep going.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Could be that never happened.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Make a U turn in the median, go to the
next exit and turn around, or pull on to the
shoulder and reverse there.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Go to the next exit and turn around.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yes, okay, how about this one. When parallel parking, your
vehicle's wheels should be within how many inches of the curb?
Speaker 9 (18:36):
What like?
Speaker 4 (18:38):
That's tough as.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Loose as possible. Without damaging the rims or.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Just like it anybody's scratch. When you feel it, anybody's scratch,
you know you're just close enough.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Yeah, I've never I didn't know there was a measurement.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
But let me give you some options.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Sure, take options.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
When parallel parking, your vehicles will be within how many
inches of the curb? A six inches, B twelve inches,
C eighteen inches or D twenty four inches six inches?
Speaker 4 (19:09):
It's B twelve inches a foot, but it could be
twelve Well, you.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Know what I mean. You know what if you're six?
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Bonus?
Speaker 3 (19:16):
If you're six, you are skilled, and I am a
talented parallel parker.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I'll give you one more. If you are involved in
a minor collision with a parked car, this is pretty
specifically and you cannot find the owner, what do you do?
Speaker 3 (19:33):
You leave a note or wait?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Can they give you the options?
Speaker 4 (19:38):
Yes? Please a drive away if the damage is small.
Speaker 12 (19:42):
Hey, uh, wait for the owner to return, call your
insurance only and let them know, or leave a note
with your contact information.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
I'm gonna say some people don't have the time to
wait for the owner to return, so leave a note
with your information.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
That's correct, Okay, you one more.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Yes, feel pretty good.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
The two second rule. The two second rule is used
for a timing yellow lights, B parking on a hill,
see avoiding tailgating tickets or D keeping enough following.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Distance, well, following distance and tailgating. Same thing, right, I'm
confused by that is do they hand out tailgating tickets?
Speaker 2 (20:36):
I don't know. You can get a tailgating ticket.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
I don't know, so it must be D. It helps
you know when you're following too close.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yeah, I'll give you one more because this is a
good one. Okay, when driving a heavy rain in your
car begins a hydroplane, do you A accelerate slightly, B,
take your foot off the gas and steer straight, se
turn sharply to regain control or D break hard immediately?
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Oh no, don't break HERD immediately eliminate that one. Okay,
don't accelerate. That was the first one, right, that'd be bad, right,
I'm asking him? Yeah, and then so the middle to.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
So you have turned sharply to regain control, or take
your foot off the gas and steer straight.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Take your foot off the gas.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
You should pass the test. He's a good job. Just
eliminate the idiot ones. Yeah, you're good, you know, give
her a license. Bring every one in, we'll write you
one out and if they stop, you just show them this.
It's time for the good news.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Bobby.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
See Kevin Ryder is jogging and he's jogging at a
you know, an active part of the day on the sidewalk,
and as he's running, he collapses and so there are
people around and they see him collapse and they're surrounding him.
But driving by around that time was an ICU nurse
and Grady was his name. I think nurse, I think woman.
That's un me and I don't like me for that.
I almost sat hurt. But Grady was driving by and
(22:04):
sees everybody surrounding the person, so he like, hey, stop
to Carl and see what's up. And he goes over
and so they jump on him and give him CPR
for ten minutes, well ten minutes until the first responders
were able to show up got him to the hospital.
He ended up living, so big shout out to him
for stopping. He didn't even know what it was. He
just saw people surrounding something and they were like, let's
(22:25):
stop and see what this is, just in case it
turns out, just in case was somebody was in a
situation that he could help, and then they stayed for
ten minutes and gave CPR crazy. That's from kc TV
five and big shout out to Grady the ic unurse.
It also says his friend and the friend help, but
they don't ever put the friend's name in it.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Oh they go, yeah, yeah, there you go.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
That's what it's all about. That was telling me something good.
Now it's time for masterpiece theater, where Raymundo and I
wellcked out three famous movie scenes. Can you guess the movie? Amy?
Eddie Lunchbox writes your answers down, Ray, are you ready?
Speaker 7 (23:04):
Yep?
Speaker 2 (23:05):
My acting partner and action I want to make sure
you're ready. Brother.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Here it is.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Show me the money. Oh hope, show me the money.
Show me the money. Doesn't it make you feel good
to say that? Say it with me one time? Show
you the money. No, no, no, no, you can do
better than I want you to say it. Say it
with Minie. Show you the money. No no, no, not
show you show me the money. Show me the money, louder,
show me the money.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Yell, show me the money.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Scene. Pretty good, guys, Thank you, thank you, thank you?
Right I'm in w all right. This is the easy one. Lunchbox,
Jerry McGuire, Amy, Jerry maguire, Eddie, Jerry McGuire.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Okay, everybody's good. Next one up. This is the medium one.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Man, this is baseball. You gotta stop thinking. Just just
have fun. I mean, if you were having fun, you'd
caught the ball. H You ever have a paper out
I helped the guy once. Okay, well, chuck it like
it told the paper. When your arm gets here, just.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Let it go.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Just let it go. It's that easy. How do I
catch it? Just stand out there and stick your glove
in the air. I'll take care of it.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
Scene. I'm in, I'm in for the wind.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
I'm in, Eddie. I have the Sandlot, Amy.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Sandlot, lunchbox, the sand Lot.
Speaker 7 (24:39):
Good job, everybody's still in. This one's a little harder. Father,
You have forgotten me?
Speaker 2 (24:48):
No, how could I?
Speaker 7 (24:50):
You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me.
Look inside yourself. You are more than what you've become.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
How can I go back? I'm not I used to be.
Speaker 7 (25:00):
Remember who you are. You're my son, the one true King.
Remember who you are?
Speaker 2 (25:05):
No, please don't leave me, Remember, father, don't leave me rememba.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
What I don't think I know the movie, but that's great.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Wait you think you don't know the man?
Speaker 4 (25:20):
I don't you know that you enjoyed the acting.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
I'm father. Wait remember.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
You guys nailed it?
Speaker 9 (25:32):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
My gosh three seconds. I'm in Amy four Eddie, Lord
of the Rings. I think Lunchbox is gonna wine because
you both missed it. Lunchbox that is the Lion King. No,
that is correct.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
We didn't.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
What I'm like lying?
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Oh no, they sounded just like it did.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Pretty good.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Rushed you out. It's's ghosts.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
You have forgotten me. Wow, big Winter Lunchbox hit.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
That's money.
Speaker 9 (26:19):
Everybody.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
They stay there, They stay there.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
And for Lunchbox only. We will do one more.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Rey and I.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
He's not a space rain dur. He doesn't fight evil
or shoot lasers or fly excuse.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Me, what what what?
Speaker 2 (26:43):
He's a plastic He can't.
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Fly there cherillium carbonic alloy. And I can fly? No you, No,
you can't. Yes, I can can't. Can can't can't. I
tell you, I tell you I would fly around this
room with my eyes closed. Okay, prove it all right?
(27:05):
Then I will stand back everyone, lunchbikes.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
Man, I think my ear headphones cut out. We'll just
stick with the Lion King on the last one. But
I'll just guess something for fun.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Wait are you joking?
Speaker 6 (27:19):
Yes, Eddie, I had no idea what it was. I
was trying to act like I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
I didn't get it either.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Okay, what's your what's your guests?
Speaker 5 (27:25):
I'll go with step brothers.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Nah, that's toy story. Yeah, we'll do one more. This
is for all you guys. No, I say, we stay here,
we hunt for jobs, and we keep saving our money
for the worm store.
Speaker 7 (27:43):
I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick and
tired of running from creditors.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
You know what.
Speaker 7 (27:48):
I'm sick and tired of sick and tired of having
to eke my way through life. I'm sick and tired
of being a nobody. But most of all, I'm sick
and tired of having nobody.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Okay, asking a day, you'd better not be fooling. Okay, Okay, okay,
uh just let it out. Have a good cry. Come on, okay, Okay, Okay,
that's enough. That's anough see, well done, well done, Eddie.
Do you not have it I have it. I'm in Okay,
(28:19):
this is fun. What do you have, dumb and dumber Lunchbox?
Speaker 3 (28:22):
The champ has dumb and dumber Amy, Oh dang a
spinger of petit ticktoo.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Oh dang, yeah, Jim Carrey, Yeah yeah, lunchboxes on a
winter nice job, that is. No, let's get an update
from Lunchbox about prices, right, because he told us last
week he bought tickets he was ready to go. Turns
out he bought them for the wrong month. So that
means somebody that was waiting for tickets in the standby
(28:48):
got tickets this last week because Lunchbox bought them and
then he couldn't go. So you made someone's dream come
true accidentally. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
I mean that's what I do is I'm out here
making dreams come true. They showed up in La with
out tickets, just with the hope and prayer getting on
and what do you know, September seventeenth, the wrong day
of the week, the wrong day of the month that
I was supposed to be there, so they got in
to see come.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
On, now, you're so thoughtful man. So the Lunchbox bought
tickets for the wrong day. I guess got them you
don't buy them.
Speaker 6 (29:16):
No, you don't buy them. You just sign up online, dude,
and you just boom. And I was I was just excited.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
I was scrolling down.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
I saw the seventeenth and I boom, I hit it.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
So now what's happened? Have you got tickets for the
real date?
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Well, guys, I got an update.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
I said, you know what, I'm gonna make the price
and right prices.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
Right, be sick of me. They are going to be
so tired of my face.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
They're gonna be forced to call my name to come
on down. They put out tickets for October and I
got tickets for October fifteenth. I got tickets for October sixteenth.
I got tickets for October seventeenth.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
We're going back to back to back, Jack.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
I feel like you're about to have a stroke ye,
like or a heart attack or something.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
No, I'm bringing the energy.
Speaker 6 (29:57):
This is the energy I'm gonna bring to the prices, right,
this is how I'm I'm going to be when.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
I get there. And did he get all those dates approved?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
I see okay to have off work all those days?
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Oh yeah, stepped out?
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Oh yeah? Oh hold on, let's talk with Scuba.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
What's that, Scuba?
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Yeah, man, it's fine. If he goes, man, it's good
for the show.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Dang.
Speaker 6 (30:17):
I mean we can connect him with the studio in La.
Speaker 5 (30:19):
He can go there. Then the price is right. This
is national exposure.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Scuba sounds six. Yeah, Scuba has some kind of weird
old or something bys infection.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
So he was doing nights.
Speaker 6 (30:29):
You know, I'm doing that my afternoon show on the rock.
My voice is just a little it goes, comes and goes.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Okay, I need to talk to the real Scuba to
see if he has granted permission for Muchbox to be
gone all those days three days.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
That that's a pretty bad precedent. It's not that bad
of a precedent.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
What's that, Scuba?
Speaker 6 (30:46):
Well, I just think that, you know, it's smart that
if he's going to be out there, he might as well.
If he doesn't get on the fifteenth, he should try
the sixteenth. If he doesn't get on the in the seventeenth,
it'd be kind of a waste if we just send
him for one day, wouldn't it. I agree with you, Scuba,
great call, no school. That is so smart, dude, Like
I'm flying all the way to La. Why would I
just leave after one day? You're right, Scooba, I agree
(31:06):
think you Okay, Yeah, I'll have talk. But that's good
that you have real tickets. Now, I don't know how
they don't let them on. I don't know how they
don't let him on.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
So if he gets on on the fifteenth, does he
come home after that?
Speaker 2 (31:20):
That's a scuba.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
No.
Speaker 6 (31:22):
I mean there's other like let's make a deal is
out there, and there's other ones that have daily getting
back to your own voice, you can't and we we
would probably send them to those.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
No, you sound like you again school.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
That's a good idea, man.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
No, it's just you talking with you right now.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
No, okay, So possibly Lunchbox could be on prices right
the fifteenth to sixteenth to the seventeenth. I need to
see if we can give you three days off for
that though, because this is all him, This is all
like him fun trip. This is not a work trip.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (31:54):
No, no, no, this is me doing if you could you know,
if you could guarantee you were going to get on
the show, that's true. Otherwise you're just like going to
have fun. Would you not agree with that?
Speaker 6 (32:03):
I don't think it's fun standing in line for hours.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Yes, you do. You know you're looking forward to standing
in line for hours trying to impress the producers.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
You're exactly right.
Speaker 6 (32:11):
I'm thinking about man, I got to put on a
show on in line.
Speaker 10 (32:14):
I gotta be there.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
What is that stree?
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Does that mean three days of him in the in
the studio audience too?
Speaker 4 (32:20):
Does he get in automatically?
Speaker 8 (32:21):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, there's no way he doesn't get on the show.
Like I would bet money, he's going to get on
because somehow this is going to get back to the
producers anyway of us talking about it doing a bit
for like a month. We have a pretty large platform. Also,
he's got a lot of energy. I don't know how
he doesn't get on. That doesn't mean he gets on
to play a game. It just means he gets to
be in the panel. That gets to be one dollar
(32:46):
Drew that type of person. Yeah, okay, I'll talk to
Scooba when he for real gets back. I forgot he's
not in today, but the ghost of Scuba apparently is.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
Yeah, he is good to go. Man, I am good.
I wrote it down on the calendar.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Do you think he should have extra days off too?
Speaker 6 (33:00):
That wouldn't be bad. It would be good for his
mental well being. You know the stress of you know,
learning the bids. He's gonna have to watch a lot
of prices right between now and then. Can I say this,
Lunchbox kind of talks like Foghorn Leghorn.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Foghorn Leghorn would be like, I was gonna eat me
a cook it, cook it, cook it, crack it, and
Lunchbox is like his mental well, be well, be okay, Well,
I'm glad you have tickets, though, good job. We're gonna
talk to Emma Slater, who's one of the pros on
(33:35):
Dancing with the Stars and her partner is comedian Andy Richter.
They had the first episode last week. The second episode
will be tomorrow night, and so I talked to her
about the backlash that she got online because she was
paired with Andy, because I think people wanted her to
have a chance she had two older partners, And so
we talk about that. We talk about behind the scenes
of Dancing with the Stars. It's like what people are
saying while they're actually dancing on the floor on TV.
(33:57):
And again, check it out tomorrow night. Here is pro
dancer from Dancing with the stars. Emma Slater, Let's go
on the Bobby Bones Show now. Ms Slater, you saw
the comments about how people were upset that you were
teamed with Andy. I love Andy Rictor. I'm a massive fan.
What are your thoughts on how people are reacting to
you being team with Andy.
Speaker 7 (34:18):
I saw the.
Speaker 13 (34:18):
Comments and I thought my first thought was I really
hope that Andy isn't disheartened by reading this, because for me,
I think Andy is the best partner for me.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
I truly do.
Speaker 13 (34:28):
I have got to that point in my life.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
And also, I've done the show now for nineteen seasons.
Speaker 13 (34:33):
I know where my expertise are, and I know what
I love to do, and I really love to see
the improvement and the growth in my partners, and that's
what I'm probably best at.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
I'm probably best at bringing out people that.
Speaker 13 (34:49):
Are not dancers, that are potentially even nervous to do
the show and to give them the best possible experience.
And trust me, all the pros give their partners an
E's such an incredible experience and the best one that
they could possibly do. But Andy, to me is the
best partner. I love being partnered with the funny guys.
I love being partnered with the personalities. I love being
(35:11):
partnered with the people that have this special quality about them,
and so I'm thrilled, and I always was thrilled that
I had Andy as a partner.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
People will wonder what you're saying to your partner while
you're dancing. What are you saying to your partner while
you're dancing on television?
Speaker 13 (35:24):
Well, everything, So I'm saying the whole choreography is so
we Andy and I just did our wide shot. And
you remember that, Bobby, that's that part in the week
where you get that wide angle video of your entire
dance to music so that the directors can map out
all the cameras. So we just did our video where
we did the dance to music, and you can hear
(35:45):
the music, but you can hear me screaming on top
of the music for the most part.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
And it'll be things like twinkle toes.
Speaker 13 (35:51):
At one point, because it gives him the visual of
like fast feet, I say, tall, hand on head, I'll
say quick, I'll say have fun. Because there's a moment
where I asked him, I said, what does this step?
How do you become more free in this step? And
he says, oh, it makes me think of having fun.
So every time we get to the step, I say
have fun, and he does it like he really comes alive.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
So I need to keep giving him and usually all
my partners.
Speaker 13 (36:15):
A lot of structure during the show, during the dance
by you know, vocal cues, and it helps them. If
I ever really stop that, it becomes a bit of
a problem. I've tried a couple of times, but it's
much better for them when they have kind of all
angles like support. At least a lot of my partners.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
To hear that full episode, it's like forty minutes long.
Go search for the Bobby cast on iHeartRadio or wherever
you listen to your podcast.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
It's time for the good news produce already.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
Sean Davis lives in Bernie, Texas, and he was just
pulling over to get some gas.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
He's pumping gas and as he's leaving, he sees this piece.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Of trash on then he's like, that looks like trash,
but it also doesn't look like trash.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Let me check it out. It turns out it's.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
An envelope full of cash, had tire marks all over it.
He said, twenty dollars bill after twenty dollars bill and
a cashier's check. So we took a picture of the check,
put it on social media. Does anyone know who this
person is? They all responded, Yeah, that's so and so
she owns the local daycare. Then he goes to the
daycare gives her cash. She is completely excited that her
(37:26):
money was found because she lost it.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
What it was for, yeah, they don't say. Probably for
if she owns the daycare deposit and there's a cashier's check,
so it's got to be yeah, not like drugs or.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
I don't know, man, she was just excited to get
it back.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
I think she was like relieved. I think relieved would
be the word. Yeah, And it like who returns cash
and to go.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
The extra mile to take a picture of really, as
anyone knows, I'll be honest, I wouldn't do I wouldn't
do all that like Bernie, honestly, right, we just kind
of enjoyed this. So it's but I would take it
to the communion store and be like, hey man, you
might want to hold this case. Somebody could, but you've
turned it all in with all the cat Yes that,
but social media, I'm not taking a picture.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Does anyone know who that is. But it's not about
the cat. You wouldn't say how much cash?
Speaker 11 (38:11):
Is it?
Speaker 5 (38:11):
No chance?
Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yeah, because then everyone's gonna claim it like I would.
I guess I'd be on the come on the show
and be like I found cash. That'd be the first
thing I would do.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
That'd be a good bed.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Hey do that?
Speaker 2 (38:21):
Do that as a bed if you find cash? Okay,
good story, that's what it's all about. That was telling
me something good.
Speaker 9 (38:29):
Wake up, wake up in the mall.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
And you turn the radio and the dogs.
Speaker 14 (38:40):
Ready and his lunchbox more game too, to Steve red
at it, trying to put you through the fog.
Speaker 9 (38:46):
He's riding this week's next bit.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
The Bobby's on.
Speaker 9 (38:49):
The box, so you know what this.
Speaker 10 (38:55):
Is the Bobby balls.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
Now time for the morning Corny, the mourning Corny.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
Why did the man with amnesia go for a run?
Why to jog his memory?
Speaker 4 (39:16):
That was the mourning Corny lobbed bone show. Sorry up today.
Speaker 6 (39:22):
This story comes us from Alexandria, Virginia. The CEO of
redevelopment and housing for the entire city decided, you know,
I've been putting people in new homes. I'm helping people
get back on their feet. I should get a new
home myself. So she assigned one of these free homes
to herself and moved on in.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Oh, that's one way to do it.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
It's a bonus. Yeah, she might have a bonus structure
in her own mind for what she was doing.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
It's kind of tempting to you know, like you're billing
houses for everyone else.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
It's like, if you're a cooking burgers, get a burger
for yourself, you get a free burger.
Speaker 9 (39:52):
That's what I hear.
Speaker 4 (39:54):
You're back there all day, slaving around, hitching have a burger.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Yeah, four dollar, same thing at the house, House House.
Speaker 4 (40:01):
Okay, I'm lunchbox.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
I'm gonna play a couple interviews from this past weekend.
It was me with Jelly Roll and me with Bailey Zimmerman.
And they're just a few minutes each, but they were
both pretty fun and they were right before they went
on stage in Vegas at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. So
we're gonna go one to the other. So first me
and Jelly Roll, then me and Bailey Zimmerman. Here you go, hey, guys,
(40:26):
Bobby Bones here with jelly roll.
Speaker 4 (40:28):
Good to see you, buddy, Good.
Speaker 10 (40:29):
To be seen. You look great. You know what they
say in the South, better to be seen than viewed.
Speaker 4 (40:33):
I'm from the South. I've never heard You've never heard, No,
I've never dude, that's like.
Speaker 10 (40:36):
One of the most famous sayings ever where I'm from. Oh,
like dead yeah, like better to be seeing than be.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
Okay, but all right, use the hashtag I heard Festival
twenty twenty five. If you're listening, you got a big
show tonight. However, we were just talking about on my show,
you meeting the Pope? What do they say to you
before that meeting? Like, do they do they warm you up? Like,
don't like grab them, don't don't like rub his head
like anything.
Speaker 14 (40:58):
I could not believe how little instruction they gave me.
So when he walked up and made even more nervous,
I was like, is this a complete free for all?
Can I ask anything?
Speaker 4 (41:06):
Was it weird to see him in person?
Speaker 10 (41:08):
It was so weird to see him in person, dude.
Speaker 14 (41:09):
It's like, it's the Pope, and listen, he comes in
mighty popish, Like when he comes in, it's a lot
of poping happening.
Speaker 10 (41:16):
You know what I'm saying, the room feels it's it's different, dude.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
So you performed in Vatican City. How did that all
come about?
Speaker 14 (41:21):
We just got the call from Adam Blackstone and them
we're producing, and said, hey, we're trying to Pharil too
has been a good friend. I love you, Pharrell, thank
you for everything. And they just said, hey, we have
this idea to try to bring grace to the world.
We think it's a time where music will bring people together,
and we want to bring a lot of different kind
of stuff together and bring a little glory.
Speaker 10 (41:35):
So I said, I'm in.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
Do you get a little nervous before that performance?
Speaker 10 (41:38):
I get nervous before every performance. So before that one,
I had diarrhea.
Speaker 14 (41:42):
You know what I'm saying that if that's a scale
of how bad nerves work. If I'm normally just a
little nervous, imagine that one. I was like, dude, it
was bad. It was like uncorked.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
That's an odd scale. That's a hetf But.
Speaker 10 (41:55):
People will relate. They'll be like, yeah, I've had diarrhea
nervous before too.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
You know, before you do a show, a big show,
it could be any show, Like, what do you enjoy
listening to what gets you in the zone.
Speaker 10 (42:05):
Were talking about boop.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
You talked about not we, not we you you got
a mouse in your pocket. You've heard that in the South, exactly.
Speaker 14 (42:13):
I haven't heard them. You know what I listened to
now before, and we sing it every time we walk
to the stage. Though, Happy Day. We watched Sisters like
a few months ago. Remember how incredible that moment was.
So now you'll see us walking down how we're going,
Oh happy.
Speaker 10 (42:28):
Day, Oh happy day, Oh happy day.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
When Jesus wow, winge Jesus wall when Jesus wow, oh
winge Jesus w.
Speaker 10 (42:41):
You watched my sins, Oh happy day?
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Thank you everybody.
Speaker 11 (42:46):
See the way you went and I went like we
practiced it. Yes, okay we did diarrhea and Sister act.
This isn't good here, Yes, this is jelly roll bob Bones.
Do you believe a song can change someone's perspective or
even their life?
Speaker 8 (43:01):
Like?
Speaker 4 (43:01):
Have you witnessed that?
Speaker 9 (43:02):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (43:02):
It happened to me. I've The first time I got
to talk about this was on 'all show. Was I
got into music because of what music did for me?
Speaker 10 (43:11):
It was like I I've had.
Speaker 14 (43:12):
Songs transform me right in my spot. You know that'll
change the way I've looked at life forever.
Speaker 10 (43:16):
Hearing once. I love you.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
A lot of people love you. You're creating love out
there on stage every single night. We're looking forward tonight,
jelly Roll everybody tonight, My Heart.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Radio Music Festival. Good to see Aboudy Bones and it's
Bobby Bones here with Bailey Zimmerman.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
How you feeling, Ah, unbelievable, let's go. I was asking
you you have a You're going on late later tonight. Yeah,
it's late, and also we're from like two hours back.
It's really late for us right now. No body clock
is struggling.
Speaker 9 (43:47):
But we're rock stars.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
You're a rock star old Okay. I got a couple
of questions here. Now, how do you tell stories? How
do you tell love stories through your music? Because you
have some really banger love songs.
Speaker 9 (43:57):
Well, I've been in love before.
Speaker 8 (44:00):
You know what that feeling feels like, you can I've
really been able to like write songs about that in
a lot of different ways. It was as well, So
it's from the heart, like real emotion as long as
it's real, yeah, real?
Speaker 4 (44:13):
Do you ever feel super vulnerable?
Speaker 7 (44:14):
Like?
Speaker 4 (44:14):
I don't know if I should be sharing this.
Speaker 11 (44:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (44:16):
Sometimes yeah, I'll be writing something I'm like, whoa am
I being like too much?
Speaker 3 (44:21):
Right know?
Speaker 8 (44:21):
But I think that's what music is all about, is
being like totally out there because you never know who's
going to relate to that vulnerable feeling, you know.
Speaker 9 (44:27):
So it's what what music's all for.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Yeah, so we're big Audible fancire Audible has speaking of love,
like if your love love or romance, do you have
a favorite love song that's not yours, like one that
you covered or one you's like listening to.
Speaker 8 (44:41):
I would say, ed, Sharon, is it called perfect? Is
it called perfect ed? Sharon's perfect?
Speaker 9 (44:48):
Then you look perfect tonight? Pretty good? Thank you, thank you,
thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (44:57):
Yeah, that's good, thank you. I'm a little moved there.
Speaker 9 (45:00):
That was good.
Speaker 2 (45:00):
You just announced your different night, same rodeo tour. Oh
you're still gonna be flying. You can do the thing
where you jump up on stage.
Speaker 9 (45:06):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Because what he does for those that don't know, if
you haven't been been to a Bailey show where you
haven't seen Bailey z Evermann like online, he shoots up
at the beginning and it throws him into the air,
and how he doesn't rip all the ligaments out of
his legs.
Speaker 4 (45:17):
I don't know, but you're gonna keep doing it?
Speaker 9 (45:18):
Oh yeah, have to. It's like the funnest part of
the show for me.
Speaker 4 (45:21):
Do you like load up and brace yourself?
Speaker 8 (45:24):
I have this thing where I tried to like beat
the record, like how high can I get this thing
to launch me?
Speaker 9 (45:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (45:30):
That doesn't feel like a safe record to chase, like
eventually that's not gonna end.
Speaker 9 (45:33):
Well, we made it through this year somehow. So let's go.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
What's been your biggest pinch me moment so far?
Speaker 9 (45:38):
Hands down? When Morgan Wallen called me to go on
the Morgan Wallin tour that was crazy.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
And then what about all these collabs that you're getting
to do? How'd you end up with?
Speaker 2 (45:49):
Let's do for example, because I know you're gonna be
with Diplo in a bit, how did that come together?
Speaker 9 (45:54):
Diplo showed up at my house.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
That's a real story.
Speaker 9 (45:57):
That's a real story.
Speaker 8 (45:58):
Somebody called me like five minut fork, Diplo is on
the way to your house, can you open up the gate?
And I was like, uh, yeah, sure, And then I
walked outside and he was already walking up and He's like.
Speaker 9 (46:08):
Hey, dude, can I show you a song? And I
was like yeah, And then now we're here.
Speaker 10 (46:12):
Performing that song.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
iHeartRadio Music Festival Bailey Zimmerman hashtag iHeart Festival twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
