Speaker 1 (00:03):
Transmitting we welcome to Thursday show morning studio. Lunchbox has
request we do dude news again. Where has it been,
dude like? What is going on? So dude news is
where just the dudes on the show coming with a

(00:23):
dude story and no girls allow. It's like the treehouse
back in the day. Amy, I'm sorry, you can come
in after it down there on the ground. We're not
through the treehouse. But then we go do news. But
it's not surfer like when you do it, it sounds surfer
What just say dude like regular dude? That's that sounds
surfer dude like you say it. Hey, you're not in here,

(00:45):
You're not here. This is a meeting.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
I thought that y'all have got to the treehouse.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
In the treehouse all right, time for dude news. Dude news,
dude as do the ground hit her with an egg beggarger, alright,
that fogs go ahead, dude news. You guys used to
watch Baywatch? I never did? Never did you never watched Baywatch?
A good show man?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Well, Brandy Roderick, one of the old stars of Baywatch.
She said she is now supporting herself with OnlyFans. So
if you want to see what she's looking like. Now,
You've always dreamed about seeing her.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
So you wanted to do dude news for this story.
He was like, let's do dude news again, and this
is the story he's been waiting to tell. This is
totally him reminded me to do this segment. Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, so she said, at first she was a little
nervous about doing it, but the fans have been amazing,
and she said, look, I get to control my hours.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I put up what I want. I'm my own Hugh Hefner. Okay, yeah,
how old is she now?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
She's older, but she still looks pretty good for however.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Old she is. She playing Baywatch. Probably one of them,
one of the lifeguards that ran down the beach. Slow
real slow mo. Oh, yeah, she's fifty's. I thought she'd
be older than that. She's looking good though, I can see. Okay,
we heard, Okay, let's dude new Raymundo. My dudes, what

(02:05):
dude's here? Playing video games? I did dude dude here too.
You guys probably play n Cuba. They say in this
study that video games make kids and adults want to
participate in physical activities more just because they played the
video games. My dudes, that makes sense. So go sit
on the couch, get that controller and play all day. Boys.

(02:27):
But go, dudes, would that mean though, if you're like
playing shooting games, you want to shoot people to it's
mainly the sports games. They said, it's a willingness to
participate than in team activities in real life. So they
got real dude, Well I'm just asking no, not that
bodes no, only sports dude. Okay, hey my dudes, I
got you, guys. Eddy.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
There's a guy's a Chiefs fan. He's in Vegas. He
goes to the casino. He's like, let me watch the game.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
The Chiefs win. Whoa, this is awesome.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Let's go to the casino in bed a little bit.
He plays poke. It's the one point eight million dollar jackpot.
Oh dude, weekend made. Not only the Chiefs win. He
wants some money. Oh that's the whole story. That's the
whole I can't playing for like a bonehit ending or something. No, no, no, no,
he was playing pie gal. You guys play that, dude.
I'm gonna try that though.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I always see I walked by it and them like
I want him try that, But I don't know how
to play? Will they teach me? We also like surfers?
Now do I hear it?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Now?

Speaker 6 (03:25):
I remember?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Should be Brown News, Dude News, my turn. Americans are
expected to spend one hundred and fifty billion on sports
betting this year. And dude, it's just in this room
that's us. I just held us on draftings. That's unbelievable.
Sports betting has only been legals outside of Nevadas is
twenty eighteen. Big draftings guy here. But there's also yeah,

(03:47):
a w SA G with that story. There's another one
I had for Dude News where it was a sports
memberabilia gold mine uncovered in Virginia. I saw that former
antique shop off a four lane highway and it was
stashed at the bottom of a bookcase. And the guy
pulls it out and it's like all these really expensive
cards to say, like twenty million cards or something.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Dude, whoa dude during like autographed baseball by Willie Mays,
Michael Jordan cards, Kobe Bryant carts, one hundred lebron Great
Babe Ruth cards. And then the family said, I'm just
glad somebody who bought it enjoys all this memorability.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
It's it's so much. Yes, they're not like up. No, hey,
good dude, you ask me good Seattle time like Babe
Ruth cards and stuff. Great, all that's time. Back down
the ladder, guys, okay, Amy Amy, No, no, she doesn't
get come. We go down girls. What's up? Amy, Amy?
We're back down on the ground.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Okay, I'm just listening.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yes, I just turned my mic off because I didn't
want to slip up which.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
One was most interesting? Are you listening down there?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, eddie'es is like a Tim sig or tell me
something good.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
But it's still a DUDEA. I liked it.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
It's good lunchbocks. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I don't know he's ever even been to only fans.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
That's my question.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Do you know if he has a membership. I don't
think he does a big game. I told you about
that girl he used to work. Yes, you don't have
a membership posted on Facebook for us and somebody had,
they would send lunch box all the pictures. No, no, no,
fore we subscribed for a few months. I don't think
he paid a nickel. You know, we split it.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
It was me, Ryan, Michelle and Missy. We all put
in and split it four ways. Okay, so we can
see what's going on.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Okay, see, so.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah, videos the question to be Hello, Bobby Bones, my
husband and I are having a debate on how to
have a gender revealed party. I want to go all out.

(05:55):
He wants to keep it simple. This is our first kid,
so I want it to be memorable. I have smoke
bomb confetti cannons, I have a running guest list of
forty plus people. He wants me to return the equipment
and cut the guest list in half. I think he's
just worried about what his reaction will be if we
have a girl and he wants less people there. He'd
rather just do a cake with us and our parents.

(06:16):
What's the compromise here. I want it to be fun
and memorable. But I realize he has to say too
signed mom to be if he is really wanting it
less because he's worried about how he reacts. I will say,
good for you, bro, that's a bit mature of you. Yeah,
but but get over it. Yeah but yeah, because yes,

(06:37):
there is awareness to that, like he does, and from
any of the dads that I know that have had daughters,
they are so happy they had a daughter. Once they
had the daughter, but leading up to it, especially if
it was our first kid, is not good. Not good
because guys are dumb, dumb. We only know what we've known,
and we know we were boys. We know how to

(06:59):
raise a boy.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
Let me know these girls, you might get protective.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
And oh, that's the whole reason. The guys were like, oh,
I would say, acknowledge what he's going through. He'll be
so happy if he has a girl. I'm sure once
he has the girl, acknowledge, Hey, Scuba, you have a girl. Yeah,
go ahead.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
I love having my girls because as much as I
love my son, who's my first, and we were that's
my first, little Bob, so happy he was first.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Though. I'm very happy he was.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
First because then because my wife wanted a girl first,
because she's like, no, they can handle the family. I'm
like no, but my son will make sure that no
one messes with them when they get later in life
like high school and stuff. But I love my girl
so much. They are my absolute favorite, and they melt
my heart and they make me so happy.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
And yes, I am are you reading from a script?
That's how I feel. I'm looking, I'm out my heart.
I'm so happy.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
I am absolutely terrified what's going to happen to them
in the real world, because it is difficult out there
for everyone, but especially women, it really is. I mean,
are work in a workplace where I see it all
the time, and I'm like, it's going to be difficult
for them. We'll not here with an hour close cluster,
but within the line of work that we've chosen.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
It is more difficult for women in the entertainment industry.
It very much is. Especially when I was working in Hollywood.
I saw it a lot. Not in this not here,
no no, no, no, not in this particular room, because
Amy slap every one of these boys like no, Amy
owns it, thank you. So I would like my daughters
to be someone like Amy, who's confident, who's proud, and
who can't stand up for themselves. So what would you
say to this guy about this party because she's worried

(08:34):
that he'll be disappointed if he has a girl.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
Well, I think gener reveals are stupid in the first place.
So there's your first problem. She wants to have it
and he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Then you do it for your wife she's not having
the baby, and then just fake it if it's a girl,
and fake if it's a girl, but you won't fake
it though.

Speaker 7 (08:47):
I mean, right now it sucks, but once you have
the girl, that's when you realize, oh, I was totally wrong.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
This is amazing.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I'm gonna love my daughter. So this is what we're
gonna say, mom, and to be just playing this clip.
Suck it up and if it is pink faked, but
let her have the party. If it's not draining the
bank account, let her have the party. We side with her.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
I do. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Yeah, I feel like it's pretty dumb too to have
that bigger party, but it's not my dumb to.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
Choose, Like, good on you with the awareness part, yes, yeah,
but also.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
To the husband, good on you for the awareness.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
These are the top five rejected segments over the last
thirty days. At number five because I feel like this
is too creepy and not even believable. I rejected this
segment too creepy, but even not even believable because I
don't think it's real. Lunchboxson in the segment tell me
something good college girls are back on campus, okay, and

(09:41):
then he writes this whole thing because he wants to
talk about it. This means my lunches will be more exciting,
and the energy level will be up at the restaurants
around campus. This is the best time of year. I
can see all the girls, I hear all the gossip.
Does he like pull up in his bike again? It's creepy,
But I don't think he really I think this is
just him making up something sense them. Oh.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
There's restaurants all around the campus that I stop at,
and they're all just gabbing about what they did last night,
talking about this, talking about Oh, I got a test tomorrow,
or are you going to that party to night. Oh,
I can't believe Sam broke up with you. You hear
it all when you're sitting there eating. I mean, they
just talk and talk. And let me tell you something
about college girls. They're loud, they don't talk quietly. It's
not the library.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
What else about college girls? Man, it's just good to
look guys good, That's what I'm saying. I don't think
he really means it. I think he just was like,
I'll just say this. It is a fun time to
be a human.

Speaker 6 (10:28):
Legit questions a fun time.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
To be a humans a year, the day, just the
time of the year. And here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
The beginning of the semester is the best time because
they're all excited about the future. You go in like
November December. Everybody's just worn out by the long semester.
The energy level is way down.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
It sall. Rejected that segment. I just felt creepy but
also not true.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Okay, legit question about college people because I have seen
a lot more of them too, and as we get older,
they look younger and younger and younger.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
But like to guys, do y'all see that too, Like
how young they look?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Because yes, yeah, they look like I'm glad you guys
are still working when I watch.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Football, not like, oh my gosh, they look like look
like yeah, but even like the dudes look like kids, dudes,
Lunchbucks doesn't It doesn't matter about a tassel.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Does lunchbocks go on campus actually a campus? Or is
he just arriver in the bike through campus because he
rides his bike to work?

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yes, okay, moving on. Rejected segment number four. Number four
literal blind dates from Morgan. We get Morgan back in
the dating game by sending her out on blind dates,
meaning she has to wear a blindfolder in the entire date,
Lunchbox will be there to supervise. At the end of
the day. She decides then if she wants to go
on a second date, but she still doesn't get to
see them. We follow up after the first date and

(11:47):
the second date, and if it goes well, we let
them see each other. That's good, it's actually kind of fun.
It's a good bit, and who knows, she may find love.
I don't like setting people up with other people that
aren't on the show, just for safety reasons. And she
also can't see them. One time, Morgan told me a
story about where she went and saw a guy, like
ran into a guy, but she couldn't remember if she

(12:08):
had dated him before or not. She saw him, oh like,
and also that can happen more she's blindfolded. She doesn't
even though she's been out to do before. It can
Then you see a guy, maybe you guys both.

Speaker 8 (12:18):
Yeah, we had been on one date, so it's not
like we had like full on dated or anything, but
we've been and we kind of like, hmm, you seem familiar.
And then like towards the end of the conversation, we're like, oh,
we went out with each other at one point, that's crazy,
Like how many dates do you she gets around gets
around different.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
I'm saying how many dates to where it gets muddy?
I mean if you go on enough first dates, they
all started to get.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
A little money. Yeah, can you imagine you've see somebody
and you can't like where do I know that? Like?
What TV show? Yeah? All right, next up at number three?
Here we go number three rejected segments And I rejected
this because it's super calus fragilistic x Jake Braggadoshi like
that you make that up? I did. It's from Eddie

(13:05):
because he wrote I got the best compliment ever. Oh
this is good. I wanted to talk about how you
got the best compliment ever?

Speaker 4 (13:10):
And I was like, guys, and I sent this a
while back, Like since then, I've gotten a couple of
other ones here, Okay, what's your couple other questions for me?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Go ahead? What are your what's your compliment that you
got it first?

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Of all? People?

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Other dads are coming to me and be like, hey, man,
do you have a second, Like can I talk to
you for a minute?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Like yeah, what's up?

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Like like advice dad questions? I heard you on the
show talk about how like you made your sonny bolooney sandwich.
Was like, I'm having trouble with my kid, dude, and
we'll sit down at football practice. I'll be like, sit down, man,
tell me what's going on with your kid. And then
thirty minutes later he's like, thank you, man, thank you
so much for that.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I needed that compliment. You're the dad, yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Your advice, and I will start with like, dude, I'm
just I'm just like you, you know, I'm just trying
different things.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
And what worked for us is this. You made your
son sing Man in the Mirror over and over and
listen to the song how many times until he understood
what it meant.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
I think it was five, maybe I think it was
more than that. And then he came out and was like, Dad,
I get it.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
What do you get son? It starts with a man
in the mirror, which is me, thank you, and then
he made his sunny nothing but blowny sandwiches for how long?

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
For I think it's a semester because or six weeks.
Six weeks so I think it was like two weeks. No,
it was he had a test coming up and he
wanted to make sure he studied. No, he had to
get his grades up.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
And I said, if you're not going to try hard
at school, then you don't really want to make money
in life.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
So you're gonna eat blown spilony sandwich the rest of
your life. Correct. And so you made him only et
blowing sandwiches and correct. And then he brought his grades up,
and dads are coming to you. Hey, man, can a
minute talk about that blow? Yeah, my son, he's disrespecting me,
Like what do I do? He's talking back to me.
So he got the best compliment ever. He's being complimented
and asked for advice. He wanted to do it. I
rejected it.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
Because it felt a little what is nice to hear?

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Exactly because I've told you many times bones being a parent,
you don't know if you're doing a good job or not.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
This is telling me I'm doing a pretty good job,
all right. Number two. Number two, this was under the
category of we wouldn't have even spent time with what
it was about. We'd have just made fun of the person.
So the bit would have been lost, and we just
would have made fun of the person for for probably
for not knowing this. And Morgan Road, did anyone else
know that little thing? Behind the doors. The spring things

(15:10):
actually a door stop.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Oh my god, guys, I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
It wouldn't have been us talking about the door in
the world. Use it and put it on the door,
not that it stops the door from Wait what's she talking?
No no, no, no, no no, it's not like it
stops the door from hitting the wall.

Speaker 8 (15:29):
Yes, but you can also use the spring underneath to actually.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Hold the door back, like it's a literal doorstop.

Speaker 6 (15:34):
Pull it out.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
I didn't know that. Wait a minute, wait a minute here,
now that I biled, what are you talking about? That's
just coiled so it has a little shock absorber. I
thought I didn't think it was under it to hold
the door open. Am I learning something here? Am I
having to admit that maybe I was wrong? Who removes it?

(15:56):
You don't remember? Underneath? Maybe and put it on. I
don't know if that's I've never even tried that. I
always just have a doorstop, or I just it stops
the door.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
Somebody do it on TikTok, and I was mind blown.

Speaker 8 (16:06):
I just thought it was always supposed to stop, like
the door from hitting the wall.

Speaker 6 (16:09):
But it's actual an actual doorstop, and that little.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Thing on it. The little white cap is it probably
goes under and hole of that, so you don't damage
the door, don't damage the wall. I don't see. That's
what I thought too. But now I'm starting to wonder,
I'm gonna google you guys are all gonna make fun
of me. Yeah, we would have, but now I'm sarting
to think maybe I shouldn't have. You know, watermelon can spoil. Yeah,
any kind of fruit.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
What do you mean why wouldn't you think it could spoil?
It's like, explain that one to me.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Why I get a lot of chocolate watermelon and I
have brought to me from the grocery store. Huh? I
do like uh door dash Ruber Eats And I opened him,
pilled the whole thing off, and I smelled and it
smelled like really sour. So then I was like, let
me see if it also tastes our, and I did,
and I did, and I was like, oh, I never
had bad watermelon. Yeah, man, food usually.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Food can spoil any food, just like I'm except you know,
watermelon can spoil twinkies.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Maybe Morgan, you may have brought something to the show.
It's not bad, saying okay, And finally here we got
number one. Number one rejected segment. Mike d wanted to
play a game called let's play a game called are
They Done? I give you a list of country artists
and we go through them one by one to determine
if their career is done I love this or if
we think they'll ever land another hit. I have fifteen artists.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I've been thinking the same thing because there's artists I
wanted to play the game.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Mind, I don't take his credit for that. We rejected
Where are they now? Yeah, it's like the same kind
of thing, like where are they? Did he give you
the fifteen questions? I never got to the Hey center
to me because we would never do that.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Can we do that?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Would just be hurtful to people, right for no reason?
But you do wonder like what are they doing?

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Right?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
But it can also be artists that are trying now
that maybe we're in like a duo at some point
that that you know, where one of them is not
successful as the other and the other's got like a
few number one and the other one. I mean, we
don't want to do that, so that's number But are
They Done? Does not feel like a nice game. Any
are there anyone that you wonder about. I have questions. No,
I'm not gonna mention them. There you go, rejected segments.

(18:04):
Thank you, that was rejected segments. It's time for the
good news.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
In North Texas, there are eight high schools that just
hate each other, their rivals, and every Friday night they
play each other. But they said, you know what, let's
put all that aside because there are special needs kids
that need us. And so what they did over the
weekend they went to all these schools that support special
needs kids and they helped them startup teams. They played volleyball, basketball,

(18:36):
and the football players they coached them, and the cheerleaders
cheered them on.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
No fist fight like that. The real teams that were
playing no man.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
They said, Hey, let's put all that aside. Let's be friends,
and let's help these kids out.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Nah, we love that. Now, that's cool to They volunteer
their time on the weekend. Right, it's a weekend in
a weekend that's hard for high school kids. Like, that's
what all the money's made, you know what I mean? Yeah,
great story, that's what it's all about. That was tell
me something good. So we have anonymous spilled the tea.
So someone's gonna tattle on somebody, and since it's anonymous,

(19:07):
I believe Raymondo. You have the button, it's on voice changer.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
So spill the Tea is a segment we do where
you can come on with the freedom of throwing someone
else under the bus without any sort of repercussion. Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
It appears someone on our show is much older than
they have said they are in the past. This person
says they're only in their mid forties, but it appears
that they are in their fifties, maybe even sixties. This
person was busted wearing glasses at work when they thought
nobody was around, and man, did Eddie have glasses on?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Had him on his head.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
It was a sad sight to see there's picture proof
of him and his glasses.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Man, he's been lying to us all these years. This
is stupid because there's no just because somebody has glasses.

Speaker 6 (19:55):
It's the first time I've ever seen Eddie do this.
That's not me, by the way, but I will one.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Is the person uses their same speech patterns.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
I will say I had a similar thought of Eddie,
that I'm older than I.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
You were wearing reading glasses and they think it makes
you like eighty years.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
No, no, no, you know I get it, but you
hold on, shut up, and he got them like on
his head.

Speaker 6 (20:25):
Would like you know, like your four like you put
them up old.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Oh because they're reading, well, because they're reading glasses. You
use them to read, and when you're not reading, you
put them on somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Okay, this is a dumb Maybe someone had seen someone's
like driver's license and they saw an odd year. Yeah. No,
eye sight has nothing to do with your age. I
just I mean, I do feel those glasses are but
they're bold, Like you went from nothing to like they
have like brown sides and blue glasses.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Yeah, they were cheap, which is awesome. Sixteen bucks for
a four pack. That's great man.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Yeah, I mean, dude, I've been talking about this for years.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Like I've been at the point of my life for
a couple of years where I need reading glasses to
like read things, even my phone and the lettering on
my phone is super big because I'm like, not gonna
get glasses, not gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Finally, I'm just like I'm just gonna do it. Why
don't you get real glasses. I don't need real glasses.
It's just reading glasses. Okay, I can't. I can't see
up close.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
So like when I do videos bones, which is like
my job, the viewfinders blurry.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Okay, this is not a good spill to team because
no team was spilled because has found out who did
forty five? Why did you guys waste our time?

Speaker 6 (21:33):
You went from fifty to maybe even.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
A guy? And Florida's been arrested. He had alligators in
his pool. He's keeping them his pool. You can't do that.
Here's no well, even in Florida. Okay, Florida man has
been arrested after he was of keeping alligators and several
fresh water slider turtles on his property and his pool.
Robert Miller, forty two, was taken into custody on charges
of illegal killing, possessing or capture of alligation, an unlawful

(22:01):
taking of slider turtles. I'm not sure what a slider
turtle is, but these alligators are big. In August, wildlife
officers arrived at his home after receiving a tip a
neighbor probably saw de fence, right, sure, heard them like
eating things? Does that make are they if they do that? Yeah?
Nosy neighbors, right, But I mean the alligator, let's say

(22:21):
it gets out and eats something. Yeah, the gators had
been in his pool for three months. He was placed
under arrest. The alligators were removed from the pool by
a nuisance alligator trapper, and the turtles were returned to
the pond. Flox thirty five, Orlando, does he not have
friends where those are? Like his friends back there you
go talk to? But yeah, if one of those alligators
gets out, they could easily take a dog or a

(22:42):
small child. Or do you sell those? Can you buy
an alligator on the black market? Growing it's like a museum.
They can come and pet them. I think if the
anybody was coming to look at them, that would get out.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Growing up, we had a neighbor that had an alligator.
It was like it was out in the country and
they had like a big pond and the alligator lived
in there, and like one day it just wasn't there anymore.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I wonder if that's acceptable. I mean, like a natural
pond and you could just be like, I don't know
what I got there in South Texas, but I'm sure
they would come and get it. Like if someone's all
they come and get it. I had a great aunt
that a monkey. Yeah I hadn't. My grandma is crap. Yeah.
All the monkey stories that they were all me like
all of my TV are like all fun. It's bubbles
looks awesome to have, Like all the monkeys that we
know people that were like they bite you, yeah, throw

(23:27):
their poop at you.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
They do that.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Nah, I bit my mom in the leg, not the poop.
These are supposedly the most overrated movies of all time. Now,
something can be good and still be overrated if it
was rated great, right, So that doesn't mean they suck.
But I'll give you the movie. Tell me if it's
overrated or if it was as good as they said. Ready, everybody,
they say the number one most overrated movie was Joker

(23:51):
in twenty nineteen. Phoenix. That was a movie. I feel
like it was good. I never saw it. He guesn't
watch it.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
I was good.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
I feel like it was overrated. It was twisted. Yeah,
shawshakerd it two not overrated. I just saw that one.
That's a good one. Let me go to Morgan because
you saw it recently overrated.

Speaker 6 (24:07):
I don't think it was overrated.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
I right rated it five out of five, because I
thought it was really good and.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
It held up.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Okay, so far we're doing pretty good here. How about
up No Seen not overrated? I thought I went into
it going, this thing is going to be overrated. There's
no chance that a cartoon could be this good. And
I was it was amazing, So I don't agree with
this less for the most part. Three. How about everything
everywhere all at once? You guys watch that one like

(24:32):
movie of the Year. Yes, I watched it and thought,
dicap no, it was about timelines, wasn't it, Mike. I
watched it and I really liked it, but I thought
it was all overrated. I got it won a lot
of awards. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't watch this. No, DiCaprio,
wasn't that one way off? How about The Breakfast Club?
Anybody watched that?

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:53):
I never saw it.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
I don't understand why it's so popular still, Probably because
it was It's like friends, that's a cult class like.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
People then loved it so much that they still hold
on to a love now. But I don't think if
it were watched by nineteen year olds that they would
love it for this, for what it is. But I
never saw any of those movies. They're in detention or something. Yeah,
is that what it is?

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Saturday?

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Saturday? Man? Okay, how about this The Notebook? Oh love it?
So good, so good. One of the best romance TV
movies ever. I really did like it, you know, I
liked it too. For me. I was that guy though,
because I read the whole book in a day because
the book wasn't that long. And then I watched the

(25:36):
movie and I was like, Okay, it's pretty good. But
I think I just was biased because iart of the book.
The book really good, dude, it's awesome. Maybe I should
read that. You can read it quick to Gladiator?

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Oh good? And I was shocked I liked it?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Overrated or no? No? Okay, good welle Honting. No, what
is this list? It's a list might be overrated movies
that are rated very high. You can't do a list
of overrated movies and not be movies that people love.
But these are all great, great movies according to you. Right,
we're seeing if people think throw overrated. Good Will Hunting.

(26:11):
I just watched it for the first time. It's good.
But what are you talking about? You like apples? Yes,
I like apples? How do you like them apples?

Speaker 3 (26:20):
I get it, but it doesn't mean it's I don't
know why people love it as much like you talk
like it's one of the greatest movies of all.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Time, so good. I think I liked it a lot,
but I also had a little bit of Oh, this
is older, so I don't have the full expectation of
what everybody else would have goten there and watch it originally.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
You're kind of like, will you didn't feel that when
you watched the movie Super Smart? You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Yeah, he's also like real good looking, and I never
guys are a real good looking on anything, like I
don't really feel like for them. Top Gun, I thought
that was uprating. Oh is this the old one or
old one? I've again don't watch till way later, like
three or four years ago, And I was like, but again,
if in eighty six, I probably would have thought it

(27:03):
was awesome. But top Gun, elf.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
Can watch it over and over and over and over.
Gravity never rated.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
That shows that movie sucks.

Speaker 6 (27:18):
That's terrible?

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Is that the one cloning.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Space?

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Here's why I liked it because eybody said it sucked,
Because I and I went to it going this thing
is gonna suck and that was actually pretty good. So
I think I had a better review because I went
into it thinking it was sucking.

Speaker 6 (27:31):
I don't even know if I finished it.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Really Yeah see, you guys think it was outrating, very awful,
so boring, gone with wind. Oh not overrated? Oh I
never seen I would I wouldn't watch. Are we still
doing the Cinema Club? I want to throw that one
in there? Oh no, I don't keep us from doing it.
Checked out of the Cinema Club. Finally, Friday thirteenth overrated?

(27:55):
What overrated? Yeah? Because it's older and I don't hold
you up. But back in the day, that was the
best movie. It was so great and so scary.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
I think we thought it was. But it's overrated.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Like you watch that now, bones and like the makeup's
falling off their face. Well yes, because gropings the Mica
moone boom hitting on the head and they're like GRapi
zop change now yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
you go. So you're going over on that one. Well
till I got to think about this. What's the movie
you've seen the most in your whole life? Don't answer it?
Oh I know. Uh Morgan's got a weird she has
a weird fascination with the movies. Morego, what movie have

(28:29):
you seen the most? Okay, So I just watched Ready
Player one for the twenty fifth time. That movie's awesome.
It's good, but I watched it once and I'm good.
I don't watch movies for the most part over and
over again, but twenty five times, I don't know. There's
something about it, the nostalgia.

Speaker 8 (28:42):
It has every element of a movie that I want,
and it's just an easy watch for me to put
on if I can't find anything that I want to
watch or whatever.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
I just it's the automatic go to for me.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
That's fair. I mean, I want to watch The Office
if there was nothing on it, just put it on
and watch. That's the same ish, Right, is a movie.
I know, I know it's unless at the Office. There's
like nine seasons, Right, There's so many different episodes you
can watch. Ready Player one is an awesome movie, But
twenty five times is a lot. Any movie you've seen
the most?

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Gosh, I mean, it's gonna be a toss up between
something old like Dirty Dancing or Pretty Woman or or
like Elf we were talking about.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
It's so good, and every Christmas we watch Elf Elf Elf.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, that's that's a good reason. Lfebox Rudy.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
I don't know why, but if it's on TV and
I just see it, I'll start watching it wherever it's at.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Like it's just one of.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Those movies that in one of these stop shows. It's
not too long, and it's enjoyable every time you watch it.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
I told you, guys, I've watched Field of Dreams two
hundred times, Moonlight Ground, and now you're just trying to
out do Morgan.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
No, I'm weirder than I for sure watched it way
more than twenty five times.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
That's nothing. That's elementary school. There's no chance you've seen
anything two hundred times. Never may be close to Back
in the Future. I've seen that almost probably one hundred
fifty times.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
No, you haven't. If you saw it that many times,
you should be able to say every line in the movie.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Okay to start, Hey Dad, you're telling me these clocks
are one hour behind.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Dang, I went for school and then he goes, and
that's how the movie starts. That's keep going, keep going,
that's how the movie starts. The whole movie, right, and
then he wants in the holiday for him. You're tardy again, McFly.
I think I've seen Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure three times,
and that might be I've ever seen a movie times.
My favorite movies I've ever only seen once. Uh, all

(30:34):
the Jim Carrey ones, not even like the funny ones,
but like Truman Show. I've probably maybe seen that one
twice because we come on TBS.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
What about Hitch?

Speaker 1 (30:42):
That would be the one I would stop at a
full times. I mean I would stop and watch it,
but I wouldn't ever see the Yeah, I don't like
watching movies two hundred times. I'm not a movie guy though,
just in general, might watch two movies a year, maybe
three now that Netflix has movies, maybe three movies or so.
But ready Player want and had no chance you've watched
anything two hundred times Moonlight, Graham, if you build it,

(31:05):
you will go.

Speaker 6 (31:13):
Admit to paductivity.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
This is according to CORPS, what's fake like EAU or
f a ux.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
Making it look like you're more productive than you really are.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
And the top five reasons for productivity better work life balance,
feeling burnt out, not enough work to do, unrealistic expectations
from bosses and then just wanting to appease for management.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
No, they're forgetting the number one in reality, lazy, that's
the one. We've all been productive at times. I mean
when I was doing tear offs on roofs, I was
productive all the time because all you would do, if
you'd finish the job completely, they would put you on
a different job and I'd be like, this sucks. I
mean penalized for like doing a good job. So I'd

(31:58):
be productive for a little bit so the end of
the day matched with that job. Otherwise they would take me,
they drive me down to another job, and I'd start
all out as terrible. Okay, what else you guys.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
So there's a trend right now, especially on TikTok, of
people eating edible dirt, clays and chalks.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Is all dirt edible?

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Well, they're selling it on eBay and Etsy as edible dirt,
clay and chalk.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Sure, but I'm saying, is all dirt at it? Can
I just grab some dirt, put in a bag and
go this is edible dirt. That's a great question. And
what does the edible dirt do to you?

Speaker 2 (32:27):
They say you have better digestion, it'll enhance your mood,
It fixes acne, it absorbs toxins from the body, all
these benefits. Right, Well, experts are weighing in and they're
saying like, hey, you may want to watch out because
there could be harmful toxins and heavy metals inside these
quote unquote edible clays and chalks and dirts, So beware

(32:49):
of that.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
To be aware of any help trend that starts on TikTok. Yes, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
So Dolly Parton has expanded her brand with the launch
of Dolly Wines. There's a chardonnay available here in the US,
and other varieties like rose and prosecco in the UK,
and you can find them for about fifteen bucks at
Kroger Total Wine.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
AGB stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
How does that match up price wise?

Speaker 6 (33:10):
It's a pretty reasonable price.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Reasonable is and it's cheap. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (33:15):
I would say cheap. There's some for like five four
or five dollars, fifteen, I'd say.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
When it's twenty Above twenty dollars, I'm like, ooh, I
think twice about it, but fifteen's just right.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Is there a correlation with really cheap and like headaches
and hangovers?

Speaker 6 (33:30):
I mean, as I've aged.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
I don't know if it's just me aging, but I
used to not notice it as much as I do now.

Speaker 6 (33:36):
But I've done a taste as before.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
I've I've lined up like a three dollars bottle and
this is back in the day with like a fifteen
twenty dollars bottle, and I couldn't tell the difference.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
But not talking about taste, of talking about how you
feel afterward. If you drink really cheap, do you get headaches?

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Like?

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Are there some sort of cheap aspects that come out
of it? Guys?

Speaker 8 (33:53):
I would feel like if it's more your dream, boxed wine,
boxed wine does make you feel that way, that's the cheapest.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Yeah, maybe because there's additives.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
So cheap wine doesn't make you feel worse, it just
might possibly taste worse if your palate is developed.

Speaker 6 (34:07):
Yeah, that's funny, accurate.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, my palate hasn't developed in any part of the
palette world. What about food though, you know, I mean,
I don't think there's anything that I'm really like an
expert in food wise. Yeah, Like I love chococship cookies
and milk. Oh, but I think that's just a softness
thing more than it is like, what about soup? I
love it, but I lobster bisk But then it's all
pretty good.

Speaker 6 (34:27):
All right, thank you, I'm Amy. That's my pile.

Speaker 7 (34:30):
That was Amy's pile of stories at its time for
the good news.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
So Zoe in South Carolina is a student and she's deaf,
and she's the only kid in a class that's deaf.
So the class has now started to learn sign language
so they can include Zoe and things. For example, when
they do the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, they have
now learned how to do it in sign language because
that's what Zoe did. And so it's Deaf Awareness Month
and now they're learning and I think it took death

(35:00):
Awareness months for them to realize, oh, we can actually
learn sign language and we can make Zoe feel like
part of the group. So that's what they've been doing,
like learning phrases, sayings so they can talk with her.
And she has an interpreter that's with her. So as
they're in class, the teacher's teaching, the interpreter interprets right
to Zoe. What they're trying to do is have a
little less interpreter so she feels that connection. Wow, that's cool.

(35:22):
That's pretty cool, they say. Now Zoe is quote able
to communicate, and she has best friends, as she calls it,
besties like friends in the classroom, and they've made Zoe
feel included.

Speaker 6 (35:32):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
That's a good one. That's from my fox aide. So
shout out to Star Elementary School in Anderson, South Carolina,
showing just how important inclusion is. That's what it's all about.
That was telling me something good. And that is the
end of the first half of the podcast. That is
the end of the first half of the podcast. That

(35:54):
the podcast. That is the end of the first time
of the podcast. You can go to a podcast to
or you can wait till I've got to come out.
