Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake Up, Wake Up in the mall and.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's a radio and the doctors get tready lunchbox. More
game too, Steve Bred and it's trying to put you
through the fog.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
He's running this week's next bit.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
The Bobby's on the box, so you know what this.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Is, the Bobby Ball. The question is who's better at
putting stuff together? A man or a woman. Now, this
was done by a research journal called Applied Cognitive Psychology.
They studied two thousand people, men and women, and now
guys are going to be builders. Yeah. Women. I'm not
going to say anymore who's better at putting stuff together?
(00:49):
Men or women? According to this amy, I'm.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Gonna say women because they pay attention to detail more
than men. And they're like, oh, I don't need the instructions,
I'll just figure it out myself.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
And that's a good point.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
It ends up not working extra parts and they don't
want to ask.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
All the time. There's like a whole like three free
nuts and subscribe. I said, oh, I guess this is
for the next one. It's my rollover parts. Yeah, that's
a good point because I've done.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
That and I'm saying they I know that I'm a
woman too, but I also have ADHD and I don't
think I can include myself in this because.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
All Amy's furniture house I like, half put together. None
of it's all there.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
The instructions, and then I'm the one digging them out
of the trash.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Who's better at putting furniture together? Furniture lunchbox?
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Oh, it's easily women because they Amy nailed it. They
read the instructions like I just rip it open and
start going, and then I get stuck in My wife's
like did you read the instructions? And I'm like no,
She goes, well, you missed a step. That's it. I
don't read instructions. So I'm gonna say women, Eddie.
Speaker 6 (01:44):
I've never seen a woman put anything together. So I'm
gonna go, man, I put everything together.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
In my house.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
You mean in your house?
Speaker 7 (01:51):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well, I haven't really looked around it walk into other
houses and be like, you put anything together?
Speaker 5 (01:56):
Speaking through windows?
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Okay, So I'm gonna read the story and then have
a little situation here Moregan want your answer, by the way,
I like to everybody's answer here.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Oh, I think it's women for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
A group of researchers conducted the study of two thousand people.
In the end, they found that and there's a couple
of things that don't jump yet. Guys are better builders
potentially because of their prior knowledge in the field, meaning
they've been raised and taught how to build. Women tended
to follow the directions better, but that also tended to
slow them down. Guys are both more efficient, faster, and
more productive than the hour long building sessions. So here's
(02:25):
what I'm gonna say, because they do say.
Speaker 6 (02:26):
Guys, they said man barely yes, But here's what I'm
going to do.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
I have one hundred dollars prize. We're gonna get too,
Ikea or some kind of chairs, Eddie, since you claim
men are better, let's go, Morgan. Do you guys want
to mat I'll give the winner. We'll do it in studio,
not today because I don't have the crap yet. You
guys will go at it the first person to build it.
When's the cash? Do we get to pick the furniture? No,
because I'm just gonna send Scooba out to get something
that's the same. Okay, So Eddie will be representing the
(02:54):
men the show agonistic men, and Morgan will be representing
the women.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, I'm ready for this.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Morgan's tough, though, dude, like she's like a Swiss army knife.
I get it. I get it. But I just built
a basketball goal last week, so you built a lot
of stuff. I may have to go with more.
Speaker 8 (03:12):
Listen, Bobby, I've been spending the last five years by
myself putting stuff together in my house.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
That's true too, Amy, If you're betting on this, you
guys are crazy. And I don't want to just jump
on Eddie because it's like he's a dude. I'm with
the dudes, but it's okay. I'm not even the same
for the dudes. I'm just same for me. No, I
believe in myself here. I hear you. But it does
say in the end they found that guys are potentially
better builders because of the prior knowledge. And I think
that Eddie has probably built a lot more stuff. Oh gosh,
(03:39):
four kids.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
And is older, so yeah, it would make more sense
that he's put more things together.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
But Morgan is capable.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Morgan extremely Like. I think Morgan could take my car
apart and put it bat together. Oh don't do that. No, okay,
so scow that. Oh but I haven't I have a
question a part of this.
Speaker 8 (03:55):
Does it just have to be put together in work
or does it have to be put together properly? That's weird, well,
but it's a fair question. It needs to work, Okay. Well,
the reason I asked this because guys do put it together,
and they.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Do it, buttes need to be used. We'll have all
the rules. But yes, you can't like pull what duct
tape out of your pocket and go like, ah, I
mean she's starting with that question, she's already down her.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
No, I'm asking because I've seen the villain.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Eddie's taking the roll of the hill. He didn't even
mean to.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
She was covering any like loopholes up to your point
of duct tape, and Eddie could just be like, oh,
I made it work.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
It's functioning, and who cares if I used all the parts.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Morgan is the face, Eddie is the heel. And wrestling,
Morgan's the good guy, Eddie's the bad guy. But just
how they're talking about each other and so sometimes right
for the villain. But Eddie is definitely the villain. And
that's not saying he's gonna lose. We're gonna get a furniture.
Same piece of furniture. You will not know what it is,
and I will give the one a one hundred bucks
of my own money. Let's go. I can't wait. I
don't know how'm gonna pick yet. Come on, Budds, you know,
(04:53):
I know, but I want to be on your side, dude,
the villain. I don't want to be on the villain side.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
We built a pickleball court, I know, but it's like, okay,
I don't that was a fantasy, Eddie.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Yeah, okay, let's let's play that. We're gonna line all
this up. We're gonna line all this up. Top pop
culture stories of the year. What comes to my first.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey. Something about them.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Interesting was that even this year where it started.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Football season, but they're together again and she was on tour,
and her tour is going to be one of the
biggest stories. So well, okay, because it's not make this
so they had the whole breakup thing happen this year.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Fight for it, but there's no need.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
I was going to fight for it. That letter that
got leaked and all.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
That was let aras tour. No, didn't make it, but
it's not it, Eddie. I'm gonna go Diddy.
Speaker 6 (05:42):
Oh yeah, I mean that's pretty big pop culture.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
News, very big. Yeah, it did not make the ranker list,
and the ranker list is all people that vote, so
it did not make fil that was so dark. Maybe
that's why. I mean, that's not like pop culture. That's
like pop bold sad culture. But that's a fair one.
Lunchboks hawk Tua Yeah, number one, Hawk to a girl,
Oh Hailey Welsh from a viral after a social media
video containing an off the cuff suggested Tip boosted her
(06:08):
to internet fame. So that's number one. She didn't come
on the show too, and she didn't do many shows,
and she came in and how a good time. She
was super nice and then then she blew up after that.
Well then the crypto stuff said, I haven't heard from Mike.
If you heard from her since she's been gone like
she I think she said on her ex, Twitter or
whatever you want to call that was got to go
(06:28):
to bed now, good night, to talk to you tomorrow.
Never talked to us. Yeah, yeah, that's crazy. Uh, any
other guesses on your list there? Because I can move
on and just read you the list.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Yeah, I guess just rid of the list.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
If I give it to you, like if I say Mudane,
because we've been talking about Moodang a lot, but I
know Moodang a lot. What's Moodang. Morgan know Moodang. Yeah,
you saw it on saw it? Tell him about Moodang.
Speaker 8 (06:48):
It's a little baby hippo, right, and uh it's over
in a foreign country. But he Moodang was like he
would do all these crazy things and he was just
your mood for the day.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
He would he would scream, he.
Speaker 8 (06:59):
Would run around, roll around and things, and there was
just video and content of him doing all these things.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
And you felt like Moodang Moodang's face because again he
was small, but you could put his face in your
opened palm. That's how small Moodang. That the pygmy hippo was, Well,
that's cute. Yeah, Moodang definitely had a minute, and the
minute still kind of going a little bit, but Moodang
was big for a while. Maybe if I say Harrison
Bucker at number nine, is that an athlete. It's a
(07:24):
Kansay Chiefs kicker who made controversial statements at a commencement
where many founders of remarks to be misogynistic patronizing and
diminishing carded women. Yes, remember that.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
I do recall.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Oh, by the way, got hurt the season he's out.
He didn't play, he didn't kick a ball. He kicked
early on. He kicked some right, Okay, yeah, Brat Summer, Amy.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
I don't know about Brat Summer.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I know about Brat Summer. Morgan know about Brat Summer.
Speaker 8 (07:50):
Yeah, it's kind of inspired by Bratt dalls. But it's like,
you know, how there was Hot Girl Summer, then there
was Brat Summer.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Brat Summer.
Speaker 8 (07:57):
I don't know that they gave an official definition of it.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Like Charlie XCX was the one who was like when
she put out a record and she like just goes
hard like she smoked, she parties, she's sloppy, puts out
great music like and then she's kind of been kind
of the face of Brat Summer because she had a.
Speaker 8 (08:13):
Song that went viral and I believe it was associated
with this Brat.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Summer, saying Brat Summer like a bratt.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Like party animal antics.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Okay, I see young girls like Morgan and I we
know about it. I'm lost. How about this The Willy
Wonka experience one of the bigger pop culture moments. I
don't you're gonna remember it. Think about it, you're gonna remember.
It was hilarious.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Willy Wonka experience.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
We talked about it. It was like chocolate Okay, so
they remember they built the big one and everybody went
to it and it was like just a couple of
balloons like paper like.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
People paid all the.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Money because it was like coming to the Willy Wonka
Experience and it was this big, interactive, immersive and then
they get there and it was like a warehouse with
a couple of bouncy It's.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Like, where's the chocolate river? Right?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
It was like the second version of Frive Festival kind of.
Speaker 9 (09:03):
But I feel like that's what people were kids for kids.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Yeah, this is going to run the tour. If I
say that, I should say like this, this is going
to ruin the tour.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Oh justin Timberlake getting a d w I and the.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Officer didn't know who he was. I remember that my
world tour is going to ruin the tour that the
cops did. What tour goes the world tour? That's funny.
Top pop Culture Moments of the Year, number five, And
I'll tell you who it is. Tell me if you
know why flavor flave.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
I don't know why.
Speaker 9 (09:36):
iHeart festival didn't make that part of it, he said,
single one flavor flav ed. No, no, no, no, Morgan, Yeah,
it's the Olympics.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yeah. He was the sponsor of the US woman's water
polo team for the Paris Olympics and because they didn't
make the money to go, and so he just paid
for it all and then went and was there the
whole time. Oh that's cool. You know you didn't know that. No,
I didn't know that. That's why I was there. And
Keith Urban when he was in here talking about he
was like palmmelhorse guy. Oh am because the Olympics were
a big part of it. And so is that Steven, Yeah,
(10:09):
I really feel like Dancing with the Stars really missed
a big opportunity. Obviously they don't have you back on
the show, but they should have had us do a
dance together because we I look like him, just a
little bit older, because he looked every times I flipped through,
I thought it was me. They were doing like an
old video. He's a nerdy guy, big glasses, like generic
white guy. Way way better of an athlete. Off, he's
(10:30):
an Olympian, but they could have definitely done something and
that would have been funny. They missed their spot there.
But no, he clearly got the bronze medal. It was
the first in two thousand and eight, and he went
on to be on Dancing with the Stars. He did
not win, though, Hey, I guess who did? And you
said I wasn't an athlete. Oh, I said that, never
mind who this year?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, I do know who that I forgot because I follow.
But they're not nice. They're not that nice to me.
We never had a five do anything that at that
nice to me. I always I got from The Bachelor.
That's why I didn't know. Okay, and his partner and
his partner, no, no, no, no, Joey, Joey, joe.
Speaker 9 (11:06):
Joey, j just Joey jo His partner is awesome because
I knew her from the show, Jenna.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
But Wicked is it?
Speaker 5 (11:16):
Three?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Okay? I still would like to see the movie. The
plays amazing, the play, the musical, whatever you want to
call it. It's great. Number two, very demure, very mindful.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, the viral TikTok thing that everyone was doing the TikTok.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
And when she was doing it, Jules, whatever her name is,
she wasn't doing it for any reason other than she was.
She never big following or anything. And then a colpeole
picked it up. The next thing, you know, it said
all the time, and now it's as old. Now don't
say it? What is it? Well, you guys don't very demure,
very mind, very demure. I have heard that.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Yeah, very cute.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
See very number one talks to him and I couldn't
I cannot say again how much she was killing it
in all elements of the world. She was making millions
of dollars before the crypto stuff she was killing and
she may make. I'm not saying she's over and done
because she is funny and if that, I hope is
(12:17):
on the downfall of her. But if so, wow, what
bad advice she took is she's still doing a podcast. No,
that's what's killing it for everything. That's just but she
stopped doing anything. Last week heard she was on a
what do you call a mic on a space a
space on Twitter talking with all the crypto people. She's
like reading a statement and I believe in my crypto
Well gotta go got by no one's ever heard from her.
(12:41):
So there you go. What a year twenty twenty four
he was. And by that, I mean on opposite day.
What other than the hippo you know that stuff pretty
lame news, Bobby's When you keep a secret, it's off
and said you carry a heavy burden. But they say
it actually does hurt your body a bit when you
(13:02):
keep a secret, because it's like a stressor, and stressors
actually do things to your body. Researchers explain that people
who keep something under wraps find everyday tasks like carrying
groceries physically harder. Oh wow, because keeping a secret up
stress level mess with your body and metabolism, hurt your memory,
et cetera. So, especially if it's a big secret, especially
if it's something that is not like a happy.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Secret, it's weighing on you.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Literally. That is from the Journal of Experimental Psychology, a
research journal. So I'd like for everybody to share an
unhappy secret they've been keeping for a long time. They
could hurt somebody. Go ahead, Amy, Okay, we better it.
Uh this OnlyFans model claims to have compromising Zach Bryan
video threatens to release it. So I do have a
(13:46):
clip of her talking about it on TikTok. Here you go.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
I honestly like, I'm scared to post it. No, you
should post it now, Zach.
Speaker 9 (13:54):
If you want to give me an NDA, I'll sign
over this video is dropping.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
I'll give you by the end of this month. So
Zach Bryan, I love the music. Been a fan for
a while. I got in a little bit of trouble
as far as like pr because his ex girlfriend beyond
trick or Fry, was like I was abused emotionally in
many ways, and he offered her twelve million dollars. Zach
Brian offered her twelve million dollars to keep her mouth shut. Now,
(14:19):
you don't offer somebody twelve million bucks keep my mouth shut,
les or something you want to keep the mouth shut about.
But she didn't take the money. She didn't take the money.
She didn't take the money. That's crazy, that's crazy. And
so this only fans models like I got a video
and if you don't wody to release it, give me
one of them NDA's.
Speaker 6 (14:36):
But she's cool with signing the NDA and not releasing it.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Money. Oh you get money with the ndiay?
Speaker 4 (14:43):
I thought she.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Means money. Yeah, No, we've had to sign India get
no money. I was like, that's like the Randy Travis
a I thing. It's like Eddie had to sign an
NDA and no money. Hey you crap? I know.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Well, yeah, this is more like.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Does this fall under blackmail or yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:05):
I mean I don't know that it actually does, because
she's saying I have.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
This video, but she's saying, if you don't offer me money.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
And also you can say you think she's kidding, like
she's on TikTok. She could always be the hey, I'm
just doing content. I don't I don't know, bones, guys,
sounds like black mail. I would say if it was
done just like privately and secretly, it definitely could be that,
like an extortion type thing. Because she's like a entertainer.
You could say, no, this is entertainment. The public figures
(15:32):
like there are a little weaseley ways to get around it.
But you're right, No, you're right. I probably if it's
a battle one, I'm price. So if he's gonna offer
some twelve million you were like one hundred thousand dollars,
that would be quiet. You know. The Cincinnati home of
quarterback Joe Burrow was broken into why I was playing.
Remember I was telling you, yeah, this is crazy, this
(15:54):
is too much. So he was playing the game in
Dallas while he was playing. And there are a couple
layers to the story. His house was broken into. The
sheriff's office got a nine on one call and the
person was saying her daughter was staying at the house
and the people had broken in. The daughter then called
nine on one and said, someone's broken into my house.
It's completely messed up. W LWT TV says a bedroom
(16:16):
inside the seven point five million dollar home was ransacked
and the burglar or burglars entered the home by shattering
a window. This happened to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey, has
happened to a basketball player. The post of the Bucks,
Bobby portis and there's like a ring of people. They say,
but it's the real, the juicy part, because this sucks.
The juicy party is like the girl woman who was
(16:38):
in his house is like a swimsuit model, and that's
how everybody knows that. Joe you his daughter, No, no, no,
Her mom called and said, my daughter's in the house,
and then the daughter called.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Here that I was just assuming that it was his daughter.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Have a daughter. He's single supposedly, but that daughter who
also caught called nine one one adult Dotter is the
SI model who's now dating Joe Burrow. That's how it
gets found out.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
But he has a longtime girlfriend, a lliged league.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Oh no, I thought he was single.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
That's trouble. If so this is trouble. Oh maybe maybe
maybe that is the case. Maybe I should say no more.
Speaker 6 (17:17):
Do you think that it's the same people traveling across
the country doing this or no.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
It can even be people that go ye or just general.
If you're not there, go, he's obviously not there. I
just know Joe Burrow stuff like people know. So I'm
just not gonna saything. But I think it's hilarious that
that's how they find out if it's batter whatever the case,
that's an unfortunate way to find out that you have
a girl at your house if you shouldn't. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Tokyo, Japan will implement a four day work week for
government employees next week to encourage women to have more kids.
Oh that's the reason next day for love?
Speaker 5 (17:53):
That's good or something.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
What you could do is do the love on the Wednesday
and then just have the other friday off to do it.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
But also I didn't take it just as that like
the but if you have the day off, it's more
time to be a present parent.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
No, like are you sure?
Speaker 4 (18:07):
No, I know, but it would encourage you.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
If you have more time to be home with your kids,
you were more likely to have them.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Fertility rate it's plummeted, and so that's why it's like,
we need you to be home and please do it. Interesting, yeah,
oh we don't need that. Here the day off. I'm like,
you guys need a day off. Social Media influencers growing
as a career choice colleges have noticed this. And here's
the thing. It's a thing. It's real, Like, we don't
(18:35):
need I say that many followers. If you have something
you're really good at talking about and you can focus
on it, and you can have seven thousand followers, eleven
thousand followers solely built, you can make a pretty decent
at least side living, because that's a real job. Now
it's like a TV commercial. You have TV commercials. Micro
influencers make decent money. Like it's a real thing, and
(18:55):
so it's not crazy like it used to be, Like
I'm an influencer, what do you have ones. I don't
know anything, but like if the people that are specific
like broccoli, it's a really weird one, but it could
be leggings. It could be I'm gonna go and test
out that you can make a decent career if you're
dedicated and disciplined at it. And so yeah, that's it.
(19:18):
That's that. And then finally, if you're relaxed and patient,
you have a better chance of losing weight. This is
back to kind of that first thing too, the first
story we talked about where it's hey, if you're holding
a secret because you know, Amy, like you always said
that that book that the body tells the story. Body
keeps the score, whatever mine tells the story. Mind's like competitive,
mind just tells the story. Are playing games, Impatient people
(19:42):
are more likely to gain weight if you're on edge
and in a hurry all the time that tension exists
also needs some sort of outlet. So not only is
a tension bad for your body, but the tension is
needing some sort of like tranquilizer to chill, and most
of time just met with food. So it's kind of
the double whammie. It's eating you up on the inside
because right. And secondly, it's like I need something to
(20:02):
give me a bit of relief, and most of the
time it's met with food, and sometimes it's best food.
Otherwise it's like crack on stretch. Crack. Food's better.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
You can imb out with multiple things.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Cracks when I go could have gone alcohol. That's the
news Bobby's story. There we go on the Bobby Bones Show.
Now he Austin was a weird when this story kind
of blew up and you were all over the news.
Speaker 10 (20:32):
Yeah, you could say that.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Whoa, So you look great. By the way, was that
your wife?
Speaker 10 (20:38):
It is?
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, great? You guys like a plus amazing And you
went to the CMAS, and I hope you first of all,
do you have a good time with the CMAS? We did.
Speaker 10 (20:45):
We had a great time.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
And so you knew you shouldn't have left, right or
were you confused about that you could go to the
CMA sins. It was kind of work related.
Speaker 10 (20:52):
We say permission to lead to go somewhere. In the
first part of Jane we were in court and the
latter part of Gene and I got cast in a
movie that was shooting down and the Dominican and we
had asked to leave the country to go to be
a part of that movie, and the judge, you know, said,
not verbatim, but basically said, I don't want you leaving
(21:13):
the country, but I don't have a problem with you
leaving the state for work. And so we took that
as we could leave the state for work. So it
was a misunderstanding. Then it certainly got blown out of
proportion here. So I'm not a moron. I certainly wouldn't
have went and then posted it everywhere if I thought
I couldn't go.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
I get even if you know you shouldn't go, but
you still go. And but then when you posted the picture,
I was like, there must be something to this part
of it. We don't know, unless you were just so
proud of how good you guys look, because then I
got that too, because you guys did look really good.
So from when you posted the picture, when did the
story start to trickle out that like, hey, maybe you
shouldn't be there.
Speaker 10 (21:50):
I think the post went up. I think management put
my post up on maybe on Thursday or Friday, and
I think it came out on over the weekend or Monday.
I honestly can't remember the exact.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Day were you shocked that it was a story.
Speaker 10 (22:03):
Yeah, honestly, I mean I was shocked more about all
the national attention it got, you know, I mean it
got picked up. I think over fifty different platforms picked
it up, you know. So I was, yeah, shocked by that. Honestly.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
Well you look good. I'll say that one more time.
That's what I'm saying to the show here, like I
don't know what he's doing while he's thinking it. If
you can do it, but as a heck of a picture,
like if you're gonna go down, that's a heck of
a picture. Now it turns out you were not supposed
to leave, is that correct?
Speaker 10 (22:31):
We assumed that we didn't have to file emotion since
it was said in open court, but that was our misunderstanding.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Since then, are you wearing an ankle monitor?
Speaker 10 (22:39):
Unfortunately, yes, I am.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
How is it? Does it? Is it annoying? Like do
you like kick it? I don't know it. Yeah, I
would think i'd be annoyed. And yeah, and does it
like tell you your blood pressure and stuff or like
an oral ring or is it just like letting no no?
That would be great yeah, yah yah.
Speaker 10 (22:54):
If there was an I could get some bottles and
stuff that'd be really cool, but no, it doesn't, it
doesn't do any of that.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
When they gave you that to put it on, what
do they tell.
Speaker 10 (23:02):
You standard stuff? I guess, you know, just basically just
a band of court order, which we would never blatantly
disobey one anyway, right, but you know, everybody wants to
talk about that part. You know, I feel I know
for a fact that we you know, I'm going to
be fully exonerated of all of this and I look
forward to that happening soon. And uh so, you know
(23:24):
we I wouldn't have I wouldn't have blatantly disobeyed a
court order. Again, you know, it was just a misunderstanding.
You know, it is what it is. But people don't
want to talk about They want to talk about that.
But you know, the that's I guess more newsworthy than that.
All the good stuff, right, all the charities we're involved in,
and all the all the things that we get to do.
You know, a couple of weeks ago, we raised almost
four hundred thousand dollars for the Christian Service Center, which
(23:46):
is going to feed, you know, families and do some
really cool stuff in our community. They don't want to
talk about our involvement with the Child Rescue Initiative, where
we've rescued over two thousand kids from slavery and we
take care of them to adulthood. They don't talk about
all that stuff, but you know we that's not as newsworthy.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
I guess, yeah, that's not as clickable. I get that.
Another question, another question about the ankle bracelet. Did they
put it on or do you put it on yourself?
Speaker 10 (24:11):
No, they definitely put it on.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
That sucks because I leave it a little loose. I'd
leave it a little loose, and then I'd like sometimes
you go to a comer.
Speaker 10 (24:17):
You can't get it, you can't get it off, but
you know, it took a day or two to kind
of get used to it.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
I guess you go to like even ag at water
park and you leave your bracelet a little loose, you
can pass it over to your friend. That's that's how
I would leave the ankle bracelet because then I would
like slide it off and like, hey, I'm going to
head over here for a while. I my wife wear
it for a little bit so it stays in like
the little the little radius. So what happened why are
you possibly in trouble?
Speaker 10 (24:42):
I can't get into it because it's an active case,
but what I can tell you is it's absolutely false.
And again I'm looking forward to a full vindication, fullet desoneration,
and hopefully that will be soon. You know, the court
system doesn't move fast, but I'm ready for it to
be over with for sure.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Are you able to play shows at all or just
you have to play them near the house?
Speaker 10 (25:04):
No, not right now, but hopefully soon.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Yeah, dang, it kind of would be cool to have
an ankle bracelet on them, because nothing about me screams
hardcore nothing. I'm I'm a geek, I'm a nerd all
the stuff. But if I was like, yeah, I can't
go anywhere as my ankle break, that dude, I would
be so that would be so legit because I'd be like, dang,
what'd you do? And I'd be like, can't talk about
an active case? Oh tell me that ain't outlaws much.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Just love it because you wouldn't have to go anywhere.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
That also would be the secondary reason. They'd be like, well,
you can't leave the state. No, no mindselse, I can't
leave the house. And because I don't want to go anywhere.
Speaker 10 (25:39):
Okay, Yeah, be an extrovert. It's not that fun.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah, being an introvert. It sounds like a delight to
have one of them.
Speaker 10 (25:45):
My wife would love it. My wife would love it.
Speaker 9 (25:47):
But not me.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Does it ever beep or does it just chill?
Speaker 10 (25:50):
No, it's just chill.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
I would like for mind to be there. Like I said,
I'd have an alarm on it in the morning, wake
me up. I would use it for multipurpose, you know,
it'd be it'd be a alarm, it'd be time tap
of medicine, like a different medicine, not an apple watch
man feed the dogs. Yeah, oh no, that's what it is, isn't, Austin.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
So it's just tracking where you are. It's not like
listening to you right, never know?
Speaker 10 (26:14):
Yeah, well, I mean we I assume it isn't listening.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Don't anything demos in it?
Speaker 10 (26:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Great point. I'd record demos. I'd push down there and
be like, oh, here's the one about being a doing
hard time in Alabama. Oh man, the Aggle race like
that would be awesome. Okay, look, Austin, this has been fun.
I feel like you're probably a pretty good dude. I
don't know. We'll so to hope the court clears you
hope everything's awesome, and and and the court was like,
well we're wrong about that. Otherwise, Oh go ahead.
Speaker 10 (26:42):
No, I was gonna say, there's a couple of things
I'd love to talk about if you have a moment.
We do have a song coming out when this airs,
it should be out.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
We talked about it. We know us already. There been, there,
done that, Buddy already playing.
Speaker 10 (26:54):
Okay, I miss that part. The other thing I wanted
to mention with the two charities that we're supporting. Uh,
I want to mention on this show. So if anyone
that goes to the link on my link tree and donates,
we're going to match up to ten thousand dollars. So
anybody that goes and donates to either one of the charities,
Skyle and I want to match up to ten thousand dollars.
(27:15):
And so I'd really love for you guys to share
that these are incredible causes. The one hundred percent of
every dollar that's donated goes out to these causes. There's
one hundred percent volunteer organizations which we love to support,
and so I really wanted to talk about that. You
know our pastor Fred Franks at Allen Church always says
love God, love people, and the way that you love
(27:37):
people is through serving. And so I want to use
this opportunity to make sure that we have some good
come out of it.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
So, hey, great, you guys. Follow Austin Austin L. Ten
Or on Instagram. Austin, I look ford to seeing you
in person, buddy, and hopefully right here in this room.
That'd be really cool.
Speaker 10 (27:52):
All right, man, absolutely, we look forward to doing it.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
All right, Thanks Austin, See later, man, you all have
a great day. I've been handled this. This is what he is,
allegedly all the words, allegedly the court, Yeah yeah, court
hit me up. He was adotted by a grand jury
for insurance fraud and more. In April. He allegedly inflated
hours and rates. We talked about this charge to a
condo association while working as a property loss adjuster. He
was free on a twenty thousand dollars bond pinning his trial.
(28:16):
All this was supposed to get settled. Okay, So we
know all that, and I get it. Look, if I
were in trouble, I'll be saying, hey, don't it's charity too.
That's you know, I'm sure he believes in it, but
I would be saying the nextra maybe you know. But
then again, if I'm like, man's that for a church part.
Don't want to give him money.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
But he also said that he's going to be fully exonerated.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
No, but I would say that too. All those things out,
like all it all makes sense, and I hope he
didn't do any of it. But I'm just like, if
I go, I'm looking for somewhere, I'm probably gonna hope
for a second he.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
Got me believe he's innocent by all the charities involved
with Like.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
I would look at everything good I've done, yees say
it all hey, like I love more talking about more
about the good stuff. Me too.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
I mean, he saved a lot of kids, So I
was like, man, and he.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Probably really has been involved with it. I don't take
anything away from that, but I'm saying, if I were
just thinking about it, I'll be like, I'm a whole
I'd give my money to him, but no, check it out.
I hope it's clear. I hope everything help. It's all wrong,
and I hope he comes up here one day, and
I appreciate him coming on the show. But I just
needed to say that because I felt that, and I
think my audience would be upset if I didn't say
how I really felt, because I don't know that he
(29:15):
did it, but I don't know that he didn't. Breaking news.
Ready ready, ready, ready, Oh, I think I am lactose intolerant. Oh.
I've never had this before. I think it's developed later
in life, and it's it sucks for everybody that's had
(29:37):
to deal with this. I've never laughed at it. I've
never been in a joke. But if I did, I'm sorry.
That's up.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
You didn't understand.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
I've been sick for weeks and I do think I
had a stomach bug. But I think now I had
a bowl Cereal two am. This morning's real milk. Obviously
nod with sand. I just put sand on serious interesting combo. Well,
you might have used yo, know, I'm just kidding. No
yoga yogurt and Cereal, Marley, hippie, what's going on over
(30:07):
there with your yogurt? Cereal? I do it yogurt, but
never was Cereal. It's like orange juice and Cereal, Psycho.
I might check our computer for what you've been looking up. Okay,
for sure. I've been talking with my doctor and I
had a terrible stomabug and he's like, yeah, sometimes with adults,
once they get to their forties, they can develop like
an intolerance. To you, guys, I want to tell you
(30:27):
how big of a deal this is, because there are
big things happening in the world, and I could list
the current events that aren't great, and I'll add this
to it because I love cereal and I can't have
cereal and I'm not gonna be the same some of
my favorite things in life.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
But you can use a milk like a nut milk.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
You could. Yeah, it's not the same, guys, or like
Amy said, yogurt. It's not the same. But there are
many things worse in the world than this. But it
is a bad then. I'm just wanted. I want to
share that I think I ninety now, as an adult man,
have become lactoast intolerant.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
What if you take lactaid before your cereal?
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Oh yeah, my father in law does that. That's the thing.
Why not? Where it depends, you know, there's a lot
of options here. Well, just adhere to the seventy year old.
I identify a seventy year old.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
Okay, that means no more ice cream.
Speaker 11 (31:17):
That could mean you know, I know what it means, losers.
You don't have to keep rubbing it in. Oh so
I've been living with this my whole life. But I
just you're not too intolerant. I am, and I eat
it anyway.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Eddie taking it away from me.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yeah, because you're also not like toast in tolerant. I
watched you eat a whole pizza. No, I watch you
eat a whole pizza it come to work the next
day and you're fine, You're mister pizza. Yeah, I do
love pizza. Yes, So anyway, it's not that big of
a deal, except it is if everything happened in the world.
I'm surprised this isn't like number one on Foxings you're.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
Seeing it, Well, it will be now you just announced it.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
Well, here's the thing too, Like I had to like
strategically you ever see that game, that Froggert game, Amy,
It's an old game, and you had to like bounce
across the street when the cars weren't. They had to
like time it just right. No, I feel like I
had to play that to get to work today in
my car because I was gonna poop my pants. But
I had like time.
Speaker 11 (32:11):
I had to hurry, get there, deep jump, get in
the car, hoop bathroom, get good bathroom.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
It's tough. And I did not bring an expert of pants,
so I didn't make it okay. But I think I'm
like tost A Tollerant and that isn't it? That sucks?
And we'll get there the homely. Yes, together, Hey, together,
we'll get there together.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
We'll get there. There's a lot.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
I was in the bathroom for like twenty minutes this
morning here at work, and Eddie texts me and he
goes need help, and I said, how can you help me? Man?
I said, just come hold my hand. Oh that's where
I drew the line. And then I was like, you're
on your own. He still he still did it, but
from across under the stall. He wasn't in the stall
with me. I'm glad everybody is here. We had a
(32:52):
heck of a show. If you get a few minutes
and you want to go listen to George Burge and
his wife. That was really fun. His wife did not
plan to be on the show today, but she was
in the green room and she came in. That's a
fine dynamic because as George is about to have his
second number one with she.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
Only listens cowboys songs.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
We didn't care much about George.
Speaker 7 (33:11):
It's about his wife that it was cool to hear
her perspective on the whole thing career and you know
the how they've gone, like taken this journey together because
it hasn't been easy.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
And I wrote on my Instagram as I was at
lactoting is how you call it? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
the bad thing forever, dude. It feels like, I know, man,
when I left, we were in the old building. I
came out of the stall. We were in this building,
So I wrote as I was in there, the whole
thing about George, it's like man sometimes as an artist
and not even as an artist, just in a career
you love, like he didn't quit and at times he
(33:44):
had to supplement in other ways to continue to keep going.
And the fact that he's having success now is really
cool because I think that's the normal story. It's not
the glamour story. And I'm again I'm not just talking
about music artists. I'm talking about life. When it's something
that you really are dedicated to and you want to
do and you believe it and you're passionate about it.
I can say, if you love it, keep doing it.
Sometimes life happens and you can't just love and pay
(34:05):
the bills. You can't just love something do it and
pay the bills because you got kids, you got mortgage.
But there are ways to continue doing it and do
other things to make that money. Like I have a
friend I won't say who he is. Now he's awesome
as an artist, and for a while as he was
making his life, he was like sickly driving Ruber because
he was like, I'm not stopping and he drove uber
(34:29):
for like six months. And now he's wildly successful. But
sometimes in life we have to do some of the
things that maybe we feel like do I need, do
I do this? Do I quit? Yeah, sometimes you supplement
it with things that aren't comfortable so you can be
super comfortable and being fulfilled. So I'm proud of him,
But I think bigger than that, I think we all
have it in us to win if we choose to focus,
(34:51):
and sometimes we have to do other things just to
get there. But that's it good anything else?
Speaker 3 (34:56):
No, I like that encouragement, and I yeah, there's a
beautif well story.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
I liked her talking about her support for.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Him, and now he was like, hey, stop being so
humble because she never once mentioned how she was having
to raise the kids and do the real estate gone,
and then he would be.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Gone and not just gone like making less money than
like losing money, like being paid like eight hundred bucks,
but it cost him thirteen hundred to go do the
show to get the band out of there.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
There's just there are the type of people you root.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
For, not me anymore right for me because I'm lactose
in tolerant and i really need help. I need to
support them. Set up and go fund me. Good good,
you need it for sure if we can all just
my life's been changed. We need research on you. We do.
We need funding. We're gonna have another radio thn starting
tomorrow and uh that's all okay, we will come back
home Bobby Bone show. Sorry up today.
Speaker 12 (35:46):
This story comes us from clear Water, Florida. A thirty
one year old woman went through the drive through it
raising canes, put her ordering, got her food, drove home,
open it up, no cane sauce missing eight packs cane sauce.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Drives back to the restaurant.
Speaker 12 (36:03):
You forgot my sauce, Like, oh sorry, ma'am, here's eight sauces.
You need to give me more sauces. Like, ma'am, you
only get one per item. So she punched the manager
and tried.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
To steal his keys. You would think, though, they would
have given her a little extra because they messed up. Yeah,
it's a lot, though, it's a lot, akine sauce is
what are you gonna do with all those eight sauces
unless you're gonna save them, which we used to do
that save them for another day, put them in the fridge.
But if you order eight, they forgot to put eight
in and you go back and you ask for ten.
I think they should meet you with ten, although I
don't think you should meet him at the punch of
the face.
Speaker 5 (36:32):
Oh keys, she tried to steal the keys.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
Sauce.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
I don't know, but she tried.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
You know, he had them eased to what the car
that oh.
Speaker 12 (36:42):
He had him on is like a little loop on
his belt, and he tried. She tried to grab him
like you know, the janitor has.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Them on there.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Yeah, like Amy said, to get into all the sauce,
or to steal his car.
Speaker 12 (36:51):
It just says tried to steal all the keys. Okay,
I'm lunchbox at your bonehead Story of the day.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
