Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time for the Bobby Bones post show. Here's your host,
Bobby Bones. There's a list of other celebrities who bought
tickets to space. You know, Star Trek guy's going, William Shatner,
I think ninety. My theory is he's going to go

(00:23):
up and just be released into space because it's a
great theory. He'll forever be known as that. Or he
just spent so many years fascinated space because you've worked
on Star Trek and he just wants to go up
there for ten minutes, which is what he's doing. Now.
We both know that it is pretty rational. I don't
know yours sounds pretty good. He's not the only one
going to space. Where a bunch of people bought tickets

(00:44):
for Virgin Galactic, they paid at least two hundred thousand dollars.
Here are the celebrities who have bought tickets so far.
Justin Bieber, really, Kate Winslet, Rihanna Brad Pitt, Lady Gaga, Wow,
Leo DiCaprio, Angelina, Jolie Russell Brand surprised he has money.

(01:06):
I feel I feel like he has a lot more
money than we think, right, you feel like he has
more money than we think. Yeah, like you wouldn't think
he had a lot of money. I don't know what
I think. You said he has so much money? That's
me though, But would you think about no, because he
was I mean he was. He was famous for a
little bit, not for a long long time that money. Oh,
I don't know. He he also wrote a book, he did, Hey, listen,
I tell you I've got a couple of books and
he's setting you for life. No, oh, I don't know.

(01:28):
I guess I just had this perception that he made
more money than we think. I'm sure he did. I'm sure.
I think you're right, but I'm surprised Mike was Russell
brand worth twenty million a lot of money. How much
are tickets to space? How much it's one percent of
his worth? Affordable? Maybe that's his uh advanced first book.

(01:51):
Maybe Katy Perry but they're not going together probably Oh no,
no, no no, Tom Hanks, um, so he's been already though,
Way that wasn't real. Since all these celebrities are going,
does it make you feel more comfortable to go? Nope? Either,
I'm worried about them. Good luck, Mike d said, Hey
asked the show off? If you could make one of

(02:13):
them not come back? Who would it be? Wait? What
of all the celebrities I mentioned? He goes ask the show,
which one you'd like to keep up in spell? Like
they live there? No, no, like they don't like something happens,
they don't come back. We're not doing this. Was Tom
Cruise in that list. We're not doing that bit. Yeah,
why would you? And poor Russell you don't even know him,
I know, but I mean that's what I'm saying, Like
he could be gone and I wouldn't be like, hey,

(02:33):
where's Russell? I wouldn't that now, but I would any
none of them pay if if forever? Who else? Brad Pitt?
He's on the list. If I like him, me too.
But I'm just saying if I never heard another thing
about Brad Pitt the rest of my life, I don't
think I'd be walking around going, huh, where's all Brad Pitt?
These days? Maybe you would angel so much of their

(02:56):
art that exists. I could just stay satisfied that way. Yeah,
it's like an old musician. You don't have to keep
making music unless you're just doing it for your own
heart and soul. Like once you're old and you're kind
of past your prime making hits. We'll listen to the hits.
We're fine to Tom Petty died and I was like,
to me, Tom Petty's never dead because once he started
making music that I didn't listen to anymore. I would

(03:16):
always still listen to the old stuff. And so he's
still alive to me. Tom Petty hasn't died to me.
He's still alive because I'm not missing out on anything
because I still love Tom Petty and his music and
I didn't need to make more because when he did,
I'd never listened to it. That makes sense. Yes, so
Tom Petty still alive to me, although he's really dead.
But yeah, not to me. If you told me Tom

(03:38):
Petty was alive and I never heard it, I would
believe it. There's no reason for me to fill otherwise.
He's not some a central figure in my life that
I know anyway. So who would you send up there?
You cannot come down? Yes, I'm not doing that bit.
It'd be somebody cut your music. Oh boy, That's why
I'm not doing that bitum which one. Here's the thing, Eddie,

(03:59):
I know you, like you said, you're ready for Hollywood
after our big shoot yesterday. I don't think we're supposed
to talk about that or post pictures of it. Stop it.
The boss gave me the picture. He doesn't know, I mean,
he just gets Should I pull it down? No? No,
Now it's been up a whole day. But I didn't
say what we were doing. And you even tagged raging idiots,
So you did. I did, yeah, but it was you

(04:19):
and me and I'm wearing my hat. So obviously we
did a shoot yesterday and I was. I saw Eddie
post it and I was like, oh, I don't think
it was supposed to announce that yet no one said anything.
Maybe I don't follow you. Maybe there's not a big
modelment Scuba Steve, what do you know? I would just say,
going to the next subject? Yeah right, you can't talk
about it as a client involved. We should just what's

(04:41):
the next thing you got in your sheet? Oh? We're
moving on? Oh just like that. Well, when I saw
Eddie post it, I was like, well, why didn't you
text me scuba and other things going on? That's not
my only thing in life? Oh, worrying about your It's
real tough when we're on this post show in life
and real life he'd never told. He wouldn't ever talk
to me like that. Could you beat Scoop up? No? No,

(05:02):
he's tough. I wouldn't want to fight anyway. He's tough.
That Jake Jillenhall film is the number one film on Netflix.
Everybody's talking about Squad Game, which is a show nine episodes,
but there's a Jake Jillenhall movie on there, and Mike
saw this. It's called What the Guilty and What is It?

(05:22):
He plays a detective who gets demoted to a phone
operator and the nine one call center and he's trying
to help somebody who's been abducted. But the whole movie
sounds good. Yeah, it's really good. It's only ninety minutes
and the whole movie is basically just Jake Jillenhall's face.
Is it a Netflix movie? Yeah, rare that a Netflix
movie is so good? Yeah, because some of them are

(05:43):
pretty good. This one's really good. Really. Yeah. The whole
movie is one location, basically just him on the phone
the entire time, and all the other actors are just
voice actors. What okay, So you just watch him on
the phone the whole time. Yeah, it's that good. Yeah,
it's good. What do you what do you give it?
I give it four out of five nine one one
calls one else seen this? What's it called the Guilty?

(06:03):
What did you give Squid Game? Oh? I mean it's
almost a perfect show, almost a perfect show. I mean,
do you give it five? I did? Like, I give
it five. I get there's nothing I didn't like about it.
The Korean was hard at first, Yeah, like getting to
like watching the dub. I didn't. What do you mean?

(06:24):
I just watched it in Korean with the subtitles subtitles
you did? Well, here's the weird thing I did both.
I watched in English dub and I had the subtitles
because sometimes they were slightly different. But the voice actor
that does it in English is goofy. I think that
was meant to be that way. Really, Yeah, they are,
I mean I did. I watched Narcos with voiceovers, and
that's just they are. They just are like a they

(06:46):
have like I know what you're saying, like might just
die today? Response? Yes, it's very dramatically. I could do
a better job between a voice actor for a different language. Yeah,
I go. But I give it five out of five
squids Yeah, I give it five to five. I wish
other people would watch it. I want to start watching it.
My TikTok account is all squid games. It's it's all

(07:07):
I mean, it's let me just pull my out of
you posting things. The funniest squid game stuff is on TikTok. Now, yeah,
it's let me just pull up and see how many
till I get a squid game TikTok skip bad. Here
we go. That was the second one, well the first one.
The other one was wasn't Urban Meyer? Oh of course,
Servan Myers all over it. So here you go. Here's um,

(07:30):
here's another one. Pfuid Gal. That's two? What are they doing?
Me and squid game? That's number three? So and there's
a Morgan wall one. Um are they doing anything funny? Like?
What is They're all hilarious? What are the joke? I
can tell you that much? Oh really? Yeah? Yeah, he
doesn't want to spoil anything. And then get I was
trying to get him to do it. Reprimand him. He's

(07:52):
too smart. Not true but not true. Not true. You
think that you're going to end up spoiling something. I said,
he's that he's smart. It's not true. Yeah, I'm not
too smart, right, not true. Caroline Hobby's podcast Get Real
with Caroline Hobby. She has a fashion expert on Kirby Ryan.
They talk about how you can transform your wardrobe with
clothes you already have in your closet. And that's no

(08:13):
matter what size and how old you are. You have
the right and you owe your wardrobe and yourself to
feel good about yourself. It's very inspiring, I'm told. But
check it out Get Real with Caroline Hobby. It is
a podcast that you can check out. That is. It
is a great podcast. She comes on this sometimes with us.
M Let's see here, what was that other Jake Jillen

(08:33):
Halls movie that was really good? Nightcrawler. Yeah, it's great.
That was really good. Yeah. Ray you saw an accident? Yeah,
four car accident ten feet away from it, ten feet
super close. So that's me to Eddie. Yeah, shorter than that. Yeah.
I was at a brunch spot with my wife and
the sprunge spot is actually on the road and it
was ten am on a Saturday. We're just chilling their

(08:54):
drinking some mimosas. In this car, this Explorer is flying
forty miles an hour. Boom boom, boom, three cars that
were in line at the light hit all three of them,
hate it, and it was popping glass. At first I
thought it was gunshots. It was kind of hard to
know what happened. Then you're like, oh, my gosh, that
car was on his cell phone. Well, then we find
out the dude had white claws in his car. He

(09:16):
had other drug paraphernalia. Apparently he like passed out from
doing drugs and then just drilled all these cars. Luckily,
nobody injured. Everybody fine. TV shows romanticized car rex Sometimes
we're like, oh, it would be really cool to see
one of those bone you actually hear one. I hate it.
It is an ugly sound. Aside from the people getting
hurt or dying, Like I'm removing the really hainous parts

(09:37):
of a car accident, just the hitting of metal on metal,
because on TV it's like sh You're like, oh wow,
it ain't like that. In real life, it's like oooh wow.
Once we were living in Austin, we were downtown. I
saw a car run a red light. It was like
one in the morning. We were out on sixth Street,
like West sixth Street, and I saw a car t

(09:59):
bone in another car. It flew through the red light.
The other car was going like fifty boom right in
the middle of it. The car went spinning, and I
was like, I cannot believe what I saw. Luckily there
were hundreds of people around that saw it all, but
it was I mean, I can still hear it. Yeah,
it all starts with that's with the wheel of the
time squill on this one. Nothing. It just didn't even
hit the bar, was running, ran a red light. Other

(10:20):
person didn't see it because it was like instantaneous. So
you ever do the thing where you're sitting at a
light and there's a lane to the left of you,
and that lane to the left of you is actually
a turning lane, so they get to go first, and
so you're just sitting there and you go, oh, I
should go too, and you hit the gas and yeah, yeah, yeah,
sometimes you have to What do you mean, sometimes you
just have to do it if you're stuck in that lane. No,

(10:41):
I don't think I'll show what I'm saying. No, it
means peripherially, you see people going see you think you
have a great light, and then you realize then you
then you look back up in a second and no
one went almost nailing that car in front of you,
and then you have to like go, let's see and
put your car in reverse. I do like to messle
my wife and tell her go when it's red. No,
why would you do that? It was the only moves

(11:02):
for a little bit. And then she's like, oh why
did you do that? Come on? But all it takes
this one bad one and just joking stop but all
it takes us one mess up more than that and
there's a racking. You're right, it's not a great game,
but it's a version of squid games. You haven't seen it.
What does his wife? You can't joke you haven't seen it?
Red light Yeah, that's in the trailer. I know. Yeah,
we're red light green light, red light, green light boom. Yeah,

(11:25):
it's crazy. Uh, we need to talk about the Harry
Potter movie because today was the day Eddi's supposed to
have it done. Oh yeah, but lunchbox isn't here, so
there's an extension. No one said that. I figured, no,
why why would you? Just because if you have a
homework assignment in school and your classmates absent so you
don't have to do it, Yeah, like say only one
person showed up, to school and no one else did.

(11:46):
I'm not going to be the one only one to
take the test. We'll wait till everyone gets here. I
don't know about that, but I think he's gonna come
back and go I know the baby. I didn't have
time right, so we can always send him an email
down and remind them you're completely independent. So Monday, we'll
give you till Monday. Great, I'll take it. I'm halfway done.
I started watching it. It's a dude. This is a
two and a half hour movie, but the first one

(12:07):
two and a half hour. They they don't need to
be that long. And I'm starting to write notes too.
Because of the last test. I just didn't remember stuff,
and I'm having a hard time again remembering stuff here,
Like the names are just ridiculous, Gobbit or something. I
don't know what the dude's name is, Gobbit? Which one
would that be? Morgan's name? Gobbit? The little guy Dobby,

(12:27):
see Dobby. I would have gotten that wrong. Eddie says,
something's not right in the world today. It's not. People
are going crazy. Go ahead, you guys are talking about
car wrex Well. I saw a guy the other day.
There was just traffic going on, you know, like about
ten cars or whatever in line, and obviously this guy
was late, so he just decides to just skip everyone

(12:48):
and goes to like that turning lane like you're talking
about bones, and he goes around the turn lane and
he goes through the red light, slows down, looks both ways,
and books it. And then it was one of those
streets where there's red lights visible. You can see four
red lights. He did it all the way. He would
just run red lights. And when I remember when I
was a kid, I went to Mexico, Mexico City, they

(13:08):
don't stop at red lights. They literally it's a every
red light is a yield, like you like, slow down,
no one there, boom. And that's the way the whole
city operates. Not in America, Like if someone runs a
red light, you're like, whoa, that's crazy. This guy was
running all of them, And I'm like, dude, just because
you're late, and he had a kid in the car.
I'm like, this wouldn't have happened normally. Like I just

(13:31):
see people acting weirdly, airplane fights weird. So you think
it's a cultural thing now more than it does some
crazy guy because I don't see the red lights of
having people are just getting Like I was playing video
games yesterday. I got home, played some video games and
I got and I didn't have my headset on. But
I can hear people talking. This guy misses it's a
basketball game. He misses a shot, and the other guy
starts yelling at him, why don't you start playing better phones.

(13:53):
They yelled at each other for five minutes, calling each
other names. I'm like, what what's wrong? I wanted to
get on my headset and me like, what's wrong with you? Two?
Just relax? Is a video game? And then finally they
were like, all right, let's just relax. Okay, we got
to play this game together, same team, same team. All
I hear is Eddie had time for video games but
not Harry Potter. What well, No, I had time for

(14:16):
Harry Potter. I just didn't watch it because I figured
we weren't doing time for video games and not Harry Potter,
but posting Instagram pictures you should have been posting. I mean,
I know I shouldn't have. Why didn't you tell me?
I didn't know. I just saw in the middle of
the day I or the evening, Eddie's like ready for Hollywood,
and I'm like, oh, I didn't know what. Hey, we
can't talk about it anymore. Let's just move on next page.

(14:36):
We will on the show maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day. Um, Abby,
got a little something going on with the dude online.
Oh I don't want to hold on I say too much.
But Abby, would I be out of place to say
that you got a little something going on with a
guy online? Possibly? Yeah? Yeah? Do you get like text
Getty butterflies. I don't know about Getty butterflies. We'll see.

(14:59):
I don't know where this is. Guy. I've never had
this before, so I don't know. Wait, you've never had
what what's happening because you've gone to say before? No,
I don't think so. Not yet. Yeah. No, it hasn't
been on a date. No, no no, no, not yet. But
we're in the talking before. We'll talk about on the
show maybe tomorrow. This guy's done something different. Oh yeah,
it's different than just someone send you a DM right,

(15:19):
Oh yeah, for sure. Video. Oh No, I'm just worried
it's somebody on this show. That's what I'm worried about too.
It's just seems like it's too They talk about tomorrow morning.
Like some people that work with us, I would not
put it pass them to go get a phone number,
oh Michael, or get like a yeah, fake phone number.

(15:42):
You think they would really? I don't know. Ye. I
think you're great and I want you to meet somebody,
But just I don't trust some people. Me neither. Okay,
we'll talk about it tomorrow on the radio show. Okay, interesting,
I need to know what's being done. The only thing
that's saving this is that Lunchbox is totally preoccupied with

(16:04):
the new baby. He's a brand new dad, like third baby.
Now he has three kids. He does not have time
for them. His whole family's in town. Okay, well maybe
he does. The last post was a nap that his
wife took. Okay, listen, I don't know. He talks about
he works all the time, but he takes a four
hour nap every day. That's not all the time. If

(16:24):
you're still going to bed at a regental hour and
you get a four hour nap, that's not working all
the time. Also, I don't even know what he does
after this show. I don't know what other you know.
And so Abby, we'll let you tell that story tomorrow. Okay.
Sounds good. Yeah, Amby, what's going on with you today?
I'm going to look well, I have a podcast interview
with Mattie Nelson. She's awesome. I'm super excited about that.

(16:46):
I don't know who that is. He Oh, she's lives
in Dallas. She's become an influencer online. But I met
her in eighty years ago before she even had an
Instagram account. Really, but now she has I don't know,
seven hundred eight hundred thousand followers and she's a mom
and her husband's aer NFL player David Nelson. Oh, yeah, yeah,
I played. Would you say David Nelson? Who that is?
Played Buffalo Bills for a while. Yeah, I know. And

(17:07):
he played with Tim Tebow somewhere. I met them. I
met him in Haiti. He's the original connection years ago.
And then so she's gonna I'm interviewing her today, and
then I'm shopping for a rug for my living room,
a rug that brings me joy. I haven't found it yet.
Would you say that Stanley my bulldog is an influencer?
He has ninety one thousand followers. Yeah? Maybe, yea yelled here.

(17:34):
Oh no, we don't do anything. We gave away some
Purena stuff one point. We didn't make any money off
of it't We just were like the Sentien stuff, we'll
give away the listeners on his account. But mister dot
Stanley Bones has ninety one point six thousand followers. Yeah,
I don't know. I mean, what makes what makes an influencer?
You any influence of me? For crab? I gotta pay

(17:55):
for a crab all time with him. But I don't
know what canny influence I think if you have. I
mean there I see influences like fifteen thousand followers and
they're like, I'm an influencer, and I guess that's enough
to influence. But I would say he could be a
dog pet influencer, like dog treats products. Yeah that's good,
but but I need somebody to sell that. Ye, followers,

(18:17):
you have one sixty six thousand my goals for Stanley
to be morgans. Um what, Mike D? You don't you're
not Stanley's beating Mike D seventy des Mie D has
Let me look, oh, no, sixty two thousand followers. Mike

(18:39):
does some pretty good stuff. Let's look at the last posts.
One year ago. I made the best decision of my life,
and it's the picture of him proposing to his now wife.
The second one is him saying, I got a package
with you guys. I got today's page. He does movies,
so he's opening. I'm into it, and then okay, I'm here.

(19:04):
We need more people to follow. Mike d what's your
name on their Mike Mister Stanley Bones, Mike Distro, Mike
d Stro. Who are you the low man out of
everybody in this room? Yeah? On the show, I would
say so, nah, maybe Scuba, You're not on the air
that much though, I mean so, I mean, it's like

(19:24):
people hear you all the time. Let's see Scooba Followers
nineteen point eight Edit out, we're live. Edit that out.
Scooba Steve nineteen point eight thousand, Scooba Steve Radio. What
if you get out of radio? What do you mean
when I get out of radio? What I mean is

(19:45):
what if you get out of radio? Oh? Yeah, yeah,
I see what you're saying. Yeah. I thought about that
when I was doing television in LA, but I don't
really care. That's where I started from, It's those are
my roots. I think you can change it, though, because
Morgan number one, who works on my management team now,
she was Radio Girl Morgan for a long time. Yeah,
and then she was like, well that's I can't do
that anymore. Then she went to rad Girl Morgan. She

(20:07):
took io out on her name and now she's just
her name, Morgan Massingill. Oh, and she has eighty two
thousand followers. Wow, eighty two but from being on the show. Yeah,
Like people that leave the show and they go somewhere,
they're like, I got a big following from you know whatever.
Mostly it's because they got him on the show and
then left and still have them. But even Morgan's like,

(20:27):
I don't know how to do these followers of eighty
two thousan people follow me. I don't don't do anything.
Um yeah, yeah, because I'm Radio Amy. But what would
I change to if I wasn't. I don't like Amy
Brown is taken. Oh well I don't plan on getting out,
so Radio Amy should work. Um okay? Oh no, oh no,

(20:53):
oh no, no, no no no. That's from like an
old fifties or sixty song that isn't Yeah, I just
see her on TikTok I no oh no, yeah, okay,
I think that's gonna do it. I do want to
get to the Abbey thing tomorrow on the show. We
don't know how lu Lunchbox will be out a couple
of a few weeks, months could be, guys, we just can't.

(21:16):
We got three. You'll be back New Year's. I'm doing
a lot of work over here. I ain't getting near
as many nats. Okay, Well, see you guys tomorrow. You guys,
have a great day. Don't forget to listen to the
regular show. If you're listening to this, this is not
the regular show. We just keep going for a little bit.
But Doctor Oz was really great. I guess some people
have like a like an anti bowner for doctor Os
and they don't like him really yeah. I mean, I

(21:37):
don't know except for I was dealing with them on
the show and being the guy from TV. I don't
know much about him except that he's like a real
life surgeon. But I think he's great on the show. Amazing. Yeah,
he's awesome, right, Yes, why people like him? Morgan? People
were putting in articles like he's associated with um products
that don't actually work. He's said in claim things that
don't actually work. I guess let's not look at our

(21:58):
history of endorsements. You know, that's what they roll on
the comments. I didn't like investing. I'm kidding about that. Well,
back when we first started anything, it's pretty it doesn't
times been tough. Amy and I were talking the other
day about a project we're not gonna say it now
that we used to endorse early on like two thousand
and six. Yeah. So when I say that, I mean

(22:18):
way way back in the day. We just couldn't believe
anybody would spending you on any other show at all.
And there was one. There are two I can think
of it we shouldn't have done from a long time ago.
And I'm gonna tell you the first one that this one, right,
but I also did that. I don't know that I
should have so did I Like, no, we did it? Yeah,
Like we were never just go out and be like

(22:39):
do it and it's a lie, right, we were trenk two. Yeah,
and then later it's like yeah, and then later we
were like we should have done that. And then the
other one was um ooh, I don't care if they
see me there. I still have um joker issues with
personally because of that one. Really. Yeah, Like that's that.

(23:02):
So that being said, we won't do them now unless
we either use it personally, or we have somebody that
we know that uses it personally, or it's like a
jeep dealership in Tampa, you know, or Eddie in North
Carolina doing Fords. Yeah. Yeah, like I or if you
hear me talking about fifty four, I've used them like

(23:25):
three times in the last nine months. Like I keep
finding rooms where I'm like, oh, like they're amazing. Like
if we're talking about something, we are using them. And yeah,
it is crazy to think back that far of like, yeah,
I mean you learn things, people evolved, but I mean
we all can you go wrong with fifty four? Even
back in the day, we were like, we're not going
to endorse it unless we do it. We were doing something.

(23:45):
We were just like, ye, gotta do it. I'm gonna
have a breastpump on every day because I was a
doors and breastpumps. Oh my gosh, remember the time I
did bring in a breastpump and tried to milk Carlos. Yeah,
we tried to see, tried to pump them long enough.
We try I think, let me just say his biz
Boo was exhausted that the goal was pump up long
enough to get milk right and nothing ever came out. Really, yeah,

(24:08):
it was such a disappointment. We were like milk, milk, well, welk,
riveting content. We used to do the dumbest bit, not
that we are, you know, any better great bits now,
but we have. We had a tiny studio and all
this equipment set up. And you have to also understand
a terrible radio studio. I had a mic, there was
one second mic when Lunchbox first came on the show.

(24:28):
He didn't have a microphone. Like. They paid us nothing.
We had no resources. Our equipment was terrible. But I
would go, okay, well something break here, and I would
take a whiffleball bat and I would take a plastic
ball and I would just hit as hard as I
could into the board, into the computer, and I'd be like,
all right, well, I guess it didn't did anything ever break? Oh?

(24:49):
I think I broke some buttons off the board a
couple times, but still work. Well. There were a couple
times too where food would get spilled into the board. Oh,
I spilled a whole Starbucks um double shot those little
cans you by the gas station. I subi one on
my way to work every day. And it was so
early in the morning. The guy always thought I was
coming from the club and I was like, oh, well
my way to work, thank you. And I would get

(25:09):
double shot coffee and I spilled it all over your board.
It was like oh, and like once the whole station
went down, it was like like started to smoke, and
then we want to complete one time and we'll end
on this story. One time our tower went out, and
so it's not like if you're listen if you're listening
to us, now what you can You don't hear us
on the radio. You're watching on Facebook. You could be

(25:29):
listening out a podcast later, but you're not hearing this
over a traditional radio signal an TANet tower. Okay, our
tower went out, and we're in Austin. We're doing the show.
You're out, and like nobody can really hear you, and
so we're like ha ha ha. So we turned the
MIC's on and we start doing a show, thinking nobody

(25:50):
can hear us, like nobody can hear the tower I
went down, and we're like, this is my home address,
you know, this is all this stuff that you never
say public, like if someone could like steal your information.
Turns out only the Austin tower went down and we
were on like ten other stations, but they were hearing
the whole thing. Oh yeah, I remember which at all,
being like we hear everything. You're saying your phone number,
the whole thing. We were just being funny. We're like, oh,

(26:13):
I guess we're out. Here's my cell phone number. It
was really stupid. And then and then they were like,
hey guys, um, you have stations calling get people are
calling in. We didn't have a we have a phone
screen or we had another line that went out to
the hallway. The people would call and then they would
write on a post it note who it was and
run it into the studio and lay it on my desk.
I mean that wasn't Ray was in Turning m The

(26:35):
which stall thing maybe was a year and other cities
was a year before me. But yeah, I had heard
it on the radio, not being an intern, but I'm
talking about even then post it note. Oh yeah, Like
they would call that number and they would take the
post a note and they'd write it down and they'd
open the debt, come and open the door, lay it
down and run back down and write on the note.
I had zero radio experience whatsoever, and for some reason

(26:56):
Ice was in charge of editing clips for twenty four
hours Sound of the day, Remember sounds of the last
twenty four hours? Whatever, Yeah, sounds the last twenty four hours.
And it would be like a clip from the view
and it'd be like a two minute clip of the
you know them talking about something, and Bobby'd be like,
I need twenty seconds, and so I had to figure
out which twenty seconds and I'm like, well, I don't know,

(27:16):
and I would like it sounded. So I was like,
why am I in charge of editing these? Now? It's
stuff that like Ray could probably do in his sleep,
but it took me like thirty minutes to do that.
I had this ball here, Uh, guess the right number,
and I would give you one hundred dollars. Wow, nothing,

(27:38):
it can't be one hundred because yeah, we have to
work really hard to be one hundred dollars. If you
can name it. If you can guess the number, one
I roll the ball, you get twenty bucks. It's one
out of one hundred, right, twenty eight, Mike seventy one, Eddie,
I'm gonna go three, Oregon sixty eight, Ray thirty six,

(27:59):
my age Scooby, Steve thirty seven. Okay, the number is
did anyone guess a number that starts with three isn't
thirty in the thirties? Yes, you're right, are you? Both
of you? Thirty six and thirty seven? The number is
thirty three, but I did twenty eight. No, no no, no,

(28:20):
it has to land on it. It's like you have
to land on it for the money. Oh, you land
exactly on it. You know that you know the game
that goes with that dice? Right? I thought it was
his closest without going over You don't know the game. No.
The reason that dice exists is the game is if
it lands, If it lands on your number, you die.
If it lands on any other number with games dice game, yes,
it lands on any other number, you get a million dollars.

(28:41):
How many times are you willing to roll that dice
that exists? Why it exists? That is not but it's
never been to tell you so, So, Bobby, I want
to ask you how many times are you willing to
risk the role? How many times are you willing to
roll that dice for a million dollars? Well? Yeah, anytime
it doesn't roll on your number, it's a million dollars,
one hundred and one seven times, and my number is

(29:01):
gonna be three. Ready, roll at seven times, Gamy, get
the gun ready? Okay? Number one is thirty nine, one
million dollars. What's your number? Three? The second one is
ninety eight? No, eighty six? Okay, all right, two million dollars,

(29:21):
have five more to go in roll live exactly? Next
up fifty five okay, three million dollars. Four to go, Amy,
get the gun ready? Next up? Seven? You're puckered. Next up?
Was that four million dollars? Yeah? Next up seventy two? Good,

(29:49):
five million dollars. Next up eighty five, six million dollars.
Last one, last one, and then you're dead. No, then
I win out seven millions if it lands on threes?
Did okay? I would do that? Well? Yeah, but even
now do that it sounds all great, But if this
was real, you wouldn't do it. That one hundred and
one has nothing to do with the next correct. Yeah,

(30:10):
but he could land on three in Mike, can you
create a him in your mind that that's compartable something
on this show? Yeah, not like where you die. If
he thinks of it, that's what he comes up with.
But we could do it, and it's like you want
a dollar every time, but if not, we pelt you
with paintballs. Yeah, there you go. You don't like that,

(30:33):
amy whatever. I think that's pretty fun. I think it's
good radio good pick it up. Oh forty, Now you
don't want to land on forty, We're done. That's a
good game. That's a good game that WO should come
up with that, Like you have to stand up against
the wall no and get like, well, it's probably not

(30:55):
gonna hit your number one out of one hundred, but
it's like five bucks every time it lands on it.
But if if it's your number any other five times,
we have two paintball guns, by by by by by,
shoot you five times. I took it home for last
Christmas and I did it with all my family and
my father in law. He gets the number, Yeah, like
you would have died, father in law. Wait, if you

(31:18):
guess it, I want to. Oh, so you that's why
you were like, oh okay, all right that whole time
you didn't know what's going on. I thought I thought
we didn't want to. I thought yeah. I was like,
oh my gosh, if it lands on three, was that
your number? I was like, I'm enough to shoot him. No,
but that is that is how you play it. I

(31:41):
meant if it doesn't, Goodbye everybody, Bye,
