Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bobby Balls, so everybody knows this is the second part
of the podcast, the whole first part of the podcast.
We're trying something new. That is the radio show from today.
That's the whole radio show. So it used to be
split in two. I wanted to get apart on early.
We can't get it on as early anymore because we
gotta wait for the whole radio show to finish. But
that's part one. Part two is just a podcast. Some

(00:23):
stuff will be funnier, some stuff maybe not. It's a
little looser, but this will just be a podcast. So
we're gonna try this out. So far I like it,
but just so you know what's happening. Part one, full
radio show, Part two. Here we are doing this. I
have a couple of things before we talk about the
show from last night. Lunchbox sent this story like four

(00:45):
days ago. I have not found a place to put it.
So I'm just gonna lead with it and get it
over with. It's about this only fans do you want
to do? The only fans part? Do you know it
that she's going.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Oh man, yea, no, no, no, no no, This lady is
looking out for the elders. You know what I mean? Like,
the most forgotten people in our society are the elderly. Right,
we don't pay dumb potential to them. We stick them
in nursing homes and we don't go visit. That's what happens,
is the elderly. Yeah, and this Only Fans model has
decided that she is going to go around to nursing

(01:17):
homes to find older men to be in her videos
with her like XT videos. No, what's wrong with that?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So how old is she? Thirty six? I'll read you
the story, Tiffany, Awesome. Tiffany is thirty six. Her name's
Wisconsin Tiffany. She joined OnlyFans and she goes to nursing
homes to find elderly men to like do dirty stuff with.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Who wants to see that?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
There's a lot of people wants to see everything. We
don't want to see no, no, no no, but some part
of everybody wants to see everything.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I mean some people like to be Pete on Eddie.
I mean, you say, who wants to do that? There's
obviously that's the one he goes to.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Immediately. There's a group. There's like people like to watch
humans and animals. There's toe people, there's you know, long hair.
It's everything. There's a part of everybody that likes to
see everything.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Just imagine the morale boost that these older men are
going to get.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I get that that boost ain't the morale, but.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
It's going to put them in a better mood. And
then the other guys gonna be like, hey, can you
introduce me to her? And their you know, will to
live is going to increase. Hoping that they stopped.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
This is life expectancy, like it helps life.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yes, I think she is doing an amazing thing for
the elder for.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
The hopes that she stops.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
By the second thing I wanted to mention might have
been wrong about something. It's not the first time. I
think it's I was looking through the history of the shows.
It could be the fourth and Mike, would you mind
turning your microphone on. I don't know that I'm wrong yet,
but I put a secret in an envelope. You're the

(02:57):
only one that knows the secret in the envelope. Thoughts
you think you're wrong on it? What do you think?
Do you still think that there's a chance that the
secret in the envelope that I put in and had
a prediction? Do you still think there's a chance that

(03:18):
the accuracy is within that envelope. I think there's still
a chance.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Okay, when did you see that.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Envelope January first, right, or like, wasn't it like we
came back? Oh yeah, we dated and then I did
a like a special mark on it, so it couldn't
be duplicated, so I couldn't.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Are you questioning if it may not be?

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I was going to question it about two weeks ago,
but I didn't want to question it two weeks ago
because then you guys would have known why. So I
question it now because there will be no connection to
why the timing of be questioning it January sixth. Okay,
so our first showback, I put a secret in this envelope,
a secret that I think is true secret. It's like
a prediction, a secret prediction. And still think there's a shot.

(03:58):
I think there's a shot. Okay, we'll put it. Well,
let's keep going with it.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Then, So when will it open.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Either at the end of the year, our final show,
or if it happens, or if it happens, or if
I'm dead wrong.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Or if I'm dead, so something could happen where it
just tells you I'm dead wrong.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
I think I could be wrong but have also been right. Yeah,
I could see that, but yes, this is so weird.
I'm not gonna say thing indication. Yeah, I don't want
to give any indication. And I just want our listeners
to know we're still Sometimes we don't follow up on bits.

(04:35):
Amy's got to shoot. We got the Olympics. I did
to build the chairs, all this stuff. We have eleven bits.
We have a complete yeah, And so I want people
to know we're still hanging with this one. And it's
not that we're not hanging with the others. Sometimes we
just forget and the only time we remember is when
we're talking about the bits that we forget, and then
we list all the ones we forgot, and then we
turned the mics off and we forget them again till

(04:56):
the next time we talk about the bits we forget.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Or callers coming back, like three years later.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
We like that. We like going college. Remind us. Okay,
so we'll put the envelope back in the back and
we will we'll stick to it. Good deal. I have
another thing. Oh, I have two things. You're wrong again, No, no,
no new. We have some listeners though that are coming
up in a second that bought the Saint Jude charity

(05:19):
auction that Morgan and I were talking about that day,
and I think once they fixed it where they said
they for sure I had tickets and it was bought.
They flew in from California just to go to the
show last night and they're flying out today. You know,
it was so quick. I was like, you guys, just
come to the studio because we've not had any listeners
up here because it's hard to get up here. It's
way more secure, not because we made it secure, but
it's just difficult parking garage, multiple levels of security. But

(05:41):
I was like, you paid all that money and you're
going to one show and flying back home with twenty hours.
We'll get you up here. So we're gonna talk to
them in a few minutes. The thing one that's pretty
quick is on Saturday night, I'm hosting a thing and
movie theaters across the country. It's live. It's Music Night
Live in Nashville. Three of the biggest songwriters in Nashville.
They are playing some of their biggest hits that you
know and telling the stories behind. It's at over six

(06:03):
hundred movie theaters. I'm hosting it. Go to music Night
dot Com. It could be a fun Saturday night movie
thing where you won't get annoyed if people are like
looking at their phone. Yes, why I don't go to
theater people looking at the phone? You sing along at
this one? Screw wicked.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
M M.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
This is such a lunch poss question. And you're gonna
make fun of me.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
I'm not go You said that was live live.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
How do they do that.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
It's the same way you do live television, but in a
movie theater. Huh No, they just have projectors. Yes, but
you've been when I had the project projector of my
other house. We could watch games on that. Oh that's
true TV technology.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Yeah, okay, see I knew you guys are gonna make.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
Fun of it.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
We did not make fun of you.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
He Mike just made me.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
What you make.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
It's not like they only have film reels.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
That's why I picture at movie theaters.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
But yeah, I guess they can do live not silent films,
and with color.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
With an orchestra on the front.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
So eight March eighth, Saturday at eight eastern, seventh Central,
six Mountain five Pacific, we'd love for you to come
Music Night dot com. It's what happens in Nashville all
the time. Big songwriter round and they tell stories and
I host and hopefully it goes well, yeah, I'm looking
at you in my movie app right now, like book?
Come on, Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yes, but I got a question. Yeah, why did you
preface that with a lunchbox question? If you have a question,
asked a question question.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
He thought it was going to be received as a
stupid question, and he thinks you asked stupid questions.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
And so he wants to preface it saying, oh, you know,
like stupid, you asked stupid questions all the time.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I don't not like you, like like you not understanding.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I think that was stupid question.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I got a little giggle once, my giggle man. Honestly, okay,
here's the other thing before we get into it. This
is my favorite. This is my favorite. Maybe Johnny, I
know she's she's yowning. No, you're tired, No, get that
pillot of office for.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I'm honestly not tired at all. I feel great, I
feel great.

Speaker 8 (07:54):
I'm not tired at all.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I don't know what that was. I think, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
You think what?

Speaker 9 (07:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (08:00):
COVID again, this is weird right now?

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Okay, what how do I talk about this?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
This is always good?

Speaker 1 (08:15):
This is so good. No, this is so good. It's
one of my favorite things to talk about. I'm not
sure if it's going to be a fun conversation or
bad or even something you guys are interested in. I
love what we're about to talk about, so so aliens,
I got approached. I was approached and this company says,

(08:39):
would you do well to say ABC? And I was like,
that sounds interesting. I have too many obligations during this
period because it's going to take a few days to do.
I cannot do it. And they said okay, I said,
but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done, and they said,

(09:02):
tell us more. So I told them more. Now they
have not committed to this. And I'm going to give
you the whole story in a second, but I'm telling
you how I'm It came to me and I don't
know if I would have done it, but it's interesting.
But I can't do it because of I'd have to
be gone for a few days, and at this time,
I can't be gone for a few days. It's a tourism,

(09:28):
it's a trip, but it was. It was the showy
hold on.

Speaker 8 (09:41):
We don't know who it is yet, Guys, who's a traveler?

Speaker 4 (09:47):
What depends where it is?

Speaker 1 (09:48):
So I mean does it depend where it is? I
mean it's not like they're going to go tourism. Uh cutter,
I'll go to there.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
They have the World Cup there. It has to be nice.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Okay, there you go, So I'll sell it for me. Interested.
Tried to find a way to see if I could
block it out. Couldn't do it, couldn't miss the show
to do it. But it is a tourism where they
spend money to get people to come places and they
do a good you know, you have fun and stuff.

Speaker 10 (10:19):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
And so it's Mexico.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Okay. First of all, who would be interested in doing
like a tourism thing where you go for a few
days to anywhere. At one point we were going to
go to uh like northat Yeah. Yeah, that was one
of the things that we're going to do. But so
what if you had to go by yourself? Though I'm
in the.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Thing, I'm good, I'm.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Going, you'd still go and do all the stuff and
shoot the socials and okay, well I didn't know, I
know that was the case, so that all on board.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Do you want to change what you decided?

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Then my bags are passed, already presented something right.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Passport, I have a passport already.

Speaker 9 (11:04):
Hitch it.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
You have a passport? I do. When did you get
a passport when I went on my honeymoon?

Speaker 8 (11:08):
You went to Greece.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
It's been renewed, it years been married.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I'll be nine in this May.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Okay, So he's crep. Yeah, he's like, your stupid. Well, no,
you're in just a few months away.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Hey, Eddie doesn't have one, so he's out.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
You can expedite those things, right, so they yeah, yeah,
but this, this would be something that would need expediteing
because the campaign for this is May through December of
this year. I don't know that they want to, but
I don't know they want to do it with anyone
but me. But the suggestion is somebody else because I
can't do it. What's up?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
That's always rough?

Speaker 3 (11:43):
What's rough?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
When they want Bobby, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I'll be second fiddle.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
No, sometimes they don't, That's.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
What I'm saying. But I don't have problem. If they
want to move on to me, that's.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Cooling the point sometimes and I'm saying this in a
way that hopefully is not not humble. Sometimes that don't
have me, they don't want anybody, correct, right, But what
I'm saying that usually if they can't have me, they
were like, well, well then we'll only take Amy or nobody.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
How many times have I've probably been in this position
more times than y'all.

Speaker 8 (12:11):
I get it, But what's that story at.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
More than you?

Speaker 8 (12:19):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (12:21):
That's true because it's not if I can't do it.

Speaker 11 (12:28):
That's not.

Speaker 8 (12:31):
Off of what said, because it is fact.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
It's fact that if it is if they come to me.

Speaker 8 (12:37):
And fun, it could be something totally work related.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Could you're a would you? And if I'm like, I
could or I would, but I can't, and they Amy
is the person they go to most of the time,
if they go to anybody, and then after that they're like,
we don't want anybody else, No offense, but take take offense.
So you go to hot spots, hiking the hike, breath

(13:01):
taking parks. Wow, I got a good breath nature along
the coast.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
You guys don't like the coast.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I like the water. That's me.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Who's the most beach person?

Speaker 10 (13:14):
Me?

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Who's second me? Me? You're not really a sailor, surf sailor. Okay,
how about that.

Speaker 8 (13:25):
Sat Jerry McGuire all either skiers.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Maybe even catch a football match. However, however, because you
know there and when I say hold on, when I
say coast, it's along the Mediterranean coast, the Google Man Mediterranean,

(13:48):
And so what they wanted, what they wanted me to
do was to go and do the outdoor stuff, go hiking,
you know, the parks Mediterranean, go to they say football match,
but soccer game, and treat it like I was a
quote journalist, as I was like a big not really,

(14:09):
but like you're reporting it like a journalist. Amy, what's up?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Okay, keep talking. I don't know if I've been trying
to manifest something and I don't know it's about to
come true.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
Because stop it, no, listen stop.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
I was supposed to go study in Spain in college,
but then nine to eleven happened and my trip got canceled.
But guess who's there now studying college My niece. My
niece is in Spain right now for her college credit.

Speaker 8 (14:33):
And I was like, oh, I wish.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
I could go visit her and we could hang out
and then I could finally live out my college moment
that I was supposed to be there, but.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
I got a better one. My last name's Garcia, right,
that is my motherland. It is Spain.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
It's not Spain, guys.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
Oh well you said the Mediterranean.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
That's a pretty big body of water that ain't like that.
Ain't like washed on mountain Pine.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Okay, Okay, Well I mean my niece.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
So your manifestation is over.

Speaker 8 (14:58):
It is France because I always wanted to go there.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
I'm supposed to study a broaden friends.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Okay, So I would like to say this when they
were like, suggest a person, I feel and I hate
to say this, Amy that if there's somebody that I
really can't afford being gone for a few days because
of our value to me and the show, it's Amy's
That's okay.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
You're talking about value.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
So the sad part is I did not suggest you first,
because I can't be gone for four or five days,
and if you're gone for or five days, that hurts
the show. These guys plug and play over here.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
No, no, let's go, don't.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
I don't mind hurting the show.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
I'll be gone for what you're saying. Someone who doesn't
do a lot can go to.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
This, I'll go.

Speaker 8 (15:46):
Is it Algeria?

Speaker 1 (15:48):
I'm not sure I can pointed that on a map. So, man,
this is great because I knew a lot. I do
the video the two people, you'd be fine.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
All the time, no problem kind and is like you
missed like six months of the show with COVID, All right,
we were fine, travels a lot, Okay, no one knows
you were gone. So they were like, suggest somebody, and
I did suggest lunchbox.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Yes, yes, let's go past wart And is he going
to Italy?

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Am I going?

Speaker 8 (16:24):
Is he going to Sicily?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Am I going to see guys?

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Is he going to I'm going to figure out what
soccer team are going to see?

Speaker 4 (16:30):
What about Albany's.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
So the whole thing is that they haven't said yes
to Yeah, we still have to but later it's send
Lunchbox to Turkey.

Speaker 8 (16:42):
That was really cool though.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah I'm in Yeah, I love Turkey.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
No no, no, Thanksgiving, not Thanksgiving.

Speaker 8 (16:51):
I mean I'm looking at images right now.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
It's beautiful by Syria and Iraq.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Yeah, I'm in beautiful.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
You have to fly through Iraq.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's like apparently apparently it's very safe tour to go
to I'm sure.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
And he has to go alone to Istanbul.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Oh my goodness, that's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
He has to go alone, and like document, it doesn't
have to get a hair transplant if there or anything.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
I don't need that, Eddie, I'm.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Not you, okay, So when will you hear back?

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Well?

Speaker 8 (17:19):
This is cool?

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I don't know, man. This is because again they wanted
me to go. I can't be gone. Usually it goes
to Amy. I would prefer her not to be gone
four or five days and then we can do it.
I've never been Turkey. I don't know what's going on
over there, but I need him to report back tell
me if it's all good. And so I thought if
we get some lunch box to Turkey, I mean but
to be we can have an answer in a few days.

Speaker 8 (17:42):
He will be missed here.

Speaker 9 (17:44):
You missed here?

Speaker 4 (17:45):
How because he's funny?

Speaker 3 (17:48):
No, no, no, I'm talking about like missing him.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Yeah, I'm not gonna miss.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
The vibe is different when one person. When one person's missing,
it's off yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
And he'll also sometimes it's better and left walk is gone.
It's better offense guys, but really fence taken.

Speaker 8 (18:06):
He'll also get content.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yes, so we're gonna we're gonna see this.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Is not probably going to give me a new phone.

Speaker 12 (18:15):
Uh yeah, his content, Oh gosh, yeah, his video on
his phone is not working.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
So I do not know. There is no This is
not me leading up and building up to we already
have it done. I'll go home and tell my wife
you'd beat No, don't do that, and don't tell your
kids are going because that's not that.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
But you don't know where Turkey is.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
We want to send you to the Middle East.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
I'm gonna go talk to my wife.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Is he going to do live reports? First of all,
we don't know if they're going to accept him. A
lot of times they're like, show us a picture of
the person. That often doesn't go, well, yeah, mind give
you a updated one. I got a haircut, so no,
like way, it doesn't matter. We're rooting for you.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
They say yes, and they see a picture like, nah,
we're good, we're rooting for you.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
I'm rooting for you. I signed you up for that.
I cannot Hey, Scuba, will key turn your mic on?

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, what's up?

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Obviously they didn't ask for lunchbox, but we can position
him as.

Speaker 13 (19:10):
I think they're gonna get. I think their biggest thing
is they're gonna want a lot of content out of this.
They're gonna get a ton of content and social and
it's gonna be a lot of fun. So I think
I think we have a good chance of getting Lunchbox
to go out there.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
It is not and he's saying this as not any
sort of who's.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
The president of Turkey? See if I can get a meeting?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
I think that's our dressing Turkey.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Oh yeah, he was vice president.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Alexandra stuffing stove top. The president has recept at our
gone yep, So he's the twelfth president. Let us see
if we twelfth. Yeah, it's twenty fourteen. I guess they
just stay president's forever over there. Is that even called
a president or maybe they just started doing presidents?

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, maybe it's a new thing. I'll find it all out.
I'll report back from the Turkey.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Good deal, good deal.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
See research.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
We are trying to send Lunchbox to Turkey.

Speaker 12 (20:04):
Man.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
It's kind of cool, honestly. Yep, like lunch Box live
in Turkey.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Pretty cool. I wanted to find out where Turkey is
on a map, I don't know, right next to Iraq
and Syria.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Yeah, man, right in the middle of that.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Okay, I right, get with Iraq, connects with Syria, connects
with Iran.

Speaker 13 (20:24):
Okay, I think I think it's a stop in Ukraine
to get there first.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Great, great, great, go see Zelenski. Okay, so there's that.
Good on that everybody. I'm ready travel. I hope they
take it. This is not a trickle. I swear on
everything that is not a trickle. We do not already
know what's happening. They may say no, they were just like,
if you can't go.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Man, Turkey's really big. I don't realize how big Turkey is.
It's a big country.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yeah, study it.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Okay, cool.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Then let's oh, there's Bulgaria right by there.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Raymundo, yep, do we need Let's do a mideral. We'll
come back with our our friends from the show. We
gotta go. Oh yeah, say for another day? Say you
even for another day? Okay, y good. This Let's go
talk to Jessica, who is from Texas. But Jessica, are

(21:19):
you in Nashville right now?

Speaker 7 (21:21):
Yes, we are here in Nashville. Good morning, studio morning.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Okay. I'm gonna be honest. You sound like I feel.
Is that because you went to the show last night, yes, I.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
And then yeah, go ahead out afterwards?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Fair fair enough. Well, we had a lot of people
there like friends and stuff, and Mike Dee was like,
it was going to be a long night because I
didn't even send notes for this morning show till almost
one o'clock, so I was up working at one am.
So probably like Jessica, although I didn't drink, Jessica, did
you drink last night?

Speaker 7 (21:55):
I didn't drink after I left your show. I'm not
really a big drinker, so I had a couple of
drinks at the show, and then afterwards I just went
and viewed all the places because there's so many to see.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
That feels like, you know, I didn't rob a bank afternoon,
right like I did one in the morning, but you
know I didn't, So your thoughts, Jessica.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
Amazing, like the best concert that I've probably ever been to,
because to me, it was a concert because all of
them sang amazing and it was just so much fun.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
I think one of the benefits of that show as well,
is so it's Eddie and mii's full band and they're
really good, and there doesn't there isn't any time that's
needed to change over for a band. So we play
something and Bailey Zemerman comes out, Bailey does this thing,
he walks off, like immediately Russell Dickerson walks on. So

(22:57):
the fact that we have a band and we can
just go bam bam, I think that keeps it pretty exciting.
And then everybody does a couple of two or three
songs and then you know, through out the door. So
I like the pace of it. I think that makes
it fun. Yes, it was.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
It was really awesome. We almost didn't get to make it.
We had bought the tickets when they went on sale,
and then our kids, we have three children, and they
play sports, and so their sports got pushed by like
another week, so they actually have like their tournaments and

(23:32):
stuff to this week today. And we were like, the
tickets didn't sell when we reposted them, so we were like, well,
we're not going to miss out. So we drove twelve
hours yesterday to come in for the show, just me
and my husband. My brother was able to come in
to our house and be able to watch our kids

(23:54):
for us and take them to their sports and things
like that.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
So MVP brother, MVP yeah us.

Speaker 7 (24:00):
Shout out to David David.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Well, thank you for coming, Jessica. I know that's a
long trip, so I hope it was worth it. It
sounds like it was worth it. We you know, we
try as we try as hard as we can, So
thank you.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
Yes, it was amazing. I loved every minute of it.
I could not be more thankful to my husband for
buying the tickets and for everything. So it was great.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
I hope you guys have a safe trip home. Made
the drive. We're in Texas.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
We actually live like right at like Fort Hood, which
is now Fort Cavasso.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah, yeah, we've done it. We've done that drive. Yeah,
we have to keep going a little bit because we
all were in Austin forever in the front. We've done that.

Speaker 10 (24:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yeah, you gotta go all the way Memphis, to go
all through Arkansas. I got to go through Dallas. There's constructions.
Have a safe trip, Jessica. Thank you and your brother
the really MVP.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Yes, yes, he is all right, Jessica.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Have a good day.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
All right, thank you, Bye bye.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Let's do a couple out here. Heidi, who is Texas?
Are you Texas? Right now? We're in Nashville right now, I'm.

Speaker 10 (25:08):
In I'm in Nashville right now. But I live in Texas.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah. Where do you live in? Texas?

Speaker 10 (25:14):
East Texas? Kind of between Dallas and Tyler. Do you
know where Tyler is in?

Speaker 7 (25:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (25:19):
Texas, Sureyler.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
I know how to get over to Beaumont get your casinos.
That so, Heidi, what are what are your thoughts?

Speaker 10 (25:28):
Last night was so great. I got chilled when Iris
got the standing ovation. That was really neat, and it's
so neat that you recognized her. And Natalie the fiddle player,
Oh my gosh, the energy he has. She was wonderful.
The whole thing was so great.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Yeah. I was so great, really happy for Iris. It
was her first show to play to that many people.
She's thirteen years old, just turned thirteen years old, and
she got a standing ovation after the first song, where
I think she was like does that mean I'm done
or no, you have an old song, but because the
people just kept clapping and then she was like, okay,
I'll do another, it was Yeah. I was super happy

(26:06):
for Iris because again she's thirteen. The thing is that's
like I want to a casino and hitting for like
six ran on a slot machine your first time that
you go, because then you're like, is this how it
is every or the time Lunchbox saw a bar fight
his first time at the bar. They're busting cues over
their heads and he's like, this is every bar fight. Yeah,
it was a really special night. So we appreciate you

(26:26):
coming up from Texas. Are you driving back or flying back?

Speaker 11 (26:30):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (26:30):
No, flying, flying, flying flying.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
And Natalie by the way, for the record, Natalie's been
part of the band forever and she's amazing, but she
is part of Runaway June, so she was with us
and then she was like, I'm gonna do a band
and it's Runaway June and they have songs too, So yeah,
Natalie is so legit. Even whenever she sings with other artists,
it's great solo singer, but like she would sing with
like Clenn Black or whomever, like when she does like

(26:54):
background vocals, she's so good.

Speaker 7 (26:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (26:58):
Yeah, and been able to go to different places here
in Nashville and just walking in on a Tuesday afternoon.
What time was at one o'clock? Yeah, and the band
there was awesome and it was just two o'clock in
the afternoon, you know, it was like a Saturday night
or something. The music is so good around here.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
It's wonderful.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
It's it's the landa giants. You have to be good
just for somebody to pay you eight bucks an hour
with tips to play the bar because everybody moves here,
and when people move here, they're good. It's the land
of giants. So I'm super happy you got to walk
around and be exposed to that. I thought Clint Black
was so fun, right, yes.

Speaker 10 (27:37):
Yes, yes, yes, yes. And I don't know how you're
able to talk today. I don't know how you have
a voice.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Well, I'm glad you asked I in situations like this,
because I did have to sing all day and all
night and talk and to interviews. I drink a lot
of water and I make sure that I don't scream
when needed. That way, allergies don't get me well because
they get to well, they don't get me. They get
lunchbox a lot. Like he goes to Vegas, it gets
allergies because supposedly.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
Sneaky little thing.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
No allergies, you can't control them.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
That I hear you. They're in the air worse than anybody.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I don't know, man, I'm just telling you. It happens
sometimes in Vegas. Vegas is a bad spot for hours.
If you look it up, they're one of the top
allergy spots in America.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
So is here here's one of the worst. Yeah, I know,
but that's what a lot of water and just monitoring myself.
But Heidi, thank you. Have a safe trip back. I'm
glad you came. I hope it was worth it and
hopefully if we do it again, you'll come to it
to another show if you can.

Speaker 10 (28:30):
Yeah, I'd like to you how much money did you
all raise?

Speaker 1 (28:33):
They'll tell us today as far as tickets goes, But
it's always in like the hundreds of thousands of dollars
for because we it's all ticket sales. We donate all
the ticket sales for that event, and it's it's usually
in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. But we won't
know until maybe a Wednesday, maybe like Thursday or Friday,
once all the accounting is done. Yeah, it never comes

(28:53):
to me because I don't want it to be like
part of my taxes or anything. Yeah, I'm be honest
with you. St Jude is there, Whoopsie spent that they
do the show? Saint Jude does it all? I pay
like the band like I pay money for the band
and a lot of stuff. But that's fine. That's like
a personal donation. You could say, uh, but no, I
don't touch the money, but we will know. But it's

(29:15):
always in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 10 (29:17):
Yeah. Yeah. They also congratulations getting back with Oh Town.
I know the joke for that was funny.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
There's no joke. There's no joke. There's no joke at all.
You know, am I joke? Talking is everything? I'm a
joke now, am I clown? I'll make you laugh Hong Kong, Heidi,
thank you so much. And when do you go back
today or tomorrow?

Speaker 10 (29:35):
Good night? Yeah, we're about to go to the Grand
o Opry and tour it.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
That's a great tour because you'll do backstage. It's a
it's a great tour.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
So Carrie Underwood suicize eight if our.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Shoes are still up? Yes, okay, Heidi, thank you and
hopefully well and we'll see you soon.

Speaker 10 (29:56):
Okay. I'm so proud of you.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Thank you, Thank you very much, by Heidi. Let's do
one more call. This is Monica. It says Monica from Michigan.
But Monica, are you in Michigan right now?

Speaker 14 (30:07):
I'm not I'm in Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Okay, you're here with us in Nashville. Yes, okay.

Speaker 14 (30:12):
If I'm driving back to Michigan, you can drive. I
can drive.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
No, No, I know you can't drive. You're going to drive?
How far is that drive?

Speaker 14 (30:24):
It's seven and a half hours. So we drove down
last night and then or yesterday, and then we drove
back today.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
That's not terrible.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Maybe it's not Upper Peninsula.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
That's like it. That's like your butt.

Speaker 7 (30:34):
Not it's like.

Speaker 14 (30:35):
Mid Michigan, mine of your middle of your hands. If
you do the.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Middle of your home, got it the middle of the
mitten that it's called. I'm basically local. They're no't worry
when yeah drive in to Arkansas. It's like six and
a half and that's when it starts starts to get annoying.
But you can do that in a day. If it
was like eleven, that'd be tough. What do you want
to say, Monica?

Speaker 14 (30:58):
So we were at the show last night and I
just kind of wanted to call Eddie out on something.
It seemed like he was pointing to the crowd and
like waving randomly but like not really at anybody, And
I was just kind of wondering if that was like
a nerve thing or if he was actually like waving
at people, because it just seemed like it was kind
of random.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
No, some people. Some people wave and they may not
be waving at me, but I think they are. And
I pointed him like hey, wave and then they don't
wait back, and I'm like, oooh my bad they weren't
waving at me.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Or you can just do sometimes what I do, where
I just act like I see people. I feel like
we don't really see a lot of people it's dark
because it's dark. Yeah, it'll be like I'll be like
what up and do like a point. I don't have
a point that, but hopefully like four people in that
area feel like I'm pointing to them.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
And what's tough too, is like on stage, all the
lights are on us, but you can see like the
first two rows. Other than that, we don't see anyone,
And I feel like the people on the balcony don't
get any love because you're like, what am I looking at?
I just see black space? So sometimes like.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
A point, I'm like yeah, and I'm like I don't
even know if if they'll see director or full uh. Yeah, Monica,
thank you very much. Anything else you want to say
about the show, It was great.

Speaker 14 (32:06):
The only thing that I was a little bit disappointed
in was that there was no kids sizes for merch
for my kid. But other than that, it was great.
I can see why he can no fun.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Fact, I didn't know there was merch. I had no
idea that there was merch. Exactly. I walked back to
my dressing room after and there was a hoodie that
said million Dollar Show my name on it, and I
was like, oh, somebody made this. They said no, there
was merch. And I said, did you make any kids?
And they said no, And I said, I'm so disappointed.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
If you if you had to consult, they consulted, you
would have said make kids.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
I demanded they make kids that night, but it didn't
get done. To two a m.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
That's the first thing he says, make it for.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Kid, Yes, a little backpack.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, okay, we're gonna do that. We gotta do that.
We gotta do a recall, we gotta do recall of
hurt and shame. I didn't even know there was merch, Monica,
So I feel you. Until I walked in the room
last night, who knew I'm sorry they didn't have any
kids merch though.

Speaker 14 (32:58):
That's okay. Everything else was amazing and we had a
great time. So thank you for putting that on.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
Yeah, thank you for coming, and hopefully, hopefully we'll do
another one and you can come again maybe, because you know,
seven and a half hours not so bad.

Speaker 10 (33:10):
It wasn't that bad.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
It's kind of bad, but not terrible. Yeah, all right, Monica,
have a great day.

Speaker 8 (33:18):
Bobby's a Bobby Bones Show.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
We have some guests about to pop in the studio
and I need to ask them exactly how they got here.
Could have been in a car, train, airplane, covered wagon boat.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
They want to charity auction, and so they came to
the show last night. They're from Bakersfield. It's coming to me.

Speaker 11 (33:39):
Now.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
I met a million people last night, but this one
I got it. They came and they were in and
out in like twenty hours. And I've flown to Bakersfield
and back. It's a brutal flight because you got to
go to Denver, you gotta go to Chicago way, then
you gotta go to Bakersfield. And I love Bakersfield, but
it's a long way to be flying over there, and

(34:01):
so because they won this auction and yeah, I scooba. Yes,
excuse man, dang I last night because this wasn't part
of the deal. Like when come hang out on the show.
I was like, if you guys paid this money and
you came to the show and you flew all the
way here from Bakersfield and you're going right back home,
come up to the studio and meet everybody and hang out.

(34:22):
We've I don't know that we've ever just had listeners
up here since the new studio, have we. It's so
hard to get up here, is why I don't think so.
The parking garage is terrible, not terrible, it's it's really hard.
Security is really hard, got to beep into stuff. So
this is the first time. Come in, guys, come on in,
just come on, have a seat. So, hello, we're on.
So you guys have uh, this is the leader up front.

(34:48):
You have your own microphone. Alison check check check check check.
Alison's a leader. Okay, So Emily, I'm hello, I remember
her names, Allison? Emily? Is there another Aaron? Are you?
Are you? Why?

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (35:05):
Why?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
And then Amy boom? Okay, So can you guys hear
your ears? Yes, yeah, you're turning on if it's not on, Yeah,
maybe nothing. Maybe scoopa get much of props and doesn't work. Yeah, Allison,
we're gonna use use our test here. Can you hear
me in your ears?

Speaker 15 (35:23):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (35:23):
They can.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
I can hear your microphone, Emily, can you y?

Speaker 9 (35:25):
I can hear you?

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Okay, e R y N. Can you hear me?

Speaker 10 (35:28):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Amy? Yes, boom. Okay, let's see if my story is accurate.
Three of you are from Bakersfield. Still you live there, Alison,
you're the leaders, you're like the lead singer of the band.
So you talked first, and then we'll go around. Okay,
So how did you get here? What happened?

Speaker 6 (35:43):
Well, the covered wagons were booked, we had to get
our flight and we did go through Denver and it
was treacherous.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
But we made it. It had been easier on the
cover wagon, even with like wolves and snakes. Whatever the
disease was from Oregon Trail. So you did you leave
yesterday morning?

Speaker 9 (36:04):
We woke up at three.

Speaker 6 (36:05):
Thirty am, got on the five five am flight. Yeah, yeah,
got here at one.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Thirty Exhausted, obviously.

Speaker 15 (36:13):
We were pumped up, we were energized.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
And what did you do when you landed at one thirty.
Could you even check into your hotel yet?

Speaker 12 (36:19):
No?

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Oh that's the last.

Speaker 15 (36:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
We came straight to Dysenteria or whatever.

Speaker 6 (36:25):
Yeah, we came to Broadway. We walked around, We went
and ate at Jack's Barbecue, and visited some of the bars.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
And did you drink? Did you drink early?

Speaker 15 (36:36):
No, we don't drink.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
The Hey, their teachers, so they get there, they don't drink.
They never even heard of cars word. It's not even
say it. They'dn't even heard one. So us and then
you got into your hotel, what like three or something.

Speaker 15 (36:48):
Yep, we checked in our hotel.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Got already take a nap? No, nobody took a nap.

Speaker 15 (36:53):
Wow, we don't have time for that to get ready.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
I took an out mid show last night because that much.
So you won the auction that we were talking about
here on the show.

Speaker 6 (37:04):
I heard you talking about it, and I was like,
I have to go check that out because we had
already had our we already had our plans to come,
and so we were super excited.

Speaker 15 (37:12):
I went and looked and I bid and I kept upping.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
My max bid and then at the last minute, when
I was actually on a field trip with my son,
and I was texting my friends.

Speaker 9 (37:21):
I was like, I think we might win it.

Speaker 6 (37:24):
And so I got a bunch of seventh graders running
around me and I'm trying to watch my phone and
we won, and I was super excited.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Where were you on the field trip?

Speaker 15 (37:30):
We were visiting UCLA.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Oh just a school, Yeah for that.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
That's where I was going to go to school.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
No, it wasn't. Yeah, get accepted, but you weren't ever
going to school there though, No, But I applied, but
told me to go anywhere he wanted, so he did.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
He was going to go there. I was going to
go to Harvard.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
No, no, but you can't say that's where I was
going to go to sea.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
It's where I wanted to go to school.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
So you guys got to the rhyme and a what
time last night? Because I saw them. Here's the weird thing.
There were people. It's a closed sound check, meaning all
the artists are like dressed in sweats, and Eddie and
I are like sometimes we'll like write or practice a songs.
But there were four people that were like so supportive,

(38:10):
randomly in seats and they were like waving, like waving
along with songs, and I was like, I think they
broke in here, but I like them because no one's
really in the in the building then, And so they
were sitting there and who did you see do soundcheck?

Speaker 15 (38:24):
Just you guys?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Oh so you got there just for that part.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
Oh so that was you guys. Oh wow, I do
remember that?

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Were you Like?

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Who the heck is that?

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (38:31):
But they look harmless, so it was like whatever.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Nice. So then you guys came up to my dressing
room and we all met there and this wasn't part
of the package, but I was like, I cannot believe
you guys flew here and flew or flying back on
one day at least come up and meet everybody on
the show. And that's why you're here.

Speaker 6 (38:49):
This is like bucket list for us, Like I can't
believe we're here.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
We are just so excited and well, this is Amy.

Speaker 8 (38:56):
Hi, Hi Amy.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Whenever you said he said something to you, I was
immediately responded. When you were asking Amy the teacher, her
ears are working, I was like, yes, mine are working,
of course, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
This the guy in the hoodie is launch Park.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
What what how are you guys doing? And you guys
don't drink at all? No, not none of you.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Are you guys Mormon?

Speaker 2 (39:16):
How do you have all four?

Speaker 1 (39:17):
Are you? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (39:18):
There we go?

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Do you do caffeine?

Speaker 8 (39:21):
Hold on?

Speaker 9 (39:22):
We do, yes, guys, it's allow. No, well we're good
to go.

Speaker 6 (39:28):
No gues.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Because drink. How did you know they were Mormon?

Speaker 1 (39:34):
I have more my friends. So just you're not.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Mormon, you don't drink. So how do you automatically go
to Mormon?

Speaker 4 (39:40):
You went to Mormon?

Speaker 11 (39:41):
No, I.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Would say I have three or four friends that are
So you guys are gonna be the show. I have
three four friends that are Mormon that I have a
couple of friends that are Mormon but not really Mormon.
Does that make sense? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (39:55):
So where do you all fall if.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
They're not drinking, they're they're Mormon?

Speaker 11 (39:59):
Yeah, they have we we go to doctor Pepper and
doctor Pepper zero go hard.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
So wait, I got a question. If you're a Mormon?

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Oh boy, are your sister?

Speaker 9 (40:08):
Wise definitely knows we are sister.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
I know you guys related that I could tell you
you look exactly light.

Speaker 11 (40:15):
Yeah you do.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
I mean I just I watched that blonde hair and
then having friends that are Mormon. I was just as
soon as I like, we don't drink, but it was
like not like, yeah, we don't want to drink. I
was like, oh, possibly Mormon. And they're from left over
there West Coast.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Yeah, so that's well, they're not from YouTube. That's why
I'm confused. I didn't know in Bakersfield. I didn't know
it was a huge Mormon population.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
I don't know what there is population.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Mormon. So did you know each other growing up or
did you meet each other at like we know each
other growing up?

Speaker 16 (40:48):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah I met her at a park
and party and I was like a party.

Speaker 15 (40:57):
No, we've been friends for a long time.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
It's a spree party.

Speaker 8 (41:01):
But then y'all all teach at the same place or no.

Speaker 11 (41:04):
I teach. I'm a high school choir teacher.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
But you you're from I'm the one I live. You're Atlanta.
So I'm sorry I interrupt you. Would you say you're what?

Speaker 11 (41:13):
I'm a high school choir teacher in Bakersfield.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
You can help me?

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Oh you want to help?

Speaker 11 (41:18):
No, I've got a great trick for you for lunchbox.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
To shut them up? Yeah, to take your mouth shut? Yes?

Speaker 2 (41:25):
Well, what to learn how to sing?

Speaker 11 (41:27):
Squeeze your butt cheeks. It will help.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
No, no, not prison, No, we're talking about singing.

Speaker 11 (41:35):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
How long have you been teaching choir?

Speaker 11 (41:37):
Twelve years?

Speaker 1 (41:38):
Have you your high school?

Speaker 12 (41:39):
Right?

Speaker 1 (41:40):
Have you always taught high school choir?

Speaker 15 (41:41):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (41:42):
All right? Where did what level? Did you stop singing?

Speaker 11 (41:47):
I actually just performed in December singing part of the Messiah?

Speaker 1 (41:50):
So you still sing? Do you sing in high school?

Speaker 5 (41:54):
And like?

Speaker 11 (41:55):
Yeah? Always? Like in church, in high school, elementary?

Speaker 1 (41:58):
What about college? You singing like choir?

Speaker 11 (41:59):
And to the University of Utah, sorry to go there.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
Wow. And then I've been there a bunch, not as
Mormon as by you been there too.

Speaker 5 (42:09):
And then I actually just finished my masters three weeks
ago from Colorado State.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
You know, that's cool. Graduation Utah is cool because it's
like in the middle of the city and it's like
down in a hole. It's my brother in law coach there,
DJ Gaso, he was so we were there all the time.
And I really don't like to wear other school stuff,
but I was you and it up as you and
it's red. It's yeah, that's a big part of it.
If it's like green, I probably just faked it and

(42:34):
been not my thing. But both Utah is awesome. Like
we went to b YU. The mountains there the beautiful.
It's freaking amazing, Like even just from the football stadium,
like if you go to a game, it's one of
the coolest sights that you can see just going to
a game. Uh yeah, go utes. I like the utes us.

Speaker 9 (42:56):
The Iowa State Last.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Night basketball over time early game, No.

Speaker 6 (43:03):
We kind of after the show, we were in Shake
Shacks across from the Rieman watching the end.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
Of the YU. Get So you know what I did
last night. I've it's the one time of the year.
It's the worst timing. Arkansas was in town playing Vanderbilt
and as a late so just now that it's over.
Derek Spentley was gonna play with the show last night
with us. He's a close friend of mine, but his
daughter was singing the national anthem and the game usually
starts at seven. They moved that game to nine o'clock
and he's like, and I'm like, why would they play

(43:28):
a nine o'clock Central game, Like it's so late, and
so he's like, I can't kill Obviously I got to
be with my daughter, and I was like overrated and
then daughters and then but I got home, did the
same thing, got to watch the last quarter and a
half of Arkansas beat Vanderbilt. So you guys went to
y one. Oh good.

Speaker 15 (43:45):
We were wondering if you would be happier or not
today depending on that.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
That's what we do. Oh yeah, that's that's that's every
day for it for them. Yes, So you guys went
to watch the game. Yeah, and you guys did win.
You guys have the You guys are paying that kid like, yeah,
because the jazz owner has so much money. So you
guys are real fans. Yeah, that's cool. Good for you guys. Okay,
so you live in Atlanta. Why'd you move to Atlanta?

Speaker 9 (44:10):
My husband got a new job.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
You don't say what the job is it. Does he
happen to play for the Braves? That'd be cool, be cool.

Speaker 9 (44:16):
We're Dodger fans. But if he actually got a job
with the new Children's hospital in Atlanta, so.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
I'd rather been a Brave is he I'm kadding, I'm kidding,
I'm getting.

Speaker 9 (44:26):
I' kidding administration side.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
That's cool. Do you like Atlanta?

Speaker 9 (44:29):
We actually love it. We do love Atlanta. Where like
do you live No, we are in Northwest northeast Atlanta
in a town called Peachtree Corners and.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
You've been there for how long about six months? Now? Oh,
so there's no chance it can fill home yet it's
not home yet?

Speaker 2 (44:45):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (44:45):
Do you want to move back west?

Speaker 9 (44:49):
Not necessarily. We're really we're loving Atlanta, We're loving Georgia,
We're loving the South and trying to convince my friends
to join.

Speaker 15 (44:55):
Me, all because we we're all friends.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Well, and she's my I suspected that. Yeah, yeah I did.

Speaker 6 (45:02):
So we were like girls strip and so part of
the fun is we got to meet up with her, yes,
because we haven't seen each.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
Did you drive up?

Speaker 11 (45:07):
I did?

Speaker 9 (45:08):
I drove up, picked them.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Up from my So you're not like you weren't exhausted.
You were like, suck it up, ladies, let's go.

Speaker 9 (45:15):
Well thea it's waking up at four am, and I
was like, this is normal for me.

Speaker 1 (45:18):
So, Aaron, what's what's your what's your what's your bio?

Speaker 16 (45:22):
I was a high school math teacher and now I'm
at home with my four kids. They're three, five, seven,
and nine, so I'm pretty busy.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
There's a rhythm to that.

Speaker 16 (45:29):
Yes, it's very convenient. But now I'm a math tutor.
My husband actually does product development for Dryers ice cream,
so we get a lot of free ice cream.

Speaker 9 (45:39):
All the time.

Speaker 1 (45:39):
You do, you get so much free ice cream. Because
I love dryers, well, I can't eat dairy now. It's
a new thing for me. It's so hard to avoid
all dairy, Like for everybody that's had to deal with
this the whole life, like shout out to you much love.
It's very difficult for me because there's dairy like I'll
drink like way protein for example, in like shakes if
I'm going to work out, or and my wife's like

(46:03):
Stima carrots, I'm baby ways from She's like, you know
ways dairy right, And I'm like, how would I know that?
I'm not even used to being allergic to dairy?

Speaker 8 (46:11):
Where did you think the way came from?

Speaker 1 (46:12):
I didn't know what it was. I thought I meant like,
if you ate it, you weighed more. You know, I
didn't know what it was. So my point is, I
love dryers, but I can't eat ice cream anymore. But
anytime I've worked at a restaurant or worked somewhere where
I get a lot of stuff, I tend to go
I'm good here. There's just so much of it. Do
you guys have so much that you're like, you know,
we're really not eating a lot of ice cream these days?

Speaker 9 (46:32):
Oh yeah, no, no, no.

Speaker 16 (46:33):
When we moved to Bakersfield, that's what took us there,
we bought a deep freezer for the garage for all
the ice cream he brings home.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
Just like product development, does he create new flavors?

Speaker 16 (46:43):
Yes, like Oreo products that you see on the shelf.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
That was like his product, Oreo ice creating.

Speaker 16 (46:48):
Fine, So like marketing comes and says like, hey, we
want you to create this, and he like comes up
with the flavors and like all the science behind it
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
What times you guys just fly out today? Two okay?
I told them two thirty. When you guys came up,
they can change it.

Speaker 9 (47:01):
Just kidding.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
They were like, they're in the green room. I said, no,
I talked to them last night. They don't have to
leave till the afternoons. So hopefully we didn't keep you
guys waiting too long. How hard was it to wake
up this morning?

Speaker 11 (47:11):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (47:11):
Was it fine?

Speaker 15 (47:12):
It was fine.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
I mean they don't drink and I don't either. They're
still hard for me to wake up. I hate waking up.
I never had a drink. I'm warm. No, I'm joining
the team today. Kids, I'm like three fourths of the
way there, if I'm being honest. So, okay, let's talk
about the show last night. So did you have fun?
Was it the first one you guys have been to. Yes, Allison,

(47:35):
I don't know where you were sitting because I don't
even know there were tickets with the auction. That was
a big confusion. That was like are their tickets or not?
But you already had tickets? Yes, what did you do it?
Do you sell the other ones?

Speaker 15 (47:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (47:46):
We we We just gave someone a really good deal
because we wanted to make sure they didn't go empty.
So we sold them and then we are new seats.
We were like right in the middle. Well really yeah?

Speaker 2 (48:00):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (48:00):
So the best places in the riemen. It's definitely not
in the front. I felt it's those people in the chairs.
They but I've sat in those accidentally. Before. First of all,
your next like this ahole time. It's like front row
of a movie theater and you're like, oh cool, I
can like touch their shoe. That's it. Because the speakers,
it takes like four or five rows for the speakers
to really go down into the audience, like feel the sound.

(48:22):
If that's where you guys were, that's the best. The
upper part of the ryeman in the middle, like the
front upper, like five or six rows is the best too.
I used to put like all my family there, but
then they'd be like, while were we sitting up top?
And I'm like, beggars can't be choosers. But that was
a good spot. But that's cool that you guys were there,
so every you guys heard everything. So everything close enough

(48:42):
to see stuff, but not not too close that you
get spin on. Yeah, that's always the goal. Yeah, I've
been spin on before.

Speaker 11 (48:48):
We have some highlights.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
I would like to hear them out. You're already predicted.
Amy take it away.

Speaker 11 (48:56):
MVP for last night goes to a mod best.

Speaker 9 (48:59):
He's amazing. He might have stole the show.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
Seventh eighth year MVP in a row. Yeah, yeah, he's that.
He is mister energy, and like I said last night,
he doesn't he's not he is a performer because he did,
but he's not a performer. He's a trainer and he
would he's he's like he's our friend. He's like, yeah,
our friend for twenty plus years. I met him he
was working at twenty four our Fitness when I was
like twenty two, and I was like, I wouldn't learn

(49:23):
how to bench press and he was like the guy
with muscles and so he's like all right, and we've
been friends, super close friends for twenty years. And we
would Eddie and I would go and do raging idiot
shows ten years ago, and he would just show up
in like Richmond, Virginia. We're not telling us he was coming.
He'd be like, what's that dog, I'm here.

Speaker 14 (49:41):
We're like what.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
So I was like, Hey, since you're here, why don't
you just do something. He's like, I don't really sing
or dance. I was like, just get back and then
and then it turned into this where he just gets
back there just dances NonStop the whole time. He's awesome.

Speaker 9 (49:53):
So he always have them ach energy uh on stage
on stage.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (49:57):
Yeah, he was making up dance move to the lyrics.
He was like time marches.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Yeah. He is a plus MVP. Every time another category.

Speaker 9 (50:10):
Clint Black brought it wasn't he He was so good.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
My favorite Clint Black moment from last night and I
made a quick reference to it. But he's in the
middle of playing maybe it's killing time. No, what do
he played for a man? Yeah, because we're leaving here,
better man. He's like, hey, off the mic. He goes,
you want to sing? Second verse, he goes, you know it.
I do know it. But I go I'm not singing it.

(50:35):
They'll kill me, and he goes, you sure. I was
like not, and he goes and he went back up,
but he like asked me. I was like, they don't.
They don't want me to sing your songs because you're
freaking Clint Black. But he's so funny, Like wasn't he
just like nice and amazing.

Speaker 15 (50:49):
His voice sounded great, awesome.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Like real highlight. That was a highlight for me too. Okay,
I like that. Go ahead.

Speaker 6 (50:56):
When Odetown came out and dance mooth, I was not
affecting the full boy band experience, but they brought it
in their sparkly outfits. We were hoping you would have
a black, sparkly outfit and join in.

Speaker 8 (51:09):
In the dance moves.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Okay, so there was a consideration. I'm glad you brought
this up.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
Yeah, why didn't you?

Speaker 8 (51:14):
You didn't?

Speaker 11 (51:15):
Yeah, you have the mirror ball.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
That's an accurate statement. So when they arrived to rehearsal
on Sunday night, Daddy Sunday night. Yeah, so they got
to rehearsal at the very end and they were super
cool because you guys know the joke, right, yes, yes, okay,
they were super cool and exactly And so I never

(51:38):
met them, and a little bit of me is like,
these guys are gonna hate me because for ten years
I've been like I was a member of both town,
and I know that that's gotten to them, and not
in a bad or good way. I just didn't know.
And so they came in super nice and they were
like So they asked me, like, what do you want
to do? And I said, I don't have the time
to learn the choreography, I said, because there was a

(52:01):
decent amount because I watched I went through their instagram
to see like what they do, and I was like,
I don't want to mess anything up because it's like
with Clint Black, like I don't want to sing the song.
I said, I could learn a little bit, but if
I can't learn at all, I don't want to disrupt,
like you guys's moment. And they're here going, this is
super fun. It's for charity. But there they don't know

(52:21):
what the show's going to be, like it's the rhymem
and it's a lot of country artists, it's and so
I'm like, you do your thing and then we'll do
all or nothing. Right, that was the thing, And so
they did ask me if I wanted to learn the choreography.
I just didn't have the capacity with everything else going
on to learn it, nor could I dance like that ever,

(52:42):
and so I didn't. But they were kind enough to go,
do you want to learn the choreography? But it was
so much? Wasn't itch? It was so much at Another
one of my concerns was how's the crowd going to
react to them? As in, they're going to come out
it's unlike anything else, you know, the term boy band.
There were some real country traditionalist fans there and cowboy hats,

(53:06):
and then there are normal like people like us that
just like all kinds of music. And I'm like, how
people erupted for them. People started standing up and recording
on their phone and so that made my heart feel
good because I didn't want them to not get the
reception that I thought they deserved. Because they all flew
here from different places, didn't take they didn't let us

(53:27):
pay him like nothing. They were just did it out
of the kindness of their heart and made me. It
really didn't my heart feel good because people were so
warm and welcoming to them, and it was also so good,
like they were awesome. And the night of rehearsal they
were like, okay, you sing, and I told them this.
I told them the Ashley Parker thing yesterday. Oh oh,

(53:47):
I did. So there's a member of Otown because I
used to like Otown a lot, and they had a
member of the group, Ashley Parker Angel who's blonde, and
he did a solo thing and I thought he died
and so and so the night they were like, you
sing Ashley's park in part of the song, and in
my head, I'm like, man, if I do that and
he's dead, people are going to like hold that against me.

(54:10):
And I said, I don't want to like disrespect and
they're like, you're not, it'll be good, And so I
sang and I can't sing, and I was really bad.
Night at rehearsal, I was like, they were so warm,
they coached me a bit through They were like also,
it doesn't matter, just have fun. So whatever we go
to I'm telling the show and tucking Eddie. I'm like,
Ashley park Rangel died and I got to do his

(54:30):
part of the song and They're like, I don't think
he's dead, and I'm like, oh, I look at Nope,
not dead, just not in the group. So I went
back to them and I said, guys, when you told
me to sing the Ashley part, like I felt weird
because I don't want to sing the dead guy's part.
They thought that was the funniest freaking thing. And they're like,
not dead, just not in the band anymore. So they

(54:52):
were good. We played the audio of the my part
last night for like sixty five percent of it. I
felt pretty good about it. Then it got so loud
and I just wasn't I couldn't even hear me. Not
that it would have mattered, but that was super fun
for me. For that joke to pay off after ten
years like that, that's me holding on to a bit

(55:13):
way too long, but then so long it came back.
They were a plus excellent. One of them Clox baseball
cards like I do, Eric, and we were like, let's
talk about cards. So yeah, so o town amazing, and
they stayed the whole show. They stayed and they were like, dude,
we had no idea what this was. This was so fun,
so yes, that.

Speaker 9 (55:29):
Was what they were ready to come back on with
your glasses.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
They got called guys, guys, I'm telling you, I thought
I was going crazy.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
You guys think he was going crazy.

Speaker 8 (55:38):
I felt really bad me too.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
I thought I thought I had schizophrenia on the stage
because what happened was I hear piano I can play
from my phone and I go to the band. Can
you guys hear that on a mike? You guys heard it?
And they're all like, no, I thought they were screwing
with me. I thought the guys were going to come
back out like I thought the track was playing, and.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
So I thought it was coming from your ears. Maybe
then I mixes on our little ear things or whatever.
And then he took him out and he said, I
still hear it.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
I'm like, do you guys not hear that? We have
monitors on the bottom. Put my head on the monitor
and I'm going, how do you guys not hear this?
So we go to the next song. I'm playing music
while hearing that in my ear and it's really messing
me up. And then I do, and then I'm like,
you guys have to be messed with. Ask Brandon, who's
a close friend but plays a guitar, and Brandi goes, yeah,

(56:29):
I hear it, and I'm like, Okay, thank god, somebody
hears it. Brandon was lying, just get me to shut up.
So I'm gonna I'm gonna play you guys. I have
those meta glasses. These are not them, but I recorded
a lot of show from the meta glasses last night,
so everything is from my perspective. But also in the
meta glasses, it plays music that you can hear, so
in my ears the whole time, this is what's in

(56:55):
my ear, and I'm like, how does nobody else hear this?
And then they're all committed to it, and I'm like,
they're either doing the worst joke ever or I'm going
and then I start singing it. Nobody else can hear
the music. Whenever I figured it out, I felt so stupid.
But that's what that. That's what that was. I'm an idiot.

(57:16):
We were worried for you, man, I was worried for me,
So that was fun. Give me another give me. Another highlight.

Speaker 11 (57:22):
Natalie singing for Forever Yeah and stopping.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
She's in Runaway June, which is the group, but she's
been touring with me and with us forever. She's so
good and she's legitimately an A plus fiederal player and
an A plus singer at the same time. Like we're
just we're such close friends. I think if we weren't,
she wouldn't play with this weekend. I was like, just
Daddie and I yea. Yeah, she crushed right all night,

(57:49):
even like singing with artists, like giving them like a background.
Harmonies were so good, music teacher good. I can say that. Yeah,
she would do like harmonies or doubles or whatever they Yeah,
it was awesome. Now I thought IRIS might.

Speaker 9 (58:02):
Oh she was incredible, so good.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
Thirteen she just turned thirteen. I was like, that's my friend.
I was like, that's creepy. I'm her friend's dad, I'm
her dad's friend. That's but she was awesome.

Speaker 5 (58:13):
Yeah, her writing, like some of the lyrics, and then
you could see in her eyes how she connected.

Speaker 11 (58:17):
It was awesome.

Speaker 9 (58:18):
She's great and I also loved at the end she
got the first standing ovation last night, and I didn't
realize that was her dad that was playing the guitar,
and he I could see he kind of got teary.
And I just can't imagine as a parent seeing your
daughter get the standing ovation for her first show in
the rhyme in the herst song too, and she deserved it.
It was amazing, yes, and not.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
Because she was thirteen. I think at first, pea like
a thirteen year old. Oh, if she's good, we're going
to give her a little extra. About halfway through, it
wasn't even about her being thirteen anymore. She was then
appear with every other artist and there was just like
so much character to her voice, and also she can
sing really well and she's powerful. Fure Yeah, I know
it's good. Her dad just just texts me. He says,

(58:58):
I'm close to the Ross. Ross's famous songwriter and producer here.
He's like, this is him. He's super emotional too, but
he's like, just want to say thank you from the
bottom of our hearts forgiving Iris' chance to play at
the Ryman. It was absolutely unforgettable. Words can't capture it.
And then there's pictures of us and it was great.
He was, Yeah, he was moved to what Clint Black

(59:18):
was Bailey Zimmerman was like a rocket, Like a rocket he.

Speaker 9 (59:25):
Brought into that theater and his outfit.

Speaker 11 (59:27):
I mean, between the two, I was all about it.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
Yeah, and I would be like, where's Bailey and we
just don't see him. Here's why I love Bailey, And
I alluded to this a little bit on stage. But
Bailey grew up like I did, didn't have a lot
and so Bailey made money a lot younger than I did.
But I talked to Bailey and I'm like, dude, you're

(59:51):
you're you're young and dumb. Because if you're just young,
you're dumb. Even if you're not dumb, you're young and dumb.
It's like you're gonna make mistakes. Don't get anybody pregnant.
That's literally, yeah, like you're gonna do stuff. You're you
have all this access to everything. Don't get abody pregnant.
And then we have the standing role. I don't care
where you are if you're in jail, and you won't

(01:00:13):
be to note you call me, I will make short
And so he's such a good person, like he's got
the kindest heart and he goes hard. Yes we could tell,
but he is that I love him like I love him,
and he impressed me as a like performer. Yes, I
did not expect that rocket ride when he came out

(01:00:34):
for two songs, because usually had a build up and
Bailey was like, just gone and both he did, but
two songs that were awesome and his voice, yes, so good.
And what's crazy about Bailey? And I've I've jumped into
the mix a little bit. And I don't do controversy
if it doesn't have to do with me. For the
most part, I don't mind saying stuff that irritates people
if I feel it. I don't mind getting controversy a

(01:00:55):
little bit, but I don't hop into artists controversy a lot.
But Bailey would get and he would get bad social
media of videos of him performing and not performing well,
and I would go on and go, hey, guys, here's
a guy. He never sang until TikTok blew him up
big time, like he was working on oil pipeline did

(01:01:16):
a video. I was like, holy crap, I'm not doing
oil anymore. Still never saying comes to town and he's like,
I don't know what an agent or a manager was.
But people were like wanting to have meetings with me.
They're like dming him. And so most artists will start
playing a little bit of home, learning how to sing
two nights in a row, learning how to sing if

(01:01:37):
you're sick, learning if you run on a stage, it's
hard to sing. Learning if you drink before, well, maybe
that's not going to be good. So he had to
go through that entire process playing massive stages, so there
would be performances that weren't good, but it was him
like learning what he would have learned if he was
playing for twelve people. But he didn't get a chance
to learn that. And so people be like, Bailey sucks

(01:01:59):
and I'd be like, no, Uk and he was awesome.
It was so cool to see him be that awesome
last night in every way. Yes, so Bailey was okay.
Here's who impressed me, and it's the person that I
had two really close friends there last night. But I
didn't know George burg was that good. And now I
didn't know George Burge was that good. He's in my

(01:02:20):
house every week, like we played pickleball all the time.
He's he's opened for me multiple shows where he comes
and plays acoustic and he's good. You have to be
good to make it, dude. He was awesome. It is
so good. I was like, who are you?

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
What AI is inside of this? So I think confidence
of him having two number one songs. Yes, the band
sounded good, but I was so impressed. But I'm also
behind him and I'm listening in ears George to you, guys,
what do you think?

Speaker 5 (01:02:46):
His voice was amazing, amazing, like way better than life obviously.

Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
And like had like attitude and swag and like I
pound him and picked whites a little pud and I
didn't that wasn't the guy it was. I was so
happy for him there at the very beginning. So our
tradition we do this, Eddie and I come out, and
we don't do a lot of raging idiot songs because
mostly it's about the artist and we know that, so

(01:03:12):
there's only no ego for us. But we like to
come out, just do a couple of songs, eight minutes whatever.
So Eddie and I come out. I sing the wrong
verse on Hobby Lobby twice. Forget the song. We've done
that ten thousand times. No, I don't know, we just
forget it. Yeah, I don't know why it happened. So
that's like a two minute song, and we do like
another two minute song. And then another one of my
very close friends is Matt Stell, who I didn't know

(01:03:33):
was super sick. Couldn't tell, right, No, could not tell.
So he came out and we did the song that
we wrote to call it Your Mama's House, which was funny.
We like that when it's a new one. And then
I was like, Matt, play another song. I would not
have forced him to do that if he was if
I didn't know he was sick. But I went back
and watched it. He didn't sound sick at all. Right, No,
I would have guessed. He sounded great.

Speaker 9 (01:03:55):
I just saw you guys in Atlanta. Great both times.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Oh you were there too.

Speaker 9 (01:03:58):
I was there, Oh cool, front row, front row.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
I was oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember that. So
Matt was awesome and I hate to like miss people,
but I'm still a little sleep drunk. Did stuff for
like two and a half hours last night. I got
home and then like, I don't know if I said
this to you guys At like twelve thirty one am,
I'm like working on the show, sending Mike notes for
today's show, and Mike was like, I knew it was

(01:04:23):
going to be a long morning. When I saw one
Am come in on you working on the show Moran,
I thought the final Miranda song was a really due
that freaking kick drunk.

Speaker 15 (01:04:35):
It was awesome, And she's such a performer.

Speaker 6 (01:04:37):
It's like you can tell she's been doing this for
so long and she just looks so good on stage
and just like that's where she's been very natural, so natural.

Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
And it's hard for artists at times to look natural
if they're just holding a microphone when they often play
guitar as well. But she was just like with a
microphone like dgaf like didn't did like true professional awesome. Yeah, yeah,
because sometimes people are awkward when they no, I don't
know what to do. Uh No, she just walked in
and owned it. So yeah, that was super cool.

Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
I don't want to miss anybody.

Speaker 11 (01:05:07):
Tracy Lawrence he was when he came out. That was
so fun.

Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
And he's so good. I'm on his podcast today on
his tour bus. I forgot so today on Tracy. I
think it's called Tracy's Roadhouse.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
You're going on recording it today, right, No, we.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Did it like two weeks ago. I went to his
house and did it, which is super cool for me
because I love Tracy Lawrence as a kid. Like the
cool thing for me is like these people that I
thought were really cool, most of them are really cool
and like they get to they do that stuff with us,
like show up like Clem Black, are you kidding? And
leaving here?

Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
Better man?

Speaker 4 (01:05:40):
So good?

Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
Yeah, that was it was really awesome. I let me
look my picture. Yeah, that guy is on a trajectory
now and he's been at it for a while. I
told him last night. I said, hey, man, you've been
doing good. And I I won't say something if I
don't mean it. Maybe I say nothing, but I'm not
gonna lie. So sometimes it'd be like, hey, good to
see thanks for playing. I wouldn't be like, dude, you're

(01:06:02):
killing it unless they're really killing it. But I was like, dude,
like your trajectory now was like on a new level
for someone who has done well for a long time.
Usually people cap out it doing well because they've been
around for a while, so it's almost like they're doing well.
They'll keep doing well, but they really don't hit that
next level. Like he's about to hit the next level.

Speaker 16 (01:06:22):
When he opened with one of his new songs, and
I feel like even if a lot of people didn't
know it, like, it's still brought the house down.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
And it was great tempo too. Right, Yes, his shirt
was weird.

Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
Did you all see his arm.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Cut shirt? It is a weirdly cut shirt.

Speaker 9 (01:06:37):
I appreciated it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
The front Road. Yeah, I was like, well, maybe I'm
just jealous. I can't wear a shirt that's fit like that.
But yeah, a really fun show. I don't know if
I'm forgetting anybody. Costello's, well, I didn't know which it was,
and I'm stupid because I constantly preached everybody it's the
Castlos and I'm telling everybody it's Castles, And as soon

(01:07:04):
as they walk out, I'm like, here's the Costello's.

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
Crap.

Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
I said it out loud, and then I went the
Castlos and she was funny. She goes, no, you said
it wrong, and I was like, I'm the biggest advocate
of saying it right.

Speaker 8 (01:07:14):
You always say it right.

Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
I know do, and you correct us all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
But I'd been telling people, hey, it's the Castleos. It
looks like Costello's. But as soon as they walked out,
I was like, here's the Castello. My God, Yes, a
fun night. I wish today was Friday, though I know
that's what we were thinking.

Speaker 5 (01:07:31):
You guys still have you know, a full work week
after such a long weekend. Two, I'm sure you were
busy this weekend getting ready.

Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (01:07:38):
I think the toughest is just doing the show and
then coming to work the next day.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Oh man, my heart ist days tomorrow because I can
kind of adrenaline through this day and then I have
like a podcast at one today with like Dylan School.
We'll keep working throughout the day, but tomorrow. That's the
beat where I'm like, oh, like, what is happening here?
But another good show. I thought that might be our
last one last night going into it.

Speaker 15 (01:08:02):
Oh, I'm glad when we were here.

Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
That's what the band came to me and was just like, hey,
Bobby said, that's our last show.

Speaker 5 (01:08:08):
Is that right?

Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
That's not what I said exactly. No, No, I this
is what burdens my soul and not as bad because
it's all for charity. If it were if I was
doing like a personal show, I have personal friends that
I would ask, like when I was doing my comedy
tour or I did like ten shows here and then

(01:08:29):
I tore it. I have friends that I'm like, hey,
come out, like Gary Lavaux from Rascal Flats because he
called me to do something to Ronnie done Brooks and
Done Whomever, Brett Eldridge or any of my real friends.
If it's a paid ticket show, still I'll be like, come.
But I feel guilty asking people to do stuff. But
because this is Saint Jude and we don't keep any

(01:08:50):
of the money, the guilt a little less. But I
still I don't like bothering people and making people feel
like they need to say yes. And so every year
I'm like, oh, hate asking people to do stuff. And
that's just me being in control freak and also not
wanting anybody else to feel like they have to help

(01:09:10):
me because I don't do well with help. And so
I was like, I think that we've done it ten
eight shows, but over ten years COVID got us. I
told my wife going into US, I think this might
be the last one. And so she was a side
stage and we're going to the last act. She goes,
so I haven't said it's the last one. I'm like,
I don't know if it is now, and she goes,
of course you don't, yeah, of course, so yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:09:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 16 (01:09:33):
I feel like something like childhood cancer, you feel really helpless,
and so the opportunity to like know you're donating to
a good cause is it's nice.

Speaker 1 (01:09:42):
Yes, with the artists that show up, that is why
they do it. In this town, there's a lot of
a lot of charitable things that happen where artists are
always playing stuff. And I don't know, I just I
just have a problem asking people for help period. So
it's not even about the charity or the show. It's
a vulnerability thing with me where if I'm like, if
I'm asking for help, that means I need it, That

(01:10:04):
means I'm vulnerable and weak. So it's way therapy rooted
and related.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
But I think people knowing like where your heart is,
they want to help. Sometimes it's hard to ask for help,
but when you actually let people give you help, they're
not You're not calling them to DoorDash your food or anything.
But the opportunity to give is always is also a
gift coming from someone who you know, Like I've been

(01:10:29):
on the receiving end of a lot of help that
I didn't need or I didn't know I needed. And
there's a lot of learning, But I'm really I think
those people would have helped no.

Speaker 11 (01:10:40):
Matter what, and like giving them that gift is really yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
I gave them a gift. Feel about it.

Speaker 15 (01:10:46):
I don't deny them the gift.

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
I gave them a gift. Now they owe me one.
Exactly where's my thank you card for the gift that
I have given them?

Speaker 5 (01:10:56):
Well, I think your whole audience would say thank you.
I mean we're here, like you know, thank you for
that show?

Speaker 9 (01:11:02):
And where else can you see? Otown? And Clint Black?

Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Yeah, when Russell said that that was funny, I like that,
like that was a good point because I get so
in the weeds of it that I don't see it
as a full thing. I'm just sort of I'm trying
to schedule what's the artist order. Don't want to be
offended where they are, So we don't put people as
like openers, and we keep the big are the person
we ask first. We build the show around. We put
at the very end, which was Miranda, but everybody else

(01:11:27):
we don't put, like there's an opener that we wanted to.
So I'm juggling, like on all people their feelings hard.
I gotta have talk with all of them like, you're
not an opener, you're not a second act, like everybody
is is in different places, just you know, to keep
the show going. And when Russell was like, this is
the only place you would see Clint Black and Otown
on the same stage, I was like, yeah, that makes
me feel pretty good, because yeah, that's kind of goofy,

(01:11:48):
but that's kind of fine that Clint Black and Otown
would play in the same stage, almost like the dance
party is beautiful.

Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
In person.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Well that's cool. So what are you gonna do? Oh,
you have to check your bags already.

Speaker 16 (01:12:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
Oh, you're there'll be they'll be on the street when
you get back from the hotel. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we
just left our hotel. And because what time you got
to check out? Eleven normally okay, so they'll you'll have enough.

Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
You could call and say kind of like checkout and
they always, like Bobby Bones said, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
Fine, thirty yeah, eight thirty. You should have been out.
Then what are you gonna do? Are you going to
launch or something?

Speaker 15 (01:12:24):
Get breakfast?

Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
There's a whole the Whole Foods right down here. I
don't know. You have Whole Foods.

Speaker 4 (01:12:28):
Everywhere, but not bakers we're getting one that's shocking to
me because California I feel like it.

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
But beggers Field is different.

Speaker 11 (01:12:35):
We have the Trader shows, it's unique.

Speaker 1 (01:12:37):
Bakersfield, We've got Walmart is not southern California.

Speaker 14 (01:12:41):
There.

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
I like the people in Bakersfield and then and you're
not the same. But baker sild Fresno. I can go
through all that. It's normal people. Anything about l A
not normal people. I don't do well there. I don't
like the people there, actually any of them. I'll say
that I don't like. No, that's not true, but it's
it's a completly different dynamic. There's almost like a line
in California where people get normal again. And so there's

(01:13:05):
a place in Bakersfield. It was like a they made sushi,
but it was like a barbecue place.

Speaker 11 (01:13:11):
Barbara the one on.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
Whatever it was, I was like, kind of like an
art district, right, I don't know, but I was like,
I'm gonna pass on that one. It was no offense.
I just said I was just not gonna eat sushi
at a barbecue place in Bakersfield. But I'm sure it
was great. Yeah, I'm sure it was great. Well, this
Isshi Barbecue place. This has been super fun. I hope
you guys feel like you get your money's worth and
more and more. Anything that you want to ask us,

(01:13:35):
there's no pressure here, but you can ask away. We
have a few more minutes. Anything you want to ask us.
If you do, Amy, I saw you take a big breath.
Do you have something? If you don't, that's what you're
looking at them like, should I ask it?

Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Not yet?

Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
Okay, this is so exciting.

Speaker 5 (01:13:50):
No, this is just like a super bucket list. So
thank you so much for having us. It's great to
be in the room with you.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
Amy.

Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
You're a choir teacher. What you think of Bobby's performance
is a solo part.

Speaker 11 (01:14:02):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:14:02):
I don't think you should be so hard on yourself.
But I've read your books, I've listened to you for
a while. You hang out with me every Saturday. Not
to be a creeper, but you guys are on my
speakers all the time, but you're not like you sounded great.
And the harmonies, especially with the three of you in
your preaching idiots, those were so tight.

Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
And I fall brag on Eddie and I'm okay, I
don't take compliments well so let me just say that,
thank you, thank you. I know my limitations. I can
kind of sing enough to do comedy that it's not
distracting from the comedy, right, So I don't go I'm
a bad singer, but I can get up with the
guitar and play a song and no one goes this
guy sucks so bad at singing, don't I'm not listening

(01:14:43):
to the jokes, right, I can sing good enough for that.
I am not a good singer. But Eddie is so
good musically. He can sing harmonies to me being off
and that's why it sounds so tight. I'm not kidding.

Speaker 3 (01:14:57):
That's just years of us played together. You know. You
just like kind of find the pitch and go down
to what he's doing.

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
And then but when Matt gets in the mix, Matt
will go, Eddie will find Matt, and then I'll just
pray and like, Okay, I just want to fit and
I'm not singing a harmony. I'm doubling because if I
if I start trying to find a harmony, I ain't
gonna hit it. I'm it's not gonna be right. But
I appreciate you saying that, because yeah, I'm confident when
it's just us playing acoustic guitars and singing that that's

(01:15:23):
always the most fun part for me. But but thank
you very much for saying that. I will just accept
the compliment. Take a deeper acquire teacher man, Yes, take
it deeper, apparently.

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Just squeeze your butt.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
Yeah, I have it the whole time since you said that. Yeah,
not stopped.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
If there's nothing you guys want to ask, then I
guess we can last chance anything to take some pictures
and stuff once you shut this down. Okay, have a
safe trip back to Georgia. Do you drive out? Whenever
they leave, I'll drop them off at the airport. Nothing
for you, Hey, did you you can get home? Relax,
have some food he's.

Speaker 6 (01:15:59):
Got We've got eleven kids between us, so we're going
home too.

Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Is it six and five or is it eight and two?
Because it's different for the two.

Speaker 9 (01:16:08):
I have four, I have two.

Speaker 11 (01:16:10):
I have one, but she's an adult.

Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
Okay, hold on, you have who has four? You have four?
You both have four?

Speaker 9 (01:16:15):
Yeah, and you have I have two?

Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
Ok Yeah, eleven between just YouTube, God, that's a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:16:23):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
I was like, you guys must have had him at twelve.

Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Do you guys see like the when you're missing like
one kid, when one kid just like that's something else.
You're just like, what's is so different?

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Yes, oh yeah, it's amazing. I understand the question.

Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
Like you have four kids, right, and one of them
goes to sleep over overnight, You're just like, oh my gosh,
the peace in this house.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
Goes down.

Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
It's just crazy because four is chaotic.

Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Well, we have these cages. We put our dogs in
like crates, so when we have kids, we're keet them
in there. We're just keeping them. We keeping up for that.
I'll go over, well, no, we won't tell anybody. We'll
just do it that way. We won't get in trouble.

Speaker 11 (01:16:58):
Yeah, there's some Hulu and Netflix documentaries.

Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
I saw, Hey, I saw the One Man where the
guy Kepta's daughter down there for like twenty years. Did
you see that? Oh my god.

Speaker 11 (01:17:08):
Your show recommendations have been so amazing, So thank you
so much. Thank you. And we'll take a food recommendation
right for today.

Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
I don't I don't need dairy. Yeah, I go to Morgan.
I don't need dairy, So we're like ice.

Speaker 8 (01:17:22):
I did have a few, did you guys? Like a
Buffy runch.

Speaker 12 (01:17:27):
Hold on, I have been listening Buffe brunch. Adele's is amazing.
You can also go to Pancake Pantry. They have amazing pancakes.

Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
Skyblue Cafe is super local cafe.

Speaker 8 (01:17:36):
So all of those are kind of the variety of options.

Speaker 1 (01:17:39):
I would say avoid Pancake Pantry today. It's great. I
spent multiple days here. Megd do that. Adele's is close
and really good. Morgan brought up a good one there.
I would I would jump on the adeles and do that. Okay,
and so awesome. Just spend time with you, guys. It
was so nice to meet you last night. Thanks you
just hang out, did forty minutes with us. That's super cool.

Speaker 9 (01:18:01):
You make it so we were all so nervous.

Speaker 11 (01:18:06):
You're taking deep breaths.

Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
Y'all don't seem nervous at all. Y'all have been great.

Speaker 1 (01:18:09):
If you would have been cool, that'd been lame because
we are not cool. Thank you for coming and Ray
