Speaker 1 (00:01):
Bobby Bone Show.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Lunchbox is pitching a new segment. What's the segment called men.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
At the Mall?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Okay, go ahead?
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Why are men at the mall? Because most men are
not there under their own accord? You see men at
the mall, and I always think, why would a man
be at the mall? And so I went around the
mall and found dudes just sitting there. They weren't shopping.
If they were shopping, obviously they're looking for something themselves.
These are guys sitting on benches, on chairs, wherever in
the mall. I just want to find out what are
(00:28):
the men doing at the mall?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
All right, let's do men at the mall?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
How you got stuck at the mall too? Huh?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Man?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Just miserable?
Speaker 4 (00:36):
Hey, hey, I'm miserable accent.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
How long you been in here for?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Let's see that guy here with the church at eight thirty.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
Hey, here's straight from church with an eight brunch at
a just kick factor. So you're gonna be here for
another two three hours?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh frankly, Oh frank Thank.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
The Lord for smartphones. So you got something to do?
Oh man?
Speaker 5 (01:05):
All right, well how about you man? How much all
you be here? Not much. The kids just walked that way,
and I think we're headed out.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
So I just want to I wanted in solidary. I
want to sit with you for a minute, and you know,
I say, I feel your pain, You feel it? Yeah,
you will survive.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I feel like there's just two old people talking.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
I feel like they were about to talk about the weather.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah yeah, yeah, let's try a second clip.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Go ahead.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
How long are you in for the struggle?
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Are you working?
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I thought you were waiting. I was like, because you
found the couch.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
And I was like, oh, you're white me, you're just
hanging out. Okay, So you're working. So you're in for
an eight hour or shift. Do you always see a
bunch of miserable dudes sitting here? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, Well that's why I was like, oh, man, another
fellow man in my position of waiting.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
I was gonna come and you know what's going on
with you?
Speaker 4 (02:01):
But what's going on? I'm going to say. It's not
his best.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
It was terrible.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Didn't you think this was going to be good?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Dude? You listen, what do you mean?
Speaker 1 (02:14):
It's not entertaining to find out why they're there.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
First of all, the first guy said, nothing, you couldn't
hear them. The second guy's working, Well, I didn't know
where are you here? I'm on the clock. All right,
I'll just go to the next person.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Then, well he was sitting on the couch.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Did you know this? It was terrible? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Well it gets kind of awkward at some points too,
and it is just really weird. But yeah, the concept
is good.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I believe I thought the concept is good too. It's
why I went with it.
Speaker 6 (02:36):
So maybe the next clip is good.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Okay, Well maybe he said, scares me that we saved
the best, rely.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
One, you don't.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
You always lead with the best. That's usually it. Because
BET's run short, you gotta cut it. Thirdly, this bit
is wait, this segment's way longer than the other ones.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
This clip okay, this one's a minute long longer than
the the other ones were long already.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Waiting, man, man, what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (02:59):
What about you?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Just do it?
Speaker 6 (03:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
He went to cheesecake back, what did you eat?
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Okay, here's the go ahead.
Speaker 5 (03:06):
How long you're in.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
For good question? Yeah, she said I'll be right there,
which she is like fifteen to twenty minutes, and she
just said I'll see you a few minutes out of
an hour.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Got it, so, yeah, haven't been here long.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I just got here, Okay.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Trying trying to learn her language.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Dare that's tough, man.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah, I tried to find mine. I'm like, where are you?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
She goes, I don't know. That's not a good sign.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
That's not a good sign.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
No, she said, I'm in a dressing room. That's also
not a good son. That's bad news.
Speaker 7 (03:34):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Oh man, that's true.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Well we'll suffer together for a little bit. Yeah, okay,
it sounds good.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Yeah, this is the dude.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
What do you think.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
There's so many of just like.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
He and I like all they're like.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
Yeah, yeah, wait I thought he said he said the
vestal last.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
There's just so many like lulls where he has to
like bring it back with something.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Well, right, you know, it's not gonna flow. I don't
know these people, so that I'm trying to get them.
I'm trying to fish, trying to get them. Just keep
talking and use the edit.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah you can.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
You can edit clips together a.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Little bit, but then it sounds choppy. If I just
went from a question to question, you'd be like, that
doesn't sound natural. The natural lull happens when there's men
at the mall because they're miserable.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
I have a question, go ahead, What did you think
we were going to say after hearing these three clips?
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah? Not the concept, because I think I like the concept.
When I saw the concept, I was like, Oh, this
is good. He'll go and be like, hey, how long
have you been here? What do you do? Like get
to the point. It doesn't have to be natural, you
just interview people. I like the concept. But then once
you had the clips in, what did you think was
gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I thought they were hilarious. I was like, you're here,
you hear you hear the misery in their voice. They
all sound very dejected.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I think it's hilarious because all three of us met
Amy and Eddie because like, is this is this a
prank on each other? Huh?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
You guys didn't hear the the desperation for them, like
looking for something to talk about, like they were second
guy was at work, Well I didn't know. You couldn't hear.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
You could have cut that one for a bit.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, and the first one, like you hear like the
leaf blower louder the mall.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
There's natural ambiance, right.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
There's you can interview them like a real interview, like, Hey,
we're talking to guys about why they're at the mall today.
What's your name, sir Michael? Why are you here?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
My wife dragged me out here. Like you can do that.
Everything doesn't have to be interview question?
Speaker 6 (05:33):
Should he go back with that? Because you said the
concept is good, so maybe just to execute it differently?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yes, are you ordering an episode two but different different styles?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
It's not episode two, Well, it would be episode two
because this was episode one, and so maybe we you know,
she's never made it out a pilot phase that executives
came in with a lot of notes.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
No, it's sort of like Urkle he wasn't going to
be the main character, and then that he got such
good reviews in the pilot that they switched the whole show.
So you know this segment is nothing like that.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, because people saw a racle and they were like, wow,
that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Well you said, no, you saw the title of it.
You're like, wow, that's amazing. Maybe the execution onen't is good,
so you know, it's like season one of a reality show.
It's not the best, but they get better, sort of
like always sunny in Philadelphia. Like you said, season one
was okay, but once they brought Danny DeVito on, it
really took off.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I've never seen them have a show that, like the
concept is good, but we hated the whole episode and
everything about it. Let's do season two, Like I've never
seen that. There's usually something If you want to try
it again, I would encourage you to try it, or
you actually talk. You can deal with those little microphones.
All you have to do is to to your phone. You
know people hold little microphones to people. Yeah, everything doesn't
have to be hidden. It is my point. I think
you think funny is hidden, and not all funny is hidden.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Oh this is new to him because he hides the
mic all the time.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I just don't mean there's not even mic.
He just hits record on his phone.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
It's phone, right, yeah yeah, So I just need to
get Sarah.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Can ask you a question. I'm you're talking to men
at the mall and why they're here at the mall?
Why are you here today? Okay, well my wife told
me to come out of after church. But how long
you been here? About hour and a half. Is the
mall like your favorite thing to do? On a Sunday. Actually, no,
I have one hundred things I could would rather be doing. No,
no to do on a Sunday.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
What if it's a Wednesday?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Well, oh my god, I got a question.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Do you have a MIC recommendation? Because I don't, I mean.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Amazon, I had to go online.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Look, does it just plug right into your your iPhone?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
You go to internet dot com?
Speaker 1 (07:28):
No, no question. Does it just plug right into your iPhone?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
It doesn't plug in. You can bluetooth.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
You can connect it bluetooth, some of them can, if
you want.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
That's what you want.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
No, he doesn't want to.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Then how does it record into my phone? Literally?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Watch YouTube video? Oh my gosh, all right, there are
nine year olds. They can do it. I have faith
in you that you can do it. And don't call
Morgan because I know that's what he's gonna do.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
He's already looking at you.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, okay, so Menu at the Mall, we'll put a
pin in it.
Speaker 6 (07:57):
Good try Dude at the Mally Season two but no,
episode two.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Two.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
This is a how the full episode.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
This is like we watched it, Men at them all Redo, Men.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
At the Mall. Yeah, it's like full house take. They
shot the pilot with a different Danny Tanner.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
Oh, that's right, that's what I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah, but that would never aired, or maybe no, that
w one never aired.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Or like Back to the Future, they did it all
with another actor. They did a lot of it, and
then they threw all that away and didn't new j
Fox came in, So throw all this away and do
a new one.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Yeah, I watched like this one. This didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Okay, men at the mall. I can't wait to hear
episode of one. I thank you right around the room.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Amy so craft times. They are revising their their what
do you call it recipe. They're going to take out
all of the artificial ingredients and dies.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
You be able to taste it still because that is
your talent.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
I know. It's so good. It's my favorite ketchup of
all the ketchups and all the land I just hope,
how however they alter it. Look, I don't want the
artificial dyes, but it still needs to taste the same face.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
It comes out and it's like purple now. It took
all the dyes to ketchup out, and Ketchups now purple.
Speaker 6 (09:10):
Well, I think Ketchup would still be red because tomatoes
are red.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
But what Yeah, probably probably not so red though, because
it's the perfect red.
Speaker 6 (09:17):
Ketch it is, it is the perfect red. But they
say that it'll be phased out of US products by
the end of twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
So that's going to be those cigarettes, right, we always
try to find what the next cigarette is. It's going
to be all these dyes that were in our food
killing us forever. They give us all these diseases we
had no idea about.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Even crazier though, I saw that Jello and kool Aid's
going to take the die out, like going to.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
That's all die They shouldn't yellow and kool Aid is
nothing but dye, right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
Well you can color things with natural like you could
use beats, I'll just be hungry. Well, you can use
it for to dye at a certain color, like, there's
ways you can do it. It just may not be
as appealing visibly or taste the same. So I totally
get it. I mean, we're drawn to like what we like.
You're like, oh, look at that pretty vibrant color. I
(10:08):
want to eat it, eat it.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
You know, you said that a little weird, but I agree, Yeah,
that's interesting and it's also interesting, like you said that
it's not till twenty twenty seven, it's like just stop
a lot of product and everybody, so let's just go
ahead and cut it right now. It's massive severity of it.
You would just go, okay, guys, we found that red
dye twenty two thigh mind, that's not a real thing,
(10:31):
but that it's killing people, so up on my handclap
you will no longer put it in food.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
But what's the difference that we've been eating it for
like our whole lives and get differens that's off in
your theory about everything it is and just a couple
more months, man of a deal.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
But it's another year first of all, and two your
your thing. It's like, what's the difference? What am I
start saving now? Who cares? I'll be retired. I'm not
going to retire anyway.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
I do say that a lot. Yeah, yeah, because like microplastics,
everyone's like, oh, you want to what's the difference. We've
been done for a long time.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
I know, but it's like, what's the one thing that
then pushes it over the edge.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
You think it's this month.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
In your body? I don't know, it's like one minute
you don't have a tumor the next you do well.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
I would say, though you're thinking of it. We all are,
but especially you in a very selfish way, because you're going,
what's the difference, But what about the nine year old
are starting to eat it now? Yes? So the difference
is they that, dude, the difference. The difference is they
never have to deal with it. You stop now.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah, So it's more than just what's the difference for me,
it's what's the difference for society?
Speaker 4 (11:35):
What if it meant though that they can't have ketchup
for another two years or a year.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
I'm okay with that. I love Ketchup, but I'm okay
with that. The greater good is we're going to save lives.
Take away my ketchup. But you know, somehow they turn
it political, like one side would pick on pro catch up,
it didn't even matter which side, and they'd be like, Oh,
I told you, Macca, make America ketch up again. It's
so dumb. It's so dumb. Okay.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Lunchbox Travis Kelsey was on his podcast talking about him
and Taylor Swift in their date nights and they have
a movie list, and it appears the next movie on
that list.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Band Slam. That'd been good. Yeah, Pretty Woman Okay, and.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
He's like, I'm down to watch it. That's one of
Taylor has been on her list for a while, and
I think that's the next one we're gonna watch or something.
I'm like, do we really?
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I mean, what are you complaining about here? I'm not
sure what you're complaining about. Is it that you're jealous
of Travis Kelsey for being a millionaire and have the
biggest pop star of our lifetimes as a girlfriend. Are
you jealous that is on a podcast? It's massive?
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Are his podcast is massive? I mean, it's here.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
What are you jealous of? I just need to know.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
I'm not jealous of anything. I just I'm like, oh
my gosh, okay, great. So we got to now we
got to come up with this thing that we have
a movie list.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Like the way we believe he's doing content the podcast.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Honah Amy, you and your boyfriend, Do you have a
movie list that you guys have that you're gonna go down?
Speaker 6 (13:00):
A good idea.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
It could be like a list, it could be there
could be anything. I've done bucket lists, We've done that bit.
What's a bucket. What's yourncket list?
Speaker 1 (13:09):
He said, him and Taylor specifically have a movie.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
That's okay. The point is he has something that they're
going to do that he's keeping up with as content.
We do that all the time.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
No, he's saying him, and this is the first time
he's talked about you're so jealous of trying that he
doesn't really have a list. I'm saying, no, one actually
keeps a.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Movie with My wife's literally going through a movie list
of movies, like she watched Don't Tell You When the
Babysitter Is Dead with Christine Applegate. I don't even think
I've ever seen that she watched that. She watched a
Hugh Grant one, because she has a list of movies
all of her friends that you need to watch.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Hill, that's a good one.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Did you watch him with her?
Speaker 2 (13:45):
It wasn't for us, That's what I'm saying that you're
saying nothing.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
No, this is what I'm saying. They're acting like they
sat down and we're like, Okay, what's a movie you
want to see? Pretty Woman, I'm out of the list.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
That's not crazy to me. This sounds very much.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Something that a couple do with a deliberate intention of
spending time together and finding something to do while they
spend the time together.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Or like the restaurants we want to go to.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Absolutely, you got to.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Let it go.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Jealous. This is the first couple I've ever heard of
that has a move. They sat down and came up
with a movie list that they want to watch again.
No one else.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
We're all telling you we've heard of this one one person. Well,
my friend I host a podcast with cats. She actually
does cinema Sundays. The point is, you're just you're jealous
of they don't have she would have, but like.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
My wife has a movie list of movies.
Speaker 6 (14:35):
She'll hear a lot of years, like we have said like,
oh that's on my list of shows to watch. So
whether it's a show or a movie, what's what's the.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
I'm saying, as a couple, you don't sit down and
come up with a movie.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
You can't. No one in this room.
Speaker 6 (14:50):
A young guy, no car.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, I remember that. It would be like an act.
I wouldn't see him riving your car, and I'd be like,
I'm not even Amy has like some twenty year old
driving or whatever.
Speaker 6 (15:00):
It doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Sugar Mama, go ahead.
Speaker 6 (15:02):
We I will say that we there were three movies
that we had on a list, and y'all even brought
up it was weird. Amy was always watching on.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
We knew, trust me, I knew, and he's like, I
watched Barry Sanders documentary and we're all like.
Speaker 6 (15:14):
Okay, remember when I watched Gladiator? Yeah, no, trust me,
that was on our movie list.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
We know, we know, we got it.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Is acting like people don't make a list.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
We made a list of places we wanted to go
outside of the country together.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Different.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
No, it's not, it's it's something you do together.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I am saying a movie list all you do usually
is sit down, scroll through the movie, say that one
looks good, and you watch it.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Oh that's not true.
Speaker 6 (15:39):
That's not true. People have lists of shows.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
But I don't know what he's So this is what
This is your symptom?
Speaker 5 (15:45):
I love.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
This is a symptom of the disease. What's the disease?
Speaker 6 (15:48):
Are you?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Man?
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Jo love?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
The way you guys argue for this, this movie list,
and not one of us has one, not one who
cares this is but.
Speaker 6 (15:55):
We had one or would have one.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, it's not something so out of the realm apostle ability.
It's not like a planets I want to visit. You
can't go to any other planet. It's an impossible thing
to go do.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Dude, let it go.
Speaker 6 (16:07):
Man.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
What about diseases? I want to beat?
Speaker 4 (16:10):
What about them?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
About you keep a restaurant?
Speaker 1 (16:12):
I don't have a list.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
I bet he's maybe you don't write it down, but
you probably have a mental.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Literally, if someone says, all that restaurant's good, I'm like,
all right, we'll try it.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
But how come if you don't do it, it means nobody
else does it?
Speaker 1 (16:22):
But no, literally, it's not me.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
But that's also not the movie is.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
In here and him and his wife don't have a
movie list.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
We have the movie list you do.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
I believe he literally just told you have ones that
are coming out or that you haven't seen, that she
hadn't seen.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Is this gonna throw you off as new movies coming out?
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Well, that's different than because you're looking that's coming out.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
We're moms.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
We've been sucked into that little light up in the corner.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
We can't go to you guys has a movie list
of Kelsey.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
It's weird.
Speaker 7 (16:52):
My boyfriend has a movie list of movies that I've
told them he needs.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
To watch, and so you're gonna watch and we're going to.
Speaker 6 (16:57):
Watch them together.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Morgan, that's crazy crazy.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Everybody knows.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
You just turn it on if there's a movie but
it starts. Should I just show up to the theater
and be like, what should I see it?
Speaker 6 (17:09):
Way?
Speaker 1 (17:10):
No, No, I understand. You see a preview, You're like,
all that come out, let's go see it.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
Well, what if it's what if it's an old movie?
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Why do you hate them so much?
Speaker 2 (17:19):
What's it? You also don't think they're real?
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Right, Yeah, that's what it's about. This is yes, this
is like, oh we see, this is what I'm saying.
No one takes the time, literally has one of his
computer right now. Those are coming out.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
It doesn't it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
You've been there any how long.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
You've been there for almost twenty years.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
And how many times have you guys sat down and
made a list of the movies you guys want to
watch together.
Speaker 7 (17:41):
Never, we haven't like just sat down and put it together.
It gets put together over a course of time where
you talk about something you're like, oh, add it.
Speaker 6 (17:49):
To the list. Okay, I figured it out. He doesn't
have normal jealousy, lunchbox, he has pathological jealousy. That's what
it's called.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Allowing this to happen for I don't know eight minutes.
What's pathological? Games My tooth is broken still and it hurts,
and my tongue gets cut on it. It gets cut on
the bottom of it because its jagged. That's pathological. What's
pathological jealousy?
Speaker 6 (18:11):
Persistent and excessive jealousy. It can be a symptom of
various missile health conditions. Oh my god, It's crucial to
address the underlying issue, to manage it and overcome these
feelings effectively.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
It's crucial for me to move on more game.
Speaker 7 (18:25):
Okay, I don't really watch a whole lot of sports,
but all over my feed today is all of these
videos of Caitlyn Clark getting like punched.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Oh so big game. Uh it wasn't last night. I
think it was two nights ago at this point. So yes,
she mean they ended up winning the game. It was
their second game back after injury, and so they're playing
and she gets hit. She mouths back after she gets hit,
somebody pushes her. Then another player comes up and just
nails her.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
It looks like bullied.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
Different people all at her and she gets shoved to
the ground.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
And what sucks is her team didn't jump into enforce immediately. Now,
Sophie Cunningham, I think it's her name. Later Okay, I
saw that video, Dude. She takes her down like Sophie.
She's Indian's queen right now because she take the same girl.
She takes down big time. Uh, she's coming in for
a layup and she just I have the w NBA
League pass. I watch a bunch. I only watch fever ms.
(19:19):
W A kind of sucks as a league in general.
I think there's some good players and boys. When they missed,
they missed bad NBA. When they missed, they don't miss
that bad w NBA. They like thought all the side
of the backboard and stuff. It's like me shooting three sometimes.
But I do watch a lot of it, and it
was it was then the Sun. Where is the son?
Are they is Connecticut?
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Yeah? Connecticut Son. We talked about this.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
They have a weird name.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
They're just one son.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, it's the yeah Connecticut Son. Yeah. I like I'm
big Cayley Clark fan. I got three bucks in her
cereal right here. Os Well pissed off and there roughing around.
That was crazy like.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
A hockey game.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Like there's a lot of jealous in the w n
b A that she carries the league. She got hurt.
The league went down fifty percent and people caring watching it, Ratings, attendance.
They had moved the game with the give Me thirty seconds.
They had moved the game with the Fever and the
Chicago Sky to a bigger arena. They have to move
all the Fever games at different arenas and ticket to
(20:19):
like three hundred bucks minimally. As soon as Kitlin Clark
went out, you get to take it for a dollar anyway,
I'm done. Yeah, yeah, they were given it. They were
given in the business.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Are they sad? Are they pathological jealous layers?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
I think they're just just jealous, like straight up. She
also plays with grit.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
Could this be like I say this, I probably shouldn't
say it a woman thing like that. They're just you know,
they're they're jealous and they fight and like like it's
almost like, uh.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Because women are county like that.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
What you know what I mean? You continue in the
you continue, No.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
We don't get jealous like that. Like the whole league
is jealous of her.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
I'm gonna a whole I'm gonna push back a little bit,
just a little, because I agree the whole league is
jealous because here comes this girl from she played at
Iowa and now she's in Indiana. Nobody, even Gino Armanda,
the the Connecticut basketball coach who's the all time greatest
of all time past summit up there as well, was like,
she's not gonna be able to succeed, like all those
(21:19):
WNBA players are like, she's not gonna be able to succeed.
She does. She's a little tired at first because they
come right out of the season, second have the seat,
and she crushes Rookie of the Year like third and
MVP voting. I think I think there's a jealousy because
that league has lost money forever they fought, like, hey,
pay attention to us. The product's not been that good,
and now everybody cares all at once because of one person.
(21:40):
I could absolutely understand that jealousy. It's as if like
the rest of the league saw Kayleb Clark make a
movie list, and it's like she's like, I'm gonna watch
all these movies.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
No league then.
Speaker 6 (21:49):
Goes believe that, I get that I'm an outsider here.
I'm not in the league.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Finish my story here. When Lebron joined the NBA after
being the freshman that on the cover Sports Illustrated not freshman,
but he didn't play college basketball, so he goes straight
from playing college basketball in Ohio to the Cavs. They
beat the crap out of him the first year.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Oh, and their men correct.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
They were haters for sure, but they weren't jealous of him.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Yes, that's exactly what it is. Haters in jealousy. I
think that's synonymous.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
This is one of those things where women behave one
way and it suddenly becomes this negative behavior, but men
act that way, and Eddie's like, no, that's not what
it is.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
We've also never seen a single player as transcendent in
a sports league in our lifetime as Caitlin Clarke has
for the WNBA. So the jealousy that someone like a
Lebron gets. Kobe didn't start his first year. So you know,
Kobe was drafted, and he was drafted to Philadelphia, gets
traded and they knew he was going to be the dude,
but he wasn't really the dude. So he didn't have
that Lebron did, and they they there are old clips
(22:50):
of guys being like, he's coming in the league, We're
about show him what's up. He ain't ready for the NBA.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Yeah yeah, yeah, So that's like dominant alpha, like you
can't come in.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
That's the same thing they just have in vagina. But
it's the same thing jealousy.
Speaker 6 (23:03):
That's what jealousy for men because you make it this
like where there's the caddie can't get a hold of
our feelings type thing. Which, guys, what they did to
Lebron wrong society is.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
What they're doing to her. Except she's so much bigger
than Lebron ever was as far as how valuable she
is to that league. Lebron was the next superstar. But
they're already superstars. There really weren't any transcendent w NBA superstars.
There are people that if you follow women's basketball, you
knew super Bird Hall of Famer for sure, but I
(23:37):
don't think and I have met Supbird and she's awesome,
but I don't think a casual basketball fan in general
would have known superd if she walked down the streets.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Okay, Cheryl swoops old Rebecca Lobo. That's why I think Lobo.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
But even then, yeah, you are a hater.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
It's an observation, and I knew it was going to
get mad.
Speaker 6 (23:58):
No, well, no, you're honestly, I can't hate on you
for it. You're a product of a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Think but you're not looking at it in the way
that you should, because it's exactly the same, except it's
more because she is more to that league. She is
more than any single NBA player at the beginning of
their career was WACA. Jordan didn't win when he first started,
Kaka Joran didn't win championship like a sky Pippin. The
bull sucked.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
I wouldn't say sucked.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
The bull sucked Michael Jordan's first year, well.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Yeah, they were the worst.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, and the can't and can't le Clarke went to
the freaking playoffs her first year.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
A little bit different, yeah, a little.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
But the times they are different too. You can't compare
ninety players in eras to players of today, For.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
I mean, the level of competition is a lot different
in the w the NBA than the NBA. Well, I
would say right, not really, I've watched the WNBA play
they kind of suck, right, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
And the NBA players they kind of sucked in. It's
very physical, they weren't shooting. It was not a finesse
game then at all. But she's more valuable than any
single players ever been to any league in our lifetime
from the start. Ok and they're jealous, but that happens
to NBA players too, when rookie come in. What do
you think roocky hazing is in general a little jealousy.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
Show you whose boss coming in? Who do you think
you are?
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Exactly?
Speaker 4 (25:10):
It's an observation goes.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
About it's conditioning, yeah, but let's unconditioned. Yeah, I don't
have to be willing.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Are you willing?
Speaker 4 (25:17):
What are you talking about? Like like, this is my belief,
It's not my belief, it's what I just see, Like
you think belief.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
I don't expect from women.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Said, I think this is a woman thing.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
You know where I get it from? Women are crazy
like that. It changed segment.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Over now it's conditioned them. I get it.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
And that's just society and people that.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Just conditioned me a little bit too, because one I'm like,
is she crazy? And then I just think about when
lunch box brings it to the table.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yeah, thanks lunchbox, you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Yeah, I love bit. I hate right there.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
It is And you knew it, You're you.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
I knew that around you for sure.
Speaker 6 (25:57):
Probably you shouldn't say it, Like why is that you
shouldn't say it about me? You probably should.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Get triggered it like Kaylin crunch time.
Speaker 6 (26:04):
Bobby, I'm not triggered. You're not triggered exactly. He just said,
I didn't want to say you triggered.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Someone were not triggered. You say they're triggered exactly, triggered.
How people get me you're triggered. I'm like, I'm not
triggering that. I find myself being triggered by them saying I'm yeah,
I'm like, I'm not triggered.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
I'm actually because I'm on the receiving end of some
of the conditioning at times where as a woman, you're
expected to act a certain way, and if a guy
acts the exact same way, it's not seeing the same.
You're right, right, and so but he's like, I didn't
want to say.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
It around you, and you know what, that's that's my
fault because I am like i'd like you another, woman
are crazy, and so.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
That's what we got balance it out with. Men are crazy.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
If he has one, has read he like tomorrow who
knows on the show, it might be like lunchbox okay,
because he fires one off to me all the time.
He's like, I got another and I only go to
it like once a week. But the guy is doing
a lot of work.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
I had to do a lot of work.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
There.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
There's there, I mean they're everywhere.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
He gets a lot of work and sending them to
me to be like, how about this one?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yeah, And then when he doesn't say it hurts his feelings.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
We'll do a segment. Men are conditioned, and I give
you another example.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Well not just play ADDIE's Club, Okay, Morgan, thank you.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
It's not men that are conditioned, though, too. There are
women that are conditioned.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Anyway. They are very jealous of Kaitlyn Clark. Yeah, jealous
and for many ways she's also awesome.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
But you would think they would be grateful for the
attention on the brand and the sport.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
If they were.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Well.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I thought about this too on a personal level. I've
been doing this long time. I've done it at the
highest level you could possibly do it and it's great, fantastic.
If all of a sudden they dropped somebody in and
they were way better than me and were taking all
the attention, yet I was still it was like lifting,
you know, a rising tide lifts all ships. I think
a little bit I would still be resentful a little bit, like, man,
why is he getting all the freaking credit even if
(27:52):
he is better? I think just the human part of
me would or she It could be a she too condition, though,
say he, So.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
I get it. Women are crazy.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
I think the human part of me, if I boil
it down to that, I can understand. But then I
also think, like I'm intelligent enough to know, hey, man,
we're all gonna get better, We're all gonna get more
eyeballs because of this. So why It'll be like if
he or she were doing a show right before us,
and we were getting a lot of listeners onto our podcast,
our radio show, and they just like, like, when one
(28:25):
show leads into another, you want a good lead in.
We had a great lead in, so we're getting a
bunch of listeners from it, And I was like, you
know what, I'm so jealous. I'm gonna go I'm gonna
shoot them. Well, well, that would be counterproductive because I'm
getting like my primal wish of I'm jealous, I kill,
but it's gonna hurt me because the people aren't rolling over,
and I feel like that's kind of what's happening with them.
They hurt her, the people aren't gonna roll over. You'll
(28:46):
be as jealous as you want, and it might feel
good for a second. But watch the Attendants. Nobody cares
if she's not playing. Nobody cares. Nobody that didn't care
before will care now if she's not playing. Now, Paige
Becker's awesome. Like, I think there's a new class that
is people are now paying more attention to that are
a bit more skilled. That's all. Don't get me started.
(29:10):
But page backers can play defense right now. I watched
the w n b A games all time, Yeah, just
the fever. I watched Dallas a little bit too for
page backers.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
Who's Dallas? What are they? The Dallas Cowboys, the same
star and everything? What do you think Dallas is okay?
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Because like, I don't even know what a valkyrie is,
and Golden State's the Valkyries, and I always thought they
should just do this and this is. I'm conditioned, but
I always thought they should just do like the the
Lady Clippers. That's sexist.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
But we would know because the Connecticut Son makes no
sense when the Phoenix Sons are in Phoenix, really confusing.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Exactly, And we looked that up. It's the Mohegan Son
because I thought the same thing, like, there's no son
in Connecticut, it's cold. That was my stupid logic. But
it's the Mohegan Sun the casino still and so that's
why they're because they paid for it. Yeah, that's the Sun.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
So is there one in Phoenix?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Uh, Phoenix is the Mercury.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
Yes, Mercury.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I'm not gonna get them, all right, but I do
watch w I know Vegas is aces.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
That's a great one. That's a great one.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
That's a great One's Dallas.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
I know, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Say it not yet because I trust that, you know,
I mean, just take a guess, Oil Wives, it doesn't
make it.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
I'm joking, joking, look at her, that's funny. I'm joking, Amy.
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
I'm not checking, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
It doesn't make sense though, it's like they just picked
a mascot, which is why because if it were like
the Dallas Lone Stars, the Loans, Yeah, it's the wing,
the Wings. I don't like Southwest Airlines hub. I don't
think it is.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
But what what is even mean?
Speaker 2 (31:01):
But I don't think every mascot means. I don't think
there's a bunch of warriors in Golden State. I think
they just sometimes you just pick a cool mascot. Okay,
here we go, because like the New York Dallas Wings
are named after the iconic Dallas pegasus, a symbol of
the city.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Oh, that's on a building, a pegas. Is it a
mobile mobile?
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Building like that?
Speaker 4 (31:20):
It's a gas station? Yea, yea yeah, Dallas Pegasus. No,
but it's on a building like the pegasus is on
a building.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
You drive by downtown, you see it, I believe you guys.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yeah, I think that's the mascot of a gas station.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
Yes, one of those gas stations mobile.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
The pegasus, a wing towards for Greek mythology, is a
well known symbol of Dallas. Okay, look, we didn't know.
I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
No one knows.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I bet it's hard coming up with a mascot and that.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
They're only like they're only like twelve teams.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Fourteen teams in the w NBA.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Yeah, well, how many teams are their total? Mike twelve
twelve Atlanta?
Speaker 6 (31:58):
How did we start talking about this w n B
A Morgan story? Yeah, Atlanta, Atlanta got punched, M punch
but chief.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
I don't know the dream?
Speaker 4 (32:10):
Oh m okay, that's what I thought too possibly okay,
D like.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Oh he was from Elijah one, but he's from Houston.
I was confused.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Let's see, I don't know that's truth. It is named
YEP in honor of doctor Martin Luther King Juniors. I
have a dream speech that's that's a great mass Atlanta, yes,
which was delivered with Atlanta. Oh, I don't know that
he's from Atlanta the town, but I know his family
lived there and like got it. But okay, he was
born and he's born south of Atlanta, Georgia. Okay, give
(32:42):
me another one, like the Phoenix. Uh, the that Los
Angeles sparks. That's just a good one because I don't
know sparks.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
There's a spark there in.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Fire.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
I don't know what's the San Antonio one.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Santoine has a team.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
I think they folded.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Actually I don't. I don't know that.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
I mean he was, and they had one. They won
the championship like three years a row, and they folded.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
A team.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I don't know now that you said they may have folded.
They used to have a team.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
I know that Minnesota has the Cat, the Lynx Cats.
Oh the Lynx, Yeah, the Lynx, because they also have
the Timberwolves and Nbas. I know that their logos are
even the same colorish type.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
That's smart. So that way, it looks like when someone's
wearing a Timberwolves color around town, like all links were
getting support.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Yeah, okay Morgan, thank you, Yeah, Eddie.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
Oh do mine's crazy. So this guy in Utah was
walking his dog around the lake and the dog grabbed
a shoe, found a shoe and like they started playing
with a shoe and the owner was trying to get
it and to throw it, you know, do fetch or whatever,
and he noticed there was a foot in there.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
No way, just a foot. Where was the leg from?
Speaker 4 (33:45):
Uh, they don't know. They're still trying to figure it out.
They think it's like there's a fisherman that went missing
like twenty years ago. They think maybe it's his foot.
But that's crazy, dude, how about you walking your dog
and he picks up or she picks up a freaking
human remain.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Yeah, because I think it's weird if she brings out
like a raccoon and I'm.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Like, oh yeah, crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Yeah, that's crazy. Here's mine. A study found there's one
trade that can make you happier the rest of your life.
What do you think the one traite is?
Speaker 6 (34:20):
We can I don't know. Is content a trade?
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (34:26):
I think trades are pretty vague.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
Funny trade mm hmmm, humorous trait?
Speaker 6 (34:35):
I feel like people.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
I wonder if rich would be a trade. Rich a
trait is, though, is more something that you can have
like inside of you? Rich is external?
Speaker 6 (34:47):
Like I know that people that use the word what
instead of why are more content.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Uh So you say funny eddie, funny humor? You say,
can you say rich? Trusting?
Speaker 6 (35:03):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Yeah, said he found this one trait that can make
people happier the rest of your life. No matter how
old we are, Trusting other people makes us happier and
it gets easier and easier to do. Trusting makes us happy,
and being happy makes us want to trust people. So
one leads to the other.
Speaker 6 (35:16):
I think when we like we feel safe.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, I'm safety the big part of it. I'm sure
I have a couple of things. Because, by the way,
as of this moment, is there a vergin the car
and retrial.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
No, I just I googled it a minute ago.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
I'm checking, like an hour on the hour. I saw
Judge Bev get the question, Hey, if we're I think
I mentioned this yesterday. If we're not guilty on two
counts but we're hung on one, can they be separated?
And Judge Bev said no, And I watched someone break
that down and go that's a hypothetical question. She can't
answer a hypothetical question. If they were to say, here's
(35:49):
are what we have is our verdict two nose and
one hung, they'd probably see the probably said okay, seal it,
go back and work on the third one. Seems like
an old man.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
I hit cough. There is not one.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Okay, did you're at Mike actually turn off?
Speaker 1 (36:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
No, he just leaned over.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
No, I hit the cough. I had the cough down
and that.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Was loud talk.
Speaker 6 (36:14):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
I guess everybody else might pick you up.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
I think jury deliberations are still going going. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Uh, So here's the guy I pulled this off TikTok.
He's playing guitar, and it's a song that he wrote
about the Karen Reid situation. And it's kind of funny.
Most of the stuffs cringey, but this one's kind of funny.
His name is Will King Music. Here you go. It's
it's Taylor Swift parody. Do I have this? Yeah? You should.
(36:44):
It's his audio right right saying yeah, it's up there.
I don't have it.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
It's funny. I think I saw this guy and he
said he doesn't have it? Which song is it? What
song of Taylor's? Is it?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
You were meant for? Your made for whatever? It was?
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
Terror and read is she not? I don't let me
just find out my own thing. What kind of system
we wright?
Speaker 6 (37:03):
And I can't.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
I can't get that song.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
I can't get the song said that she's all.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Right right body like I do we rip up our carpet?
Speaker 2 (37:19):
That's exactly what it was. That to you. So it
sent me. Look I'm what I was, look at my
inner culture. I'm not even worried about why it's not up,
even though it sent around.
Speaker 6 (37:35):
You'll be thinking about it, and I'll be thinking about
a month from now. You'll be like, well, I'll.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Be like, you're talking about personal experience.
Speaker 6 (37:41):
Yes, he knows that will me to bring it up again,
to bring it up again. You forgot? Did you forget that?
I was late to the home runner. I was like,
what what else would it be?
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Bobby was just looking for an email. She's triggered, Oh
my god, triggered me.
Speaker 6 (38:02):
I'm not triggered. I'm having fun. I'm just like I
am having fine.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
My dad text her email. It maybe email because I
emailed it over. Now I got it.
Speaker 6 (38:16):
Now we find out like Ray never got the memo.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
No, he got. I see it here. He sent it
to Abby, Ray, Scuba and Morgan. This time it will
be the true if they say she Karen's not guilty.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Karen's not guilty.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Oh that's that's the end. Oh I started the end period.
Speaker 4 (38:39):
Before days sold their home, gave the dog away, and
all got a new sell phones.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
She's getting set up by the boys in blue.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
They didn't find her till I.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Had on the line, till after her car was in
their shop. Secure.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
He's not even rhyming sometimes, he just saying stuff it works, Yeah,
it does work. It's funny so much so that it
emailed it to Mike, and then Mike emailed it to
Abby Ray, Scuba and Morgan, but not funny enough that
it made it to the wall to play on the
show in a barrier. It happens, It happens.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
Look at you gross?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Also tired?
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (39:23):
Is that all it?
Speaker 3 (39:25):
To be?
Speaker 5 (39:25):
Tired?
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Shoot? So we have the Barbara Corkoran thing. I was
on Instagram yesterday and Barbara Corkoran posted a picture of
all of her plastic surgery because this is a new
thing where everybody talks about it. Now, did you guys
see this?
Speaker 6 (39:40):
Yes? And I feel like when you're really old.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Easy is easy.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
She is old.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
What do you mean by old easy?
Speaker 8 (39:47):
Like when you have lived a lovely life of success
And she has the means obviously, and then it's like
people aren't maybe judging as much, she.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Said, because all is because all the cool kids are
doing it. This is everything She's had. Eye lift, three facelifts,
lower eyelid, skin pinch filler four times a year, brow lift, necklift,
ear filler four times a year. Professional teeth whitening fractional
fifteen to fifty laser one times a year, clear and
(40:22):
brilliant laser two times a year, fractional CO two laser
on face one time a year, Wow brow wax one
time one x a month. I mean, she's the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
I mean I feel like that's too.
Speaker 6 (40:30):
I don't care that CO two laser will make you
look like you've been in a car wreck. I don't
want to do it.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Why would you want to do a car wreck?
Speaker 6 (40:37):
Look, I don't know. It's supposed to be fantastic for
your face.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
But it just like after the like you, I don't
want to look at.
Speaker 6 (40:45):
No, No, no, Like that's what you'll look like for four
to five days and then the inflammation and the swelling
will go down.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Yeah, but you don't mean the look of the car wreck. Like, No,
I just take your haircut and you're like, I want
to look like this. You don't take a car wreck and
can make.
Speaker 6 (40:59):
Just a it's just a skin treatment, like a laser
thing that will just inflames you in such a way
you're unrecognizable.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Can you believe they made a movie list?
Speaker 4 (41:09):
No, is.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
It's amazing that no couple we know does it, and
we literally wan Mike just said, upcoming movies that we
have so.
Speaker 6 (41:19):
Many that are like I made movie lists. But that's
not it's not weird.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
It's not weird. I don't think so. I think you're
just jealous.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
I've never met anybody that's outing there and going, let's
write down every movie we want to watch together. No
one does it. You may be like, oh, have you
ever seen Days of Thunder.
Speaker 6 (41:36):
It's like they're just like us, like they sit at
home and watch movies together.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
I do want to bring this up in conclusion. Okay,
not the same, but I know you have an eyebrow person,
it's really hard to get into.
Speaker 6 (41:49):
Oh yeah, I booked an appointment.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
It's so weird that it takes so long to get
into some stuff like I have doctor thinks that are
like it's three months before you can get in. Yeah,
because it's not I'm not dying, And I'm like, well
that's weird.
Speaker 6 (42:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Luckily I know my dentist. My tooth is broken, obviously,
I just seven a time. But luckily I know him
and I can text and be like, hey, in the
next few days, can you tell me a spot. I
will come in. But some dentists you can't get in
for like a month unless it's an emergency. Amy has
an eyebrow person because Amy shaped off her eyebrows when
she was younger.
Speaker 6 (42:20):
I don't know her, but I've seen a lot of
people post about her on Instagram, and she's here in Nashville,
and so I just started clicking and following, and then
I saw she posted a story that said, like, my
books are now open for booking, and I was like, oh, well,
I'll click on the link, and so I go and
I finally found a day that she's available for a
new client. Because if you're an existing client, it's easier
(42:40):
to get in, but as a new client, so I click,
I register and all of that, and then I get
an email and it's like your appointment is in eighty
five days.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (42:52):
I was like, I just made an appointment for my eyebrows.
She's apparently some magician that is going to help can
maybe help grow my brows. Twenty twenty five has been
the year of my brows.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
You just plucked them all out when you were younger,
and now you'd like to have them back.
Speaker 6 (43:07):
I've been on a journey. Well what happened was my first.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
So like homeward bound, I mean, like her in another
dog lab or.
Speaker 6 (43:14):
Something I did overpluck as a child, but also only
like half a eyebrow really would grow a lot anyway,
And I remember I would draw them on in high
school and I would go swimming, and one time I
came up and people I was like, friends I was
swimming with, they were like, Amy, well have been to
your brows? I was like, oh, you know, I guess
they went off and then they were like, oh, half brow.
And then I have had an insecurity ever since then.
(43:36):
So when I was in my twenties and I could
finally pay for it myself, I went and got my
first like eyebrow tattoo situation. Now they call it microblading,
but I started that in my twenties and then had
been microblading up until well this year because you have
to get touch ups. And I finally lasered all that
off and I'm in the process, but the lasering, like,
I'm still not done with the la I keep I
(43:57):
have to keep going back because the laser is like
red and yellow and or like the brown ink. I
know that you all are guys and so you're tuning out,
but this is a lot of women are in my
situation because they microbladed a lot of my generation, my generation,
and so I'm trying. Now that I've lasered them off,
I'm having to draw them on again. And if she
(44:18):
can help me grow them, like she.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
Claims, you'll wait three months, I.
Speaker 6 (44:20):
Will wait eighty five days. It just felt it felt
weird to be like, oh my gosh, that's how long.
Speaker 4 (44:26):
Is it a transplant? Do you want to?
Speaker 2 (44:28):
But she, I know, have you seen the new car wreck?
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Eyebrows?
Speaker 4 (44:31):
Those are cool man two, They're a little bloody.
Speaker 6 (44:34):
But no, But anyway, I know I'm not alone in this.
So if you, if you too have brow problems, it's okay.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
I'm so hungry. It's almost one o'clock. I'm so hungry.
I have acupuncture at two, and I'm telling you, I
don't know if it works. If I tell you what I do,
get a nap.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Boom, if anything, you get a nap.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
That's kind of why I look forward to going.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
You're welcome.
Speaker 6 (44:53):
What if it is working? And that's a little bit
why the song clip not being up isn't bothering you?
Speaker 4 (45:00):
Oh did they say that's gonna help you with that?
Speaker 2 (45:02):
I just have other I'm gonna tell you what it is.
I have other things to be irritated about. I have
only so much capacity to be irritated. I got too
much on my play right now. If I have too
much of my player for like eight months, and I
just have so much irritation capacity. And I'm not irritated
by that.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Because whatever, you need to unload some stuff, you know,
the lunchbox can take some take over some stuff.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
Oh you mean my work?
Speaker 4 (45:23):
I thought you mean, like say something, any kind of
work stuff.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
No, nothing, nothing, Shut up? Are you okay? Shut up?
I go crazy, freaking the joker.
Speaker 6 (45:35):
I was like this, I've been there before. Were you
like kind of laughing cry?
Speaker 2 (45:39):
No, No, I'm not there.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
Yet.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Two final things number one. Oh but the acuncttion thing
is weird though, because I go in and she like
puts on my ears, she puts on my stomach. I
don't even know acupuncture work, so I'm not like, get acupuncture,
but I'm trying it because I've tried everything else to
normalize get a decent night's sleep. But as soon as
she puts him in and walks out of the room,
I have no phone, there's nothing on. It's not because
(46:10):
of that, I think because there's no other option and
it can't go anywhere. It's like in the shower. I'm
most creative in the shower because I can't really do anything.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
Are you in danger of rolling over and all those needles?
Like maybe going further in your body? Maybe careful, dude?
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Possibly? Uh? Do you get your money for your golf thing?
Speaker 4 (46:27):
Any Oh? No, anytime I do anything with Lunchbox, it
takes me forever to get money. I don't understand. I
finally amy listen to this. I joined one of those
like pools, you know, where everyone puts in twenty bucks,
you pick the golfer that wins or whatever, and you
get all the money. Right. I finally went, I play
this every year. I finally won the big one. I
came in first, no money, and it's one in Lunchbox's friends.
(46:50):
And I don't understand. I keep telling him every day, dude,
where's my Money's? Like, am I in charge? I'm not
the one in charge of me.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
He's not the one in charge what his friend is.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
And I don't know.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
He said, I think it wouldn't be so bad except
he doesn't pay you either, so now you're taking it
out of him. The many times he has.
Speaker 4 (47:04):
That makes sense, So where's my money?
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Are you talking to me?
Speaker 4 (47:10):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (47:11):
I mean because if you want to look like an idiot,
you can look like an idiot because you are an idiot.
Speaker 4 (47:15):
Is it in my Venmo?
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Yes? You just don't check your Venmo.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
He doesn't check it exactly, so he makes up these stories.
Speaker 4 (47:20):
You must have just told them.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
No, I didn't tell him anything. You don't check because
I'll text some al Vinmo and stuff, and like four
day later, I'm like, hey, you get what Venmo like?
You have so much money you don't even know when
fifty dollars comes in your account.
Speaker 4 (47:32):
One hundred and ninety bucks.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But you're sitting here yelled
at me, and I'm like, I mean, it's not even
worth my time.
Speaker 4 (47:38):
Hey, but who paid me on venmo lunchbox? Did you
see this connection?
Speaker 3 (47:42):
Like?
Speaker 4 (47:42):
How much did he take? I don't even know how
much the whole grand prize is.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
You have a point there, But whose fault is that?
Speaker 4 (47:47):
You mean there was no breakdown of the money.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
I'm done. I'm done. You literally state sandwiches, I have
an appointment.
Speaker 6 (47:55):
Well I just was one, but I moved.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
It or the one in ninety days to get it?
For that one?
Speaker 6 (47:59):
I move did it to one thirty?
Speaker 2 (48:01):
But I have to get here. There's your No, there's
a show about kid influencers on Hulu.
Speaker 4 (48:06):
Have what's it called?
Speaker 5 (48:08):
Wait?
Speaker 6 (48:08):
The one?
Speaker 4 (48:09):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (48:09):
The creepy one? I watched?
Speaker 2 (48:11):
It's it? I think it's about to come out. Oh,
what's the one you watched.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
About YouTube stars? Kids though kids, kid influencers. We talked
about it.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yeah, I remember talking about it. Here's the d and
I didn't want to watch it. No, that was a
different one.
Speaker 6 (48:25):
No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
Do you watch Secret Lives with Mormon Wives sometimes?
Speaker 1 (48:28):
Oh, it's so stupid. It is the dumbest show on TV.
Dumb because they don't even talk about the scandal.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
Yeah, and so the whole show came from a TikTok scandal.
Speaker 1 (48:38):
So stupid.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
But they didn't and they were like that they call
soft swinging.
Speaker 4 (48:43):
Yeah, what does that mean? Let's soft swing?
Speaker 2 (48:45):
They just make out with each other's husbands and wives.
They wouldn't have sex with them as.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
Long as they were there, they could, they could do it.
Speaker 6 (48:49):
But Mormons, well not all Mores.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
But you are you in condition? No?
Speaker 6 (48:54):
No, this is no, this is this is stuff that
pops up on my TikTok from Mormons themselves.
Speaker 2 (48:59):
They they don't have an official account that pops.
Speaker 6 (49:01):
Up on yourund They were raised. They were raised Mormon,
and they talk about different things called like floating and
boating and okay, so talking or something. Yes, but I
mean they have all.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
You're thinking of soaking when you put in her and
somebody shakes the bed because you can't have sex. But
one of the things is that's a I'll go to
Vegas and get married and then get it, get a
divorce after the weekend. They'll go to Vegas, have sex,
and then get married and then like annull it until
(49:33):
they never got married.
Speaker 6 (49:34):
Yes, it's a loophole, which I feel like, is this
a loophole of like, well, we didn't do it, we
just kissed or whatever.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
They would do it in front of each other like
the sau swinging. But then one of one husband and
one girl went off on their own and did cheat
and that's how the whole thing came fell love. So
when the show came on, it was you were thinking, oh,
they're going to talk all about it, and none of
the girls that were involved in except for one was
in the first season and it was just like, we're
not going to talk about it, We're gonn to move on,
and it's like no, no. The whole point the teasers like, oh,
(50:04):
you want to find out what happened, You're like, oh, yeah,
I know, never talk about it. It's so stupid.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
I only watched clips of the show on TikTok. I've
never actually watched the show. I've seen enough clips, though,
I feel like time in ABC News Studios new docu
series Born to Be Viral, hilarious name bonnd to Be
The Real Lives of Influencers exposes the reality of creating
family content, following several creators in the course of six
(50:29):
episodes with footage filmed over five years, The show explores
the positive and negative aspects of broadcasting life to millions
of viewers, like the high potential income and the risk
of sharing with an unknown audience. The show is set
to premiere with two episodes on free Form June twenty third.
All episodes will be available to stream on Wholu July eighth.
Speaker 6 (50:46):
Yeah, let's obviously watch something different, but it was very similar,
which I do see how that content is intriguing because
I mean the story that whatever I watched, I don't
even remember if it was on Netflix or wherever, but
it was it was pretty crazy. How yeah, the parents
get behind this and then they start working these kids
like all hours of the day and creating just drama
(51:08):
and these poor children.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
