Speaker 1 (00:01):
Your buddy and miss the bobbing ball. Right, Hey it's Wednesday.
Good more studio. Well, well, well here we are again, Amy,
How are you doing good? How about you? Well, here's

(00:22):
what I was thinking. That's kind of want to run
this by you guys here on the show. So you know,
we had a Disney night on Dancing with the Stars
a couple of nights ago. Most famous mouse ever is
Mickey Mouse. We all agree with that. Yes, second most
famous mouse ever up for debate. Think about that because
you have people like, well, Amy, who do you think

(00:44):
second most famous mouse ever? I just thought a rat
to tui? But is that a rat? A rat? Works? Okay?
You again, you're not right or wrong, but you're answers Ratti. Well, no,
I have another one in my head, A modest mouse.
That's a band Okay, dead mouse, dj okay, lunch box
over to you. There's no question it's many mouse. Do

(01:08):
you think of that? Yeah, same brand though, like many
are the same thing. Yeah, oh, the same thing. Okay.
I would say Stewart little was up there. I would
say Tom from Tom and Jerry, Like this is literally
a conversation we were having backstage for an hour because
we just sit back there and wait for the show

(01:28):
to start. I was rehearsing, what are the what are
the mouse? My mouse is? I go with mighty mouse?
Good dog? Most famous dog ever? Think about that because
there are a lot of players in the dog situation,

(01:49):
because there's like the new age air Bud. But then
there's Lassie one not a thing right now because Lastie's
not really current. So who do you think Clifford the
Big Red Dog? Funny could be lunchbox most famous dog.
I have written down Clifford the Big Red Dog. Wow,

(02:10):
both of you guys went full Clifford Eddie. I went
nowhere near Clifford. I went Scooby Doo. Oh wow, Scooby Doo.
I think Scooby Doo is bigger than Clifford, big time
Scooby Doo. What about Beethoven's solid And again you also
have to factor in, you know, the last hundred years

(02:33):
where there's been cartoons and movies. Um, there's Lastie. What's
the other dog that saves people? O? Old Yeller, Oh Yeller,
rest in peace? Okay? Um? Most famous cat of all time? Oh,
let me say this about the mice. Jerry was the mouse,

(02:55):
Tom is the cat yeah, we knew what you meant. Okay, um,
most famous cat of all time? You think it's something
that guy, most namous cat, Amy Chester Chester Cheetah. I
guess that cats? Who is that? I'm talking about like
kitty cats and not like Lion King or the cat

(03:18):
Chester Cheeta, the cat the hat. Okay, well you're not
thinking about Chester Cheeto the cat from there is a
cat named Chester, that's the one I'm talking about, the
one that does on the cheetos. But then it also
made me think a cat in the hat, most namous cat,
Eddie Garfield, Oh, stop being so good at this game.
Eddie Wow Garfield from out of left field. He just

(03:41):
walked on the stadium. It's like, hello, everyone, that's a
good one. Anyone anyone else but Amy? But what are
we doing? Cat? Cat? Yeah? Cat, I don't know if
I haven't, would you consider Tigger a cat? No? The
Tigers with Tom being the biggest cat at Tom Jerry,

(04:01):
because it's been around forever and still is a thing. Okay,
so we're settling on biggest mouse. Go ahead, Hello, kitty,
oh super strong because in Japan massive and America massive,
oh so strong. Okay, collectively biggest mouse is Mickey biggest dog?
Is do we settle on air Bud or did I

(04:22):
just say that nobody Scooby the biggest Scooby Doo, Scooby
do so Mickey Scooby And on the cat it's either
Hello Kitty or Tom from Tom and Jerry has been
around a long time. I say, Hello Kitty. Yeah, that's
a good Hello kid. I go Tom, Tom Jerry. Okay,

(04:43):
so okay, So Tom Jr. Do you think Hello Kiddy's
bigger than Tom? For Toma Jerry over the past of years,
I think these kids nowadays, I mean they carry around
Hello Kitty backpack, but nowadays I've never seen a Tom backpack.
I have one on right now. Okay, anyway, that's the
conversation we were having for like eighty hours. Yeah, but

(05:05):
you never think about that right exactly. You know why,
because it's dumb Bobby show. It's producer Raymundo. In sports,
the Boston Red Sox one Game one of the World
Series they beat the l A Dodgers eight to four.
Game two is tonight. In Mega Millions News, the one
point six billion dollar ticket was sold in South Carolina,

(05:28):
and finally, all pimped Joid proceeds are still going to
hurricane reliefs. Just go to Bobby Bones dot com. So, Lunchbox,
you and your wife are fighting about a flu shot still, yes,
because she says, now that we have a child, I
have to get a flu shot. And I don't understand
why because I've never gotten the flu in my life
and I've never gotten a flu shot, So why would

(05:49):
I start now? If it's working, why change it? Don't
you feel like a bit you should be extra protective
because if a baby gets the flu, that's hardcore, right,
But when they're giving you a flu shot, they're putting
the flu in your body and they're seeing how your
body reacts. So why would I do that? Why would
I bring the flu closer to my body? I think
you're just hearing things lunch Box and repeating them on

(06:10):
the radio. Eddie, will you google what a flu shot does,
because if I'm right, I don't think they're putting a
live version of the flu inside of you. I think
it's dead. But I think you've heard someone say that,
and now, much like Facebook, you're just throwing it out
there without knowing the truth. Yeah, I mean I haven't
heard a doctor say that, but I've heard people say
that the reason you don't mean is because they put

(06:31):
the flu in you, see, your body gets used to
fighting it. And I'm like, well, I don't need my
body to be used to fighting the flu. Why just
keep it away from me? Well, because if you do
get well, Okay, Eddie's gonna look that up. I got it, Okay,
go ahead, Okay, So it's produced. It's it's includes antibodies
for the flu, which means these are things that fight
the flu if it even exists. It's a gamble of
these antibodies are fighting the right flu or not. But

(06:53):
it's just an antibody that goes in your body and
tries to fight the flu. So what they do is
they try to predict a strain based on what's happening
each year or each season, and they predict the strain
and sometimes they're not right, but they try to predict
the predict the strain correct. Lunchbox is not even they're
not putting flu in you. Okay, Well maybe my friend
Jim told me wrong. Jim, did you see the story
LaunchBox about not exercising is worse than smoking? Yeah? How

(07:17):
about that? They study people over like twenty years a
hundred thousand people, and they said it is worse on
your body if you just sit on the couch and
do nothing instead of smoking a pack of cigarettes. Today. Yeah,
sitting is the new smoking. Oh no, I'm standing up.
That's why I'm telling y'all. I want to like move
while we work. But nobody's on board with that. Amy,

(07:38):
wasn't you on your Instagram story that posted a picture
of that desk that's sitting desk? The magazine you were
in the Southwest air you know, like the it's kind
of like Skymall, but but the Southwest magazine, And it
had an ad for this bicycle where it had a
little desk for your computer so you could ride a
bike while you're working. It's amazing. And I I out

(08:00):
on Instagram right after I posted you being in there,
and they replied to me and they said they'd send
me one. Yes, they ask yes, yes, But I didn't
know what they were expecting along with this, so I
haven't really replied yet because well what do I say?

(08:20):
Let us know? Wow, Okay, Well, what we've learned here
is one the flu shot does not put the flu
in you to get up and walk around at least
setting is the new Smoking and three and he just
gets free stuff for posting about maybe it's called flexi
spot and they said, thank, okay, now you're doing a commercial.
I'm not paying a song. I'm done, done, We're playing

(08:43):
a song. Flexi spot dot com. Skinny Dirk Smittly just
announced I'll be an executive producer for a new comedy show.
It's set in a Nashville bar where singers and songwriters
go to chase their dreams. So when he's saying executive producer,
what does that mean? Well, it can mean a lot

(09:06):
of things. It could mean that he's super hands on
and is actually making decisions, which I'm doubting he's in
the weeds with it because he's so busy. But they're
probably coming to him and saying, hey, you have a bar,
like give us feedback on how being a country artist
and owning a bar like the things that you would do.
It could really mean anything. Yeah, when he chased his

(09:27):
dreams in honky talks and bars, they probably are going
to him for advice stuff like that. Is it a pilot?
Where does this show? By the way, what does it say?
It says that it's just a pilot and it's going
to be said at his Nashville bar, and it's there
isn't any word if he'll actually start in it. He
could show up, but he won't start and he's too busy. Um,
but yeah, that's It can mean a lot of things.

(09:48):
But it's a pilot, so that doesn't mean he's coming
to TV yet. A pilot has to be shot and
then created and costs a lot of money and then
picked up. So but good luck to him. That's pretty cool.
What else? Brothers Osborne shared a photo on their Instagram
got to jam with the Food Fighters in Alberta. They
performed Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker song Breakdown. I saw
it on Instagram. I love food Fighters. I think I've
seen a concert eleven times and I love Brothers Osborne

(10:11):
and so as a cool picture and how cool for
those guys to get to go off and sing with
the Food Fighters, the greatest American rock band right now period.
They probably got off stage and they were like, what
the heck just happened? Absolutely they did, all right, that's
really cool, Morgan number two. Anything else? The CMT Crossroads
episode was Zach Brown Band and Sean Mindez Airs Tonight
at ten nine Central. All right, there you go, thank

(10:31):
you very much. I'm Morgan number two. That's the skinny fun.
There's this woman named Nora and she finally decided to
settle down and get married at age one. Who look
at that? Yeah, and her husband, Malcolm is twenty six

(10:55):
years younger than her Robin n Cradle respect. At their wedding,
they celebrated their love of each other and their love
of dancing by having Nora entered the church to Alva's
dancing queen. Oh wow, that's a song from what she
was like sixty a hundred years old, just like logging in.
Dancing is her first marriage. Yeah, she's waiting for Mr. Right, okay, question, yeah,

(11:19):
no chance, right, no chance, Okay, let's same page. No noce,
no chance. There's no chance they did that after the wedding.
He's only he's only what yeah, but he is bibrant.
She can do that, no, no, yeah, yeah, Sarah from

(11:45):
the Bible, she had a baby like a hundred Okay,
Sarah with the Bible. Amy's quoting scripture and tell me
something good to make your point. I think we should
get Nora on the phone and called the phone on
the telegraph Okay, send her a pony express. Let her

(12:07):
know we'll come back. Is that it, Amy, That's a
good one. Yeah, that's it, all right, that's what it's
all about, right there, bone head? Sorry up today. This
story comes us from Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. A seventy five
year old woman was having tea with her grandson when
he said, can I bring some more and bring it
in the living room? She said, whatever you do, don't
put your tea down on the couch. And he goes,

(12:28):
all right, brings in there, and he says, I'm a test.
Grandma sets the t on the couch. She gets up,
pours the tea out, goes and gets her gun and
shoots him in the shoulder. Wait what she said, don't
put your tea on the couch? I know. I'm just
in shocked by And while you were telling it, Amy
makes it like a gun sign with her the story

(12:49):
and I'm like, oh gosh, she shoots him, like I
don't know if this is a bone head or more
like a really sad and something's wrong with her story. Well,
to be fair, the bone heads, there's a way something
wrong with them. So wait what happens in the end here?
She is arrested and he's okay, And she said, I
don't think I should go to jail. He put the
T on the couch. Here's the question. If I'm on

(13:10):
the jury because I've been there for Jerry duty, did
mimas say unequivocally note on the couch? She did not.
Now that's really crazy. Okay, Lunchbox, Thank you, Lunchbox. That's
your bone head story of the day, your buddy and
the right. Halloween's a week from today, Amy, Do you

(13:43):
and your family have your costumes ready done? I do
not have them ready and done. I mean I know
what we're going to be, but I gotta do that.
What are you gonna be? Oh? Well, I'm wonder Woman? Okay,
but which wonder Woman? Are you gonna be? Like? Normal?
But yeah, like homely, sexy woman. I don't want to

(14:04):
be a sexy woman by just by being wonder Woman.
It's sort of a sexy costume because the Wonder Woman
dresses that way. But they have more conservative versions. What
are you going to wear the so conservative as a
wonder Woman? Look, that's why I still haven't figured it out.
I am the worst. I'm the worst. I mean, my
poor kids, like all my friends that have kids, their

(14:25):
costumes are all ready to go. They're even ready for
like parties this weekend. I'm like, what on Tuesday night,
I'm gonna be like with a hot glue gun making
sure mine are good to go. You're gonna be blowing
your turtleneck just perfect for a wonder woman. I don't know.
We'll see and then I mean this could I guess
we since I haven't bought anything. Stuff could change. But
daughters super Girl, son is Batman or Flash or something,

(14:50):
and husband's Batman. I mean there's a difference than Batman
and Flash. Yeah, I got confused. My husband's Batman. My
son is Flash. Okay, anyone, lunch Box, you doing Halloween?
You know? Oh yeah, he'll he'll be dressed as a pumpkin. Cute.
So you're taking your baby out. Well, it's just a
onesie and I don't know if we'll take him trigger treating.
We went to look at costumes and they were thirty
five dollars a piece and I said, six dollar, Onesie,

(15:13):
that's good enough. So much Box. Actually just put him
in a pumpkin, That's what he Just put him in
the bumpkin and walk him around. Are you dressing up.
I don't know what I'm doing. I'm in a weird
position for this because I think I'll be in California
for Dancing with the Stars if I make it. Yeah,
if I make it through, and so right, my sketch,

(15:38):
My sketch is so weird. I don't even know what dates.
But if I make it through, um, I mean in
California still, But then I may be going to Austin
that day for a charity event because my friend Andy
has a charity event I'm going to. But then again,
I don't know if I because I'm kind of I
don't know a girl like a couple of no, not
a costume. I don't even know if it's something that

(16:00):
I can reach out and be like, hey, we should
do something for Halloween. I don't know. I'm just in
this weird place, so I have no idea. Probably what
I'll do is sit in my room alone in my house.
That's fine. I would stay home if I wasn't like
trying to take kids out to trick or tree for
the first time. I know I need kids. Just work
to Halloween. Can I writ some kids? You can take mine.

(16:24):
There's a guy who went into a place called Suck
Dogs in Greenville, North Carolina. Have you seen the story,
by the way, But I'm just laughing at the name.
And so he walked and he bought two waters, and
he left a ten thousand dollar tip. What Yeah, So
he went there straight up to just like someone. Needless

(16:46):
to say, the waitress was shocked ten dollars. The waitress
kept most of it, but also split some with the
other workers too. So first of all, ten dollars. Wow. Secondly,
if you're the waitress who didn't get in your section,

(17:08):
you're probably like, oh man, because you didn't know no one.
It did do a purpose. And then also good for
her to split it up a little bit. But we
should do that. We should um in the next week.
And I'm gonna make this uncomfortable a little bit, but
go out and bless someone like this guy did not
ten worth, but just do something and then come back
and report on it. And I know you won't want

(17:29):
to report on it because it's not really the nature
of the show. I'll report on it, okay, I know
you will, but yeah, today's Wednesday. You have until next
Wednesday to come back and report on how and the
reason we do this. Is because one we're very blessed ourselves,
would we agree with that? Amy? And two I would
like to encourage other people out there to do this.

(17:49):
It's a we'll do it, and hopefully people out there
listening are our people will also go, hey, you know what,
I'm pretty blessed. I should go out and just do something.
Mistake of doing it too, because think of all the
time there's something awesome has happened to us. Yeah, you
don't know, you don't know that. It's maybe you don't
even know it happened. That's right. So that's the challenge
I'm giving you guys and our listeners. One week, go

(18:11):
out and bless someone in any way you can. If
it's you know, uh, a parking spot, if it's a
nice tip like this guy, if it's a donation, if
it's at walking a dog. That's the challenge I will
give our listeners and all of you guys, everybody in. Yeah,
I got an idea. All right, go ahead, and I
can't ruin it or else. You already know what I'm

(18:32):
gonna do. But I'm gonna see someone on the street
and I'm just gonna bless him. It doesn't count if
they sneeze. That's not the same thing on the Bobby
Bones Show. Now that is okay? Alright'll sit right there.
How are you good? How are you good? What are
you here? We met a few times? Do you know that? Yeah?

(18:53):
I know that? Okay, I don't know. Just I'm always
just like the quiet guy. It's like I'm gonna make
medium nerd you it. I'm great. Yeah, excited about this record? Yes,
let me play something from it here. This is the
single shame. How long does it take to do the record? Um?

(19:17):
I don't know. I think I'm a bad person to
ask because it takes me, like, well over a year.
So you start this year ago? Yeah? I started. I started, um,
May of two seventeen. You know what's funny is that
I guess I knew you. I listened to a lot
of pop I'll turn to this stuff and I used
to work in that area too, and so I knew
you from this. Is that still the jam to you? Honestly?

(19:38):
I still love playing it? Yeah? I do, thank god.
So when you recorded this back in the day, did
you know back in the day, like, it's been a
hung I mean it's been a few What was that
what was the idea with the song, where do you
want it to go? How did you kind of see
it landing? Because it's on before I knew it was
on pop radio. Um well, I don't think I had
any like, um goals for that song. I didn't think

(19:59):
you would even make the record, let alone be the single. Um.
I just wrote it about a couple, like you know,
people I dated, and um, it just I don't know,
and it it took like a year for it to
do really anything, but um no, I didn't have any
like big plans for it. It's kind of one of
those wonderful surprises of life. I think when your song
goes up, do you make a bunch of money from

(20:20):
a pop song because it starts to kind of come
in from like more than other formats because it's so widespread. Yeah,
I think so. I mean it just on pop radio,
it just goes to it's just like such a huge audience,
you know. Um and then yeah, I got a lot
of syncs from it, which is awesome. Here is the song.
I think our audience was introduced to you by yeah

(20:41):
when you and Dirks Yeah so good, You're so good.
So you spent a bunch of time here because I
know during this run is where you and I met
the first time, because you were doing a lot of
stuff with Dirk's for the song. Had you been in
Nashville a bunch? Um? I lived to Nashville. I have
my I got my license here. Um yeah, I know

(21:05):
I shouldn't have passed his test, but I got it
and I still haven't. No one's taken it from me yet.
So you were in Nashville and you left and you
moved to California. No, I moved back to I actually
like drove around in a truck for like a year.
And then what you can't just move past driving around
in a truck for a year? Yeah, I drove like all.
I went to Canada. I got my heartbroken in Nashville,

(21:27):
and I left and I went up to Canada. My
best friend from New York was living up there, and
we went all over Canada for a while, and then
we drove all over the country and I ended up
in the desert, and then we drove back to New
York and I lived back in New York for a
couple of years, and um, and then my music kind
of took off. I didn't really live anywhere. I lived
on a bus and and then you know, recently I

(21:48):
moved out to l A and so that's where I lived.
Now l King is here. I'm such a fan. It's
cool to have you in here. I was reading a
story about I think you have a John Lennon signed
record that I do. How do you get a John
Lennon sign record? My dad gave it to me for
my birthday. Well, what a gift, I know, very very wonderful.
And it's like a record. It's not that big, and

(22:08):
we have it over the fireplace, which is like this big,
like well lit like place for like a big piece
of art. But it's just that that little record. It's beautiful.
It's my most treasured thing. Now. Yeah, in your house,
what's your favorite picture that you have when you think about, like,
this picture means a lot to you. Um, but there's

(22:28):
two probably a picture of my grandparents. My Grandma's passed away,
and so I have it in my kitchen. And then
there's a picture of me and my little sisters that
my step mom took and gave to me a little frame,
which means like we're getting along now, and my little
sisters loved me. It's great. I saw a picture of
a fan that had I think it was a whole
forearm tattoo of you. Yeah, it's hardcore, like the art.

(22:50):
I mean, it's you. It's good too, it's a great
It's it's such a risk to get tattooed with something specific,
but it looks exactly like you. It's kind of crazy.
That's that's the first. Like, someone had gotten my autographed
tattooed and they were waiting outside of the show and
I signed it and I had it was a bad signature,
so I like licked my finger and tried to rub
it off, and they got through the rubbed off part

(23:11):
tattooed too, And I thought that was nuts. But then yeah,
somebody in Canada got a whole portrait of me. Yeah,
and it's like over their entire four arms. Now have
you met them since? Um? I know I haven't met
them since the tattoo, but we are playing a show
in Toronto soon and that's where they're from. And um,
so she said, she wrote to an Instagram said she
was going to surprise me, but that wasn't surprise enough.

(23:35):
So I mean, I gotta do something nice for her. Right,
that's free tickets for life, right, Okay, that's if you
go to town, Like I have a dude that got
my face tattooed on his arm. Oh my god. It's
like whatever if I'm ever in town, like, what do
you want my food? It's crazy, right, Like I have
to hang out with them, Yeah, but you have to
be even with someone else though, No, And well they
they tattooed as before, so I know them. So it's like,

(23:57):
all right, I'm gonna come hang out and have a
full full one evening and I'm not gonna tattoo her face.
But you know, maybe something close l King is here.
The record is called Shake the Spirit. It's not now
this song? Is this on a commercial? Yeah? Yeah, maybe
it's um because we haven't released yet, so it's on
a hardly day on the motorcycle? Yeah? You know you

(24:27):
like this one? I do? It's fine? Yeah yeah. Are
you trouble? Um? I think it depends on the day
I have been trouble. I I think I'm into cleaner
trouble now, but I used to be a lot more trouble.

(24:48):
I can still I'm still horrible influenced totally, Yeah I can.
I like to say I'm very persuasive, you know, yeah,
what are you doing a thing in town? And by
the way, for those that don't know, you're dad, Rob Schneider.
Didn't he come to town and you guys were gonna
sing together or something and we were, yeah, we were
gonna sing. Um, we were gonna sing a pilgrimage and
it got rained out. That's what it was. Ten minutes

(25:10):
before my set, I was. I think my dad was yeah, crazy, right.
I didn't even get to really see anybody, So I'm sad.
But was that a weird thing? Growing up with a
super famous parent wasn't just normal? I mean, it was
just my normal, you know, And it's just it's just
because I mean I grew up. It's not like my
dad like got famous as I was older. My dad,

(25:31):
you know, got on S n L the year I
was born. So um, it just was normal to me.
The people ever yelled you can do what it shows
and my shows, yeah, they just yelled Rob Schneider, they
don't even do that. He used to make me so mad.
I'd be like kick him out and he never get
kicked out, but it makes me so mad. And now
I'm like, Okay, yeah, that's my dad, all right, let

(25:52):
me play this before you gottleish more patients. It's called
good thing. I've pulled a few of the songs that

(26:15):
I really like. Yeah, you kind of feels well, but
that's sixties soul. Yeah, that's like one of my biggest inspirations.
I think, yeah, yeah, just that old soul music. It's
just like, I mean, I've had my heartbroken a few times,
but like there's just nothing like a good really emotional,

(26:36):
like tight band but like great heartbreak song. You need
to be sad to write good songs. Um. I think
great songs come out of pain. But I think people
are like, well, what are you gonna do now? You're
you're like happy and you're you're doing fine. I've been
doing a thing I can pull from it. That's why

(26:59):
I feel like sometimes just like it's pretty good right now,
but I can I can remember. I remember, but that
song that songs super emotional, and I that was I
did one vocal take for that really, hold on a minute,
let me hear this again. One vocal take. You just
hopped in sing it? Yeah, because I broke down and
cried and I said, I'm sorry, I can't sing it again.
I walked out of the studio and we used it

(27:26):
a little practition PA one time. Yeah, are there do
you hear things in it that are flaw like but
that you love now? Because yeah, yeah, so after the second,
after the second first you can hear me my my,
like my voice quivers, because that's when I started to cry,
and I just remember being like push through this, push

(27:48):
through this, just get through one take of it, and
so I'm crying. And then by the like the really
like silent breakdown in it, like you can like there's
no hiding the fact that like my whole voice is
just like I'm like weeping in it. L King the
single out now, shame. It's really good to see it.
Thanks for coming by, Thank you for having me breath
of fresh air. Thank you, el King. I will play

(28:13):
you a clip from a famous romantic comedy. You just
have to name the movie, Amy, No romantic comedies, right,
rom com all the way. Okay, lunchbox, Amy, write your
answer down. Here is the first movie movie number one.
Go ahead, you just shut you had me at Hello.

(28:36):
There you go. There's the quote you heard that. Write
your answer down, please, Oh lunch is crying all right, Amy.
Jerry McGuire Lunchbox, show me the Mother, Jerry McGuire. We
got two correct answers there night, all right, Romantic Comedy

(28:56):
number two. I came here tonight because when you were
your lines, you want to spend the rest of your
life with somebody. You want the rest of your life
to start as soon as possible. There you go, think
about that. Amen. Oh man, I'm in for the win.

(29:17):
When Harry met Sally lunch, it's my boy. When Harry
met Sally, well you both have that. Yeah, I mean
that's the only I mean, that's Billy Crystal. That's only
when I know he's in. Well, you're both right right
here you go. Romantic Comedy number three and that movie.
So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard,

(29:38):
and we're gonna have to work it this every day.
But I want to do that because I want you.
I want all of you forever, you and me. Every day,
Will you do something for me? Stop thinking about what
I want, what he wants, what your parents want, what
do you want? What you don't know that? Can you like?
Just the beginning one more time? Just the beginning. So

(30:02):
it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard,
and we're gonna have to work it this every day.
But I want to do that because I want you.
I want all of you forever, you and me every day.
Will you do something for me? Stop thinking about what
I want when he wants? What your parents want? What
do you want? All right? Like? Literally, I have no idea.

(30:26):
Write your answer down? Okay, I don't, Amy, that's bothering
me that I don't even have a clue for the
year old virgin. I mean the parents so failure to
launch parents? Yeah, yeah, good one? What is it? Give

(30:49):
us another hint? H No, no that but that's Ryan
Gosling talking. Oh is it crazy? Stupid? Love's that's abook dumb?
Sorry I missed that one. Alright. Number four named this
romantic movie. Right here, I am, sir falling. There's only
one person. It makes me feel like I can fly.

(31:15):
That's you. There you go. I'm in for the wound.
A lot of times, if you can find the actor,
you can find the movie. Yeah, I found the actor.
I think I know the actor Amy will Smith. And
it's Hitch lunch box. That's Hitch. Come on, it's Hitch.

(31:37):
All right, we're down to a sudden death. That makes
up for last click and action. You know how they
say we only use ten percent of our brains. I
think we only use kind of percent of our hearts. Oh, man,
play that one more time. Hit it. You know what
they say we only use ten percent of our brains.

(32:02):
I think we won't use cud of person of her hearts.
Oh what is that guy? If you get that you win?
What is that guy's name? I read your name. I
have the guy's name. Oh do you write your answer down?

(32:24):
Lunch I love you? Man? Is the name of the movie, Paul?
I couldn't think of the guy. I couldn't come up
with it before the win? Who who's the guys? Owen Wilson? Correct? Now?
What's the movie? What? Okay? Sorry? I know all these notebooks.

(32:46):
People are screaming in their cars thinking Lunchbox and I
are idiots, and we are. But I'm glad. I'm glad
I want to and we are. We are. I mean, man,
that didn't sound like Ryan Goslick to me. It's not
like a cartoon character. Hey, you're still hating one that
you won the game? Amy, you're the winner. It's time

(33:06):
for the good news. I can tell you from experience
that going to college just itself can be a struggle.
But imagine you're studying tuition social life, but you're also
raising a kid. Thanks to a professor at Columbia College
in South Carolina, one of her students could not find
a babysitter. The mom had a big presentation and she

(33:29):
also couldn't afford him miss class, so she explained the
childcare situation to her teacher, and the teacher said, Okay,
bring the baby to class. She even offered to hold
the six month old so everyone can focus on her work.
And it wasn't the first time that this teacher has
done this either, so she's always like, hey, if you
have a baby, bring him, like, I'll take care of it.
I'll hold it. We'll make sure you still can do
what you need to do in order to further yourself

(33:50):
in your education. Isn't that cool? Let's go, And the
caption said we may be a little biased, but Columbia
College is truly a special place with the best professors.
Because I posted it too, I know, and that's our
true because not every professor, would you know, allow that. Yeah,
because like my professor, I was like, hey, I'd like
to bring in my dog hold a police and they
were like, nope, not at all. All right, there you go,

(34:10):
that's what's all about. That was tell me something good.
One of the most important things we do for our
health every day is brushing our teeth, yet most of
us don't do it properly. Quip is a better electric toothbrush.
Quip was designed to make brushing your teeth more simple, affordable,
and even enjoyable. Sensitive sonic vibrations gentle enough on your

(34:33):
sensitive gums. Sometimes people brush too hard, and electroc toothbrushes
are super abrasive. There's a built in two minute timer
and it pulses every thirty seconds to remind you to
switch sides, so it's basically walking you through. I need
to be walked through it. There's a multi used cover
amounts to your mirror. It unmounts to slide over your
bristles so it keeps some bristles covered. Brush Heads are

(34:53):
automatically delivered on a dentist recommended schedule every three months
or just five bucks. It just reminds me how to
rush my teeth. I know I'm an adult man now,
but I need that. That's why I love QUIP. They're
backed by over twenty dental professionals. Quip starts at Bucks
and if you go to get quip dot com slash Bobby,
get your first refill pack for free with the Quip
electroc tooothbrush. Get quip dot com slash Bobby. It's your

(35:17):
buddy and miss the Bobby Ball America. This is Boby.
That's right. Oh yeah, over to Amy with that joke.
Here we go in the morning the morning Corny, what
a ghosts eat for supper? What a ghost eat for supper?

(35:46):
Spook spook Ettie, spoke Etti, you know what you really
are selling it hard? Spook Getty. I gotta admire your
You're okay, okay, okay, it's tough one, but you got
the followed through. Come there it is. That's the morning corning.

(36:07):
That was the morning corning. A lot of people think
that marriage should now be a contract, meaning like, for example,
I recently signed a five year contract with the company.
They think marriage should be the same thing. You signed
five or ten years and then you reevaluate whenever the

(36:27):
contract comes up and we think about that, I mean whatever,
I don't see it that way. I don't need it's
taken as like a no. I mean, I don't like it.
I wouldn't do it. But I guess if some people
are into it, who am I to say what they
shouldn't do. I don't know. According to a new survey,
many year olds with support a change making marriage contracts

(36:50):
temporary and it's a renewal if you want to renew,
and if you don't want to renew, it's not a divorce.
It just is like, hey, that was a good run.
So that's like have a boyfriend or a girlfriend and
having at legally everything matters. Okay, I don't get it.
A survey found that a lot of people under twenty

(37:10):
four believe that marriage should be contractual and if it
ends and you're not happy, you can upgrade a different partner.
So do you you check in on like, I mean,
this is good to do in your marriage anyways, but
I'm thinking, like, you know, like at work, when you're
in your contract, you have progress meetings, see how things
are going, see where you can improve. Yeah, I think

(37:34):
you need to. But if you're married, contractor rules coming up,
you better put your a game on. That's right, next
year's contract year, so you know, in the final year
of the contract, they're like it's like honeymoon all over.
Kids are gonna be like, oh man, I hope, I
hope I get renewed. I hope I get renewed the kids.
I hope mom and Dad renew their deal. Hey, Jimmy,
how do you feel tonight? I'm just really worried about
the contract extension for mom and dad. That would be weird.

(37:58):
Listen again, not from me, But whatever works, whatever makes
people happy, that's all I care about. I know, I
feel like a lot like I don't know. I feel
like a long time I would have been really super
passionate about how this is just stupid and blah blah
blah blah blah. But I mean like I just don't
have energy to waste on that. Like, whatever you do,
you and don't you feel like really, whatever makes people

(38:22):
happy and whatever creates just a better world in general,
who are we to go? We can pick what's good
for us, but we don't need to pick what's good
for other people. As long as I'm hurting people, I'd
rather focus on things that i'm four than things that
i'm against. And so that's where it's at. Top five
songs in country music right now. Number five are dude,

(38:43):
Jimmy Allen who was in I Believe last week, And
this is a song called best Shot. Here you go
because when down down not the man for you. Number
four Russell Dickerson Blue toa coma chat for why back

(39:07):
Door your number three, Chris Young hanging on, hanging on,
You should remove Luke Combs at number two. She's got
the best of me, she got her best to me,

(39:28):
she broke to me and your number one song this week,
as sung by Amy Cole Swindale. Break up in the end,
Even though we break up in the end, we break
up in the end. It kind of even the one

(39:55):
the god away, It's still go. That is the high part.
Keep going. And even if I told my parents you
were moving in and they were like no way, oh wow.
She had to rhyme even though she didn't know the lyric.
Wow my free style, over and over and over again,

(40:19):
even though we'd break up in the end. Nailed it. Wow,
crush that. Okay, those are your top five songs. Congratulations
to Cole Swindell. Halloween is a week away, so I'll
play you music from a Halloween movie, like a scary
movie just named the movie. For example, this does not

(40:40):
count as a point. But name the movie with the
song go ahead. That's right, you all know it the notebook,
that's right. Oh man, I was wrong. Now it's Halloween
you guys. Do you guys know that one? Well, I
got we played you play that song whenever we have

(41:01):
something scary we're gonna talk about. Yeah, like shark week,
framy All right, here we go, thank you star all
scary movie songs. And here a song number one? Right,
your answer down, Amy, lunchbox, go ahead, I'm in lunch

(41:24):
boxes in oh jam still the jam. Maybe it's just
because when I was still a jam though, Amy, what
do you have? Ghostbusters? Lunch box? Ghostbusters? There you go?
Song number two? Name it by the song I'm in.

(41:51):
I'm in, Amy, the Adams Family, lunchbox, the Adams Family.
That's right. And if you remember during the movie, mc
hammer did a song too, he did the Adams Family
theme mc Hammer and our friends because I did. Yeah,
he tweeted me, you know number three, name that movie

(42:11):
by the song here we go. I love the scene
in this movie. You've seen this movie. But oh, scary

(42:33):
movie that has this in it? Halloween movie? Yeah, sure,
scary whatever I mean, how scary is the Adams Family. Yeah,
that's true. I'm just trying to think of Uh, I
got it, lunch Box, I know what you did last summer, Amy,
Beetlejuice Man when the dancing it is, it's so fun.
Michael Keaton was Beetlejuice Amy with the point named scary movie.

(42:57):
Here go ahead. I love that. I don't what movie

(43:17):
is that. Oh, there's so many that are in my
head right now. I mean Amy, Pultr Guys, Nightmare on
Elm Street, Never Sleep Again, Freddy Krueger. It sounded like
that little blonde girl singing, alright, one more. What's the score.

(43:39):
Amy's up by one, three to two? Okay, here we go,
last one, number five? Get it? Oh, I'm remember the
wind munch Box to tie Jason Amy. N Wait, you're

(44:04):
both wrong. It's psycho. But Amy is the winner. There
she goes, there, she goes, there, she goes. Was it? Well? Yeah,
I've all the answers right in front of me. It
sound how hard it was. You know, it's tough to
say how hard it Wasn't you have all the answers?

(44:25):
But Amy, congratulations on your victory. Thank you. Halloween one
week away? What do you have over their lunchbox? Seven
year old from Iowa makes five hundred thousand dollars a
year playing Fortnite. Wow, what's his name? Is that the
ninja guy? Or does ninja make more than that? I
don't know who ninja is. I don't know what you're

(44:45):
talking about. But his name is Nick Overton. He says
he gets up at nine am every morning, goes over
the business plan for the day, like he's gonna make
a YouTube video about Fortnite, puts it up, and then
from five to ten PM he's streaming playing Fortnite so
people can learn how to play. And he doesn't even
can to himself elite five hundred thousand dollars for playing
a video game every day. Oh, this ninja guy who

(45:06):
I'm talking about? I saw him on the cover of
ESPN the magazine, and his name is Tyler Blevins Ninja.
He's worth six million dollars from playing Fortnite dying. They're
gonna make more than athletes and they're gonna have a
longer lifespan in the next ten years. Well, I mean
maybe some carpal tunnel. Yeah. I have a better than
concussions and bad knees. But but this dude says he

(45:29):
never goes out with his friends, like never, Like he
didn't go do things with his friends. So what's the
point if you're never gonna hang out with your friends
of playing Fortnite all day? Well, listen, I can't say
that I hang out with my friends a lot. I
work all the time. Sounds like, well, listen, good for him.
I think we're all just trying to find our way
to make our place in the world. That's a lot
of money though, playing a video game. Yeah, half million bucks? Uh.

(45:54):
The Ninja guy, like he's the biggest gamer, right, would
you say that's true? Mike d saying yea, and he
has a cool name like Ninja. There will eventually be
like TV shows with rankings for these video game players,
and people will be watching like instead of Friday or whatever, football,
Sunday night, Monday night football, it's gonna be like Monday

(46:14):
night fortnight. Yeah. Yeah, And it'll be you know, when
they have the big tournament. They'll do like college football rankings.
They'll have let's let's announce the top twenty five game players,
and they'll have a tournament. That's that's what's happening. So
Eddie has a list over there. This is still your
top three list of who you think I'm dating? Is
that right? Yes? This is my top and it's shifted
a little bit. Oh it has. I've seen stuff. I've

(46:35):
seen stuff in recent social media activity that's made me
move names around. By the way, let me say this
before we get now. I'm nervous because I don't know
where this segment is going. Not that I do all
the time anyway, but I've been dating. I don't even
know if dating is the word. Amy says it's the word, right, Well, yeah,
because you've been going out on dates? And how many

(46:55):
has it been? Now? We never said that to begin with,
so sassy paying Oh I thought we had said at
least a handful on air. Yeah, well, listen, the schedule
has been rough. I'll be honest with you. But yeah,
it's been enough. And Amy now considers it dating. Yes,
there's nothing exclusive to it. By the way, we haven't
had that conversation. Do you think we should? Um? I

(47:19):
think yeahs to see well, I mean just for me, like,
I'm curious to see if she is dating anybody else,
like I legit want to know if she got asked
out by another guy. Would she be like, yeah, no problem,
I can go Or would she be like, Hey, Bobby,
I'm gonna go out with this other guy. Is that cool? Oh?
That would be a tough one because I have no

(47:39):
idea what she would say. Eddie your top three. Eddie
is the only one in the studio who doesn't know
who I'm dating. He calls himself the voice of the people,
because I haven't talked about it publicly. Go ahead, Number three,
Eddie on my list. This is three. This is a
wild card. I'm not very sure on this and I'm
just throwing this out because you were in love with
this girl when you were a kid, because she was
on TV. She's in Los Angeles, you're in law San Angeles,

(48:00):
and she's been on the news lately. You are dating
a Lissa Milano. Wow? Am I close? Wow? Okay? Number
two eights. He's not gonna tell me all right, Number two? Really?
I mean, come on, this is getting really obvious. On TV,
you're on Dancing with the Stars, you flirt with his judge.

(48:21):
She has said out loud, I love you, Bobby. On
national television you're dating carry on a Naba. Wow. Solid
guy you're ranking is really fantastic this week, So I'm close.
So I'm close. No, no, I'm not saying that for
entertainment purposes only. It's really fantastic. Number one, okay, and
number one. I didn't believe this in the very beginning.

(48:42):
I was very doubtful on this rumor. But now I
saw it. You guys almost kissed three times while you
were dancing. It's no doubt you're dating Sharna, no doubt.
You think in your mind that no doubt I'm dating
my dancing partner, no doubt. I mean, come on, guys,
you guys are rubbing noses, You're about to kiss three
times on national television. You're dating your partner. You don't

(49:03):
have any time to date anyone else. Bones, this is it, okay,
am I right? I'm not telling you if you're like,
I'm just gonna break and go yeah, you're right, and
then go, oh sorry I mean to say that. Okay,
Well that's your current list this week. Well thank you, Eddie.
So I mean give me a two out of three, like,

(49:25):
give me something like one is really strong, two or crazy?
Like give me something. No, No, I'm not going to.
I just I would have told you have dating before
anyone else on the show, and you chose not to
hear it. Do you really want to know now? Yeah?
Of course I'm the only one that doesn't know. Yeah,
that's too bad, lunchbox tell him or no? Not? All right?

(49:45):
Now you have it. I shall play Dylan Scott my
girl here on the Bobby Bones Show. And the reason
I don't share is because that's not there yet. If
it ever gets there, every want to be the first
to know. On the show. It's time for the good
news good Danny Trevathan is a linebacker for the Chicago Bears.

(50:06):
His grandmother. He's been in the NFL for seven years.
She's never been to his game. She's been battling cancer.
Team wanted to do something special for him. So Saturday,
this past Saturday, before the game, coach calls a special
meeting and out walks his grandmother to the field and
then the next day she's in the stands. They arranged
it all fleur In and Danny had no idea. Yeah,

(50:26):
that's good, that's cool. That's a good one. That's one
will make your hair stand up on your arm. That's
tell me something good. That's what it's all about. Right there.
That was tell me something good, your buddy, and he
missed the Bobby balls America is right, Hey, tell me

(50:49):
about the Amazon door lock Amy. Okay, Well, it's like
a key pad for your front door that Amazon makes,
and you put it on there, and then anytime you
get a package from Amazon and they delivering it, they
have the code to get inside your house and drop
the box off. So that way they don't have to
leave it on your porch, because you know all the
porch snatchers out there packages and disappearing mysteriously. Well, you

(51:11):
don't don't have to worry about that anymore. So my
friend got it and she uses it, and she says
it's amazing, Like she comes home in her packages are
on her kitchen counter, like ready to go, waiting for her,
on the counter, not just inside the door. Well, I
guess right when you walk in, Like her place isn't
that big, I don't know, she got a counter right there,
and she said the boxes are just waiting for and
it's fabulous. She doesn't have to stress out about anybody
stealing her packages, especially if she's been out of town.

(51:33):
And I'm like, what, so some stranger has a code
to get into your house from Amazon, and then you'll
probably wearing your panties to just you should let her
know whomember that is probably looking at pictures, finding out
what she looks like, wearing her panties, dropping the pic
drop and then leaving. I mean, I don't know. It's

(51:54):
the way of the future, y'all. And I obviously we've
heard that Amazon was doing this. I just have yet
to meet somebody that's actually done it. And my friend
she's all in, what's weird to give someone the code
to your house, especially Amazon, because they don't These people
don't work for Amazon. A lot of times, they're just
people that are working like a contract delivery, like a

(52:15):
contract job. Yeah, I get it, and I'll probably do
it too, But that's a weird speaking of that. So
I was on like apps because I would er some
stuff off Amazon on my phone. But I was ubering
yesterday and I hit Uber and I was getting right
to the radio station and it's set on the bottom
said the name of the person big. His name was
Hector and it is known for great conversation, right, And

(52:38):
I'm like, as I'm talking about I'm about to get
some quality conversation on my ride from my place to
the radio station. So I get in the car. My
ears are ready. I kind of have some witty stuff.
I'm ready to say. It felt like a date almost,
and they get in. It's like about to have the
heck of a conversation in my uber. We get in
and we drive. Hector neversus one word to me, Well,
did you try to initiate He's the one known for

(53:01):
great conversation. I got no great conversation conversation. I was
a little disappointed by that, because I wanted a good
story about how great the conversation was with Hector and I.
He just left you hanging. It was his tagline I
know for Hector. Taking the scenic route is associated with
better mental health, said. He found that people who took

(53:23):
a more scenic route to and from their places, especially work,
we're happier. Researchers found the people whose communes took them
through areas where trees, parks, and other natural settings were
likely to have better mental health. Oh that makes sense
to me. Why well, because I feel like, you know,
when you're with nature, you feel you feel better. People
say that all the time, to be one with the trees.

(53:47):
Who says that all the time. Who are these people?
Your wits be one with the trees. I don't know.
I can see how it is better for you, less
stressful than just sitting in a bump to traffic looking
at buildings. I get so car sick, and I got
places to be. I got time to driving through the part.
I mean, yeah, it's like it's like taking the scenic
rout is stopping to smell the roses, like a metaphor

(54:08):
for life. So Chris Hemsworth, the actor picked up a hitchhiker,
drove him all across town. Hitchhiker did even realize with
Chris Himsworth. Yeah, Chris Hemsworth unexpectedly gave a hitchhiker a
ride on Monday. This musician admitted he did not recognize

(54:28):
the Hollywood actor at first. The backpacker said he just
assumed that it's Thor, which is a normal dude. And
on Monday he was like, hey, man, get in. So
that's pretty cool, huh. I mean the question, Mr Hemsworth,
You're worth a lot of money. What are you doing
picking up a hitchhiker? Maybe just because you make more money,

(54:52):
it doesn't make you less human. Yeah, but like hitchhikers
are scary nowadays, right, like people are scared. One picks
up people on the side of the road with their
thumb out because they're scared. So Mr himpsforth, you have
a lot of money, send them a taxi and pay
for it. Or I don't know. I just think it's
crazy to pick up someone on the side of the
road when you're that famous. Yeah, Bobby, would you pick

(55:14):
up a hitchhiker? I mean famous or not? Like, would
you not a specific hitchhiker? If someone was broken down
on the side of the road and needed to ride,
absolutely I pick him up getting the car. What do
you need? What do you need to go? But I
don't think there are many of that. People are staying
with their thumbs out here. I don't and necessary, No,
I would not pick that person up, but I would

(55:35):
pick up someone who needed help. So yes, I would
do that. Huh, what's up? I just think it's I mean,
it's it's noble of you to do that, and I
think it's great noble. Yeah, like I would. I don't know,
if i'd pull over, I would just call someone be like, hey,
there's someone straighting on the side of the road. Can
you help him out. I mean, it really is crazy.

(55:55):
How hitch I mean lunch Wuk was saying nowadays, but
really hitchhiking was My uncle was in the Navy and
lived on the East Coast, but family was back in
Texas and how he got back and forth was hitchhiking
my parents. Okay, guys, you're talking about like before we
were born. There are a lot of things happening before
we were Yes, times have changed, that's why. Yes, yes,

(56:19):
times of change. It's just weird to think that that's legit,
like that was how it happened before you know, there
was no uber They started horses to Amy. Can you
believe that in town? Yeah? Hey, by the way, I
will be in Moskegon, Michigan, on Friday, November at the
Frown Law Center Bobby Bones Comedy dot Com. It's my

(56:40):
Red Hoodie Comedy Tour, and I'll be in Greensboro, North
Carolina on no I would love to see you guys,
Moskegan and Greensboro, Bobby Bones Comedy dot Com. Come out
my Red Hoodie Comedy Tour. Would love to see you guys.
Amy has an eight year old son. What does he
want to be when he grows up, do you know, well,
he's always a policeman or something like that. And the

(57:03):
other day he finally said a pilot. And I thought
my husband was going to lose his mind because my
husband's a pilot and it would be his dream for
my daughter or my son to become a pilot, or
both of them. That would be probably preferred. So what
did your son say? So we were on a plane
and then something came up about Oh, he was asking

(57:23):
about the fuel on the plane, and he was like,
do we have enough gas? It's like his thing everywhere,
even when we're in a car, Mom, do we have
enough gas? Do we need to get gas? It's like
he's scared we're going to run out. So then he
was asking about the airplane and gas, and then we
were talking about how planes can actually be refueled in
the sky and he couldn't believe it, and that, you know,
my husband and his dad has refueled, you know, thirty

(57:46):
thousand feet or however high up they are with the
with the fuel tanker and you know, you're just kind
of idling in the sky filling up with gas. And
he was fascinated by it. And then we showed him
videos because he didn't believe it could actually happen, and
then once he saw that that was the case, he
was like, I want to be a pilot. I can
do this. I mean when I see those videos of
those planes refilling other planes in the air, I want

(58:07):
to be a pilot. Yeah, it's pretty cool. It's really cool.
So your husband as a pilot, that's pretty cool, right,
refueling in the sky, no having your son go I
want to do what my dad does. Oh yeah, I
mean both of those things. But yes, I mean because
I think I don't know if it's all pilots or
what the deal is, or just because my husband knew

(58:28):
it five years old. I want to be I want
to go to the Air Force academy. I want to
be in the Air Force. I want to be a pilot.
And honestly, he thought he would be in the Air
Force through retirement, but he just ended up getting out early. Uh.
And you know, so this has always been a thing
for him, Like he loves airplanes and loves flying since
he was five years old. So yeah, and his dad

(58:49):
was a pilot, so he kind of want to keep
it in the family. You know, what did you want
to be when you grew up. I don't think I
really knew. I think I always my standard answer when
I was a kid was a veterinarian, but my uncle
was a AT. And then I wanted to go to
Texas A and M like my uncle did, which I
did end up going there, but definitely not a VET.
So you really didn't know. I really didn't know. I
think I gave that answer because I loved animals, but

(59:11):
even when I was in college, I didn't know. Lunchbox,
what about you? What do you want to be when
you grew up? I wanted to be in the Army
because I loved camouflage, and then I moved on to
being an amblance driver, and then I knew you had
to deal with dead people. And then I was like, Okay,
I'm gonna be on the Real World and MTV. So
I had three career paths, they all changed. None of
them happened. Uh, dreams don't come true unless what about you, Bobby, Well,

(59:35):
my dream came true. Not to disagree with, but I
wanted to do this and I wanted to be a
comedian and I wanted to be on TV. That was
since five years old. That's what I wanted to do,
so I've never not known what I wanted to do. Yeah,
I've always been jealous that you and my husband have been.
Y'all are the same in that even though yours was

(59:56):
radio and his was flying Like y'all, y'all knew as
kids and made it happen like there's not many people
at least that I know of. I know, thanks a
lot of MTV. Oh you you their fault. Yeah, they
crushed my dreams. I knew from a little kid that
I wanted to be on the real world and they
never picked me. So I thought she wanted to be camouflage.
Well I did want to be in the army because

(01:00:17):
of camouflage, but then I discovered the real world and
I was like, oh, that's better than the army. Oh,
I would disagree with that one. And you guys got
your new dog, huh. We did finally home with us
and doing so great. I mean, it's crazy having a
dog again because we haven't had one since like I
don't know, February, and the kids are doing so good

(01:00:39):
with her, and at first I was like, oh, what
have I done? You know, you have like a minor
panic attack, especially when she's like not really potty train
and I thought she was. But we're doing good. We're
doing good. So your two kids, have they ever had
a dog even at the orphanage. No, I mean at
the orphanage there was dogs, but they were there to

(01:00:59):
kind of just bark and keep people away and also
eat trash. Like you did not touch them at all
because you just don't even know what they had going
on with their bodies. It's kind of sad. So do
they feel like dogs are gross? Well? No, because the
first few months that they were here, we had our
dog Josie, who I had for eleven years. But then
she got cancer. So they had Josie for a couple

(01:01:20):
of months and they remember, in fact, they kept asking
for her back and I'm like, well, that's that can't happen.
They were asking for your dog to die back. Yeah,
they didn't understand like where she went. And then it
was like, okay, do you know doggie heaven? Um? So yes,
just to put it simply, but they've never lost a

(01:01:42):
pet before. I mean that was very their first few
months in America, and then Josie's like sick and then
she were just getting her used to it them and
them used to her and then she just got her
cancer escalated and it happened so fast. And then yeah,
so this is this is something we've been working towards
for several months now and found a rescue dog that

(01:02:02):
was perfect for us. And I think, I think, I'm
think I'm obsessed. Number One, she doesn't shed, which Josie
shed like crazy, but this new dog her hair, I
like can run my fingers to it and nothing comes out,
So my vacuuming is going way down and it's gonna
be awesome, like my head. Yeah. And then for two, like,
she's just like so cute and precious and I love

(01:02:24):
seeing them want to take responsibility and be like, it's
the time to feed her, should we take her on
a walk? I think it's gonna be really really good
for them, that was my question. And they have chores
with the new dog. Heck, yeah, everybody's in charge. Everybody
is responsible for the dog. But mostly we try to
you know, pawn it off on them, but to teach
them responsibility, not so that we can get out of it.
But I think I think it's going to be really

(01:02:44):
really good for them. And what's the dog's name, Cara?
Oh is that why everyone thinks she named after my
ex girlfriend Kara. Yes, because it's spelled Kara. What you
say at Cara? The kids named her apparently that's Supergirl's name.
Like you know they love their superheroes. Huh oh yeah,
so Superman, you know how he's Clark Kent. Well, Supergirl
is Cara something or another. And they came up with

(01:03:06):
it all by themselves, Like when we were thinking of names,
they were like, what about Cara? I mean, and even
I had to google it and be like what, but
they know and I was like, well, this is your dog,
so go for it. Yeah, And it's so cute and
their little Haitian accents. They're like Cora, Cora the dogs,
Like the dog doesn't know his name yet at all.
It's a girl. It's a guy. Oh sorry, it's a girl.

(01:03:28):
That's a girl. She doesn't know her name yet at all.
So we just kind of yell it and it just
looks at us like we're dumb. But but I do
have a dog whisperer coming, so we'll see. Oh yeah, yeah,
the dog. I llama stop it. When is that happening?
Because I need to update on that as soon as
it happens when on Friday and the dog I Llama

(01:03:51):
says that after two hours in our home, we will
never have to see him again because because he's gonna
take your money and run away and hide. No pile
of stories. So I know lunch Box is obsessed with
the American Express a Black Card, and so I thought

(01:04:11):
it was funny when I read this headline on how
the Black Card began. So Jerry Seinfeld, he was the
reason that American Express created it. He was the spokesman
in the late nineties, and he asked for his own
very special card and they made it for him, gave
him the first Black card. So the black card means
what it's unlimited. Yeah, I mean I think you paid

(01:04:33):
to be or you have to. I don't know what.
I clearly I don't have a Black Card, but you
pay a certain amount to be a Black Card holder.
And then listen to this said to the Samy. They
just handed this to me after paying a seven thousand
five initiation fee. The card comes with annual fee per card.
And then in order to maintain your membership, you're expected

(01:04:56):
to maintain that high level of two spending a year. Yeah,
and you have to pay it off. The average household
income of the card is one point three million dollars. Wow, dang,
I need to get there. But I don't even know
what you get. Oh, you get a black card. Who cares?
It allows you access to pretty much any airport lounge?

(01:05:20):
Who cares? What the places you go like? The sign
says don't take amex hmm, it says, why get the
black card? M I'm reading this is we're going here
if you crave the absolute best perks possible and the attention. Ding. Yeah, whatever,
I have a Southwest card. I'm gonna be honest with you.

(01:05:42):
And that was pretty That was pretty thrilled to get
a Southwest Carolines card because I get points, and I
know Dave Ramsey says, don't wry about points. I'm gonna
buy stuff anyway. And I get three points and I
use them. So that's interesting about the black card. Who knows.
I've seen two two people I know with black cards.
Who one I want to throw the under the bus.

(01:06:02):
But they're both really rich. Look at recognition. Come on,
one athlete, one musician. We'll say that. That's all I
can say. All right, what else? Ammy? Okay, we'll speaking
of money this is a feel good story. There's this
guy named Albert Lexie and he shined shoes at the
Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh for over thirty years. Sadly, you
passed away last week at seventy six. Lived good life.

(01:06:23):
But he's in the news because he always donated his
tips to pay for medical care for under privileged kids
at the hospital. And in the end he donated over
two hundred thousand dollars shining shoes. That's pretty cool, and
that's just like building up to Yes. I mean, that's
someone who, like we sometimes there are stories and I've

(01:06:44):
said off the air, just so people can know what
happens behind the scenes, I said off the air that
I don't really like the stories where someone donates five
million dollars and ends up being a telling me something good,
because I feel like we can't hear that. It's not
attainable for us to kind of inspire us because we go, well,
I don't have five million dollars. But a story like this, yeah,
is something that you can hear and go wow. This
guy just was grinding it and slowly but surely made

(01:07:06):
that that's good. Huh. Over thirty years, just donated his
tips and it added up to make a huge difference,
so it's really special. So Adidas has developed Beavis and
butt Head sneakers. I never watched Bevis and butthead but
I know y'all did, so I guess people are excited
about it. They're coming out November three, just in time
for holiday shopping. If you're into it. Um, there's gonna

(01:07:26):
be images of Beavis and butt Head along with their
favorite gas station snacks nachos, burgers, fries, slurpiees, and large
fountain sodas. That's funny. I like to be Head. I
was in college. Um, I have pizza hut shoes that
you can push the button in order pizza. But I've
never used them. I've been scared to use it. Oh
you need to do that. I just have them. If

(01:07:47):
I win Dancing with the Stars with order pizza with them. Yeah.
By the way, how do we feel? Do we think
I can win? As of today? We had a couple
of days since the last episode. You can go up
or down on this amy, Can I still win this show?
Yes or no? Yes, I've said it every week. You
can win. But do you would think in your head
or your heart? Because that's different. Okay, both, but really,
I'm telling you it's in my heart, it's in my head.

(01:08:10):
You can do this, Eddie. Right now, the judges have
to turn their bad attitudes around against you or whatever
it is. So if it today, you can't win it
today with the judges like that. You've got to change
their minds. Judges are half of it. The people are
half of it. Like, that's why I think that I'm
getting a good amount of votes, because I think I

(01:08:30):
kind of represent normal people. I'm working a full time job,
I'm dancing and not well all the time. But Eddie,
what do you think I am in the rankings overall
as the show ends? I think right now you're still
at three? Okay, and Lunchbox. Can I win the show
and I make the finale though of the top three? No? What?

(01:08:50):
He he gets the lowest score every week, Like I
don't get the lowest score next to low Sorry, that's
not true either, only one week if I've been second
to last. I'm sorry, but listen, guys, don't take offense
to the truth. Like, I know the truth hurts, but
that's what happens now. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't hurt. Um,
I hope that I can make the finale, and I

(01:09:11):
think together as a team, I think I think I
have outside shot to win it, an outside shot to
win it if we all stick together. Yeah, I could
name five people right now that you're better than, and
you can just knock them out. I don't think it's
better than being as a dancer. But but, but this
isn't a dance competition. It's a TV show. It's a

(01:09:32):
voting competition, and the dancing is part of it. You
know what I'm saying. Can I ask you a question?
Go ahead? That Instagram girl is she is hot and
person as she looks on TV. She's pretty. You know,
she's like three. She was crazy about is that she
like broke up with her boyfriend. The next day she
was on TV talking about how much that she may

(01:09:54):
have feelings for her dancing partner. Like the next day, whoa,
I'm not even her exactly how that all should And
I like her. She's nice, she's quiet, daisy with the
stars gossip right now. So so you're saying she broke
up with her boyfriend, Okay, this is I don't know
what really happened, but all I know she had a
boyfriend next thing, you know, she comes in and she
doesn't have a boyfriend. And the next thing I know,

(01:10:15):
there's a package on TV going. I'm not saying no
comment about feelings for my dance partner. And I was like,
well that escalated quickly, so yeah, but she's really nice,
and yeah, she's pretty Okay. I just look at her
Instagram sometimes on my art creepy, I don't know, not
a creepy way. I just want to see if you

(01:10:35):
are voting for not in a creepy way. It's creepy, Okay, Amy,
is that it? Yes? Maybe that's my pile. Well well, well, Amy,
what's going on with you today? Same old, same old.
Probably I guess I need to get get on the
whole costume thing for my kids, So work on that.

(01:10:56):
Do tutoring. That's it. How's the tutoring going. It's great.
I really feel like they're into it now. They were
dreading it for a little bit and now they're like, well,
this is amazing. And then I told you that the
tutor's husband is Haitian. She's white, but he's our American.
Just say that she's like this blonde American and then
he is from Haiti and It's just so perfect because

(01:11:17):
she tutors them and then he kind of comes over.
I think he's going to come over this week and
cook some Haitian food. Oh yeah yeah, which will be
super special. Well, I'm glad they're enjoying the tutoring, like
the learning. It's cool. Yeah, lunch box up of you
O co ed soccer playoffs tonight, Win or go home?
That's it. I mean, this is it, dude. You don't
want to go home. If you win, you stay forever

(01:11:38):
on the field. We'll know you just advance the next round.
I mean, so when you say win or go home,
it's either your season is over or you continue on
the playoffs. Big game, big game? What about you? Let
me guess. Thank you for asking a couple of things.
Actually I have I'm leaving here and going to dance practice,

(01:11:58):
so we get out of here in Central. I will
dance until five thirty, so seven and a half hours,
and then I'm going to watch John Mayor tonight. Whoa
who are you playing at the I Heart Theater and
so I'm gonna go. I mean massive John Mayor fan,
So we're gonna go to that. Are you taking with you?

(01:12:19):
What's up? Think myself. Myself is bad. We're going through
the hills. That's why I say all the time on
the phone here, I'm like, what going through the hills?
Is that what they say in California? Yeah? Yeah, I did.
Everybody is at all time sorry going through the hills
from cutting out, and they never happened to me because
I don't even know what that means. But I was like,
what going through the hills? Huh? Sorry? Going through Yeah? Um,

(01:12:39):
I don't know. Maybe if you watch my answer story,
you may see a little sneak peaky something tonight finger okay,
but with other peaky fingers be it's not. I don't
think it is. But Mr Bobby Bones on my Instagram.
All right, that's it. Thank you, we'll see it tomorrow. Goodbye, everyone,
have a good day. Thank you for listening. By bye,
