Speaker 1 (00:00):
The best bits of the week with Morgan.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's listener Q daytime with Morgan in a show member
answer almost all your questions. It is time for some
listener questions. And if you hear a crazy noise, apparently
there's now constructions. So and as you heard, Eddie's joining me.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
What's up? It's not me. I don't have the drill.
Somebody else does upstairs.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
No, you would have a drill though. You like to
carry your drilling.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I do. I got drill. Not on me though, Like
that's at home unless we're building chairs.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah, it gets brought in for a segment. You know
what's funny though, Now I don't have to build anything.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Oh because you have a boyfriendthing So nice Eddie. Yeah,
I bet it is. So I need a boyfriend to
build all my stuff at home.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Please do this for me. I can literally be like, hey,
I would really like this building. He's like, okay, I
got you. I'm like, yeah, it's so cool.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
So my wife wants us to build like these. She
bought these shelves. Yeah, like shelves that you just put
in the wall.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
So yeah, like little floating shelves.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah yeah yeah. So can you come over and put
those up.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, he loves hangings up. He loves I still.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Haven't met your dude, I know. I mean I saw
him from a distance at CMA fes. Yes, but I've
never met him.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I know you guys do need to meet him.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Does he does he hate us? Does he hates us?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
He talked about on the podcast. He was like I,
He's like, that's their job. Like they can talk.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
About you, thank you, that's our job.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I told you he's very chill. You would very much
like him. He's very unaffected by a lot of things. Okay, good,
My two favorites. We're starting a shout outs. My two faves.
You and Eddie have the best podcast episodes. That's from
Megan and New York. We've got Ruby from Bakersfield, favorite duo.
Not a question. I think you're amazing. Tell Eddie high
and go Cowboys. That's from Stephanie.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
That is cowboy hat on right now. Always love hearing
Eddie's life updates. That's from Emily in Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Do you feel shouted out and loved?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah? Those are great shout outs.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Good, that's always the goal.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I feel great after this.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Will you ever share a picture of your whole family.
If not, why that's from Carolyn and Austin and Nicky
and Florida, the whole family.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Yeah, I'll start with my wife. My wife does not
like to be photographed, like not even posted photographed. It's
just she's always been like that. Like there, I would
say they're probably twenty pictures in total of her entire Yeah,
(02:24):
there's some family and that she's getting. She's gotten better now,
like to take family.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Photosys gotten family photos taken.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, yeah, but like not like a picture of her,
No way, She's like, nope, don't take it, don't want it.
I'm like, hey, do you want a picture of this?
Like nope, don't want it. So she doesn't like pictures.
And then the boys like it's just not it's not
like they're not asked to. They haven't asked to like
be on social media. They don't know what that's like,
you know, they don't. They don't really. I'm sure if
(02:51):
I asked them they'd be like, cool, yeah, let's do it.
But I don't know. I feel like it's our responsibility
to just protect them from all that. And then when
they turn eighteen, which my son's almost there, he'll probably
start posting himself up.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
He's going to say, once he turns eighteen, will you
share any pictures of him.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
If he wants. Yeah, I feel like it's just up
to him.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, you know you've that fur their Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah. But if I asked my six year old, he'd
be like, let's go take a picture of me. But
I'm like, no, you don't. You don't want that.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
He doesn't know what that means and what that comes
with correct until later in his life.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
And honestly, if like I took pictures of my family
and then people said bad things, like it would really
piss me off. Like I don't want that, Like yeah,
because you know people, you know, people always say stuff,
and like I.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Don't want the best intention. People just say things that
it's going to argue because there are people you deeply
care about.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah yeah, these are this is my life. They're my life.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
So like that's just the reason. Like I feel like
it's our responsibility to like keep them from all that.
And when they're older, they'll probably have their own social
media platforms and they can do whatever they want.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
It's me crazy the day that they're all on your
social media because they're all old enough Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
That's years you. People don't understand how many things happen
in my life where I want to be like, oh
my gosh, I wish I could post this, like everyone
would love this. They would get an idea of like
what my life is like, or like what their personalities
are like, which they're all just so hilarious and different
in many ways that I would love. That would be
(04:20):
nothing more in the world that I would love than
to share them on my social media. But like, it's
just not worth it.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Have you ever thought about there's always people that do,
Like you'll see teachers do videos and classrooms and they
just have it on them, but you're getting the whole room.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Of what's happening that I've done stuff like that. It's
just it doesn't translate. Yeah, it's harder, Like there is
there the way they wrestle upstairs and how loud it
is and the things that they're saying is so funny.
I've tried to record a video of just like my
face listening to them, but it just doesn't translate.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, not the same.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
You need to see it, like you need to see
what they're doing, and it's they're their animals. Like they're animals,
and like if people saw the way they wrestled and
the way they threw each other, and like the way
the things that they're saying while they're doing it would
be hilarious. Especially my six year old. My six year
old would be social media gold. Everything he does would
be social media gold.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I mean you could always ask him and do, like,
what's that kid that's like the biggest YouTuber Ryan?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, the Ryan's toys that you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
H So, like you could set him aside, create his
own bank account. It all goes to him.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, he would do it. He would one hundred percent
and do it. But no, we just we just we
just don't do it.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
That's fair.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
It's better for that.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
As somebody who's on social media, I get it. I
respect anybody's choice with social media because it's a monster
all on its own.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
And it's challenging though too, because people love to be
like where's your family they're taking the picture? Like yeah,
you know, like I get it all the time, like
where's your wife? She's actually right next to me, just
not in the picture, you know, But like people don't
understand that. It really looks like I love a single life.
It really does.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Also, everybody has to do what feels good to them, Yeah,
because if you're doing things that don't feel good to you,
then it's also not going to come across good, right
Like you you have to at the end of the
day be okay with what you're doing. Yeah, and that's
your choice.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, And I'm very okay with what we're doing exactly.
And even like the cooking videos, like my kids shoot those,
all of them. They all shoot the cooking videos. So
like even the six year old, he'll be like, all right,
just hold it here, like, yeah, don't move it, just whatever,
do don't move and.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
He'll he'll be a family affair, it really is.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah. Yeah, they're all behind the scenes. See there you go.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Now people will know when they're seeing the content.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
If it's a little crooked, you know who shot that one?
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Don't put that on then that's probably yours. What is
the best thing you've cooked on your blackstone? My having
needs some inspiration. That's from gin.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Ooh gosh, there's so many good things that I've cooked
on the blackstone.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Man.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
That's a good question, I think, Oh gosh, that's such
a good question. Guys. It's endless the things you can
cook on the Blackstone is so endless.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
It's it's like you got a narrow it down.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Give me your top three you cook right?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Okay, so like you have a you cook on the
stove top. Yeah, you have a saucepan. Yeah, like that
you cook stuff in imagine one the size of this
table and you can put whatever on it.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
It is true. You have a lot of opportunity. That's
the adventure.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
That's the Blackstone. It's freaking anything anything, a pizza.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
But what's your favorite to cook on? Like what always
tastes really good when you cook on?
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Okay, okay, my favorite is a hibachi? Okay, that's my
favorite because the Blackstone is like you're at hibachi, like
you're at one of those restaurants.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
You try and do the tricks.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I've tried, but I'm not good. Man. I really want
to know how to do the volcano on fire. Yeah,
I just don't know what they put in there. Please
if anyone knows, please hit me up d MS or
hit Morgan.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
It's it's an onion.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
What's in there to make it get on fire?
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Man? I'm pretty sure? Like, what's the stuff that you
put on a fire to make it light.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
You're gonna put charcoal lighter in there and then eat
the ia.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
There's a food version of that. I would bet there's
a food grid version.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I think there is. I haven't. I haven't gotten gone
down that road to like order on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
I'm gonna start doing some research. While you're talking about
your favorite black soam.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, yeah, I would go hibachi. Hibachi. You got like
chicken steak, shrimp with the mixed vegetables in it, and
then fried rice. Oh man, fried rice is just so.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Good to make on that Oh yeah, that sounds good. Okay. Oh,
it's pouring cooking oil inside the onion stick to act
as fuel and then squirting a high alcohol liquor like
vodka on the top of the oil to ignite it.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Okay, that's what it is. That's what I'm missing.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
But then does that mean you're kids canting it because
it has vodka? No.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
A lot of stuff, A lot of stuff has You
can you can do like drunken beer, chicken, you can
do where you can do rum marinated whatever, whiskey, marinate whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
When you cook it, it all.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Just evaporates out of there.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
I've thought about that.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Well, there you go.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Vodka, I'm doing that.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
So you just do oil. Yeah, and vodka or.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Vodka. We gotta do cheap vodka. Can't do the good stuff.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Whatever is the high alcohol content one? So yeah, like uh,
ever Clearer?
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah yeah, yeah, whatever's in a plastic bottle.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Although I don't feel like that one's going to evaporate
out for some reason. I just feel like that's going
to stick around you.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Ever Clear is brutal. I can't believe we drank that stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, we putself in our bodies.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah. Would you ever do the watermelon?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
A watermelon?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Oh? Yeah, where you like buy a watermelon and you
poke a hole in it and then you just pour
ever Clear in it and then put it in the freezer.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Know, how do you consume that?
Speaker 1 (09:25):
You slice the watermelon up and then you come back
out eat it, and then you eat it.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Did it taste like ever Clear? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
And a watermelon that sounds disgusting. It tastes like watermelon
with ever Clear in it.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Like ever Clear, you just want to throw back and
you don't want to think about it.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
I know, but but but the watermelon makes it taste
like a watermelon, but it messes you up.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
I bet that'd be really good with a really nice vodka.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Probably a more mild vodka. Yeah, yeah, like that would probably.
And you know the last time I did that spring break, man,
like we weren't buying nice vodkas spring Break. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I never did a watermelon. We did a lot of
We drink out of bathtubs and stuff.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
But juice.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
The juice that.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
We did it in trash cans. But even then, like, well,
trash can.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Wash it out. I'm like, it's not washed. How is
your four O one K going? This is from Jackie,
New York.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Jackie, you haven't started that yet, but I'm going to.
I promise, I'm going to. I just have to get
with my wife and figure out how much we can
afford to move over.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Do you guys have savings?
Speaker 1 (10:26):
We do have savings, but yeah, we have savings.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
We just progress and I thought you had.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah we have, we have. We have a little bit
of savings, but it it's just our day to day
is so structured with money financials that we really have
to and we do have extra that we could put aside,
and I think we just have to figure out how
much that is. That that way we don't screw ourselves
over on the day to days. Do you know what
(10:55):
I mean? Okay, yeah, because it's pretty tight. It's pretty tight.
Our our house is pretty tight financially.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Okay, Well, we'll be waiting for updates.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Everybody is yes, I know, I know. I'm going to
do it though, I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Okay, We're gonna take a quick break and we'll be
right back, all right. The big question, Eddie, the big one.
Did you listen to the podcast with Morgan's boyfriend and
have you apologize about the shady through about taking Morgan's
dog on vacation. That's from a man.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oh, I haven't apologized. There's no reason to apologize. Do
do I need to apologize? I haven't done anything to apologize.
It's all it's like your boyfriend says, what we do
for a living, it's our job.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, he did say. He said, I think once they
meet me, they'll just realize that I'm just a dude
and I just really care about you, and they won't
care and it'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Do we already think that?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Like?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I already think that. Like, but it's funny. It's funny.
You got to understand it's funny to make fun of
you about the dogs.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
I'm fine, I'm just really question more importantly.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Did you listen to the podcast?
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Have not?
Speaker 1 (11:52):
I have not, And to be fair, I don't listen
to a lot of podcasts, so I have not listened
to that podcast. I've seen clips, but I haven't listened
to the whole podcast. But I mean I want to
meet him, Like, yeah, I want you to meet him.
I want to I want to meet him, like bring
him around? Bring don't bring him around.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'm not bringing to bring him around?
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Like where could we meet?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Like?
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Where could we never go to any of the events.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
That's what makes it hard because we're going to go
to Keith Urban this weekend. I don't know if you're
going to that? What you probably didn't check your email?
Speaker 1 (12:22):
No, And I just I just picked up my phone
to see if I got that email, which I probably did.
So let me ask you about that. Are people just
going to Keith Urban now because Keith Urban like is
divorced or like they could be because like I feel
like I've never heard of anyone going to a Keith
Urban concert.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Okay, you can't say that about me, though I've been
saying he's like one of my favorite entertainment.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
You've always sad that You've always said that.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I've loved him.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
I would love to go to Keith Urban this weekend Saturday.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Yeah, well Friday night.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Okay, so probably not.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
I'm not going to see him there.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Probably not going to I know.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
That's the hard part is like because he's met he
met Lunchbox very briefly when we played in the softball game.
They like get a lot of time to spend together.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
You didn't take it into the pumpkin patch.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
No, he was working.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Oh you know what is he know what he does?
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, he talked about it on the podcast.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Okay, so have to listen. Just tell me, just tell
me what.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
He's a sales manager. He sells golf carts. He does
mm hmm, and he loves it. He gets to play
golf all the time he can do.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Can he give me a deal on a golf cart?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yeah? He loves selling him.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Because, like I've seen families with golf carts, it looks
like a lot of fun.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Oh yeah, around thee I can go over there, there's
like thousands of golf carts and he'll just like take
me on rides through play golf. Yeah. He loves golf.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
We should play golf.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
You could do that.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Maybe maybe we can take them to play golf.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Who are saying we?
Speaker 1 (13:42):
I don't know. I figured that out.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
What would in from of you?
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Would you allow him to play golf with us?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah? I would approve.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
He's not like like if it was just me in lunchbox. Yeah,
maybe it was just me and Bobby. There's no way,
there's no way. There's no way I might take it
back from all of you.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
I don't think I want you guys around him without
be involved.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
What do you mean? Babysity would know he's a man
like hen and can take care of himself.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
He would be perfectly fine. I would be the one
who'd be like.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
What is four hours you're worried about?
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Like what are they possibly saying to him?
Speaker 1 (14:16):
And then our six he's still not home yet, You're like,
what is going on?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
And he'd probably be like be back and be like
that was so much fun.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
I'm like really, And we stayed after, had a few drinks. Deal, Like,
we talked.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
He is like him and my brother in law have
like literally talked to each other on the phone half
the time.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Talk about their projects, they're working on and stuff like
he'll they'll consult on things they're doing.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
See, that's that's important. That's important because like families that
like or you know, like boyfriends or girlfriends whatever that
you're thinking about marrying them, and then they don't get
along with your family, Like it's a problem.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
It is.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
It is the fact that they're so he's able to
talk to not even like your sister, like your brother
in law. That's that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Oh yeah yeah, and that's what out us Like Taylor
and I aren't even involved, Like how do you guys
even exchange numbers?
Speaker 1 (15:05):
How did they I.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Think they're talking on Instagram?
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Really?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Yeah, Well because it all started because they were splitting
the YouTube TV because they wanted to do the big
sports thing that's on there, Sunday Ticket. Yeah, and I
was he was like, yeah, I was texting with your
brother in law and I was like.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
What, So, so what did they do they split it?
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah? Because I have his YouTube TV account on my
TV and my boyfriend saw that and he's like, do
you have I was like, do you think I have
Sunday Ticket? I don't watch football and he and I
was like, but it's my brother in law's account, and
he's like, well, I'll tex him and we'll buy it together.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yeah. Like okay, but but you can't. Oh maybe you
can on YouTube. I don't know. On the one I have,
you can't share.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah they do. Okay, there it works right now. How's
I discrewed it for us?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Maybe? How's that? How's that going?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
The what?
Speaker 1 (15:48):
The football?
Speaker 2 (15:50):
It's a it's a change for me.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
But do you like it?
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah? I are? You?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Starting to enjoy watching football a little bit?
Speaker 2 (15:55):
I enjoy watching it with him because he's he has
like his team, was it Steelers? Yeah? Yeah, and he
has like a cool family connection to all of it,
like can he loves like it's such a it's a
big part of his life. So it's like fun to
be part of it because of how much he loves it.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, and he.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Plays fantasy and he does all those other things. But
he's not like someone who like will put it on
if if stuff's going on. But he's not somebody who's
like I have to watch every game.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
But he has to watch the Steelers though.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Steelers is always the one. And that's like I'm like
I can handle that. But if you were going to
tell me, I had just been Thursday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday
watching sports, I'd probably be like this is this is
tough for me.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yeah overkol.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah, but like I love I love the balance. It's
perfect and he's happy.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
That's tough. I wonder if he's wanting to watch more.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Well. I always tell him to put it on, like
if we're if it's a Thursday or I mean, we're
not doing it.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
So the Thursdays are fun. Thursday, Sunday night and Wednday
night shouldn't be a problem because those are just that's
like nighttime.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah, I'm like you people.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Were doing dinner, Like you can just have the game
on yep. But the problem is, like the problem I
have too is like I want to watch Saturday all day.
I want to watch Sunday all day. So that's a problem,
like gonna be like you're gonna be sitting in front
of the TV all day. I'm like, yeah, you know
how it is.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
I was like, no, we gotta have a life, a
little bit of life outside of football, right, But if
we're not doing anything and we're just hanging out, I
don't care.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
You can put it on.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
And he tells me about all his bets in his
fantasy and I always like help him.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Does he do you ever pick bets for him?
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah? I have. That's fun, Yeah, because he'll do big
ones where it's like a bunch of them.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
He has to hit a bunch of things Harley's does
he does he cut you in on the wind? I'm
sure he hasn't wont him yet he has.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
He's it's so crazy. He'll be like, he'll get all
eight out of nine. He's like, it's happening, and then
he'll be like five minutes.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Later, just Morgan, Morgan, I've done this whole like I've
done that. You know how many of those I've missed thousands?
And my wife's always like, stop saying you almost hit it.
You always say you almost hit it, and I'm like,
but I did almost hit.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
It, But it doesn't count to get eight out of night.
I've learned to get eight out of nine. Say you
do nine or it's impressive to get eight of those
things happening in completely different games with completely different players,
and you're really just guessing what's happening pretty close to
hitting it.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
It's impressive, but you know what, you didn't get nine,
so you didn't win.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
I know, y that sucks.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
You know, it's crazy one one week, I got them
all wrong. I'm like, that's better than getting them all right.
Like I can't believe that happened.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Like I should make money off of that.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, I got it, got it all wrong. It was
all red red red red, red red mix. I missed
like ten of them.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
See that's so so fun to me, Like I love that.
I like that there's games and he still makes snacks
for me, which makes it fun for me, and.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
He like presents it to you in his life end
or whatever.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, And it's my favorite thing because it just it's
created a fun environment for sports really because mine comes
from working at Buffalo Wild Wings for so long. I
had to watch sports all day every day my entire
four and half names and you were watching it. It
was just on yeah, and it was just you just
deal with so many different fans and like I just
had such a like I don't know, I just needed
a break from all of that. And that's why now
(18:50):
it's like he's kind of made it more fun again
in my life.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Yeah, we're like that too, Like the cow when the
Cowboys play, Like that's the one we all must be
in front of the TV and watch. And like, my
wife understands that Scott was game. What time is Is it
noon on Sunday or is it at three o'clock on Sunday?
Or is it the night game or is it Monday night?
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Okay, we can.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Schedule around that game everything else. She's like, no, we're
doing We're doing something else.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, and that's that's very much.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
I think it's fair.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yeah. I'm like, we will make sure every time at
the very least, like you have to be watching that.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Game, except for playoffs, playoffs and Super Bowl. Like obviously
it changes a little bit.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
We haven't got there yet.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Playoffs are going have to watch more games.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Okay, I'm working on it. Okay, Uh Hawaii, Rex will
end on this one.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Hawai recommendations.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Yeah, oh we got just in Massachusetts. She's going for
her honeymoon in January to Maui and Honolulu.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Yes, you're gonna love it. Oh my gosh, I want
to prepare you for Honolulu. Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii.
It is a city on an island. It's like going
to Chicago. There's there's skyscrapers, there's high rises, but you're
by the beach, so like, don't that one is probably
(20:02):
my least favorite because you still feel like you're in
the city. Lots of people. But if you're on Oahu,
which is where Honolulu is, get a car, if you're
renting a car, whatever or uber. The island's not that big.
Go to the north shore. The north shore is the
other side of the island. That's where the big surf is.
That's where a lot of times they have surf competitions
(20:23):
going on. Oh and they have like a good shaved
ice place, and they just locals are all over there
and it's so freaking cool. So the north Shore, why
may obey all that stuff's over there.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Okay, that's a pro tip.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Yeah, so that's cool. And then Maui is just legit.
The whole island is so cool. The Road to Hanna,
which I didn't really get to do when we got married,
but everyone, my whole family went like, we got married
and then we left for our honeymoon, and then they
did the road to Hanna and they said that was
really beautiful.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
I can echo that too, because my family did Road
to Hannah. Okay, it was one of my favorite things.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
There isn't one person that says that it was terrible.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Yeah, you have views the whole time.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
They said that, like the windy roads kind of make
you a little nauseous.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Oh yeah, well, and there's moments where it's like you
can fall off a cliff because you're sharing the road
with people coming the other way. There's not a lot
of road.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
That's what I've heard. Yes, the snorkeling is amazing, Like
just by snorkeling gear there when you get there, snorkel, snorkel, snorkel, like,
you'll see so many amazing things, the turtles. I saw
a huge poka dotted sting ray the day, the day
of my wedding, so the day we were getting married,
like I think at three o'clock, so like at noon,
I went just by myself snorkeling, and like I would say,
(21:35):
it was probably like twenty feet deep at the very
bottom was the biggest sting ray I ever seen in
my life, and it was just all by itself down there.
It's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
That's so cool. That was probably a cool sign for
your marriage too.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Right, I don't know what that sign was, but it
was the coolest thing I ever seen me see. Oh,
here we go, do you see a sting ray poka
dotted Okay, it was like it was like black with
white polka dots.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah, because that's definitely different than a regular sting right.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Yeah, it was beautiful and it was humongous.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Let's see, we'll see if it comes up with anything. Okay,
generating Okay. In folklore and spiritual tradition, seeing a sting
ray on your wedding day can be interpreted as a
powerful sign for a happy and well guided marriage, thank God,
because sting rays move gracefully but are also well defended.
They're also said to symbolize balance, adaptation, and emotional wisdom.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Polka dots at a unique layer because the exact interpretation
is considered personal to the couple and can be a
reminder to trust your inner voice as you begin your
new life together.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Okay, well, I wish I would have known that when
when we got married.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
You look that up.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Yeah, I was just like, that's so cool, and I
followed it for a little bit.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
And then what's crazy too, is my wife we weren't
supposed to see each other that day, right, because like,
you don't see each other the day of the wedding,
but she saw me snarkling. She was like, I'll never forget.
Like I looked out of the balcony and I saw
you snarkling. That's probably when I was watching the sting ray.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
That sounds like the perfect wedding day. It was pretty amazing,
you guys and small.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Very small. We were probably like thirty minutes late because
who cares.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, you know, that's perfect, that's perfect.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I think we're late because the cameraman was late, like
one of the camera guys is late. But we're like,
it's fine. Yeah, we're all here anyway.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Just chillin. Yeah, I will add two for the Maui list.
We did Haleakala the volcano. We did a sunrise bike
ride up there and it was the coolest thing. Yeah,
you start at like three am because you're going up
the volcano to see the sunrise at the very top
and you're above the clouds.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Oh that's cool and it's.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Like one of the prettiest of my life.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
I've never like. That sounds amazing.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah, I mean we've only been to Maui and it
could be a different volcano that I'm thinking of, but
I'm pretty sure it's Halayakana. If I'm even saying that correctly.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
It sounds right. I will say too. Back in Oahu,
just outside of Honolulu, there's diamond Head. Oh yeah, we
hiked diamond Head. Hiked diamond Head. It's really cool. It's
it's it's nice because you're not far away from your hotel,
and it's it feels like you're like on a I
don't know, in a tropical rainforest.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah. Now, he's just I mean, you're not going to
find anything that's not going to be ever.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
All of it so freaking cool. I would go back
today if I could.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Hey, that's where you'd part one ers, that's where you
would move and I.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Don't know, I mean retire in Hawaii. I feel like
I need a lot of money. Hey, unless unless you
just work.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
At the bar, you know exactly, you have a little
tika hut good, it would be good.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
God, that'd be so cool.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Okay, go listen to part one if you want another reference.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Yeah, yeah, to know what we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
All right, Eddie, I took enough of your time.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
That was great. We can we stay here another hour?
I love it.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
We always talk for a very long Okay, Well tell
the people where they can find you.
Speaker 1 (24:42):

more and more so follow me on TikTok like you're

Speaker 2 (24:49):

let them cook.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Oh yo, let him cook. I'm about to cook, y'all.
That's what my kids say.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Oh my gosh. We have to leave now.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
My kids like, man, I'm about to cook.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
You like, okay, we must leave because I'm not sure.
