Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Minnesota Vikings have a quarterback controversy, and I'm going
to explain to you why there's a secret, behind the
scenes component to this Jj McCarthy Carson Wentz thing. But
first I need to tell you about zero Riz carpet
cleaning because right now it's bookie season and they have
a special offer three carpets cleaned for only one hundred

(00:24):
and twenty nine dollars. You got chocolate bar on your carpet,
Go to zero Resminnesota dot com. Tell them you heard
about it from the brawl with Tim Paul and get
three carpets cleaned for only one hundred and twenty nine dollars.
Zero risk. But a flowers are backwards. That spells the same.
There is a secret component to this Minnesota Vikings quarterback situation,

(00:47):
a component that I have not seen discussed anywhere else
up until this point. The Vikings play the Eagles out
of the bye week, and the Eagles have a mini
bye week going into that Vikings. What is not being
discussed is the imagery of what could happen if Jaj

(01:08):
McCarthy plays against the Philadelphia Eagles. You are a fool
if you don't think the image of jaj McCarthy struggling
against the Philadelphia Eagles is in play with this quarterback controversy,
because the last thing the Vikings want to do is

(01:29):
take their quarterback who struggled in the first two games
of the season and put him out against a highly
talented Super Bowl winning defense. Yes, it's out of the
bye week, but McCarthy hasn't played football or practiced in weeks.
If McCarthy sucks against the Eagles, which is highly likely,

(01:51):
the public perception of the Vikings organization and Jaj McCarthy
is going to be really, really bad. And I think
that's the last thing the Vikings want to do is
answer questions about why Jaj McCarthy sucked ass against the

(02:12):
Philadelphia Eagles, which controversy is less of a controversy. You
sit Jajon McCarthy one more week because he's not ready,
or you play McCarthy he stinks against the Eagles, and
then you're left wondering if you should start. Carson Wentz,

(02:33):
I've seen a lot of well, you just need to
see what you have in Jaj McCarthy. Well, I would
argue that if you put Jaj McCarthy out against the Eagles,
you are setting him up for failure. His last performance
he was terrible against the Falcons, and his first start
he was bad for three quarters against the Chicago Bears.

(02:57):
Practice squad defense. You don't even know what you want.
I can go inside the mind of a fan, because
I am a fan. I'm just the most objective fan
in the world. If the Vikings start Jajon McCarthy and
he sucks, you are going to change your mind so
fast and say put in Carson Wentz, McCarthy's not ready,

(03:19):
faster than you would nut during sexual intercourse five seconds. Seriously,
if the Vikings start McCarthy and he's bad for the
first half, which is the most likely scenario, you are
going to be pointing at the Vikings organization and pointing
at McCarthy calling him a bust because that's how fans react.

(03:43):
Why not sit McCarthy versus the Eagles, give him an
extra two weeks to get ready to play the Detroit Lions.
I think that's the day the Vikings are aiming for.
What's so interesting about all of this is that we
should be clamoring for JJ McCarthy to come back on

(04:06):
the field for the Vikings so that he can take
the Viking season from where it is right now to
the next level. But because he was so bad in
seven of eight quarters, we're like, showed the Vikings start
McCarthy or Carson Wentz. McCarthy was so bad inaccurate throws,
slow processing, not reading the field that we are left

(04:30):
wondering if the Vikings should delay McCarthy's injury and stick
with Carson Wentz. It should be so obvious to us
that McCarthy is that guy, and it's really not. We're
debating if Carson Wentz six teams and six seasons, Carson
Wentz should start over the tenth overall pick JJ McCarthy

(04:53):
because McCarthy has not shown us really anything besides one quarter.
I'm not calling McCarthy a bust, but I think you
find it interesting that we're actually debating this quarterback situation.
What a debate itself tells us about how McCarthy has
performed this season. If you need your bathroom remodeled, you
