that confirms my decision to leave them out. That confirms
my decision that, hey, they don't have the class to

do you think playing in a ball game dominating your
opponent and let's say James Madison gets roasted, do you
think that might make the committee think to itself, hmm,
maybe we made a mistake not letting Notre Dame in.

and the conclusion is, yeah, I guess you don't deserve
to be in it if you can't handle failure with class.
I'm sure Notre Dame football has NFL players on their
roster that will go on to the next level and play.

least several that want to play one more football game.
And let's just be honest about this. They lost to
Miami the first game of the year by a field goal.

the head to head matchup and Notre Dame lost the
head to head matchup. The committee made the right decision
and Notre Dame is handling this situation.

all those things. You can still be angry and frustrated,
you can still be upset by the committee's decision. But
here's what you also can do. You can separate the two.
You can be angry, frustrated, disappointed, and upset, but also
still suit up to play in a bowl game, to

allow your seniors to play one more football game for
a program that they sweat blood and tears for. But no,
you're gonna make it about yourself because you think it's
not fair. This was an opportunity to show perseverance through

a situation that you didn't really like that unfolded. But
what you could have done is look yourself in the
mirror and said, yep, I get it.
