Buck Sexton is joined by Sean Davis to break down the media’s attempted gaslighting over Biden’s cognitive decline. They expose journalists like Jake Tapper for playing dumb now that Biden’s out, despite years of covering for him. Buck and Sean argue the media knew the truth all along and only turned on Biden once he was no longer useful.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Is the media's project gas lighting on Joe Biden's dementia
going to work. Let's talk to somebody who is not
easy to pull one over on, as our friend Sean
Davis from The Federalist co founder of the Federalist Great website,
Sean I. Tapper is going around. You know, I'm just

(00:41):
gonna say this. I said it on radio. I'll say
it here. Snuck into my DMS, like I don't know
what you've been saying about my book, but like we
should have the right to come on.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I'm like, well, I think you do know what I've
been saying.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Because you're saying that, you know, you should come on
the radio show to refute it. But anyway, very very tapper,
passive aggressive.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You have to love this. They really think they're gonna
get away with this.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
They're gonna do the whole We're gonna lie about the
dementia thing, not just for the election for four years,
and now we're gonna tell you, oh, maybe we should
have caught it.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
He's amazing, like he Thankfully he stopped sliding into my
dms several years ago, but I love to hear he's
still doing that. It used to be that he would,
uh during commercial breaks, he'd get into his in Twitter
and be looking at who said mean things about him,
and he'd scold him in their direct messages. But no, look,
Tapper was patient zero for the nonsense that Biden was

(01:33):
totally fine, that he was fit as a fiddle, strong
as he's ever been. So for him to now be
acting like, oh he was duped, you know, he poor
Jake Tapper was so misled, And then now he's going
to tell the real story, Like, if you were so
stupid is to buy the nonsense from Biden's staff that
oh no, no, he's totally fine, he's at the top

(01:54):
of his game. You need to find a new job.
You're too dumb to be a journalist, which is amazing
because you don't actually have to be smart to be
a journalist. But if he fell for that, he's too
stupid for this industry. And if he didn't fall for it,
he was complicit in it. And I mean, he can
go take a long walk off short Pier. As far
as I'm concerned.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
What do you say to people who are who are
trying to also pull this though, they say, oh, but
Alex Thompson was really on this and he was really honest.
I mean, I guess I'm kind of shading the question
a bit with my voice there, but I mean, I'm
look at this, I'm like, no, he didn't, he wasn't.
I if somebody remember when Dasha Burns pointed out that
that fetterman like couldn't speak and that his brain was

(02:34):
was at the time like mushy, and and everyone was like,
how dare you?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
And this is awful?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
And they even tried to say that she was picking
on a disability or something like the guy guy can't
speak like I anyway, if one Democrat, whether it's Alex
Thompson or some other journal had come forward and said
when it mattered, hey, guys, Joe Biden really does have
dementia and and I've got sources that have spoken to me,
no one did this.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Like why are we going to pretend that someone no
one did it?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
No, they didn't do it. They were lying to us
the whole time. We all know it, Like what and
we didn't have to do this, like deeply sourced reporting
and and you know, deeply embedded sourcing. You just had
to watch the guy. Okay, he was cooked. He was
cooked five years ago when he ran the first time.
We all saw it. And what I find so interesting

(03:24):
about the little game they're playing now, if they truly
believe that they were duped, If poor widow Jake Tapper
thought he was being duped and lied to, you have
a responsibility is to burn everyone who lied to you.
And that's not what he's doing because there are no names.
We're not being told who lied to him. We're not
being told who was spreading around this idea that Biden
was fine. We're not told who was actually president. Because

(03:47):
here this is like where the rubber meets the road.
If Biden's brain was cooked and was like pure pudding,
is we all know it was, It means he wasn't
actually executing the off the office of the presidency. It
means somebody else was. So who was it who was
telling Biden to sign all these pardons? Who was running
the auto pin, who was like, you know, launching missiles

(04:08):
and stuff. It wasn't Biden. But but they won't do that.
And the reason they won't do that is they don't
actually care. This is all a game Number one. They
have to give back credibility that they lost, and Biden's
no longer useful to him and there's no political risk
to the Left for saying that he was a vegetable,
So they're trying to throw him overboard now that they
no longer need him, in this desperate ploy to make

(04:29):
it look like they have their credibility back, and they're
telling you the truth so that they can lie to
you the next time they have some stupid hopes they
want to run.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Well, you know, I also have a problem with it.
I have so many problems with this. I also have
a problem with his though, Sean, because the notion that
Joe Biden, you know, the quote that I've been seeing
for everybody is I was a pluf Please, David Ploff
is saying Joe Biden bleeped us, and we all figure
what that is by staying in And to this point,

(04:56):
I say, no, no, no, no. Hold on a second,
they all knew that Biden had the problems that he did.
They thought that he was a better shot than Kamala
as long as they could cover it up. It's not
that Biden screwed over. It's that Biden couldn't get through
the debate without looking like a vegetable. They made it,
you know. To me, it's like they made a calculated decision.

(05:18):
They tried to you know, it's like they're burglars and
they broke in to steal the diamond necklace. They got caught,
and now they're like, oh, I didn't know that this
belonged to somebody else.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah you did. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I love this story that somehow like they had no
ability to pick who they wanted to run for president.
You know, imagine a world where you have every four
years a contest within each party, where you have whoever
wants to run for president run and then people vote
for him. We could call it a primary, you know.
They they did that. Okay, Obama cleared the decks for

(05:51):
Biden in twenty twenty because he thought he was the
best chance to beat Trump, and then they did the
same crap again in twenty twenty four. So they box
everyone out who's going to be a threat, which is
why RFK, by the way, ends up going and moving
over to Trump. RFK was running for president, is a Democrat,
and they iced them out. They didn't even give them
secret Service protection. This idea that somehow like Joe Biden

(06:12):
screwed them. No, they screwed themselves. Okay, they played themselves.
But he said. One thing that I think is true
that they were claiming is that they thought Biden, before
everyone knew that he was cooked, would be better than Kamala.
By the way, they were right about that. Yeah, and
they were right about that after the debate, Biden wouldn't
have done as poorly as as Kamala. Harriston, I think

(06:35):
they make you massive mistake.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Clay and I Clay, and so you know, I was
on the side of that Biden's not going to drop
because it would be insane for him to drop because
Kamala is worse. And Clay took the other side of
that debate, or rather of that of that bet and
ended up winning, which I just think. I think it's
still so unfair because my premise was the Democrats understood
the electorate well enough to know that Kamala was electoral

(06:57):
poison and that even dementia, Joe out of nostalgia and
name recognition and the incumbency, was a better shot than
she was, and they decided to pull this switcherru at
the last moment, and they then had to bear the
consequences of it. You know, elections do have consequences.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Sean, Yeah, dude, I'm I'm team buck on that one.
And in the piece of evidence I would use is
the teamsters poll. So they did a poll of rank
and file teamsters before Biden dropped out, and then after
he dropped out, and it was Kamala Harris still in
who was in instead of him. She fell among teamsters,
which are mostly working class white men. She fell like

(07:37):
thirty points. Biden still had a majority of him like now,
it was a thin majority, but he was still winning
the teamsters. As soon as she was in, like white
men were done. They were done with Democrats and Harris
and Trump was gonna win regardless just because of all
the macro dynamics and everything that was happening going on.
If Biden had been in, he would have lost. He

(07:58):
wouldn't have lost every single swing state. So I love
that Democrats engineered this coup against him just to do
worse than they would have done if they just left
him in. Like, well, they deserved everything.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
That kepn gah, That's what I keep telling everyone. You do
not feel sorry for the to deserve all of this.
This is justice, This is the this is the universe,
you know, balancing itself and the force moving in ways
that it should.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
And I would just say this too.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It doesn't strike me, Sean as at all implausible they
could make such a horrific miscalculation as they did.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
I mean, the mar Lago raid was an.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Insane idea insane idea in retrospect, right. They thought, we
raid his home. He's a criminal, he'll you know, he'll
he'll never be able to win an election again, and
we're gonna lock him up instead. They essentially made their no.
You know, it was like Trump is the guy, total
consolidation behind him, and he smoked their candidate. Israel is

(08:50):
still under attack. There's been missile fire, and there's been
all kinds of threat from the terrorists in the region
against the Jewish state. The reality in Israel is that
parents are still having to worry about taking their children
to school. They still have to worry about the next
siren blaring, The next attack could happen at any moment.
This is why we have partnered with the International Fellowship

(09:12):
of Christians and Jews to help provide life saving aid
and security essentials. Your urgently needed gift will help provide
security essentials like bomb shelters, flack jackets, and bulletproof vests
for first responders, armored security vehicles, ambulances, and more. Join
me in standing with Israel. Call to make your gift
at eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight

(09:32):
eight eight four eight eight four three two five, or
online at support IFCJ dot org to give one word
support IFCJ dot org.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Yeah, it's they did these like series of escalating double
downs where you know, he's just running. They thought J
six took him out, so you know, they impeach him
and they're like, okay, we didn't throw him out of office,
but he's done, like we've discredited him, and he was
still hanging around. They're like, all right, maybe we just
like raid his home and say he was selling classified secrets.

(10:04):
And that didn't work. So at that point, instead of
just being like, all right, you know this, it's gotten
a little rich to us for us, we're gonna fold no,
they go and arrest the guy, and then after arresting him,
they get him convicted. And then when that didn't work,
they're like well, hell, I guess we're just gonna have
to shoot him. And then that didn't work, and then
they're like, well crap, I uh, I don't know what

(10:25):
we're gonna do at this point.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
It's it.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Every opportunity they had to stop being idiots, they just
double down. So they deserved all of it. They deserve
every last bit.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Now, now I want to ask you about this, Sean.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
The d NS so so David Hogg has emerged as
the the vice He's the vice.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Chair of the Danceries. He's the chairman of the DNS.
He's a vice chair, right, No, he's the chairman. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
No, he's like some kind of vice chair. I don't
know what.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yeah, he is, okay, but mister Hogg, oh yeah, he's sorry.
He's the vice chair. And there's a second vice chair.
That's why I'm getting confused. Okay, he's vice chair of
the DNC. This guy's twenty five years old. He is
not a smart person.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
And the he went to Harvard.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I know, we don't know what that means.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
He's not a smart person, but he he came out
and said something along the lines of and I can
something like, you know, the Democrats became the party man
of like you can't just like, you know, hang out
with girls and drink and like have fun and well,
you know it's not exactly Aristotle.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Like, Yeah, I mean that's actually true.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
They're they're in the process of ousting him now, and
I know they're saying it's because he lacks like a
diversity quotion or something. There's some issue with that, but
they're there. I think it's part of he just said
something you're not allowed to say the DNC.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Have you seen this.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
They're they're taking a they've already taken a vote to
begin the procedure to have a revote on who the
DNC vice chair is. And he's supposed to be like
their normal guy that they can normal young guy they
can rally around.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
These people are insane.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Well, I love that he was their normal guy. That
was like them thinking Tim Wallas, who's going to be
the man's man running for vice president? Yeah, when David
Hogg is your life normal dude, that signals a level
of disconnect. I don't know. It's really hard to comprehend.
But after all the nonsense about Jay six and protecting
our sacred democracy and election deniers, they just go and decide, Yeah,

(12:24):
we don't like this guy, so we're just going to
invalidate the election. I love it.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
I love love this guy. So a couple of things.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
One is that they're upset at him because he said
he was going to primary people, and so they forced
him to sign a neutrality This is the DNC has
forced him to sign a neutrality pledge, so he's not
allowed to have any interest in or know any specifics
in a primary. But then this is the part I'm
talking about, and this is the real you know, Commissar

(12:50):
from the Kremlin stuff here of the Democrats. The ruling
by the Credentials Committee on Monday the DNC was not
technically related to mister Hogg's plans to engage in primaries,
so that's not.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Actually why he's being ousted.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Instead, it was the result of a complaint from Callen Free,
one of the losing candidates in the vice chair race,
who said the party had combined two separate questions into
a single vote, putting at a disadvantage the female candidates
because of the party's gender parody rules.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
I don't even know what.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
That really means and how to figure it out, But
like so they had a vote, but the vote didn't
take the gender parody rules into account, and so therefore
it's null and void. It's like, this is what you get,
dude for being a Democrat. It's not just he can't
drink beer and hang out with pretty girls.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, I mean, this is what he gets for not
transitioning and becoming David at Hog. I guess. I mean
that's the way you get around this, because that's like
in the rock paper scissors of left wing identity politics.
I think becoming a trans person, I think that that
Trump's being a woman. I don't know. I don't have
my little decoder ring here with me, but yeah, I

(13:58):
mean that's that's just a tactical misstep on old David's part.
You know, live and learn. But in all seriousness, this guy,
you know, five years ago or whatever, he was kind
of like the bleeding you know, left edge of the
Democrat Party. You know, this little door who came up
with a name for gun control. And they thought, oh,

(14:20):
you know, we'll get the youths with this guy because
he's super left wing and he's young. And now because
he's white and a dude, he's not enough that It
just shows what a mess the Democrat Party is. I
love it, and I think it's hilarious.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Something else I think you're gonna love.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I'm sure you saw this, but in case you didn't,
And for everyone who's listening, Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan
has officially been indicted by a grand jury for aiding
and abetting a illegal alien who was evading ice. So
I guess the judge you had to get a reminder
about the law, which is that she doesn't get you
just make up the law because she watches too much MSNBC.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah, the find Out stage is a lot more entertaining
than than I thought it would be. But I have
a question for you because I'm having trouble settling on
the nickname for her. Some days I feel like she's
large Marge, and then some days I feel like she's
ma Forertelly from the Goonies.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yeah, I mean she is those who haven't seen she
is not. She's just a beauty.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
She has a great personality.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
She has a great personality.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
And you know that the the notion that a judge
would make such a clear violation of law decision in
the role of it like like while she it's like
she's a judge, and she brought an I legal gun
into the building herself, Like, you're not allowed to do this, right,
You can't help somebody evade federal authorities in your courthouse

(15:48):
because you feel like it.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah. Well, I love the arrogance of it because I
think it's so illustrative of where the left is now,
especially with their whole judicial insurrection and their judicial resistance.
These individual judges who are elected by no one have
a you know, very very narrow jurisdiction. They think they're kings.
They think they're the president, they think they're the judge,

(16:12):
they think they're the jury. And you know, honestly, I
wish this could happen to every one of these judges
that are clearly violating the law and stealing power that's
not theirs. I wish they could all go through this.
But I think this is a really clarifying moment for
a lot of these judges that thought maybe they would
get to build up some celebrity for themselves, maybe get
to a federal judgeship, maybe get a book deal. O

(16:34):
large March there. She is a cautionary tale for every
last one of them.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
He's a great patriot and a great American Sean Davis.

You know a few Our sponsor here is Preborn. There
are many nonprofits I can say they've saved three hundred
and fifty thousand babies over the existence of that nonprofit,
but Preborn is one of them. The Preborn Team clinics
nationwide who welcome pregnant moms to their facilities, and they
welcome them with love, with open arms and support because

(17:16):
they want them to see that the future for them
should have a baby in it and not the other choice,
which we know is abortion. They do this by an ultrasound.
They introduce mom to her baby via ultrasound, and they
only are able to do this because of donations from
the pro life community. That means you twenty eight dollars
is the cost of an ultrasound. If you can donate that,

(17:38):
that's fantastic. You might save a baby's life. If you
can donate two hundred and eighty dollars, that will be
ten ultrasounds which could result in ten births of tiny
babies in this world.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
It is a beautiful thing.
