Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of The Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. Second hour of The Clay Travis and
Buck Sexton Show starts now. Thanks everybody for joining in
here for listening. In. Clay on vacation today up in
Michigan with the fam. He will be back on Monday.
He's having a great time. Sends his regards to all
of you across the country. Big congratulations to Carry Lake

(00:27):
for winning the GOP primary out in Arizona for the
governor's mansion. She said that she had the only pathway
to win after there was a little bit of a
too close to call moment in the media. And she
is now officially I thought I thought she would be.
She is officially now the GOP nominee in that race.

(00:49):
So it's gonna be It's gonna be big, folks, gonna
be a big election cycle in this fall. We're gonna
be talking about it so much so. A win or
Carry Lake, that's that's a good thing. Obviously, this is
primary stuff, though we want to see some wins in
the general elections. I think Carry's going to be a
formidable candidate there as well. I did say Page and

(01:12):
doctor Oz, you might have to get him on the
show and say, hey, can you can you please take
the take the fight to the Fetterman campaign a little
bit more here up in Pennsylvania, because this is a
guy who is in favor of Fetterman, in favor of
men competing on women's sports team. Says that fracking was
a stain on the state of Pennsylvania, which is just crazy.

(01:35):
How do his parents paying his bills until he was
in his forties. But he looks like a like a
kind of a rough and tumble guy. He looks, you know,
like a person you'd know from the steel mill or whatever.
So that seems to be throwing off some voters there.
He's a progressive, he's he's a left wing guy who

(01:55):
has had wealthy parents paying his bills as an adult
for quite a numb a few years. So I think
doctor Rons got to step it up a little bit there.
We also should bring back herschel Walker soon to talk
about what he's doing in the state of Georgia to
take that seat from from Rafael Warnock. So we're not

(02:18):
looking great on the Senate side. We got to really
step it up when you're looking at these close Senate
races Arizona, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia. These are critical. These
are critical places right now for a g OP pickup.
And remember, if they managed to hold on to the Senate,

(02:42):
if the Democrats even by the narrowest, even by the
fifty fifty we currently have because Kamala Harris is the tiebreaker,
if they managed to do that, they're gonna get some
judicial nominees in place, They're gonna get their appointee. He's
sailing right through. Even a divided Congress with the Senate

(03:05):
in the hands of Democrats is going to be a challenge.
That's going to be something that we really would like
to avoid, and right now is not not looking so good.
You got lack Salt against Cortez, Masto and Nevada. That
one is is a toss up right now. I think

(03:25):
lack Salt's gonna be able to pull ahead there. Oz
Fetterman keep saying it. We gotta step up on that one.
I've got to think about how to make that one
a closer race than it currently is. So those are
the ones, the ones that are on the margins. Baldock
and Hassan up in a new Hampshire, that one's gonna

(03:49):
go blue. So anyway, we we can't get ahead of
ourselves or can't celebrate you early because there's nothing to celebrate.
Bottom line, we haven't done anything yet. We have not
actually really one and so I want everyone to stay
focused on it. We will continue to look closely at
these issues and make sure that we give them all
the due attention because the border inflation, the Afghanistan withdrawal,

(04:16):
COVID policies, these are all areas where I mean Democrats
should just be getting completely crushed when you add these
things together. And yet in the Senate, on the Senate side,
it's going to come down to candidates against candidates. It's
not The national narrative is not going to be enough.
The national narrative is not going to get it done.
So this is why it's so important for us to

(04:39):
continue to spend time focus again and making sure that
you're all fired up about this. Down in floor. Is
some good news. I just said to talk to you
about the Brianna Taylor case before. It's there's a lot,
there are a lot of moving pieces there, so I
know I had to go and add some additional details. Interestingly,
enough The only officer who has charged Matt that case

(05:00):
who was acquitted was his He didn't actually hit Brianna Taylor.
And the individual who shot at the officers was charged,
but he he was charged with trying to kill one
of the police officers. He was not He was found
not guilty, and the Brionna Taylor's family got twelve million

(05:21):
dollars from the City of Louisville. And there was a
ban on no knock raids and acted as a result
of it. And the officers were either resigned or were
fired who were involved in it. One of them faced
criminal charges, and now there's federal charges against all four.

(05:41):
Is the final way this case is going down. So
who controls the levers of justice is a very important thing.
Who's making the decisions about prosecution, about resources from the
justice system. Look, there's no other The IR has the
power to really harass you and maybe ruin your life,

(06:02):
but usually it doesn't go that far. As much as
the Democrats want to make more IRS officers, more IRS
agents able to audit you, but the DOJ can destroy
you if it wants to. It'll bankrupt you, it'll ruin
your reputation. If you have the wrong people in charge there.
It's also true of state prosecutors. I have not forgotten

(06:24):
at all, and some of you who live and we've
got a great audience up in Milwaukee and the Wisconsin
and Wisconsin in general. Milwaukee area, the efforts to go
after Scott Walker using what they called the John Doe
Laws in that state, pushed by the most dishonest and
disgraceful left wing prosecutors out of Milwaukee. By the way,

(06:46):
they would do everything in their power to try to
try to destroy Scott Walker politically, including ruining employees of
the state of Wisconsin for the most minor and fraction
if they thought they were some how coordinating their messaging
with the Walker campaign. It was crazy stuff that John
Doe investigates. You to go back and remember that. It's

(07:07):
worth actually a read again just to see. The good
news is that it doesn't have to be this way.
And when you have progressive prosecutors who are engaged in
politics instead of law enforcement, you can take steps against them.
And that's why I was so happy to see Governor
Ron Desantists, who I feel like just keeps showing Republican

(07:29):
governors the way. Now there are others who who are
doing a lot of follow on to what Desantist does,
which is great. We had Kevin Stiddon recently from Oklahoma.
He's doing a great job. There are governors out there
who are saying, I see what's going on in Florida
and I want to take similar actions. But Desantists just

(07:50):
yesterday suspended Soros backs State Attorney Andrew Warren. Here is
the announcement of that we don't elect people in one
part of the state to have veto power over what
the entire state decides on these important issues. The Constitution
of Florida has vested the veto power in the governor,
not an individual state attorneys. And so when you flagrantly

(08:13):
violate your oath of office, when you make yourself above
the law, you have violated your duty. You have neglected
your duty, and you are displaying a lack of competence
to be able to reform those duties. And so today
we are suspending State Attorney Andrew Warren effective and media

(08:36):
suspended him, and I hope I don't know what the
regulations are the rules on the books are in the
state of Florida for this specifically, but I hope they're
able to terminate him. He has made it very clear.
First of all, he was and I saw this last
night on a Tucker Show on Fox, Andrew Warren was
one of these people who was bragging effectively about arresting

(09:00):
arresting priests for having a service or a deacon. I
forget what is specific religious affiliation was but arresting somebody
for having church services. And he was saying, yeah, that's right,
that's how we keep you safe. So he's a progressive,
he's a lib. And these people are crazy. I mean,
they just they don't live in reality, and they will.

(09:20):
They will hurt you with the power they have if
they can and if they desire to do so. So
you got to take action here. I mean Alvin Bragg,
who is the disattorney in New York right now, he's
under a lot of pressure because the numbers are just
irrefutable at this point. Spent a lot of time talking
about it yesterday. You've got people committing over a hundred

(09:46):
crimes and never serving any real time. One hundred arrests.
I mean, if you're a company, you arrest somebody for
one hundredth time, you got to think, what's the point
of this? Exactly they're not actually paying a price. We
were led to believe by this progress prosecutor movement, by
the end mass incarceration BLM activists, that there are so
many people who are in prison who are either entirely

(10:08):
innocent or didn't do anything really very minor. You stole
a bag of potato chips, and now they're serving ten years.
It's awful. It's not true. It's just not true. And
that change is finally, I think, settling into people's minds.
I think they're starting to see more and more now
the direct cause and effect here. If you have a

(10:29):
progressive prosecutor, you have somebody who's an ideologue as a prosecutor,
and they undermine the law. Actually, it's worse than not
being good at their jobs. They hurt the law that
they are supposed to be protecting. And that's exactly what
was going on in Florida, in the Tampa area, and

(10:50):
it's happening in many places. So anyway, any Republican governors
who can should take action here. Les Elden running against
HOCl in New York State, I just any New Yorker
at this point, what are you doing voting for HOCO? Honestly,
such a disaster, wrong on everything, and just so really

(11:13):
to say unimpressive is very kind. Why is anyone going
to vote for this? Lady? Wow? People just vote Democrats.
They vote Democrat Lee's Elvin says he'll fire Alvin Bragg
as governor. He'll fire the district Attorney of New York
first day on the job. Are all the other Republican
governors paying attention because I know in some of the cities,
even Houston progressive prosecutor. How many folks well actually Houston

(11:35):
residents certainly know that, but people the rest of the
country think about that. The state of Texas, you wouldn't
expect it progressive. I'm sure the prosecutor in either Dallas
or Austin or both is probably progressive as well. Maybe
even Sorrow's funded. It's hard to keep up because there's
so many of them. Take action, get rid of where
possible and lawful. These prosecutors who are who are left

(11:59):
wing activists, wielding the law for the benefit of the
Democrat Party and for honestly the socialist and commie mindset
in this country. Do what you can use the power
that you have while you have it, because there are
quite literally lives at stake. We look at the homicide numbers,
You look at the shootings, the assaults, the rapes, the robberies.

(12:20):
If people aren't going to use their power to protect
the innocent, they should not be prosecutors. My friends, Mike
Lindell and his team at My Pillow are out to

their products, and they're succeeding. They've put another of their

Welcome back to Clay and Buck. We have some calls
lining up here on the lines. Let's get to them.
Paul in Long Beach, California. Some thoughts on the Senate.
What's up, Paul? Happy Friday? You two, sir? Happy Friday?

(13:48):
Clay Buck, Sorry, that's all right, Yeah, I'm just I'm infuriated.
This is the gfp's the Senate leaderships. It's like premature surrender.
It's infuriating. Um taking the Senate and House this year,
both of them should be a slam dunk because just
a terrible job and extremism that the Biden administration and

(14:10):
has sent House Dems have done just just seems like
it's once again it's it's h exhibit snatching defeat from
the jobs of victory, which is like it's best quality.
I'm frustrated too, because the more I'm seeing these, the
way these Senate look there's still a lot of time.
And Paul, thanks for calling in raising raising your concerns

(14:31):
about this too, Warnock, Walker, Cortez, Mastro, Laxalt, fetterman Oz.
Those are the ones that I'm really at Kelly and
Masters in Arizona too. Those are the ones that I'm
really dialed in on. Um. That's those are the ones
that we've we've got to do as well as possible

(14:51):
in those campaigns. And you know, Democrats keep the Senate.
I gotta tell you, I think everyone who thinks that
Biden's not going to run again, I don't know about that.
You know, you say, well, that's so reckless, it's crazy.
I mean, they've always got him wearing the aviators, so
you just don't look at his eyes and say, this
guy is not all there. They don't care. Does Biden

(15:14):
still Isn't he still positive with COVID? By the way,
it's been two weeks. I think he's still most recently
tested positive for COVID. So you get four shots, plus
you take packs Loavid and you still get COVID. That
lasts for a few weeks apparently. But he's speaking I
think right now, am I am? I right? Yeah, it's Live.
He's speaking right now at the Whiteness. We're not gonna

(15:36):
have to join. He's talking about the jobs and stuff
like that. Maybe we'll pull some of this in a
few minutes. Well, i'll tell you what Biden saying, Well,
we'll go over at first. I don't want to waste
your time, but I think he's gonna run again. I
know it's crazy. It was crazy the first time. Why
wouldn't they be crazy the second time? Weekend at Bernie's
one weekend at Bernie's two presidencies that they don't care. Honestly,

(15:59):
it doesn't matter to them. Darryl in Savannah, Georgio. What's up, Daryl, Hey,
I just wanted to talk real quick about Lockers campaign.
He's running a terrible campaign. I mean, he's setting himself.
He's don't had done like two campaign ads on TV,

(16:19):
and he's he's being beaten up nightly. He's being called
a liar, and he says that the city's being an
FBI agent, and I mean he's not defining himself. Yeah,
it's Intrigan, Aryl. I don't get to see that stuff
because I'm here in the New York market where the
Democrats have such a blue lock. Thanks for calling to
Darrel such a lock on the voting here that they

(16:42):
don't feel the need to run the same kinds of ads,
the same level of ads, because they know there's just
going to be Democrats winning all over the place. Although
the governor's race here is Zelden, and how call it
could be interesting. It should be interesting, Zelden should win.
But people are nuts. Yeah, no, I look, I tell
you the truth, folks. I could sit here and say

(17:03):
everything's amazing. This is gut check week, this is wake
up week for the Republicans. We took for the first
time really all summer. I think we had a tough
week in politics with a number of and this week
slash last week a little bit. But between them slipping
through the Chips ACKed bill, now getting through the Schumer

(17:26):
mansion inflation spending spree, and the win in Kansas, some
of these Senate races, I'm trying to say, we gotta
get fired up and into it right now. We got
to start focusing all across the country on winning these races.
It's important. True or false the world is living off

(17:46):
last year's food harvest. The answer is true. Most of
the world lives off food made from the harvest last year.
Future harvests are likely to be a lot smaller though,
because of fertilizer shortages. American farmers warned us about this,
and in Europe farmers are protesting new fertilizer regulations. It's
getting that serious, folks. As time is start taking some action.

(18:09):
And as you know, panic can spread quickly, so you
want to take action before the panic set sets in.
That's why you need to go to prepare with Clay
and Buck dot com right now. You'll save fifty dollars
on four weeks of emergency food from My Patriots Supply,
the the nation's largest preparedness company with millions of customers
already well stocked with their food kits, and you should

(18:29):
be too. You can save fifty dollars on each four
week kitch you order when you go to prepare with
Clay and Buck dot com. Your food chips fast and
free and unmarked boxes for your privacy. Don't let your
family suffer with food shortages. Go to prepare with Clay
and Buck dot com right now. That's Prepare with Clay
and Buck dot com. You're worried about an attack on

(18:54):
the homeland emanating from places like Afghanistan. So we are
as somebody who was in the FBI building on nine
to eleven a little over twenty years ago and have
met with the families in the years afterwards. I think
about that day every day, especially now that we're out.
I'm worried about the potential loss of sources and collection

(19:17):
over there, so we're gonna have growing intelligence gaps, and
I'm worried about the possibility that we will see Al
Qaeda reconstitute the iss K, potentially taking advantage of the
deteriorating security environment. And I'm worried about terrorists, including here
in the United States, being inspired by what they see
over there. Welcome back to Clayanne Buck. That was the

(19:38):
FBI director, Chris Ray saying that. And he's an institutionalist,
by the way, I don't think that it's even so
much that he is a Democrat aligned individual, as he
is aligned with the institution of the FBI above all else,
which is often the case for people that through these bureaucracies.

(20:02):
But that said, I was just telling you as a
wake up week for us in politics, for Republicans, for conservatives.
I also think on the national security side, we got
a bit of a wake up call in a number
of a number of fronts a number of places around
the world. Let's start with the strike in Afghanistan against

(20:27):
I'm in all Zawahiri so Zawehiries gone hit with a
so called ninja missile. Big blades come out of it.
Doesn't have the same shrapnel effect as a more conventional
explosive missiles do. So it's like they call it a
switch blade. I think as well, right, isn't that or

(20:48):
maybe just the ninja missile. There's switch blade drones. I
don't know. Stuff to keep up with all the cool
names for these things. They didn't have back in my day.
We didn't have ninja missiles. We had the old school missiles.
But they took outs our here, which is a good
thing in that it is justice. But for anybody who
understands the region, he was living in a big house

(21:10):
right in downtown Cobble one hundred percent that the regime,
the Taliban knows about his presence, welcomed his presence, and
we're defending him. We're giving him safe harbor. There's no
question about that. So just understand that al Qaeda's top leader,

(21:30):
the number two to been Lauden for many years. The
guy who was directly involved in plotting nine to eleven
as well as other major attacks, he was staying as
a special guest, a VIP guest of the Taliban in Kabble. Now,
right now, we see these situation Afghanistan. They're having food shortages,
their economy is a mess, and we just hope that

(21:52):
it stays pretty quiet for a while. But everybody who
knows the region, I know many of you served there,
you know all too well the realities of the Taliban,
the Taliban mindset, it's just a matter of time before
they start to support in ways that maybe at first
have plausible deniability on the world stage. But I don't

(22:15):
even know how much they care about that support gee
hottest terrorist groups in their own country but also throughout
the region. It's only a matter of time. What are
we going to do about that. That's a tough conversation
to have right now, isn't it. We know we don't
want to go in there and try to rebuild the country,
But Afghanistan as a platform for global jeehottests again, I

(22:39):
would say it is likely that that happens in Perhaps
it's going to take a few years, but that's where
it's heading. That's what's going on there. Iran has said
that they will get or they've gotten even closer to
nuclear breakout capacity. The Iranians now flexing muscle on that

(23:02):
issue with Russia. Remember in the early days we were
told of the Russia Ukraine War. First of all, there
was such a focus on the ghost of Kiev. Fake
the sailors who died on Snake Islands didn't happen that way.
The Russians are going to pull out any moment, because
the Ukrainian military is valiantly defending their home territory against

(23:26):
the Russian bear. True in the sense that they were valiant,
False in the sense that obviously the war has been
going on for many months now. Russian economy has proved
durable throughout, even though we have all these sanctions in
the rest of the place, and Putin has not for
one second forgotten that we are sending munitions that are

(23:50):
being directly used to kill Russian soldiers. I'll remind everybody
you know, you have to think about this the way
your enemy does to understand what their next moves may be.
There was a period of time when the Iranians were
using or we're sending e fps and then the Iranians
just had their militias, their people conducting these kinds of

(24:13):
attacks too. And the Iranian hand in Iraq has only
gotten stronger in the last ten years. But they were
they were sending over EFP's explosively formed penetrators where the
explosion behind a copper plate creates this almost like a
metal molten hyper bullet that punches holes even in up

(24:35):
armored vehicles, and that was used to kill and maim
a lot of our service members. The Iranians did that,
and we and we remember we held we held them
to account in some ways, not nearly as much as
we should have, but that was certainly on the minds
of the people around Trump when they ordered the strike
that took out Kasam Solimani. Remember that Kasam Solimani's strike.

(24:59):
He he had that whole program of supplying arms to
Shia militias in Iraq that we're attacking US soldiers. Point
here being putin is not okay with what's going on,
and he will find ways to try to offset the
US influence, offset US stability around the world and at home.

(25:20):
Now you can be prepared for that, and of course China, China.
In the aftermath of the Pelosi visit there, it's very
interesting to see people are on the right supportive of
the visit, but also critical of what the visit will accomplish.
It's there's a very confused messaging over Taiwan. It's strategic

(25:44):
ambiguity is our policy in more ways than people are
willing to admit. It's really just ambiguity in general, because
we don't know what the heck we're going to do.
What are we supposed to do here? We keep saying
that we support and when I say we, I mean
the US government supports the One China policy and not
unilateral independence for Taiwan, but doesn't support a Chinese Obviously,

(26:09):
what would theoretically oppose, even with military force, a Chinese
invasion of Taiwan? All right, well, where does that leave us?
In response to the Pelosi visit, AP saying that China
announced it will end all contact with the US on
major issues climate cooperation that led to the International Paris Accord. Yeah,

(26:32):
well that doesn't worry. I mean other things do though,
high level military discussions freezing lines of communications there. There
are exercises going on right now, including the firing of
missiles that have splashed in Taiwanese waters, Chinese firing those missiles.
The USS Reagan, the aircraft carrier, has been told to

(26:53):
stay in the region to keep an eye on things.
This is a This is a downturn in the regional
stability and security that the Biden administration didn't really invite.
Nancy Pelosi did. So what exactly are we going to
do in response to all of that. I sense a

(27:17):
deterioration coming. I do not believe that people can predict
the future, but I think you can see trends. Look
at this White House, look at the people making these decisions.
They are incompetent. They take the America last position as
often as they can. And these areas of the world

(27:38):
that have been major regions of either conflict or serious
instability for years now things are heating up. Things are
heating up, and we got Joe Biden in charge. So
I don't know where it's going to happen, but I
do think this administration it's not gonna It's likely that
it won't happen before the election, but I think you're

(28:01):
going to see this Biden administration tested with an international
relations and national security crisis that rocks it to its core.
We already saw an Afghanistan with the withdrawal. What a
debacle that was. Same people are in charge, my friends,
same decision makers at the top. Something's coming our way

(28:23):
and unfortunately, with this team calling the shots, it's not
going to go well. So we need to be prepared.
We need to get ready. How's it that a single
product can help so many people. Relief Factor has been
ordered by more than half a million people, all in
an effort to help reduce chronic everyday paid. That kind
of pain is so often the result of inflammation. It

(28:44):
happens when you're working a physical job forty or fifty
or more hours a week, from aging or just over
exertion with exercise. That's what got me when I started
to pick up my exercise game. Oh man, I felt
that pain in the shoulder. I woke up one day.
It's been there for a while, but it's receding finally
thanks to our friends at relief Factor, because I'm now
taking They're recommended three packets a day. Their packets contain small,

(29:08):
easy to swallow pills containing just four all natural ingredients.
Once you get in the habit, it's so easy, and
once you feel the benefits, you're gonna really want to
keep that habit locked in. My friends, trust me, it's
one hundred percent drug free. Created by doctors. Relief Factor
is backed by and was perfected over fifteen years of
scientific research. Join them. More than half a million people

(29:29):
order the three week quickstart for only nineteen ninety five.
Go to relief Factor dot com or call eight hundred
four Relief to get the nineteen ninety five three week
quickstart developed for you. That's relief Factor dot com. Or
call eight hundred the number four Relief. Welcome back to
Clay and Buck Show eight hundred two eight two eight

(29:52):
eight two on those lines. Are you feeling about what's
going on right now? Wake up week for Republican Senate races.
I'm not looking so good right now, so time for
us to get moving, folks. Donna in Chattanooga, Tennessee has
some thoughts. Welcome Donna, Hey bug, hey bear. So good

(30:17):
to talk to you, and thank you so much for
taking up Russia's mantle. Oh, thank you so much for
listening in Clan Arden the best weekend every day, Yes
you are, and thank you so much. Connecticut is not
a state that's talked about a lot in terms of
the races that are coming up. I'm obviously not in Connecticut.
Our daughter is and is very active on the ground

(30:40):
in Republican politics. And in fact, last night President Trump
called in to an RTC meeting and wholeheartedly endorsed Leora Levy,
who is running for the Republican nomination against a twenty
two year Hertford rhino who votes with Bloomenthal as much

(31:07):
as she votes with Republicans. And things are the polling
right now again it's Bloomenthal, but things are showing that
he's vulnerable. Speaking of waking up, people are wiking up,
I certainly hope. So I got to tell you I
haven't looked, even as a New Yorker, I haven't looked

(31:28):
at the Connecticut Senate race because I've just assumed that
you know, such a blue state. But we gotta you
notice how one thing you know, Donna, that you remind
me of Democrats are never shy about trying to walk
right into our kitchen and steal our spaghetti and meatballs.
You know, they'll go right in there. They'll they'll try
to put Beto in Texas as the governor or they'll

(31:51):
you know, they they'll go right into the heart of
a red state. Look what they just pulled off in Kansas,
and they'll try to win anywhere they can however they can.
I think on our side we get a little complacent.
We're all it'll be fine there. We got a little
complacent in Arizona in twenty twenty. I know people are
gonna say it was the structure of the elections, but yeah,
we should have made sure the elections where the structure

(32:13):
was better before the votes were cast too. That's another consideration.
Thanks for calling in, Donna from Chattanooga. I want to
get to Chattanooga. I never been. I gotta get out
there and visit Mike in Houston, Texas. More thoughts on
the Senate. Hey, Mike Buck, thank you. I think the
biggest reason that we're concerned right now and the sense

(32:35):
of urgency you expressed is well founded, is a guy
by the name of mister McConnell. I think he is
way too comfortable in Washington, d C. The comforts and
the fact that five of the top seven wealthiest counties
around Washington, DC is emblematic of his ambivalence. He doesn't
seem to care whether he's two votes short or two

(32:57):
votes up year to year care and it doesn't seem
to affect him. He's not affected by outcomes of the
economy anymore than Joe Biden has ever been as a
career politician. Where is his hunger? What's his agenda? Newke
Ingrid did it right at ninety four? What in the
name Mitch McConnell goes on the circuit, new media circuit?

(33:20):
And what what what affirmative agenda does he share in
the media when he's asked about who's gonna own the well?
Don't you raise a very mind? You raise a very
impersonal thank you for so much for calling, and you
raise some very important points. One thing is I mean
Mitch McConnell. We could definitely get him. He would benefit
from the chalk vitality stack. I think right now we

(33:41):
got to get a little extra, little extra into Mitch's day.
A little more fire in the belly for Mitch would
certainly be helpful. All of a sudden, he's like, I'm
doing one hundred push ups at of Tom. But we
also need to understand Republicans are not are not articulating

(34:01):
an agenda other than inflation is bad. That's important. You've
got to do that. You've got to be pointing out
inflation is bad. There is a problem with that message though,
And people I know don't like to hear this on
the right, but this audience just likes the truth. So
I'm gonna tell you. Part of the problem with the
inflation is so bad message is that we spent six

(34:24):
trillion dollars in the last year Trump's term on the
COVID stuff or whatever, five trillion, six trillions, something like that. Now,
it was more of a panic time. We had a
worse version of COVID. There were a lot, a lot
of unknowns. The health bureaucracy demanded we shut down. That's
why we have a CDC. I will uphold to this point.

(34:48):
I believe America would have been better off during the
pandemic if the CDC did not exist. I actually think
that is true. I do not think there was any
positive whatsoever from the CDC. The only thing you could
say is, well, people believe there was a CDC. Though.
This is like a joke I used to make when
I was in the CIA with other CIA guys and gals.

(35:08):
That's say, don't worry guys, the secret super cool CIA
that's in the base of the volcano somewhere where everybody
you know has throwing stars and exploding cufflinks and can
fire lasers out of their eyes. That CIA will take
care of things. That's kind of the truth with the
CDC too, we all thought, oh, we got a bunch
of geniuses. We've got the guy who's in the movie

(35:31):
who randomly has a British accent even though he's American
because it adds credibility with this is how we shall
save the planet. You know, they had that guy, the
British actor in Armageddon. They're like, this guy's the smartest
guy on the planet. He's an advisor of the president.
I'm like, why does it sound like he just came
from you know, Manchester in the UK. Anyway, Yes, we

(35:53):
need more than just the inflation is bad. Democrats have
made it much worse. That's to be sure. What do
Republicans want to do? What would the choice be? What
do they want to do? Now? I know there are
answers to this, but I say this to you right now,
we all need to be honest with ourselves. How much
are you hearing about that? If I if I told

(36:16):
you not on an individual candidate level, nationwide or Okay,
we get it on crime, we get it on the border.
What is the economic messaging other than stop spending too much,
stop the negative. Yes, stop the flood. Sure, but when
the flood recedes, my friends and Republicans are in power,
what are we going to do? What will we help

(36:36):
