Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travison buck Sexton
Show Podcast. Welcome back in Now we're number two Clay
Travis buck Sexton Show. Encourage all of you to go
and sign up for the Clay Turravis buck Sexton Podcast.
Make sure you don't miss a moment. We are five
weeks from official election mid term day on November eighth,

(00:24):
I will break down along with Buck where we stand
five weeks out, including the latest news about herschel Walker
and what we think it means as it pertains to
the Georgia's Senate race. But during the commercial break, Buck
told me that we have to address but also, by
the way, Twitter, it appears that Elon Musk is really

(00:44):
going to buy it as we will update you when
that becomes officially official at fifty four dollars and twenty
cents a share. I hope if you had Twitter stock
you did not sell it, because almost every stock is
getting murdered in the market right now. So at least
if you had some Twitter stock, you'll have something that's
near a high for the year, which is rare. All right, Buck,

(01:06):
what if we gotta what if we is it a
correction and an addendum, what have you got here for us?
Just just a little factoid, little thing. I'm thrown out
there for everybody after you and our good buddy Bill
O'Reilly yesterday had you're a whole. Oh, Biden's not gonna
run again. That may still be true, but I am
just thrown out there. The latest reportage from NBC News,

(01:32):
Biden tells Al Sharpton he will run for president again
in twenty twenty four. I present you, Clay with an
in over till it's over. Yeah, I look, I agree
that Biden's going to try to angle his way into running.
I just think that as a result of some of
these races that we're about to talk about, Buck, I

(01:53):
think he's not gonna have the option. That may be true.
And I'm also just I'm a little sensitive to this, Clay,
because after yesterday, I did a poll on whether he
will just an informal Twitter poll, thousands and thousands of votes.
I thought it would be sixty forty. It was like
eighty twenty. He's not running again. So the consensus among
our extended radio family so far seems to be that

(02:14):
he won't run again. I'm planting my flag on this one.
You and Bill O'Reilly are gonna be splitting a very
expensive check when you guys take me out to dinner.
That's all I'm saying. I'm looking for. You know, first
of all, Bill O'Reilly and I are gonna run up
the score here on this steak bet in a big way.
Just so you know. It's gonna be like a call

(02:36):
for the sum, l ya, because then I get nervous
because the sum. Yeah, they had a great before Billions
lost it mind and went super woke. It was actually
a really entertaining television show. Um, for those of you
out showtime. I think about this hedge fund guy, private
equity guy played by David Axelrod, who was played by
what's his name the Redhead from from Damian Lewis, Damian Lewis.

(02:57):
That's right, really good. Um. And so there was a
great scene where at one of your high end New
York City restaurants, Uh, the warrior I think, who didn't
have very much money, was dating a woman who wanted
him only for his money, and she was ordered This
is not uncommon in New York City, by the way. Yeah,
she was ordering truffles and the guy just keeps I've

(03:17):
never even had it is a great city. Just keeps
Oh you can tu order all year, he says, And
you can just see the guy across the table like
just doing the math in his head for every season.
Every swipe of the hand with the fresh truffle and
the little uh almost like the razor that they used
to shave it off, is one hundred dollars basically, So
you're just sitting there just getting a hundred a hundred um.

(03:40):
I thought you were going to talk about the order
lawn birds. Do you remember that? Oh? That was great, Yeah,
that was great. I will the hold on the truffle
cost reminds me of our buddy Jesse Kelly. Should I
should I call him out for what he did. We're
out out to post drinks, having post drinks dinner at
the top of this rooftop of the Peninsula, which great place.

(04:01):
Jesse not content with the wine bottle there, says, Oh,
we were talking about Bob Pittman's company, who owns I
heard he's got a fabulous tequila. He's my favorite tequila
I've ever had, and I'm a tequila drinker. It's a
it's a fabulous tequila. What's the tequila you could pronounce
it better Cossa Dragonez Dragonez. I would basically pronounce it

(04:21):
Cossa dragons right, dragonaz. But it's it is, by the way. Yeah,
it's a fabulous tequila. So we're talking about it, and
Jesse says, you know what, let's get around of tequila shots.
And so everybody here at the Peninsula tell and he
wants a round of Costa Dragonez to be clear's right,
conser specific and the guy's like, I don't know if
we have it. And then they come back and do

(04:44):
you did I tell you? I said, I said, Jesse,
you just ordered a mortgage payment's worth of tequila's shots
here and uh and his company because you know, you
got a good tequila, you know, in a in a nice,
nice bar, and he was, didn't you know, fifteen dollars
maybe for the shot something like that, seventy five dollars

(05:07):
a shot? Oh yeah, Jesse Kelly, our boss at Iheart's company.
That has to be I can't imagine that there is
a more expensive shot that he could have ordered of
tequila at the bar that night concert Orgon. I think
it was worth every penny, honestly, but as your bars,
you know, bars mark stuff up. I mean, if you
think about they're charging in a lot of places ten

(05:29):
dollars for a shot of absolute vodka. I was like,
there their actual cost on this is basically in the pennies.
So you know, thankfully I could afford it, but I
imagine everybody out there wincing. You can text Jesse Kelly.
But this reminds me back one of the first times
I was ever in New York as like a twenty something.
I think I was like twenty three, and I was

(05:50):
at the Soho House or one of those hotels that
was cool and new down And I'm not an expert
in New York City, but I remember I was there
with my wife and I was not yet grad duated
from law school, and I went to go buy a
round of beers and each beer was eight dollars. This
is like two thousand and four, two thousand and three,

(06:11):
and I almost threw up over having to pay eight
dollars for a beer. It was the most expensive beer
I'd ever heard of, I'd ever seen. I couldn't believe it.
And even now, eight dollars for a beer seems expensive.
This is twenty years ago, and and I just remember
that sick feeling in your stomach when you're buying around
and you're like, oh, I was not you don't have

(06:31):
much money, and you're like, I thought the round was
gonna be like, you know, twenty five bucks, and it's like,
you know, can eighty bucks? One is? Uh. I was
staying years ago, and I'm somebody who at age thirty,
I had four roommates. Okay, everybody, just you understand. But
you know, because I was trying to save up some cash,
people are like four, oh yes, four. Oh wait, no,

(06:53):
I was the four. Sorry, I had three roommates. Um,
but I was out. I remember on the West Coast
at a hotel, not super fancy hotel, but like a
nice hotel in Santa Monica. You know. I was kind
of spurging a little bit for me at the time.
And I remember they said that they would send can
we send up a bottle of water? Do you? And
I thought it was kind of like, you know, complimentary
bottle of water. They sent me a bottle of water.

(07:14):
I'm not kidding, an evy on bottle of the water.
They charged me thirty five dollars, and I remember I
called the front desk, and I was just like, guys, like,
I get it. It's a hotel, you're you know, everything's expensive, ripping,
But you can't charge me thirty five dollars for a
bottle of evy on, Like there are limits here, you know.
I don't want to turn this in what do they do?
I don't want to turn this into um Woodstock ninety

(07:36):
nine where I'm like lighting the towers on fire over
the price of water. But I'm pretty upset over this one.
So you never know, did you? But real quick, the
order lawn birds. Do you remember that scene from because
this was fascinating. It's a real thing. Yeah, yeah, I do.
I do remember that. I mean, And so for people
the Billions, what would you say? The first three seasons
of Billions super entertaining and great, and they get a

(07:57):
lot of I actually know a guy who's a hedge
fund insultant for the show and talk to him about it,
and so they did bring like they they brought people
into consult on the writing who have some understanding of
hedge funds in Wall Street, which makes it a better
show overall. I thought it was fantastic the first few years,
and then it just you know I don't. Yeah, yeah,
well we all know got super woke and all of

(08:19):
a sudden we're getting basically diversity and inclusion lectures, and
we're like, look, we just want the interplay between the
US attorney going after the insider trading hedge fund. Guy.
I know it sounds kind of boring, folks, maybe a little.
It's actually really good first few I mean it's like
the movie Wall Street with Charlie Sheen is amazing, even
if you don't give a you know what about Wall Street.
That's a classic movie. Oliver Stone actually are one of

(08:41):
his best. But yeah, the Ordolans are birds that are
kept in darkness for weeks on end and then dipped
in there like a little songbird and they're dipped in
a vat of brandy and then they're roasted and eating
hole and I believe they have their eyes removed as
part of this, and they're it's not legal in a
lot of countries. Now, yeah, they've made it is an

(09:03):
illegal bird to eat, and they eat them. So yeah,
there is in the first three up, first three seasons,
I would say of billions worth watching. All right, speaking
of billions, we're trying to save trillions for the country
and we want you to live well even if you're
not a billionaire hedge fund guy. And in order for
that to happen, we gotta take back the Senate. So

(09:24):
here's the analysis. I would say, in general, Buck, we
are the Republicans. Winning the House is basically a foregone conclusion.
Now when I say that, I don't want all of
you out there to be like, well, I don't even
need to vote, So understand, when I'm analyzing things, I'm
expecting all of you to still do your civic virtue

(09:45):
at the absolute minimum and go out and make your
voice heard on election day. All right, So the House
is going to flip Republican. In fact, right now, the
betting markets have Republicans over under around twenty seats to
pick up. That's the average, and the Republicans, I believe, Buck,
the number is five would flip the majority. So there's

(10:08):
a pretty healthy margin built in where the expectation right
now over under right around twenty seat pick up. And
to put that into context, twenty five or thirty seats
if that were to happen, would create the largest Republican
House majority in almost a hundred years. Now, that's because

(10:29):
of the twenty twenty race, Republicans picked up seats were
not expected to do so, and so we can't necessarily
have the same style landslide of ninety four or twenty
ten because you're building off an election that you came
from before and actually got an addition now, Senate, I

(10:50):
am Nevada very confident now looking at the polls that
Adam Laxalt is in a fabulous spot to win that race.
Our buddy Ron Johnson, he is right now kicking ass
and taking names in Wisconsin. I'm increasingly confident in both
of those guys. Winning doesn't mean you don't need to vote,

(11:11):
doesn't mean you don't need to donate money, doesn't mean
that just they have the lead, they are in possession
of the football, and with five weeks to go, it
would be an upset if either Laxalt in Nevada or
if Ron Johnson in Wisconsin lost. I'm very confident in
Ohio with Jade Vance. I'm very confident in North Carolina

(11:34):
with Bud all Right. So those states I don't think
are in play three, then that I think are most
in play that will determine who wins. So I'm saying
we're gonna pick one up in Nevada, which would give us,
in theory, a one seat Senate majority. You've been following,
but closely Pennsylvania. I feel like OZ is going to

(11:54):
pull out Pennsylvania. Federman's a disaster candidate. The Cook political
report I told you just twenty minutes ago, or so
officially moved to Pennsylvania from lean Democrat to direct toss up.
A lot of Democrats had already put Fetterman in the
W column. I think he's gonna lose, but that is
a toss up. All right, Pennsylvania, we need you to

(12:15):
have your voice heard. We need OZ across the finish
line there. In Arizona, Blake Masters, carry Lake's gonna win
that race for governor. And I told you when she
was an underdog, hop on that train. She's winning. I'm
very confident of that. Blake Masters report is out good.
That's a good one. Buck. Peter Teal is evidently going
to pour a lot of money into Arizona now for

(12:37):
Blake Masters because he's very confident that jd Vance is
gonna win. The two guys that he aggressively was supporting
or jd Vance in Ohio and Blake Masters in Arizona,
so hopefully he's putting millions of dollars of his own
cash into supporting Blake Masters. And then the other one,
the other one is Georgia. Now, if Oz holds serve

(13:00):
and we win in Nevada like we I think was
this reference there are you? If we went in divided,
then it would be a one seat Republican majority, no
matter what happens in Arizona, in Georgia, or in in Pennsylvania. Right,
but they're coming after herschel Walker with everything they got.

(13:22):
And yesterday I told you front page New York Times
Sunday edition. White reporter goes down to down to Rightsville.
I think it is where Rightsville, Georgia, where herschel Walker
is from, and says herschel Walker's not black enough to
be U the Senate nominee. When we come back, we'll
play you the audio. But if you haven't heard it already,

(13:44):
there was a report yesterday in the far left wing
publication The Daily Beast, which was clearly put there to
try to attack herschel Walker, claiming that herschel Walker paid
for an abortion in two thousand and nine. Will pay
play you herschel Walker's response from last night on Hannity.
I just want to say that The Daily Beast is
among the worst online publications in America. Yes, I mean,

(14:07):
it's just so everyone knows. I mean, it's on my
list of basically destroying the country in every way that
it can, just throwing it out there. The Daily Beast
did an eight thousand hit word hit piece on me
an out kick. So when I saw, I think they've
done two, like eight thousand total words trying to rip me.
So when I saw the Daily Beast was writing an
anti herschel Walker article, let's just say, if you should

(14:29):
have sent them a nice little fruit basket when you
sold to Fox and said thanks for all the free
pub you jerks, it didn't hurt. But we'll talk about
this situation and why they're coming after herschel Walker so aggressively.
Spoiler alert, it's because he's winning right now, and we'll
discuss it when we come back in the meantime. How
do you interest your kids in our nation's history? You

(14:50):
share it with them in great story form. Most history
books in school are boring. There's one history book out
there that may just ignite your curiosity and love for
our nation's history comes from popular series The Tuttle Twins.
Their new history book for students teaches the most important
lessons from American history in an engaging way. Kids are
gonna love. They'll come away with a solid understanding of

(15:11):
what happened, why it happened, and most important, how it
relates to them today. There's a book deal with a
big bonus at Tuttle radio dot com, but it ends
this week again. That's Tuttle radio dot com. Get your
own copy of The Tuttle Twins America's History Book. My
kids have it and they love it, plus the bonuses

(15:32):
before they're gone at Tuttle radio dot com. That's Tuttle
radio dot com. Welcome back to Clay and Buck. We
got that huge race in Georgia for that Senate, well
a couple of them actually, obviously the governor's race with
Kemp and Stacy Abrams Warnock versus Walker Hershel Walker reacting

(15:52):
to allegations that he paid for an abortion. This is
what he says. Do you know the woman that is
making this allegation? I have no idea, but it is
a flat out lie. And now you know how important
this seat is. The seat is very important that they'll
do anything to win this seat, lie because they want

(16:13):
to make it by everything else except what the two
problems that we have in this country is this inflation,
the border wide open crime. They don't want to talk
about that, so they're making up lies now because they
need this Georgia seat. So I'm going to encourage anyone
out there, let's not let them take this seat. Okay, Look,
I don't know anybody's past at all, right, I think

(16:38):
the idea that we know any political figure what they
did say, didn't say, what they did do, what they
didn't do years and years before they became a politician.
For me, Buck, if I were a Georgian, this is
still not a remotely difficult call for me. I'm voting
for Brian Kemp to beat Stacy Abrams because I think
Brian Kemp has done a good job as governor, and

(16:58):
I'm voting for herschel Walker. And it's not even a
close call against Rafael Warnock because Rafael Warnock is a
rubber stamp for everything that Joe Biden wants to do.
If Georgia had had a Republican senator instead of Warnock
or instead of what's the other guy's name ass off.

(17:19):
I think if they hadn't lost both of those runoffs,
then we would not have nearly ten percent inflation right now.
There would have been a check on Joe Biden's unbridled spending.
I'm not claiming that herschel Walker is a perfect person.
We've had him on the show a lot. I think
he will be a very important obstacle to Joe Biden's agenda.
So if you agree with me, and if you believe

(17:42):
like I do, that he's winning and that's why all
these attacks are happening right now, you need to go
to team Herschel dot com and back him because this
is a buffer to guarantee that Republicans take back the Senate.
Team Herschel dot com. I'm still one hundred percent behind
herschel Walker. You should be too. They're coming for him
because he's winning. It's a calculated attempt to take him down.

(18:04):
Business owners, you know the sensation of an overwhelming day,
all the pressures that come with running a business, hiring staff,
managing employees, keeping up with the changing regulations, all that more,
there's a limit to what you can do to keep
employees engaged while running your business smoothly. That's why I'm
glad there's insparity. They put thirty plus years of HR

(18:25):
experience to work to help you develop a people strategy
that supports your business strategy, focusing on the health of
your organization. What if your HR strategy included access better
benefits to help you keep the employees you have and
attract new ones. What if it also offered training for
your employees to help their skills so they become more productive.
There will always be challenges to face in business, and

(18:46):
no matter where they come from, insparities ready to help.
With inspirity. Nothing seems impossible. Inspirity HR that makes a difference.
Welcome in Klaytres fuck Sexton Show, where you're headed up
to great state of Michigan, where my wife is from,
where I was married, and where I was vacationing during

(19:07):
the summer when it is truly fabulous. When Tutor Dixon
won the official nomination for the Republican Party in a
dominant fashion, she is now running against a woman that
I am describing as awful as both a governor and
a steward of the state, Gretchen Whitmer. And we are
joined now by Tutor Dixon, congratulations. I know it's been

(19:29):
a while on the primary win. We are five weeks out.
Can you take yourself and finally solve this ridiculous whitmer
era and end it? What do you need from us
and what are you hearing from the people of Michigan
about the governor's race five weeks from today? Well, we
believe we can. Right now, we are in a situation

(19:50):
where she has spent twenty three She and her allies
have spent twenty three million dollars against us, and we're
just now getting back out on the airwaves because and
our allies are just getting back out because we had
a primary and she did not have a primary. So
Republicans in many of the swing states, I would say
it has definitely been a challenge to be able to

(20:11):
build back those resources. But we are in great shape
right now. We are just coming off of a rally
in northern Michigan and it was fantastic. We had so
many people showed up the entire place with pack. You
know that we had a rally on the southeast side
with Donald Trump at President Trump here on Friday or
on Saturday night this past Saturday night. The energy in

(20:32):
the state is really amazing, because when you lock people down,
when you take away their livelihoods, when you take away
their education, when their kids' futures are at risk, people
become very energized to make sure that can never happen again.
Because at the end of the day, of course, we
are all freedom loving Americans, and we believe that that's
the most important thing that we have our freedoms, that

(20:54):
we are able to have the American dream, that our
children are able to have a great future. Tutor, when
you speak to people who are persuadable in your state,
is there any doubt in their minds of that? What
Whitmer did? I mean she Governor Whitmer really tried to
muscle out, in my opinion, Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom

(21:17):
of New York and California, respectively for the most hardcore
and now as we know, insane, debilitating and worthless COVID
lockdowns of any governor of any state. Do Michiganders all
see that, or are some still a little caught up
in the propaganda and think that if they get shot
number five and stand six feet away from somebody, maybe

(21:40):
it'll keep them safe. I'm talking about the persuadables. It's
so interesting that you use that word propaganda, because we
were talking about this this morning. I was saying to
one of the people on my team, it's so difficult
in a state like ours, where you really have a
strong propaganda media that is going out and saying, you know,
she's great, She's done all of these things. But when

(22:00):
you talk to folks and you say, you know, you're
seeing these commercials says she's brought all of these jobs
to the state. Do you know that while Gretchen Whitmer
has been governor, we've lost eighty two thousand jobs. Do
you know that when other governors, even Andrew Cuomo, decided
that it was no longer a good policy to put
COVID positive patients into nursing homes, Gretchen Whitmer doubled down

(22:21):
and is now refusing to release the final report on
how many seniors we lost in this state. Do you
know that when she was given the opportunity to get
kids back on track with reading scholarships, she thought that
gave parents too much control, So she vetoed that opportunity
for our students, and now we have a sixty percent
failure rate in our third grade reading level across the state.

(22:43):
These are all things that pretty quickly people say, wow,
this is catastrophic, and wow, the education system went from
thirty eighth in the nation, which wasn't a great standing
to now we're looking at being in the bottom five
states in the nation coming up soon. People realize that
that means the future for a workforce, the future for
businesses here is very bleak if we don't turn things around.

(23:06):
And Governor Whitmer is not coming out and saying anything
about what she would do to get people back on track.
She has offered nothing in the form of a plan
for the state, nothing in the form of a plan
for small businesses. She has not brought more jobs to
this state. She has not helped developers who want to
develop in the state. In fact, she has created such

(23:29):
a weaponized state agency conglomerate against business that businesses now
consider the state the enemy of business. And they say,
we feel as though the state sees us as the
enemy of the state. We talk to them, We talked
to folks about that. Look, we can be partners again.
Look at the states that are thriving that are partners
with their businesses. The Tennesseees the Kentucky's, the Texas is

(23:53):
that are taking the business away from Michigan right now.
We met with one of our largest manufacturers the other
day and they said, I'm going to very secretly tell
you that we are building new factories and they are
all in Texas. Because working with the rover regulation in
the state of Michigan and the inability to communicate with
the top executive officer, the chief executive officer of the state,

(24:15):
that governor, has been such a nightmare. We've decided to
build in Texas and leave Michigan. We cannot afford to
have more businesses leading. Eighty two thousand jobs is way
too many to think about more of our businesses leading
the state is catastrophic. Tutor, you have four daughters, and
one of the things we've been talking about on the

(24:35):
program is the amount of angry moms and dads as
well out there about schools being shut down. You just
mentioned the loss of learning that Michigan has seen happen
as a result of Gretchen Whitmer's awful stewardship. Relating to COVID,
how much do you hear from moms and dads out
there still furious about her leadership there and what the

(24:56):
cost were born by children over there now being able
to go to school. I just actually, about five minutes ago,
had a mom say to me, what you said about
our public school system not having enough students. My son
would be a senior this year, and he's so far behind.
He was embarrassed, and he decided to take himself out

(25:17):
of school and get go to night classes to try
to get his geed. Because he's so embarrassed that he's
so far behind, he decided to get his senior year up.
That was the first time I had heard something like that.
But we know we've lost a massive amount of students
from our public education system. The public education system has
been harmed so significantly, and we have to figure out

(25:38):
how to get that system back on track. Parents across
the state and another mom say to me, I have
you're right. I have four daughters. Two of my daughters
will go into fourth grade this year. We have twins,
and one of my girlfriends her son will go into
fourth grade as well. She said to me, can your
girls read? And I said, well, my girls have been
in person, and she said, my son has been in

(25:59):
and out of school for two years because of this,
and he missed that crucial step. And she said, and
we're parents to sit with him every day. I sit
with him every day and try to help him read.
And the school says they don't have the resources to
help me. She said, what is happening to all of
the kids that are in a worse situation than us. Well,
that's the problem. The kids that are in the most

(26:20):
critical situations are the ones that are being hurt the
worst by this. And where does that leave them? Where
is their American dream? Where is their future? If they
don't have family members at home that have the time
to sit with them and get them back on track.
It falls on us as members of the state to say,
we're going to come around public ed and make sure

(26:41):
that those resources, those tutoring hours are there to make
sure that there is no wrong path in education for
any student in the state. We're speaking of Tutor Dixon.
She's running for the governor's office in Michigan. Tutor, just
one more for you. We only got about a minute
or so. But the crime issue has overtaken even in
the polling now abortion, So more people are motivated on

(27:04):
crime than on abortion, one way or the other. So
many states we talked about here. The cities have been
in really rough shape in the last few years under
Democrat rule at administrations Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing. What's going
on in the cities in Michigan and what has Gretchen
Whitmer done to try to turn things around? First of all,

(27:25):
she's done nothing. But I would say this is directly
related to the school issue we're just talking about, because
we see kids that didn't return to school in our
most vulnerable areas. We've seen a thirty percent increase in
homicides in the state of Michigan and over seven hundred
percent increase in carjackings. Wow, this is a catastrophic problem
in this state. And she has offered no solution. It's

(27:48):
exactly what I'm saying as we've gone and said, okay, well,
what is your plan? What is your plan for the future.
The only thing that anybody has gotten out of her
so far is I've put record dollars into education. That's great.
Funding education is very important, but we're looking at what's
coming out of education, not just what's going into education.
And right now, if you end up stealing on education

(28:09):
from these kids, you can you can actually predict your
prison population based on your literacy rates. And we're seeing
the effects of these children that were kept out of
school and then decided not to go back in the
fact that we have a massive increase in crime in
the state. Tutor Dion, Tutor, We're trying to mobilize our
michigand or audience to help you get across the finish

(28:30):
line here because it would mean so much for the
people in that state. So where can they go? How
can they get involved? Yeah, please tell them to go
to Tutor Dixon dot com. It's t U d O
R D I XO N dot com. Check us out
on Facebook and Twitter at tutor Dixon. Anything you can
do to help spread the word, prayer, help donate, that
would be great. Thanks so much, shooter, best of luck.

(28:53):
We'll talk to you soon. Thank you. I mean, Clay
the best name in polite, like the cool name in
politics right now. There's some cool names out there, but
is Tutor Dixon your number one at this point for
just coolest name way up there? And also, I just
I said this earlier. Mom of four Tiffany Smiley running
in Wisconsin. I think she's got three or four. I

(29:15):
think Christine Dreysen, running an Oregon for governor, has three
or four. You'd think somebody would put together a story
about all of these badass Republican moms running for statewide office.
If these were Democrats, be on the front page of
the New York Times. All three of them are incredibly
accomplished and again running with young kids because they're fed

(29:38):
up with what they saw from Democrats. That to me,
is how Republicans win, because those women, certainly better than
you and me, can talk to all the moms in
the neighborhood and say we got to get things fixed.
I'm wearing them right now. Look, let me tell you
this before I dive into how much I love the
my slippers. One of my most important mantras for life

(29:58):
is you need comfortable feet. You mean that. I tell
everybody that I know. I'm out on a date with Carrie.
She says, should I wear herols? I say, no, wear flats, Okay,
be comfortable. I want your feet comfortable. I want my

the same energy, so your footwear is critical. I mean,

this number eight hundred seven nine two three two six nine.
That's eight hundred seven nine two three two six nine,
paging Doctor Jill Biden. Paging Doctor Jill Biden. Clay, did
you know it is National Taco Day today? So perhaps

(31:54):
I didn't know where we were going there. Perhaps doctors
are fantastic. Perhaps doctor Jill Biden wants to weigh in
on breakfast tacos. We all remember that that moment in time,
if she actually had a decent sense of humor, and
if anybody in politics was allowed to have a sense
of humor, this would be a good opportunity for her
kind of to poke fun at herself and have fun

(32:17):
you know, discussing this. Right, So I want to I'm
gonna start a fight with you right now because because
I just know you're gonna be on the wrong side
of this. Okay, hard shell taco, soft taco or burrito.
What is the ultimate carb covering. I don't know what.
You'd even call it, the ultimate vessel for Mexican cuisine,

(32:41):
shell tato, hard shell taco. That is absolutely the wrong answer.
I knew you were gonna say that too. I'm a
hard shell she taco. I love Taco Bell, which probably
my favorite fast food well Chick fil A, but if
other than Chick fil A, my favorite fast food restaurant
is Taco Bell. And I get the Taco Supreme and

(33:03):
the Mexican Pizza. And they brought back the Mexican Pizza.
It's because they canceled it for a while. And I
think you have to go hard shell taco. I mean,
I honestly feel like I'm eating like uh like not
that I eat a lot of toilet paper, but the
soft shell taco feels like there's nothing to it. It's
just kind of a flimsy nothingness. Do you remember, by

(33:26):
the way, they used to have They used to have
a Taco Bell Chihuahua as the mascot Is that offensive? Now?
I would assume they can live a pretty long time, Chihuahua's.
They're one of the longer live canines, you know, fifteen
years plus. I think they can get to pretty easily. Unfortunately,

(33:49):
m Gidge it was the name of the chihuahua and
passed away in h two thousand and three. I guess
it was you just you just gonna tell us all
about dogs dying, you know, like go from I just
I remember very clearly as a kid, I had this associate.
I liked Taco Bell just because I liked dogs so much,

(34:10):
and they had this really cute chihuahua that was the
mascot for the Tacos. He now he's dead, and now
we have to think about dead dogs. I'll give you
a positive. But would they bring back would they bring
back a K nine mascot? Or is it? Now? Is it?
You know, Chihuahua is a region in Mexico. There are
lots of you know, people, Pomeranians. Is that racist one

(34:32):
to Pomerania? Is it unacceptable to have a Chihuahua associated
with a Mexican food brand? If so, why I think
it would be okay? You know, they brought back Spuds McKenzie.
Do you remember Spuds McKenzie, Yeah, the American bull Terrier.
Indeed that bud Light uh dog Spuds mackenzie. And like
the eighties, if I remember correctly, was a killer move

(34:56):
for bud Light with the Spuds McKenny. Do you remem
beer commercials used to just be like guys who were like,
you know, a little pudgy wearing T shirts with sunglasses
that had the little hoop behind them at a at
a beach or a pool, surrounded by beautiful women, just
spraying beer everywhere. That was how they sold beer in
our youth. That is not gonna sell beer anymore. I

(35:18):
think they're gonna bring those back. I remember remember the
Coors Light Twins, the Smoking Hot Twins that they had,
Like Coors Light had a like we love Football and
Hot Chicks that was like and by beer, football, beer
and hot chicks, and that was like Coors Light's brand,
and everybody was like, I'm kind of okay with this.
And they had like their song, like their theme song
Somebody maybe somebody on the show we got like everybody

(35:40):
is out sick, I think on the show or Jury,
how is our crew on Jury? Duty like every week
for two years in a row. Is is this the
longest jury trial of all time? We got COVID, we
got civic obligations, we got a lot of things that
are taking our team out of commission for days here
and there. I'm asking for the audio of the old

(36:01):
school cores Light commercial where they would talk about the
hot twins, right like this was the apex of football, America,
girls and beer, which is everything that America does well
in my opinion. You remember the was it bud Light
that did the guy who was like, Hi, I'm doctor
Galli week its and the like you mean doctor Galakowitz. Yes,

(36:24):
um that some beer commercials used to be great. We
need to bring back Americana and beer commercials, make beer
curcial commercials great again. It can be on the Trump
twenty twenty four slogan. A year, we're gonna do a
hard turn into nuclear war possibilities here in the moment.
That's tough, that's rough, rough,
