Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. One year ago today, millions of Americans
faithfully tuned into the Rush Limboss Show as they did
any other day for more than thirty years. To their surprise,
they heard the voice of his beloved wife Kats instead
(00:21):
of Russ himself. In the years since, though not much
has actually changed the world, somehow still feels different without him.
But through the speakers of radios around the country, though
the golden EIB microphones sits silent, the memory and voice
of our friend, companion and radio's greatest of all time
(00:42):
is still with us and always will be. Over the years,
a lot of people have been very nice telling me
how much this program is meant to them. But whatever
that is, it pales in comparison to what you all
have met to me. All have met to me. The
official program observer James Golden, also known as bo Snerdley.
(01:06):
It has been a year since RUSSI Lamball left his
role as the Doctor of Democracy, America's innchorman, and became
an immortal, And during that year I've heard almost every
single day from somebody in his vast audience with stories
about how much he meant to them, how he impacted
(01:27):
their lives, and how much they miss him, how much
they miss his insights, how much they miss his humor,
just how much they miss Rush. We all miss Rush.
But you know something, Rush left us with a legacy
that is unequaled. He changed American media, He changed the
(01:50):
way that Americans think and Russ Lamball enjoying your eternal life.
You will never ever be forgotten. God bless you Rush.
Frequent guest toast daught Her. Anytime you turn on a
radio station and you hear an opinion based show, you
(02:11):
will be hearing the legacy of Rush Limbaugh. Opinion radio
wouldn't have survived without Rush. It simply wouldn't have. There
are people who understand their country now, children who will
read Russia's books. That's his legacy. And in the last
few months of his life he shared with us his faith,
his status as a christ fallower, and of course that's
(02:33):
hisn't during legacy. Long time guest host Mark Steyn. The
first time I was asked a guest host for Rush,
I happened to be down in Australia and then Prime
Minister John Howard asked me to some event and I said,
I'd love to go, but I had to get back
to America to guest host the Rush Limbull Show. And
the PM said, oh, I hear that's a pretty big
(02:55):
show and I said, yeah, thirty million listeners and he said, crikey,
Rush has more listeners than we have Australians. And that's true.
If rush Land were country, it would be a pretty
big one, bigger than Australia, four times the size of Switzerland,
six times the size of New Zealand. And it would
(03:16):
be a well governed country where people could live their
lives to their fullest potential, as Rush did and as
he wanted everyone else to be able to do. A
country where children know their history as opposed to knowing
nothing but being taught to despise it all anyway, And
most of all, it would be a country with a
(03:36):
lot of laughs, because Rush took politics seriously but not solemnly,
which is how he came to have more listeners than
Australia has. Australians. Joe Biden will always be plugs to me.
Even though all the plugs seemed to have fallen out.
Rush was totally secure and he expected the guest hosts
(03:58):
to be too. He would put us down mercilessly. If
a listener asked why there was no ditto cam on
guest host days, he would explain that it was because
of our woeful physical appearance, etc. One day in that
last year, I said something on air sincere and heartfelt
and true about Rush, and Catherine passed it on to him,
(04:21):
and on his next show, he said how touched and
moved he'd been by it. And I was horrified because
the old Rush would never have done that. And I
said I wanted him to return to scoffing at the
guest host and that made him laugh, and he said
he'd go back to putting us down again. Alas that
was not to be. It was one of the great
(04:43):
privileges of my life to be put down by Rush,
and I only wish he were here to do it today.
Thank you Rush for everything. Rush's brother, David Limbaugh, I'll
tell you what has kind of surprised me. I always
new I'm as Rush's biggest supporter, and I knew he
was loved, but I had no idea until after he died,
(05:07):
the depth, the actual intimacy that people felt. I mean,
so many people have expressed to me that they feel profound,
deep personal loss and that they lost the best friend
they never had, their surrogate brother or father figure. They
felt like he was such a good friend, such a
(05:27):
close confidant, and that has been really touching to me
because his big love, besides his wife and his family
and his friends, was his audience. I would bet a
day doesn't go by where at least three to five
times a day I think of sharing something with Rush
without realizing in that nanosecond that he's no longer here.
(05:51):
When I would talk to Rush, I didn't talk to
him as a talk show host. I didn't put him
on a pedestal. I mean, he was my brother, although
I have to say I did really look up to him,
and I marveled at his talent. When the mic went on,
he went into another world, another level. He was uniquely talented,
and I'm just proud to be his brother and proud
to see that he did everything he could with his
(06:13):
God given talent. And more. While Russia's work on Earth
is finished, may he rest in peace, knowing his legacy
and the lessons he taught over more than thirty years
of excellence in broadcasting. We'll keep on doing the work
for him for generations to come. Greatest of all time,
(06:33):
Clay honored to even be able to sit here and
speak to his audience in the house that he built.
We're all going to miss him, no doubt, and that
was a fantastic tribute from so many different people. You
just heard. If you're just getting in your car right now.
The one year anniversary of Russian Limbaugh's passing, we had
(06:55):
his wife Catherine on with us in the first hour.
She was absolutely fantastic. If you miss that, I would
encourage you to go listen to it on the podcast.
And then we had Sean Hannity, a guy that many
of you will be listening to after this show and
or watching as well on Fox News tonight, talking about
the legacy of Russian Limbaugh in his mind, in his
(07:18):
experience with Rush as well, and certainly every single day
that Buck and I get to sit down and do
this show, it's done in the honor and the legacy
of what Rush accomplished as the greatest and most influential
voice in the history of radio. And we just hope
(07:39):
that we can continue to fight the battles that he'd
be fighting if he was still with us today. There's
a lot more of our honoring of Rush that you
can read and here atclaanbuck dot com. Go to the website.
We've got transcripts there, and obviously that's always a one
stop shop for all things that we do here, including
today's show and remembrance of, as Sean Hannity said, the
(08:00):
goat the greatest of all time, Rush Limbaugh. We know
that Rush would want us to continue the fight. We
know that no one fills his shoes but Clays in one,
I'm in the other. So we're going to continue the
fight for this country and to continue to honor the
legacy of Rush Limbaugh. When we come back here and
dive into the news and what's going on here, we'll
do it knowing that Rush is looking down, not just
(08:22):
on us you're talking on the radio, but all of
you listening all across the country. We'll come back with
you in just a few minutes. There's no substitute for
you looking after your own online identity. Its value is
equivalent to all the information you carry on your wallet

(09:52):
Can somebody explain something to me? Why is Anthony Faucci
the only medical and health official anybody ever consulted? Very
valid question from Russian Limbaugh. There as we continue to
celebrate his legacy on the one year anniversary of his passing,
So many great things in our one an hour two,
(10:15):
and we hope to continue with more great things in
our three. So buck the craziness in Canada. I feel
like we have to unpack. For a long time people
went America, they would look to Canada and they would
think to themselves, why can't we be more like Canada? Right?
Relatively calm? There are people politically anyway. Never really seemed
(10:40):
like the temperature got that high, never really seemed like
they got that fired up at each other. There was
just kind of a moderate normalcy everything, okay. A that
would come from Canada. And I remember hearing that the
analogy somebody made is like America was like, you know,
(11:00):
trying to make meth in an apartment, and the Canadians
who lived above us were like, what's going on downstairs
all the time. Right. If you've ever lived in an
apartment or a condo and had a crazy lower level
or upper level neighbor, you know how that can be.
Canada was the calm ones. They were in bed early hours,
they were easy going. You never really paid much attention
(11:21):
to them. And I don't think we can understate how
crazy Canada is right now, buck. I just saw Ottawa
put out the City of Ottawa did a statement letting
it be known that if you were with the protesters
and you had an animal, and you were arrested after
eight days, you would relinquish possession of your animal and
(11:45):
it would be either taken by someone else or on
the pathway towards that animal being an estasized, rightuthanized euthanized.
That is pretty crazy that we would be talking about that.
And while we were on the we have now one
of the top officials in Canada officially announcing that if
(12:06):
you donated money to the Canadian truckers, they have begun
the process of freezing the bank accounts, the bank accounts
of people who made those donations. The names of both
individuals and entities, as well as crypto wallets have been
shared by the RCMP with financial institutions and accounts have
(12:32):
been frozen, and more accounts will be frozen. In terms
of the specifics on whose accounts are being frozen, you
now have the regulations. The financial service providers have those
regulations as well, and they, working with law enforcement, will
(12:53):
be making the operational decisions. Can I just say, Clay,
because I worked in some domestic counter terrorism operations as
well as before that in the CIA. Obviously, terrorism finance
is something that the US Treasury Department, the Intel community
looks at. They're effectively in Canada treating the truckers as
a domestic terror organization, and in fact, if anything, they're
(13:16):
being even more aggressive than we would in this country
in dealing with insurgencies and terrorism abroad. When it comes
to they're not even taking this to a court. There's
no court order. They're just they're freezing accounts that they
think might have donated money to truckers. On what basis
(13:36):
are all the truckers breaking laws? What laws are they breaking?
Is it terrorism they're engaged in or protests? The fact
that the media in this country does not get up
in arms about this proves beyond any doubt as if
there was any doubt these people are toadies for those
in power. They don't care about freedom, free speech, or protest. Yes,
(14:00):
and you talked about, and we talked about on this program.
If you're saying, Okay, well I don't really care what's
going on about the Canadian truckers right now, well, first
of all, I think you should care, like I think
this whole audience does care to be I hope that
they do. But every now and then, Buck and we
talk about something international, I'll get an email or something
they'll be like, you should talk about what's going on
in America more. And I'm like, okay, well, I understand that,
(14:21):
but what goes on in the world also impacts America
in a big way, right, So the Canadian truckers, you
should care. If you don't, you should and listen to
me in this analogy, and I think you'll understand it.
And it's one of the analogies we're making. Imagine during
the summer of twenty twenty, when all of those mostly
peaceful protesters, said obviously sarcastically, are burning down police precincts,
(14:46):
They're rioting, they're looting, they're pillaging all over this country,
happening everywhere. Imagine if Donald Trump had said, as Kamala
Harris remember now our vice president then the senator from California,
said hey, we're going to raise money to immediately bail
everybody out who is arrested during the BLM protest. Imagine
(15:10):
if Donald Trump and there were go fund means like crazy.
They ended up raising over one hundred million dollars. They
don't know where that money went, by the way, but
they did raise over one hundred million dollars. Imagine if
Donald Trump had said, we're expanding our definition of terrorism,
I'm declaring martial law, and every single person who donated
money to Black Lives Matter is going to be in
(15:34):
danger of having their bank account shut down. Imagine what
the media in the United States would have said and done.
That's what's happening right now in Canada, and most people
in Canada are acquiescing to it, and most media in
America aren't even paying attention to this. And this is
why precedents matter, because imagine if Trump had done the
(15:58):
same Clay and we could even we could even expand
it a little more if you had and the analogy
is very at but if if you had Russia, Russia
Putin right, we're all supposed to be so scared. And
by the way, there's been some artillery shelling in areas
on the Ukraine Russia border, and now they're talking about
it possible. I mean, I can't even we're following this closely, folks.
(16:21):
I mean, they're talking about possible Putin chemical weapon threat,
false flag on the Daily Mail. I mean, it's it's
just the reporting is all conflicting. It's all a mess.
We're watching this. But imagine for a moment, the international
media as well as the American media's response. If the
most well known critic of the Kremlin is Alexi Navalni
(16:41):
in Russia. He might have heard of him before, folks.
You know. He imagined for a moment if a Russian
opposition if the Russian opposition Putin announced that I'm freezing
all bank accounts of anyone who donates to any political
party in it now. Has Putin already done that or
something probably, but they would all they would all say
that is tyranny, universally condemnic, and they would be correct.
(17:05):
What they're doing in Canada is tyranny, folks. And that's
not an overstatement. It's not. They are strangling democracy while
pretending to protect it. That's what's happening right now in Canada.
Trudeau has got to go. This is now an issue
for the entire Western world. Trudeau's government must fall. These
(17:26):
truckers are striking a huge blow for freedom. They just
need to hold the line. Make no mistake. By the way,
Joe Biden would like to be able to do this.
Left wingers in this country would like to enable the
president to be able to do this for donations that
are made to protest that they don't support. It's so
funny you bring that up, Clay, because there was just
an announcement the FBI is forming a National Cryptocurrency Unit
(17:51):
focused on the seizure of assets like bitcoin that just
broke while we were on air. Almost like they want
to make sure they could cut off funds to people
that are like in this country. No doubt, they're not
going to let you hide funds. This audience, by the way,
knows what tunnel of the Towers does. They've been supporting
America's heroes and their family since nine eleven. When a
first responder, a military service member doesn't come home, young
(18:13):
kids are left behind, Tunnel of Towers pays off the
mortgage to lift the financial burden and bring their family stability.
For severely injured veterans and first responders, Tunnel the Towers
builds mortgage free smart homes, enabling our most severely injured
heroes to live more independent lives. And now, thanks to
Operation home Base, Tunnel of Towers is gifting tiny homes
(18:33):
to homeless veterans, Our nation's heroes. People will put their
lives on the line for our country and our communities.
They need your help. Help these heroes and their families
join Tunneled Towers on its mission to do good in
their honor. Donate eleven dollars a month. That t twot
dot org. That's t the number two t dot org.
(18:58):
He's a trojan horst, He's a figurehead that he's a placeholder.
Joe Biden doesn't know where he is half the time.
He literally has debilitating mental acuity issues. How high is
the trying rusting the thing right now? It's very high, right,
very because they have not they have not moved to
(19:21):
tending their church out. They moved work through pain number one.
Number two. They have reason to believe that they are
tending the gigs in a false flag operation to have
an excuse to go in every indication we have, they're
prepared to go into the train attack the train number one,
number two. I've been waiting for response to prudent for
(19:44):
my runner. That my response to him they've come to
that mock them to see their fact in the war,
fact in the very dependent there. I have not ready yet.
I cannot coming on. Welcome back to Clay and Buck.
You heard they are the words of Rush about Biden
that he has mental acuity issues. Absolutely true. And then
you're hearing today the commander in chief who is weighing
(20:09):
in on the issue of whether there's going to be
a war in Ukraine, a major Russian invasion, and the
it feels like every twelve hours play on this issue.
It feels like the momentum shifts. Their troops are moving away,
diplomacy's working, Putin's actually been shelling, and things are getting
more you know, things are getting more tense. Oh, it
(20:31):
looks like the diplomatic path is bearing fruit. Oh, I
mean this, it's remarkable. We've never really seen It's your point.
You may before sometimes there have been deadlines, you know,
handover to the Taliban handover been lad and we're coming.
Obviously they didn't hand him over, and you know they
got what they deserve. Saddam, you know, leave or we're
coming in. But I've I can't remember a time where
we've seen this level of invasion is imminent. Actually it's not.
(20:55):
Invasion is any second Actually we don't think so. It's
it's bizarre. Yeah. And when you do game theory, which
I know you guys in the CIA did all that
a lot. The CI nerds love their game theory. I
like game theory too. I mean, I think it's an
awful lot of fun. And for people out there who
haven't engaged in it, you sit around and try to
consider the most likely outcomes, what is going to happen.
(21:16):
It's sort of like chess in the mind associated and
Buck the thing I keep coming back to that doesn't
really make any sense to me. From the Russian perspective,
I still don't understand what Putin is gaining or losing
other than the psychological homeland related factors of Mother Russia
(21:40):
needs to be powerful, and he's trying to appeal to
that Russian ego. Based on everything kind of going into
the toilet for lack of a better way to describe
it in the post Cold War era, and so if
he were on the edge of Ukraine and there was
(22:02):
something where I could say, Okay, he's clearly negotiating for this,
But it seems to me like the only real benefit
is that Russian psychological approval of expanding the homeland and
the belief that Ukraine is a part of Russia. And
I don't do you know what I mean? Like I
it's not a rational behavior that he seems to be
(22:25):
engaged in, which is why trying to strategize his motivations
and movements is so difficult to predict. You have to
think about it from a Russian perspective. What's fascinating is
we don't even You should always know what your opponents
really think. You know, in this country, I think it
took a while for people to realize that there were
(22:46):
jihadists in let's say Iraq who would reference battles that
had occurred or referenced the battles that had occurred in
the eighth century or the Balfour Declaration at the beginning
of the twentieth century. They'd reference things that people say, wait,
what they're doing this because of that. You know, there's
there's Sunni Shia bloodshed in southern Baghdad because of what
(23:09):
happened over a thousand years. The answer was yes, at
least that was the mentality. In some cases that was
part of And in Russia you have remember Putin has
presided over the creation of a Russian middle class that
did not exist before. In fact, Russia was at the
fall of the Soviet Union. The Russian people were humiliated.
(23:31):
Now the creation of that middle class is really just
the result of the fall of the Soviet system, and
it's most and and and of course then they did
they divvied up state resources. But they do have a
lot of fossil fuels, and you know Russia does have it.
It's very rich and natural resources. So Putin does have
a baseline of of support within his own country. And
(23:52):
for a lot of those people, the Russian psyche is
they've been humiliated and they feel like they have this
whole NATO alliance. That's now again, I'm not trying to
say this in any way to you know, say what
what Putin's doing would be justified or make any sense,
but to mirror image their mentality at least the people
who support Putin and around him. They're saying, why should
(24:13):
our country have been? You know, I'm sure you can
get a Russian to say, imagine if someone had just
taken California from you Americans, wouldn't you want it back? Now,
we could say that's crazy and everything else. But there
is you know, irredentism is the phrase, right this or
the word. There is this desire for the regaining of
lost territory and lost prestige, which to us may not
(24:35):
make a lot of sense, of course, but in their
you know, with their historical sense, it's quite it's quite different.
So that's the only thing I believe you can point
to here. That and the resources. Ukraine is pretty mineral rich.
There's there's coal, there's there's a natural gas. There is
stuff beyond just the narrative of Kremlin and Putin glory here.
(24:56):
So you add that all together, Clay. If they think
they can they can steamroll Ukrainian military in a couple
of weeks with less than ten thousand casualties and flip
this government and control the country. They think that's a win.
One of the reasons why I think traveling is so interesting.
I love to travel, but it brings home how young
our country is. I mean, let's say you can go
(25:19):
to many countries in the world, certainly in Europe, and
you can walk into Let's use London for an example.
I went on a great London pub tour of all
these old English pubs. Buck. There are many, just in
London by itself, many English pubs that are older than
(25:39):
our country. And so the reason why I think that's
so utterly fascinating they've been serving beer there longer than
the United States has existed as a country. And our
goldfish like memory, right, very often you look at America,
it's so focused on the future. There's very little of
a recall, and there's a great deal of historical illiteracy.
(26:01):
But to your point, on many of these other countries
with long storied histories, there is so much enmity wrapped
up in all of that discord and everything else, and
we're seeing it a little bit here. Right. The sixteen
nineteen project is rooted in the idea that America at
inception was evil and its original sin of slavery desire
(26:23):
to justifies destroying basically all of the fabric and positive
things that have been created in American democracy. That's relatively rare.
However in this country compared to another's. You know, we
really have two tyrants on the brink right now. Yes,
Suton is he going into Ukraine as he sending the
Russian military and then Trudeau is he sending in the
(26:47):
RCMP or the Ottawa police to break the peaceful protest
in Ottawa. Clay, we need to play for everybody before
we look. We've had a busy day to day, obviously
a lot of news, but also having to hey, our
due respects to Rush and we appreciate all the voices,
all the guests who shared their remembrance of Rush with
all of us. When would come back late, we got
(27:09):
to get to this Canadian Justice minister crazy because if
you think this doesn't affect you, just understand the Canadian
tyrants hate Trump voters too, Okay, that Canadians are angry
at Americans who support Trump. And that's going to come
across from the equivalent of the Canadian Attorney General when
(27:30):
we come back, no doubt. In the meantime, lots of
you out there right now, maybe you need a little
bit of a pick me up getting into the afternoon
on the East coast coming up on noon on the
West Coast and best possible pick me up out there.
How about Black Rifle Coffee. That's what we use. It's
not just a coffee company. These are guys that went
(27:51):
into business after years of service overseas in the military.
Evan Hayfer has done an incredible job, along with many
Black Rifle Team members, in making sure that they can
help take care of you. Their beans come from Colombia
and Brazil. Their high quality. These beans are roasted five
days a week before being shipped directly to your home.
Once you experience the taste of this coffee, you're likely
(28:14):
to think about joining their Black Rifle Coffee Club. And
when you join that club, you're chosen bruise roasted packet
shipped free to your door on your schedule. You can
drink it hot every single morning, or can do what
I do. You can drink one of their eleven ounces
ready to go espresso, mocha, cold bruise right, and a
can I love it you will too. Here's the website
(28:36):
to check it out. Purchase at Black Riflecoffee dot com.
Use the code Clay and bucket checkout for twenty percent
off your purchase and your first coffee Club order. Welcome back.
In final segments of the Thursday edition of the program,
We've spent much of this program on the one year
(28:58):
anniversary of Russian limbas passing, honoring him, encourage you. In
the first hour, Catherine Limbaugh, to Russia's wife, joined us
and talked about her experiences in the one year since
he has passed. We also talked with Sean Hannity. We
have interspersed throughout the course of the program many different
(29:18):
elements of Russia's takes and of the legacy of this show.
Encourage you to go subscribe to the podcast if you
missed any of that. As we know many of you
out there are long time Rush listeners and are joining
us today in mourning his passing. One year since it happened. Now,
the battles that Rush so often fight, as you well know,
(29:42):
have not only continued in many ways, they have accelerated.
And there's no better example of that right now than
what's going on in Canada, where the effective this is
basically the Attorney General of Canada, right Buck came out
and said, if you are a Donald Trump su order,
you could have your bank account seized. I can't believe
(30:05):
he said the quiet part out loud. But this is
where we are right now in Canada. Listen to this.
A lot of folks this, look, I just don't like
your vaccine mandates and I donated to this. Now it's illegal.
Should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?
What's your answer to that? Well, if I think if
you if you are a member, you know, a pro
Trump movement who's donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and
millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then if
(30:28):
you're a member of a pro Trump movement, this is
the Canadian equivalent of the attorney general. Folks, their top
law enforcement officer. The truckers, all right, I'm sure some
of the truckers like Trump. That's the truckers want the
mandates to end. What's amazing is to see that the
Canadian authorities won't even speak honestly about what the dispute is.
(30:52):
It's as though people were striking for higher wages, and
they keep saying, look at these climate change protesters, like, no,
that's not what's happening here. What the fact clay that
he would then say, if you're a pro trumper, you
should be worried we may seize your seize your bank account.
Think about that would do to people. I mean, we
already have the Washington Post going after folks that donated
(31:12):
twenty dollars. So you donate twenty or fifty bucks or something,
Canadian government may decide to seize your bank account. That
means no more trips to the grocery store, folks, That
means no rent payments. Yeah, and we need to build
on this tomorrow as well, Buck, because we talk about
the power of big tech all the time, and big tech,
like big media, their power is and how they decide
(31:33):
to apply the rules that they seek, that they seek
to allow to become a trending topic or a big story.
Let me give you an example. Twitter, as many of
you out there will remember, would not allow the story
from the New York Post about Hunter Biden to be shared.
They would not allow it to be shared on social media.
(31:54):
Of course, the Hunter Biden laptop is one it appears
authentic and it is a part of this investigation. Among
many other different angles. I saw where Hunter Biden's baby
mama testified in front of a grand jury. They believe
London I believe is their name London spelled with an e.
Num was the one that he initially denied having had
(32:16):
the relations with, and I believe she was was this
is that? Am I getting this right? Is this? There's
so many different sorted Hunter Biden. I'm not even sure.
I'm not sure. Okay, I don't want to get the
ones the lady. I want to get the moms and
the baby mama confused with the side chick with the escorts.
I get it. I mean, it's hard to keep tacked
tabs on all the different directions that Hunter Biden's life
(32:37):
has spiraled out of control. But point is, the laptop
was accurate. But you'll remember that Twitter said we can't
allow this to be shared because they argued that it
was hacked. There were hacked materials. They're allowing every single
person who donated twenty dollars to the Canadian truckers off
of a hacked website, They're allowing that to be distributed
(33:01):
widely all throughout Twitter. So Buck, it's not only people
in positions of power in Canada, it's our big tech
oligarchs who are making decisions. I mean, I would love
to get somebody from Twitter on this program and have
them explain. First of all, I don't think they were
right to ban the Hunter Biden's story. But if you
(33:22):
are going to argue the reason why we could not
allow that story to take place was because we believe
that was stolen information, it was hacked, whatever excuse they
want to use, we know beyond a shadow of a
doubt that all of these people who donated to the
Canadian Truckers their information was hacked. That was stolen. That's
(33:44):
not public info, and Twitter is allowing it to trend
and be shared widely, and then these people are being
harassed over a twenty dollars donation plan. It's not true
to say that the left has no principles. They have
one principle, the will to power, and everything else gets
pushed aside for that. You see this, whether we're talking
about the social media companies and the alleged standards that
(34:05):
they have, the way that these other companies that are
platforms supposedly to raise funds for people always Oh what
was it? The law defying els was suspended by Twitter.
This is a well known Twitter account accidentally, Yeah, sure,
and now the Trudeau regime engaged in outright tyranny. If
Donald Trump had done what Justin Trudeaux just did, you
(34:28):
would have libs marching in the streets, tears streaming down
their faces, saying that America is done, not that it's
coming to a close, that it is over. So let's
all just be clear about the fact that they have
no principles other than whatever puts them or keeps them
in power, and everything else secondary at best to that.
We want to talk to Stephen rolling North Carolina for
(34:49):
second hear we wanted to wanted to share some with
us easily listening to Rush for how long? Steve, Hey, guys,
Mega diddos, Mega diddos U. I've been listening since I
got out of the Military's in the Navy, got out
in the early nineties and found a restaurant that had
a bus out front. It said Rush Bus and I
had no idea what that was, but I decided to
eat my lunch, and that's how I got introduced to
(35:11):
the great Maha Rushi. Sat Nate lunch in a bus
with his radio show being piped through the speaker. So
that's that's my where I first met Rush. And guys,
you know what a blessing today has been. Um, I've
been in the car all day. It's just a freak accident.
I had had a lot of windshield time in my
(35:32):
sales day today and I got to listen and hear
rush and thank you, thank you. You know, it's it's
pretty it's overwhelming, but what a blessing. Thank you so much. Um,
you guys are doing a great job. I'm gonna do
my part to make the hosts look great. Um you
played the part with Joe bar Hair Bear Hair whatever
(35:53):
her name is. Yeah, yes, he's saying, Hey, I'm gonna
choose to wear a mask. And you know what, that's
the great thing about this country, the freedom that we
are given to make a choice for ourselves. If she
wants to wear a mask while she's taking a shower,
doing the groceries, riding a bus, which you guys point
out probably she never does, she's free to wear that mask.
(36:17):
She made the argument for everybody else that's saying I
just don't want to wear one. I don't want the
government to make me do something. We hear you, Steve,
thank you for calling in, my friend. We appreciate it
to everybody who was calling in, we know, for the
whole show. Thank you so much. And the way you
all have embrace Clay and me during this whole process
of transition and keeping the fight going is we're greatly
(36:40):
humbled and honored by it. So thank you so much
for that. Well, we've got a lot more tomorrow. We'll
continue the fight, but we do thank all of you
from the depths of our hearts, and thank all of
you for spending time with us, and thank you to
all of you who have been long time Rush supporters.
