Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of the Clay, Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. He's heard on News Talk eleven and
ninety nine point three WBT and Charlotte, North Carolina. Please
welcome Brett Winterble filling in for Clay and Buck.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And there is no place I would rather be, ladies
and gentlemen then right here in this seat, in this time,
basking in the amazing transformation that is happening in this
country day by day by day. Admit it, you're feeling
absolutely fantastic. You're excited. My name is Brett Wooterbow, as

(00:37):
you heard, and I am a BIB alumni and I
am so happy to be back with the best audience
in all of UK radio. And I got to tell
you this, and one of the things that's that's incredible
is how how everybody is feeling really good? Okay, okay, okay, Progressives, liberals,
you're not feeling quite so good. I understand, but I'm

(00:57):
going to give you something to take away with over
the core of the next three hours. But let me
just tell you something here. Not everybody is playing the
game in the same way, not everybody is reacting in
the same way. Look, we're here in Carolina, and we
did our job getting North Carolina to go for Trump,

(01:18):
and a big part of that was Michael Wattley and
all the great team that he put together in doing
this election that just came through. But I gotta tell
you this, there are some sore, sore people out there,
very angry, very upset. And over the course of the
next couple of hours, we're gonna spend some time and

(01:40):
we're gonna listen to some of these things, including people
like Alec Baldwin Yep, he's back. And of course, don't
forget about don't forget about Sharon Stone, who just made
the most insulting comments from Italy. Along the way, we're
gonna go back in time, especially in that third hour

(02:00):
of this program, we're gonna be talking about the traditions,
the grand traditions of this holiday. Thanksgiving is such an
incredibly important holiday. It's so trans It's a transcendental sort

(02:21):
of a feeling because we all want to give thanks,
and we should always give thanks for the blessings of
our community, for the blessing of this nation, for the
blessing under God. It is hugely important that we offer
up our thanks to God in that regard, and yet

(02:44):
there is disturbance out there in the world today, disturbance
as people who do not mean well but mean ill
are going out and targeting, targeting some of the Trump

(03:06):
nominees for that administration that is incoming uh in January.
We are seeing something that is so beyond the pale
and so ugly. We are getting reports in this very
day that we have people who have been targeted as

(03:29):
part of the nominations for their positions. They're at the
Trump White House at least Stephonic threats called in on
Lease Stephanic threats called in on mister Ratcliffe, threats called

(03:53):
in on Pete Hexeth, the DoD designate as the next
Secretary of Defense. And just in these last minutes and hours,
Matt Gates his home, despite the fact that he is
not a nominee at this stage of the game, has

(04:16):
been targeted with a bomb threat. A bomb squad had
reportedly been sent to Matt Gates's house after the former
Florida congressman received a pipe bomb threat. Number of Donald
Trump's top team were the target of death and bomb threats.
A spokesman said, we know some of these names. Obviously,

(04:38):
Elis Stephanic, John Ratcliffe, Pete Hexeth, and now mister Gates.
It is currently unclear whether the threat to mister Gates,
a close ally to President Donald Trump, the upcoming president
again who withdrew his name from consideration as Attorney general
last week, was genuine or a hoax. According to Punchball,

(05:01):
let me tell you something, when you get threats like that,
when you get threats on your life, when you get
threats on your family, when you get threats on your neighbors,
when you get any of that stuff happening, it is
every bit as real, every bit as real, whether or
not it's it's a hoax, whether or not it's any

(05:21):
of those things. And let's understand something here that I
think is particularly galling in this regard. How about how
about these are public servants, in some cases currently serving
right in the case of Elist Stephonic, a wonderful, bright, smart,

(05:45):
patriotic American who wants to serve, who is serving, Who
is the sort of person that you would want to
have in your neighborhood, in your community. These are people
who have a heart. And yet and yet the bitter

(06:05):
divide that has been constructed is horrible. It's ugly. It's
beneath us, especially in this time of Thanksgiving. I want
to reach across the aisle and point something out to

(06:27):
the people who are still angry about the way the
election went. I want to give them just a little
bit of a pick me up. You have seen so
many challenges in this country, we all have. We have
all seen this, but there is room. There is room

(06:49):
for us to be optimistic coming together as the American people. Now. Look,
I understand you don't like the outcome of the election,
and I understand we didn't like the outcome of the
election in twenty twenty. But elections have consequences and policies
will be made in accordance to the way the elections go.

(07:10):
And the thing I would want to tell you in
this time where you might be hurting, you might be upset,
you might be angry. You may feel like you don't
want to go to Thanksgiving dinner. You don't want to
go spend time with the relatives. You don't want to
spend time with your brother in law, your sister in law,
your any of those people you're you're just saying, I

(07:30):
just want to be out of here. I don't want
to be a part of this at all. You will
still benefit. You will still benefit by the election of
Donald Trump and Vice President JD. Vans and these cabinet
appointees who will take up the mantle when they are

(07:50):
confirmed getting into the next presidency. You are still going
to reap the benefit. See, in America, we don't go
around and go after our political enemies and deny them
their freedoms and liberally. Oh wait, I mean that that

(08:11):
was not a good call there. Whateverble you should not
have brought that up, because we do know that that
is what has happened in a punitive, in a punitive
sort of way. People locked up, people accused of things, people,
people not being free, people having their homes rummaged, people
having their mar a lago threatened by by the by

(08:34):
the FBI and Merrick Garland and all those people. Right,
we all understand what has happened here. And yet the
progressives are still gonna benefit. Heck, the commies are still
gonna benefit because you're gonna get those tax cuts, You're
gonna have more money in your pocket, You're gonna have

(08:54):
the ability to go buy the things you want for
your family. Inflation will come down, America will be stronger
and my gosh, there will be fewer wars. We're already
seeing peace and tranquility moving across the Middle East. Think

(09:21):
about that for a second. That is a fundamentally good
thing we see. Hasbola come in and say to bib
Net and Yahoo, we want to talk, we want to
cease fire, we want all of this to go away.
And then today this morning we hear from Hamas we
want to get back to the negotiating table. We want

(09:43):
to talk to you. That did not happen under President
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. Nor did it happen under the
Vice presidency of the Borders are in Kamala Harris. We
have now seen real and serious accomplishments happening because of

(10:09):
the belief that the nonsense is over and we are
going to get back to the business of being the
strongest country in the world. The men and women out
on the front lines, the young people who are becoming

(10:29):
renewed in the belief of the best and brightest of
this country stepping forward and serving, whether in the military,
whether in the business community, whether in any of those opportunities.
America is being renewed one day at a time. And

(10:53):
I understand you didn't vote for them. I understand you
may not like incoming president Donald Trump, former President Donald Trump.
I understand you may not like jd. Vance. I understand
you don't like any of it. But you're going to
love what's going to happen for you. And it's only
in America that we function in this particular way. Other

(11:18):
places around the world put people up against the firing squad.
Other people around the world take their opponents and jail them.
Oh wait a minute, most other places around the world.
But when you look at this and you see this,
I just want to say this to every progressive out there.
Don't be angry, don't lose your marbles, don't do any

(11:42):
of that sort of stuff. Just do this. Just do this.
It's very easy. You don't have to get up out
of your chair. You don't have to bring a whole
bunch of people over to your house. Here's what you do.
You sit there for a moment and you say, thank God,
thank God that I am in the United States of America,

(12:06):
a nation where anything is possible at any given time.
Just say thank you, thank you, thank you, mister president,
for doing the things you're going to do. And for
goodness sakes, there is no reason at all, no reason

(12:29):
I can fathom why you would want, in any way,
shape or form to walk away from the greatest country
in the world. Now. Not everybody is feeling this way, Mike,
mister Maimon. I want to go over to the phenomenal

(12:50):
wisdom of one of our greatest actresses, Sharon Stone cut
number four. She doesn't like what's happened. She's in Torino,
Italy yesterday, not racing cars, but she's at the Torino
Film Festival. Actress Sharon Stowed speaking and saying this.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
You know Italy has seen fascism, Italy has seen these things.
You guys, you understand what happens. You have seen this before.
My country is in its adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant.
Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naive and ignorant

(13:35):
and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.
We haven't seen this before in our country. So Americans
who don't travel, who eighty percent don't have a passport,
who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
This is incredible, This is amazing. She just took Hillary
Clinton's beer and said, hold mine, this is unbelievable. Eighty
percent of the people don't have passports. Well, let's be
honest with you, miss Stone. A lot of the eighty
percent that don't have the passports couldn't afford to go

(14:21):
over to Italy. They can't be kicking it with people
like George Clooney. They can't be kicking it with such
leading lights as the greatest actor of all time and
Alec Baldwin. I mean, my gosh, you think about this,
it's nonsense. It's wacko. They don't like the United States
of America, but they have the means and the ways

(14:44):
and the abilities to go travel all around the world.
And then if anything gets a little bit sideways in
any of these communities, where do they go? They come
running right back to the United States of America into
the warm, loving arms of Uncle Sam. It is the
freedoms that you have to say, these sorts of things
around the world. And by the way, if you were

(15:06):
to possibly look at this video clip when she's doing
this little rift that she's doing, you can see the
people around her kind of like going, what is she
talking about? I thought we were promoting a movie. There's
no more election going on. The election's done. Donald Trump
won the election. What is this all about? These actors
don't even know what to do about this. They're sitting
there going, wait a minute, we're supposed to sell this movie,

(15:27):
whatever this movie is. I don't know what the movie is,
but we're supposed to sell the movie. And what do
you get from them? You get a lecture. And America
is not in It's not in its adolescence. Hollywood maybe provencially,
you know, consistently in its adolescence acting adolescently. But the
American people understand exactly what the stakes are. When the

(15:49):
world starts to come apart, the American people go out
around this world and deliver the goods, the freedoms, the liberty,
all of that period full stop. America's in its adolescence,
and they're really really upset. Well, here's what you do.
You take them, you put them to bed, and you

(16:12):
don't give them any dinner, and then you give them
another chance tomorrow to act like an adult. My name
is Brett Wooterbule. It is a pleasure to be here
today with you on the Clay and Buck Show. Our
telephone number will be taking your calls. Eight hundred two
eight two two eight eight two eight hundred two eight
two two eight eight two big huge shout out to
uh Greg who's going to be out there screening. And

(16:33):
we've got Ali producing with us and leading the charge
alongside Mike, Maimon and Rachel. It is great to be here.
We'll get a break in, we'll be back right after this. Hey,

(16:54):
it's Buck Sexton from our home to yours. Have a
wonderful Thanksgiving from the Clay and Buck Show. It is
Brett wittable in for Clay and Buck on the Clay
and Buck Show. Eight hundred two two two eight a two.
It is great to be with you, and we've got
something great coming up next, a two story trump statue
being billet to commemorate what happened in Butler. Absolutely stick around.

(17:21):
I am Brett Witable. You're listening to Clay and Buck.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
And now back to Brett Winter Bowl filling in for
Clay and Buck.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
And it's great to be with you. Great stuff popping
all around us, and I want to give you a
great example of this. Let's go over to cut number seven.
We were talking about this just a couple of moments ago.
When we hit the break. This is Vice President Harris
with a special message for her supporter's lettering.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
I just have to remind you, don't you ever let
anybody take your power from you. You have the same
power that you did before November fifth, and you have
the same purpose that you did, and you have the
same ability to engage and inspire. So don't ever let

(18:25):
anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
So much has been made of this comment that she
just put out in the last twenty four hours, and
most of the people are pointing to it and saying
something's not right with her. She's either tired or maybe
she had something to drink or whatever that is. Here's
the problem. You would think that she would come out
with a much more inspirational message, something that's going to

(18:56):
get people to rise up so that they want to
be a part of the next big thing that she's
gonna be up to. And I don't believe for a
moment Vice President Harris has got any kind of a
chance of getting that nomination again. But nevertheless, she made
the people who voted for her into victims. She's doing
the victim thing. Don't let anybody take that power from you.

(19:19):
You're the same as you were on the field. No,
that is not the answer. That was a terrible framing
of an argument that she's trying to put out there, like, Oh,
we didn't win them this time, but we're gonna get
them next time. This is victimhood at its greatest zenith.
And you see, this is the problem with the party

(19:41):
over there on the left, Democratic Party. They don't know
where to go because what they cling to so much,
so much is victimization, and they don't believe for a
moment that these people can get out of that mess.

(20:02):
But for what government, But for what victimhood? But for
what all the same sort of tired examples that we
have seen. Look at all the energy that's going on
on the other side of the equation with the with
the new Trump administration. Everybody's talking about Doge, everybody's talking
about the economy, everybody's talking about America being stronger, and

(20:25):
more than any of that, everybody is talking about the
border being enforced. It's it's a huge it's a huge
flipping of circumstances. MSNBC twenty one, twenty two days ago.
They were riding high going into that election. They were

(20:46):
throwing Hitler around, they were throwing everything around that they
could possibly throw around. And now there are actual conversations
being had behind the scenes that indicate that what's going
to happen to MSNBC is ewon us're gonna buy it?
Is that what's going to be The very fact that
they're having that conversation shows you that this thing has changed.

(21:08):
The old tactics have changed. This is a totally new playbook.
You know, for a lot of years, with all due
respect to the Kansas City Chiefs, you know, they were
a fine team year in and year out, and then
they got Patrick Mahomes, and then they got titles, and
then they got more titles. And now they're going for,

(21:29):
you know, a third shot at this, assuming that they
can that they can pull that off. The point of
the matter is this game has changed. Look at what
you've got on the on the side of Vice President
Harris and her supporters, older people who are stuck in
their old ways. They're not innovating, they're not communicating, they're

(21:51):
not doing any of that stuff. All I have to
do is look at the newspaper, look at the stuff
that's out there, and I know exactly what's coming our
way from them. Now you go on the other side
of the equation, You've got viveg Ramaswami, you've got Elon Musk,
You've got the Doge Project, You've got energy. You've got
Tom Homan going around and saying, listen, we're going to

(22:13):
enforce the border. The border's going to be fixed. That's
how we're going to handle this situation. Vice President Harris
just came out and said nothing. It was gobbledegook. It
doesn't mean anything. The energy is all on the other side.
One hundred percent of the time. It's all on the
other side. There is no substitution here for the hard

(22:34):
work and the connectivity to the world. When you saw,
unfortunately former president then former President Donald Trump shot at Butler,
everybody stopped in their tracks. And he took that and
turned it into the biggest moment in world political history

(22:58):
that anybody can look back to. The fist in the air.
And now they are building a two story Trump statue
drawing on his iconic defiance post assassination attempt is under
construction and they're looking to put it up as a
monument in Butler, Pennsylvania. That's over at Bright Part if
you want to read about it. But this is an incredible,

(23:20):
incredible thing that we're seeing. The energy, the enthusiasm, the excitement.
I mentioned Tom Holman. Tom Holman went out and started
working with the folks who are out there now on
the front lines, serving them lunch, serving them Thanksgiving dinner
out there on the front lines. Do you know what

(23:42):
that is? That's not the mean, angry politician. What you
just saw take place with Tom Homan out there on
the front lines they're in Texas is servant leadership. You
have a party on one side that wants to spend
its time being victims, and you have somebody on the

(24:03):
other side who wants to fix problems because it's the
nature of the order. You have people that want to
fix problems. And it is so beyond the type that
the left cannot understand it, that the cable channels cannot

(24:23):
understand it. They're sitting back saying, wait a minute, how
is this happening? How is this happening? It's because you've
got a builder in charge instead of a victim in charge.
You've got people going out and yelling at the at
the lakes, at the Great Lakes to try to get
all the energy and the anger out from the election.

(24:44):
And still those people, as I mentioned in the beginning
of the program, still those people will benefit from the
better economy, from the reduced inflation, from the ability to
purchase a home, to offer a vacation to your kids,
to do all of this stuff. All you have to
do to become free is to stand up, take one

(25:05):
step forward, and say I'm in, all in, because there
is no place in the world like America. Eight two
eight A two. I'm Brent Winterble in for Clay and
Buckets the Clay and Bucks Show. We'll be back right after.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
This Clay Travasy, You're happy Thanksgiving from all of us
at the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
Only celebrities are disgraceful. If they're embarrassing to most of
Americans the way they act, the way they live their lives,
they're all a bunch of losers. And besides, Italy would
be under Nazi rule if it wasn't for the United
States of America bringing the world from Nazi Germany. And

(26:00):
don't let our bed friends hard work and sacrifice doing
thing because people like.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
This great stuff, great stuff coming in from Oklahoma. And
look that is exactly what it is. I mean, this
is unbelievable. That was a talkback joining us here a
new feature, and it's incredible. My name's Brett Woodable. I'm
in for Clay and Buck. Here our telephone number eight
hundred two A two two eight A two and let's

(26:28):
go out to the phones and check in with Paul
in Utah. Paul, welcome to the Clay and buckshow.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
Hey, thanks for having me on. You're doing a great
job filling in for the guys. It sounds like you
got a call back there on exactly what I was.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Going to call about.

Speaker 7 (26:43):
I'm in my blood pressure and my heart just went
through the roof when I'm hearing this crap from people
like Stone. My grandfather was a CBE in World War Two,
fought on the front of a bulldozer, making runways on
the on the front lines in World War Two. I
think it's at a lesson. Country is the one that
helped crush fascism. We don't need lecturing from these Condon

(27:05):
sending looking down their nose, arrogant elite. I'm sick of
this crap.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Look, it's it's totally understandable that you are You're sick
and tired of this, especially with your famili's great contribution
to keeping the world free and what's making Let's make
no mistake, it's we did keep the entire world free. Now,
let me ask you a question here, Paul, As you
look at the at the things that are happening in
this country right now, some of them improving, some of
them need much greater improvement. What is your number one

(27:32):
issue when you're looking at the direction of this country.
What's your number one absolute need when you consider where
we are today.

Speaker 7 (27:42):
To be completely honest with you, strong families, strong fathers.
Everything starts in the home. I've been teaching my kids
from day one, when they walk out the door, when
they when we leave church, that's when it starts. If
those values are taught from day one, we have strong
foundational families. Every time something else fallows into place, and
putting God back in our country. This country was founded

(28:05):
on faith, and it's in our constitution, it's in our
Bill of Rights, it's in our you know the preamble
it all. If we put Him first and we build
our family strong, everything will fall into place.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Everything great stuff. Paul, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving,
God bless you and I appreciate you being on the
show today.

Speaker 8 (28:26):
Sir, have the good work, my friend.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Thanks much. Let's go to Ryan in Pearl River, New York. Ryan,
your thoughts on this.

Speaker 9 (28:34):
Day, Brett, You are awesome. And Donald Trump wants to
do a mass deportation and foreign leaders are saying they
won't take the deporties back. Well, these foreign leaders and
their golf is love to fly into America for their
cocaine and coral girl parties, and we're not going to

(28:54):
let them fly in here anymore, and they're going to
take the deporties.

Speaker 8 (28:58):
On first day. An executive order for race quotas, it
has to be pulled out by the roots. And finally,
you could bring home Americans who are out in the Midwest,
in the South, all over this great country who feel
they've been neglected, they've been turned on. They tried to
get government jobs, they can't get them. They can't get

(29:19):
promotions because the race quotas. They can't get promoted in
the military because of race. Quote is that executive order
on day one has to be pulled out by the roots.
And finally, these foreign countries will bring their criminals into
this country. We've got to make these foreign leaders accountable
for it. They're double dipping. They have access to legal

(29:40):
immigration and a legal immigration no nod.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Listen, I understand what you're saying, and I get I
get your perspective there. Okay, But here's the important thing
to understand. We as a stronger nation have the ability
to call the tunes. We have the ability to say, listen,
people are welcome to come to the United States of America,
no matter what race, creed, color, orientation, any of that stuff,

(30:06):
as long as you want to make this country a
stronger nation, but you must do it legally. You can't
sneak in in the dark of night. It doesn't work
this way, and it's never going to work that way.
People should be proud to come to the United States
to stand on that line and say, listen, I want
to be a part of this. And by the way,

(30:27):
while we're at it, if people want to talk about
bringing people into the United States of America becoming citizens,
the United States military is an awfully great way for
folks to get naturalized and to work in the best
possible ways of the United States. It's a no brainer.
We as a nation, through history have built not just

(30:52):
a country, We have built a brand. And what we
have done with this brand is diminish it because we
just let anybody walk in do whatever they're gonna do,
and they get away with it, and it's not right.
In fact, coming up in the very beginning of this
next hour, we're gonna be joined by Ken Paxton from
the great state of Texas. He is the Attorney general there,

(31:14):
and we're gonna go into a deep dive on the
border issue and of course also his moves on black
Rock and Vanguard as well. So we're very excited about that.
Let me go out and talk to James in Spokane.
Next up, James, Welcome to the show. What's on your mind?

Speaker 9 (31:31):
Wow?

Speaker 10 (31:33):
Thanks for having me on. I'm really I'm really glad
to see how Twump is being true to who he
is as a person. He's in there to get the win,
to get the fight, to take back some things for America,
to make America great again. And you see on the
left how there's there's all these talking points you see

(31:55):
on the view the division, and but Trump he puts
himself out there and in the Democratic Party you have
division and when things don't go their way more division
instead of introspection.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Well right, well, because people think and thank you for
the call of very much there, James and Spokane. People
think it's easy to get out there and create a movement.
It's not. It takes a lot of work. It takes
a whole lot of work, all of us. Watch what
Barack Obama was able to accomplish with the support of
the media, with the support of the progressives, with the

(32:36):
support of the left and the Marxist left and Bill
Yerrs and all that sort of stuff. Right, that was
a totally new approach. But that was not an approach
that could be replicated because once you see the way
the game is played, you're able to kind of take
that apart. You have to have a core set of
values about what the country is. All right. Well, you

(32:59):
had a caller there a couple of minutes ago who
was saying, look, God's got to be put first. God
is mentioned first. Freedom of religion is mentioned number one
in the first Amendment of the Constitution. All right, the
Bill of Rights. You have the right for religious freedom.

(33:20):
That's the number one right we have. Without that, everything

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose.
