Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to the Wednesday edition of the Clay
(00:03):
Travis and Buck Sexton Show. We are here in NYC
and have much discussed with all of you across the country.
Thanks for being here with us. We have the continued reaction, commentary,
and investigation in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination.
(00:24):
Some details from that case specifically, also some of the
reactions you're seeing, for example Late night TV show that
the Democrats the left are living in a fantasy world.
Beyond that we have Barack Obama has weighed in on this. Now, yes,
we'll discuss Obama making his first public remarks on Charlie
Kirk's assassination, and we'll will see how I think, Clay,
(00:50):
some Democrats are starting to realize that they are looking
too crazy and it's a threat to their power. I
don't think that it is a problem for them ethically
or morally so much, because I just don't think the
Democrat blob thinks in moral terms. It thinks in emotional
mob mentality terms. But I do think they realize if
(01:10):
they don't tone down the crazy a little bit. Some
of them realize this, not all of them, obviously, but
I think they recognize the whole gameplay is people like
Schumer and Pelosi are out there and Obama are out
there trying to tell Democrat donors and more normy Democrats.
It gives them an excuse to continue to be Democrats
(01:31):
because they say, how crazy could it really be? Chuck
Schumer's been in this game for forty years, Nancy Pelosi's
been in this game for like one hundred years. You know,
how could this? And they're really just what Joe Biden
was as president, a facade for the radical leftism. They
are a psychological trojan horse, or maybe a psychological pivot
(01:51):
point for people because they allow them to think that
their party is not radical. They allow them to convince themselves, oh,
Democrats aren't really that crazy. So we will dive into
some of that, some of that reaction, but I wanted
to start with. Oh, and Clay had his stephen A
debate yesterday. I was there. I did tell Clay, you know,
watch watch out for the left hook, you know, make
(02:14):
make sure that you go for the body. And mister
Travis acquitted himself very well, I must say, on stage,
did quite well. It was I would say, was really
just a friendly exchange more of a converse. Yeah, yeah.
And and by the way, I all do credit to
stephen A for being both respectful and you know, well
eloquent clearly, but respectful and eloquent uh in the in
(02:36):
the exchange as well. So I wish there'd be more
of this. I wish people of relatively similar standing. You know,
you're a big name on the right and have a
following in this show, and and OutKick and stephen A,
you know, obviously has a big following at ESPN. You
guys disagree on some stuff, you agree on some stuff.
I wish this was much more common. So that's something
(02:57):
we can talk about later. There are so few places
now where, and in the aftermath of the Charlie assassination,
it just feels like where can we have these open
form debates and discussions. So we'll get into all of that.
But first up here, Clay, I'm gonna I'm gonna read
this to you a little bit. And there's been some
reaction to this in the in the news media as well,
(03:18):
that we will discuss. Do not worry. We we read it.
We read it in all night and then all morning,
and we're aware of what has been said by some
about this exchange. So this is from the shooter Robinson
to his trans furry roommate lover. I think that's the
I think that's an accurate discussion transferry roommate lover. I
(03:39):
was looking for the word. Yes, I was like, paramore
sounds like I'm, you know, writing a you know, like
a romance novel or something. So teen furry trans lover
and I'm sorry, uh trans furry lover. Whatever, you get
what I'm saying. Uh uh Here he is Robinson. I
am still okay, my love, but I'm stuck in Orum
(04:01):
for a little while longer yet, shouldn't be long until
I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still.
To be honest, I hope to keep this secret till
I died of old age. I am sorry to involve
you. You weren't the one who did it, right, The roommate says,
I am, I'm sorry. I thought they caught the person. No,
(04:22):
they grabbed some crazy old dude. They interrogated someone in
similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle for
my drop points shortly after, but most of this this
side of town got locked down. It's quiet, almost enough
to get out, but there's one vehicle lingering Clay, your
reaction to that. Let's just start going through this, you know,
piece by piece. What's your sense of this? This text
exchange between the shooter and his lover.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I think a lot of times this is the case
you play moron or intent, and this guy, according to reports,
was very smart, did fantaststically well, ninety ninth percentile on
the Act, got a scholarship to college. I would think
(05:07):
that he would know that every text that he is
going to send is going to be reviewed, admissible and
used against him. So my first thought is and that
this is just me being someone who's been involved in
investigations before. If you truly had committed a murder like
(05:28):
this and wanted to keep it secret, the worst thing
you could do is text all of these things to anyone.
Probably would at least make a phone call, because you
can always argue and lie about what was said in
the phone call, and you can be like, no, it
didn't have anything to do with the Charlie Kirk situation.
It seems very strange to me that your first thought
(05:50):
would be to put in writing that you are responsible
for this, So moro on or intent is what I
immediately come to.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
So the roommate verse says, and again I'm reading from
these texts that have come out. The FBI has released these.
Why Robinson, Why did I do it? Roommate? Yeah, I
had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out.
If I'm able to grab my rifle unseen, I will
have left no evidence going to attempt to retrieve it again,
(06:19):
hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything about
them finding it. Let's pause for second here. Clay left
no evidence? Is I mean? You know what I'm saying,
Like this guy he had prints all over the rifle
he left the right, left the rifle behind. You thought
that the that the FBI wouldn't find. I know, he's this.
I'm just saying he's supposed to be so smart, Hi,
(06:41):
he know high sat or act. Rather, he thought the
FBI wouldn't find the hunting rifle that he used to
kill this guy that he left at the scene. I mean,
that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I
agree with all of that. So again, to your point,
something weird is going on.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
More on or intentional text, I think is the question
that you should have in your head, you.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Know, is he trying to establish a text based record
of well, this person had no idea, that's whatsoever? Me
no idea that I was going to do this. I
want to you know. And it's interesting because I think
there's a lot of inference here that at least the
shooter was driven to do this at some level by
(07:22):
his clear I'm not you know, he's having a sexual
relationship with it with a transferring person, and so it's
interesting that he would have done this but not told
that person.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Also that he would have done this not told that
person and decide to tell them in text again, wouldn't
this be something that you would make a phone call about?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Totally? Totally? So I agree with you that we're reading
this through to you, to all of you, so that
you can know something doesn't add up here. Okay, here
you go. I've had enough of it. We was talking
with this yesterday. Enough of his hatreds. You're gonna kill
somebody because you don't like his words and you think
he's the hateful one, and these people there insane? All right, roommate,
how long have you been planning this? A bit over
a week, I believe I can get close, but there
(08:05):
is a squad car parked right by it. I think
they already swept that spot, but I don't want to
chance it. So he was going to go back to
the scene, Clay and try to take this rifle. Robinson.
I wish I had circled back and grabbed as soon
as I went to my vehicle. I'm worried what my
old man would do if I didn't bring back my
grandpa's rifle. I don't know if it had a serial number.
Obviously it does, but it would trace to me. I'm
(08:27):
worried about Prince. I had to leave it in a
bush where I changed outfits. I didn't have the ability
or time to bring it with I might have to
abandon it and hope they don't find Prince. But how
will I explain losing this to my old man? I
left the rifle wrapped in a towel. Remember how I
was engraving bullets. The messages there's a lot of f
words in here. I'm not going to read those, obviously.
The messages are mostly a big meme. If I see
(08:48):
notices bulges on Fox News, I might have a stroke.
All right, I'm gonna leave it why would you do
this unless you were trying to create a narrative that
you wanted to create, right, Clay, I mean that.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yes, I mean I think the only reason to do
this again, he's either a moron and he believed there
was no way to track text messages and he believed
that his lover was going to delete all these text
messages and they would never be uncoverable, or he wanted
there to be a record of all of these things
(09:20):
to make it look like he was acting completely alone.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
So which is it?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
And look, sometimes people behave as morons, So I think
you can make the argument, hey, he was a moron
in the way that he acted in the wake of
an assassination. What I come back to over and over
again is if all of this was true, would you
text it? It seems very strange not to call someone.
(09:45):
And I understand some of you out there who have
kids and grandkids may the reality might be they don't
talk on the phone as much as you or I
might have, But wouldn't you FaceTime if you were gonna.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Also the way yeah, absolutely, but also the way that
it's written strikes me as a little bit weird. Just
the it feels very it feels very formal. Uh, it
feels like this is almost like a courtroom transcript. Do
you know what I mean? Why did I do it? Well?
I did. It's because I had You know, there's there's this.
(10:18):
This isn't really how people, certainly twenty somethings speak.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
It feels like he's making a record, And I think
the most likely So you ask me so, and I'll
get your reaction on this too. My most likely take
here is he's trying to make it look like he
acted entirely on his own and nobody else was involved,
and that is why he has been so direct in
(10:43):
providing all of this information to the UH to the FBI.
There's also the possibility that a part of him wants
credit and this was his way to ensure that he
got credit. Look, there are multiple different angles you could
take on exactly why he did it. To me, the
most likely is to try to make people think this
(11:03):
was entirely me and nobody else was involved.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah, I think that that's certainly what makes sense. What
we're seeing here doesn't make much sense to me. It's
very straight. And also that that we're told this guy
is so smart, but that he lacks the technological sophistication
to understand that they would see all of this stuff,
and that he like the notion if you're worried, here's
(11:27):
my thing. If you're worried about leaving evidence behind, why
would you write a confession online? This is It doesn't
It doesn't act. I don't want I don't want to
leave the rifle, but I did. It is what this
guy literally, I mean, this is what this guy's doing here.
I mean, clearly right, that's bizarre. So you have this
pretense of I think, I you know, the shooter thinks
he can get away with this heinous crime, but he's
(11:48):
also confessing online and to your point, not even in
a phone call. So there's either something funky going on
here or this kid is actually somehow a moron, even
though he got good grades, which that wouldn't be the
first time. Yeah, it just doesn't add it doesn't add up.
It seems very intentional to create a narrative here. And
I would remind everybody of what was said yesterday by
(12:10):
Cash Patel, and I was talking about you know what, actually, Clai,
can we come back to this many I was saying
that we need them to go online and see what's
going on in these dark corners of discord on the internet.
FBI is doing that. Looks like FBI is using the
gee Hottest counter terror playbook to go after these left
wing trantifa terrorist types. You know what, we can discuss
(12:34):
what the name will be. But I do think that
they recognize that this is necessary and there's some we're
gonna find out some really chilling stuff online from what's
going on here all right. Speaking of online cyber scammers,
they're out there, they're all over the place. But the
rise of AI, they're finding really creative ways of tricking you.
The bad guys, unfortunately, are smart. They'll use AI to
(12:55):
construct believable emails that will trick you into clicking a link.
I get, Clay, Do you ever get I get these emails.
I've got a bunch of pase. I get these emails
pretending to be from major companies, pretending to be from PayPal,
pretending to be from Google. Oh you know it's from
the from the help desk, just click here. I get
them all the time. It is really easy to get
tripped up by this stuff. That's why you need to
have a LifeLock membership. It's like having a security guard
(13:18):
for your online info. Get a membership for an older
family member who might become might be even more prone
to these AI scams, but honestly have it for yourself
as well. LifeLock monitors millions of data points looking for
evidence that a scammer has your info and is using
it illegally. They leave and call people on the phone.
They have these robo cult to use AI to pretend
someone that they have someone's voice, they have a different voice.
(13:39):
And if you do become a victim of identity theft,
a dedicated US based LifeLock restoration a specialist will fix
it guaranteed or your money back. Easy. To help protect

Terms apply's lay Travis and buck Sexton Mike drops that
never sounded so good. Find them on the free iHeartRadio
app or wherever you get your podcast.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. You can
weigh in and let us know what you think about
these text messages. I do think the positive of all
of this coming out, although we're going to play you
some audio to suggest that it still hasn't completely gotten through.
A lot of people have been arguing, and we told you,
(14:32):
and we think it's important for you to understand what's
being said. Across the entirety of the political spectrum. There's
been a concerted effort to try to make it appear
that the responsible parties for the Charlie Kirk assassination were
believe it or not, white supremacist, that Charlie Kirk was
killed because he wasn't far right enough, and those have
(14:55):
been aggressively argued and wandered on the internet. I do
I think these text messages are making it more difficult
to argue with a straight face that this was anything
other than what we all knew to be the case,
which is this is left wing motivated violence. And I
do think the FBI the more they put out, including
(15:17):
interviews with the parents, because you saw the dishonest talk
where they had headlines saying, oh, this is a huge
Trump supporting family, and they're all this guy was a
Trump supporter, and they did their best to try to
make it seem as if the people responsible for Charlie
Kirk's murder were not now, I actually think the evidence
(15:39):
that they released points to their being more of an
involvement of multiple people, And this was this guy's attempt
to try and drive everybody else away from recognizing that
this was part of a larger conspiracy. He may well
have acted alone in the shooting, but I think it's
going to come out that there were lots of people away,
(16:00):
maybe multiple people involved in planning the overall shooting here,
Because to your point, Buck, if you're going through the
trouble of trying to hide the gun, and if you're
going through the trouble of trying to change clothes and
all those things, it seems very odd that you would
just admit to all of this via text message, and
that you would try and cloak whoever the you know,
(16:24):
your boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever classification we want to put this
person in, was not involved. And again he's evidently not
cooperating with authorities at all. That has been the report
that has come out. In other words, he turned himself in,
but he hasn't then set down and answered every question
and tried to explain exactly what his motivations were. And
(16:47):
where this came from. That would seem to run in
direct conflict with all these texts which provide essentially a
roadmap for exactly why he did what he did.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yeah, I think that the investigation into this has already
given us more than enough for us to know what
the motivation was for this attack. I think we knew
the motivation the moment that we knew that Charlie had
been shot. This this is not a this is not
a difficult thing to figure out, but it is a
game that the Left plays when they don't like the
(17:18):
storyline and who it points to, then all of a
sudden it's we may never know. And certainly they used
to do this with jihatas terrorism all the time. We
may never know the real motive. Remember that that was
a big thing during the Obama years too. We'll never
know the real motive, and the guy would be someone
who you know ran in with a suicide bomber vest
On yelling Alahuac bar and like this is for isis
And they're like, we'll never know the motive. No, we
(17:39):
know the motive, and we know the motive with Charlie
Kirk and the efforts that you see in the media
to pretend otherwise it's just pure disinformation and playing into
the left's delusion that they haven't created this atmosphere and
that there aren't monsters that agree with their same well,
you know, with the same beliefs that they have.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Come back in here to play and buck. We have
been discussing the investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk
and where things stand right now. And Cash Betel was
speaking earlier at the House Judiciary Committee, and yesterday I
brought up that when I had done counter terrorism work
years and years ago, they would go into these extremist
(19:16):
chat rooms where people would, yes, they would share this
was all about Islamic terrorism, which I think you all know.
They would share Quranic verses. They would say a lot
of mean things about Americans and about Christians and about Jews,
particularly about Jews. Now that's not illegal, but sometimes they
would then start to say, you know, maybe we should
(19:37):
start to plan something or put something together, and that's
where the conversations turned to something actionable for law enforcement
or at least further scrutiny. Perhaps you put an undercover
in place. Things like that right so that I think
needs to happen, and that whole apparatus of tracking ideologically
(19:58):
based violence terrorism SA thing that needs to be a
priority of the FBI because this guy, the shooter of
Charlie Kirk, he did not do this in a vacuum.
He had other people that share his beliefs. He has
a lot of people from very high up actually magnifying
many of these beliefs. Just the fact that they use
the term genocide to speak about trans people. Not that
(20:20):
anyone's killing all the trans people, but they're erasing them
because they're refusing to live in their delusion, and that
is considered by the left a genocide. I mean, right,
you think about the way that the tortured logic that
is involved in all this. But here is Cash Bettel
speaking about what they're finding online already, This is cut twelve.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
Maybe most importantly, under the counter terrorism and Domestic terrorism
arella are nilis violent extremist and those that label themselves
seven six' four who wish to go online and convince
children to maim and mutilate themselves and commit. Suicide and
we are producing record numbers of arrests under that umbrella.
Organization we even stopped an individual in the seven to
(21:03):
six four network who wanted to conspire to kill an adolescent.
Girl he is now in.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Custody, clay there are lunatics out there that believe in
the same left wing As cash, said, nihilistic violent extremism
of the, left and this is going to be something
that we have to face up to and we have
to defeat this.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Movement this is WHY i, said AND i hate to say,
it BUT i don't think this is going to end
With Charlie. Kirk this guy believes he's a hero and
he is willing to kill on behalf of as this
guy is and many other people on behalf of the
idea That trump Is, hitler that we're All, nazis that
(21:43):
we're in a fascist. Dictatorship and that's WHY i think
the lies that are being told about this assassin on
the left are so. Significant they recognize that it is
debilitating to their political arguments among normal people if they
understand why this guy acted the way that he. Did
(22:05):
AND i JUST i don't even see this as being remotely.
Complicated AND i know most of you agree with. Me
if you spend ten years calling Someone hitler and calling
someone A, nazi and there are enough people that go
down the rabbit hole here and are willing to buy
into the argument that you're. Making the logical extension Is
(22:28):
i've got to kill these. PEOPLE i, mean and this
is was back in the. Day we used to have
this as kind of a ridiculous. Debate but you would,
say would you kill Baby?
Speaker 4 (22:39):
Hitler?
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Right and people would, say, oh it's a, baby and you'd, say,
oh but It's hitler and you know what he's gonna
do In World War? Two and this was in the
Pre trump. Era you would have people kind of sitting
around at dinner table or you'd have a beer at
the bar and you're debating, this and these guys buy
into the fact That trump Is. Hitler they buy into
the fact that we're All, nazis and they're sharing things
(23:01):
That Charlie kirk never said to create this Cartoonish hitler
LIKE ss member criteria For Charlie, kirk and it led
to him getting. KILLED i just the fact that there's
not an acknowledgment of this. Now saying individual people are
(23:21):
responsible for the actions of others is more, challenging, Obviously
but people, say, oh, well there's violence on both, sides
and what did they point. To they point to The
Minnesota State legislature members who were. Killed and then you
saw that that guy had written a sort of manifesto
(23:42):
and it was clearly a crazy. Person there was no
logic behind it at. All the logic behind this guy's,
actions while, perverse while, awful they actually add. Up he
believes words are. Violence he Believes Charlie kirk filled with,
hate and he believes he is. Justified this killer does
(24:05):
to Kill Charlie kirk as a.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Result this is also bringing it into The islamic terrorism.
Context this is they would justify the most heinous things
imaginable by saying we are under assault they meaning The,
west and by The west they mean they call us
crusaders And jews right for THE, us And Israel Great,
Satan Little. Satan all of that that because of the
(24:27):
horrible things they have done to, us anything that we
do to them is justified in retribution and to prevent
more of what they're. Doing so The jihadis philosophy was
we go into a marketplace and we, kill you, know
fifty people in some. Country even if we kill Mostly,
(24:47):
muslims Those muslims will go to. Heaven this, is by the,
way this is straight out of their straight out of their.
Beliefs and you, know trust, me we had cracked the.
Code we knew what they were texting and on their
phones and everything. Else the Innocent muslims that they kill
go to, heaven or if they Weren't jihattists, themselves then
they were going to hell, anyway and they're, evil so
it doesn't. Matter so the point, Is and then if
(25:07):
they killed some other, people, right you, know Some, americans
or then that's like bonus to. Them they had an
entirely coherent in the sense that it, followed and it
was an ideology that was widespread that even had nation
state support at that, time depending on which countries you're talking.
About it wasn't just someone who was hearing crazy voices
(25:27):
that said go kill somebody like that happens. Too that
is a different, thing, right having a coherent belief system
that drives you to, violence especially one that's being amplified
from the very top of The Democrat party in this.
Country if you're calling your Opponent's nazis without, basis which
is what they've been doing for over a, decade you
were creating the grounds for somebody to feel justified in
(25:49):
murdering any of Those. Nazis that is what they have,
done and they've created a. MONSTER i, mean this is
Doctor frankenstein's. Monster this is straight up what they have.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
DONE i think this is scarier than somebody being crazy
two points, one somebody who is. Crazy there's always and
unfortunately going to be a lot of crazy, people and
they behave in ways that are completely. Illogical for, instance
someone who is in the midst of schizophrenia might attack
and kill someone because they believe that there's some sort
(26:18):
of evil spirit involved in another body or something like.
That and you see it and you, say, okay that
is someone in the grips of extreme mental.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
What's the what's the? Frequency? Kenneth, uh what's that? Story who's?
Speaker 4 (26:31):
That you?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Know i'm talking about em? Song, no, no, no there
was a there was a guy who who didn't he
push somebody or, something you, know or he was hearing?
Voices was It? Dan? Yes it was it Was Dan? Rather, Right,
Yeah Dan rather was A i'm, Sorry i'm trying to
remember the Stories i'm talking. To Dan rather was assaulted
by a guy who is. Screaming what's the, Frequency, Kenneth,
yeah that that's that's neither right nor. Left that's a. Lunatic,
(26:55):
truly that is a. Lunatic there are lots of, there's,
there's there's No New York times articles saying if we
don't find out the frequency From, kenneth you, know all
hell is going to break. Loose. No, yeah so crazy.
People thank, you Producer. Mike by the, way everyone's looking
at me LIKE i was.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Crazy, yes crazy people behave in irrational, fashions and trying
to make sense of what they do is, impossible and
attributing their decision making to any individuals.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Is difficult to.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Do this guy responded in a coherent and rational way
to the argument Of hitler And nazis second Part, buck
and this is the scarier part to. Me he's being,
celebrated and they'll play some audio for you where they're
trying to deny that this is. Happening but tens of,
thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people have gone
(27:40):
on Their facebook, Pages twitter, pages LinkedIn, profiles wherever you,
are TikTok on social, media and they have endorsed and
celebrated the killing Of Charlie.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Kirk that reminds, Me. Clay we talked about the text
exchange which we, read and it feels just a. Language
the whole thing feels stilted and. Weird and Also i'm
not saying this guy was obviously some kind of a criminal.
Mastermind he had no record. Before BUT i just can't
imagine someone is so dumb that they think they've left
no evidence and then they're confessing online LIKE i don't
(28:13):
know what. World and also he thinks he's not going
to be seen on. Video he's caught on video many,
times you. Know, anyway the text exchange is very strange
to us for those. REASONS abc has a reporter Named Matt,
gutman And i'm just gonna let you all hear what
this guy. Is how this guy is describing the text
(28:34):
exchange between the evil assassin and his transferry boyfriend girlfriend. Situation,
okay play.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
It we have seen an alleged murder with such specific
text messages about the alleged murder, weapon where it was,
hidden how it was, placed what was on. It but
also it was very touching in a way THAT i
think many of us didn't, expect very intimate tortuit into
this relationship between the suspect's roommate and the suspect, himself
(29:05):
with him repeatedly calling his roommate who was transitioning calling
him my love AND i want to protect, you my.
Love so was this duality of someone, who the attorney,
said not only jeopardized the life Of Charlie kirk and the,
crowd but was doing it in front of, children which
is one of the aggravating circumstances of this. Case and
on the other, hand he, was you, know speaking so.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Lovingly about his.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Partner so very, interesting As pierre said riveting.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Press, Conference, clay do you think for one second any
employee OF, ABC nbccbsc and any of those news outlets
would refer to a text exchange between the shooter of
the of The black, church you, know the mass shooting
in that black church In South, carolina if he had
texted his girlfriend sweet things in one of the exchanges
where he was do you think that they would say
(29:49):
that there was of course not. Right there's a as they.
Shouldn't there's a bizarre sympathy here on display FROM, abc
not ONLY.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
ABC i think we're going to play a clip FROM
cnn last night where they're trying to now turn this
killer into a victim and, say, oh he was motivated
by his deep love of his trans, partner and he
felt rejected by his family At trump, supporters and so
(30:19):
the only thing he could do was.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Murder someone in cold.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Blood this is not someone who deserves in any way
empathy or sympathy or. Respect and, unfortunately when you are
on the left and you are a, killer people lionize.
YOU i, mean we didn't talk about it, much but
down the street from where we are right, now In
(30:43):
New York, city there were people on the street celebrating
when charges were dropped Against Luigi mangioni. YESTERDAY i think
dropping the charges was. Moronic but, Again i'm less troubled
by one person making an awful decision THAN i am
by the celebration of that person making the awful. Decision
(31:06):
which is the world in which we now. Live and
we'll play some of these cuts BECAUSE i think it's
important for you to understand what is being said this
about this individual and the defenses that are out there
for him when we come. Back in, fact we'll play
some of those cuts for.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
You when inflation lingers and when we hear the federal,
deficit it's only going to grow. Larger do you ever

Podcasts welcome back In Clay Travis Buck Sexton. Show appreciate
all of you hanging out with. Us we should, mention
by the, way THE abc employee who we played the cut,
for after massive criticism, online decided that he was going
to apologize for what he had. Said and this was
(32:56):
that when he tried allowed just read his. Apology this
Is Matt, GUTMAN Abc news.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Reporter, yes CAN i just SAY i didn't know that he'd,
Apologized So clay knew this and he just told me.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
YESTERDAY i tried to underscore the jarring contrast between the
cold blooded assassination Of Charlie, kirk a man who dedicated
his life to public, dialogue and the, personal disturbing text
read aloud by The Utah County attorney at the press.
CONFERENCE i deeply regret that my words did not make that,
(33:28):
clear but let there be zero. DOUBT i unequivocally condemn
the horrific crime and the pain it Caused Charlie kirk's.
Family those who were forced to witness it AT uvu
and the millions of people he. Inspired he did not
INCLUDE i am a moron and should not be able
to continue to do live news. Reports that was the subtext.
(33:49):
Thing but that IS i think something that many of
you may well feel in the wake of him trying
to humanize.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Them there are so Many there are so many people
ON tv CLAN i talk about. This you guys, are
first of, all many of you used to rush and
now you listen to, us and you're used to people
who just talk and think on the fly all the.
Time there are a lot of people that you see
doing stand ups with a microphone in their, hand going
ON Abc news at, night and if they haven't prepared
(34:16):
what they're going to say about the news thing that
they're going to talk, about it goes off the rails really.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Fast this is WHAT i one of the many clips
that are out there THAT i think is. Important this
aired ON Cnn Montel. WILLIAMS i don't know How Montel
williams ended up as one of THE cnn talking.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Heads he was horrible ON. Covid i'm gonna tell. You
he came after me very aggressively ON covid online and
he was wrong and he should apologize because he was
an idiot at one, point a, moron. Truly, yeah at one.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Point Montell williams had one of the most popular shows on.
Television now he's just one of eight talking. Heads but he, said,
look listen to them try to spin the assassin into a. Victim,
here listen to cut twenty. Seven this is what you
would have heard ON cnn last.
Speaker 6 (34:59):
NIGHT i believe he was motivated. POLITICALLY i think this
was motivated. EMOTIONALLY i think this was an emotionally stunded
person who literally want to say this way here he
tried to defend his significant, other not trying to defend some.
Speaker 7 (35:14):
Ideology we're not all, stupid and we're not all going
to fall for people saying incredibly stupid things because it
makes people who should do some reflection feel like they
can avoid.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
It, clay remember it was a long time. Ago it
was actually a very sad. Story there was a guy
for The columbia national soccer team who in The World
cup scored an own. Goal his last name was Actually. Escobar,
yeah and he was killed and someone shot him and
said thanks for the. Goal. Right imagine if everyone, said
we don't know why he was. Shot that's pretty much
where we are With Charlie, kirk one of the most
(35:48):
prominent right wing talking heads in the, country building a
right wing movement close To Donald, trump close to his.
Family this is as obvious as that guy getting shot
for the young, goal which is terrible. Story BUT i
just you, know and he said why he did. It
the shooter has said why he did. It we all.
Know so who are these people that are walking around
saying the dumbest things? Imaginable they are defiantly, delusional.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
And they're, delusional but also aware that if they don't
try and explain away why this guy, acted it's going
to hurt the, left which is why they're so aggressive
and trying to come up with new. Ideas all, right
when we come, back we'll play a couple more of
these clips for all of.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
You Plus buck was in.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Attendance we did a big debate last night between me
And STEVEN. A.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
SMITH i kept Telling clay tag me, In i'll sweep
the leg Or i'll come off the top, buckle but
he didn't tag me. In, okay he didn't need, it
but it was a good.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Time we'll play some of those, cuts and we'll dive
into more of these. Details keep hanging them with us
here On clay And buck
