Hour 1 of today’s Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show delivers a deep dive into President Donald Trump’s historic 36-hour diplomatic marathon and the groundbreaking Gaza peace deal. Clay and Buck open the hour by contrasting Trump’s high-energy international diplomacy with Joe Biden’s limited schedule, highlighting Trump’s whirlwind trip to Israel and Egypt, his speeches to the Knesset, meetings with world leaders, and the signing of a landmark ceasefire agreement that secured the release of all Israeli hostages and nearly 2,000 Palestinian detainees. The hosts emphasize that this achievement positions Trump as a dominant figure in Middle East peace negotiations—surpassing past presidents from Carter to Obama.

The discussion features reactions from unlikely sources: left-leaning media figures and celebrities such as Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Joe Scarborough, who publicly acknowledged Trump’s success. Clay and Buck play clips from CNN, MSNBC, and prominent Democrats praising Trump’s role in brokering peace, noting how even Trump’s fiercest critics are conceding victory. They explore whether this diplomatic triumph will resonate with everyday Americans or remain a major news story without shifting public opinion, particularly among Jewish voters. The conversation touches on cultural and political dynamics within the Jewish community, analyzing whether Trump’s achievement could influence voting trends.

Additional segments include speculation on Trump’s potential to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine, reactions from Alyssa Farah Griffin on The View regarding a past promise to wear a MAGA hat, and commentary on Arab nations pressuring Hamas to accept the deal. Clay and Buck also examine Trump’s strong relationships with Arab leaders and how economic incentives contributed to the ceasefire. Later in the hour, the hosts pivot to U.S. politics, teasing upcoming discussions about Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, and RFK Jr.’s wife’s clash on The View.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back in Buck.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It is a day of reflection over Trump's remarkable accomplishments
alongside of his administration, and I never would have believed
the day, But as I look down at the roster,
we have praise for Donald Trump from Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel,
Joe Scarborough, and an incredible montage our team put together

(00:27):
of all different sorts of Democrats seeing Donald Trump's praises.
I think this is frankly remarkable and I think it
deserves all of the public acclamation. We will run through
some of those in a moment, but I just wanted
to hit you with this Buck. In the past twenty

(00:49):
four hours, listen to Donald Trump's schedule. Remember we went
from my cousin Mi, I was gonna say, my cousin Vinnie.
We went from weekend at bernie'sologies to my cousin Vinny
great film Weekend at Bernie's presidency of Joe Biden. They
tried to run weekend at Bernie's two where they would
hide him. He could only do events from like ten
to two, then they would hide him if they ever

(01:13):
did any press availabilities. They gave him note cards to
call on members of the press with pre screened questions.
Listen to what Trump has done just in the last
twenty four hours. He flew to Israel, spoke to the
press there in Israel, met with Israeli leaders, spoke to
the press again, met with families of the hostages. Delivered

(01:36):
an hour long speech to the Kanesse that is basically
the Israeli Congress, did another interview, Flew to Egypt, met
with the President of Egypt, spoke to the press again,
took photos and chatted individually with dozens of world leaders.
Signed the historic Gaza Peace Deal, delivered another speech, met

(01:58):
privately with world leaders. Flew back to the United States.
He touched ground publicly, walking across the grass of the
south lawn of the White House. I believe buck at
three am one of the most extraordinary thirty six hours.
He took off at three pm, thirty six hours before

(02:19):
when all the way to the Middle East, did all
of those things, got back off the plane at three am,
and today is celebrating and awarding to Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica,
the Presidential Medal of Freedom for another public event.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
For those of you who travel.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Internationally, and I imagine a lot of you out there
have done this at some point in time. It is buck,
you just did this. You just flew to Taiwan and
you just came back. Traveling internationally is one of the
most draining things that you can do, skipping across twelve
hours of time zones, all these different things for anybody,
no matter their age. For a seventy nine year old

(03:02):
president who has to be at the top of his
game delivering one of the most consequential and I think
well delivered addresses of his entire political career, we're talking
about superhuman, extraordinarily unbelievable levels of mental focus and energy
to be able to put all this together. For anyone,

(03:22):
whether you are the CEO of a company, whether you're
working in construction, whether you're a twenty two year old
listening to us right now, that's an unbelievable thirty six
hours of accomplishment. And coming on the heels of Joe Biden,
it is even more extraordinary. I think, what a thirty
six hours President Trump just put together.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
It's been fun just watching all of the Trump adversary
media having to find ways to package this for their audience. Overwhelmingly,
they've taken the you know he's terrible on that. They
say a bunch of things and then they go, but
I have to say, this is pretty darn good. And

(04:04):
I don't think that there could be any more obvious.
There could be no more clear endorsement of the massive
victory here than even Trump's biggest detractors, at least in
the media, are having to say, yeah, I think this
is a pretty good one.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Here's a great example.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
So Clay, you'll remember when I did the Bill Maher
show before this last election, and there were a lot
of things that were interesting about that. One is I
was like, you guys are about to get absolutely smoked
in this election, and the audience did not boo. I
think they knew that things were not looking good for
them at that point. It was what late September, I think,
before the election, so maybe about a month ago. And

(04:44):
the other thing was I said to Bill Maher. I
think this was on camera, but I definitely said it
to him off camera. I said, you know that he's
really not going to destroy the country and it's going
to be fine, right, I mean, you actually know that.
And I swear he looked at me and he said,
I don't know that. I don't know. I think he
actually might destroy America. He seemed to truly believe that. Well, Clay,
here he is. This has cut three having to face

(05:06):
reality play it.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
I always say this, you cannot ever deny success. You
just have to give your respect, even if it's not
your thing. Don't have the have the humility to give
it up for enormous success on any level. Trump not
my choice.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Didn't vote for him, but a lot of people did.
And he's.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
I can't deny the success. I can't either. Yeah, And
that's the president, and he's the president.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
That's That's pretty much where any honest left of center
person in this country has to be. Right now, Clay,
you can't deny the success. Guys, it's there. It's it's
in front of all of us.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
If Joe Biden had gotten all of the hostages out
of Gaza and delivered a sterling speech giving the virtues
of freedom and American leadership, and traveled and just run
through that thirty six hour stretch, he couldn't have done
any of it, Let's be clear. And that's why you
and me and most of you out there did not

(06:11):
vote for Joe Biden in twenty twenty Kamala Harris could
not have done any of this, and she's twenty years
younger than President Trump. But if they had, I would
have come on and said, hey, you know what, this
is a good result. As I give credit. Bill Clinton
came out and said it. Let's play this. I mean,
this is Trump is so successful. Now you and I
have and we're gonna see Trump's praises because we think

(06:33):
he's having the greatest presidency of the twenty first century.
I think we are in the midst I hope some
of you take the time to wake up and smile
and be grateful for what we are all experiencing right now,
because I think it's about as good as it gets.
Here is a montage put together of Democrats and left
wing media giving Trump credit for the Gaza deal.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
This has cut seven. This was very much a peacemaker speech.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
It's a terrific day for the hostage families. It's a
terrific day for President Trump for our national interests.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Do you give him credit for this?

Speaker 6 (07:09):
Certainly?

Speaker 5 (07:09):
I mean, this is an incredible accomplishment, an incredible moment.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
President Trump deserves a lot of credit for bringing the
parties together.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
He should get a lot of credit. I mean, this
was his deal. He worked this out. Listen, he got
the deal across the finish line.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
There's no question things seem sort of possible now in
a way that they didn't necessarily before.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
A better future ahead. That's what today represented. It was
so so powerful and unbelievably emotional. We would not be
here if it wasn't for Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Okay, let me give you an idea of who was
saying all of that. That's the Washington Post, David Ignacious,
historian John Meacham, Representative Adam Smith, Democrat from Washington, former
Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Senator Mark Kelly, current Democrat
from Arizona. Jim Scutto. I'm not sure how you pronounced

(07:57):
his name. SHOOTO, watch a lot. I also went to
my high school, like Fauci. Did I know this because
these guys get big, get big requests to come back
and speak at Regis. But yours truly on the first
or second largest radio platform whatever in America.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Not a lot of love from the high school. Keep going.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
MSNBC's David Noriega, Ted Deutsch, Democrat from Florida, and Arab
Israeli negotiator Aaron David Miller. Also, Stephen Colpet even said
cut nine. Donald Trump did something good. Had to make
a joke about it, but cut nine.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Today thanks to Trump's newly broken ceasefire in Gaza, all
living Israeli hostages and almost two thousand palestine and prisoners
have been released. Okay, it's important. Credit where credit is due.
Donald Trump did something good. Are we still canceled?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Sure? I tried. I tried, all right.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Jimmy Kimmel even said good work. Now they got to
make jokes on the backside, but they're actually giving President
Trump credit. This is how successful Trump has suddenly become.
He has united Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert in praise.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Cut eight. What a day for Donald Trump.

Speaker 7 (09:20):
You know what, He finally did something positive today, and
I want to give him credit for it, because I
know he's not the type to take credit for himself.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Trump was in Israel.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
And Egypt today's to celebrate a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
All twenty Israeli hostages are home. After seven hundred and
thirty days, almost two thousand Palestinian prisoners and ducats have
been released. And while we're only in the first phase
of what will undoubtedly be a long and tricky process.
The fact is the bombing has stopped, the hostages have

(09:51):
been released, and Trump deserves some of the praise for that.
And so I know it sounds crazy to say, but
good work on that.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
One, President Trump.

Speaker 7 (09:59):
Now maybe you can not invade Portland.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Okay, like this is I understand they got to slap
him on the back and make a joke or whatever.
But the fact that Colbert Kimmel, CNN, and MSNBC are
all lining up for much of their day buck and
having to say President Trump, get a good job. I
do wonder what their moron audiences are thinking here. You
and I are not surprised this happened, but this is

(10:26):
what we voted for.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
We were right.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
I would also add that they're limiting the praise to
getting the hostages back, but the more comprehensive deal here.
There's never been anything like this in media's peace negotiations
involving hamas involving the future of the state of Israel.
I mean, this is enormous as a framework for the

(10:49):
Middle East going forward, and they're not saying that because
Clay it's one thing to point out. Okay, fine, he
got the hostages back. We all have to admit that's good.
I would also note who was it.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I couldn't I.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Can't remember, but somebody said two thousand Palestinian prisoners. Those
are detainees, they're terror In New York, that's a different.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
The New York Times called it a hostage trade, as
if the criminals that were under you know, Kawak and Key,
were the same as the hostages that were kidnapped.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
So I just want to note that on the one
side you have people, you have civilians who were kidnapped
at gunpoint for no reason other than the barbarism and
a hatred of Hamas. And on the other side, you
have people who were breaking the Geneva Convention in every
way imaginable, fighting as a non established military, killing civilians,

(11:39):
and all of the things that you could point to anyway.
But they are trying to limit this to the hostages
coming back, and they're not They're not willing to say
to their audience play even in these clips. For the
most part, some of the more news people are alluding
to this. Aaron David Miller's actually a sharp guy. I
know him from years back, and he knows the region well, well,

(12:01):
if there are people out there who are lifetime policy
wonks who are saying that part of it is a
huge breakthrough too, and that's something they won't say on
Kimmel's show. They won't say that Donald Trump not only
succeeded as president in getting these hostages back, but Clay
he has succeeded more on Mid East peace than Obama,

(12:23):
than Biden, than Bush, then Clinton, then Reagan, then go back,
Den Carter, keep going back that they will not say.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Let me ask you this, and I don't know. I'm
curious what your answer is. We can talk about it
when we come back. As we're coming up against a break.
How much do you think the average American cares or
is paying attention to what's going on right now in.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
The Middle East?

Speaker 2 (12:48):
In other words, does this move Donald Trump's approval rating
in the United States in any kind of appreciable way,
or people like you and me and all of our
listeners that are in gauged on a day to day
basis in the news are aware of this. But is
this resonating with your average dad or mom sitting in
a car line picking up kids at school, Like, is

(13:10):
this something that matters.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Really I really don't think so for the most part.
I think for the I think for the Jewish American community,
especially because we had Carol Marquitz on yesterday. She has
family in Israel, she has family that are in the
IDF right, So that is very noteworthy for people that
feel a direct connection to what's going on over there.

(13:32):
But day to day over here, this will be swept
up in the broader news cycle very quickly. And I
think there's nothing wrong with leaving the diplomacy to the diplomat, well,
in this case, to Donald Trump, the diplomat in chief,
and moving back to issues here on the home front.
You know that Trump has helped clean that mess up

(13:54):
or bring that mess to an end. Let's get our
focus back here at home. I mean, there's no need
for us to have a split focus. I think that
takes away from any of the initiatives, and they're not
the stuff with Portland and Chicago and the border and
trade deals with China. That's all still under way too.
This is a big news story more than it is
a big main Street story. I think that's fair good analysis.

(14:18):
Now we've got Zolinsky coming to the White House on Friday.
Within that construct. What is MSNBC and CNN going to
say if Trump actually brings peace between Ukraine and Russia too?
Remember that scene in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of
the Lost Ark when they owe the answer is going
to be one hundred percent for me. But yes, I'm

(14:39):
not forgetting any of those scenes. It will it will
be like that at MSNBC. If Trump ends the Russia
Ukraine war, they will just melt in real like, there
won't be anything left. They will spontaneously combust, total protonic reversal.
I mean, it'll be a total I don't know what
they'll do over there. All right, we'll come back into this.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Year, I say.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Raiders of the Lost Ark. Oh yeah, well they look
at the Arc. Well we have double we have double.
I was thinking when they drink from the chalice at
the end, and oh double the other one. Yeah, there's
actually double ones.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Yeah, I mean it will be a Laurence O'donald's show
might be more like that, and whatever other shows are on,
like Chris Hayes might be more like The Raiders of
the Lost Arc. But people will melt or evaporate in
real time. If Trump actually does the peace deal with Russia, Ukraine.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Not only did Trump have a huge win yesterday, as
did really the whole Middle.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
East and the world is nipolized, but there are some
people who have some bets that they made who should
pay up.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
I would think one in particular over at the view
Miss Elissa Farrah, formerly of the Trump White House, I
might add first term here. It turns out that she
made a promise, and I think she should be kept
with that promise. Clay, listen to this. This is what you
said on the air. I don't know a couple of
years ago.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
I guess say it's really hostages out. I promise I
will wear a Maga hat for one.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
Day on the show and say thank you for doing it.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
She'll another right off my head.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
You have to be able to cheer for wins when
they happen and then call out relentlessly the wrong day.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I gotta say, a deal is a deal, a promise
is a promise, A bet is a bet. Like however
you want to put this, I don't Clay, if you
or I made a promise to this audience about wearing
a half during the show, we're wearing that hat. So
if you has to pay up, here totally.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
If I had said, if Joe Biden gets the hostages back,
I'll wear a Biden hat. This is last December, to
be clear, But yeah, yeah, last December. She said it
after Trump was elected, but before he had taken office.
This is a no brainer. A BET's a bet. She
should pay up. Like when buck Island went underwater, you
even though you had to get a snorkel, you took
me to a fancied dinner and we had a great.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Stage I did. True.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
I owe Jesse Kelly a red lobster outing. I have
not forgotten.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
That's right. That's right. Falls a busy time for kids.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
I mean, you gottaet all those red lobster dinners in
They're not just back in school, they're on sports teams,
in the band, theater, practice, part of the after school club.
Trust me, everybody out there who has kids knows how
crazy this is. But we didn't give our boys a
cell phone until they were fourteen. We might have gotten
a lot wrong as parents, but I think this is
one of the things that we got right. But I

(18:19):
do now that the boys have cell phones they're seventeen
and fifteen.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
We use pure talk to get them in touch with
all of that. But in the.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Meantime, if you got young kids, rapid radios makes a
tremendous difference. Our eleven year old has a rapid radio.
We use it to stay in touch with him. He
can't get on the internet. It can help to protect him.
No setup required, pull him out of the box, press
a button.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
It is awesome.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Visit rapid radios dot com to save up to sixty
percent plus free ups shipping. That's rapid radios dot com.
Use code radio. Great for your kids. Rapid Radios dot
com Code Radio. We've got a lot going on, including
Charlie Kirk's would be his thirty second birthday today and
a public event ceremony that is taking place at the

(19:06):
White House in addition to everything Trump did in the
last thirty six hours.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
But we were.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Playing a bunch of different cuts out there of left
wing media having to celebrate Donald Trump's accomplishment in Gaza
getting the hostages back, and also the new Mid East
peace plan that has been signed and is being taken
very seriously. Good article by the way Buck in the
Wall Street Journal that said basically a lot of these

(19:35):
Arab nations told Hamas's leadership that if you don't agree
to this peace plan, we are going to kick you
out of Cutter and you're on your own basically in
terms of your safety. So I do think this is
a big part of the story that hasn't been discussed.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
We talked about that.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
A bit yesterday when you had to go do the
interview Clay with with the sports fellow.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
With Lane Kiffen that ole miss Thanks to everybody in
Oxford who had me yesterday. But yes, when I ducked out.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Lane Kiffin among my favorites. Yes, but I talked about
it somewhat because, in particular, I think the Turkish response
on this too. The Turks have been very helpful to
Hamas in an unhelpful way to the region for a
long time, and even the Turks essentially said, you take

(20:28):
this dealier on your own.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
The Katari said the same thing. The Egyptian said the
same thing. I mean, this is what Saudi, this is
the subtext of the story Saudi. Saudi said the same thing.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
I do believe that there's a lot of focus on
Trump's relationship with that Yahoo deservedly so it's a very
positive one. But the degree to which they have also
established really strong foundational relationships with everyone in the Arab world,
I think has been under discussed. And it was those
Arab countries leaning on the Hamas leadership and basically saying, hey, guys,

(21:04):
we're over this, and that has not been talked about enough.
I don't believe what you say. Okay, why does that matter, Clay?
It would suggest that there may be an opportunity for
lasting peace because many of these Arab countries are just
fed up. It's hard to build businesses when you're worried
that somebody's going to walk in with a suicide vest

(21:25):
and blow up one of your properties. And I think
the connection that Trump has made from a commerce, capitalism
builder perspective with the Arab countries has been greatly under analyzed.
But it was the pressure coming from that side too,
in addition to the pressure coming from the Israeli side,

(21:47):
that finally got a resolution here and the hostages to
be released. But your guy, Joe Scarborough, Morning, Joe, who
I think you have forecasts may very well run for president.
And the more I think about it, the more I
like I wish I.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Could feel funny because somehow like you're responsible for Gavin
Newsom for no apparent reason, and I'm responsible for Joe
Scarborough for no apparent reason. It's like we've been foisted
upon us with these individuals. But yes, I guess I
am the Scarborough expert here and you are the Newsome expert.
Go ahead, Scarborough benthony and went and met alongside of
Mika with Trump at mar A Lago. Side note before

(22:25):
I play this clip, Mika and Joe don't seem to
be getting along that well.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Buck.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Now, I wouldn't want to do a live tele I'm
gonna put you on this spot here. I'll just say
I would not want to do a live show with
my wife. I love my wife. We've been married for
twenty one years. I think she would strangle me if
we did a live show every day. I don't know
how you think you and Carrie would do live every
day for several hours. Have you seen some of the
clips so your boy Joe and Mika, they do not

(22:51):
seem to.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Be getting along very well.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Like there's a lot of tension on air when they're talking,
and I just sometimes watch it and I think that
does not seem like an off air relationship that would be.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Very Sometimes I feel like Joe might have left the
seat up. I'm not gonna lie. There are moments when
it feels like Joe waited for Mika to ask for
help when he was sitting on the couch instead of
knowing without being asked Clay that she wanted help.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
I don't know how many married couples would be able
to do a live show like Joe and Mika do
period if everything you said to your spouse was constantly
on the air live and everybody was analyzed.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Do you do get in trouble for the not knowing
when help is needed without being asked for help.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
I'm just wondering, is this the one something? Does this
ever come up for you?

Speaker 2 (23:34):
I think Laura would probably say I get in trouble
for not being very good at helping when help is
asked for.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
So I'm a level of.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Removed beyond I don't even think she expects me to
know when I should know she needs help. I think
my ability to help when she needs help is actually underutilized.
Underserved would be Laura Travis's perspective on this. So my
point on this is maybe j Joe Scarborough. Once out
of the house, maybe he's like, hey, you know, Iowa
in January not necessarily the place that anybody wants to go.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
It's pretty cold in New Hampshire in January February.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
People are like, why would he leave the televisions, And
he might want to leave the television studio based on
some of the clips that I've seen. But here he
is saying, look, Trump, he gets more respect from these
leaders than a lot of other presidents have in the past.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
Cut t In, it does seem that, in a sense
that Donald Trump was singular in a sense impact that
most other presidents would not have not only dealt with
those leaders the way he did as aggressively as he did,
but to my mind, other presidents probably would not be
feared as much as Donald Trump. And as I looked

(24:43):
at the assemblage up there, I did understand that a
lot of that was going on because people's fear of
Donald Trump. The old saying, you know, better to be
feared than loved, not something that I've always wanted to
see in a leader.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
But for the purpose of yesterday, where you.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
Saw Erdawan meekly to his left and the Guitari leader
meekly to his right.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
The shoe fit there. I just think this is evidence of.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Again, it's one thing for media figures to come around
and have to be somewhat grudging in their appreciation for Trump.
You know this because you're the Morning Joe viewer. What
is the average Morning Joe viewer thinking as they are
watching and realizing that Trump has done something that, frankly,
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would never have been capable
of if they were in office. And if you're Jewish,

(25:35):
and I know a lot of people out there listening
to us right now are Jewish, and you voted for
Kamala and you voted for Joe Biden, what are those
conversations like, I'm curious for the Jewish Republican listeners out there,
for the Trump supporting Republicans who are Jewish listening to
us right now, do you have those conversations now when
you're going to synagogue, when you are going to religious

(25:56):
related events, when you're just engaged in Jewish cultural affairs,
are people who know that you are Trump person coming
up and saying, hey, maybe I was wrong about Trump?

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Is there?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
You know the idea of Hitler bringing world peace to
the Middle East. I think was highly unlikely. But are
any of these people, particularly Jewish, because it's that culture
we talked about. Some people are just not noticing what's
going on in the Middle East because they got other
things going on in their life. That is not true
for the Jewish community. Whatever your voting background was, Everyone

(26:27):
is aware of the hostage situation. Everyone is aware of
the situation in Israel. Do you think those people maybe
did you talk about this some with Carol. I'm curious
what the reaction is in the Jewish community now that
Trump has achieved perhaps the greatest success in the history
of the modern presidency for Israel and for the Jewish people.

(26:48):
It seems very hard to dislike him now, basically, if
you're being somewhat rational, Well, they.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Would, I think Democrats who are Jewish, because I know
some of them too. I have a lot of right
wing Jewish friends. I do know some liberal Jewish Kamala
Biden voters as well. I think what they would say
play is that they just have priorities. For example, being
pro abortion is more important than Israel to some, particularly

(27:17):
if you get into more secular, secular liberal Jews, which
is this whole other component of Judaism, right, people that
are Jewish but they're not particularly religious in their Judaism,
and they can be very left wing in their politics.
Someone like Bernie Sanders from what I like. I don't
think Bernie Sanders is observant at all as a Jew,

(27:37):
but he's definitely Jewet, obviously definitely a Jewish guy, but
he's radical left in his politics. I think that people
that are in that mold would take the take the
opinion of, well, sure the hostage thing is good, but
I have all these other things that I care about more,
and that matters more in terms of my political allegiance.

(27:57):
That's my sense of how because they're not going to
move the votes. You know, there wasn't a big actually,
you know, let's pull that up. I'm curious what was
the final the tally of Jewish voters for Trump versus
Communist last election.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
I'll pull that up. While you keep going, yeah, well,
we'll talk about that. I'm curious see if you can
get that data. And if you're out there and you're
listening to us and you are a Jewish Trump voter,
I am intrigued to hear if the conversation has begun
to shift in any way as.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
A result of this. So I will tell you something, Clay.
If you remember we talked about this, because right after
October seventh, you were saying, I think there's going to
be a big shift. Yes, we didn't have a bet
on this. We should have had a bet on this.
And I told you there'll be no shift toward Trump
because of the right being solid on Israel and the

(28:44):
left being so clearly.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
You know, prop.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Broken when it came to the way that has aen
to October. I mean, it's there's variations of what it is.
In some cases it's Muslim American voters who actually just
hate Israel. In other cases it's just far left radical
even Jews who don't support Israel. But new polls.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Show, oh wait, no, this is the wait, this is
the pull. I'll pull the data. But my understanding is
that there was very little change in the Jewish vote
in this last election.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
So we've got that would surprise me somewhat. Now, white women,
if you count Jewish people as a part of it.
To be fair, white women actually were more likely to
vote for Kamala Harris in twenty twenty four than they
were Joe Biden. It's the only group that Kamala Harris
did better in. There's a lot of broken brains in
the white women community. We'll talk about Sorry, white women,

(29:37):
but a lot of you are crazy.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
And then then they're saying that Harris, Kamala Harris basically
got sixty six percent plus of.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
The Jewish vote overall.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
It would surprise me if the Jewish vote didn't move.
We'll talk about this when we come back, Buck, Because
New York City moved so aggressively towards Trump, and even
La moved towards Trump, it would surprise me if a
lot of those New York City votes were not Jewish
voters moving in that direction.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Well, the thing is, we do great the Republicans the right.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
We do great with Jews who practice Judaism, yes, if
that makes sense. So it's the more the Orthodox and
people that are more the key Kosher. But the more
you get into the Judaism, the more you get into
right wing in this country. It is the secular liberal
Jewish contingent is also hard Yes, liberal, they're liberally, yes,

(30:29):
that's that's what you have. So tough to I'm trying
to parse these numbers right now and even the numbers
aren't really that clear on.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
This saber makes a huge difference for you when it
comes to making you safe at home because they are
the number one pepper spray brand trusted by law enforcement.
Their products are effective at deterring a threat, and their
pepper gel gun is a great example because it's shaped
like a pistol or rifle depending on the model. In
both cases, it fires off a pepper gel projectile targeted

(30:58):
goes a longer distance than you'd think. And look, Buck
and I have fired these, We have gone out on
the range with these, even down in Florida. I think
we're going to be firing the newest versions here soon
in the Nashville, Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Area where I live. And these are.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Fun, they are easy to use, and most importantly, they're
non lethal. If you have teenagers that are ever coming
around your house, maybe they're your kids, maybe they're your grandkids.
Believe it or not, teenagers like to sneak out of
the house, and they may, even as has happened in
the Travis household, try and sneak back into the house
without being aware that the alarm is on and set

(31:34):
off the alarm and have everybody in the whole house.
Wake up and you're like, oh my god, we're being robbed.
Somebody's trying to get in and it's actually just your
knucklehead teenagers not aware that the.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Alarm is on.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
Has that ever happened in your house? Has that ever
happened to anyone in the teenage community that you might
be connected with. Maybe you want to protect your house,
but also you're afraid of the fact that your knucklehead
kids might be coming in at any hour. That's when
non lethal protections can make a lot of sense, and
that's what Saber is all about. Check it out Saber

Speaker 3 (32:33):
All right, welcome back into Clay and Buck. Things getting spicy.
We mentioned the view a little bit of a back
end forth with the wife of RFK Junior and Sunny
hostin the most hostile member of the view on all things.
I might just add she's just the most hostile person

(32:53):
on that show in general, but she was hostile with
Cheryl Hines. Is her name right, I'm she I know
her from the Larry Davis Show.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Am I right? That's her name?

Speaker 6 (33:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Oh yeah, team yeah. Making sure she's an actress. She's
married to RFK Junior, so they they had a bit
of a tet tet and we shall discuss that coming
up here. Also, the I think it's the biggest liberal
podcast now pivot. You know this, this show pivot for libs.

(33:22):
If you're like a New York Magazine New York Times subscriber,
this is the pot This and the New York Times
podcast are the.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Who is on the Pivot pod? Like, I don't know,
uh it is? I forget her name? And doctor or
Professor Galloway from n YU Kris is it?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Kara Swisher? Is Sara Swisher? That's right, Kara Swisher. And
she argued with me about masks once online. That's all
I remember from her, and she was wrong and I
was right. So apparently Buck is very smart and she
should say I'm sorry that I was so wrong. But
Scott Galloway, he actually said some very good things on
some topics I will say, but he wighed in we're

(34:02):
going to get to his analysis clay of possible he
talked about a possible Kamala run. I think you'll be
pleased to know that this is something that the Libs
are discussing now as a as a thing that may happen.
I want to hold everybody in suspense over this one though.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Well. Also did you see and I love this?

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Kamala wrote, Remember we had fun with this that Gavin
Newsom texted or out hiking, will call you back when
she announced that she was running, and then never actually
called him back, which was yes, I never called her back.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
I ghosted the Democrat presidential candidate for.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
A hire campaign. Yes, evidently did you see this? This
follow up to that after she wrote about it in uh,
this is amazing? This actually Kamba, I give Kamala credit.
This unlike Alyssa Farr Griffin like I'll call balls and
strikes here, this is actually funny. I thought it was
funny that Gavin Newsom never called her back because he

(35:00):
said he was out hiking. Gavin Newsom was upset that
she wrote about that in the book, and he texted,
this is the latest version of this book. He texted
Kamala and said, well, you know, I did post on
social media and endorsement for you, and you didn't include
that in the book. And Kamala Harris texted him back
on book tour, will text We'll call you back.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
So he finally.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Texted her after a year of not commenting, like, hey,
with the link, I did endorse you on social media.
This should have been in the book. And Kamala Harris
texted him back on book tour, will get back to you.
So my point on this is they are really kind
of going at it in a very frenomy way that

(35:47):
suggests that they are aware of being opponents in the
twenty twenty eight election. And I don't think there's a
law of lost here. You know this, Sometimes politicians can
go at it in public and act actually like each
other privately. In other words, it's a little bit of
a public show. I don't think Kamala and Gavin Newsom

(36:07):
like each other at all, and I think they want
the same thing in twenty eight. I think they both
want to run.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Oh, he will get into this because, like I said,
a big liberal podcast out there has weighed in on
this one. I think Clay needs to hear that analysis
and in particular, and we will also dive into this
situation on the View with RFK Junior and or his
wife rather talking about things going on with this administration.

(36:34):
Trump continuing to push on securing the city of Chicago,
the city of Portland. There's more on that, and we
also have Eric Trump joining us in the third hour.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Everybody, so the show is stacked
