Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, second hour of Clay and Buck kicks off
right now. And as we had just discussed and set
up for our next discussion over the fourth of July weekend,
this happened. Ten have been charged with attempted murder after
shooting at an ice detention center, and I want to
(00:22):
give you some of the details of this. This was
the update as of yesterday, but on the fourth of July.
Now look, this part of the reason I think this
didn't get more attention is completely understandable in a new
cycle sense, that the tragedy in Texas, and we're still
I even have a hard time talking about that off
(00:43):
air to friends and family, just in terms of you know,
the updates. It's a it's such a gut punch, it's
so horrible what happened, and it's just terribly sad, terribly
sad situation. And our hearts really truly do go out
to the family of those affected and to those communities
in Texas that have been hit. You know, you know,
(01:05):
we love Texas on this show. We have so many
of you who are Texans, and it just has a
special place in our heart and we're thinking about all
of you. So that's part of why I think this
story is almost on this other story about talking about
almost unknown to a lot of people. And then there's
the political aspect of it, which is, I think they
don't want this story to get a lot of attention.
(01:27):
And here's what happened. You've got ten people who have
been arrested for this already and eleventh is expected to
face it separate charges. People were at a Prairie Land
detention center in Alvarado, Texas, and they had vandalized ICE
vehicles that were parked there. This is twenty eight miles
(01:48):
to the south of Fort Worth in Texas. And there
were all these demonstrations that were happening. And now, remember,
the left has decided, I think Clay right now, they've
moved on a little bit from free Palestine stuff whatever
that means, to the ice thing is now the new.
This is the the thing. This is the current thing
(02:08):
for left wing maniacs who you know, want to act
out and break the law and push for anarchy and chaos.
So there were these these demonstrations protests going on, but well,
this was happening. These ten people well got into it
with some ICE officers and then this was on Friday,
(02:32):
Friday at ten thirty seven pm, ten to twelve people
shot fireworks at the detention center. Think about this, you're
shooting fireworks at peace officers, at Immigration and Customs enforcement,
federal agents. And then one of the two people separated
from the group and wrote graffiti Ice, Pig and Trader
on the car. Now Ice Pig, I believe means kill
(02:54):
the police just putting that out there. So they're writing
on the car on the ice, you know, Immigration, the
Custom Force and vehicles, and then Trader. Of course we
all know what that's about. A officer from the Alvarado
Police Department arrived at the detention center parking lot. He
got out of the vehicle, a person in the woods
opened fire with an AR fifteen shot this officer in
(03:19):
the neck. A detective from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office,
who was heading the detention center, pulled over a van
that had fled the scene. The driver, identified as Megan Morris,
told police officers of meeting people online and bringing them
to quote make some noise. Inside the van were two
AR fifteen rifles, two Kevlar ballistic style vests, and a
(03:42):
ballistic helmet clay. This group of left wing maniacs showed
up to assault with semi automatic rifles an immigration enforcement
facility and ended up shooting a law enforcement officer in
the neck. And this is terrorism. This is a big deal.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
This is a huge story. It's a huge story.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
And I think you're right that because it happened in
Texas in the midst of the flooding and over July
fourth weekend, it hasn't gotten the attention that otherwise would.
I think that's even true on Fox News and the
Wall Street Journal and the New York Post and places
that you would assume would cover this. I think a
(04:26):
lot of distraction has rightly occurred because of the far
more significant loss of life in Texas and what happened there.
That story in conjunction with July fourth, This is one,
though that I do believe is incredibly important to focus
on because what it represents, what we talked about the
(04:48):
jan sixth, Democrats were able to create what I think
is a fundamental lie in the larger marketplace of ideas,
and they were able to set it, and they were
able to argue it, and many of their supporters.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Believe it, which is Trump supporters are.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Uniquely dangerous and violent and therefore we must have them
underneath the microscope of the security apparatus. And when you
did that, you could then remember the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping.
There were a lot of stories that they were able
to feed, and we talked about this on the program.
(05:26):
When you tell FBI agents, hey, this is our focus.
We need you to find people doing these crimes, and
then you know the media is going to cover it
when you find it. They created the idea that Trump
supporters were uniquely dangerous. It isn't true. I think in fact,
most violence that's happening of a political nature in the
(05:47):
last four or five years has actually been left wing
led and this is representative of that.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Well, what happened to the DHS and these other agency
bulletins that were suddenly coming out under the Biden administration
the threat of white nationalism and we have to be
so concerned about the white nationalist terrorists. We're sitting around
and we used to say this on the shop.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
I said the number one threat to America was white supremacy.
Joe Biden, Yes, that's what he said.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
And I still to this day. I have met Gie
hottists and I have seen what they are capable of.
I've never met a white supremacist. I'm living in America.
I've never met one. So I sit here and I
say to myself, that's the biggest threat in America. It was, all,
of course inflated. Again. Do they exist? Yeah, of course.
(06:34):
Are Are they something that people are concerned about day
to day in a country three hundred and fifty million people, No,
they are not. Imagine for a second, and this just
I think puts it into context that we have ten
people here have been charged with attempted murder of a
federal officer. Okay, ten people have been charged with attempted
murder of a federal officer basically ambushing this ICE agent
(06:57):
at this facility in Texas with rifles trying to the
guy and Clay. Imagine if FBI officers who were arresting Again,
I'm going to this because it's the the very partisan
thing in the moment right now, immigrations the very partisan
fight nationally, and you know, we're on the side of
(07:18):
good and the law with this one. But imagine on
the J six thing for a second. Ten J six
supporters or you know, ten people who were supportive of
the J six rights movement, which is all it was.
These people should be treated fairly and not treated like
monsters and members of al Kaeda in many cases not
really doing anything. And then there was an ambush of
(07:39):
an FBI officer who got shot in the neck trying
to serve a war and on J six Clay there
would be like armored cars patrolling the streets of America
with loud speakers declaring martial law under Biden, I mean
it would be a full scale national freak out if
that had happened. And this story gets swept up under
(08:00):
the rug, and it's also swept under the rug at
a time when you have this is a very common thing.
I keep hearing they're saying, why do these ice officers,
these are elected officials in America, why do they have
to cover their faces while they're doing these operations?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Because they don't want their family to face death threats
and possible actual attempted violence because they're enforcing the law.
What does that say about the Democrats that the leadership
is willing to throw law enforcement under the bus so
quickly and so ruthlessly. I think this is true.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
And also Buck I would point out that Democrats are
really on the wrong side of immigration. Still, did you
see this study that came out, because I think it
ties in signal came out with a study a plus rating.
I understand polsters as it are as they are. You
can agree or disagree with them, but this was pretty significant.
(08:55):
Do you support or oppose deporting those illegally in the
United States back to the country of origin?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Support?
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Sixty one percent, opposed thirty five percent. Even as we
are still in the midst of Democrats trying to say, oh,
this is the haul of coast Ice agents are modern
day Nazis? Listen to this two buck White American sixty
five p thirty one support, Black fifty three thirty seven support,
Hispanic fifty to forty eight support. I mean, these are
(09:27):
huge numbers. Every major racial group in America thinks that
if you're illegally in this country, you should be sent
back to the country of your origin.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
This is the the UH learning mechanism of the American
people on display, based on what the Biden regime put
us through, and for a lot of people, the the
immigration propaganda. And of course, when I say immigration, we're
talking about illegal immigration, illegal alien entry into the United States.
(09:58):
The illegal alien propaganda was, oh, this is just about
being a nice person, and this is the way America
was built, and they're doing the jobs Americans won't do
and everything else. And under Biden it turned into ten
million people are coming here. They're lying. Okay, they're overwhelmingly
not asiluent, they have no basis for asylum. They're lying
(10:20):
to get into the country. They're getting access to benefits,
they're trying to scam the system, and they're putting emergency
rooms and stayed in local budgets and go down the
list under huge duress. And people are tired of the crap.
People of good faith on the issue of the legal immigration.
And I mean tens of millions of Americans feel scammed.
(10:43):
And I'm talking with people like me that I've thought
this was bad for a long time. I mean, new
people have come to the party and realized the media
was lying to them, the Democrats were lying to them.
Trump has been speaking the truth and they got scammed.
And that's why the numbers are what you just laid out.
And Democrats don't know how to handle this right now.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Let me also say this, this is why I'm such
an optimist that over time the right argument to win.
This is one where Trump was one billion percent right.
And think about all when he came down the escalator
in twenty fifteen and started his rise politically, what did
(11:23):
he say, the border, of the border, of the border,
people are illegal, violent criminals are coming across the border.
And they tried to cancel him. They tried to cancel
him for that. And Trump has stayed on message for
a decade now, leading with the border most of the time.
And now the American public, black, white, Asian, Hispanic has
(11:45):
all been convinced.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
That he is right on this issue.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
And this is why the marketplace of ideas is so important,
because you can take something you remember this buck.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
When he started that it.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Was a minority opinion, they tried to cancel him, They
took him off television.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
They wouldn't let him. Yes, they thought they could just
shout them down with its racist. Now a majority of
Black Americans and a majority of Latino Americans agree with Trump.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yes, because they have seen the impact of illegal immigration
in their communities and they know it's wrong. And this
is why over time, I really do this is this
is my ultimate optimism and this is what I think
about a lot. The marketplace of ideas matter so much
because sometimes you say things that make people uncomfortable, and
(12:28):
over time you continue to make your argument and more
and more people see it. And I think that's the
story writ large of Trump, because you know what, sixty
four million people voted for Trump in twenty sixteen. By
twenty twenty four to seventy seven million voted for Trump.
There's tens of millions of you out there listening right now,
all over the country who didn't vote for Trump in
(12:49):
sixteen that came on to vote for Trump by twenty
four And that's because of the rightness of his arguments
over time being endorsed by the American public. I want
to talk to you about the rightness of Trump's argum. Remember,
by the way, when everybody said, hey, we're going to
have World War three if Trump attacks Iran, Remember when
we were told thousands of American troops are going to die.
(13:11):
It's going to be an unbelievable calamity. There hasn't been
a single casualty. But fortunately the Middle East, as Trump
is working right now, seems to be hopefully calming down.
Right now, we're looking for a ceasefire in Gaza Hezbola
Hamas both defeated.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
The UTIs in retreat as well.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Iran hopefully for years pushed back on their ability to
be able to have a nuclear weapon, and we hope
that ceasefire can last. But you know the reality is
Israel has to constantly be building bomb shelters because their
people are in danger at every moment of every day.
And that's what the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
works to help do is take care of innocent people
(13:52):
all over Israel. And your next gift will help provide
wide scale food distribution along with critical first aid and
emergentgency supplies. Items will help Israel's most vulnerable, the sick,
the elderly, children and families. The IFCJ is there in
Israel working tirelessly thanks to your donations. Your gift today
will also help place new bomb shelters. As I just said,
(14:15):
these are incredibly valuable and important across Israel, along with
necessary supplies. Now's the time to save and help heal Israel.
Call eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight
eight eight four eight eight IFCJ. You can also go

Speaker 1 (14:38):
You don't know what you don't know right, but you could.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
On the Sunday Hang with Clay and.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Buck podcast, Welcome back in Clay, Travis, Buck Sexton Show.
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. We got
some callers who went a weigh in. Let's take some
of those. Dave and tallahassee Dave what you got.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Greetings sir. My question for you, and you may have
talked about it before, but when Biden did the debates
in June, who was the one or the group that
allowed him to do that? Because you know you've been
watching for the past four years the last scene of
the Wizard of Oz, who's behind the curtain pull and
(15:22):
the levers? Because it was.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
David's It's a great question, Clay. Are we still a
little I'm not sure if we see this the same
or where we were on this before. But my sense
was there were people who were saying that this was
like intentional to get him out. I don't know if
you were on that side of it. I always thought
that their belief and I still believe that their belief
was because of the echo chamber effect, they could get
(15:45):
through one more night. And then and then it would
be okay, you know, sort of clear sailing until at
least the election.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
There was a debate, and this is really chronicle. Was
this in the books, Yeah, it's in the in the
in the in the book. According to the book, again,
there was basically two camps. One camp was don't debate
at all, you know, just basically I.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Made that prediction. I guess I was wrong, but I
was right in so far as they shouldn't have had
them debated.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Yeah, well they shouldn't have debated, So that camp was
out there. They were concerned that not debating because of
Biden's negatives on age would actually drag them down and
they would have to debate at some point. So that
was point one. The second point was they really thought,
if you go back to the State of the Union,
(16:34):
they really thought that they could, I really think, shoot
Biden up with whatever uppers they needed and he would
go out and it wouldn't be a disaster. And they
said the reactions to the debate were amazing actually in
original sin. I mean I was laughing out loud, I'm
gonna get this book now, you're selling me on this book.
But I mean the historical as opposed, but the reactions
(16:55):
from all the they never thought it would be so bad,
And in fact, they argue internally, hey, if it doesn't
go well, it's so early in June, we'll have time
to recover. They only saw it as a positive. They
thought it was a blunder.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
It was a blunder because there was this line of
somebody wanted, you know, kamalo and so I was like,
no one would do that, guys, nobody would knowingly sabotage
the leading candidate from the Democrat side. I mean, it's
a It was a disaster for them.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
When you read it, I think what comes through is
the degree to which this was just a doddering old
man and nobody could figure out how to get him
to give up power. And there was a coterie of
individuals the politbureau as they called them, the five people
and Joe Biden around him who were protecting him the
(17:45):
most and saying we got to continue with this, and
there was no ability for Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama. They
knew he had to go, but they couldn't figure out
how to make him go.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
There was no mechanism. Yeah, there was no mechanism. I
we'll get some more of your calls here in just
a moment. You know, every twenty five seconds, a break
in occurs somewhere in the country. Do you have the
right tools to protect yourself and your family. A great
place to start is with Saber. I got a whole
range of Saber tools here. I'm talking about different alarms,
door bars, pepper sprays, pepper launchers, sabers, pepper sprays, and
(18:17):
pepper gels are the most trusted by law enforcement, and
they're all proudly made here in the USA. It's a
family owned company. The CEO and his people all have
Saber products in their homes. They rely on them. They
believe in them. You can too. If you're looking for
less or non lethal protection. Non lethal protection from Saber
is who I trust. That's who you should go with.
(18:37):
Try the pepper projectile launcher because honestly, it's a great
tool to defend yourself and when you practice with a
little bit kind of fun play and I've used it.
Go check it out. Go to saberradio dot com. Sabre
radio dot com. That's saberradio dot com. Say fifteen percent

a few minutes here to hear from all of you.
I know we've we covered a lot of ground this week.
The news cycle does move so much faster now than
and I mean now is in the last the Trump era.
It's a whole different a whole different deal just how
(19:20):
much stuff happens and how fast it happens, because you
have a president who can change the global news cycle
with a sentence or with a tweet or a truth,
as the case may be. But we want to get

some of your talkbacks here, which we really enjoy too.
Let's take Marty in the finger Lakes, which produces some
pretty fantastic wine up in New York. What's going on, Marty? Hey, Hi,
guys doing fantastic.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
I mean.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Senator Senator Biden did nothing as a legislator. He opposed
the civil rights he was best friends with Senator Bird.
He he was a terrible vice president. They pretty much
lacked him. In the closet twenty twenty rolls around, he
hides in his basement. He's got his his sunglasses on.
(21:05):
He can't really campaign. I would go backwards. Not only
did they cover up his dementia as president, I think
they were covering it all the way back to twenty twenty.
He certainly wasn't a top candidate for the Democrat Party
in the machine. He had no skills, he had no accomplishments.
(21:26):
But what made him valuable was is that he couldn't
do the job and they could do it for him.
And now we have questions about who was used in
the auto pen and all the other issues that go along.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Can I jump Can I jump in, Marty, just because
I want to say I agree with you. In twenty twenty,
before Clay and I teamed up on my own show,
I was very dismissive in the primary of Biden because
I said, this guy is not you know, his fastball
has gone if he ever had one, He's got cobwebs
in his brain. I mean it was clear in twe
this whole storyline they've done. Now they want to act
(22:00):
and Clay, I'm sure you're seeing this in the book.
They want to act like Biden. Just in the six
months of twenty twenty four, all of a sudden no, no, no,
this had been happening for years. I will concede it
got worse over the four years. But Clay, I think
our coller Marty is right on when he says it
was reckless to make this guy president in twenty twenty.
They weren't hiding him because of COVID. They were hiding
(22:22):
him because of Biden.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
COVID allowed them to hide him, and I do think
he got progressively worse. I think you can go back
if you watch Biden in October twenty twenty debate Trump,
he wasn't good. I mean Trump actually wiped the floor
with him, particularly in the second debate. The first debate,
Trump was just kind of I thought it was one
of his worst debates. Candidly back in twenty twenty, twenty
(22:45):
twenty four. Biden couldn't speak. And if you just put
those side by side again, Biden wasn't great in October
twenty twenty, and I just come back in it. It
does get brought up quite a lot the her interview
that he did with Biden. Remember Robert her everybody's forgotten
about Robert Herr, and everybody ripped him to shreds, and
they tried.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
To lie about him. He was completely vindicated.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, he was honest. He was like, look this guy,
I think put aside the politics for a second. His
job was as a prosecutor to look at this. And
he didn't come away and say Biden didn't break the law.
He's just like, guys, it is a thing in criminal
law where if somebody has simility and they're wandering out
in the street and their underwear like, you don't lock
(23:30):
them up in a cell because they're making you know,
that's a real thing. And he basically said, now you
can say, well, you know he was the president and okay,
but he was looking at it not as this guy's
a president. He's looking at it as did this guy
break the law as an American who should face the
wrath of the justice system. And he's like, he's too
he's too old and too too frail minded, which was true.
(23:51):
He was too old and frail. Too old is not
the right word, not of sound mind. The same way
that you know, you can have an insanity plea, you
can be somebody who has a dementia defense. And it
was a real truth that he was speaking at that time.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
I think Trump has been a good example of this
because Trump has tried not to go straight to age,
because there are eighty five year olds and ninety year
olds listening to us right now who are sharper by
far than the average fifty year old.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna say this all right,
this is the truth. And I know we haven't Clay
and I haven't coordinated this, but I think Clay would
agree with me. Although you do do a lot of media,
Like I've heard that. Every time I look up, I'm like,
I'm like making eggs in the morning, Clay's on Fox.
It's eleven o'clock at night, I'm putting a baby to bed. Clays,
you do a lot of media, right so, and I
do a fair amount of media too. You love you
(24:40):
to the media. I don't think either of us would
want to get into a like a media off at
this point with Trump, as in, just how many hours
of media can you do? Straight? I think I think
I could beat him, But but I knew, I knew
Clay would say that. He thinks I would be like
after hour four or five, I'd be like, I don't
have a voice. Whatever you and Trump, it would be
(25:01):
like the hunk versus the thing. I'm just doing more media.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
But I'm forty six, Like there is a zero I
would be stunned beyond belief if I mean, if I were,
this is the point.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
We could agree on. He has a freakish amount of
energy for his age, freakish off off the charts, I mean.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
And I think anybody out there who is seventy five
or eighty they understand this more right, because we're trying
to project, Hey, what are you going to feel? I
hope I feel good. I hope I make it, by
the way, I'll him make it to seventy nine. But
I'm forty six. I feel really good. I imagine most
of you out there, when you're in your forties, you
felt pretty good, energy, everything else. I can't imagine being
(25:41):
seventy nine and doing what he does. I mean, I mean,
in all honesty, Biden, the fact that he needed to
sleep ten hours a night or be in bed for
ten hours a night, the fact that he needed to
take naps, that's actually super normal. Like they say in
the in the book again that Biden was a guy
who always needed and some of you are like this,
(26:04):
and I wish, by the way, I only needed four
hours of sleep a night.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
I need more than that. I don't need a ton.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
But Biden always needed eight hours of sleep or he
wasn't able to function. That was when he was at
his best in his forties and fifties. And there's a
lot of people like that, a lot of you out
there right now. You're like, boy, if I if I
get six hours sleep, I can't do anything.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
And so I'm like a nine nine and a half
hour sleep guy, I really really like my sleep. I'm
not gonna lie. So it's title the baby. Sometimes I don't. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
welcome to the team. Just told me this. I don't
even know this was on the day they're always pulling,
you know, news soundbites for US cut twenty four. We
did not I didn't even see this on the sheet
before it's cut twenty four today, Susie Wild's White House
(26:48):
chief of staff Clay She was speaking about exactly what
we're talking about. I promise you I did not even
know that this was on our sheet today. Listen to
what the chief of staff says, play twenty four.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
He never stopped walking. And so when you combine work
ethic that's unparalleled with a wish list, that's very long
and an appetite for success. For the American people, this
is what you get.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
Yeah, hit the ground running. But I guess we see
that Donald Trump works in Trump speed, warp speed, but
that also means that the people who work for him
do the same. Do you ever find it hard keeping up?
Speaker 6 (27:24):
I don't know of another mortal who could really keep up.
I work as hard as I can, and I think
I do. I do fine, or at least if I don't.
He hasn't told me that yet, but it is. It
is superhuman pace, There's no question. And if you look
around at the staff, they're all young but me. So
there's a reason for that.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
As on Miranda Miranda Divine's excellent podcast, by the Way,
sitting Down with Susie Wiles. But Clay, this is the truth.
We always joke around every time we do an interview
with Trump, which you've all listened to on the show
many times, it's Clay right at the staff is like, look, guys,
we'll give you, We'll give you ten minutes. Trump is
just he's just like cracking his knuckles and getting started.
After talking for ten minutes, he could do three hours.
(28:05):
I always like I'm waiting for one that has come up,
be like, you know what, guys, you take a break,
go get some milkshakes. I'll take over for an hour
or two.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Like he would just sit at the mic and go,
I don't again seventy nine years old. I don't think
there are very many people that can do this. And
I would just point out they tried to argue that
Trump needed to be twenty fifth amendmented in his first time.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
This is what I mean about they accuse us of
what they're doing. I mean, but they needed a twenty
fifth amendment. Biden Trump is the opposite of somebody who
needs the twenty fifth Amendment.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
But isn't it funny that that argument vanished Like years ago,
they were arguing in twenty seventeen, hey we need to
twenty fifth amendment the guy. Eight years later, the guy's
still going full speed and they don't even.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Attempt to make the argument.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
I have a thought on this too, and I'm not
I'm not sure of this theory or I'm putting it
out there, but I kind of think I kind of
think that part of the Now. I know it was
a Senate seed and that's important, and that's in the
balance and everything else. But remember when Dasha was it
Dashah Burns, is that right?
Speaker 2 (29:10):
What that was?
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Came out and said, look, I talked to Fetterman and
the guys having some issues. I feel like maybe it
was subconscious and I could be reaching here. But for
a lot of Democrats in the media, there was a
sense of, you can't talk about Fetterman's cognitive issues because
good God, imagine if we started talking about Biden's cognitive issues,
(29:32):
like I think there may have been an elevated sensitivity
about Fetterman among the people who cover politics, because it
could have if that had opened up a little bit
more people would have also said, well, while we're talking
about Fetterman, what about the president?
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You know, in original sin the biggest defender of Biden
is Fetterman. And he actually says in the wake, there's
a they take you into the Democrat Senate caucus room,
and only five senators out of fifty one or whatever
the heck it was raised their hand that they would
support Biden if he were to run, that they thought
(30:10):
he should run. One of them was Fetterman. And Fetterman said,
I had a way worse debate than Biden, and I
still won, and I think that to your point, Buck,
when you were on Buck Island, I think that if
they had just all battened down the hatches and said
(30:31):
that was a bad debate, but he's still better than
Trump and tried to go full Fetterman, because remember what
they said with Fetterman was oh, yeah, he may not
be able to talk. They even came out and said
maybe the United States Senate should have somebody who's disabled.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
I mean, that's a crazy freaking argument, Clay. They were
attacking people like you and me for mocking somebody with disabilities,
as if if we were picking a track team, we
generally wouldn't pick somebody who and it's no offense to them.
Speaker 8 (31:05):
Has no arms and legs like it's what they were Basically,
they were arguing, hey, maybe we need a disabled person
in the Senate to really represent disabled interests.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
And I mean that's how far they were willing to go.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
And and Fetterman stood up and look, I think Fetterman's
wrong on a lot.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
I think he's been right on Israel. I think you
can give him some credit.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
That showed some spine and some courage. And we've said
it all along, we don't play the game of everything
somebody says is bad because they're on where the jersey
of the other side.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I actually give Fetterman credit because when everybody else was
jumping off, he raised his hand and said, I've got
Joe Biden's back. He had my back. When I had
an awful debate, I still won. I still think that
Biden can win.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
Now.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
I think Biden would have lost. And in the book
they lay out, Hey, he was struggling in Minnesota, New Mexico, Virginia,
New Jersey states that otherwise should be very comfortably in
the Democrat camp historically, and maybe they would have gotten
blindsided the likes of which we hadn't seen since eighty four.
Maybe I tend to think he wouldn't have been as
(32:12):
bad as Commelin.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Now.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
The flip side of that is seventy five percent of
people basically had decided Biden didn't have the mental or
physical capacity, and there was nothing he could do to
reverse that opinion.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
I just want to point out Clay is now rummaging
through the wreckage of Buck Island and offering pennies on
the dollar for some of the real estate that went under.
You know, he's all of a sudden He's like, you know,
it wasn't that crazy of an idea. Maybe this could maybe.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
We can put up a barrier island. Maybe we can
put up a you know, like Venice still still exist.
I mean, you know, it's an underwater kingdom, New Orleans.
I'm telling you guys.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
Theis on this. My thesis on this was sound. I
overestimated the political intelligence of the Democrats in the moment,
which was on which is on me? Which is on me?
All right, we'll come back into this. We'll take some
calls and and also get into some more the news
of the day. But you know, under the things that
you can track category, the number of dollars being spent
by central banks in different countries on gold right now
(33:08):
is pretty astonishing. It's being purchased at a really high volume,
and that's causing prices to go up. In fact, gold
has appreciated more than twenty five percent in the past
six months alone. It's a good value now and will
continue to increase in value with all the central bank
purchase activity going on. Birch Gold makes owning physical gold

The University of Tennessee has Davy Crockett inspired football uniforms
that they are going to be using this fall, which
is super cool for those of you.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Who are aware.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Ten University of Tennessee has a Davy Crockett coonskin cap
wearing mascot on the sideline with a musket. Obviously, I'm
from Tennessee and Davy Crockett as a hero here. But
this is representative of the fact that we love American
history and think that American history and American heroes is
a good thing. And if you agree with that, then

And so, by the way, I want to say this too,
if you hear screaming in the background, I promise that
no one has been in peril in my house.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Legit. I don't know if people have heard it.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Downstairs, my boys Buck have the new NCAA college football
video game that came out this week. They are playing
it like fiends because they're out of school for summer,
and they are yelling. And I've had to go downstairs
stairs multiple times during breaks and be like, guys, like,
I'm working.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Up here, and they're like, but this game. Can you
believe they just did?
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Anyway, I promise everything is fine. They are yelling and
screaming downstairs, literally right below the studio, playing this new
video game.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
So that is what is going on there.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
What are you gonna lead us into next? Man, what's
the third hour we're gonna start with or get into.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
We've got some more of these comments about Biden and
the Fifth and Trump is also saying Brennan and the
CIA director are in trouble.
