Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, welcome back in to Clay and Buck. Second
hour kicks off now, and just want to let you
know if you were trying to listen to the interview
yesterday with the President of Taiwan, if you happen to
miss any of it, it was up at It is
up at Clayanbuck dot com, or you can listen on
the podcast. I think it is well worth going to
check it out because things are heating up in that
(00:22):
part of the world. China is definitely gearing up for
an invasion of Taiwan. It's just a question of when
and if they pull the trigger. When they pulled the trigger,
So very important part of the world and really interesting
series of conversations there, most notably with the President of Taiwan.
So you can see that at Clayanbuck dot com and
(00:43):
please go and check that out now.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
President Trump just in the Oval office a few moments ago.
He's down the street, he's not far off from where
I'm doing the show. And here he is on the
Democrat Party what he thinks of their leadership thirty four.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
And I really think that these are people that I
think they have nothing to lose. They have a party
that's out of control. They have no leader. Nobody knows
who the leader is. I look at people with very
low IQs like Crockett. This woman Crockett, I never met her,
but she's a low IQ individual. I look at AOC
talking about how if they want to negotiate, they can
(01:22):
come to my office. She's done in that position to
do that, and who the hell is she just say that?
And then I watched Nancy Pelosi not knowing what to do.
I watch their leadership loop. Schumer is petrified of primary
because he's not going to win probably against anybody in
a primary. You know, Schumer did the right thing, but
he handled it badly. Originally a year ago, he did
(01:44):
probably the right thing, but he handled badly. I think
Schumer is incapable of making a deal.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
They are a mess.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
They're a party that has no leadership. They have and
they have no policy. You know, we have great we
have great I think we have great leadership, but we
also great policy. Their leadership loop. Schumer is petrified of
primary because he's not going to win probably against anybody
in a primary. You know, Schumer did the right thing,
(02:11):
but he handled it badly. Originally a year ago, he
did probably the right thing, but he handled it badly.
I think Schumer's incapable of making a deal. They are
a mess. They're a party that has no leadership. They
have and they have no policy. You know, we have
great we have great I think we have great leadership,
but we also have great policy.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I think he's right, But let's let's unpack this for
a second. The claim from the President that the Democrats
don't have leadership right now, I think you'd have to
agree with that to the to the degree that it
is possible for me to be objective on this, which
I know is that's a challenge, right because I am
(02:54):
a Republican and don't agree with the Democrats. I understand
all that, but trying to take a step back and
look at this as honestly as possible. If the Democrats
had a day fact like the Taiwan but the brutal
experience of reading Kamala's one hundred and seven days and
it felt like it took one hundred and seven days
to read, so the title is apt, and really I
(03:17):
think she did not endear herself to anyone in the
Democrat party or the reader. I came away from it
thinking this is a person who has never really been tested,
has been elevated by the system for superficial characteristics all along.
And you have somebody who's just not a talented politician,
(03:40):
got way beyond her skill set. And so I don't
think that she's going anywhere in politics, meaning I don't
think she's going somewhere. It's off the stage. You have
Gavin Newsom. Oh, you've got Pritzker. He's really trying to
make a go of things these days. He really believes
that he's a big deal. And this is what this
(04:03):
is the kind of leadership be This has cut ten
this kind of leadership you get from this guy. He's
a jerk. Play it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Donald Trump is using our service members as political props
and as pawns in his illegal effort to militarize our
nation's cities. For weeks now, Donald Trump, Christynome, and Gregory
Bovino have brought their militarized CBP and ICE agents to
the streets of Chicago to cause violence and chaos in
(04:31):
this city. They need to stop inciting our city's residents.
Since the beginning of this invasion, families have been snatched
up off the streets or removed.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
From their homes.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
ZIP tied and detained for hours, including especially US citizens
and legal residents of our state.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Inciting the people of Chicago. Think about the framing from
the governor here, who certainly thinks of himself as a
heavy wait. Think of the way that he discusses this.
The problem isn't the riots. The problem isn't the lawlessness
and the disrespect shown to federal officers. It's that they're there,
(05:16):
and Democrats in Chicago are having some kind of collective
nervous breakdown in response to it, and so they can't
be held accountable for their actions. That the real problem here,
The real issue is the deployment in the first place. Uh.
That's a That's a pretty crazy point of view, isn't it.
(05:38):
And yet this is the governor of Illinois who certainly
thinks himself as a contender for the Democrat the mantle
of Democrat leadership. Chuck Schumer, as Trump and others have
been discussing, he's just trying to hold on because the
Democrat party that that he has managed to sit atop
(05:59):
in different ways for a long time now. He's been
involved in this longer than I That was funny, actually funny.
Yesterday were talking to Speaker of the House. He's like Buck,
He's he's been doing this for almost as long. I'm like, no,
longer than I've been alive. Actually, Chuck Schumer is Chuck
Schumer has been in the Senate longer than I have
been on this earth. So that tells you something. But
(06:21):
this is where we are now. Chuck Schumer running for cover.
He knows the radical left fringe of his party is ascendants,
and they can't stop it. There No, this is the thing.
They can't reason with their left wing base any more
than we can because they're lunatics, and so by definition,
there's no way there's no common ground to have with them.
(06:44):
The only thing that they can do is try to
keep them at bay long enough to fool enough voters,
to keep the Democrat seats in more purplish areas, and
to try this is the game every election cycle. Democrats,
to win enough votes to have power, have to pretend
that they're not actually Democrats. It's certainly what's going on
(07:07):
with Alison whatever her name is in Virginia, and by
the way, it might as well be whatever her name
is her last name, because her whole game is nobody
knows anything about this lady, really like, what does she
stand for? I don't know the Democrat. It's a lady.
It's about all we know. You know, span Burger, span Burger.
(07:28):
What does span Burger stand for? Well, if you really
were to dig into it, it would be probably abortion,
all nine months of her pregnancy and DEI and transgender
stuff and all the but she doesn't talk about that.
The whole game is I'm so boring and lacking in charisma.
How dangerous can I be? And that's what a lot
(07:51):
of these Democrats do. They put forward this, this trojan
horse in the Purple States of Well, I'm not one
of those, AOC mom, do any Democrats? I'm something else.
And unfortunately, because a lot of people spend time thinking
about their lives and not politics, and I can respect that.
I don't really cast stones. I wish everybody was very
(08:14):
informed on these things, but you know, you got lives
to lead, and so they just whatever's on the TV.
They go, Okay, this person seems pretty moderate, and what
is a moderate Democrat these days? Chuck Schumer is starting
to look like a moderate Democrat these days, just because
he's not insane. I mean, he's bad news, but he's
not as looney as some of these others, and he's
(08:35):
maybe gonna lose his job because of it. So we
go back to the initial question, or the initial premise
by President Trump, who's the leader of the Democrat Party.
This is the first time in a long time there
has not been an Nobody would have asked that question.
Obviously for the eight years of Obama, and if it
wasn't Obama, the answer was Clinton, and somehow, believe it
(08:58):
or not, what the answer wasn't Clinton, the end became Biden.
So there there has been a leader of the Democrat
Party for a long time now. And I would argue
that in the in the Bush years, even the answer
was still Clinton for a lot of people. That's why
that show the West Wing, where that half wit Martin
Sheen plays the like brilliant scholar president. It was really
(09:21):
just the stealth presidency for Libs during the during the
Bush years. And I remember I was in the CIA
at the time, and so yeah, I would flip this
thing on sometimes I'm like, oh, this is where the
lives where the Libs get to feel safe and warm. Oh,
look at this president. He has a PhD in economics
and he likes baseball, just like all the Democrats these
you know, that was it was their fantasy land, their
Aaron Sorkin provided fantasy land presidency. But we've always known
(09:46):
who the leader is. We've always known who the who
the top dog is in the Democrat Party until now,
because there isn't one. And Trump is just pointing that out.
He's he's wait, wait, wait, did I say, yeah, Abigail Spanberger?
I did? I got her name right, didn't I? It
took me a minute. Oh that I oh, I said.
There you go. That's how memorable she is. Alison Abigail
(10:07):
Potato Potato whatever. Yeah, Abigail span burger Man. She really
stands for a lot. Uh, you know, no no idea.
She's just hoping that enough Virginians get their politics from
having like the drone of CNN on in the background.
And then you know when they're watching Who Wants to
(10:28):
Be a Millionaire, and there's some political ads running that say, oh,
she's gonna do great things for the schools and she's
gonna help working families. It's just the pablem, the the
milk toast. Like the way that Democrats win in purple
states is like they it's like they smother you with
a boring pillow of it'll be fine. You know, she's
(10:53):
not gonna do anything crazy, and you just go, Okay,
how bad can it be? And at some level, by
the way, this was the I didn't play in twenty twenty.
Good old Joe, he's so old, he's so old and
and kind of feeble. How dangerous can he be? Well vary,
as we saw, because he wasn't calling the shots. The
(11:13):
left wing activists around him were the ones calling the shots.
So in a sense, the answer to the question who's
the leader of the Democrat Party is well, because they're
leftists and increasingly commies, it's really a collective. You could say,
there is no one leader. There are a bunch of
different people who adhere to an ideology of collectivism, and
(11:35):
they like the Committee, if you will, they're like the
Committee for the Undermining and Destruction of America. That's what
the that's the leader of the Democrat Party. Other than that,
you can put in a bunch of different names. You know,
you can look at narcissistic individuals like Newsome and Pritzker,
and you know what you think about someone like Pritzker
(11:57):
is I know these people say Oh, he's a billionaire.
Has he ever had a I know he's the governor now,
but let's be honest. Anybody can do these jobs, right.
This is one thing that we've learned in this new
era of politics. It's hard to get some of these jobs.
You need a lot of money, you need a lot
of name recognition. But doing it, I don't know. And
look at some of these people who have had these jobs.
(12:19):
Has Pritzker ever done a hard day's work? Is really
the question. And now I don't mean like in the gym,
I mean in general, has he ever done a hard
day's work? I don't think so. Does he have any
understanding whatsoever? Oh? People will say, but how dare you
look at Trump? He grew up also very privileged everything else. Yeah,
(12:39):
but people who do hard days work like him, and
he seems to understand them and have a kinship with them.
And you can't fake that because the people who do
the hard days work can tell they know. John Kerrey
tried it a lot of others have tried it. Oh,
I'm just like you. I'm like, hello, fellow working class people.
Look at my carhard jacket like it doesn't work. It
(13:02):
doesn't work. Somehow Trump is different and we all know that.
Uh look, I'll take your calls here. Eight hundred two
eight two two eight a two. Do you think who
is the leader of the Democrat Party. I put that
question out to you. Trump says there isn't one. I
tend to agree with him. I think right now, if
we were ranking them, I go, wow, this is like,
this isn't This is not a fun list. You know,
(13:24):
this is like ranking painful medical procedures or something. I go,
Gavin Newsom number one slot. I go, I might put
AOC at number two. And I know she's not senior
in the but she's power. She's more powerful than these
other Democrats. She just is. Please you think if Pritzker
(13:45):
and AOC go head to head, I mean, she's gonna
She's gonna smoke that guy. Uh So, yeah, we'll see.
Let me know what you think. Following the nine eleven attacks,
New York City firefighter Daniel Foley assisted in the rescue
and recovery efforts at Ground Zero. At that time, he
couldn't have known that his heroism would later cost him
his life. Daniel spent months at Ground Zero searching for victims,
including his firefighter brother, Thomas Foley, who was killed in
(14:08):
the attacks. Daniel's father also took part in the efforts
at Ground Zero. He died years later from a rare
nine to eleven related leukemia. Daniel's death, like so many others,
was also a direct result of nine to eleven related cancer.
He leaves behind his wife, Carrie and their five children.
Tunnel to Towers paid the mortgage on the family's home.
Every day we see the toll that nine to eleven

and stability in the face of uncertainty, while also bringing hope.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
Want to be in the know when you're on the go.

The Team forty seven podcast trump highlights from the week
Somedays at noon Eastern in the klan Bug podcast feed.
Find it on the iHeartRadio AM wherever you get your podcast.
Welcome back in here to Clay and Buck. Let's get
some calls love hearing from all of you across America. Uh,
(15:10):
let's see. Joe in Montgomery, Alabama wants the way. What's
going on, Joe.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Ay Man.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Great to talk to you guys. I'm I'm sort of interested.
This has never been this has not been talked about.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yet, right, but I don't know. You tell me what
are we talking about?
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (15:32):
Right, well, well I thought your screening would tell you.
I'm talking about the tolls, the telephone calls with the
senators and things like that. So, Jill, the a f
B I they have they have administrative subpoenia powers. Yes,
you can get a subpoenia for tolls.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
But I used to do this in the NYPD for
counter charist investigations. See, it's actually very easy to get
toll information.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
It's very easy. But that means the supervisor.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Has signed off on it. Oh yeah, yeah, I think
that the supervisor might have just been fired if I'm
reading between the lines here of what Cash Mattel is
saying as a director FBI or at least some people
have been fired already, is my understanding. In the last
twenty four hours from the FBI.
Speaker 5 (16:22):
None of that has been brought up. And you know,
tolls are to predicate for pin registers, tolls, which leads
to a pin register, which leads to basic surveillance and
things of your target to go up on a what
an intersect? Yes, note that's been talked about that and
(16:42):
I'm just wondering, so you know, okay.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Great, is there a question here where we go? Where
are we going with this? I mean we're talking about
it right now, So what do you what do you
think or what do you want to know?
Speaker 5 (16:52):
Well, I'm just thinking is that there hadn't been proved.
It'll provide the underlying information about why.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Oh yeah, all right, Joe, thank you for calling in.
I mean, look, I think that the problem here and
Joe is getting it something worthwhile here, which is what
was the predicate or what was the basis for this?
But Director Patel said they're baseless. So this just goes
to how corrupt some elements of the FBI were in
these in this investigation, that they were willing to sign
(17:23):
off on things that never should have been signed off on,
just like the PFISA warrants by the way, that they
used during Crossfire hurricane in Arctic whatever it's called Arctic
snow Fox or something or other. This, this other this
other case Arctic fire that wouldn't make sense. Uh, then
(17:45):
the same thing has happened where you have people who
just hate Trump and all will hate Republicans were saying, yeah,
let's just pull their phone stuff to see if we
can get them jammed up. Look, no one likes hearing
that a neighbor's home was burglarized. Immediately gets people worried,
a little bit on edge when this happen, and makes
you think about the best ways to protect your family
and yourself if your home is invaded. Start with the
(18:05):
self protection products from a company Saber Sabre. Their website
is Saber radio dot com. They make best in class
non lethal weapons and devices to protect you and your family.
Sabers pepper sprays, pepper gels, and projectile devices are made
here in the USA. They are so quality and so useful.
(18:26):
Projectiles in the shape of for example, the pepper projectile shooter,
it's either a pistol or rifle shape really recommended for
stopping the threat non lethally. Be ready to defend yourself
with Sabers Home defense projectile launcher. Like I said, easy
to use. I've been out the range and use it
before you can just train with this thing in your backyard.
Act now and say fifteen percent on Sabers megabundle with
(18:47):
extra projectiles, magazines and practice targets. Go to saberradio dot com.
That's Sabre radio dot com or call eight four four
a two four safe eight four four eight two four safe.
Welcome back in to Clay and Buck and something. As
I was talking about, Uh, Alison span Dexter at what
(19:12):
Abigail span whatever, Abigail span Burger. She doesn't want you
to know her name. She just wants she just wants
people in Virginia to vote Democrat. Who don't know what's
going on? Really, you know, that's the whole She's who
is she?
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Man?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Does it matter? Vote Democrat? What does she believe? Where
does she stand on the trans thing? Whoa? WHOA? Hold
on a second, don't don't try to put you know,
don't try to put Alison Poindexter in a corner here,
You know what I mean. She's whatever she's got to say,
she's gonna say, and she's gonna do things. When it
(19:52):
comes to doing things as governor of Virginia, they're gonna
get done and some are not gonna get done. But
at least you'll know that while she's doing them, she
seeks to do things that will get done. Something like that.
I mean, I think I just wrote her campaign commercial,
or rather I just shared with you the majority of
her campaign commercials as I am here in the DC
(20:13):
area now, so I'm seeing plenty of this she is, Uh. Yeah.
The whole point is to put someone forward who is
effectively an enigma and entirely unremarkable to win in a
purple state because a Democrat who's like, hey, I'm a
proud Democrat who will defend these issues and who will
speak clearly with what I want to do, not not
(20:35):
the platitudes. I want to make things more affordable. Are
you gonna wave your affordability wand look how that worked
out for Obamacare. Oh wait, I'm weaving. I know I'm weaving,
but this is so important. There was actually a piece
in the Washington Post. I pulled this out. This is
a quote from the Washington Post yesterday. The real problem
(20:58):
this is talking about the shutdown and that ACA money,
Affordable Care Act money and all this stuff. This is
a quote. The real problem is that the Affordable Care
Act was never actually affordable. President Barack Obama's signature achievement
allowed people to buy insurance on marketplaces with subsidies based
on their income. The architects of the program assumed that
(21:21):
risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be,
hm As a result, policies cost more than expected. End quote,
Yeah a lot more. You're paying probably double triple what
you were before Obamacare for a crappier plan. By the way,
Oh yeah, thanks Obamacare. But plenty of illegals getting lots
(21:43):
of care so that you got that going for you,
which is nice. So yeah, that's that's where that's where
we are on this one. Uh So, when Antoinette Spanmeister
becomes the next governor of Virginia, you will know that
the people of Virginia didn't do their homework and didn't
(22:04):
pay attention to who actually she is or what she
stands for. And that was the whole point. Speaking of Virginia,
I wanted to get onto this for a second. You
have this guy here we go, what's his name? This
is important? J Jones, Jay Jones. He is running for
Attorney General of Virginia. Jason Miar is currently Attorney General,
(22:26):
doing a very nice job. We've had mister Attorney general.
Mayor's on the show a few times, but ag candidate
j Jones. It has come out that he has This
has all been published. I think National Review got the
scoop on this one. Three people, two bullets, Gilbert hit
(22:47):
I'm quoting here, Gilbert Hitler and Paul Pott. Gilbert gets
two bullets to the head. Spoiler. Put Gilbert in the
crew with the two worst people you know, and he
receives both bullets every time. The texts, first reported by
National View on Friday, were sent around eight am on
August eighth, twenty twenty two to a Republican House Delegate,
Carrie Coyner, who was clearly troubled by the messages. Jay,
(23:10):
please stop, He wrote back, it really bothers me when
you talk about hurting people. If those guys die before me,
Jones said, I will go to their funerals to piss
on their graves. Let me see there's more. There's more.
He says, something to you about until they Democrats said, yes,
I've told this before. Only when people feel pain personally
(23:31):
do they move on policy. He says, you weren't trying
to understand. Coinner texted Jones, you were talking about hoping
Jennifer Gilbert's children would die, and then he said, yeah,
only when people feel when people feel pain, do they
move on policy. This guy wants to be the top
law enforcement official for the state of Virginia, and he
(23:55):
writes things like that, any do anyone, does anyone out
there want to make the case that he would be
fair minded to Republicans in his state. The guy fantasizes
about Republicans dying and their children dying and then doubles
down on it. And he is supposed to be the
top law enforcement official for Virginia. This is honestly, this
(24:17):
is pathetic, This is outrageous, and it's sad someone like
this even being in the contest to be any kind
of law enforce I wouldn't let this guy be chief
dog catcher in my town. He's going to be the
attorney general, he's going to be possibly he's running, obviously
(24:39):
I'm hoping it doesn't happen. And now there's all these
calls for him to drop out. And the commentary on
this has been pretty straightforward. The assessments from a lot
of my Republican right wing I like right wing better
right wing colleagues in the media I think has been
spot on. It is the immediate and obvious react to
(25:01):
calls to have him drop out. He's not going to
drop out. And the reason he's not going to drop
out of the Virginia Attorney general race is that Democrats
have no problem with what he said or what he texted.
That's obvious. Any of you have a left wing person
that you know in your life who does all the
(25:24):
Facebook posting and everything else, whether it's a colleague or
even a family member or somebody else, and you saw
this a lot after the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk.
They say insane things and they mean it. This is
how they think about the world. This is very common
among Democrats, and they have no problem with it. They
(25:46):
don't disagree with their right. They have disdain, they have
discussed for the right, and they celebrate when people who
they view as important to the right or right wing
are harmed or even killed. They celebrate. They have no
problem with this, and we have to just deal with
this as a country. I wish it weren't so, because
(26:07):
the implications of it are so depressing and so concerning
for America. I really mean that I know it might
sound a little extreme, but it's true. It's really a
huge concern for the country that you have so many
people that take this point of view. But that's why
there's no chance this guy's going to drop out. No
(26:29):
chance he's going to drop out, and Democrats don't want
him to drop out. He's just texting what they text
too to people. You know, he's writing what they write
in their discord chats or on their Facebook pages or whatever.
And it's so normal to Democrats to be really nasty
publicly about their politics. It is a big cultural political
(26:53):
difference in this country. You all know about this. You know,
you tell a Republican you've experienced this in your own life.
If you're a Republican, a right wing or whatever, you
have somebody come up to you and they want to
engage you on something. As long as they're being normal
you tend to be, meaning not super aggressive or cursing
you out or something. You'll talk to them about it,
(27:15):
and frankly, I don't care. When I have some like
leftist friend of a friend, occasionally this will happen. They'll say,
you know, or or you know, did you really support
the following? I Usually I've gotten very good at And
this is what I always advise people in my own
life to do. If you have some commie who's trying
to bait you into an uncomfortable, uh conversation. I'm not
(27:37):
talking about at a forum where you know you're in
the classroom or you're in a moment where you want
a debate. I'm saying, you know, you're waiting in line
for coffee because this kind of thing happens to me
and someone comes up, do you really agree with? Anytime
someone starts with do you really agree with? I'm like,
this is gonna be fun, you know, because it's not.
They're not even gonna say the thing that's happening. They're
(27:58):
not gonna say do you really agree with deportations, which,
by the way, most of the country does, solid majority,
and deportation of criminals is like seventy percent something like that.
Do you really agree with Trump acting in a fascist
manner and expelling all these all these blobber you know,
they get all. I'm telling you The best thing to
(28:18):
do is go, man, the world's a crazy place. Just
say something like that. It will drive them nuts. Don't engage,
don't don't give them the benefit of your wisdom and
your time. If they're going to come at you like that,
if they want to have a conversation. Of course we
on the right believe in that exchange of ideas, right,
(28:41):
as exemplified by Charlie Kirk, as exemplified by Rush Limbaugh
on this program for so many years. We want to
educate people, we want to talk to them, we want
to engage in ideas. But if you're gonna act like
a lunatic, I gotta deal with you like a lunatic. Right,
So find your phrase. This is just a little, a
little tip. Ll you find your shut it down phrase.
(29:04):
It's just make it. You can make it so boring,
give them nothing to work with. You know what another
really good one is. And this isn't gonna work well
in radio because you don't want to have dead air.
But when someone asks you a really annoying question, why
do you support Trump's Nazi policies? Are gonna something like that.
You're an ethyl at Thanksgiving it's coming up, and we
always do this, Oh what do you do with Thanksgiving?
(29:25):
The annoying relative When an ethyl is like, well, well,
why do you why do you support the insurrection? You
just go you just take a long pause and respond
to their question with that's a really interesting question, and
then say nothing else and just see if you can
wake them out. I'm telling you they're gonna get tired
(29:46):
of because they'll keep coming at you, they'll keep coming in.
But if you don't give them anything to work with,
it becomes exhausting. You know, it's like a It's like
a cat with a little ball of yarn. You know,
eventually they get tired of it. Just be the ball
of yarn. Don't give them anything fun and uh, and
they'll they'll tire of it and they'll move on because
there's nothing to be gained by trying to it, by
(30:07):
trying to play the game the way that they want to,
because it'll inevitably just it'll ruin your day, it'll ruin
your meal. And there's no point. I don't want that
to happen to you. Now, if you listen to this show,
you got all the arguments, and if you want to
get into a real back and forth with somebody, who
but it has to be within the grounds of being respectful.
Is the point. The second someone's gonna name call or
or or gonna go full Jay Jones and wish you harm.
(30:31):
There's no point you're You're just allowing them to vent
their spleen at you and have their emotional instability bring
you into the you know, their their vortex of dissatisfaction
with whatever's going on in their day, and I just
I think that it's best, it's best to avoid that. So, yeah,
(30:52):
Jay Jones is gonna stay in. He's not gonna drop
out in my opinion. In my opinion, I could be wrong,
probably not though, Uh. And the most important takeaway from
this is one Democrats say this kind of stuff. They
wish horrible things for Republicans on it. I mean, I
can literally tell you this with a one hundred percent I've
never wished death on a fellow American because of their
(31:14):
politics in my whole life. Like, it's never even occurred
to me to want that or to think that. And
I would be ashamed of myself if I even thought it,
never mind if I texted it. Right, Oh, you know,
they're really bad on the border, so I wish, you know,
they would get hit by a bus and really mean that.
This is this is unfortunately far too common among Democrats,
(31:36):
and that's why there's no political consequence for if anything,
this is what's really scary among a lot of Democrats.
This is brand enhancing, it's brand enhansing. They read these
text messages and they go, yeah, he's a fighter and
he hates them and if he's attorney general, he'll lock
them up. Pay attention, my friends. They are telling you.
These democrats are telling you who they are, and unfortunately
(32:02):
it's ugly out there. The Preborn Network of Clinics stands
out as a nonprofit that do incredible work saving the
lives of unborn children every day, like we'red of time,
when lies spread quickly and the truth can feel costly,
But for Linda, the cost of silence could have meant
the end of her baby's life. When Linda learned she
was pregnant, she knew abortion was wrong, but fear almost
(32:23):
consumed her, let her to dark places. She didn't know
where to turn. Then she found a Preborn Network clinic.
She was met with prayer, compassion, and the truth that
pierced through her fear, and Linda shows life for her baby.
Linda got truthful answers about matters related to her unborn
child at that Preborn clinic. Because when a mother hears
that heartbeat, lives are saved. Just twenty eight dollars provides
(32:46):
the free ultrasound to let mom hear that heartbeat, just
like Linda did. That single gift, that experience of being
introduced to her unborn child makes all the difference. So
to all of you who are pro life, this is
your chance to make a differ diference to Will you
answer the call, pick up your phone, dial pound two
five zero and say the word baby. That's pound two
(33:08):
five zero, say baby. Or donate securely at preborn dot com,
slash buck that's preborn dot com, slash b u c
K sponsored by Preborn News. You can count on as
some laughs too, Clay Travis at Buck Sexton, find them
on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your
(33:29):
podcasts sell out of calls. Let's get to some calls. Here.
We have Mike in Chesapeake, Virginia wants to talk. What's
going on?
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Mike, Hey was listening to you. I was listening to
Rush and eighty eight. I picked up on one of
his principles, if you go ahead and tell take your
opponent and make everybody laugh about it, then you discredit them.
And I decided that as much as flexing that's going
on in the Democrat part already here in Virginia. We
(34:02):
should call them spandex HM. The other thing. The other
thing is two years ago I was running for the
ninety second House of Delegates district, and I discovered that,
after engaging with one of my opponents' supporters, that we
actually agreed on abortion. And what I found really remarkable
(34:23):
is how long is it going to take them to
stop listening to their their leadership and listening to the
other side, and realize that we actually hold the same
stop looking at us in a hate form passion, and
listen to our words.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Did you did you win that race?
Speaker 2 (34:41):
No?
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Eh, your nicknames didn't pull you through on that one,
my friend, thank you, thank you very much for calling in. Mike.
Call them spandex. I don't know. I think the spandex
is like people that that's in good shape. That's kind
of you know, right, I mean, I don't know. It's
like you don't want to call your opponent like the
six pack guy. Well, it's as we're talking beer, we're
talking abs. John in Buffalo, New York. What's going on? John?
Speaker 6 (35:07):
Yeah, Clay uh bucking, I'm buck.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
It's all right. The other guy's clay. It's cool. We
go back and forth. What's up.
Speaker 6 (35:14):
Yeah, I hadn't seen Governor Pritzker till a few months ago.
And it's obvious he's very articular. He's an articulate man,
which suggests he's an intelligent man. How can he be
for such stupid suggest such stupid thing. He can't possibly
actually believe bringing people into help solve crime problems in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
And it's just, you know, you ask a good question.
I think with someone like Pritzker, it's just the raw
desire for power. It's whatever he has to say, just
like Gavin Newsom. I might add, if the winds were
blowing in the other direction, these guys would shift immediately.
They want power. I mean, you're somebody like Pritzker. Thanks
(35:56):
for calling in, John. There's somebody like Pritzker who is
the sign of a billionaire family. Money has never really
had any meaning to him. He's never had the work
for anything. That can create a very toxic combination which
you actually see in a lot of politicians of extreme
arrogance and extreme insecurity, and and this need to fill,
(36:18):
as we call it, the hole in the soul right
with with power, with prominence, and being a man or
a woman who stands in the center of history. So
that's what I think you get with somebody like Pritzker
and Gavin Newsom. And this is why the Democrats are
going to continue to have these people fighting for prominence.
(36:39):
All Right, we've got Carol Mark. What's coming up. It's
a two year anniversary of the October seventh attack on Israel.
I want to talk to her about that and also
well about everything going on here in DC, the shutdown,
and whatever else comes to mind. So we'll have a
great chat with Carol coming up, just a few
