Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to the Clay and Bucks Show. I'm your
guest host today, David Rutt, brother for former Navy seal,
CIA contractor and World Championship performance coaching man the Frost.
Two hours have flown by so excited, and this third
hour is gonna be the money hour, so please please
play attention. And I just want to come right out
(00:22):
of the gate and bring on my good friend, former
Navy seal, one of the top shooting instructors in his business.
He has best business out there. He does child trafficking.
He has a trafficking organization, and now he is running
for US Senate in the state of Alabama. Ladies and gentlemen,
(00:44):
without further ado, I want to welcome mister Jared Hudson
to the show.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Jared, you there, buddy, Dave.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Brother?
Speaker 4 (00:51):
How you doing.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
I'm living a dream right now, my man.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I cannot believe I am hosting a Nash only syndicated
radio talk show.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
It's because you're the man, bro.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I guess that's what it is. I don't know. Maybe
it's like Christmas coming true, right, that's what it is.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
But look, I'll tell you what it is in Proverbs.
It says, find a man who's good at his work,
and he'll serve before kings and not obscure men. I
mean that means that you have been great at your work.
So congratulations and thanks for having me on.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Bro dude. It's like the greatest gift in the world
is to be able to bring you on with your wisdom.
I just you know how much I love you and
how much I admire you.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
You know, let's just jump right into it.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
The first question to you is what do you think
about Trump ordering the Secretary of War to go ahead
and give strategic strikes against Muslims who are persecuting Christians
in Nigeria. Do you think that's a good a good
move for the United States right now?
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Oh well, yeah, I do believe it's a good move
for the United States. And you know, I'm kind of
like you, right We're both are not for We're not
a these neocons who want war in in, you know,
everywhere across the world, and we're trying to wage war everywhere.
At the same time, the United States of America is
the constitutional republic that's a beacon of freedom of hope
(02:13):
around the world. And when we have other governments that
want to partner with us, right, so this is in
conjunction with the Nigerian government who need help in fighting
really ISIS back terrorist organizations. Right, So there's this ICE
affiliates there in Nigeria. Of course we want to be
a part of that because you know, ISIS is part
(02:34):
of our enemy. I know they've killed friends of yours
and friends of mine. They've killed American men and women
all across the world during the global war on terrort.
So I think it's a good thing, and we're helping
persecute Christians in the process.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I love because you are one of the most devout
Christians I've ever met in my life.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
The way you can just share different.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Versus at well to make your point is one of
the things that I really just think is special about you.
Let's just take this one step farther. What do you
think about the strikes against the Cartels. It's funny, you know,
Mike Lee tried to pass the Cartel Marquee and Reprisal
Authorization Act.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I was joking about it earlier. But in the bigger.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Scheme, do you believe that this is the only way
to really start to get this thing under control, where
we're losing one hundred thousand people to overdoses every year.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
No, So I mean that gets into kind of my second,
you know, career, I guess, other than being a business owner,
in law enforcement. And one of the things that I've
noticed as a law enforcement also whereas I've never brought
anybody back with narcan. I was talking to buddies at
TACK training before Christmas, and every gull on the TACK team,
with exception of me and one other, said they had
(03:52):
brought back people that were exposed to fetanyl with narcan,
that were exposed to it. They weren't smoking it, they
weren't weren't they weren't using it themselves. Now in human trafficking,
I have rescued quite a few victims. I can think
of two ladies in particular that we rescued and got
out of a traff and ring who I set watched
get high smoking fetanyl. I didn't know what they were
(04:14):
smoking at the time, and then we had to you know,
get medically looked at after that because of you know,
how we came in contact with that fetanyl. It is
a dangerous, dangerous thing, and it's taken a lot of
American lives. It's taken a lot of lives here in Alabama,
and so I think it's great that they're taking the
war outside of our borders before it crosses over and
we have to give these criminals the same constitutional uh
(04:37):
consideration that we give American American people, as you know,
as as law enforcement officers. So I think it's great
kill them before they cross our borders and take the
ward of our backyard and impact our kids.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
That now you're talking, that's getting me fired up. All right,
I love your stance on that. The biggest thing is
I think what I really just got fired up. And
I had you on the show when you announced that
you were running for Senate of Alabama US Senate and
you'd run for sheriff a couple of times before. Can
you just talk to the American people about the style
(05:10):
of governments you want to bring to DC, to the
swamp where you know so many people up there have
a completely different idea of what America is and what
it should be, how it should be represented around the world.
How are you going to change the Senate with your
style of leadership and what's that look like?
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Yeah? So in short, you know it's the kings and
queens of this nation.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Are we the people?
Speaker 5 (05:35):
It's outlined of the parable to the Constitution. We the
people are in charge of this nation, and we elect representatives,
in my case senator from the state of Alabama. I
will be elected to go and represent the people that
I'm there to serve. And as a US Senator from Alabama,
I can positively or negatively impact the people in my state,
but also everybody across the nation because I'm one of
(05:56):
one hundred. I think for far too long we've had politicians,
these career politicians that go into office and they're there
to serve themselves as opposed to we the people. And
so that'd be the first thing that I believe we
should take up there, that constitutional responsibility to stand in
the gap for the people that we're elected to serve.
And one of the things I noticed, and I know
(06:17):
you believe this as team guys like I've lost buddies,
I'm bound by the blood of men greater than me
who gave their lives for this nation. I'm bound by
the blood of my Savior, more importantly, who gave his
life for me. In any center that which would be
all of us if we confess with our mouth and
believe in our hearts. So I'm bound by the blood
(06:37):
of men greater than me. I have to at least
at least show them that I'm willing to stand in
the gap for others if they were willing to stand
in the gap for me. So with all of that
being said, I would say that's the first thing. The
second thing, stand with President Trump. I believe that Trump
is fighting for our constitutional republic. I believe that Trump
(06:59):
is fighting for the people that he's elected to represent,
and he needs a good team guy out there with him,
being able to take the fight to the enemy and
stand and support these good constitutional and a lot of
executive orders that he's pushing.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
We got to have.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
We got to be able to.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Codify that because he's going to go away in two
two and a half years when his presidency's over, and
if we don't have good legislators codifying these things that
we need to maintain, then it's like we take five
steps four to ten steps back. The final thing is,
obviously it's important to stand with and for the people
(07:34):
because that's our constitutional republic. But making sure that we
lower costs really getting into the nitty gritty of it,
making sure that we lower the costs, whether it's of healthcare, housing.
The job of the federal government is to protect its people,
develop infrastructure, broadband being part of it, Rose bridges and
now broadband, and then maintain a free and fair market.
(07:55):
If you do those three things, you think people out
of poverty. You can decrease costs, which decrease this is
criminal enterprise, and it elevates the people in the society
that we're elected to serve. So those are the things
I fight for as a US senator.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
God that fires me up, Jared, I can't. I love
when you Every time I listen to you preach the
will and and how true you are to yourself and
what your focus on fires me up. I got one
last request for you. I don't know if you saw,
but jd. Vance was out doing PT out out in
Cornado doing some seal peel little log PT and all that.
(08:28):
Is there a chance that you will become the first
city US senator that gets out there and goes in
PTS with the troops.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Oh dude, one hundred percent. I'll definitely do that, and
I'll take.
Speaker 7 (08:40):
It one step further if they'll let me, whether.
Speaker 5 (08:41):
It's West coast, East coast, or heck even go to
Green Team and call somebody that's a Green Team instructure,
instructure and sit. They'll let me do CQB with the
boys like the old days.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Now we're talking. Now we're talking. That's what senators.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
Go ahead, I said, If they'll let me roll on
a off, I'll roll on off.
Speaker 7 (08:59):
Bro Ha.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
We're gonna have our first US Senator that actually goes
on kinetic missions around the world so he can tell
us the truth. I love it all right, Jared, tell
everybody how they can support you and where they can
follow you for this election cycle.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Absolutely, go to Hudson for Alabama dot com or if
you can't remember Jared Hudson, just look up Navy seal
running for US Senate in Alabama and I'll be that guy.
It'll be about a forty year old dude with hair
and a beard. Is what a lady told me. She said,
you're the first senator I've seen with long hair and
a beard. If you see that guy, then you fail me.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
That's awesome. Well, Jared, thank you so much. Merry Christmas
to you and your beautiful family. I love you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Good luck.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Likewise, Dave, thank you brother.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, all right, there you had it from Jared Hudson,
team guy talking about terrorism, talking about overseas protecting Christians
and what he's going to do for us, and he
has sent it. And on my next segment is a
call in section. All right, this is where I want
you to call in and tell me what kind of
fit or kit you're gonna wear when you are going
on the Marquee, the Marquee and Reprisal Authorization Act where
(10:07):
you're season property from the cartels. What you're gonna kit,
what crew you're gonna go. That call in number for
you to call in to me is one eight hundred
two eight two two eight eight two. That's in my
next section coming up here at two twenty pm East
Coast time. Guest call in one eight hundred two eight
two two eight eight two. I'm your guest host David
(10:31):
Rutherford on The Clay in Buck Show.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Who Yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:37):
Stories are freedom stories of America, inspirational stories that you
unite us all each day, spend time with Clay and
buy find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever
you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Welcome back to the Clay Buck Show.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I'm your host David Rutherford, guest hosting for Clay and
Buck on this twenty sixth December to twenty twenty six
post Christmas entertainment that I hopefully unprovided. We just had
my good friend Jared Hudson on talking about terrorism, talking
about running for Senate, what what America looks like? Uh,
it was really just awesome. So now I want to
(11:15):
turn to one of my favorite aspects is is people
who call in and just tear we So we put
out two questions, uh, for a group of people, and
one was what would you wear and what kind of
crew would you go out there and and do raids?
Pirate raids against the cartels? And the other question was
(11:36):
what would you what act of kindness did you do
or did you witness or did you hear about over
the holidays? So all right, we're going to start with
our first caller, which is Tom from Indiana.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Why don't we bring them on? Tom? You're there? Thanks
so much?
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah? I got you loud and clear, buddy.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Thank you for your nervis brother and I had it
almost If it really helps pay it forward, I'm in
the drive through it McDonald's the other day, feeling good,
feeling generous. So I said, I really like to take
care of the guy behind me. If that works, you know,
that sounds good. So you know, I'm the second window
in the pay window, and I say, okay, so what
are they ordering?
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Well, they've got pete, they've got this, they got the
full McDonald's breakfast, sixty five dollars. They said. You know,
I'm just gonna drive away right now. Almost, brother, Almost,
that was a little chintzy, you know.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
What you know? All right, Tom? That was at least
you're honest with me.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Man. I love the fact that you're honest. Here's what
we can do. Maybe you can go to a coffee
shop and then all you have to do is just
get one coffee for the dude.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
There you go, and then I avoid Starbucks. I'll find
a nice, locally.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Owned one awesome top. Thanks for calling in. I love
it all right? All right, now we got Charles coming on.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Who's gonna talk about going do an ops against the cartels?
Speaker 2 (13:02):
All right? Charles from Wisconsin?
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Yon, buddy, Yeah, I'm right here. I'm still here, all right, Charles,
tell me tell me what what what are you gonna
wear when you're out there doing ops against the cartels,
and what your crew look like? What, what's your what's
your team gonna look like? Who's gonna be comprised of?
Speaker 4 (13:22):
So, yes, that's a good question. I want to tell you.
So my team is gonna be JD Van all right.
We're gonna get Pete. Pete hec's as all right, Secretary
of war, badass, all right, we gotta get him on
the crew. And we're also gonna have Trump because I
was gonna tell I was telling the other guy. I
was just playing to I mean, we need somebody like
Trump who could make a deal right at the end.
You know, if we get cornered by the cartel, he
(13:43):
can make a deal with him and we could get
out and not have to, you know, risk any lives,
you know. So that's very important. And we also want
to get Hulk Hogan to be the guns of the team.
He's gonna be holding the sixteen, the grenade auncher. Very intimidating.
But I think you carry on. I think listen, listen,
I think that airy on top here and it's gonna
be the most intimidating, and it's calling what's gonna scare
(14:05):
the jbs or the Jubbs or whatever they call it,
whatever it is, Yeah, thank you, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I appreciate it. And then so I'm gonna be wearing
an MSG mask with a shinsty over it. Okay, so
unless you understand how scary and you know, traumatized and
that can be for people, I'm gonna put a shinsty
over it and really sell it to them that I'm
not messing around, all right, and I mean business. I'm
gonna have the cape, I'm gonna have every I'm going
(14:33):
to even make my crew dressed up as a Fantastic
for okay, just to throw them off, all right, So
imagine and that's Doom coming up on you with whole
Cogan dressed as the thing.
Speaker 6 (14:43):
All right.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
We're gonna make Trump the invisible woman, why not? Okay,
he deserves that one.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
And then Dance is gonna be the human torch.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
And then Pete Heg says it's gonna be mister Fantastic.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
So you know it's the match made in heaven. And
you know it's also not a restaurant.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Trump and Pete Hekes that having an affair. I'm not
going to say that I'm not going to put that
up there, but yeah, but that's about that's my plan.
That's my plan, and I expressed that to you guys.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Well, Charles, thank you so much for calling in.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
I appreciate it. I love it.
Speaker 6 (15:15):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
He's got the whole crew.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
You know.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Maybe we can throw uh, some of the other DC
or Marvel characters in there. Maybe get Susie Wiles dressed
up like thor Or or you know, Cash Betel dressed
up like the Flash or something like that. I love it, man,
There's nothing better. They just having fun with all this stuff.
I you know, I think the reality is is, uh,
(15:42):
we we have a time and a situation where where
things are gonna ramp up. And so what we need
is we we need some pipe hitters out there to
to to come and volunteer for this uh uh, this
new bill that that Senator Lee's putting in, the Cartel
Marquee and Reprisal Act. This is an old thing back
(16:04):
in the day. If you don't, you're not familiar with
what I'm talking about. Back during the Barbary Wars and
all that time, we used to hire civilians to docate,
go take care bad guys.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
So I'll love that man. Two great callers, a good attempts.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
I think we're going if you're if you're interested in
calling in in the next segment at two thirty five,
call in and tell me what the greatest act of
kindness that you've seen this year or during holidays that
you've either done or someone's done for you.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
I would love to hear you you call in and
take care.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
So I'm your guest host at the Clay and Buck Show,
mister David Rutherford.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Who Yah, welcome back to the Clay and Buck Show.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
I had the guest host for this incredible day twenty
sixth December twenty twenty six mister David run Rutherford, and
we have been doing calling segment.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
It's the last one. And the two questions that we
had people.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Call in is if the Marquee and Reprisal Authorization Act
goes in, what are you gonna wear when you go
take down cartels and who you bring in? And then
the other is what act of kindness have you seen
or done from someone else? So we're gonna get this
section started out with Dan from Kentucky. Dan, are you there, buddy?
Speaker 2 (17:22):
What'd you do? What act of kindness? Did you see
or do.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
Well? The other day, I was in line at a
coffee shop and there was a nice lady in front
of me with a baby, and at one point she
leaned over to get something out of a dapper back,
and when she did, she kind of let some real
loud gas out, and everybody turned around to look at her,
and she was embarrassed. I just threw my hand up
(17:49):
and I said, I'm sorry people, that was me, and
I put a bullet.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
For Oh my god, did God bless you for doing that,
because I'll tell you what, when your arms are full
with new newborns and mothers and they got all that stuff,
they got it toe to cover for her flatulence.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Man, that is one of the top acts of kindness
I've heard in a long time. God bless you, brother.
All right, next car, we're gonna well, yeah, thank you brother.
We're gonna welcome Tim On.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
And Tim's got an idea for a great crew to
start going to take down the cartel.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
So Tim from Florida, go ahead, brother, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
My idea is to get Elon Musk and all those
top dukes together would make little tiny flying drones. He
actually talked about this. We load them up with neurotoxins.
You know that stuff where a little tiny squid can
kill thirty people. Oh yeah, they just poked around the
place in Tampa Mall and they don't even know it.
Next to you know, they're all dropping like flies.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Okay, okay, So we're gonna hire Elon Musk, who, by
the way, has probably the greatest technology firms developing in
the planet, and then all the nerds that work for
him are gonna just go on this massive drone warfare
campaign against cartels all over world. I like where your
head's at with that, Tim, I think that's a great idea.
(19:07):
You know, the problem is is how are you going
to begin to identify witch drones or what and who's
in the you know, the fracture side of all the
other people around And that gets a little hard.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
But I like where your head's at. It's good.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
All right, Let's go to the next caller who's been
waiting a little bit. We got Scott from LA. This
ought to be good, all right, Scott from LA. What's
your team of the Marquee and Reprisal Authorization at KRU Gonna.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Look like.
Speaker 9 (19:36):
Well, rook, Actually it's South Louisiana. I'm sorry, yeah, yeah,
but naval Rescue eric crewman. I was Warren and you
know how, you know, seals taught me. I was supposed
to be in Class one thirty four but got mcarick
and then became a Naval Airic crewman. And I'm telling
(19:58):
you that with the right of qu you know, we
could do some damage too, other than just fishing people
out of the drink, you know.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
All right, Scott from Louisiana, I like where your head's at.
I think that's a good idea. We just call everybody
back in right that wants to come and participate, and we,
you know, with same command structures, same rank structures, same
although I'd like to move up to master chief, but
that'll never have. I'm a permanent fixture in the E
five Bafia. But like that, I think that would be
(20:30):
a good idea. We could just just have this shadow
navy or this shadow army out there that goes out
there and does it.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
I love that, all right.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Last one we're gonna do is, uh, we've got Carrie
from Kentucky. Carry are you on the line? What act
of kindness are you gonna tell us about?
Speaker 10 (20:49):
I am from a small town in Kentucky, and yesterday
I haven't decided we needed to do takeout on Christmas Day,
knowing it wouldn't be anything much open, and so we
did find one fast food restaurant.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
I sat in the drive through.
Speaker 10 (21:04):
For over an hour just to order. But you know,
once you're locked in, you're locked in. When I got
to the window, I asked how many workers were there,
and she said too and apologized, and I said, no, no, no,
please hear me out. I reached over as I was
talking to her, reached over and grabbed my wallet and looked,
and I had forty five dollars, and I said, look,
you guys are working. It's Christmas Day, you are working.
(21:27):
I am not, so I handed her two twenties and
just said, I hope you too have a very merry Christmas.
She just stood there for a second and looked at me,
and then she turned around headed for the back. And
he held the name of the cook, the one cook
who was there, and headed back to share it with him.
So not a big thing, not elaborate, but just I thought.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Of Harry, kindness, that's that.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Just amen to you and your husband and your graciousness.
It's those little acts like that that mean all the
difference in the world, just one little thing, maybe every
day or every other day, or one once a month
or whatever it is. But man, I just thank you
for sharing that with us. It's just a wonderful story.
All right, we've got well, time for one more.
Speaker 7 (22:07):
Here.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
We're gonna bring Wendy on from Utah. Wendy, I understand
that you've been helping some Afghan vets. Tell us about
what you got going on.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Please are you there? I'm here, Wendy, go for it.
Speaker 10 (22:25):
I'm sorry, I can't hear it.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Hang on this one second.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Okay, you got me?
Speaker 9 (22:30):
Now?
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Now?
Speaker 6 (22:35):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, Wendy, can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Hello?
Speaker 10 (22:40):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
I can hear you? Can you hear me? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
All right, all right, Wendy. Uh we're gonna have to
let you go. Sorry about that. That's all good.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Well, Wendy said, she helps some Afghan vets out and
that would have been a cool story, but a little
technical difficulty as it happens on live radio.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
But it is what it is. The whole point I'm
trying to about this, This whole thing is little.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Acts of kindness, does not take anything really, I mean,
it's it's one of those things that we can do
any day, every day, all day. I've got this wonderful friend.
His name is Chris Smith. He's a legend in the
Sealed Teams. He's a legend and another covert unit out there.
He lives up in DC's got great CrossFit gym up there.
(23:29):
You can find him online under the Trident mindset, great
great courses there.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
But Chris every.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Day, his whole thing is I'm gonna try and make
seven people smile a day. And when you start to
think about what that does, man, in particular, if you're struggling, right,
if you're going through if you're going through a tough
time where you know you're you're down in the dumps,
maybe you're going through divorce, Maybe you're battling addiction or alcoholism,
(23:58):
maybe you got fired recently, maybe you can't afford a
home or can't you don't have a good job, or
maybe you're kind of struggling with your own mental health issues. Man,
how good does it feel when someone comes up and
just you know, says hey, let me buy a cup
of coffee, or hey, you know, secretly gives you a
(24:18):
twenty dollars bill, or does something nice, or carry something
out to your car for you, or you know, one
of your neighbors, maybe you go out there and you
help one of your neighbors take their garbage in from
off the side man. You know, all of these things
are just simple acts of kindness that we can do
for each other, you know, And that's an important aspect
(24:40):
of not only the Christmas spirit and the Holiday spirit,
but the spirit of Christ and the spirit of great
faith and humanity to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
And it's a very important component of our lives that
we do this for each other. You know, we are
trapped and seemingly an unending space of of of tit
(25:03):
for tat in this world and calling people out and
hammering people, and.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
You know, divisions all over.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
There's divisions in the Democratic Party, there's divisions in the
Republican Party. There's divisions politically, divisions religiously, there's divisions idealistically.
There's divisions over stupid stuff, you know, and some people
say that's stupid too. But but the thing is, what
brings us back to what you know, Christ is all about,
is that willingness to sacrifice something for another person, whether
(25:33):
it's the basic idea of a hug and telling someone
you love them, there's nothing better than you know. I
got a I don't even know thirty texts yesterday from
my closest friends telling me, Hey, rut, Merry Christmas, love
you buddy, Hope your family's good.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
I sent them out to you know.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Those things are so meaningful for us, They really are,
And you have to have to let that settle in,
and you have have to feel those things. You can't
just be constantly caught up in all the other distractions,
the rigors of life. Man, I watch my beautiful, amazing wife,
take care of for kids, take care of me, help
(26:12):
me run my businesses. You know, I work for an
asset management company, starting a supplement company.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
And I've got I've got a podcast.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
We've got a nonprofit called the Operator Syndrome Foundation, where
we're trying to help develop programs to support operators who
suffer from operator syndrome. You can check that out at
Operators Syndrome Foundation dot org. And really trying to bring forth,
you know, bringing positivity to life itself.
Speaker 10 (26:42):
You know.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Sometimes, yeah, some of the content I talk about, but
at the at the core of what I believe is
that motivation is the thing that ultimately lifts us out
of the hole, right whatever that hole may be. And
we all suffer from falling into that, those those holes
in our life. It's inevitable. Whether it's through our health
or through friendships or relationship challenges or rejections or whatever
(27:06):
it might be, we all struggle. And so those little
little random acts of kindness, man, they have such a
huge role in people's lives. You know, I do it
all the time. I, you know, will be walking around
in different cities that I'm hanging out in and you know,
(27:27):
try and give you know, homeless people on the street money.
I'll try and buy someone a cup of coffee. I'll
say hello to somebody, I'll try and chat with somebody,
just to bring a little levity to this existence that
we all are engaged in. And that again is what
Christmas is all about, is to bring support to one another,
(27:47):
to lift each other up, and in all times, really
to live a christ like life right now. You know,
I know it's impossibles. We all suffer from sin itself.
But if you, if you can always overcome that sin
through redemption by by living a good life, by trying
to help others, by trying to live you know, that
(28:10):
life that Christ wants you to live. And I just
think that's such a valuable uh way that we can
all do this. And even if you're not deeply religious
or devout in any way, you still can be nice
to one another. It doesn't as I said, it doesn't
cost anything. You don't have to download it, you don't
have to rent it. It's free every single day. And
(28:32):
I just can't can't you know voice how much I
believe in that. And if you want to know more
about how I do that for people, uh, just visit
uh my website at David Rutherford dot com or go
follow my show, The David Rutherford Show on all podcasts networks.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
You can watch video on YouTube. We always we also.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Post uh the show on x as well too, and
we just you know, whether it's the motivational content or
training that I offer online training or my speeches, whatever,
it is, My mission in life now is to live
a christ Like life and to really try and lift
others up.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
And you know, as my beautiful.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
Daughters will tell you, sometimes, you know, I struggle myself.
We all struggle but over the holidays, man, you know
we've got some time left today.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Get out there and just, you know, give someone some kindness.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
I'm telling you when I tell you, I've seen it
work not only thousands, but tens of thousands of times
and stories and actions all around the world.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Just it really will lift somebody up and fulfill that
Christmas spirit again. I'm so honored and blessed to be
