Final hour of the program.

we have been discussing in the first two hours of

(00:27):
around the world. Listen at either live or at your convenience.
Last night, Brock and Michelle Obama speak at the DNCEE.
Tonight is Tim Walls. Tomorrow will be Kamala Harris. We've
talked about what's going on at the DNC, the burning
of the American flag. Riley Gaines pointed out the only

(00:47):
American flag she's seen at the Democrat National Convention was
the one that was being burned outside by pro hamas
anti Israel activist. That certainly has been a part of
the story, as has the massive display of security which
has tried to keep things from spiraling out of control

(01:08):
in Chicago. We mentioned earlier but I do think it's
worth hitting. Eight hundred and eighteen thousand jobs have been
removed from the roles according to the Bureau of Labor
and Statistics, and that now means that the number of
jobs that have been created in the past year is
even lower. Trump laid in massive scandal. The Harris Biden

(01:30):
administration has been caught fraudulently manipulating job statistics to hide
the true extent of the economic ruin they've inflicted on America.
New data shows again that eight hundred and eighteen thousand
jobs did not exist, never did the real numbers much worse.
And if Comrade Kamali gets another four years, millions of

(01:51):
more jobs will vanish overnight and inflation will continue to
destroy our country. With a Trump victory, we will once
again have the greatest economy in history. That is from Trump.
About an hour or so ago, Buck, you and I
have talked about it. In fact, we talked about it,
I think on yesterday's show or the day before that

(02:12):
this revision was coming. But when you actually look at
the economic situation that Kamala Harris is trying to argue,
she should be promoted for helping to have caused this
is the worst economic record of any president, certainly going
back to I think it's fair to say Jimmy Carter,

(02:33):
and Carter was trounced in nineteen eighty by Reagan. This
is why they don't really want to talk about the economy.
And we talked about it earlier. And I do think
it's important capital gains tax rate increase. Kamala Harris has
planned to roughly forty five percent. They want to and
this means a lot if you are involved in investing
at all, as most people out there listening are. They

(02:54):
want to tax your unrealized capital gains. They want to
try to impose price controls. Kamala's overall poll numbers and
gambling odds have begun to collapse the moment she actually
started talking about her economic plans, and that, to me
is the essence of this race. She doesn't understand economics,

(03:15):
She's awful on it. She's never made payroll. I wish,
you know, if I could wave a magic wand I
would like every president for the rest of my life
to have ever had to have had to make a
payroll at least once. I think is useful to everybody
who has a small business out there, and I've had
one when you're sitting there and you realize that you've
got to pay your employees their mortgages, rely on you,

(03:35):
their kids getting the employees' kids getting fed. It's a
level of stress on your shoulders that ninety five percent
of people never feel. But it's real. There's a major
risk associated with it. Walls Kamala. Most Democrats, they've never
ever understood what it is to create a business or
have to pay somebody out of the proceeds of a business.

(03:55):
If you haven't done that, to me, you're not qualified,
frankly to be president of the United States.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You know.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
I've been thinking, Clay that the Kamala collapse, as it were,
and I understand that's going to be only if it
happens a few percentage points of the electorate. But that's
all that it takes for her to get swept in
the in the toss up states. Right, we know, there's
there's no winning California for US or New York or whatever.

(04:21):
That's all that's that's totally off the table. But the
Kamala collapse, I have assumed would be uh triggered by
greater familiarity with Kamala Harris. Essentially, people will get to
know more about who this sudden candidate handpicked by the
Democrat apparatus. Remember, it's not It's not like if Joe

(04:41):
Biden had stepped down, Kamala Harris's ascension would be the
system that we have. That's not what happened. Okay, Joe
Biden is still technically the president. Kamala Harris was just picked.
They just decided, oh, you know, she's the one who
is going to lead us into the future. They want
to have it. But ways, you know what I mean,
There should there should be a primary. There should have

(05:03):
been the Democrats voicing who they want this to be.
But put this aside for a second. I think as
they get more familiar with Kamala that will hurt her.
But there's another point here too, which goes to what
you're talking about, which is the policies. Increasingly, I think
there will be a rejection of the overall Democrats strategy here,
which is just throw a lot of nonsense out there,

(05:26):
a lot of happy joy, you know whatever stuff. It's
vote for us and we'll tell you what we're gonna
do after the election. Yes, especially with Kamala Harris, but
really with the Democrats too, What is the agenda right
now if you listen to the DNC as we have
been doing, because we love you all and we want
to do the work that we have to do, even
if it is brutal for us.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
When you watch these DNC speeches, it's.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Just you know, middle class, good jobs, the future, bright happy,
you know, chocolate milkshakes for everybody, you know, cookies for everyone,
like whatever.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
There's no real throw like there's no.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Talk about healthcare, there's no talk about the border, there's
no talk about national security in any meaningful sense. And
the whole thing is just turned into vote for us,
and we'll tell you what we're gonna do later. And
I think people are seeing that, and that's a problem.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
News buck, And that's one hundred percent rate. Robert F.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Kennedy Junior just put out a statement. Independent presidential candidate
Robert F. Kennedy Junior will address the nation live on
Friday about the present historical moment and his path forward.
The odds market now has it at ninety five percent
that he is going to drop out.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
He is dropping out.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I mean that, you tell me if you're gonna have
a announcement on Friday. Typically you don't announce something that
you're already doing.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
So ask you though, what this is the open question
right now? So that's the big breaking news. Clay just
got it out there for you. All that RFK Junior
is putting out a big announcement Friday. Is that what
says Friday.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Friday Live will be live on the air. Let me
get the time right? Well, I don't see the time,
but it is going to be a Friday Friday. He's announcing, yes,
and we promise you we'll be live Friday. And if
he announces during the show, we'll play it for you
so you'll hear it as it goes play. I think
it's clear he's not going to He's not going to
stay as a candidate in the race.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Whether he stays on the ticket, that's a whole different thing.
How confident are you that he's going to endorse versus
just step aside and sort of take his take his
ball and go home with it, so to speak?

Speaker 2 (07:35):
What do you think?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
I don't see any move where he wouldn't be endorsing Trump.
I just saying hey, I'm going to withdraw from the
race doesn't feel like and not endorse anybody. It feels like,
what's the point of his entire campaign? And you said,
and look, everybody who runs for president is motivated to

(07:57):
some degree by ego.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Right.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
You don't suddenly say, hey, I think I'd be better
at this job than the other three hundred and thirty
million Americans. Right, There's nobody who runs for president has
a small about of ego. But I do think a
lot of people are motivated by wanting to have the
issues that they care about addressed.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
If Robert F.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Kenadian Junior drops out and says, hey, I'm just not
going to endorse anybody, how does that further his potential
issues that he cares about, whether it's the COVID shot,
whether it is you know, the safety and security of
vaccines overall, I think it has to be. And I
can't imagine that Kamala Harris and the Democrats would be willing.

(08:43):
And by the way, if you're him, why would you
be willing to go back to the Democrats after they
refuse to allow you to compete against Joe Biden. They
basically forced you to run as an independent in the
first place. So I think the only thing that makes
sense is that he is going to endorse Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Now, look, he's.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Also maybe I can't imagine that he would have a
big statement on Friday and just come out and say
I'm staying in the race. Like it's very strange. So
it feels to me like it has to be the
end of the campaign. Again, based on what Nicole Shanahan
said yesterday that we all that we all discussed.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Uh, you know here here's the thing. Yeah, now this
is let me just give you a little bit of
I think that what you're saying it all lines up.
Is RFK Junior ready and what this will mean for
the Kennedy legacy, the Kennedy brand. Is he ready to
possibly help deliver a victory to Donald Trump? It's one

(09:47):
thing for him to do it, you know, given the
heat of the election. I mean, I can understand the thinking.
But let's say if he does it and Kamala wins anyway, No,
I don't think anybody really remembers it kind of becomes
a footnote if he does it and Trump wins, whether
he was the determining factor or not. And how could
we even know that you will have had a Kennedy

(10:07):
deliver presidential victory to Donald Trump?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
You think he's ready. You think he's ready for that.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
I mean, you think he's willing to do that as
part of his legacy and brand.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
That's the only that's the only consideration that I have
where I go. Really, he's going to do it. He's
going to have a great question. It's a great question.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
By the way, details Friday, two pm Eastern eleven am
Pacific in Phoenix, Arizona. Is are the details Kennedy addressing
the nation on Friday afternoon. That's posted on now the
official Robert F. Kennedy Junior website. So that's just breaking
right now. There have been to be fair questions about

(10:47):
whether or not he's going to be eligible to be
on the ballot in Arizona. Again, maybe it's not that
he's dropping out of the race or endorsing anyone. Maybe
they're just playing into this, But the gambling markets having
it at ninety five percent that he's going to drop out,
they've tended to be pretty right. Again, the question is
whether he's going to be on the ballot in Arizona.

(11:08):
So he could announce that he's filing a huge lawsuit
against Arizona or something, and he's staying in the race.
Just FYI, but we will know officially two pm Eastern
on Friday if he drops out. If he drops out
and endorses Trump, I think it's a big win. Now
to your point, Buck, is he willing to truly turn

(11:33):
the back on the Kennedy legacy historically in the Democrat Party?
That's the question.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
It's a big mixic he endorses Trump, it's a big
move I think, not just for the race, but that's
a that it's almost like a red pilling of the
of the Kennedy dynasty. Think about that, or at least
one member of it, but the most who's a more
visible Kennedy right now?

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Nobody there is?

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Well Caroline Kennedy maybe because she's still alive, but you know,
she's a daughter of r.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Is she like supposed to be the ambassador or whatever? Yeah,
but I mean I think people wouldn't but yes to
fancy lunches with a fancy last name.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
In terms of politically influential, there's no doubt that it
is RFK Junior. We'll talk about this, by the way,
and again I would just toss it out there if
you are listening to us and you were planning on
voting for our FK Junior, and I bet there are
a lot of you out there actually, based on the
statistics the numbers, that wouldn't be crazy. What would you
do if our FK junior drops out and endorses Trump?

(12:32):
Would it change your vote? Or are you so committed
to not voting for Trump and or Kamala that you
would just vote a different third party? Do you go Libertarian?
Green Party? Carnel West. I'm actually curious from the audience
out there that is that is breaking all this down.
We'll talk about it in the meantime. Testosteroon. Maybe you

(12:54):
feel a little bit weak. Maybe it's Wednesday and you're
thinking to yourself, it's only Wednesday. I know it's hump day.
Maybe you're sitting around your thinking, there's no way I'm
gonna make it to Thursday or Friday. I gotta go
watch my eighth grader's football game this afternoon. That's what
I'm already thinking about. That's what I'm excited about. I'm
glad that I still have the energy that I do.

(13:16):
But I bet a lot of you sitting around on
Wednesday are already worried about what obligations you have on
Friday or Saturday. I think there's probably the need for
testosterone out there. And if that's you, if you would
like to be able to have a little bit more vim, vigor, vitality,

Speaker 2 (15:14):
All right, welcome back into Clay and Buck. We have
that big, big breaking news play hit us with just
a few.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Minutes ago that there is a RFA junior presidential announcement
coming up on Friday or campaign presidential campaign announcement.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
So we will no.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
More and I don't pretend that I know what's gonna
happen here. To me, it could go either way. I'm
just I'm just laying out there that if RFK endorses Trump,
it would be the most prominent Kennedy which was really
the biggest brand in Democrat politics until the Obamas came along.

(15:51):
I think maybe you could argue for a little while
the Clintons, but in totality, you know, the moment the
Clintons were no longer in office, the Kennedy's are still
a bigger name. It would be a big move if
RFK Junior endorsed Donald Trump. Will he I'm not convinced,
but we shall see. We have a lot of callers
about it. Katie and Anchorage, Alaska. I love we have

(16:13):
people in Anchorage listening. What's going on?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Katie.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
Hey, how you guys doing today?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Hey We're good?

Speaker 6 (16:21):
All right? Uh yeah, calling in on the RFK voter thing. Well,
get ready to have your mind blown. First time caller,
ex Women's marcher, you have no idea how many Democrats
have left the left And I'm in.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
A lot, Katie.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Did you just start listening to the show because Clay
said that he could bench press one hundred and eighty
ten times, so you could tell us.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
If that's if that got you, that brought her in.
She was not sure before. I love it.

Speaker 6 (16:50):
I love it. Uh Yeah. So COVID woke a lot
of people up to the propaganda and it we're not
in small numbers. I'm telling you, like you don't understand
the behind the scenes, The silent majority is probably much
larger than it's ever been because a lot of disenfranchised

(17:11):
former Democrats, women's marchers who saw behind the curtain during COVID,
and RFK was really instrumental in waking a lot of
people up from that plumber. A lot of us were
medical freedom people. I've been a supporter of Children's Health
Defense his organization since two thousand and nine, and a
lot of us are against big chemical, big corporation. And

(17:33):
we see what ELECS did with partnering with pharma and
getting quite tyrannical during COVID, and that that woke a
lot of us up, okay to kind of propaganda and
how the media absolutely has a bias that we quite
possibly didn't think was here in our own country before.
And I always say it made us start listening to

(17:53):
quote unquote forbidden voices, the rut Limba crowd, the Tucker
Carlson crowd, you guys.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
So much, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Sorry to cut her off, but because we're going to
break here, Buck a little bit of breaking news. UH
Trump has a rally in Arizona same day RFK Junior's announcement.
We'll talk about that a bit more when we come back,
But I want to tell all you about pure Talk.
I use pure talk right now for my family to
keep in touch with them. My sixteen year old has

(18:24):
a pure talk phone. My soon to be fourteen year
old is going to have a pure talk phone. He
is so fired up about getting his first cell phone.
We make them wait until the age of fourteen. But
I'm using pure Talk to make sure that our family
is able to get in touch with each other, and
they have got the best possible deal out there. You

(18:44):
can get hooked up as well, save a bundle sometimes
up to one thousand dollars a year by going to
UH by dialing pound two point fifty saying Clay and Buck.
That's pound two five zero say Clay and Buck come
back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton show. All right, let
me hit you with some news again, RFK Junior Friday

(19:07):
says he's going to have a rally in Phoenix. As
we just went to break, I said, oh, that's interesting. Coincidentally,
Trump also has a rally scheduled on Friday in Phoenix.
Gambling markets ninety five percent chance he drops out before November.
That's basically done. It appears here's something interesting, buck eighty

(19:27):
three percent chance that he's going to endorse Trump. Now
this again, that's poly market. People say, why do you
look at the I want to know where the money's going.
I want to know where people. It's easy to run
your mouth like lots of people Morning Joe the View,
lots of people say stupid things on television. I'm not
as interested in what people argue. I'm interested in what

(19:49):
people do, not the running of the mouth, the putting
down of money. This is to me a very strong
indication that RFK Junior is going to alter the trajectory
of the race. This would also buck timing wise, think
about this. Kamala speaks probably late based on how late

(20:11):
all these DNC events are going, probably late on Thursday
night to officially accept a nomination, and the next morning
the story would immediately shift to DNC's over RFK Junior
is going to endorse Trump. Whatever lasting impact from Kamala's

(20:32):
address there is would immediately be drowned out. Even in
the left wing media, they would have to cover RFK
Junior making the decision to endorse Trump because it's far
more significant than whatever Kamala might say on Thursday night.
So I just point out the timing of this. In
a battleground state like Arizona, where RFK Junior had been

(20:54):
fighting for ballot access, he could announce, Hey, We're not
even going to try to get on an Arizona anymore.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
I'm all in on the Trump train. I'm going to
join his team.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
And I think it could have a really seismic impact.
When you talk about and we talk about it's probably
only one hundred thousand voters out there that might have
really the fate of the presidency in their hands. This
could go a long way, I think, towards making Trump
even more of a favorite than he is as we
sit here talking right now.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Look where we know that the election is going to
be determined by a very small number of votes in
the grand scheme of things, and RFK Junior, depending on
the polls you're looking at. I mean, he commands you know,
I don't know what do you think His share of
the total electorate is right now.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Five or six percent, depending on the states, some a
little bit more, some a little bit less.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
But that's been delivering the race. If he can deliver.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
You know, two or three percent of the electorate for
Donald Trump, I think that could be that could be
a huge You know, you can't ever run the experiment again,
so you won't be able to necessarily know what's definitive.
But it's this is the kind of stuff that I
think should have Democrats very worried.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
And it is really the.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
The change up going into the third act, if you
will that that makes sense given what we've already seen
of the the indictments against Trump, the Supreme Court stepping in,
the Biden disaster debate, Kamala being appointed and anointed, and
now perhaps our FK Junior going for Trump.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Like what a wild election cycle we are in if
that ends up happening.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
And I would have to give r FFKG Junior a
lot of credit for seeing what the two sides are.
And you know, you see people like Elon Musklay Elon
Musk He's not like, oh, I'm a Republican. He's just like, look,
you've got to vote for Trump because these other people
are insane. Yes, it's not that he's dogmatically right wing
at all. He just recognizes that the left is constantly

(22:58):
lying about everything that it's doing, and their socialists and
what they're doing is destructive to Western civilization, and so
he's just like, you gotta go Trump. In this case,
RFK Junior is sort of if he endorses, he's kind
of in the elon ranks as well.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
What have you got?

Speaker 1 (23:14):
No, I was just gonna say. I also think this
is corresponding with Trump feels like he's starting to get
his sea legs on this campaign. You know, you had
the rapid shift where you had, Oh Trump's been throwing
punches at Joe Biden for a long time. He's the
combatant that he knew well. He knocks him out on
June twenty seventh at the debate, Suddenly they shift Kamala

(23:36):
is in and there was a moment there for a
couple of weeks. I think it's fair to say where
Trump really didn't have his his his A game going.
He wasn't attacking Kamala in a way that was smart.
He wasn't putting his best foot forward. I just want
to hit you with a couple of things that just
happened in the last twenty four hours that I think
are emblematic of Trump starting to hit things on a

(23:59):
really great job. Did you see Trump yesterday in Michigan?
He was asked by one of the members of the media.
And I'm trying to find this exact number because I
want to make sure that I call it out right
for our crew, But he was asked about appearing in
a town that was supposedly filled with white supremacists. Did

(24:19):
you hear this yet? This is the media member. I
bet our audience most of them have not heard it.
This is cut nineteen. Listen to Trump yesterday. To me,
this is starting to get his sea legs firing on
all cylinders. Trump, listen to this.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Who was here in twenty twenty one?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Thank you? Thank you? All right?

Speaker 1 (24:46):
So if you could, if you couldn't hear that perfectly?
And I know the media question was Kamala Harris's campaign
is attacking you for appearing in this town. I think
it was Holland, Michigan that supposedly is filled with white supremacists.
Trump walks up to the mic. You are a little
bit of booing for that question, says who was here
in twenty twenty one? She said Biden. He laughs and

(25:06):
he walks away from the mic. That thing has gone
megaviral on social media. Perfect response. I like this too,
Trump from Trump Buck very different. But he did a
sit down with a guy named Theo Vaughn. Theovon has
a very popular podcast, and he talked Trump did about

(25:26):
his brother Fred, the fact that he was addicted to alcohol. Uh,
and Theovan has had struggles with drugs and alcohol himself.
But I actually thought this was a very personal version
of Trump, and I asked the team to just pull
about forty five seconds of this. Now, this is probably
not something that most of our audience is listening to, Buck,

(25:46):
but your kids or your grandkids might hear this version
of Trump on the Theo von Show.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Listen. You don't drink, and you don't drink or smoke?

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Right, I don't drink or smoke. You never have no,
I never have a U. I had a great brother
who taught me a lesson, don't drink. Don't drink, and
he said, don't smoke. He smoked and he drank and
he was great guy. He was a handsome, very handsome guy.
He is the older, but he was older, quite a
bit older. Yeah, and he would he had a problem

(26:16):
with alcohol and smoke a lot. But can I tell
people no drugs, no drinking, no cigarettes.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah. Did you admire him? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (26:24):
I admired a lot. So much about him. He had
so much going I had to look. He was an
unbelievable personality, like an incredible personality.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
What was his name on him?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
His name was Fred Fred Trump.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Okay, So this conversation, I don't know if you watched it, Buck,
I actually went and watched. It's about addiction and the
dangers and the fact that Trump said himself that he
always feared that if he ever had a sip of alcohol,
that he potentially had a gene that would make him
susceptible to alcohol. And so he chose, based on what
he saw from his brother Fred in his life, to

(27:00):
never have a sip of alcohol in his life. He says,
never had a sip of alcohol in his entire life.
And I just thought it was And he talked about
Fred and how difficult it was to watch him grapple
with that addiction. Trump is talking to everyone. Our friend
Jessic Kelly pointed this out. It's really power.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Other though, I mean, it took the life of his brother, Yes,
that addiction. So it's a very painful lesson that Donald
Trump learned. But I do think it is it's powerful
for people to hear because so much of Trump is
the success and you know, the braggadocio and the the swagger,
and you know, the glitz, the glamour, all of that.

(27:41):
But this is a guy, well now he's a guy
who's been shot for his country, So start with that.
I mean most recently, which that you'll notice just like,
no talk about that.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yes, they haven't mentioned it at the DNC once, not
one time, not one time.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
They're like, you know, what happened to Donald Trump was terrible,
and you know we decry political violence. No, no, no,
they don't want to mention that Trump took a bullet
for his country. But that is a fact, no matter
what they try to say about it. And Trump is
also a guy who has had to overcome some big
personal challenges just like me. Look, everyone is fighting a
hard battle. I mean, I'm not trying to suggest that

(28:15):
he has had a uniquely difficult life. He's been very
blessed and very fortunate in so many ways as well,
starting at a very young age. But when you hear
you know, sometimes wisdom is acquired at a very painful cost.
And when you hear Trump showing that he has acquired
life wisdom through paying the way so many of us have,

(28:37):
I think that that is a reminder of the depth
and the sort of scope of his understanding of life
at this point in his life, right. I mean, he's
somebody who has been through a lot and shown a
lot of grit and determination on personal and professional levels.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
So I agree with you that usually.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
We see him being funny and being Trump and everything else,
but seeing him express a vulnerability is rare, and I
think it's meaningful to a lot of people who heard.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
It, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
And also I think it goes to the essence of
the lie that Democrats are selling, which is that Trump
is somehow hitler. Now you and I have met Trump
enough face to face that the idea that he is
hilarian is absurd beyond belief. But a lot of people
have not gotten the opportunity that we have to meet him.
And so when he's addressing that. Do you think Hitler

(29:30):
set around a lot of time and talked about his
personal weakness or the fact that someone in his family
had an alcohol addiction and he worried that he had
the same gene to such an extent that he would
never touch alcohol himself, and that he totally talked about
with his kids no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes, that
he would hammer that home to them all the time
because he also was worried that they might have the
same gene.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Right.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Does that sound like something that an awful venal person
would spend time talking about? And I always think this
is the most underrated part of Trump. Granddaughter Kay Trump,
who spoke at the RNC, just accepted a golf scholarship
to the University of Miami. Congratulations to her, I think,
the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Junior. But buck she

(30:12):
walked in when we were interviewing Trump at Bedminster. Trump
Grandpa Trump wanted her to get on the golf cart
with him and go play and wanted to know if
she had her golf clubs with her and wanted to
brag to us about what a great golfer she was.
This a couple of years ago, for somebody who's supposedly
an awful human being. Trump sure does have a good
relationship with all of his kids and all of his grandkids.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Doesn't he the.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Money turned their back on him. I'm not saying he's perfect,
none of us are. But do you ever hear the
media talk about the fact that all of his kids
are successful and seem to have decent family lives themselves,
and have raised successful grandkids that all seem to adore him.
I don't think that Adolph Hitler was particularly beloved, But anyway,

(30:55):
the argument that is out there is just such a
transcendent lie. I think some of these interviews he's doing
are puncturing that even for people who might have bought.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Into that argument.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
I mean not ninety five percent of the people on
TV at least who go with the Trump as Hitler stuff,
absolutely do not believe that. But they just use that
as a as a weapon against Trump to whip up
stupid people into a frenzy who are watching them. I mean,
that's all that is. It's just a tool. It's a weapon.

(31:25):
They don't really believe that. In fact, some of them
have hung out with Trump and liked him. I'm talking
about warning Joe Morning. Joe and Trump used to be buddies, right,
You were buddies with Hitler for years, and then suddenly
you found out he was Hitler.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
In your break or to your point, Buck, if you
really thought Trump was Hitler, you should have been cheering
the assassination attempt, because if Hitler got assassinated, it would
have actually been a great thing for the nation. And
instead they all said, oh, this is for at least
a day or two. Oh this is horrible. We can't
stand for it. Now they just pretend it didn't happen.
But I do think it's important to puncture the biggest lies,
and I would argue Trump as a unique fascist threat

(31:56):
to America. The modern day version of Hitler is the
most of all of the lies ignoble that was told
about him, and I think he's actually puncturing that argument
by some of the interviews he's doing to get him
in front of an audience that might not have seen
that side of him before.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
I totally agree.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
We'll take some calls and VP emails to close us
out here momentarily. Look, instability is not a good thing,
but it's a constant these days. Crazy things are happening
stock markets can get shaky, consumer confidence falls, militaries get mobilized.
I mean, look at Ukraine, look at what's going on
in the Middle East. But there is stability in this storm,

(32:35):
something that seems to contend to gain value as a
lot of areas of the economy get rocky. Precious metals
like gold and silver. Look at the price of gold
this year. Just look at it yourself and you'll see, Wow,
gold is had quite a run. Owning gold and silver
is an excellent way to diversify your savings and protect
your hard earned dollars. It's easier than ever to purchase

(32:56):
physical gold for you, and likewise, it's just is easy
to purchase gold and put it in your four oh
one k or tax sheltered IRA. More Americans now than
ever own gold and silver. For those who purchased precious
metals over last year, they've done well and supicily. It'
suffice it to say gold is in demand and the
price reflects that value. Our friends at Birch Gold Group

Closing up shop today on clay An Buck, we had
some big break in news this hour about RFK Junior
making a big presidential announcement on Friday.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
So we will discuss that as it happens.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Will what time is it claim it is happening scheduled
at two o'clock Eastern I believe, so we may be
able to bring them to you live on Friday.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
I mean, if it happens when they say it's happening,
we'll be live and we'll talk to you about it.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
So that's coming up. Clayton.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
Hey, we're talking just a moment ago as we're getting
ready for this final segment about how I mean.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
I'll just put this out there.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
If RFK Junior, as a Kennedy and as somebody who
has built up a you know, a public profile now
for many many years, if he throws his weight behind
Donald Trump in this election at a critical moment. The
Democrats will never forgive him. They will, I mean, there
will be a viciousness and a spite in their approach

(34:47):
to our FK. Junior for the rest of his days.
So it's not a small thing for him to throw
it behind.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Now.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
If Trump wins and he you know, there's obviously a
gamble here, right If Trump wins that he throws his
weight behind to him, he's adding a whole new chapter
to his legacy and what he might be able to accomplish.
And I see all of that as well. But it's
a real gamble. If he just steps down, he can
just say, you know, I ran a good race. I
wish these guys the best, and you know, see you later. Everyone.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
It's looking like that's not going to be what he does, though.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
I don't want to get ahead of myself, but it
you know, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
The funniest thing about this to me is going to be.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
The same people who have been fighting on the Democrat
side as hard as they possibly can to keep him
from getting on the ballot, are now going to fight
to keep him on the ballot. For people out there,
they are going to if he endorses Trump, they are
going to do whatever they can to try to keep
his name on the ballot just so it might take

(35:50):
some votes away from Trump. So they're going to basically
have the lawyers who have been fighting for months to
keep him off the ballot and fighting against him as
a Democrat nominee forcing him to run as an independent,
all that on their heel are going to pivot and
immediately start arguing the opposite side because I think they

(36:11):
have the calculus in the data to reflect that RFK
Junior in the election hurts Trump more than it helps him.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
But this isn't a surprise at all.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Right, the entire world of the Democrats was Kamala Harris
is an embarrassment and adjust until five minutes ago, and
then it was whoop, snap the fingers, She's amazing, She's
the greatest politician of her era.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Vote Kamala.

Speaker 7 (36:34):
She'll tell you what she's gonna do after she wins.
So it is ruthless, man, you gotta respect the fact
that they respect nothing other than power.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
That's really where they are. So Lamar is gonna be
another great show. Clay buckle up.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
What a crazy season we've been in the middle of
and RFK Junior might just be the latest crazy uness.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
We'll talk about it tomorrow.
