Hour 3 Summary – Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show (Guest Host: Brian Mudd) In this third hour of the program, Brian Mudd delivers an in-depth review of President Donald Trump’s first 11 months back in office, focusing on the progress made on his 20-point plan to Save America. The discussion kicks off with the economic impact of Trump’s tax policies, highlighting record-breaking tax refunds and permanent tax cuts that many Americans will fully realize during tax season. Mudd emphasizes how these policies are driving affordability and economic growth, with inflation trending lower and wages rising faster than prices. The hour explores major achievements across multiple fronts: Federal Bureaucracy Reduction – Over 271,000 fewer federal employees, shrinking government size by nearly 9%. End of Wokeness & DEI Programs – Corporate America and universities have rolled back diversity initiatives, while the NCAA and Trump administration enforced policies protecting women’s sports under Title IX. Border Security & Immigration – Illegal crossings have dropped by over 99%, and a record-breaking 2.5 million deportations—including 1.9 million self-deportations—have saved billions in taxpayer costs. Crime Reduction – Violent crime down 11%, property crime down 12%, with major improvements in cities like Washington, D.C. and Memphis. Economic Growth & Jobs – U.S. GDP surged 4.3% in Q3, manufacturing jobs increased by 244,000, and reshoring efforts reduced reliance on China from 22% to 14%. Energy Independence – Domestic energy production hit record highs, including an 11% boost in renewables. Tax Relief Expansion – Elimination of federal taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security benefits, saving Americans thousands annually. Constitutional Protections & Rule of Law – Trump rescinded 97 Biden-era executive actions, overturned 16 regulations, and secured a 90% win rate in Supreme Court cases. Foreign Policy & Peace Deals – Historic progress in ending global conflicts, from Armenia to Israel and Iran, with ongoing efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war. Medicare & Social Security Integrity – Billions saved through fraud prevention and prescription drug price renegotiations. Regulatory Cuts – 646 regulations eliminated, saving households an average of $600 annually. Brian also addresses listener concerns about “more money in pockets,” explaining how Trump’s policies have reversed Biden-era losses, leaving the average American financially better off. The hour closes with reflections on Trump’s role as a peacemaker, the strengthening of the U.S. dollar globally, and a look ahead to continued progress in 2026.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's all about more money and people's pockets that they
earned and that they deserve to spend or invest however
they want to.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's going to be great for the economy. The bet
is Congressman.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
David Kustoff talking about tax refunds. We've heard that they
are going to be the largest on record, and in
many respects, the tax cuts that are going to be
realized come tax time, it's endemic. I think of Trump's
first eleven plus months endemic of the successes of twenty

(00:35):
twenty five, which is largely underappreciated and at times misunderstood.
It's been absolutely incredible, and just like with the case
of the tax cuts, they have so many people that
haven't realized the benefit yet. Yeah, the Trump tax policy
was made permanent, that was put in place during his
first time, so that happened. But the additional tax cuts,

(00:57):
so many people just have not realized that benefit because well,
they didn't change their withholding this year and so it's
not going to be until they file their taxes. They go, oh,
my gosh, that's what it really means to me. And
I think without a doubt that's what we're going to
see as we roll into twenty twenty six, is that,
Oh we had that kind of success? Insert policy here.

(01:21):
Brian Mudd in for Clay and Buck and I'm the
hosts of The Brian Mud Show, broadcasting from my home
station in West Palm Beach, just miles away from El
Presidente and mar and Lago. It is always an honor
and a pleasure to have the opportunity to share time
with you. Thank you for taking time on this New
Year's Eve to join me, and you can always check

(01:43):
me out at Brian Mud Radio, socially the Brian Mud
Show podcast where you get your podcasts. And the first
hour of the show, I went through my expectations based
upon prisident Trump's twenty point plan is save America what
he ran on coming into this year, to see the
real progress that's been made, and rhetorically it's pretty clear that, yeah,

(02:05):
we made progress against all twenty of these things. Now
I want to get specific because the one thing I
always talk about there being two sides to stories and
one side of facts.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So let's talk facts.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
When I talked about this being our year, what has
happened through the first eleven plus months, Well, take a
look at the first item, eye outline, if you waited
much of your life hoping for fundamental changes with the
way our federal government operates, like having the less of
it intruding into your.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Life, that this would be your year.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
As of December twenty third, there are approximately two hundred
and seventy one thousand fewer federal government employees compared to
January twentieth of this year. The size of the federal
bureaucracy excluding the military, has shrunk by greater than nine

(03:00):
percent since Trump took office. Did you know, almost a
tenth of the federal bureaucracy Gonzo in year one. We've
shrunk the federal bureaucracy by almost one percent per month.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
That Trump has been in office.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
And I understand for those that our federal government employees
have been impacted, that might not necessarily be a good thing.
But for the rest of us, look, we don't exist,
and we don't go to work for a bloated federal
bureaucracy to exist. Mention that if you've been waiting for
the death of political correctness and wokeness, that this would

(03:38):
be your year, well, there's a lot of context that
goes into this. You have changes all over the place
to give you an idea. Let's talk corporate America for
a moment. So within corporate America, you've had twenty percent
of companies that have outright eliminated DEI programs altogether this year.
A lot of them that did it right after the
election last year that we're getting ready for Trump coming in.

(04:01):
You've had an additional ten percent of companies that had
DEI programs that reduced the spending or influence of those
programs this year on college campuses big time. Four hundred
and thirty two colleges and universities across forty seven states,
so almost all states, even most blue states, have eliminated

(04:24):
DEI programs this year. You start talking about college wokeness.
The NCUBA, they changed their official policies stands to end
men that wake up and goo yeah, feeling like a
chick today, those kinds of people, the homosexual alphabetters. NCAA

(04:45):
changed their policy to end those people pretending to be
women and competing as though they are in collegiate athletics.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
That was big time speaking of that type of thing.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
President Trump also ended Trane's in the military. You still
have some legal battles about the extent of all this,
but the one of the big things the insane taxpayer
funded conversions for those who have enlisted, which, by the way,
for a lot of the people that identified on the

(05:19):
homosexual alphabet that ended up getting into the military the transitioners.
One of the big reasons that a lot of them
did it is because wellie, you and I tax pay
types would go ahead and pay for that. Previously, I
mentioned that if you had been waiting for a time
in which the godless Soulston's lenders legacy news media would
become irrelevant, that this would be your year.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
And you have seen the.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Fallout all throughout this year, including massive leadership changes, massive
news organizations including CBS News, NPR, NBC including the big
breakup from ms NBC what is now ms now, and
even at the BBC because of their January sixth editing

(06:03):
fake news scandal. Mention that if you wanted the rule
of law to be upheld, that this would be your year.
And this can go in numerous directions, but consider this.
It's so easy to forget to talk about the success
that President Trump has had and how so much of
it is like, oh yeah, if you think about these specifics,

(06:24):
do you remember the very first law president Trump's signed.
What was the very first bill signed in the law
by President Trump happened in his first week.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
It happened to be the Lake and Riley.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Act, Right, So, talk about the rule of law being upheld,
you had the Lake and Riley Act signed right away.
He signed twelve executive orders this year beyond that aimed
at improving law and order and specific to legal challenges.
Because this has been front and center, right. I mean,
every time that Trump breathes, you have somebody that's suing

(06:55):
him because he took that breath, and so every executive order,
every policy announcement, somebody assuming about something.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
But when the cases have made it.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
To the Supreme Court, President Trump has still had favorable
outcomes on twenty one of the twenty four cases that
have gone that far. Twenty one of the twenty four,
which tells you that the role of law is largely
being upheld ultimately, despite all of the frustrations in getting there.

(07:28):
Oftentimes I mentioned that if you want an equal justice
under the law, this would be your year. And if
you wanted to seal the border, stop the migrant invasion.
Of course, this a big part of President Trump's twenty
point plan. Well, of all of the achievements, it's probably
the best known. That's also the most underappreciated, the success

(07:51):
with the border, because not only did President Trump follow
through on immediately sealing the southern border, total illegal border
crossings include gonaways, they're at the lowest level in recorded history,
having declined by well over ninety nine percent from those
Biden eural levels. And to put it in another way,
there were often more illegal border crossings in a typical

(08:13):
day under the Biden administration than we have had in
over eleven months under the Trump administration. Think about that,
We commonly had more illegal border crossings in a single
day with Biden than we have had through over eleven months.

(08:37):
And that goes hand in glove with the next piece,
which is, if you wanted the largest deportation operation in
American history to remove the record number of the illegal
immigrants from this country, that well, this would would be
your year. And it certainly has been so a lot
of people will take a look at the deportations by
ice and miss most of the story. We have had

(08:59):
a record breaking two and a half plus million deportations.
That's right, We've had over two and a half million
deportations that taken place since the onset of the Trump administration.
That includes one point nine million self deportations. As I
mentioned in the first hour, that is the single best
thing that can possibly happen, because not only does that

(09:23):
solve itself that problem, but it also saves us greater
than seventeen thousand dollars per person in the process, because
that's how much it costs to go through the detention process,
to send ice out, to have them detain these people,
to put them in the deportation facilities, to keep them there,
and then eventually to take them wherever. So effectively, in

(09:47):
the first eleven months of the Trump administration, what's been accomplished, Well,
they've reduced the illegal immigrant population by somewhere in the
neighborhood of about one year's worth of Biden's open border policies.
Not bad, lots more to go, but given how much
harder it is to actually deport people are already here
compared to just letting anybody and everybody across that border,

(10:10):
or flying them in, or the CBP one home map,
as the case happened to be, it's pretty remarkable. What's
more is that Trump administration recently finalized the deal with
Boeing to significantly accelerate deportations going forward. And so if
they're able, if ICE is able to do a lot
more going forward, and you start having kind of that

(10:35):
next tier with those who have self deported, Like you
know what, it's getting a little close to home with
these deportations, maybe it's time for us to reconsider we
can maybe even accelerate that progress into twenty twenty six.
So I mentioned if you wanted an end to high
inflation and for life to become more affordable again, well,

(10:57):
this would would be your year. Okay, So of anything,
this is where a lot of folks are like, Look,
life's expensive. Life is really expensive. Inflation is still how
things cost too much. Okay, Now, a couple things about this.
I've always said that you can lie to people about
what policy will do, and those who are inclined to

(11:18):
believe that politician might for a time, but you can't
lie to people about what is or isn't in their
wallet because they know which. By the way, as we
are talking about Obamacare subsidies coming to an end today
that you have the left that's freaking out about. In reality,
I actually went all the way back in my analysis

(11:39):
of Obamacare, which evidently was greater than Nancy Pelosi's at
the time. Remember, we had to we had to sign it,
I had to pass it to know what was in it.
That's actually where I came up with that, saying that
you can lie to people about what policy will do,
and those who are inclined to believe my for a time,
but you can't lie to people about what is or
isn't in their wall because they know. When I was

(11:59):
dealing with the Obamacare issue way back when, and I
ended up bringing out analysis that show now, this is
actually going to create more problems. You're not going to
be able to keep your doctor, You're not going to
be able to keep your insurance plan if you want to.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
All these things.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
That was the response I had for people who didn't
want to hear it. No, because Obama said, well, you can.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
See what is or isn't in your wallet.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
You can see what the real healthcare crisis is, which
is Obamacare. Some people are really continuing to struggle under
the way to cost pressures generally and affordability issues. Don't
want to minimize that it's real. But with that said,
the fact of the matter is that the average American
it's actually fearing far better today compared to prior to

(12:44):
January twentieth. Consider this Consumer Price Index, that's your inflation.
Right for the first three quarters of President Trump's administration,
it's averaged two point seven percent. Now, that's lower than
the rate that Trump inherited from the Biden administration, despite
the impact of tariffs. But what is most important, and
this is what didn't happen during the Biden administration, the
average income has increased by three and a half percent

(13:07):
year every year. Okay, so if you're the average person,
net of inflation, you're actually doing about one percent better off.
You got money that's left over that you didn't have
prior to January twentieth. That's the big difference, because under
the Biden administration, the average American was worse off progressively,
the average American by the time Biden was done with

(13:27):
inflation and what happened with income growth, with the average
person about three percent worse.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Off than they were previously. So it was real.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
We've reversed that in the first year by about one percent.
So it still isn't exactly where it needs to be.
Trump knows that, but we have made a lot of
progress there in eleven plus months. Well, what's more is
that as US economic growth has been surging, as was
evidenced by the four point three percent third quarter growth rate,

(13:57):
which by the way, that followed the three point eight
percent economic growth r in the second quarter, the economy
keeps doing a lot better than the so called experts
think it will. We're seeing the economy grow far in
excess of inflation two and that should really help continue
to facilitate wage growth and job opportunities despite the impacts
of ai AS. That's part of the conversation too, So

(14:19):
there's a lot to feel good about on that front
as we enter twenty twenty six. We'll continue with the
receipts next. I'm Brian mudd in for Klay and.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Buck, Patriots radio hosts, a couple of regular guys, Clay
Travis and Buck Sexton. Find them on the free iHeartRadio
app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
They're trying to whitewash the operational facts on the ground
purporting to be a legitimate business I have legitimate business
operations when it's all a fugazi. So we're going to
continue to ask those questions we're learning more and more,
especially with the FBI and our DOJ partners on the ground.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Come Lands Security Assistant Secretary Trisha McLoughlin talking about the
efforts in Minnesota that we discussed largely in the second
hour of the show. As we're going through the receipts
right now on Trump's twenty point plan through the first
eleven plus months, often so much more progress that's been
made than I believe what people necessarily even Trump supporters

(15:28):
often will fully appreciate. You go through and it's really
an incredible story. Taking a look at the receipts, will
continue to break that down. We do have someone who
are not happy with all the receipts. Apparently, I'll get
Andrew in Houston with the talkback.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Hey, Brian Mud, you're talking about all these accomplishments, and
I'm a Trump supporter. I voted for him in the
primary in sixteen. You're touting off this twenty point thing.
What about this question?

Speaker 2 (15:55):
What are we going to get more money in our pockets?

Speaker 5 (15:58):
I don't work on overtime, I don't work on tips,
I'm not on Social Security. I'm not getting any more
money on the tax recurrent. Your guys are trying too
hard to convince people.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Yeah, I mean, look.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Two sides of the stories to one side of facts.
Your taxes would have gone higher if the one biggest
setically pleasing acts had in passed, because remember the Trump
tax cuts would have gone away, so down't have been
a tax increase. And then secondarily what I mentioned, the
average person is doing better net of inflation than a
year ago because of these Trump policies. So even if
you didn't get an additional tax break, above and beyond,

(16:32):
as you're talking about, the odds are you're doing better
than you were if you're just the average person then
on January twentieth. So it's not about trying, it's about
there being two sides of stories and one.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Side of facts.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
And that's exactly what we will continue to do as
I break down the receipts of that twenty point plan.
And let's remember it's only been eleven plus months too,
there is much more to come. I just think that
it's important to take note of the accomplishments that we've
already seen.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Brian Mudd in for Clan Buck.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Slee, Travis and Buck Sexton on the front Line of Truth.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
We're in the bullseye here. It was the snowiest day
on record for Syracuse two feet in one day, and
now we have mounds of snow all over the city
that are taller than us, taller than cars, and people
are just digging out. This brings the city to three
feet above average for the season.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
That is Fox Weather's Katie Byrne, and that Lake Effect
snow of State New York. I have a feeling it
will be a lot of New Year's celebrations that will
be inside and just with the family's indoors. So I
do hope you and your family have had a very
merry Christmas season. Happy New Year to you as we

(17:52):
roll into twenty twenty six. Brian Mudd here for Clay
and Buck, and I've been going through the receipts on
President trump twenty point plan that he ran on and
that he's worked on every single one of those points
during the course of this first eleven plus months. And
it's easy even for a Trump supporter to overlook the

(18:16):
extent of the success and in so many different areas,
I tell you, in researching and analyzing this for you,
that plenty of surprised this for me, I'm pretty informed
on this stuff, but there's still things like Holy Cow
or things that I'd forgotten because he accomplished them so quickly.
And so we're up to energy in the twenty point plan.
And when I mentioned that if you wanted to take

(18:37):
advantage of US energy resources as opposed to being reliant
on foreign sources of energy, well this would.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Be your year.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
We certainly have seen that type of policy in placed
by the Trump administration. And what has the net result been, Well,
total domestic energy production record high right now, it's increased
by about four percent. And that is not mostly the
because of oil. I mean, oil is a big part
of it. Oil productions up three percent, but electricity productions

(19:08):
up to you've had a five percent increase in that gas.
But here's something that probably surprised a lot of people.
The biggest percentage growth increases come with renewables. Yeah. Trump
just canceled the wind offshore program, and yet you've had
solar that has really led the way and renewables. There's

(19:31):
eleven percent more energy being produced right now today by
renewables then we had on January twentieth. If you've wanted
American companies to return manufacturing to the US instead of
relying on countries like China. Well, this would be your year.
Let's take a look at the scorecard in this one.

(19:51):
All in, fifty nine percent of manufacturing companies that do
business in the United States have increased manufacturing activity and
that has come through either existing footprints or restoring operations.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So what does that actually mean.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Well, US manufacturing employment has increased by two hundred and
forty four thousand jobs this year. You've also had an
additional one hundred and seventy four thousand jobs estimated to
have been protected be saved by the Trump administration policies
on manufacturing specific to reliance on China. China, the tariff

(20:31):
policies and everything that have been put in place that
have been aimed at the resurgence in US manufacturing.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
What's happened this probably will surprise you.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Prior to January twentieth, just over a fifth of all
the stuff you bought was made in China. Twenty two
percent of stuff purchased in the US made in China,
most recently fourteen percent. We're at fourteen percent. It's pretty
significant and the short window a time. Funny what happens

(21:03):
when you have American first executive orders when you encourage
US manufacturing, and you also see the impact of tariff
policy that way as well. Mention that if you want
to lower taxes, including an end to taxes on tips, overtime,
social Security, this would be your ear so done, done
and done on that one. President Trump's one big beautiful bill,

(21:26):
you know, so you might take a look at it
and go, well, and it might be somewhat potentially esthetically pleasing.
It delivered in a big way.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
So the average.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Employee who earns tips saves now about two thousand dollars
annually in federal taxes. The average employee who works overtime
during a given year will save about fourteen hundred dollars
and federal income taxes annually. And as for those collecting

(21:57):
Social Security, which is just about everyone, in a certain point,
approximately ninety percent of recipients will have absolutely no federal
income tax liability for Social Security going forward.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Savings A fifteen hundred dollars per Social Security recipient per year?
Kind of a big deal, right, kind of a big deal.
All these different things, and again most of that hasn't
been realized because people haven't adjusted their withholding and so
it's going to show up when it comes time to
file taxes. Mention that if you wanted a president who

(22:32):
will defend our constitution, our constitutional rights, this would be
your year. Well, ninety seven Biden era executive actions have
been formally rescinded by President Trump. Sixteen Biden era regulatory
rules have been overturned through the Congressional Review Act process.
You got a lot more that are still currently under

(22:52):
consideration through federal courts. And again, President Trump's win rate
by the time you get to the Supreme Court not
ninety percent, so most of what's under review he'll win on.
Trump has taken executive action to protect free speech, on
Second Amendment rights, restore a meritocracy, establishing a Religious Liberty Commission.

(23:15):
He's taken executive action on voter integrity, on treating homosexual
alphabet people as a protected class, and notably the birthright
Citizenship executive Order that is of course under consideration by
the Supreme Court. Will be a hot button into the
next year. Mention that if you've wanted an end to

(23:36):
foreign wars and conflicts that entangle and are often paid
for by you and me, that this would be your year.
Holy Call has it ever been. I mean, there's no
doubt that he's had more success. I think just about
anybody would have thought he possibly would have une peace.
President Trump proved during his first term that he was
the ultimate arbiter at piece. Then you get Biden's weakness,

(23:58):
all the messes, all the wars that up, and you
start taking a look at what a peacemaker and unifier
he's already been. What has he done as your band
in Armenia, negotiating peace there, Cambodia and Thailand, peace there,
Israel and Iran, ending that war, Gazan's in Israel, bringing
that to resolution, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo,

(24:22):
Indian Pakistan, Egypt, in Ethiopia, Serbia and Kosovo. Again, things
that people didn't even really realize were going on. He
had success in bringing peace to.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Nothing.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
You in Trump he's brought a record amount of peace
in a short period of time. And of course he's
actively working right now to bring an end to the
Russian Ukraine War. Hearing that very possibly could have progress here.
There's still some details to be worked out, but as

(24:56):
close as they've been to maybe getting to that finish
line of that war, and again even when the US
has taken sides and we've gotten involved, it's no longer
free lunch.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
We don't get taken advantage of the way we used to.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
So you know, we get minerals from Ukraine, rare earth
minerals and related natural resources. Weapons that we supply Ukraine.
They're paid for through NATO, and all that mention that
if you wanted an end to the weaponization the federal
government against select groups of people, this would be your
year well. From Arctic frost and the Biden administration's unconstitutional

(25:32):
targeting of members of Congress, among others, to the IRS
targeting of conservatives, pressure put on financial institutions to de
bank conservatives or purchases they didn't like, to the pressure
put on big tech to censor conservatives speech, to platform conservatives.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
All that stuff, it's all gone.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
It's kind of easy to forget that all that was
in place not long ago, all been taken care of.
If you've wanted an in to the migrant crime and
drug get epidemic, this would be your year well. When
non citizens having become greater than nine times more likely
to commit crimes compared to legal citizens like you and me,

(26:13):
natural born Americans by the end of the Biden administration
because how many bad Ombras were brought into this country.
No surprise that when you close the border and have
over two point five million fewer illegal emigrants in this country,
you're gonna have a significant decrease in crime. And that's
exactly what we've seen. And by the way, when you

(26:36):
talk about the specific some lower crime since January twentieth,
homicides seventeen percent lower, robberies twenty five percent lower, thefts
twenty five percent lower. Overall violent crimes down eleven percent
this country, property crimes twelve percent lower. It's not bad
for eleven months. One of the things if you want

(26:59):
to see safety we restored to our large cities, this
would be your year. You pick up on the overall
numbers the improvements and crime across large cities where the
Trump administration has been brought allowed to be brought in
and do what they want to do with the guard
had a huge success. For example, if you take a
look at DC, the crime rate is greater than twenty

(27:19):
percent lower than a year ago. Memphis another big time
success story. That way, you just have far too many
local governments that are like now, we like the illegals.
We like the crime and the violence. Beyond me mention
that if you wanted to see our military rebuilt without wokeness,

(27:41):
this would be your year.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Well.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
As previously mentioned, the President ended the days of trening
policies in the military, but the overall impact has extended
well beyond just that, because while rebranding the Defense Department
of the War Department, you have War Secretary Pete Hagseth
that's focused on reinstilling fitness readiness to the armed forces,
and also that the readiness needs to be there from

(28:03):
generals on down. They need to be ready to serve
to fight even if they were if it were necessary.
The discipline back in the military. If you've wanted to
see the integrity of the US dollar preserved around the world,
this would be your year. Well, after years of the clients,
the US dollars place is the world's reserve currency. It's

(28:24):
grown this year from a total of just under twelve
point four trillion being held by foreign governments to thirteen
trillion most recently. Again, a lot of people will take
a look at the US dollar and think, oh, it's
weaker than it was and o gold and silver.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
It means things are bad.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Actually, if you take a look, the US dollar has
five percent more influence around the world today than it
did prior to January twentieth. If you wanted to see
Medicare and Social Security strengthen so that they're not soon insolvent,
this would be your year. There's a lot of work
to do there, and again a lot of that has
to come with Congress. But starting with DOGE and continue

(29:00):
with some of the provisions and the One Big Beautiful
Bill Act, you get a total of nine billion dollars
annually and fraudulently issued benefits and Social Security that have
been eliminated. One billion an administration expense of the program
that's been eliminated. You have enhanced security measures for accessing
Social Security and Medicare. You might have noticed you try
to log into your accounts. During the course of this year.

(29:23):
As for Medicare, three hundred and twenty four arrests for
fraud had been made. Althost fifteen billion dollars in annual
fraud has been eliminated from the program. You have additional
savings of twelve billion annually that have been achieved through
Trump's renegotiation of prescription drug prices, which is another huge
way that many people are saving on prescription drugs these

(29:43):
days as well, but also medicare specifically. So yeah, a
lot of work to do, huge progress that's been made
through eleven months. And Jim that if you wanted to
end federal regulations, the limit consumer choice, drive of prices,
this would be your year. Well, the Trump administration's cut
a total of six one hundred and forty six regulations.
What does that meant to you, Well, about six hundred

(30:06):
dollars less and consumer expense annually. One of the ways
that you're doing better net of inflation than January twentieth
when you take a look at the cost of these
regulations is saved American consumers two hundred and twelve billion
dollars or six hundred per household annually. Not in significant money.

(30:29):
If you want reform and education, the end of a
funding critical race theory, gender fluidity, all those woke agendas
through the US Department of Education, this would be your year.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
So about that.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
No federal department cut as much as the Department of
head Over fifty percent of the employees have been eliminated.
Big swaths of the department's responsibilities redirected, including K through
twelve and post secondary education and oversight to the Department
of Labor, Indian education programs to the Interior Department, childcare
grants and accreditation to health and Human Services international programs

(31:02):
to the State Department. So there's been huge progress that's
been made. I'm doing just about all I can without
an active Congress to actually eliminate the Department of Ed
once and for all. We still have more receipts here
and I'll have them next. I'm Brian mudd In for
Clay and Buck News.

Speaker 7 (31:38):
As we prepare for tomorrow's celebration of the Solemnity of Mary,
Mother of God, let us entrust to the coming year
to her maternal intercession. To all of you and your families,
I offer my prayerful good wishes for a blessed Christmas
season and the new year filled with joe and peace.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
That is Pop Leo's New Year's Eve message from the
Vatican for you, and do iss you a happy new year.
Been going through the receipts and there have been so
many Trump's twenty point plan to save America. You know,
the next one up on the agenda, the wokeness in

(32:24):
women's sports and so On February fifth, Trump signed the
Executive Order Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports, and that
interpreted Title AGT or Title nine to require that, you know,
women's sports categories be reserved just for individuals assign female
gender at birth and imagine that. And so the NCAA
they responded in kind.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
That was huge.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
Another one, Trump talked about putting an end to anti
semitism on college campuses. What's happened while he signed that
executive order in January, sixty schools have had action taken
against them by the administration, over four hundred million dollars
in funds, withheld a lot of changes in policies, including
changes in personnel and many of the schools as well.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
One of the things that may not have known voting.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah, the President got involved in voting too, mandating documentary
proof of US citizenship on mail voter forms, among other things. Yeah,
the President, he said that he wanted this country to
be more prosperous than it's ever been. He has secured
a total of nineteen point six trillion dollars in new
investment into this country in eleven months. So yeah, are

(33:37):
we exactly where we want to be? Probably not? Is
there more work to do?

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Has it been an incredible eleven plus months, agad has,
and so taking account of that and then getting ready
for what comes in the new year is something we
all can do. We are set for success, and if
we control what we can control, including is showing up
at all elections and put the right people in the
right places, we can have an even more successful twenty

(34:04):
twenty six than this year's been.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Have a new year to you. Brian Mudd Inn for
Clay and Buck.
