Hour 3 of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show dives deep into explosive revelations about the weaponization of federal agencies, urban crime crises, and the Trump administration’s aggressive push to restore law and order. Buck opens the hour with an exclusive conversation with Senator Ron Johnson, who reacts to shocking news that Republican senators’ cell phone data was secretly scooped up during Jack Smith’s January 6th investigation. Johnson calls it an “outrageous violation of separation of powers,” warning that partisan operatives burrowed inside agencies and continue to sabotage reforms. He urges whistleblowers to come forward and stresses that exposure is the first step toward accountability.

The discussion turns to legislative gridlock and the government shutdown, with Johnson blasting Democrats for holding out on Obamacare subsidies and predicting they will cave under pressure. He highlights the failure of the appropriations process and warns that weak-kneed Republicans could undermine conservative principles if they agree to extend pandemic-era subsidies, which he says have fueled “tens of billions in fraud.” Johnson also weighs in on the upcoming James Comey trial, calling Comey and his cohort “a cast of criminals” whose actions inflicted more damage on U.S. democracy than foreign adversaries ever could.

Buck then shifts focus to crime and public safety, spotlighting Chicago’s staggering 110,000 gang members and 1,200 shootings this year alone. He slams Mayor Brandon Johnson for opposing Trump’s plan to deploy the National Guard and mocks the mayor’s rhetoric about “defending humanity” as delusional. Buck contrasts Democratic obstruction with the Trump administration’s results-driven approach, featuring FBI Director Kash Patel’s update: double-digit increases in arrests of violent offenders, fentanyl seizures, and child rescues in just eight months. Patel emphasizes that “the weaponization of law enforcement is over” and that federal agents are finally focused on crushing violent crime instead of political vendettas.

The hour also covers Portland’s lawlessness, where DHS Secretary Kristi Noem threatens to flood the city with federal officers after the mayor refuses to back security measures. Buck argues that Democrats consistently side with criminals over victims, citing examples from property crime policies in San Francisco to leniency for repeat violent offenders. He frames Trump’s crackdown as a defining contrast between the left’s permissiveness and the right’s commitment to law enforcement and public safety.

Listener talkbacks close the hour with fiery calls demanding accountability for Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the mainstream media, while Buck reiterates that statutes of limitations limit prosecutions but insists the Comey case signals the start of a broader reckoning.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, third hour Clay and Buck kicks off now.
By the way, Clay back tomorrow from vacation, so we'll
have a lot to catch up on with mister Clay then.
And in the meantime, we have Senator Ron Johnson with
us from the great state of Wisconsin. Senator Johnson just
me today, but we're going to have a robust chat.

(00:21):
Thank you for calling.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
In well, Buck, I hope you're doing well.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Yeah, man, it's great. I told your colleague Senator Paul
this before shutdown. DC is lovely. It's really the convenience
factor alone is very, very appealing. But tell me this.
The recent release from the Senate Judiciary Committee of the
phone numbers well basically showing that a number of Republican Senators,

(00:48):
including you, had their cell phone data grabbed by Jack
Smith's which Hunt investigation. What were your first thoughts when
you saw this.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Buck, I think you're aware of the fact that I've
been investigating the FBI dating back to James Comey's edited
exoneration email following that whole cast characters through to press
by a hurricane, the Russian collusion hoax, the Hunter Byden laptop,
and again I've seen the partnership, the corruption of the
federal law enforcement agencies FBI, d O, j, F close

(01:22):
and personal. I've been a target before of the Foreign
Influenced Task Force, so my first reaction was, doesn't surprise
me the slightest that didn't. Now it's shocking, it should
outrage every American. It's it's an outrageous violation separation of powers.
But unfortunately we've got half of America that's to listen

(01:43):
to the legacy media, and you know that they don't care.
They're completely oblivious to the decade long flitization weaponization of
the federal government agencies under Barack Obama and Biden. And
as I thought, Eric Schmid did a great job in
Juiciary Commute hearing esday. So there's all the Democrats are

(02:06):
banging on Pam Bondi about politicizing the the Department of Justice.
Eric Smith's the you know when you're trying to clean
it up, when when you're actually trying to deter future weaponization,
where you're trying to prosecute weaponization, that's not the same
thing as weaponized the agency. That's that's called law enforcement,
that's that's called the rule of law, and that unfortunately

(02:29):
is not what our Democrat counterparts, and you know, half
the country just doesn't quite get that.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I mean, the I know, the at least offered rationale
behind this is Jack Smith needed to look into January
sixth and the election plot or something like that. But
so so you're not surprised to see any of this.
But as we get this information and it becomes more public,

(02:56):
are are there any pathways to accountability? I mean, there's
the real warm piece of this, and then there's also
the those who abused their power. What happens with them.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Well, it starts with exposure. And I appreciate the cast
tal and Dan Bongin as soon as they found out
about it. I heard about on Friday. Close hold, we
got brief done Monday, we released that. We don't know
a whole lot. You know, what we do know is
the only way they found out about this is the
individual who scooped up these records was reapplying to be

(03:28):
part of the cast team again, the Cellular and Analysis
Survey team. And so that individual this is basically a bragsheet.
This is you'll put it down as an accomplishment. They
know I definitely should be part of this cast team
because I scooped up the cellular records of nine members

(03:49):
of Congress. You know, pat me on the back. So
that's how we found this out. We found out about
the ninety two Republican groups that are targeted by Jack
Smith because of the FBI whistleblower. So here's what I
first appeal on this show. We need more whistleblowers. We
need those of you in these agencies that respect your organization,
that want to see credibility and integrity return to it.

(04:11):
We need you to come forward with documents, hell cash,
hell Dan, this is what we know, because they don't.
I mean, you don't know what you don't know. You
don't know what documents exist that if you don't know
if they exist. So we need a lot of help.
Just because President Trump, who I think is doing a
fabulous job in office, all these folks are dedicated to
cleaning up the mess left by Biden and the Democrats

(04:34):
in charge. Just because you're in charge of the agency
doesn't mean you really are in control of it because
you have people burrowed in lestist partisans in these agencies babotaging,
frustrating every effort, just trying to wait it out until
they have another Democrat administration and they can weaponize it.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Again biking the Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Senator
as we're talking about this and trying to get as
you as you put it, you get the information out
there to expose what's going on. I know that there
have already been reported a number of firings by Director
Patel from the FBI if people involved in politicized and

(05:12):
abusive actions. Do you see a other than the exposure
and oversight component of this from say the Senate Senate
Judiciary Committee, Is there is there any legislative action that
you would want to see to try to reform any
of these agencies? Is there anything else that you want
to see the Trump administration do on the executive side
to try to reform these agencies.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Well, until we get enough Republicans, we probably need more
than sixty in the Senate to actually passed this kind
of legislation. With Democrats, you know, in numbers that prevents
this stuff, you're not going to pass legislation to fix this. Again,
they like government that they don't have no problem weaponizing government.
As you tell by that Judiciary hearing yesterday, Again, I

(05:54):
think the administration is doing what it can do. I
guess I'm just kind of warring the public. Don't expect
results here. The challenges that Pam Bondi and Cash Totel
and Dan Basin and President Trump face are enormous. I mean,
we saw the first administrations sabotage from within, so President
Trump is far more awarey of it. That's why I
think he selected people, some real fighters, some articulate fighters

(06:16):
like Pam Bondi and Cash Totel. But again, a lot
of leftists quit. They simply couldn't stand serving President Trump.
They had to fire, and they are terminating a bunch
of people, but there are plenty burrowed in. And the
problem is because of the law there against people like
Judge Troops in Wisconsin, the high integrity individual who is

(06:37):
President Trump's attorney during the whole election turmoil in twenty twenty,
they're destroying him. I mean they're trying to criminalize his
advocacy for President Trump. So it doesn't take very many
examples that they have to make of somebody like Judge
troupis for it really discourages other people who would like

(06:58):
to serve this president. But they also want to pay
up the student loans they want to have a career afterwards,
and they realize Democrats have no problem destroying people's lives
in their quest and maintenance of power.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
What are your thoughts about James Comy trial coming up
in January? Is this the beginning of accountability? Is this
not nearly enough James Comy. I'm sure as you've been
following weaponization, I would argue he has been among the
chief weaponizers of the FBI, and therefore doj power.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I view that whole cast of characters as criminal. The
problem is statute limitations. You know, what crimes can you
actually charge and condict them with. They won't even come
close to fitting the damage that these individuals have done.
The Brennans, the Clappers, the Komy's, the mccaid's, the pages
of the structs, Tim Tebow, I mean these partisans. They

(07:55):
have interfered in our election, They have created such political
turmo over the last decade. Russia and China couldn't dream
of interfering or doing the political damage to our nation.
Then these then this cast of criminals has really pulled offside. Again.
There's I don't think there's enough you could charge them
with or sentence them with to make them pay for

(08:18):
how much damage they have done to our democracy. You know,
you always hear democrats presidence corumps the danger a democracy. No,
these people threaten our democracy, and you can demonstrate it's intealculable,
quite honestly, the damage they've done to our body politics
into our democracy.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Now the government may open next week. We talked to
Senator Paul in the last hour about this. Do you
think Democrats have just politically lost this one entirely? How
do you gauge that? We've we've talked about what's that
issue here? So I think the audience is pretty up
to speed. We're all up to speed on they want
ACA subsidies, you know, they're they're crying, they want they
want to have their cake and eat it too. But

(08:57):
just on the political side of this, Schumer is pushing this.
Is this a loser for him and for the Democrats overall?
How do you see that part of it?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Well? I sure believe so. Again, the House to the
smart thing to pass the clean cr and left town.
So it's obvious the only reason the government shut down
is because Schumer won't vote and tells Democrat College to
vote for funding levels that are Biden's levels. You know,
since I've been hearing, we've had fifty five continuing resolutions.
My guess is Schumer's probably voted for off fifty five

(09:27):
or the vast majority. So what's the difference now, Well,
again they're holding out for this ACA. Now they can
always count on the mainstream media be their ally here,
and that's concerned as well as they can count on
some of our weakneed colleagues. You're jumping to the freighting. Oh,
we've got to do a deal here, Okay, So I'm
highly concerned. I appreciate, quite honestly, you know what you you,

(09:48):
you and Clay been talking about here. I appreciate the
articles written by Kim Strauss and a bunch of folks
the Wall Street Journal. They're trying to instill a little
spine in the Republican conference here. But no, this should
be clear. Winner. I sure hope we don't cave and
extend these temporary COVID pandemic enhanced subsidies which have resulted
in terms of business dollars of fraud and perpetuate that fraud.

(10:13):
So I hope, I hope President Trump digs the feels
in as well and realizes how fools should be to
throw more money at a completely failed Obamacare.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Is that even to me, that just would be such
a political blunder and also such a betrayal of principle
for Republicans. Is there a real concern that they make
cave on the ACA thing on the subsidies or is
that is that a pretty low probability and we are here.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
We are hearing people or you know what kind of
backdoor channels that kind of stuff. Fuck, Let me give
you an example. You know, I propose, do you eliminate shutdown?

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Neck right?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Pretty common sense. We can eliminate shutdowns for all time.
So of course every Democrat, every big spending Democrat, vote
against it. But unfortunately we had a lot of Republican
appropriators vote against it as well. The rationale they use,
by the way, is because there's going to undercut the
appropriation process. Let me just describe in here, fifteen years

(11:12):
they should have passed the appropriation process. Should have passed
one hundred and eighty appropriation bills prior to the end
of the fiscal year. You know how many they've actually
passed in those fifteen years of the one hundred and eighty fix.
So Republican appropriators together, every Democrat is defending an appropriation process,
holding a hostage to an appropriation process, and as a

(11:33):
ninety six point seven percent failure rate. So no am
I concerned about what some of our weak need colleagues
and the Repulcton party might do. Absolutely which is why
we need presidential leadership to make sure that doesn't happen.
If he says, do not do it a god, I
appreciate the fact he's tweeted and say, look, we're happy
to help them fix their completely failed Obamacare. I'm happy

(11:56):
to do that, but not extend these substats which literally
would perpetuate tens of billions guys with a fraud from
the air tax peer to insurance companies on policies people
don't even know they have.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Seems very straightforward to me. So I know you'll hold
the line, Senator, and you come back and tell us
if any of your republic colleagues get a little weakened
the knees, they got to come off here and Clan
buck get explain why they would cave. Thank you for
being with us, Senator Ron Johnson, as.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Always appreciate that to you, and you have a great day,
all right.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Our sponsor pure Talk shares our values in addition to
providing excellent cell service on the best nationwide nationwide five
G network, and for one, they support our military by
investing in organizations that help veterans once the service has ended.
They also employ a customer service team that's one hundred
percent US base, which is a real rarity in the
wireless industry. And pure Talk does something else worth noting.

(12:48):
They support free speech. They stand by the principle that
everyday American should be able to speak openly without fear
of retribution. We may not always agree, but we respect
the right to one another's opinion, and so we're proud
to pure Talk as a sponsor on this show. Switch
your cell phone service to pure Talk and support those
who support your values and your right to free speech,
and also get a better plan, better pricing, and better

(13:11):
customer service. It's win win win all around. The price
of pure Talk service only reinforces why you should change
from AT and T, T Mobile or Verizon plan start
at just twenty five BU month. You're gonna save a
ton of money when you switch Dial pound two fifty.
Say Clay and Buck to switch to our wireless company,
Puretalk right now. You'll save an additional fifty percent off

(13:32):
your first month dial pound two five zero. Say Clay
and Buck to switch to puretalk do it today.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
You know them as conservative radio hosts, now just get
to know them as guys on this Sunday Hang podcast
with Clay and Buck.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Find it in their podcast feed on the iHeartRadio app
or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, welcome back
in to Clay and Buck. Can't believe we're already in
the middle of a third hour. Here plays back tomorrow,
which will be a lot of fun. He's had a
great time on vacation, but he misses radio too much.
You know, that's just the truth. He misses all of you.
He's having a great time with his family. He's at

(14:08):
his place down I believe, in the Panhandle. But tomorrow
it'll be the duo, the dynamic duo of Claim Buck
back in action, and we'll dive into everything of the day.
I'm sad to say I'm leaving DC today and heading
to Nashville. Actually Clays hometown, have an event to do

(14:28):
there which I am looking forward to. Nashville is always
a good time, always a town that I enjoy spending
time in. And so I get that. I got that
going on. All right, let's shall we take a moment
here Brandon Johnson. Brandon Johnson is the mayor of Chicago

(14:48):
and is impressive insofar as he may be the worst
mayor in America, replacing the previously worst mayor in America.
And when you think about it that way, you go, wow,
now there's stiff competition. Lori lightfoot. At that time, you

(15:09):
had that guy Ted Wheeler and Portland horrible mayor. You
had Deblasio, disastrous mayor. In New York, you got the
guy who loves well. Krasner was the DA in phil
I don't even know who the Philly DA is, but
Krasner was like the worst DA in America. Although that
I think it was chese Boudin got actually recalled. In
San Francisco. Some of you were telling me the San

(15:31):
fran mayor now is not that bad. It's not a
ringing endorsement. I don't even know who the mayor is,
but I'm hearing from some of you that the San
fran mayor is not crazy. The DC mayor. You'll note
I told you all along DC mayor Bowser a Democrat, Yes,
not going to agree with her on a lot of things,
but does like business in her city and does not

(15:53):
like crime in her city. You know, she's pro business,
anti crime. You can work with that on some things.
And she has not been going all out against Trump
with some of the things he tried to do. Here, again,
working within the Democrat realities. I'm just saying she's better
than a lot of other Democrat mayors. I wish we
could have a great Republican mayor here in DC, in

(16:15):
our nation's capital. But she's better in a lot of Democrats,
definitely better than Brandon Johnson. Here he is explaining why
he doesn't want anything in the city to get better.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Play eight in order for our country to be a
place of promise and hope and opportunity for people around
the globe who have called the city of Chicago their home.
It's why we're so committed to ensuring that we're protecting
our democracy and defending humanity. What this president has instigated
and what he has escalated is absolutely an egregious attempt

(16:47):
to have complete control over all of our cities.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
This guy's delusional. What is he even saying here? He's
defending humanity? I mean, first of all, calm down. Okay,
you're talking about people who are getting deported, who are
supposed to legally under our laws, be deported. Deportation means
you are processed in a facility, you are put on

(17:13):
a plane flight, and you are sent back to your
home country. Okay, this is not some horrible, you know,
evil thing, and we have to have that or else
we don't have a country. We have an economic zone
that people come and go and there's nothing holding us together.
And oh, by the way, communist China is going to
take over as the global hedgemon and we are toast. Okay,

(17:34):
so we have to actually have a country. And if
there again, I'm I'm not saying that if somebody comes
in the country illegally, they should spend twenty years in
a prison that's reserved for like j six nonviolent defenders
according to Democrats. I'm saying, if you come illegally, you
gotta go defending humanity. Otherwise, why do we have immigration
laws If there can be no punishment for the violation,

(17:56):
we do not have a law. And speaking of laws
and safety and security, Saber is there for you to
make sure that our families and our homes are able
to be defended with the best non lethal products in
the market. Saber is who I trust to protect me
and my family with non lethal As you know, I'm

(18:17):
also a two A guy, but I like force escalation options.
My wife prefers non lethal is her first line of defense.
Pepper sprays, pepper projectile launchers. Saber makes the best ones
you can get. They're the number one pepper spray brand
trusted by law enforcement. Saber spell spelled Sabre. The website
is Saber radio dot com. That's Sabre radio dot com.

(18:38):
You can go online. You'll save fifteen percent when you
go to that website today. They have a whole range
of personal and home defense products that you're just gonna
want to stock up on. I've got them at home.
Clay's got them at home. You can also call them
at this number. Eight four four A two four safe.
Get that pepper projectile launcher eight four four A two
four safe. And we've got some crime issue used to

(19:00):
talk about here, notably how this administration is trying to
use the powers that it has to make us safer,
make America safe again. Right, this is something that we
should all be behind. I told you before about the
incredible miracle in El Salvador from one hundred and three

(19:23):
per one hundred thousand to one per hundred thousand in
ten years. From a place that is so dangerous that
nobody wants to go and visit to a place now
that is so safe that people are investing and walking
the streets. And it is possible, not just in countries
that have always been in recent memory at least very safe.
You can make places safe. It is a choice. There

(19:45):
are choices made, and certainly FBI Director Cash Patel knows this,
which is why he is directing. Is this remarkable? So
the FBI is actually being used to go after people
who are real criminals, who are hurting people, doing very
bad things, praying on their fellow Americans, their fellow men
and women in this country. And he's actually using cops

(20:09):
to do the things we want cops to do, not
doing pre dawn raids on somebody for taking a selfie
in the Capitol building and walking around for sixty seconds
before they walked out. That was the FBI's obsession under Biden,
as we all know now now they're going after bad guys.
In fact, here he is, here's Cash Mattel talking about

(20:31):
this I think was on Fox last night he said,
this has cut ten. Listen to the numbers here, the
increase of the FBI arresting real criminals, play it.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
The weaponization of law enforcement is over. The American people
gave President Trump a mandate, and President Trump gave me,
as his FBI director, a mandate as well, go crush
violent crime and defend the homeland. And when you let
good cops be cops, like the cops in the FBI
and the local Letessa police officer around this country, they
do their job, they get the mission done. As you
lay these stats, this is just eight months on the job, Sean,

(21:03):
we are up double digits on every metric of consequence
when it comes to crushing violent crime, finding kids, seizing fentanyl,
arresting violent offenders.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
That's what you want to hear, isn't it from your
FBI director that they are going after those who are
the danger to the public. That the FBI, that the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, are premier federal law enforcement agency
is doing things that anybody could sit around and say, yeah,
that's what we want them doing. They're they're enforcing the

(21:35):
law in a meaningful way, and they're improving public safety,
and they're holding criminals, those who do evil. That's what
I mean. Serious crimes here, not a pre dawn raid
on Roger Stone in his silk pajamas because he upset
the Democrat apparatus. Okay, I mean real crimes. I mean

(21:58):
actual criminality. They're going after this and it's a very
welcome change what we saw in the previous administration. Now
this was interesting as we have the National Guard in
process of deploying to Chicago to help out there again,
Director Patel saying, well, you gotta hear this. How many

(22:18):
gang members do you think there are according to law
enforcement in the city of Chicago. We're about to hear
plate cut nine.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
We learned that the Chicago city streets have one hundred
and ten thousand gang members.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
That's right, you heard me right.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
They had twelve hundred shootings this year alone, three hundred
and sixty homicides. When politicians choose to side with those
metrics and not their citizenry. Thank god, we have President
Trump and this Department of Justice and this FBI going
in there and crushing violent crime. And President Trump sent
us into these cities quietly to set the stage to
set up for the National Guard to see the success

(22:52):
that we saw in Washington.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
D C.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
In Memphis. The FBI has been leaving the charge in
every single one of these streets because we know how
to gather ground level and intelligence, and we know how
to put handcuffs on the bad guys, and we know
that we have the backing of this administration, and most importantly,
the agents that the FBI know that they have the
backing of the American people and their government.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
And that's important. That's something that everybody should be able
to get behind and everyone should see as what the
FBI is meant to do. If we're going to have
a federal law enforcement agency, shouldn't it be focused on
the most serious crimes and laser focused on arresting those

(23:32):
who are a danger to the people around them? Okay,
not doing a lot of the nonsense that we saw
the FBI focused on in the body and as you know,
also very much involved in the crossfire Hurricane Russia collusion scam.
I think about the diversion of resources to partisan weaponization

(23:56):
that has occurred in the Trump era, it is staggering
when you add it all up. You know, the mar
al Lago rate, they raided mar A Lago. Some of
the stuff that has happened, you have to say it
out loud and you go, how did that happen? Well,
they went all out. Oh no, Pandora's Box is going
to be open. They ripped Pandora's box. Pandora's Box has

(24:18):
been obliterated. And yet there's still a lot of work
to be done, that's for sure. And on Portland another
place where they the Democrats have dug in. They're saying
it's not there's no problem really because they've made decisions
law enforcement, local law enforcements, made decisions not to back
up the federal agents. They've allowed federal facilities to be

(24:43):
under siege from maniacs. What is it about the Pacific Northwest?
It's such a I think it's such a beautiful part
of the country. It has just become Antifa Stan, it
has become I know, it's just along the coast. Some
of you listening live in interior Organs, very beautiful living
like Ben Dorgan or something, and you love it. But

(25:04):
the coastal cities, Seattle and Portland, it's like looney bins
and it doesn't again, doesn't have to be that way.
But this is what has turned into DHS Secretary Nome
met with the Portland mayor who has not been willing
to use his office and his law enforcement resources to

(25:25):
restore law and order and to support federal agents who
are trying to conduct their lawful missions. She made it
very clear that that's not going to be that's not
going to be acceptable. Play eleven.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Just met with a mayor, and I'm so extremely disappointed
he's continuing to play politics. Did not commit to any
of those promises and said that he'd give me an
answer by tomorrow, and I'm hopeful that he will. What
I told him is that if he did not follow
through on some of these security measures for officers, we
were going to cover him up with more federal resources,
and that we were going to send four times the
amount of federal officers here so that the people of

(25:59):
Portland could have some safety. They can have some security. Today, Jesse,
we went and got a sex offender off the streets
here in Portland that had been violating minors, and this
Portland mayor tried to brag about him making our streets safer. No,
absolutely not. It is our federal CBP and ICE officers
that are cleaning up this city, and every single day
they're going to stay dedicated to doing that.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
What is it about democrats? Really, let's think on this
one together. A lot of answers will come to mind,
but just taking a beat on this, I think is important.
What is it about Democrats where they somehow always find
a way to on any issue where there's crime and

(26:46):
criminality involved, they always take the side of the criminal.
There's something going on there, right, There's something very deep
seated where if there's an issue and one side wants
enforcement of law, accountability, increase in safety, and the other
side is no, you know, the guy's only done a
few bank robberies, a couple of attempted murders. Maybe he's

(27:09):
going to reform, he's got an outstanding warrant. But you know,
the Democrats are always on that side. And you do
not find Republicans who make preposterous excuses for crime and criminality.
This is a pathology of the Democrat mindset. And they

(27:29):
don't even think that there's both sides ism here. One
of the main things that separates the right and the
left in this country is that we believe in the
enforcement of laws, especially with regard to violent crime, and
they don't. In as many ways as possible. They want

(27:50):
to give it the most lenient sentence, if there's any sentence.
They want to not prosecute, if they can avoid prosecution.
They want to defer. They want to drop the chargers
at every opportunity. And you might say, oh, but that's
because Democrats, you're not gonna say this, But this is
a straw man, I'm doing a straw man voice. Straw Man,
here we go. They might say something like, well, that's

(28:13):
because we believe in mercy and we wanted to give
second chances. Okay, but can we agree that tenth chances
should be off the table? Can we agree that career
violent felons don't deserve the benefit of the doubt to
go back out on the street and reoffend for the
fiftieth time. Can we just have some ground rules, like

(28:35):
if we could just get Democrats to agree to those things,
there'd be so much improvement possible in these cities. But
they won't. Can we agree, Could we get Democrats to
agree on the record that if you're in the country illegally,
you're subject to deportation. That's what the law says, that
is what the law says, there is no argument about

(28:55):
whether the law states that, whether federal laws the same
federal law that says is that you know, you and
I have to pay our taxes, and the same federal
law that is it has thousands and thousands of different statutes,
some which are very necessary and moral, some of which
are kind of bizarre. And the government has just made
some decision on the law says that they that these

(29:16):
individuals can be are not can are to be deported.
And yet Democrats don't want that to happen. If they
don't want that to happen in Portland and Chicago, they
should have the courage of their convictions to say, we
want amnesty. We don't believe in deportation, and we want

(29:37):
everybody who's here, including gang members, including murderers and rapists
who are not even Americans, because legally, lawfully and in
all senses, these illegals are not Americans. We want them
to be able to stay, and they should make that
case to the American public honestly. Instead, what you have
is this game. You know, it's like they're pulling a

(29:58):
Katie Porter.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
You know.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Oh, no, I believe in the rule of law. I
believe in law enforcement too, but don't enforce the law
against this guy or that guy, or that guy or
that guy. You can't have it both ways. You can't
want the problem and then say that you're part of
the solution, which is exactly what they do in all
of these cities, is exactly what they do. With all
the efforts from the Trump administration to increase safety and

(30:23):
to support law enforcement, they're always in opposition. They're always
the opposition to these things. And I think eventually we
just have to have enough Americans wake up to this.
We're not going to ever convince some of them. They will.
I will never forget. Things got so crazy in San
Francisco during the pandemic with property crime. That's really the

(30:45):
issue there. It's property crimes, just stealing, it's theft all
the time. Because they decriminalized effectively, they decriminalized shoplifting. And
there were articles and there were there are people who
are making the case that if someone is breaking into
your home and just stealing stuff, you shouldn't call the

(31:05):
cops because it's just stuff. You can replace stuff, And
if you call the cops, they might show up, they
might have to use force against the criminal, and that
could be racist. And what was so interesting too, is
who said anything about the race of the perpetrator, Like
they were making this assumption, making this assumption, this is democrats,

(31:26):
this is libs, this is the left. They're saying, Oh,
it invites violence against black and brown individuals if you
call the cops during one of these things, Hold on
a second, anyone's capable of stealing? Like why Democrats they
start to show you a little bit more of who
they are. They start to show you a little more
of their thinking on some of these issues when they
speak out loud, when they say things, and that I

(31:48):
think was when it finally went too far. Maybe that's
part of why San Francisco has now a less insane mayor.
I have to look into how things are going over there,
but a less insane mayor because it reached that peak
point of insanity where it was you just got to
let the criminals do the crimes and shut up about it.
I mean, that's wokeness. Got us to the point where
if they want to have race riots and burn down

(32:10):
your neighborhood, got to deal with it. If somebody wants
to steal from your home, whether you're there or not,
got to deal with it. This is the price we
have to pay, and a lot of us just say no,
we don't want to pay that price. We don't accept that.
And Trump is representative of that response of that enough

(32:30):
is enough. And I hope he keeps pushing on it.
No matter how much I enjoy these incredibly productive trips,
I do miss being at home with Carrie Speed and

Carrie loves these. I'm gonna say, I don't know my
wife's listening right now. She's very finicky about things like betting.

(33:37):
She's finicky. I'm just gonna say it as she loves

Speaker 1 (34:17):
App or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm heading to Nashville.
Actually gonna be not only back on air with Play tomorrow.
But we're gonna be hanging out tomorrow afternoon doing some
some fun stuff in downtown Nashville. Who knows. You may
see me in line at peg Leg Porker getting my
favorite barbecue. Big fan of that place, delicious stuff. It's
I'm embarrassed by how quickly I go to the go

(34:38):
from the airport to the air Sometimes I'm I gotta
get some barbecue in Nashville. But yes, it is gonna
be a good time in Nashville tomorrow, so I will, hopefully.
I'm sure i'll bump into some of you on the street.
I don't know. Maybe I'll be scooting by on one
of those scooters with my my little knapsack on, just
going around. Well, it won't be as fun as it
is here because the streets are so empty DC. I

(35:00):
think there's actually people walking around in Nashville. Let's take
some talkbacks. We have Butch from Massachusetts. This is cc
hit it. This is Butch from Massachusetts.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Yes, Massachusetts, the cradle of the liberal Democrats, were not
all that way, man, Believe me.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I ad all what's going on right now was call me.
But what I want to know.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Where's Hillaris indictment, Where's Obama's indictment?

Speaker 1 (35:27):
And when is the mainstream media going to be held
accountable for everything that's going on in our country today?
They had to blame butch, I hear you on all this,
there's not going to be indictments on any of them
because the statute of limitation issues part one. There's other
things you could throw in there too, like well what
exactly are the statutes? But that stuff, all the like

(35:49):
lying under oath and administrative stuff that would have all
run This is one of the reason why they had
to bring this Comy charge now because of the the
timing of it all. They recognize that they were about
to be well, the clock was about to be run
out for Comy. So, yes, accountability is in the works.
I think this is a good thing. And like I said,

(36:11):
this is the beginning of a process. But this Trump
team is dialed in. They're doing excellent work and having
had some interactions with them here in DC just in
the last twenty four hours, this is the A team.
They've really done some great stuff and Trump and his
whole White House and whole administration should be really proud

(36:31):
of how they're operating in this second term, so I'm
gonna leave it there for today. Please go check out
the Clambuck podcast Network. In the meantime, we had Carol
Markwitz on yesterday. We've got so many great people, Dave
Rutherford on that podcast network. Go check that out, Doctor
Sapphire and more. And we'll do that tomorrow
