Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back in final hour of the week, fourteen hours
of fifteenth hour underway. It is Friday. Let's have some fun.
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. Encourage you
to go subscribe, play and buck YouTube page. Three hours
of radio video of our radio show going to be
(00:20):
going up there in the months ahead, and you'll be
able to consume this show in even more ways than
you already can. You can find us on podcasts. Crazily,
video of podcast is now more popular than podcast, which
I never would have predicted. The media market place is
evolving rapidly, and we want to be everywhere, including all
(00:40):
five hundred and fifty five stations from all of you
out there in all fifty states, so you can find
us on the iHeartRadio app. We are everywhere. A bunch
of different news stories. Let me hit several of them
off the top.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Here.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
We have discussed in great detail the Bolton raid, the
raid on Trump's former security advisor, which took place this morning.
We don't know a lot of the details associated with it,
but it is underway. Trump is he still talking. Guys
talked for over an hour basically in the Oval office
(01:17):
surrounding an announcement which we are getting lit up for.
It is very funny sometimes what the audience gets fired
up about because it is a World Cup related event,
and both Buck and I are proponents of soccer being
a sport that is worthy of watching. Many of you disagree.
The Kennedy Center is going to host the group stage
(01:38):
announcements on December the fifth, and I do think if
you are of the opinion that America's stature on the
global stage matters quite a lot. Trump is focused on
trying to make next year's World Cup one of the
greatest events the United States has ever hosted, and also
on making the twenty twenty eight Summer Olympics a big
(02:01):
deal as well. At mirrors in some ways the World Cup,
which we hosted in nineteen ninety four and the Atlanta Olympics,
which we hosted in nineteen ninety six. Some of you
are letting me know that we have hosted the Winter Olympics,
and I certainly don't want to shade that, but the
Summer Olympics is a much bigger deal than the Winter Olympics.
(02:22):
Way more countries participate, way more viewers watch and are
involved in that. And that's not to integrate the Winter Olympics.
I hope to get to go what they're having them
out in Park City right in the twenty thirties, if
I'm not mistaken, and I would love to be able
to go out and watch some of those events in
Park City outside of Salt Lake City, which is a
(02:44):
fabulous there. You go place to visit if you have
never been, And I hope to be able to go
to that. But twenty twenty six World Cup next year,
I bet Buck and I will go to some of
those games. Twenty twenty eight LA Olympics. Texas redistricting is
currently underway. The votes the Democrats have shown back up
after saying, oh, we're not going to be there. We've
got I want to play this cut. We need to
(03:06):
get her on the show. Virginia governor wins some seers
in what is turning into a heck of a Donnie
Brook in Virginia. Virginia has unique gubernatorial processes in place.
First of all, they have the election the year after
every presidential election, off year election, so twenty twenty one,
(03:28):
twenty twenty five right now, and you can only serve
one term. So Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin who has done
a fabulous job by all intents and purposes and would
probably be a very big favorite to be re elected,
is not able to run for a second term. He
could run in four more years, but you can't serve
back to back and so win some Sears is running
(03:50):
against Abigail Spanberger and that is currently underway also, and
she's got a great ad. We'll play it for you
before this show is out, but we need to get her
on the program. Okay, Trump being Trump, there are still
a bunch of funny clips that are coming out from
(04:11):
that event.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Here is a reporter asking Trump if he's going to
take part in the World Cup events, and Trump says, heck,
do you see what soccer players make? I may decide
to start playing soccer Cut thirty four. It's going a good,
big event that the center you get to do take part. Well,
you have a part to play on this under event.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
I may play.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
I mean, I see the money that these soccer players side.
We call it soccer, but I see the money that
these soccer players are make it. I may triumph leven
very good athletes. My son, my son is a very
good athlete, and he's a good soccer players on the
twelve side for soccer six nine.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
It's pretty tall, but that's pretty try on the twell side.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
But he's good.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
But I may, I may put on shots on extremely
good insurance.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
I can enjoy the It's got to be a lot
of fun. Uh the Trump. I do think you and
I have hit on this a lot. Trump is way
funnier than he gets credit for. I mean, just way
way funnier. He doesn't laugh laugh like Kamala Harris has
that really uncomfortable cackle whenever she tries to make a joke.
(05:19):
Trump does deadpans a lot of his humor, and I
think people are just not I mean, I understand our
audience gets Trump's sense of humor, but I think a
lot of his critics don't understand when he's actually joking
and poking fun at them because they've kind of got
the idea that he's hitler, and so the idea that
he would tell a joke they don't get. And he's
not a haha, I'm gonna laugh at my own jokes guy.
(05:41):
But he's very good at deadpan, and so this is
this is very very, very very funny. From the White
House a little bit earlier. Let me hit you at
this buck. You're a New York City guy. Cracker Barrel
is being universally savaged over their decision to do away
with the Needsney Sweeney.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
I'm seeing the memes. Cracker Barrel needs Sydney Sweetey to
save the brand.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
So I have two questions for you to have some
fun to start off the day. Here the third hour here,
after fourteen hours on the air so far this week,
let me ask you this. We have seen the old
white guy, Cracker Barrel guy, both the Cracker and the
Barrel canceled. We have seen the Native American, the Indian
good looking Landa Lake's Lady remember her used to be
(06:28):
on the Land of Lakes, butter Aunt poor Aunt Jemima
has given up, the ghost on the Syrup and Uncle
Ben do you remember Uncle Ben from Uncle Ben's Rice
back in the day. All of them have been canceled
for being considered to be problematic. If you could bring
back one, who do you bring back? Cracker Barrel Guy,
(06:48):
Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben or the Indian Landa Lakes Girl.
I'm probably Indian Landa Lakes Girl. I don't know. I'm
just out there. I don't really have a strong preference
that as a strong I've got a power ranking here.
I know exactly. I think it's at Jemima. I think
Angelima really got treated unfairly and she was great on
(07:10):
the pancake Syrup. Now I want the Cracker Barrel guy
to come back, but I would like to see all
four return. But I think Angemima would be my number
one draft pick here. And second part of this in
your home city of New York, Cracker Barrel decided to
reach out with all of this going on, and they
had a public line dancing event in New York City
(07:34):
as part of their rebranding of Cracker. Sorry, I'm laughing
because I just can't believe that this is real. These
marketing people are such morons. They did a line dancing
event in New York City after canceling the logo, after
arguing basically that the brand was outdated, and now they're
(07:57):
going to do line dancing in New York City.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
I'm gonna tell you it's ira AI. People talk about
what jobs are going to be under pressure from AI.
I think marketing is going to be a career of
the past in a lot of ways because the tools
of marketing making things, pulling together research, you know, making
logos brands. That's going to get a lot easier for everybody.
(08:19):
And so I believe that you're going to see that
also advertising the advertising industry more and more that's going
to be brought in house. And with AI you can
create logos and decals and videos and all kinds of
things on your own. So now, I'm sure there are
some very nice conservative marketing people out there, but generally
those are industries that are absolutely dominated by communists and
(08:42):
have been a huge problem for those of us who
work in conservative media for as long as I've been
doing this because they block us all the time. They
don't want to work with conservative brands. These Madison Aveniston
Avenue advertising executives and the rest of it. These marketing executives,
they don't want to work with conservative brands. They bring
extremely left wing politics to things. And so the wreckage
(09:05):
that I think is going to run rough shot through
those industries because of AI is well in a lot
of cases, it will be a come up in s
that is well deserved.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Have you seen this video yet of the line dancing
going on in New York City's meatpacking district?
Speaker 4 (09:20):
So can I just tell everybody meat meat packing is
one of the trendiest neighborhoods in New York. I think
you would have one of the lowest levels of Republican
registration in meat packing, probably in.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
All the five boroughs.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
I mean, it's up there with Brooklyn, the really blue
parts of Brooklyn, which are ninety plus ninety five percent
plus Democrat. So to roll out the line dancing in
meat packing is quite a thing to do.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I just you know, really what this gets down to,
And I know it's a silly, ridiculous story, but I
do think it's reflective. They hire these executives who have
contempt for the customer. That's really what this is about.
When you decide you're gonna rebrand, oftentimes what you're saying
(10:08):
is the people who like us, we don't like them.
And this was bud Light. Hey, bud Light's too freddy.
They have an immature sense of humor. Yeah, most guys do.
Most normal guys have a little bit of an inappropriate
and immature sense of humor. Every single person married to
(10:29):
a man knows this. Every single person raising a son
or a grandson knows this. We all men are a
little bit immature. And oftentimes a little bit inappropriate. That
doesn't make us bad people. In fact, it actually makes
us somewhat more likable and endearing, because if you have
(10:51):
a sense of humor, as we've just talked about with Trump,
sometimes you can have a more effective communication strategy with
humor than you can with straight aggressive analysis of argument.
The other thing here, though, cracker Barrel. I thought Byron
Donald's did a really good job calling in and talking
(11:12):
about this because he had worked there when he was
very good. He's always he's always a he's always a
fun guest. But good idea from Buck because he was
tweeting about it. He was like, you know, shoot him
a taxi. We'll call in and talk about it. But
I do think I feel this and I see it
because you know, college football fans sometimes get raked over
(11:32):
the coals because we're seen as rubes, because we're seen
as not sophisticated football or you know, you're you're not
the right kind of person to appear oftentimes in television,
advertisement or whatever else. That's the people who hit a
cracker barrel, and so they have contempt for their audience,
and that's why you do a pop up event in
(11:55):
the meatpacking district of New York City because that CEO,
that's who she wants coming to Cracker Barrel. She wants
the trendy person from New York City who they're never
gonna eat at Cracker Barrel. That's not your base. It's
old Southerners like me, people who want nostalgia from old
(12:16):
Southern meals that they might have had in the past
or that they might remember. And I just it really
it really gets me angry because you're destroying something that
someone built that is actually great, and you have contempt
for the people that have allowed that business to exist.
You're turning your back on them, and it really fires
me up. Honestly.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Well, this is this is progressives all throughout the culture.
Their locusts. They show up and they just destroy. They
take over and destroy things left and right. California for example, Now, no,
it's not destroyed. California still got a lot of beautiful
stuff and you know, great places to live. But in
terms of governance, the taxes and all the way that
(12:56):
it's handled, California became became rate when it was a
red state. That's when California reached what you know, it
became what it was when it was a reliably republican
state actually, and then Democrats took over. And they do
this in a lot of places. They take over something
that is, you know, remarkable, and they make it. I mean,
(13:17):
look at what they did with Twitter. Before Elon bought it,
Twitter was this cool social media site and then it
just became infiltrated with these progressive, lunatic left wingers, and
then they turned it into a big social justice you know,
like a nonprofit basically, and we're using it to discriminate
against their political enemies. And they completely overran that place.
(13:41):
I mean, this is why when Elon boughted it was
so fascinating. You saw this. It's like they burrowed in.
As I always say, they're an invasive species. They don't
seek to be in harmony with the right, with conservatives
in these places, live in that live neutral space.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
That's all nonsense.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
They want to completely create a political monoculture, and unfortunately
Clay marketing and advertising, it's kind of like Broadway, total
political monocultures. There's nothing else allowed except left wing stuff.
And you know that's that needs to change. I hope
it will change. But on the cracker barrel issue too,
(14:16):
people were saying, well, who cares or why? No, It's
not just that the woman who was in charge of
this of this crappy rebrand effort clearly is like at
MSNBC watching liberal That's that's one part of it. Why
did they want to change it? What was the indicator
that it was in need of change? It was old,
it was white, it was southern, that was and those
(14:40):
things are viewed by the people put in charge of
the rebrand as inherently negative. That's the point. That's why
it offends people that they messed with this thing.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
And again, we're going to go to break. But I
do think that is the only reason the business exists.
If you take away the southern charm of Cracker Barrel,
there is nothing left. That is the foundation of the brand.
You're never gonna get trans influencers from Brooklyn to show
up at Cracker Barrel to go eat. They don't like
(15:16):
the people who consume their product. And honestly, it is
malpractice to have people running the company that don't respect
the people that consume the product. I mean, that's the truth.
Look Tunnel the towers. Their support and your support makes
a lasting difference for so many families like the Clark family.
US Air Force Sergeant Jesse Clark's military service came to
(15:38):
an end after a chemical exposure caused a large tumor
to form in his brain. As a result, he's paralyzed
on the left side of his body, legally blind, prone
to memory loss, and in a wheelchair for the remainder
of his life. Friends like you help Tunnel the Towers
build this hero a new smart home to help him
live a more independent life. So many more fans families
(16:00):
like the Clarks need your help now. Tunnel the Towers
was founded after the horrific events of nine to eleven
to help families like the Clarks. We can't forget, not
when they've sacrificed so much for all of us. America's
heroes have given so much, and thanks to them. You
can give a lasting and impressive donation to help show
(16:20):
your commitment to their sacrifice. Join us in donating eleven
dollars a month to Tunnel to Towers at t twot
dot org. That's t the number two t dot org.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh, and they do
a lot of it. With the Sunday Hang, Join Clay
and Buck as they laugh it up in the Clay
(16:41):
and Buck podcast feed on the iHeartRadio app or wherever
you get your podcasts.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Welcome back in to Clay and Buck and we've got
an update for you on this story about the raid
on former Trump national security advisor from Term one, John
Bolton's house.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Just play this. This is JD you just spoke about it.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Well, so we're in the very early stages of an
ongoing investigation, and to John Bolton, I will say, we're
going to let that investigation proceed. What I can't tell
you is that, unlike the Biden DOJ and the Biden FBI,
our law enforcement agencies are going to be driven by
law and not by politics. And so if we think
that Ambassador Bolton has committed a crime, of course eventually
prosecutions will come. But as you know, Christen, this is
(17:22):
all part of gathering evidence, trying to understand something that
we're worried about. And of course I'll let the FBI
comment on the next stage of the investigation. What's that
The root of this is this about classified documents?
Speaker 1 (17:33):
We're going to I'll let the FBI speak to that.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Classified documents are certainly part of it, but I think
that there's a broad concern about Ambassador Bolton. They're going
to look into it, and like I said, if there's
no crime here, we're not going to prosecute it. If
there is a crime here, of course Ambassador Bolton will
get his day in court.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
That's how it should be.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
But again, our focus here is on did he break
the law? Did he commit crimes against the American people?
If so, then he deserves to be prosecuted.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
All right, we'll get more into that in a second here.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
But speaking of crimes, you want to be able to
deal with crimes that can happen to you in your home.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all of you hanging
out with us where you are joined now by Andrew
who was heading up the World Cup on behalf of
the Trump administration. I'm sure there is an official title
he can fill us in with. We played many of
the audio cuts from earlier today where President Trump announced
that Kennedy Center will host the Group Stage draw on
(19:16):
December fifth, and we'll get into that in a sec.
But President Trump said, uh, he's got a great sense
of humor, as you well know that he looks great
in shorts. Andrew, you have known the president for a
very long time. Your dad Rudy has known him forever.
Have you ever seen President Trump in shorts in your life?
Speaker 2 (19:37):
You know, that's the hardest question I've got all day,
and I didn't think it would be from the Clay
and Buck Show right there.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
So yeah, there you go right off the top of
the amendment.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
On this one. I just just seem to not recall.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
I don't recall.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
We'll put it that way.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
All right, let's die. We'll get into the World Cup
in a minute. But President Trump also said that he
wanted to basically give a shout out to your dad
and how much he had been right about and how
unfairly he was treated for having President Trump's back. So
we're gonna get into the World Cup in a minute.
But how is your dad doing And what does hearing
that from the President mean to him? Oh, it means
(20:11):
a ton.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
And obviously, look the President and my father and so
many other people that fought for justice, that stood by
Donald Trump, that stood by this MAGA movement, you know,
really took one on the chin for four years. So
to see the resilience of Donald J. Trump, to see
the resilience of Rudy Giuliani. As you know, we say
(20:33):
words all the time, and you know, we put up
quotes and we read passages from those that are wiser
than us. But to actually see it in the flesh,
to see what resilience actually is. For four years, I
can tell you I learned my daughter learned, and I
hope the United States of America learned a lot. And
I think the one way that I describe it with
(20:54):
Donald Trump, if you want to know about him, you know,
take everything else and take a thirty second point in
his life when he came a millimeter away from losing
his life. His instinct was to get up and tell
the world that they were ready to fight. Fight fight.
That's Donald J. Trump, and frankly, as a son, I
can tell you that's Rudy Giuliani as well.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
That's powerful stuff. I was then going to ask about
FIFA if I could for a second. Sorry, it tough
to follow that up. I think that's an incredibly important
point that I made about Donald Trump and the kind
of man he is and his temperament in his character.
But can I ask you you were on the task
force on the FIFA World Cup twenty twenty six. Trump
was speaking about it today, Just Andrew, I'm gonna put
(21:38):
this out there, Okay, you were a goalie. If I recall, right,
weren't you a soccer goalie back in the day.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
You know you'd be the only one that would know
that there. Well, kid, you do remember that, you know,
I actually I do.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
I remember you playing goalie on my brother sis. So
Andrew and my little brother were on the same soccer team, Clay,
and I remember that is one side or knowledge. Yes,
you didn't want to bring it into Andrews house. Let
me tell you, you know what I'm saying. I mean,
did those elbows fly a little bit in the keeper box?
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Maybe? Sometimes? You know, absolutely well?
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Under a buck Sexton administration at Saint David's, you know,
we had to make sure that we had the best
athletes in there. I actually thought I was a decent
goalie until I think we played against a kid who
was on the you know, under twelve national team. I
stopped the first shot and then I think he scored
four straight goals and I realized.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
That maybe I should go take up golf.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
So that's what happened.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
I think, well, golf is a great game too. But
tell me this, tell me everybody out there who is
a little whether they love soccer or not. And this
we're trying to hammer home, how is this a showcase
for America, a showcase for the Trump administration bringing business?
And now he's talking about bringing safety into these cities.
(22:49):
So Americans and visitors from all over the world can
enjoy an incredible sporting event in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
The way that it should be.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Yeah, a couple perspectives, and I think for America is
to really understand the scope of how large the World
Cup is. We'll take the Super Bowl, the super Bowl.
Abut one hundred and thirty million people watched the Super Bowl.
I think that's about the number last year. The World
Cup final last time around was one point five billion,
with an expected two billion just watching the final alone.
(23:17):
It actually dwarfs the Super Bowl. But when you actually
look at the fact that this is the largest sporting
event in human history, this really is. It's the first time,
this is forty eight teams, You've got eleven US cities,
five other cities in Mexico and Canada, and this is
also happening over our two hundred and fiftieth birthday. So
(23:38):
just think about this. If the United States team can
go on a run in the round of sixteen, they
could end up playing in Philadelphia on July fourth, on
our two hundred and fiftieth birthday. What this can do
in terms of showing to the world what the United
States of America actually is. There's no other sporting event
(23:58):
that can even compete for this scope of this. And
that's what I think Donald Trump understands better than anybody.
As somebody who understands not just how media works, but
obviously how to connect with people in a way that
you know, certainly nobody in my lifetime has. He understands
just how much of a platform this actually gives to
(24:19):
the United States of America.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Today announced and this is going to be a cool event.
I'm looking at my calendar, so I think I've got
this right. It'll be Friday, December fifth. For everybody out
there that doesn't understand why this matters, they are going
to be drawing, I believe, and announcing the group stage matchups.
That's when you'll start to see. As you just laid
out all of the different dates for when the US
(24:45):
team will play other teams around the world, that's going
to be taking place at the Kennedy Center, what will
that look like for people out there who may not
necessarily be huge sports fans, but are probably going to
get caught up in maybe some of the excitement surrounding this.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
This will be like the NFL Draft times one hundred.
Because think these people that are excited that their teams
have qualified, obviously Argentina, the defending champion, Brazil, France, all
these great soccer nations. They'll then finally know that their
team will start in New York, we'll start in Houston,
or maybe we'll start in San Francisco. And so what
(25:22):
you'll end up seeing at that point is people from
all around the world start to make their reservation, start
to buy their tickets, start to really get through this process,
and you'll see, really from a tourism perspective, incredible opportunities
for American small businesses. And I think that's really where
the President is focused on as well. It's not just
(25:43):
an opportunity to showcase from a media perspective what the
United States actually means, not just to other Americans, but
to the rest of the world. It's a great opportunity
to show off American small business and how we lead
from the front. And really also the exciting too, is
this kicks off a decade of mega events. You're not
(26:03):
just looking at the World Cup, but you're looking at
the Olympics coming up in twenty twenty eight, You're looking
at maybe a Women's World Cup coming up in twenty
thirty one other major events that are really kicking off
under Donald Trump's leadership. So it's exciting. The draw really
is the first part where people will really start going
crazy about World Cup twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Does Trump like soccer?
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Andrew, do we have any real sense of this? He
loves spectacle, he loves sport. We know that for sure.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Is he a soccer guy? Because he says his.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Son, Baron, who's six nines, I would think basketball should
be in his future, is a soccer player. What can
you tell us about this? Give us a little inside
baseball if you.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Will, Well, I could tell you yes, obviously. Look, we're
all trying to always in life make our parents or
our kids proud, and so I think the fact that
Baron is such a soccer fan really has major influence
on the President. But I wasn't sure about that very
question until I saw him at the final of the
Club World Cup. And you know, sometimes the president considering
(27:04):
he's trying to end multiple wars that he's working on,
terriff issues that he's working on, all kinds of different issues,
you know, DC trying to give the quality of life
back to Washingtonians, like we saw New Yorkers get their
quality of life a few decades back. Sometimes you guysn't
have time for an entire soccer game. Well, he actually
sat through the entire soccer game and then gave out
(27:26):
the trophy to Chelsea, the winning team. I think he
does have a passion for soccer. But more than anything, guys,
we know he's got a passion for great American events
and really being able to show off the United States
of America the way that it should be. You guys
know on the left media has I think told fantastic
lies about what the United States of America actually is
(27:48):
and what our first two hundred and fifty years actually was. Well,
the President actually wants to set the record straight on that,
and the World is a great opportunity to do that.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Andrew, you know, it's something we do here on the show.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
We're very dedicated to bringing frontline, ground truth to this
audience whenever we can. And so with that spirit, I
think you just have to tell us which World Cup
matches were joining you at as the World Cup Ambassador,
and we'll do that research for our five hundred and
(28:20):
fifty affiliates and the podcast and everything else. That's the
dedication we have to American sport.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Well, that is great dedication. If you guys keep asking
me a question about President Trump and shorts and I
think we got to send you to the Iran Games
to be determined.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Guys, to be determined. That's a fair point. Class. I
think which games we're going to with Andrew, you keep
pushing them on this. How many games do you think
you will watch in person? This is like the greatest
job out there. Honestly, when you told me a while
back you were going to be doing this, that's kind
of you know, sometimes you get like, you know, they
gave Kabla Harris the Border, which didn't go very well.
(28:58):
You got a signed Hey, let'll be to make sure
that the soccer tournament, the global phenomenon that is the
World Cup goes well. How many games do you think
you'll actually go to?
Speaker 2 (29:08):
No, it's fantastic and I feel very blessed. And look
I ended up in the last Club World Cup going
to all eleven stadiums multiple times. Because really, I think
and the real focus of our task force more than
anything else, and this is right from President Trump, is
let's make these sites. Let's make sure they're safe and secure.
I'm not even worried about the people that are trying
(29:29):
to come into the country illegally. Now because DHS has
done such a good job, homean and Secretary and Home
has done such a good job eliminating that number to
almost zero. Learn about who's tried to come in over
the last four years under Biden. So so much of
our mandate is making sure that these stadiums, that these
fan fests are safe, because look, you go back to
(29:52):
let's say the Olympics Munich in seventy two or Atlanta
in ninety six, and you think about a security incident.
I want to make sure that on July twenty next year,
what people are talking about is something that happened on
the field, some great play that happened on the field,
a great goal that was scored. If that ends up happening, guys,
then I know I've done my job. To take another
football reference, it's kind of like a long snapper. If
(30:14):
nobody talks about my performance in the game afterwards, it
means we've.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Done our job. One last little bit, I want to
circle back to something you told us. It is the
possibility for those of us who are sports fans, that
you could have the US men's soccer team playing on
July fourth also have a UFC fight on the lawn
of the White House on the two hundred and fiftieth
(30:39):
anniversary of the United States. Sounded to me like July fourth,
twenty twenty six is potentially setting up as an all
time awesome day.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Oh, it is going to be an unbelievable day when
you think about it, and I think the whole celebration
of America's two hundred and fifty years, there's going to
be nothing like it. I've seen some of the plans,
and there's more and more plans being added every single
day on this. It's going to be so exciting to
continue to see this. And I've had the opportunity to
talk to Diana White about this and I cannot wait.
(31:15):
Just to get your popcorn ready. We'll put it that way.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
Just to be clear, Andrew, I didn't ask about Trump
wearing shorts, So I get to go to the UFC fight.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Just just so we're clear on that one. I'll go
to the Iran game. I'll do my research make sure, yes.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
That's what we're gonna need. Obviously, some of our best
people at the Iran game, so we'll we'll send you there.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Very important.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Clay is ready ready. You know, he's a team player.
That's the one thing you can say about Clay. Andrew Giuliani,
Executive Director for the White House Task Force on FIFA,
Our friend Andrew. Always good to talk to you, man.
Let's talk to you again as soon as this guy's closer.
Speaker 2 (31:48):

fun at work. So you know, thank you guys for
everything that you do. And I'm looking forward to chatting
with you guys a bunch here over the next two
hundred and ninety two days.

could listen to the podcast network. The Clan Buck podcast
network remembers not just this show, which is fantastic.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Some people are saying.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
You can listen to our friends Carol Marcoitz, Tutor Dixon,
David Rutherford, Dave Rutherford, Clay we should have him on
next week. He was just on the Sean Ryan Podcast
Sean Ryan Show. I think it was a seven hour podcast,
So there's a lot of a lot of content there.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
I saw you send that, and good for him. I
just seven hours a long conversation.
Speaker 4 (34:47):
There's a lot, a lot of a lot of life
wisdom and what not to share, you know. So we'll
talk to him about it. We'll bring him on, ask
him what we should get sewan On. We haven't had
Shawn On in a white a while too.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
I mean he's just yeah, absolutely so, yes, indeed, please
check out the claim Book podcast network. Do we have
Trump talking about his knowledge of grass, not the kind
you smoke, the kind that goes on a course or
on a field. Do we have it, Yes, play it.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
One of the things we're gonna be redoing is your parks.
I'm very good at grass because I have a lot
of golf courses all over the place. I know more
about grass than any human being, I think, anywhere in
the world. And we're gonna be regressing all of your parks,
all brand new sprinkler systems, the best that you can buy.
Just like August said, it'll look like Augusta, it'll look
(35:35):
like More importantly, Trump National Golf Club that's even better.
But we're gonna look, we're gonna have all brand new
beautiful grass. You know, like everything else, grass has a life.
Do you know that grass has a life? You know,
we have a life and grass as a life. And
the grass here died about forty years ago. So we're
going to be rebuilding all of your parks and it's
gonna happen fast. It's gonna go up like a miracle.
(35:58):
So you do the job on safety, and I'll get
this place fixed up physically, and we're going to be
so proud of it at the end of six months.
But let's say at the end of a year, this
place will be maxed out in terms of beauty.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Isn't it kind of amazing how Trump is just trying
to fix legitimately everything, even including the grass of Washington, DC.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
Yes, yes, but it's great and these are things that
we should be able to count on government to care.
But like making things orderly and beautiful and safe, isn't
that what government's supposed to do when it can where
it can within its remit? So Trump doing fantastic things.
(36:39):
I'm just honestly, this weekend, everybody just think about it.
You're not tired of winning yet, but there's a lot
of winning going on right now, so go enjoy yourself.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
No doubt, we'll be back with you Monday. Thanks for
spending time with us, see it anyway.
