Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to the Tutor Dixon Podcast. I'm excited today because
we have Sage Steal with us. She is the host
of the Sage Steel Show. And the last time I
saw you was in Grand Rapids. You were just mentioning
that before we went live, and that is because you
were here for the last Trump rally, which is we hear,
not the totally last Trump rally, but it was the
(00:21):
last one of the campaign, which was in Grand Rapids.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
It's a tradition and it was wild, wasn't it. Oh
my gosh?
Speaker 1 (00:28):
I was.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
I was in awe and I had obviously never been
to the prior rallying Grand Rappers, and I know it
is tradition. And I walked in and I'm like, okay,
it's one in the morning. There's no way people are
going to be awake for this. It was jam packed.
The energy was incredible. I got to see Tutor Dixon
stand up and wave like Miss America. It was really
(00:51):
really so cool, like unforgettable experience for me.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Well, you know, we were talking about it before that
day when we were going in, because remember he came
to Grand Rapids after the first assassination attempt too, so
we had been at that rally, and it was just
as packed, it was just as much energy.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
It was like, Wow, this is a real movement. It's
a different movement.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
After the assassination attempt, I think people were like things
just got real on a way different level and they
were not going to even so much a step away
from him. It was like the support in Michigan was unreal,
and that to me was really interesting because we're.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
A swing state.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
And I would say to the people in the office,
think about it. If you were in a swing state,
you would never see a rally. You know, people don't
come and try to get you to come out and
vote if you're not in a swing state. But Michigan
was such a strong swing state that in twenty twenty
it went to the Dems.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
In twenty two it went to the Dems.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
And we really thought, you know, Gretchen wiber had this
incredible power here because she was considered a front runner
to take the seat Kuma ended up having, and we
just didn't know how it would go. But that was
electric and I was so happy to see the results.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
On election night, I was too.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I will say I didn't trust your state, I know,
because of past history and so I'm like, Okay, I
hear it's I hear. It's the great crowd there. I
heard it in so much passion. There is a good
core base of conservatives and.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
People who are tired of what the Democrats have and
having done, especially in your state, the lack of leadership there,
in particular with Gretchen Whitmer and some of the things
she pulled on social media leading up to the election,
like you yet so stupid, Like what the heck.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Is going on?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
So it was really special. And then I'll tell you
this to get back on Trump forth. Once we'd come
from Pittsburgh, did your rally, and then went back down
to Palm Beach. That week, we it was wheels up
at like two forty five am. We landed in Palm
Beach at like five forty am. The man did not sleep,
The man did not stop talking.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
The man did not pop peak day the entire time.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
When we landed at five flick of everybody's like, oh
my god, like sleep, you won't. So it was so
surreal to witness it and how high he was coming off.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Of that rally in Grand Rapids. It was historic.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah, oh gosh. And the next day was just incredible.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
I mean, I was so nervous and I went into
it and I'm like, I feel good, But you always
feel good when you're on the ground. And I think
that's the thing that is hard to judge. When you
are on the ground and you're in those rallies and
you go to the grassroots events. Those are the people
that love you and they want to come out for
the Republicans and you're like, Okay, I feel good about this,
but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
And then it was such an overwhelming win.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
But I think it was a bigger deal than what
a lot of people felt.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Probably. I mean, you would know this from your perspective.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Having left the sports world that you were in because
you couldn't really have a conservative opinion.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
What is it like.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Today to go from that, to go from seeing football
players Neil in the field to the Trump dance after
a touchdown, Like it's.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
All fake and someone's gonna wake me up in a
solid Trump.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
But it must be so vindicating, you know.
Speaker 6 (04:09):
I guess I haven't thought about it that much, but
that's a good word. I it probably doesn't fly. I
don't want there to be a negative pnnotation with it,
Like see I told you so, because that's not what
I am for you, right, But it's it's just like
we were living in such a sad time with so
much fear. And I was at the UFC fight this
(04:31):
weekend with John Jones, and when I saw every single
fighter after the fight come over and hold onto the
cage and talk to Trump and be like, oh, And
then I got this great video of John Jones when
he first he did the dance right when he won,
when he beat the Ochi.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
But then he came out and he stood there. He
knelt there.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Theater with the President elect for over a minute and
just thanking him for what he had done.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
And they looked at Elon and he's like, oh my god, Elon,
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Kid. It's like he didn't even realize they were there
because he was so focused. And that did That was
Saturday night. Look at what happened on an NFL Sunday.
Look at what happened on the pitch with Christian holistic.
Like I'm believe all these athletes have been holding this
in for years, just like I did, because we had
to because if you're woke, you're out of a job.
And pr staffs with these professional sports teams didn't want
(05:18):
to deal with it. So I do think Beth and
I admit to sitting there Joe UFC and I saw
some former ESPN teammates not really sitting near me at
Macesquare Garden and the love for President Trump when he
walked in, and how crazy.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
The crowd was.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
I just thought, I hope these people are looking and
watching that deep down they know not just what they did,
but what they allowed as leaders was raw and was
hurtful to this country. So yes, there is vindication, not
for me personally, but for all of us who just
wanted to watch sports and to love America and not
be criticized for it.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
So something has turned and I like it.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, it's like you said said, the fear factor was
so strong. I mean even now you have a I
can't remember which Democrat it is that came out and
said I don't want my daughters to be in sports
with men, and the fact that I'm afraid in my
party to say that is a problem. And now it's
so funny to watch the Democrat media twist itself into
(06:20):
a pretzel trying to say there was something else there
that the American people are not rejecting this wokeism. I mean,
they're desperate to say that's not what it is. But
here you've got this guy who's elected. He's either in
the Senate or the Congress or in the House, I'm
not sure which one. But he comes out and he's like, what,
we're afraid to say it. We don't agree with it either.
Wait a minute, if you have people elected in your
(06:42):
party who are actually saying, hey, I think this sucks.
I don't agree with it, but I'm so afraid. What
does that say about your own party if your own
people are afraid of your party?
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yes, and yes and yes, and I believe it was
in Massachusetts. Here's my problem with that. Great glad you're
coming out, where the hell have you been? Where the
hell of or your daughter?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
For your neighbors?
Speaker 4 (07:05):
So I call bolted on all.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Those people like, no, this has been this is the
most basic issue that they have.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
So COVID. We can debate over COVID and all the
things that we didn't know. No, this is so black
and white.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
This is hashtag science. So for the Democrats now to
be coming out and saying this, I good. I guess
that are late and never but I'm beyond disappointed. And
that shows the lack of a spine. That's the nicest
word I can think of for all of these people
who have chosen to let our girls get hurt, not
the unsafe spaces, feel unwelcome, feel scared to speak up.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
So I am I'm angry at those people.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
And then CNN, you've got some of these conservatives that
are coming out and talking about this as well. And
I saw last weekend one of these guys went after
them and said, you know, don't you dare call them men?
Don't you dare call them biological men? And I'm like,
my gosh, you're still doing it.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
And it's not.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
It's not a friendly discussion. It's not it's not that
you can have a difference of opinion. It's if you
do not agree with me, you shut up.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
It's still that.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Exactly. And it's so funny there's all these little changes for.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
The politician in Massachusetts top AOC who all of a
sudden takes their pronouns out of her file.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
And then she asked the conservatives, well, what podcast you
listen to?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
No, Like, I'm a nice person and I am forgiving
and welcoming and let's let's move ahead. No, you're full
of it, and now you're being an opportunist because you
know you're screwed.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
In the meantime, What did you do to your people?
What did you do to girls? What did you do to.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Your constituents, the people in New York? You abandon them
and then you lectured them if they didn't follow your thinking.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
So oh, you know, okay, So let me let me
counter that a little bit.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
And I'm not defending her in any way, but I
will say that I do think that so many of
the people get sucked in by the Democrat machine at
a very young age, and they're chosen. It's like I've
seen it in my state. They choose people, Oh you're
this radical progressive. I will create something out of you,
and they do it. They put money behind the brand,
not the person behind the brand.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
AOC was a brand.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
And I'm not saying she has changed her mind, but
I hope that she is somebody that can because I
do think that she's powerful in her party and if
we can at least get to some of those people
and say, come on, come on, there's freedom in this country,
and freedom is what we all fight for. We are
united in the fact that these rights are inaliable, inalienmal
(09:40):
rights that we have to keep, that we have to protect,
and there's a reason for them, and that women have
rights too. And so I look at that and I'm like,
you know, if Tulsi could change, and maybe AOC can change.
And that's what I think was beautiful about what I
saw with Trump. It wasn't Republicans, it was everyone.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
It was everyone.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
And so I I would agree with you, and then
I pray for change for everybody. And I think told
the's one of the most beautiful examples. The reason to
me why she's different is because the way she did it,
AOC was one of the most hateful people towards anyone
who thought differently of her.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
That's true, that's true, Hitler the racist, the misogynist.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
I mean, the ugliness with which she spoke about anybody else.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
And so then all of a sudden.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
You lose, I mean up to the very last second,
and then all of a sudden you lose.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
And after the election, you're gonna soften. So, yes, we
can all evolve, and that's what I hope. But there's
one thing to be, you know, evolving and saying Okay,
I was going to be wrong here, but she cannot
expect us. I'm not going to forget about the.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Way in which she chose to disagree. There's a way
to do things, and I think she did it terribly
and all of a sudden, I don't know, Maybe I
need to go to church again. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
No, you make a really good point, and I think
that's something that I am sort of one of those
people that's quick to forgive and go, Okay, let's all
be a happy family. But it's not that you shouldn't
be quick to forgive. It is that you should always
be cautious and you should not forget what has happened
and watch those those people. And actually, I think that's
something that Republicans are now even looking at.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Oh you have a Kennedy. Are you sure we can
be safe for the Kennedy? And so we are.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
We are cautious in the political realm by nature, because
it has become such so cultish. On the other side,
if you are not with us, you are you are
not American. That's what it has felt like for the
last four years. We have been under this microscope as
are you a do you fit into this category. Do
you fit into this category? I mean, my gosh, I've
(11:43):
been I've been called an election denier, a forced further,
a radical, an extremist, a domestic terrorist. It's like, I've
never been called anything nice and I and now I'm like,
you know, it's funny because Trump is such an unusual
candidate and un usual leader. He comes out and I
know people are like, oh, what a troll. He offered
(12:03):
to pay off Kamala's debt. But the point of that,
I really believe is, hey, I'm not going to go
after the other side.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
I told you I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
What I do think is so great about how Trump
has handled things this time versus eight years ago. And
I guess up through his presidency until twenty twenty twenty
twenty one, I love and he acknowledged that maybe he
didn't do as great of a job betting people.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
He should have done.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
A little bit deeper with we brought on and maybe
fired people a little bit sooner. So I know that
he's had a lot of time to think about this
or people freaking out about certain cabinet selections right now,
but he's had time to do his homework, and I
believe he truly has vetted them. And when you look
at the picture that was taken in front of me
at UFC at nasa'sburg Garden on Saturday night, and you
have RFK and Elon and TOULFI and Donald Trump, and
(12:51):
the caption says four Democrats, four former Democrats are about
to lead our country as Republicans look like it is
crazy what has happened. It tells you, frankly, sadly, how
far left extremists that the Democrats went. And that's why
you have that people like Bill Maher publicly just condemning
(13:12):
what they've done.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
It's one thing to be a classic liberal. It's another
thing to do what they've.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Done, which is really be on the verge of ruining
in this country. And that's how I felt, honestly, Suter.
I felt like this election, if we say we didn't
when this it literally was over. She talked about it,
Kamo talked about trying to you know, put take strings
on social media and silencing First Amendment, and Elon thank god,
(13:37):
and he was like, you lose your first Amendment, you
lose that breathing.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
So I think what really did's offer Bollan.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Here, Stay tuned We've got more with Sage Steel, But
first let me tell you about my partners at IFCJ.
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, wishes you a
blessed Thanksgiving as you gather with your families, grateful for
the blessings that God has given us all. But let's
also remember those who are facing unbelievable hardship in need
of food, fellowship, and hope. That includes the people of Israel,
(14:06):
who are threatened daily by attacks from enemies on all sides.
And during these hard times, Israelis are thankful to the
Fellowship for food and basic assistance, truly life saving aid
when the rest of the world seems to have turned
its back on them. Your gift of twenty five dollars
will help provide a food box to an elderly Jew
or a Jewish family who is suffering an indsperate need
(14:28):
of the gift. A gift of one hundred will help
provide four of these life saving food boxes this Thanksgiving.
Please consider standing with Israel and the Jewish people. Go
to support IFCJ dot org to make a gift right now.
That's support IFCJ dot org, or you can call to
give at eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ that's
(14:49):
eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
Now stay tuned. We've got more after.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
This, and everybody played a special.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
I look at what you did to come out and
just talk about the fact that you wanted to have
the freedom to speak about your views and not fear
of being fired, not fear backlash. I think that all
of an elon what he did buying x and creating
this platform for us to actually expose and then the
Twitter files, that was just, I mean, mind blowing when
(15:21):
you actually dissect what has happened in the last four years.
But it had to happen. And that is where to
me my faith and my like the when you see
God working in real life and how amazing it is
to watch how God works. Because I remember the absolute
devastation of the twenty twenty election and so many people
(15:42):
saying to me, how could God put this lunatic, this
this terrible person into office. I'm like, hey, God has
a plan. I got to hand it to him. I'll
trust him. I don't know what he's doing, but he's
got a plan. But what you just said, how would
he have ever known? How would he have been able
to look back and say I made mistakes the first
time by not having not vetting correctly, not firing.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
People fast enough.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
If he had just gone through eight full years, he
had to have the pause.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
God has a good plan, always a good plan.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Oh I'm so glad that you brought that up, because
it's so true. And that's why I am one of
MENTII who got emotional when he won Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
That's when I was like, oh my god, this is
actually this is actually happening. But I've said this several
times too around the same page.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
We had to go through the last four years because
people kind of felt it brewing. You can go back
to twenty sixteen and when Trump was elected and the
hatred that was beginning to bru and all of sudden
it was okay to call people a nazi. But then
on the other side, if you said men don't belong
on women's sports, then you know, watch out. You deserve
to be fired as well. But we got to the
brink with so many things that were going to devastate
(16:55):
this beautiful country. I think people had to be pushed
pay See, there's a couple of us who you know,
only years ago, a couple of years ago said no more.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
We're not going to remain silent.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
But for the rest of America, look at the red
wave on that beautiful map right now, Look at the
number of people who came out first time voters. Look
at what he did with the black vote, historic with
suburban women, which was totally different than the past several
elections with Hispanics, people needed to be pushed. Unfortunately, now
(17:27):
the key is how do we make sure it does
not happen again?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
To me, prayer has done.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Such a big deal, and just with my tiny, tiny park,
which has been the biggest honor to play this small
role which just happened organically. When I first talked to you,
which was I think August of twenty twenty three, when
I first left ESCN, I was in a different place.
I was scared to doubt. I didn't know what I
wanted to do, and I literally just.
Speaker 7 (17:51):
The more I've given up and said, God, I got nothing,
it has been so clear, and that's been beautiful to
be to be on the campaign trail and talk to
women and men.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
This woman came out to be at the airport the
other day in tears and she said, because of you,
I spoke up, and that brought me to tears because
I thought, what if I had lived in my fear,
and which would have been easier and safer and smarter
in some ways, and I would have had more money
in my pocket for sure.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
But that's a god thing, and I'm so grateful that
I finally gave it up and just listened to him.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
And that's what I think so many people are trying
to figure out right now. I mean even Morning Joe
going tomar a Lago. I find that hilarious because I
think it's the opposite though. I think it's we're going
to lose a lot of money. What do we do
to try to claw that money back? And so it's
funny to see how on the right people left the
(18:46):
money to have the freedom. On the left, people are
holding on to the money and trying to figure out
if they should let go of the craziness, how far
can they let it go. But they don't let it
go because every single cabinet pick that comes out, they
just go nuts over these people.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
The insults continue to fly.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
You can't look at Sean Duffy's history as a congressman
and everything he's done. You have to look at the
fact that what umpteen years ago he was on Real World.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
You know, like it's so crazy to me, Wow, it is,
but I haven't thought of it.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
You said that you're so right about leaving the money
in order to stand up and fight back. Like we
look at we were laughing at all the numbers that
have come out about what Kamala Harris's campaign paid Oprah
Winfrey excuse not Oprah Production Company, right, or Beyonce or
(19:41):
Eminem and all these people in the meantime, you know,
we're like, what, like, if they had even offered me
a penny, I would have said no, because this is
this is not about money. This is about my heart.
This is about my kids. My twenty two year old
daughter in college was crying and want to watch the results.
She's like, Mom, I'm just too scared and I think
think you're right though the money, the Mika Brazinski, Joe
(20:03):
Scarborough like again, I can't. They were so next level nasty.
It's one thing to disagree and to push back on
Republicans conservatives about policies, aboulcohol, Trump about whatever. It's another
thing to go to the levels that they chose to
go to. Every single day, even after he got stopped,
(20:24):
we got we gotta stop all this nasty rhetoric, and
after a week they went right back to it. So
that's where I need. I need some meditation, some prayer
and then that, because yes, we'll welcome you. But to me,
they had.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
No other choice, especially as rich.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Thank I mean, so they better go kiss this butt
and ask for forgiveness eve though they're not gonna admit
that because.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
They're being laughed at right now for being so so
law and so hateful and so hypocritical.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Well, and I love these posts where people are like,
oh my gosh, they're actually losing viewers because they went
to mar A Lago. I'm like, they're losing viewers left
and right, Like this is a.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Show that is bleeding out.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
They're not going to Trump because they care about Trump
or because they care about about their viewers, because they
care about their own lifestyle, and they're trying to figure
that out right now. I sort of see this as
the leftist media in general is bleeding out at the moment,
they are still trying to push I mean, Jen Soak,
I kind of love to just bask in the glow
(21:28):
of her sadness. Right now because she is like desperately
trying to put together why Trump is still a problem,
and when no one's with you, no one's with you.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Stop it and see the very smart woman like what
are you doing? I would think strategically she would have
softened several weeks or months ago, frankly when you look
at the numbers, et cetera. But I guess they were
too dug in at that point.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
They've been bleeding viewers for a very long time.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
And I think credit to the American people for finally
see through the crap, and that thanks to people like
you and independent journalists who are out there telling the
truth every single day.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Because after a while, all you got to do is
open your eyes. This is not rocket science. And what they're.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Feeding you versus what you actually hear him saying, and
how they misconstrue words and context. It isn't just wrong,
it's so detrimental to our future. So they are desperate,
But I put myself in their shoes. At what point
would I go online? You know, as her Don Lemon,
I don't know he's on Twitter now, but just to say.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
You know what I messed up?
Speaker 3 (22:35):
I was wrong, or just say Listen, I'm gonna let
by gone see by gones.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
He is my president and I'm going to support him.
That's what I did starting way back in oh eight.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
I didn't vote for a Voma one time, and it
was like, I don't like his policies, I don't like
what he stands for. I don't like him, but I
respect him because I respect the office and because.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
I love our country. More so, I wonder if these
people are capable of doing that. What do you think is.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
That just a furs Stay tuned for more of my
conversation with Sage Steel, But first, let me tell you
about Saber. With daylight savings behind US crime rates tend
to rise. You've heard us talk about the Saber home

did you know that Saber also offers a full line

(23:24):
They're backed by Sabers Maximum Strength Guarantee. They are the

out alone, a wife, a daughter, a sister, or a friend.
(23:46):
And with shorter daylight hours, you need to ensure they
remain alert, you check in often, and they need to
carry reliable protection. Equip your daughter for campus life with

(24:27):
When you had Jillian Michaels on your show, I kept
hearing all this stuff and for years we had been
doing research on what's in our food. And one of
my relatives had cut food dies out of her daughter's
diet because she was having ticks.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
They are all gone.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
After the food dies are cut out.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
And I hear this RFK stuff and I'm like, okay,
but you know, there's a lot of noise around him,
and should I trust that? But then you have Jillian
michaels On, and I watched that episode and I honestly
was like in tears watching that episode because I'm like,
here's a woman that I really trust, I really respect,
who has fought really hard for people's health, nothing else.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
That's her goal is to get people healthy.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
And she's telling you this stuff, and I'm like mind blown,
and I think, what if? What if we reduce the
amount of deadly disease in our country? You know, I'm
a cancer survivor. My dad died of cancer. I look
at this and I see all these kids that are obese,
and I'm like, what if there are so many lobbyists
(25:27):
that are so corrupt and such a deep state that
can be broken into and broken apart that we can
see change. And then then will those people have to say, Wow,
they really they really were here for the people.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Yeah, well, I don't know. I hope so.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
But I likened back to Philivin and the vaccine mandates
that got me in trouble is for just picking up
about the mandate under my former employer Disney and ESPN
even though I complied in a devastating, you know, decision
in order to keep my job, they really come back
and acknowledge that no, so will they do.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
This maybe, I mean, maybe they'll come back on it.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
But because at the end of the day, I would
hope our kids, their future, their health is the utmost
importance aside from Saty because we're not SATs and no
one's help is even gonna matter. The other part of
that Talentstation with Jillian and thank you for watching. It
was such a magical episode for me because of her strength.
When Jillian, I asked her, what is it about California?
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Why did you leave?
Speaker 3 (26:30):
And she's like, Okay, let me tell you why. As
a woman, a gay woman, you know all the things,
a Jewish woman, and I have a black child and
a Hispanic child and all of the things.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
And she's like, if I'm.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
Leaving an ultimate liberal, maybe you guys have fill on
the blank taken things too far.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
That went viral.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Because she spoke for so many people who are classic liberals,
and that's fine, but you take it too far, and
she spoke for so many So I hope that people
pay attention and look at you, look at California. I
think that that's too far gone. I mean, and I'm
an optimist. I'm a glass apple person, but I think
(27:12):
that they have made their bread and they refuse to
acknowledge it. But I that's why I was raised theater,
and I feel like you are too where Okay, I'm
not always going to be right. You know, I'm going
to make a mistake, but I'm going to own it
and go forward because we're all learning. Jillian actually admitted.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Which it's sad that we have to say that. She
admitted that she voted.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
For Donald Trump.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Her wife is a daunched Republican conservative, and I know
how much she grappled with that because it goes to
guess what she had always believed.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
But Jillian's not alone.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
When you look at the facts, when you look at
the numbers, there comes a point in time where you
can't deny it anymore. So then you just have a
decision to make her studies her work and RFK.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
I mean, it's changed me a lot the way I
look everything.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
When I stopped for the and the grocery store for myself,
and I believe that's probably one of the biggest reasons
why Donald Trump won. It put him over the top
because RFK and I saw him at UXC and I
just thanked him because when I interviewed him in my
show earlier in May, I thought there's no way to
know he would ever come to his side. But that's
(28:23):
also it takes courage to do what he did. It
takes courage to do it, Tulsea gabbardt and Elon Musk
to put aside your preconceived notions, look at the facts,
and then.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Vote for what is best for our country.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
And I believe RFK and you know the Jillians of
the world actually helped to save us well.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
And for him, what a journey, a god journey too,
because here you are, you can't even compete in the
Democrat primary. You get cut off from your own party,
and you're going, wait a minute, why I want to
do good things? And then God has this amazing plan
because I agree with you, alone, we don't win this
united we win.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
And that's how it went. All it was united.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Donald Trump won when he came around as a team
with other people, and that's what the country wants. The
country to me. That is such a referendum on the
Democrat Party. It's like, this is what this is what
the country wants. They don't want a party, they don't
want a person. They're not looking for a platform. They
are looking for unity to come around people. And that's
(29:23):
what the United States has always been. So that's what
I wanted to say to you. I wanted to say,
I'm just so thankful for what you do every day
because you did step away from something that for you
personally was bigger, but you gave us something that was
so much more powerful for the rest of the country
because you've elevated these voices and because of you elevating
those voices, people understood what it meant for Donald Trump
(29:46):
to have these people around him, to have the tausis,
to have the rfks, to have these people coming together,
and what that meant for us personally. So I believe
that even if the leftist media doesn't come around and say, wow,
now we've learned because we see that great things have happened,
it doesn't matter because there's people like you, and now
people will move out of the leftist media and they'll
(30:07):
say I want to hear from the voices that I trust.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
So I just wanted to say thank you. I really
appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
Don't make me cry.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
My mascara is really good today, although I need some powder.
I think, listen, that means a lot coming from you,
because you've been doing this for a long time.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
I literally didn't mean to do this. I didn't plan it.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Which is maybe the beautiful thing about it for me personally.
And you know, you have three kids in college who
are affected when their mom speaks up or when their
mom posts certain things. And we've had a lot of long,
sometimes tough conversations. But I hope that their mom's decision
helps them to not wait as long.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Why am I crying?
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Wait as long to stand up, you know, and to
be true to yourself because I knew I was going
to be fine.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
You know, somewhere I'll.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Figure out arner paycheck again, I figure where my friends are.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
They're not. But if we stay silent, man, it's costly.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
And I just don't want our youth of today to
wait like I felt like I had to to keep
a job.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
I did in order to keep a job.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
So maybe deeper than this, right, the corporations will listen
and stop being hypocrites. I love seeing the DEI stuff
literally being assed across the country and colleges and universities.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
My youngest daughter goes to Ole Miss. I was at
the big Ole Miss Georgia game.
Speaker 6 (31:35):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
We could have for a go or so, and I
had so many parents come up and say to me
what you just said. And it's overwhelming because I didn't.
I didn't.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
I wasn't trying to, you know, have a huge effect.
I just knew that I couldn't do it anymore. To
be quiet, and then to be on the ground and
to like Tulci and I and dan Ka Patrick went
to North Carolina. We were on the ground the day
before the election before we saw you in Grand Rapids
with these hurricane victims of people that just feel so
forgotten and so alone thanks to our government, you know,
(32:06):
and how FEMA failed them. And it changed me, honestly,
Tutor like, I'm trying to find a way to help
now because it's just so much bigger than all of us,
and it does take ability.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
Again I joke earlier, I'm serious.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
In some ways, I'm not going to forget what the
hatred that these people led with, but I would love
to welcome them, not saying we have to agree, but
just to practice what you preach and be truly tolerant
and accepting of everybody.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
That's the diversity.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
It's diversity of thought that they have refused to acknowledge
and support.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
So I know you are.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
We're going to keep pushing on this because really we're
just we're kind of just beginning. There's a lot of
work that has to be done beginning January twentieth. And
it's awesome that there's a lot more people now who
aren't afraid and it feels kind of good.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Yeah, that was very good, and it is because of
people like you. It's a whole group of people that
came out and said I will no longer be silent,
and it is.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
It comes with a lot of.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Bravery, a lot of faith, and honestly, there is a
glow around you that people see and that has drawn
people to you. So before I let you go, how
do people find your podcast? Because I want them to
be able to enjoy it. It's just so good.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Thank you. It's just the stage feel show. It's funny.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
I went on hiatus as I got asked to do
a little bit more at the campaign, so I haven't
done any episodes.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
I'm about to take two right now.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
I just had to let it go and go to
North Carolina and Pennsylvania and Michigan and Georgia.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
We were in all the battleground states and whatever. Lord's
Trump said, Hey can you come?
Speaker 3 (33:43):
I'm like absolutely, So I just put it to the side,
and now it's coming back with some really cool guests
starting like immediately, and I'm excited. So on YouTube, Instagram, wherever,
all of the what do I say, tutor, United States?
Speaker 4 (33:57):
All the places it was.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Oh, every place, every place on social media you can
find me. You check it out out where all the
podcasts are absolutely what it is. I'm glad you put
it on hold because we needed you, and I'm glad
it's coming back and now you'll have all of the
guests you've.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Been traveling the country. It'll be the place to be.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
So if you are looking for information, go to find
the Sage Deal show. It's going to be amazing. Sage Deal,
thank you so much for coming on today.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
Will you come down to Florida and be on my show? Absolutely? Medick.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah, you will have to tear me away. I will
be I will win there. Yeah, exactly. Well, and we've
had this weird fall.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
I was just saying it's like sixty degrees here in Michigan,
and I know I'm gonna have all the climate people like, no,
that's what we told you, but it has been really
I'm like, I feel like that. I am like, whoa,
it's almost like we live in California now, oh right, nod.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
Don't say California. Say for it and just come visit me.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
I will. Sounds good. That's a plan. That's your plan.
