Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of The Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. Welcome in everybody to the Tuesday edition
of The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, your one
stop shop for sanity. As the insane, the irrational, the
authoritarian are swarming all around us all the time. You
just come here and hang with me, Hang with Clay.

(00:22):
We're gonna make it all makes sense. The economic situation
not gonna lie to you. It's gonna be getting rough.
Got some rough stuff ahead of us. Not good, but Biden, yes,
not good, and Biden is angry at you for thinking
it's not awesome. This is what we've gone to. Now.
Biden's going full get off my law on you because

(00:44):
the economy's great, not so much. He was in Philly
today speaking in an a fl Cio convention Philly. By
the way, another story going on in Philadelphia we can
touch on later and we will, is that there's an
effort of food to remove Larry Krasner, now the disc
attorney there. These guys are going to get removed one

(01:05):
after another. They need to all fall like dominoes. And
honestly this they're going to replace them with Democrats they're
not going to replace them with Republicans, but at least
replace them with Democrats who are not completely out of
their minds and are trying to legalize crime, which is
effectively what progressive prosecutors have done. We'll talk about that
in a little bit. I mean, the big thing today
is just you know, yesterday, when we were on air

(01:26):
with you, talking to you all across the country, there
was I think the recognition that this economy, the inflation number,
everything that we've seen hasn't even hit its most painful
economically speaking, it's most painful part that there's more coming,
and that the Biden administration has no answers, no way
of turning this stuff around. Obviously, in fact, they deny

(01:50):
that they got us into the mess in the first place.
The FED is expected to raise rates tomorrow by seventy
five basis points. Maybe it might be point it might
be fifty basis points. It's either point seventy five or
point five, depending, but I think it'll be a seventy
five basis point rate increase. That's the biggest rate increase

(02:13):
we will have seen out of the FED since I
think nineteen ninety four. Certainly almost where growing on basically
thirty years, and that's because they realize inflation is not
under control, it's likely to get worse. And the price
index for producers, this is something else that everyone needs
to be very aware of. Wholesale prices rose producer prices

(02:36):
have risen considerably, which means that there's going to be
more price increases for consumers. You on the way, think gas, milk,
all that's expensive. Now just wait, it's gonna get worse. Meanwhile,
Joe Biden wants you to know it's great doing a
bang up job. You're how to talk about Biden months

(02:57):
to spend more on schools and all this. Guess what
He's going to create a deficit, Ladies and gentlemen this year.
By the end of the fiscal year, we will have
cut the federal deficit by another one point six trillion
dollars in one year. One year. So when they come

(03:18):
to you and talk about big spenders, let them know
almost two trillion dollars we're not always do. I don't
want to hear anymore of the lives about reckless spending.
We're changing people's lives and because of the facts, this
year we're delivering the biggest dropping deficit in the history
of United States of America. You can't break. I mean,

(03:42):
first of all, it's crazy, Clay. I mean, listening to
that makes my brain hurt because it's so dumb. The
reason why the spending is dropping is because we spent
one point nine trillion dollars that was unnecessary on COVID
relief as soon as he got into office. And then

(04:03):
we also spent, by the way, with only Democrat support
so far as I remember. And then I think we
made a bad decision in buck You and I said
that we didn't think it was a very good decision
when we spent an additional whatever it was, one point
two trillion dollars on infrastructure. The reason why the amount
that the federal government is spending is declining is because

(04:26):
Joe Biden's build Back Better five trillion dollars that he
wanted to spend was rejected by all Republicans, as well
as Joe Mansion and Kirsten Cinema. So he's bragging now
about the fact that his policies all failed to such
an extent that finally people in the United States government
Republicans said, you can't stop spending money like a drunken sailor.

(04:51):
And that's why the deficit has come down, because we
spent so outrageously in his first year in office. There's
dishonesty in every major talking point that this White House
is using right now because they're desperate. There's dishonesty in
the we've created eight million jobs. Comparing where we are
economically to where we were in the absolute depths of

(05:15):
the COVID lockdown is a bsmetric, and everybody knows it.
He didn't create eight million jobs. The government just ceased
enforcing the cessation of millions of jobs. And beyond that,
Clay to your point about the about the spending, um,
we might have some sailors listing, So I don't want

(05:36):
to say drunken sailors because you know why the sailors
drive away. I'm not even blaming a sailor. I've got
some marine buddies they could kick back. Is a big deal.
I mean, look, if I'd been out to sea for
all the time and I couldn't spend my money otherwise,
I wouldn't blame a drunken sailor for spending it. Like
imagine what the president doing it. Imagine if you had
a friend who was running into debt every month, ten

(05:59):
thousand dollars on their credit card. I'm running up a
ten thousand dollars balance month after month, month after month.
And then they come to you and they say, what
are you talking about. I'm not overspending. This month, only
went five thousand dollars over And so you say, well, yeah, buddy,
but you know you're one hundred thousand dollars in debt.
That's not exactly something to celebrate. That is what Joe
Biden is doing. He's the guy who's saying, well, I

(06:20):
only overspent by, you know, half of what I did
last month or last year, and acting like he's some
kind of hero. That's actually such a great analogy because
if you had a friend who was spending money like that,
and then that friend bragged, hey, I've cut my spending
more than you have, You're like, yeah, but I've been
in my budget the whole time. That's not really something

(06:40):
to brag about. This is what Biden is trying to do.
It's exactly what explaining. He's just trying to create these
frameworks where it's not a disaster. And if you want
to really get a sense as to how delusional. It
can get this White House. I'm just gonna say this,
They're delusional. I mean, this is now a widespread because
it's just like mask policy Clay, which I love to

(07:00):
double down on now because you know, people are still
I'm not done with them yet. The people that are
still in double masking, they'd rather continue to live in
the fantasy than except that they were fooled, that they
weren't as wise, they weren't as intelligent as they thought
they were. And that's true. I think of a lot
of Democrat Biden voters, it is obvious this guy is

(07:20):
a joke and a disaster. We all see it. Everyone
listening to this knows, even the Democrats listening to us now.
And yet the White House has to come up with something.
So what do they do? Live in an alternate universe.
Here is the new White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean Pierre,
who is telling everybody, no, you don't understand. We've got
inflation right where we want it. First of all, the

(07:43):
American Rescue Plan met the moment, and it has put
us in a place where the American people feel can
actually we can take on inflation. What I mean by
that is we've we've seen growth, right, as I mentioned,
more than eight million jobs, and now we're transitioning into
a steady, a stable growth. The President actually wrote an
op ed to discuss that himself, lay out his plan

(08:05):
on how we're going to bring down inflation, and so
that's really important. In order to take this on, we've
got to have some being a good historic economic place,
which is where we are right now, a good historic
We're in a good historic economic place where our choices
are rapidly rising inflation or full on recession. Clay, that's

(08:26):
where we are. Is she the dumbest White House spokesperson
that has ever existed in the history of the country,
Because look, I know we went after a little red
lyinghood the former spokesperson who's now moved on to MSNBC,
And I know there have been dumb White House spokespersons before, right,

(08:47):
I'm not pretending that this is like uniquely dumb, but
it feels to me like, again, I've made this argument before.
But it's a great book. Team of Rivals, Doris Karrent's
good one about Abraham Lincoln in the cabinet he put
together in eighteen sixty. Joe Biden is the worst president
in any of our lives, and probably the dumbest president

(09:07):
in any of our lives, and maybe the worst communicator
in any of our lives. Like every box that you
can check for worst, Joe Biden has done it, and
he's managed somehow to pick the worst and dumbest people
to represent him in his administration. We have a team
of incompetence the likes of which our nation has ever

(09:28):
seen before. I mean, you just heard her try to
answer a question, and we got another cut that I'm
gonna play for you in the next segment where she
was asked about the baby formula shortage. Buck, have you
heard this yet? Oh? Yes, I mean, and these are
not questions that are unexpected, right, Like, It's not like
she's going in there and suddenly somebody saying, hey, could

(09:50):
you break the Prime Minister of Hungary is on the
spot or something right, or even like, hey tell me
the five worst trades in the history of sports in
your life? You know, like you're scrambling. You have no
real answer for it, because that's not her job. She's
being asked every day about the issues that every single

(10:10):
one of our listeners is considering that all of you
out there are prepared to have an opinion on and
she can't answer him. Buck. I mean, it's an embarrassment.
And increasingly it feels and I've been making this argument
for a while now, but every day gets more valid.
It feels like the Biden administration is tanking for the
overall number one pick in a sports context where the

(10:33):
incompetence is the goal. On some level, I've never seen
anything like it where they're so bad. I think we
have to leave open the possibility that there is no strategy.
They're actually just this dumb and incompetence. I think that
that has to I don't believe that there's some look
at what they're doing with this the January sixth and
all these things that we knew were coming. None of

(10:53):
this stuff is is gonna make any any difference. And
what they're really seeing right now is there decision making.
I mean, this is what you can talk about different
you know, you can talk about how oh, in the
housing meltdown, for example, Bush got realistically, honestly and the
Republicans got far more blame for the housing meltdown than

(11:14):
they deserved because anybody who understood the policies of Fannie
Mae and Freddie Mack, and it stretches all the way
back to you know, redlining and getting rid of redlining,
and there are just decades of housing policy that had
changed and had become very much more social justice oriented.
And then it was of course commoditized by Wall Street

(11:35):
and they got greedy and everything else. But Clay that
was decades in the making. The two thousand and eight meltdown.
You look at Joe Biden comes into office, You look
at the two trillion in spending boom, inflation takes off.
You're gonna tell me that's a coincidence. People, you look
at Democrats putting their progressive prosecutors in the major cities
all across America, and the thirty percent increase in homicides

(11:55):
nationwide in twenty twenty, You're gonna tell me that's a coincidence.
This is cause and effect, which is why it's so
damaging in Democrats. People know that they're being lied to.
I don't think there's any doubt. And what we got
used to was there was consequence free behavior, and that
was the whole idea. I don't think we can underrate
modern monetary theory, this idea, which was embraced by Joe

(12:19):
Biden in the early days of his administration that you
could just spend as much money as you possibly wanted
and there would be no economic impact. Well, the economic
impact is real, and every single one of you are
feeling it all day long. And the people who are
advocating for Joe bidention are the dumbest people in the country,
the least qualified and able. And I really think, I mean,

(12:42):
I'm gonna play this cut for you in a sec
about the baby formulas shortage, and you're gonna hear it,
and you're gonna think to yourself, how is it possible
that this is the person in charge of trying to
explain the Biden Administration's decisions to America. Just wait. In
the meantime, veries an AT and T T Mobile. They're
charging you a premium fee every month for data you
don't use. You're throwing money away you don't have to

(13:04):

Buck Sexton show. By the way, I'm about to hop
a fly to come up to Buck's hometown of New
York City. We are celebrating the one year anniversary of
the radio show. We'll be talking about that more later

(14:07):
in the week. We wanted to thank you for helping
us set an all time podcast record in May. An
absolute ton of you, millions and millions of you downloading
tens of millions of you. We can now say downloading
some of that data will be out. I think as
a part of the one year anniversary, you just wanted
to say thank you continue to help us set a
record in June. We are winning so many of these

(14:28):
battles for sanity that we fight every single day because
of you guys, and also all of our fabulous affiliates
all over the country. Can find Buck and myself anywhere
that podcasts are hosted. Search out Clay Travis, search out
Bucks Sex. Didn't go subscribe, join the fight for daily
freedom and sanity? All right, I was saying earlier, I
really do believe this. I think Joe Biden has put

(14:49):
together the dumbest and most incompetent administration in the history
of modern American politics. And that goes whether you were
talking about Biden himself, who certainly is domin incompetent, or
whether you're talking about Kamala Harris, whether you're talking about
Merek Garland, whether you are talking about Health and Human
Services secretary. I mean, we could run through the whole list.

(15:10):
All of them are incompetent. But I thought this answer
personifies on many levels the incompetence. So yesterday in the
White House Press briefing, I actually think that they managed
to get dumber when they moved on from our prior
friend who was the initial spokesperson for Joe Biden, and
when you actually a Jensaki. Of course, when you listen

(15:33):
to this, Okay, I just want you to listen to this.
This feels like a kid who is getting called on
that hasn't done the basic level of homework. And if
you wonder how did we ever get to the point
where we have a baby formula shortage in America, it's
because the dumbest and most incompetent people are representing us
right now and they aren't able to handle the simplest

(15:53):
and most important of tasks. And so I want you
to listen to this. It's not unexpected that people even
that baby formula shortage is not is real, and many
of you can't find it. It's not unexpected that this
question could arise. I want you to listen to this
incompetent response. And what you're not going to see is
Karen Jean Pierre goes into the press briefing with a

(16:16):
binder that is like a thousand pages so she can
look up the answer to any question. She can't actually
answer it herself, she has to tab to it. And
then just read directly out of talking points. I've never
seen anything like this before. Certainly Jensaki didn't do it.
But listen, find two questions on baby formula. So first,
what is the White House? What does the latest update

(16:36):
the White House has received on the current formula situation
across the country? Yeah, let me see if I have
anything new for you on that, because I think it's
been a couple of days since we have asked me
to ask that question. Okay, I don't have anything new.

(16:57):
I know we made some announcements last week. I just
don't have them in front of me. But if you
want to come back and we'll talk through the things
that we have been able to do in the past,
the most recent activities that we've done. Clay, I got
something new on the baby formula shortage. How did we
get to a place where there was a shortage. There's
a few things that people should know, and we'll talk

(17:19):
about this and when we come back. It involves the
federal government being incompetent, the Biden administration being asleep at
the wheel, you know, naptime for Biden, sippy cup, blanket
over the knees. You know how it goes Biden administration
not actually paying attention, but also lockdown policy very much
resulted in the people parents have been scrambling all over

(17:42):
the country because of fauciism to find baby formula. I'll
make this all make sense in just a moment. Trust
me on this one. If your business has five or
more employees and you manage to survive COVID, you're eligible
to receive a payroll tax rebate of twenty six thousand
dollars per employee. This is a loan and there's no payback. Instead,
it's a refund of your taxes. You've likely not heard

(18:05):
of this before, but the refund money is there. Tax
attorneys at getrefunds dot com know how to get it
for you. Go to get refunds dot com. Their tax
attorneys are specialists in this little known payroll tax refund program.
They do all the work with no charge upfront and
simply share a percentage of the cash that they get
for you. Businesses of all types can qualify, including those

(18:27):
who took PPP, nonprofits, even those that had an increase
in sales. Get this. Their average client receives four hundred
thousand dollars back. Getrefunds dot Com has helped ten thousand
companies receive over one billion dollars in cash rebates. They
can help you too. Just go to Getrefunds dot Com,
click on qualify me and answer a few questions. That's

(18:48):
getrefunds dot Com, No risk, high reward, Get refunds dot Com.
Clay and Buck show going strong eight hundred two eight
two eight eight two on those you want to chat
with us about the Biden economy, He's got a big
revelation today for all of you out there. If you're
wondering who is responsible for what's going on, depends on

(19:11):
the day. Sometimes they try, Biden himself will try the
economy is actually doing really well. You just don't know it.
Eight million jobs we created, blah blah blah. And then
they realize no one's buying that, so then they try
something else. Biden also said in Philadelphia today at his
speech to the a fl CIO that you know who's
really to blame for this. I grew up in a

(19:32):
household not far from here, Claimant and Wilmington, where the
price of a gallon of gasoline went up. Was a
conversation at the dinner table. It mattered, It mattered, to
my working family. It mattered the price of food went up.
The problem is Republicans and Congress are doing everything they
can so stop my plans to bring down cost an

(19:55):
ordinary families. It's the Republicans in Congress are responsible for
the economy because you see Clay, it's not that Biden
spent too much money, it's that he hasn't spent enough
money to bring down costs for everybody. I mean this,
I'm not kidding. Joe Biden would fail intro high school economics,

(20:20):
not even college level one on one he would fail.
You're like pre econ course that you would take it.
I took when as a freshman in high school. He
has no understanding of anything. And also I hate this
or in our Hammer or at the terrible talking to
the folks about the working man and all that. He's
been given the same malarkey speech for forty years and

(20:41):
it's really getting weirder and weirder because and you make
fun of this too, but his inflection points of when
he decides to say something loud and when he decides
to say something quiet seem totally not connected to anything, right,
like even the words that he's inflecting. It feels like

(21:02):
he's been told you can't speak in the same tone,
so you need to have voice inflection, and then he
just randomly says so you know, you know, it's like,
what is he doing. It's so weird, and everything he's
saying is so transparently false. It's it's a form of desperation. Buck.
It's like it's like closing time at the bar, and

(21:22):
Joe Biden's trying to pick up whoever's left at the bar,
and that's like basically his base now, because it is
I don't even know even is there anyone at this
point who is an actual Joe Biden supporter. I don't
mean a Democrat, because there are Democrats who will say, okay,
well he's still better than Trump, right, that's what they're

(21:43):
I mean, there are a lot of neurotic, irrational people
in the country class. So I think the answer is
there are still people that they believe the January There
there are people who believe the January six stuff, who
believes I don't even think those people think Biden is
doing a good job. It's just not as bad as
Trump would Hell, you're saying, there anyone who's excited about
no one there's actually any Biden supporters now, and it's

(22:05):
just people who are willing to stay committed to Democrat dogma.
But there's nothing you could point to and think, oh,
this guy's got got things in working order, he's doing
a good job. So I promised that we would uh
quickly dive into as well. The remember Karine Jean Pierre,
you know, fumbling through the fold. There's no idea about
the baby formula shortage. It's still ongoing, still a baby
formula shortage, and has also been pointed out today there's

(22:28):
apparently a women's tampon. I'll just say there's a tampon
short I was because yes, as a sanitary NAPKT is
a different thing, right, it is a tampon. Why way,
if you're a suburban woman, what they have run out
of baby formula and they've run out of tampons. I
don't know how you could vote for the Biden. The

(22:50):
two things, probably if you're a woman and you're like,
I gotta go to the grocery or I gotta go
to the convenience store right now, probably the two things
that you would must. It's tough to it's tough to
tough to replace those things, I would think again the
two things that you must have, yes, baby formula and
tampons they've run out of. And the Biden Democrats want

(23:11):
you to understand though, for all the people who menstroy
it out there that Democrats, that brilliant Joe Biden is
going to make all of your costs go down somehow
while they're all just going up. But on the on
the baby formula issue specifically, CBS has a report on
this that there's been some information that's come out recently

(23:31):
that the neurotic freak out lockdown mentality led the FDA
during the twenty twenty pandemic lockdown, which remember was pushed
by experts that Biden elevated the only experts we had
at the time in the CDC. I mean, it was
effectively the health deep state that was calling for all

(23:52):
this stuff, and it was a terrible idea what they did,
and they're awful, and people should understand that the FDA
only inspected three of America's twenty three infant formula plants
in twenty twenty. Associated Press did the actual investigative work
on this. Those inspections, Clay usually happened once a year,
so there were twenty baby formula factories that were never

(24:16):
inspected by the FDA the entire you're in guess. Well,
when they finally got around to it, they found issues
like issues at the Abbot plant, bacteria contamination, standing water,
you know whatever. FDA inspectors are finding, that's a problem
in these facilities, and so the FDA, because it was
so terrifying, they couldn't do. This was not considered during

(24:36):
the pandemic, not considered a critical a critical task baby
formula safety and health. And then when they finally got
around to doing their job, there was a shutdown of
a facility and the Biden administration figured, no big deal,
We're not in charge of baby formula. It was just

(24:57):
a series of incompetence and errors all the way through,
with the FDA, CDC pushing lockdowns, Biden then finding out
that this factory gets shut down and no one does
anything for months and they still can't even answer basic
questions about it. This is and again I just would
say for anyone out there, suburban women are going to

(25:20):
decide a lot in twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four.
You're talking to your girlfriends, you're talking to your mom, friends.
You guys are sitting around. Would anyone have believed that
the Biden administration would not be able to get baby
formula and tampons on the shelves? I just I mean again,
not an expert, I mean it's it's time for another
toilet paper shortage apparently, because that's what's next here. Not

(25:42):
an expert, but I can't think of anything that women
would go to a convenience store or grocery store or
whatever more in need of than tampons and baby formula
shortage buck And that's this is where we are. And
by the way, the fact that they won't take ownership
of it, I mean again, I just are we gonna
have to fly in tampons like we had to fly

(26:03):
in baby formula? This is a real world. We should
be like you know the guys and gals and Shark
Tank who sit there and they hear the pitch from
the people and often they're just like, wait, hold on
a second. So you want me to believe this is
this is? You know this is? Oh, well, do you
have any sales? No, I have no sales. You want
me to believe that if I give you a million
dollars you'll have you know, ten million in sales next
are interesting, right, based on what they want us to believe.

(26:26):
Clay Biden was saying today, if only he could spend
another five trillion, he would know his government and his
policies would know how to bring down prices all across
the board at a time. Well, not only do we
have super high prices, we have Soviet Union style shortages

(26:47):
of baby formula and tampons, and god knows what else
is coming down the line. And buck, by the way,
let's also point out that the amount of time that
the Biden administration has sped on things like if you're
five and you want to pick your gender, you're heroic, right,
I mean, that's the kind of stuff that they're having
press conferences on, press releases on, and they can't handle

(27:12):
the most basic things that would be involved in women's
in women's healthcare needs, right, I mean, just in terms
of being able to feed your baby and being able
to buy tampons. I mean, I just you can't even
satirize the stupidity and incompetence and pure ignorance of the

(27:34):
Biden administration. Right now, on nine to eleven, twenty nine
hundred and seventy seven people were killed in terror attacks
on American soil. It was one of the most painful
of moments for every American. The Tunnel of the Towers
Foundation has been supporting America's heroes and their families ever since.
When a first responder or military service member doesn't come
home and young kids are left behind, Tunnel the Towers

(27:56):
pays off their mortgage to lift the financial burden bring
their family stability. For severely injured veterans and first responders,
Tunnel the Towers builds mortgage free smart homes, enabling our
most severely injured heroes to live more independent lives. And now,
through Operation Home Base, Tunnel the Towers is gifting compact

(28:17):

(28:40):
Sexton show. I appreciate all of you hanging out with
us as we roll through the Wednesday edition of the
pro I had to think they're for a minute. All
these days, especially in the summer, when the kids are
running around like crazy and it's an absolute zoo, it's
hard for me to keep track of exactly what day
it is on a day to day basis a little
bit like Groundhog Day in the Travis household. By the way,

(29:01):
I went to go see the New Jurassic Park. Did
you go see the updated Jurassic Park version of the films?
You've seen any of these? So I'm a huge Jurassic
Park I think probably from the Michael Crichton days when
I was in grammar school. Um, I read a headline
that said this was the worst Jurassic Park of all
the Jurassic Park movies. So I am unlikely to go
see it. Are they are? Like is the Tyrannosaurus Um

(29:25):
somehow part of the of like the rod there there
is not. So I took my boys last night, Laura,
my wife, we all went to go see the New
Jurassic Park. They liked it. Um and uh. And my
boys are you know, fourteen, eleven and seven, But they
basically and they had a friend with them too. Yeah. Look,
I was fine with it. I mean, I know, it

(29:47):
wasn't like I went in thinking this is gonna be
great cinematic art, and my boys said, Dad, they're dinosaurs fighting.
How could you not love it? Right? So, I mean
for the yeah, fourteen eleven seven year old they loved that.
I thought it was fine. It's basically exactly what I
would have expected. It is not anywhere near as good
I would the original great original, I would argue a

(30:08):
very great movie for what very good and even even
the third the second that, you know, the second tier
of the Jurassic Park, the reboots or how they brought
everybody back, which was kind of cool. So they had
the original you know, Jeff Goldbloom character and the like
the Lena what I can't remember all these people's names,
but Laura Dern. They're all in it. So if you're

(30:29):
looking for a good popcorn movie, it's fine. Nowhere near
as good as Top Gun Maverick, Like, not even in
the same stratosphere, right, But my boys liked it. If
you're looking to entertain them over the weekend, it's gonna
be like one hundred and fifty degrees everywhere, and you
want to go sit in a movie theater and watch one.
Your kids will probably like it. But I'm thinking about
my kids obviously a lot, because this insanity of getting

(30:50):
the COVID shot for under five years old is now
the new pitch point for the Biden administration and our
old friend doctor or Lena Wynn, who, if I remember correctly,
you didn't want people to be able to leave their
state as a part of lockdowns. She now wants you
to know, Hey, the experts say it's all going to
be fine. What are you worried about? Go get your

(31:13):
kids this under five year old COVID shot. Here it is.
I would say, look at the vaccines and the track
records thus far for all the other age groups. They
are safe and so effective. I would also say that, yes,
it's true, it's rare that children will becomes severely ill,
but if it's up to me, I want to reduce

(31:34):
the chance of something awful and rare to as low
as possible. And that's why I'm so eager to get
my kids the optimal protection that so many other people,
all of the people over age five, have been able
to enjoy. I would just want to ask doctor when
if she doesn't allow the children to leave the house.
I mean to leave the house at all. Yeah, there's

(31:54):
a thunderstorm because they could get struck by lightning. That
is a fact, that is a scientific reality. You're a
little five year old, you know, a little little Timmy
or a little Susie or whatever could be struck by lightning.
But I do not know any parent who is emotionally
well and psychologically stable who says, oh my gosh, I

(32:15):
can't walk you to the car to take you to
the grocery store. There's thunder and lightning, and you're gonna
get hit by lightning. By the way, that's all true.
My phone is blowing up. I said it was Wednesday.
You didn't even notice it's Tuesday? Did I say? Did
you say that? I said Wednesday? You say it was
some confidence, though, Clay, it's actually Tuesday. So for anybody

(32:35):
out there who was like, oh my god, I gotta
go pick up my kids. They had camp today, oh like, oh,
I miss might know it's on me. It's Tuesday. Tomorrow
will be Wednesday though. That works so but yes, like so,
the Lena win argument there that that kids under five
should get this COVID shot. First of all, we know

(32:57):
by the data book that over seven five percent. Now
if kids have already had COVID, so they already have
had this virus, they came through it fine. And I
think personally, if you are getting your under five year
old this COVID shot, I think you are in imbecile
who is not paying attention to any of the data
that is out there. Personally, you could make your own

(33:18):
decisions for your own kids. My young kids are not
getting the COVID shot. They're just not doing it. My
seven and eleven year olds zero percent chance. The kids
who get older, I understand sometimes you have to make
choices as they get to high school or college age
in order to be able to go to events that
you wanted to go to. But young kids at no
way possible. I think that we've seen this has gone

(33:41):
in full circle, where in the beginning some of us
were saying, hey, you know how we handle the flu,
which a society continues and people who are older and
at high risk get a flu shot. But by the way,
it helps not always, but you know, it's not a guarantee.
It depends on whether they get the right strain. We
should have known all along, and they completely downplayed this.

(34:03):
The scientists and the medical community has done a lot
of damage to its credibility. Or when I mean the community,
don't mean your personal physician or practitioner, but public health
experts who are at that bridge between policy and medicine
have been disastrous. And none of them admit that they
were wrong on any of this stuff. Even the things

(34:25):
that we mock and make fun of, they feel some
need to protect. Even the mask up as you walk
to your table at a restaurant so you can sit
down unmasked. You'll come across a lot of mds who say, well,
it was it was the right mentality. No it wasn't.
It was moronic. And the doctors who sat back and said, yeah,
we should do this, they were cowards and they know
it deep down. But we look at now what's going

(34:46):
on with the vaccines for kids, and I think lay unfortunately,
they're now going to try to fold this into well,
it's just like getting you know, MMR vaccines, but the vaccine,
but the virus mutates rapidly, so you're gonna have to
get It's not a one and done and it's not
highly effective and it's not even dangerous to kids. So
all that is just ignored here. But you're gonna have

(35:06):
to keep getting your kids vaccinated every year for this
and the real and they won't want to stop it
because them the year they stop vaccinating their kids will
be the year they realize why the vaccinated them for
the last four years or ten years or whatever it is.
And the scary part of this is, at some point,
are you going to treat them so much that you're

(35:28):
making a more susceptible to COVID than they otherwise would
have been. Because the thing here is we have the
data buck almost all kids have gotten it and almost
all kids are falling. Chances are your kids had it
and you didn't even know that they had it, and
now you're going to get them a shot for something
that basically is a statistical zero percent danger to them.

(35:49):
Yea omicron has become also less it's as viruses tend
to do in its mutations. It is now less lethal.
That has been widely agree upon. Everyone says, so what
are we You know it's for most people like a cold.
If that so, what are we even doing anymore? No?
I think it's one hundred percent right. And the fact

(36:11):
that we'll talk with doctor McCarry about this, by the way,
who was fantastic and what he's doing Buck is really
pretty awesome. He and a lot of other top doctors
and sciencests who haven't been afraid to actually discuss this
data have met and are working on a nine eleven
commission style report of everything that we got wrong with
COVID that they are planning on bringing out at some

(36:34):
point this summer. And I think it's going to be
revolutionary in terms of all those people who said, oh,
your opinion doesn't matter, you're not an expert, Well, a
lot of experts are about to weigh in. The way
we responded to COVID was an abject failure. We'll talk
about it next. Sleet Travis and Buck Sexton on the
