Speaker 1 (00:15):
Happy Friday, guys, what's up?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome into a new episode of the Daily Juice podcast
with me Matt Peralt. You guys can follow me across
all of my socials at Sports Talk. Matt and I
am very annoyed at having to start the podcast the
same way for three consecutive nights, and that would be
one in two, one in two, one in two. Now
we should have gone three and oh on Monday. That

(00:37):
would have been better because then we'd be very basically
flat for the week. Instead, we're in kind of a
hole here as we head towards the weekend with Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday. The good news is the hard rock bet
of the day hit again. We're now eight and four
on the hard rock bet of the day, but Rams lose,
Rams cover our fourteen to one ticket on the Hawks

(01:00):
to win. It All is looking better and better. Under
was dead blown out of the water. That was not
an undergame because the second half became an absolute shootout,
overtime and whatnot. Missouri State got housed, so they lost.
Our ball record goes to three and one. We were
due for a bowl loss there, but now is what
it is and we have the college football playoffs. You

(01:22):
guys have been asking for college football futures. Okay, I
have got two of them. I've got two plays. I'm
gonna call them value plays for us here with the bracket.
Now that we know the bracket games begin tonight with
Oklahoma and Alabama, I have a play on that game,
and then we've got two futures to get into from
a bracket perspective. Plus we'll get to an NBA bet

(01:42):
and there will be an NBA player prop on the
Betting pros app. We got to get going on our
NBA player prop, so we need to pick up some
pace here with our NBA player prop betting, so we'll
do that here tonight. It'll be available on the Betting
pros app by searching at sports Talk Match. You guys
can go there the bet on Betting pros app. Download it.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
It's free.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Go ahead and search at sports Talk Matt on the
app if you want that play, I'm due to hit
it because we've missed our last two I believe from
NBA player props, so hopefully we'll get it. We'll get
one right here for Friday. Before we begin the podcast, Pixlough,
let's remind you guys about the George Kittle signed helmet.
It's available right now to anybody who wants it. By
subscribing to the Betting Pros YouTube channel and commenting on

(02:24):
this video, that will get you in the running for
in autographed George Kittle San Francisco forty nine or Minnie
helmet thanks to our friends at Pristine Auction dot com. Subscribe, comment,
you are entered, and we'll pull the name coming up
at the end of the month. Let's start here with
Oklahoma and Alabama. This is a monster game. Look Alabama

(02:47):
on the road. My friend's daughter is in the band
for Alabama. Okay, now, unless plans changed. He told me
that alabamaa is not sending their full band, not sending
their full cheer squad to Oklahoma for this game. That

(03:08):
tells me something he wasn't implying. He just told me, like,
his daughter's a senior and they're not going so her
last game may have been the SEC championship game in
which Alabama got destroyed by Georgia. There is a lot
of interesting stuff going on in Tuscaloosa around Kelen de
Boor and whether or not he is going to entertain

(03:29):
the idea of going to Michigan. And why is the
Michigan job still open? Could it be because Kelen de
Boor wants to see how this tournament plays out? And
if Alabama loses on the road to Oklahoma, which has
happened a lot in the opening rounds, home teams have
done very well in the opening rounds of the CFP.

(03:50):
If Bama loses after losing the SEC championship and losing
in the playoffs, there could be a lot of angry
Bama fans that won't be anger have Kelln de Boor
leaps now. He's a very good coach and it would
be very detrimental if Alabama would run him to Michigan.
But it wouldn't be surprising for a guy that went

(04:10):
south after being in the Pacific Northwest and being very
successful in the Pacific Northwest going to the Deep South.
We saw it with a Cup with Auburn trying it.
I wasn't in love with the hire when they made it.
When Kelen de bor got the job, I wasn't in
love with it. And for him to jump after two years,
it puts him in the same category as Mike Price,

(04:30):
Mike Dubo's, Mike Shula you know, you know, Dennis FRANCHIONI
stayed for a couple of years. But these are all
the coaches that I covered in my five years covering
the Crimson Tide closely, going to every game both home
and away for the you know, in an RV for Alabama,
like I did, I saw just a turnstyle of coaches

(04:51):
coming in. And now it feels like Alabama is going
to start to get into that type of turnstyle. Here Oklahoma,
when they had a healthy John Matteer, they were nasty
man like they were John Mattier when he could throw,
like really throw. He he was a Heisman Trophy finalist
like Lockstock guaranteed halfway into the season, and then he

(05:13):
broke his hand and he had surgery and he came back,
and he's just really talented. When you combine him and
the best, if not one of the best defenses in
the entire country in what has been built at Oklahoma
by Brent venerables Ty Simpson, he couldn't do much in

(05:34):
the first in the first matchup, and that game was
at home in Tuscaloosa. I just don't know how from
the steamrolling to blowout, the destruction, whatever you want to
call it. Whatever description you want to make about what
Georgia did Tobama man handled is how one of my
friends put it, Georgia man handled Alabama. That suddenly they're

(05:54):
going to go play on the road in Norman, Oklahoma,
in that environment, which is a tougher environment than people realize.
I've been there. I've been there for a Bama Oklahoma game.
It's really hard to win there for anybody. It's really
hard to win. And they're going to be drunk off
their ass tonight. I think the wrong team's favored. I
gotta be honest. I just think the wrong team's favored.

(06:16):
I think Bama is overrated, and I like Alabama a lot.
I think John Matteer, as long as he does not
throw a million interceptions here in this game, I think
Oklahoma wins the game outright. I'm going to come in
and take Boomer Sooner to advance in the CFP to
beat Alabama. Take the plus one just in case, like

(06:37):
we did last night with the Rams, take the plus one.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I think it's a smart play.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Now, if you guys are looking for things to throw
down a five dollars bet on, well, you can do
so at Hard Rock bet and If it hits, you
get your winnings plus one hundred and fifty dollars in
bonus bets. Why not come in and do it with
a couple of future wagers that I'm going to give
you here In just one second, you can go to
the for You Paige, which is brand new. It recommends

(07:02):
picks based on your favorites as to who you like,
who you follow. It can help you here again, five
dollars bet any game. If you win, you get the
winnings plus one hundred and fifty bucks in bonus bets.
Hard Rock Bets got new promos daily, so check it
out with the don by downloading the hard rock Bet
app and make your first deposit today, And you could
do so with one of these two plays here Futures,

(07:25):
let's talk about the long shot, the big plus money,
the one that you could jump into that and you
can shop around in five different prices. It's just the
price I liked that I took here with Texas A
and M to win the national championship. Okay, clearly I
like A and M to win over Miami. Okay, I
do I like AM. The pros are all over A

(07:47):
and M. The public is all over Miami.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Give me A and M.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
I have been a fan of A and M here
for a while. Okay, I've been saying that I thought
the A and M was the best team in the
country for a while, and they're the seven seed. I
think Ohio State got a really raw deal here by
getting Texas A and M in the second round in Texas.
They're going to the Cotton Bowl. Okay, this is the

(08:11):
Cotton Bowl Classic. As to where this game is going
to be played, it's not on campus, mind you. Okay,
we're not going to Columbus. This is Ohio State in Texas,
with Texas A and M in their home state going
to Jerry's World to play in the Cotton Bowl. This
is a massive break for Texas A and M. It's
enemy territory. Ohio State is going into enemy territory with

(08:33):
a ferociously confident Texas A and M team. I think
A and M can beat Ohio State. I really do.
And they beat Ohio State, They're going to the Fiesta Bowl,
where they're probably going to face Georgia. Most likely they're
facing Georgia. Can A and M beat Georgia. Absolutely A
and M can beat Georgia. I mean, I don't think

(08:54):
it's like an automatic, but at eleven to one, this
is a team that. Yes, A and M lost to
Texas twenty seven to seventeen on the road. It was
a bad loss, but they didn't lose any other games
in the SEC. They didn't play Georgia okay, but they
beat Notre Dame on the road. This A and M

(09:17):
team I like, or I guess it was a neutral,
but I like this A and M team. I've liked
them for a really long time. I think this is
a big opportunity here for Mike Elko's team to kind
of put a stamp here on what their seasons has
looked like and what their team is capable of doing.

(09:38):
I just think this is time for A and M
to shine, and I think there's really good value on
Texas A and M to win the national Championship.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
I'm going to take the nineteen to one.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
It's a one unit play Texas A and M plus
nineteen hundred nineteen to one for one unit to win
the national Championship. In reality, we only need them to
get past Ohio State. If they beat Ohio State, they're
in the semi finals. We can one hundred percent start
hedging off of that play with the semi finals, because
nineteen to one gives us a huge opportunity. So if

(10:10):
you want to hold off and take just money line
against Ohio State, you can do that. But I don't
think you can get nineteen to one because if they
curb'st Miami, those odds are going to change dramatically. So
just I want it before they play Miami. And yes,
it's a little bit of a telegraph as to what
I'm going to be betting tomorrow here on the show, but
I will be taking Tech A and m tomorrow for

(10:30):
the Daily Juice podcast. Now the other is a little
bit more of a conservative play in a little bit
less risky. I mean, this is a little bit not
completely shocking, just given the way the bracket is Texas
Tech to win the National Championship. Let's talk about it.
Here's what's going to happen. Texas Tech is playing the

(10:51):
winner of James Madison and Oregon. Now, Oregon is favored
by twenty one points, but there are tons of betters
a whole lot of money on James Madison. There are
some that believe that JMU is going to knock off Oregon.
I do not believe, so I think Oregon's gonna win
the game outright. I think these teams going on the road,
I do not believe Oregon loses the game. But I'm

(11:12):
gonna wait and see about in game that play because
I'm not laying twenty one points with Oregon. That's too
high with the amount of pro money that's come in
on James Madison, I don't want to lay twenty one points.
So let's see how the game plays out. We can
end game betit here with Oregon. But I think Oregon wins.
So that means Oregon plays Texas Tech. That game will
we played in the Orange Bowl, all right, So we're
going to Florida where Texas Tech should have a huge advantage.

(11:35):
Why because Oregon is going to play ten days later
after playing at home, they got to play a game.
Texas Tech gets to sit and prep for a month
to get ready for Oregon, and then Tech goes. It's
a little bit of a travel obviously, from West Texas
to Florida down to Miami, but it's nothing compared to
where we're going from Eugene, Oregon.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Down to Tech then on to Florida to Miami. Florida.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
It's one of the farthest flights in the country you
could make to go play Texas Tech in an environment
that favors Texas Tech. Okay, this is a Southern team
playing in southern environment.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I know it's January, so it's not going to be
super hot and human, but it's still going to be
warmer than what Oregon is used to. It's wintertime in
Oregon at the moment, so the Ducks are going south
for the winter.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Literally.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
I think Tech wins that game. Okay, Texas Tech, I
think they beat Oregon. I think Texas Tech is better
than some people think here in the four seed for them.
I look, they got Indiana in the semi final in
the Chick fil A Peach Bowl because I do think
Oklahoma or Indiana they'll have a shot. If Alabama Oklahoma
wins this game, they'll have a shot to beat Indiana.
But I think Indiana wins that game. I think that

(12:40):
they have proven it that their offense with Mendoza, as
long as he's not getting fat and happy on the
Heisman Trophy banquet circuit, I think Indiana will win that game.
In the Rose Bowl because of the trip the pageantry.
I mean, Indiana fans are going to be it's it's
gonna be wild. I mean, how many Indiana fans the
whole state of Indiana is going to empty out to
go to California for the So I think Indiana wins

(13:01):
that game.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
So then it's Texas Tech against Indiana again.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
We only need Texas Tech to get to this game
and then we can hedge off of it. I would
presume Indiana, you know, probably somewhere in the neighborhood of
maybe minus six against Texas Tech, maybe mess five against
Texas Tech.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
So they're in the game.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
They're possible they could beat Indiana, and if they get
to the National championship game, we are one hundred percent
looking to hedge off of Texas Tech or just letting
it ride for that matter. You can play with it
as you want. But I think at the four seed
we'll find out how good Indiana is.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Right, I'll take the value play. Let's go Texas Tech
plus eight to fifty.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You may find some nine to one in the marketplace,
but I took eight to fifty last night one unit
play on Texas Tech plus eight to fifty to win
the National Championship.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
So two futures, two sides of the bracket.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Those two teams could meet for an all Texas National
Championship potentially. I don't think that will happen, but a
four versus seven matchup will be awesome in the National
Championship game. Again, I don't think that's going to happen,
but I think there's good value on these plays. We're
going back to Miami for the National Championship game. So
if you're looking at it from a you know, a

(14:14):
path perspective, it's not horrible when you're playing, you know,
in the Orange Bowl, if you're Texas Tech, you're playing
you know, Miami, playing in Georgia in the Peach Bowl.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Back to Miami. So that's not horrible.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Right, You're going three places and you go back to
a place where you've already played a game for a
national championship game. That's not bad for Texas Tech if
they're able to get past Indiana, mind you, but I
like both those future wagers.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I like the value and both those future wagers.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
To come in here A and M National Championship, Texas
Tech National Championship nineteen to one and plus eight fifty
both for one unit. Now one NBA play to jump
in and you guys have seen me how cold I am?
So I am putting an NBA player prop here, But
I'm just going to go and go the most square
bet you can make.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Oka.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
See on the road against Minnesota. Look, Anthony Edwards is
a tremendous talent. He always gets up for these guys.
Okay always. But OKAC has played one game since they
lost to San Antonio. That was at home against the Clippers.
They were laying seventeen and a half in low and behold,
they won the game by twenty one points. Okay, this
team doesn't just win games, they cover at a ridiculous rate.

(15:26):
In this numbers only seven and a half. This number,
I mean, if you look at all the numbers that
we've seen for Oklahoma City, this number is lower than
any number we've seen since the twelfth of November when
the Lakers were an eight and a half point dog
and they lost the game by twenty nine. And the
game before at home against Golden State, Okay, see late

(15:47):
eight and a half and they won by twenty four. Okay,
like on the road this year seven and seven OKC.
But that's because of the numbers being as elevated. Like
on the road against Charlotte they were laying seven teen
and a half, they won by thirteen. Against New Orleans
they were laying eighteen and a half and they won
by seventeen. This is seven and a half again against

(16:08):
a Tea Wolves team that does get up for these games,
but OKAC does two. They love seeing aunt. On the
other side, they play hard as well, and they get
after it as well. I'm just call it square, call
it basic, call it whatever you want. But they beat
Minnesota by eight points at home when they were ten
and a half point favorites back on the twenty sixth.
If they win by eight again, we're good here. So

(16:31):
I'm gonna be square. Look for an easy layup, okay,
see minus seven and a half.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
It may burn me, but we're gonna jump in on that.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
So Oklahoma plus one and a half OKA see minus
seven and a half and an NBA player prop coming
up later on on the Betting pros app. Search at
Sports Talk Matt on the Betting pros app to get
it later on today when I post it somewhere just
after lunchtime for the NBA player prop for Oklahoma plus
one and a half OKA see minus seven and a half,
and who knows, maybe we'll look for an OKC plus

(17:00):
air and we have an.
