Speaker 1 (00:15):
What's up, guys? How are you welcome into a Tuesday
morning episode of the Daily Juice Podcast. I'm your host,
Matt Peroltz. You guys can follow me across all my
socials at Sports Talk Matt, and we are back after
a miracle, and I'm in a miracle two and one. Look,
there's going to be days where I'm gonna cry and
(00:35):
whine about bad beats and games that went against us
and that should have gone for us. When that happens.
Remind me of the game last night between the Chargers
and the Eagles. The under should not have hit. Eagles
should have kicked that field goal to tie the game. Instead,
(00:57):
they throw another interception or Jalen Hurts throws another interception.
Four turnovers, sorry, four interceptions, five turnovers. Jalen Hurts in
that game against the Chargers became the first player in
NFL history to have two turnovers. On the same play.
(01:17):
He threw a pick, it was intercepted, it was then
fumbled by the Chargers, picked up by Jalen Hurts, who
then fumbled it back to the Chargers. You can cue
the Benny Hill music and what a game that was
to watch. But we got it with the pick at
the end of the game. Somehow Chargers plus two and
(01:40):
a half. Hopefully you sprinkled money line and under forty
one and a half. Jalen Hurts would have gone over
his rushing total, but holding penalties on two very long
runs negated that and pulled it back. But I mean Chargers,
money line, Chargers plus two and a half and the
under forty one and a half all hit thanks to
(02:03):
one pass play one that ball is not intercepted. We
have an zero to three night. I have an zero
to four night, and it's a whole different tune here
today on a Tuesday. Instead, we start the week up.
It's our fourth consecutive winning day, and we move on
here into a Tuesday and the NBA Cup. I've got
(02:25):
two NBA plays in one and ajel Bet to give
you guys coming up here for the podcast on a Tuesday.

first game. Both these games, by the way, on Amazon
Prime for the NBA Cup now Miami Orlando Game one.
You've got two teams that wouldn't mind coming to Vegas
(03:53):
for the NBA Cup, and I think if you look
at the significance of the NBA Cup, these games do
matter to the players. Get the special court, you get
the broadcast network, you get the standalone game in Miami
opened up as one point favorites. It's been bet to
one and a half at some books or down to
(04:15):
a pick them at other books. The total for this
game is where I want to look. I lean towards
Miami winning this game, but I think the total was
a better plays two thirty five and a half. On
the road this year, Miami is six and five to
the over. At home this year, Orlando is seven and
(04:36):
six to the under. However, they are four and one
over their last five to the under, including a game
against Miami two games ago in which it was two
forty one and a half and the score was one
oh six to one oh five. It went under by
thirty and a half points, So the books have made
a slight adjustment, not a gigantic adjustment. And I think
(04:58):
this is going to be even a lower scoring game
than the one six to one oh five final back
on the fifth of December, because it is an NBA
Cup game, and I do think Orlando will grind it,
and I do think Orlando will just try to get
into a complete slugfest here with Miami. I don't think
they want to go up and down. I don't think
they want to shoot a ton of threes. I think
they want to play defense, rebound the basketball, and really
(05:20):
grind out each possession. I think the best play in
this game is to take the under two thirty five
and a half from Miami and Orlando. Last three games
have gone under for both of these teams. For of
the last five, as I mentioned here for the Orlando Magic,
including two home games against Miami and San Antonio. Chicago
(05:42):
did go over, but Detroit went under the game before that.
Now we're back at home here again, Sacramento at home
for Miami. They lost the game one twenty seven to
one eleven, but the game went under by by three
and a half points. The game against Dallas was two
thirty eight and a half that fell. It was one
eighteen one oh eight that fell twelve and a half
(06:04):
points short. So three straight games, three straight unders for
both these teams. Let's go ahead and take the under
two thirty five and a half for Miami and the
Orlando Magic in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup Under
two thirty five and a half bet number two. We
go to the second game New York at Toronto. This
(06:29):
number is a little odd to me. Okay, let's play
this out. Currently, the New York Knicks away from home
are two and seven ATS. That is not good, not
good at all. But we're gonna get the beneficiary here
of getting a lower number. Because it opened up at
two and a half, it's in bet to three and
a half. Now it's four and a half. This is
(06:49):
getting high, okay. But the Toronto Raptors are awful. They're
ten and fifteen ATS. They're four and nine ATS at home.
They haven't covered the Raptors, having covered since the twenty
fourth of November. They have lost three games in a
(07:10):
row and they've lost five of six. Their only win
was against Portland at home when they were laying five
and a half points and they won by three. On
the flip side, the Knicks have covered every game but
one since the twenty fourth of November. They didn't cover
against Boston on the road. They were one and a
half point favorites and they lost by six, but they
(07:31):
won and covered against Orlando. In their last game, they
won by thirty four points against Utah and covered one
by fifteen against Charlotte and covered one by twenty two
against Toronto, these same Raptors on the thirtieth, the game
was in New York. By the thirtieth of November, one
by nine, the covered against Milwaukee, one by twenty eight
and covered against Charlotte, and one by thirteen and covered
(07:52):
against the Brooklyn Nets, so that number was twelve and
a half. Things have been going good for the Knicks,
even though on the road they haven't been great ATS wise.
Like I mentioned, they're two and seven ATS wise, but
just given where Toronto is the fact that this team
has been swooning. At home, they've had a decent record,
(08:16):
they're eight and five, but overall they're fifteen to ten.
They've lost three games in a row. They've lost five
of six games to the Charlotte to the Knicks by
twenty two points, these same Knicks three three to the Lakers,
twenty five to Charlotte, and eight points to the Boston Celtics.
On the flip side, I have a Knicks team that
(08:38):
has won seven of eight outright, including big wins over Orlando,
winning by one oh six to one hundred, beating Utah,
beating Charlotte, and then beating these same Raptors at home
one sixteen to ninety four straight up win by twenty
two points against Toronto. It's a change of change of venue,
it's not a change of results. I'll lay the four
(09:00):
and a half points here in the quarterfinals of the
NBA Cup. Will come in and take the Knicks minus
four and a half on the road up against Toronto
to win and advance to the semi finals here in
Vegas for the NBA Cup. Now to hockey we go
and the Vegas Golden Knights, who are seven to two
and four on the road. And Vegas has won the
(09:23):
first two games of this road trip. They've won four
games overall. They beat New Jersey three nothing. They beat
the Rangers in overtime three to two. The Islanders are
coming off of a loss to the Florida Panthers four
to one on the road and a two to nothing
win over Tampa on the road. They beat Colorado six
(09:45):
to three at home. That's a big win. They beat
Tampa at home two to one. But the Golden Knights,
being as hot as they are, I love these plays
in regulation, Okay, So don't you don't lay the big
heavy juice on the money line. You just play it
in sixty in regulation and on this bet, we get
plus money. So a Golden Knights team. The Islanders are
(10:06):
seven six and two straight up at home this season.
The gold Knights are seven too and four on the
road this season. It doesn't really matter to me who
winds up playing a net for Vegas. If it's Carter Hart, fine,
I'm good with it. Soroken's been very good, as he
always is. But totals five and a half here for
this game, I do lean towards the under. But I
(10:27):
just think Vegas is hot right now, and I think
they've played so well on the road. Vegas is a
better road team than they are a home team. I
didn't think they're a better hockey team than the Islanders are.
And I think we get a win here in regulation
for the Vegas gold Knights, who have been hot, who
have been rolling, And I think if you're a Vegas
gold Knights fan, you love the fact that they've been
so good on the road. Vegas with thirty six points,
(10:50):
they are one point behind Anaheim in the Pacific Division
at the moment. But the Golden Knights, if you are
a a casual hockey fan, you're looking at Vegas going okay,
that's one of the best teams in the NHL. They've
won four straight. They're seven two and four on the road.
Like I mentioned, there's six two and two over their
(11:10):
last ten games. And on the flip side, the Islanders
haven't been playing great at home here. They're one of
the middle of the pack teams, got thirty five points
at home, they're seven six and two, They're five to
four and one over their last ten games, and they're
coming off of a loss here. I'm gonna make it
two in a row. I'm gonna get the Golden Nights
here in sixty in regulation at plus one ten for
(11:34):
the Vegas Golden Knights for one unit so heat magic
under two thirty five and a half, the Knicks minus
four and a half against Toronto. Both those are NBA
Cup games, and the Golden Knights on the East Coast
against the Islanders Vegas in regulation at plus one ten
for one units. My name is Matt Perrelt. You guys
