Speaker 1 (00:08):
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
guard your hearts and minds through your thoughts in Christ
Jesus Philippians four to seven. Do you feel at peace,
not just relaxed, but steady grounded, A peace that doesn't

(00:29):
depend on your circumstances, but holds you firm when the
world is in chaos, when everything around you feel shaken.
Most of us measure peace by how well our life
is going. If things are smooth, we feel calm. But
if things fall apart, many times, so do we. God
offers something better. He offers peace that surpasses all understanding.

(00:53):
The word surpasses, and this verse can also be translated
as above excel or better than and man. God's peace
is above it excels, and it is better than anything else.
And when we have it, it's hard to even explain
how we do, But we just get to know that
through Him we get to have peace, and our trust

(01:15):
and our hope relies fully on him. But what I
believe is this, this kind of peace also comes only
from Jesus. It doesn't depend on our circumstances, and it
isn't something we can manufacture on our own. It's a
gift he gives us when we trust him with everything
we have and everything we are. That means our response

(01:38):
to life is always the same. Good day, turn to Jesus.
Bad day, turn to Jesus. Hard times, turn to Jesus.
Good times, turn to Jesus. Because we know that Jesus
is our peace. He's the Prince of peace, yesterday, today
and forever, and that we know the peace of God
that surpass us all understanding our hearts and minds through

(02:02):
Christ Jesus. When we fall apart, he holds us up.
When the storms shake us, he remains steady. When the
world changes around us, he doesn't. His peace is better
because he is better. Lord, Thank you for your presence
that brings peace and life's chaos. Remind us that you're

(02:26):
close and that you are working all things together for
our good to those that love you on a called
according to your purposes. And we don't just want to
know about you, We want to know you in a
real and personal way. Help us to do that, Help
us to trust you, give us the peace that only
comes through you. Please help us to trust you more

(02:48):
and more every day with all that you have allowed
us to be a part of and all that we
are allowed to do. We love you, and we praise
you and thank you for loving us in Jesus' name.
Amen to
